oooh I like this question 😆 so here are my fav percabeth moments in the order of the books. also disclaimer: some really popular loved moments may not be here, but thats just because I wanted to focus on my favourite underrated moments. don't attack me!

the whole arc of their developing friendship in TLT

when percy mentioned that he and annabeth did dishes in som together and talked dirt about the new camp counsellor guy (who was he?) it really shows their friendship and their combined sass, and I want to hear that conversation in the show.

"you're a genius" (my delusional trait is thinking that annabeth heard it and no one will convince me annabeth didn't hear it)

slow dance at the end of ttc and all the scenes before that!! (I CANT WAIT TO SEE THAT ON SCREEN IT WILL BE MAGICAL)

another underrated cute moment from ttc: annabeth looking at percy gratefully after he saves her and him looking away shyly. I just think it's cute

Far and away, number one with a bullet, with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever, my all-time favorite packaged coffee drink ever is Takachiho Bokujo Cafe Au Lait.

It is so, so, so TASTY! Of course, it's also 75% milk, so it's maybe not the kind of coffee drink you mean, but most of the canned ones are kinda of indistinguishable to me anyway. And conbini coffee is so good now—it's ground and brewed to order, for about the same price as a can, and it doesn't taste like metal 😄

Am I being a spoilsport? Okay, I used to like Georgia, if only because of their delightful Twin Peaks commercials. Which I can't recommend enough if you haven't seen them.

Finally, this is not really a concern in a city, but here's my other canned coffee hangup: in rural Tōhoku, I once bought (and drank 2 sips of) a canned latte out in an isolated area without considering the low foot traffic/vending machine maintenance frequency/the shelf life of dairy products. Over a decade later, I have not fully recovered from what I found floating in it 😂 Be careful out there!

Also, I'm fairly certain E is the most popular rn simply because they're one of the only ROs at this point that actually has feelings for the MC. Usually the asshole ROs get a lot of attention, but I feel like knowing from your replies that all the other ROs just want to control the manipulate the MC really limit a lot of people being interested in them (At least rn when we can't thirst over certain scenes to ignore the red flags).

Hmmmm I can agree with you on the fact that E. is the most popular RO so far (which I'm not complaining about cause I love that sweet sweet angst huhuhu) but I think people are a little confused about the RO's? Aside from Leo and Nikita (the two most sussiest characters I've made so far) it is fairly reasonable why they want to control the MC considering they know the MC's capabilities more than anyone, and now that they're at their most vulnerable state and easy to manipulate, they can't wait to grab them first. Twenty on the other hand despises the MC and wants nothing to do with them. V. is a little sus but they got good intentions 😄 !Caesar hasn't even met MC yet 😭 as for G., well they just want to kill MC, oops, guess MC can't run away from their terrible past all the time 👀

(and oooh i'll keep that in mind when I'll be writing those scenes then! Can't have the people forget the remaining RO's can we?)

Harry/Severus. Rated: E. Words: 3,686. Written for Snarry Adopt-a-Prompt 2022. Features reverse chronology and alternating POVs! Also: ambiguous/open ending (my love!) It feels like the Snarry of my youth, that angsty and spicy student/teacher, and some good old fashioned tragedy! I really feel like I pulled the thing off with this one! (What is said "thing"? Who knows.) Also, not to pat myself on the back but...that final line? Ouch.

4.) Cruel Summer

Harry/Sirius. Rated: E. Words: 5,445. Minor Harry/Severus. Written for HP Chan Fest 2022-2023. Features gorgeous art by @mrviran. It's a fic I've had floating around my noggin' for a few years but finally felt the call to write for Chan Fest! Our two beloved, troubled boys (Harry and Sirius) live together post PoA, and sees them through plenty of dysfunction, manipulation, and other problematic content 🤭 They have a very complicated (and angsty!) connection and I am so so pleased with how it came out! It's very bit as spicy, sad, and twisted as I'd hoped!

3.) The Curse of Anteros

Harry/Severus. Rated: E. Words: 52,566. Written for Snarry Bang 2023. Inspired by an episode of Charmed called "Magic Hour" (which itself was inspired by a movie called Ladyhawke). This is another idea I've long wanted to write, but never knew how to write it until now. Curses, fairytales, magical animals, true love!! Begins with student/teacher and carries on through time to old men Snarry!!!! This fic really grew way out of control and I'm so glad it did. It feels like...a "proper" story, if that makes sense? Actual plot! Novel length! Who am I even???? Anyway I'm stupidly proud of this one. Also: ART BY MRVILLAIN AGAIN, MY BELOVED TEAMMATE, I'M OBSESSED. Like...idk I'm blown away. Which sounds bad cuz this is my story, but I don't care. This is genuinely a story that not only was I so pumped to create, but one that I'd have LOVED to read as a reader! Had someone else written this I'd have lost my mind reading it. I hate saying that, it sounds so arrogant, but I don't care, I'm losing my mind over this one. I wrote it in like 2 weeks!!!! This fic POURED out of me! And I love it!

2.) Collateral Damage

Draco/Ron. Rated: E. Words: 16,071. Written for Ron-Draco Fest 2021. The first draft of this got to like 10k before I had to scrap it and start totally over. Somehow the original opening kept winding down the wrong path. So finally after fighting with it for way too long (and only 2 weeks to go until it was due), I gave it up and tried again. Decided: "hey, let's open with porn and see what happens." Well...That worked. That did it. All I needed was to open with a BJ for magic to happen, who knew? I ended up with a story I was super jazzed about, and to my great surprise (and pleasure!) others loved it, too!!

