gear 5 is coming so everyone has to suffer with my gear 5 headcanons

luffys hair while in hear 5 is like clouds, we know hes made goggles in his hair and put them on but i like to imagine he also changes his hair a lot and makes a beard to make usopp and chopper laugh

when sanji is running out of food he uses g5 to stretch any remains so they have more to eat

some times luffy wakes up seizing and laughing in gear 5 and it scares the crew shitless

nami and usopp are so frustrated when they found out about it bc they start to think about how every paramecia type theyve met cant effect any change in their bodys, like kidd, doffy, law etc, their awakened abilities dont change their bodies but gear 4 changes luffys body, and the only person they know whos able to change their body to get speed, strength, etc is chopper, whos a zoan type and for DAYS theyre like "how have we never noticed this???" and robins like "i had my theories. i read a poneglyph on fishman island with some interesting information." and theyre just like "wo;.'pl.????"

for a few days after the fight was over hed have nightmares and still think hes fighting kaidou and starts seizing and laughing in his sleep

he doesnt tell anyone about the seizures except chopper, who walked in on the first one when caring for him and he asked him to keep it a secret and he started distancing himself from the crew bc he assumed they didnt like him anymore or were afraid of him and zoro came up to him and they had a heart to heart and talked about how luffy is the sun god and zoro is the king od hell and how no one is afraid of him theyre just adjusting to the changes

Modern AU in which child Yamato gets to befriend little Momo and Hiyori (they are, in fact, around the same age) and absolutely falls in love with the Kozuki family because their dad's so cool and has so many crazy stories about his crazy exploits with Whitebeard and Roger, and they're all so nice to him and having playdates at their place is the only respite he gets from his own shitty father. They all get to reconnect years later after Kaido isolates him from them, and Uncle Oden gives his children's little friend a bear hug and welcomes him with open arms
