Long time no see! I haven’t made a book since July!

I’ve had this textblock printed and ready since July and I wanted to get it bound before my imminent international move. I had scraps of two different chiyogami papers lying about plus an offcut of (probably) fake leather backed with paper - very thin, very flexible, suitable, I thought, for a tiny book. And all three bits I thought worked well together - the fireworks on the red have some dark blue dots in there.

Several years ago, I stayed for a couple days in a small town on the west coast of Corfu called Palaiokastritsa. I've only been there once, but I would go back in a heartbeat.

Music! I love listening to music and finding new songs that fill my heart and singing~ I'm in a band that plays local bars and such and we celebrated five years together a little while ago. It brings me so much joy to make music with my friends.

Ok, I haven’t really been in the fandom for a while now.  But I’ll throw out a few of my favorites that I remember. :)

1. My Name on your Lips by feelslikefire  A fantasy ABO arranged marriage AU where Yuuri secretly competes in a gladiator like competition but is also betrothed to Victor (who is the prince.)

2. Find The New World In You by opalish Keeping the summary for this one: Yuri Plisetsky was recovering from a bad fall and had been drafted into playing announcer.   It was guaranteed to be the greatest ice show ever

Friendship and Ice show shenannigans.

3. Puppy Love by Phyona this one is angsty but with a happy ending.  And Makkachin dies at  the very beginning.  But Yuuri gets turned into a dog, and spends time with Victor learning about him. (This one has always been one of my absolute favorites).

4. Minor Incidentals by aurons_fan Short but funny about Victor’s coaching fees... and Mari’s bill for Victor.

Top secret friendships built on dog pictures and hockey team spy conspiracies - this is the Seung-gil & Yuuri fic I didn’t know I needed until I read it. Opalish has an amazing grasp on humor and it really shines through in the writing here! There are just so many jokes that are dropped and keep circling back, building each time, like a perfect soft serve ice cream swirl.