1.) Contempt | Devotion

Harry/Severus. Rated: E. Words: 20,400 | 25,843. Written for Snarry-a-Thon 2022 and 2023. This one's cheating a bit since it's technically 2 fics, but it's also the same story in different POVs so...it kinda counts, right? Also I know people have told me they liked Devotion more but I can't help but admit that Contempt itself still holds the top spot in my heart! And while I think say The Curse of Anteros is a better overall story, I don't think any fic ever will top Contempt. I mean, never say never, but Contempt is the story of dreams. It's my heart and soul. It's the Snarry I've always wanted to write. The story, the dynamic, the characterizations, everything. It's everything I've wanted in a Snarry since I first began reading Snarry 20 years ago. Like...I have no words to express just how meaningful this work is to me. This is literally the culmination of all of my Snarry feels. I dragged this story out of my gut. I pulled it out of my skin and wrote it in my blood. That's how connected I am to this work. (Wow that sounds really dramatic but also...true.)

Genuinely I was so cared people would hate it, but I wrote it anyway because I needed it and I loved it. I'm very glad to say that plenty of others love it with me! And this is another one @mrviran offered love to in the form of a podfic! (Plus cover art!) I'm fully obsessed with the podfic (AND ART!) and I get all teary eyed when I think about it, that my dear friend worked so hard to bring more life to my baby. 🥹

Kinda funny how my favorite works (and what i consider some of my best works) were all for fests. Fests really do inspire me, even if they make me want to pull my hair out. 😂

Hmm, I’d say you can, but neither of them would be the exact same shade as Helene’s silver hair and golden eyes. Helene’s colors will look brighter and more vibrant than MC (to really sell that fairytale princess aesthetic 😅)

Oooh that's a tough question... It kind of depends on what you mean by "story"

If you're talking pure plot, I actually think 2003 has the best overall plot, in that it is very tight-knit, streamlined, and leaves little to no dangling plot threads. I enjoy that version the least out of the animated series, but I think it's got a fantastic story structure and I wish other shows had as smooth a flow.

But if you're talking character, I think Rise of the TMNT's way of handling character development and dynamics is the best. I really like how you see some of the characters' issues in the background of their shenanigans, but then it comes out in a big way during major conflicts or fight scenes. The character's stories and progression throughout the series is fantastic, especially Splinter's and Raph's in the show and Leo's in the movie.

Then there's 2012. I'm still in the middle of my re-watch of that series, so some of these opinions might change as I go on. But while I don't think it has as tight a plot as 2003 nor as consistent character progression as Rise, I think it has the best balance between the two. TMNT 2003 focuses mostly on plot, and Rise mostly on character, but TMNT 2012 juggles the two very well and I think it's an excellent in-between because you get the best of both worlds.

(do keep in mind that this is me putting on my "critique" glasses and putting aside personal preference of said series', since you asked for "best" and not "which I liked more")

Side-note/shout-out to the 1987 version for having a plot that goes all over the place and doesn't focus on its story til later. If I could isolate specific seasons of 1987, I'd say that some had really good over-arching stories that were well-made and perhaps even better than the other three series', but as a whole the 1987 show is kind of mess [affectionate]

Din Djarin + happy is where I live so I am thrilled to write you a little something especially on this Mandalorian Eve! (this might be slightly over 150 words)

Dusty, aching, in need of a good hot meal and a warm bed, Din hauled himself out of his starfighter and made his way to a house all aglow in the twilight. Set away from the town, the dwelling was small but cozy with a welcoming warmth about it. As he approached, happy laughter and singing seemed to beckon him closer. He watched as the inhabitants danced by the window, carefree and content, a parent and child enjoying their evening. He jogged the last few steps to the door and as soon as he unlocked it, he could hear exclamations of excitement followed by the sound of feet scurrying towards him. Shooting star is the glee school shooting episode. It's the worst example of them butchering a serious issue but there were many (suicide, post partum depression, eating disorders...). Yeah exactly. It is an interesting documentary though. I found it curious how they barely dedicated any time to mark salling. Like usually a documentary like that would milk the scandal as much as it could, but they barely touched on it.

Answering for the Seeker 🌻 and the Informant 🔍

➳ Describe a time one of you almost took a chance at making a move on the other, only to chicken out.

Oooh good one... I mentioned in a previous answered ask the one time they were testing mechanical wings. Let us get into details... First of all, those wings were requested by the Informant, and since he had to remain hidden, he tasked Seeker to bring the plans to the Blacksmith. Seeker made one small change to the order ; she requested two pairs of wings instead of one, unbeknowst to the Informant. So obviously he inquired about it when she came back. "I... I wanted to test these too. I hope it doesn't bother you..." "It does not, I am simply surprised you would..." "Would what ?" "... Would want to do this. With me..." Under her breath : "If only you knew..." "Pardon ?" "Nothing !" They arrived at a hill with a nice slope they could jump off without getting hurt, and WEEEEEEEEEE !!! They managed to glide for a moment before rolling down the hill, and she ended up on top of him. They were laughing so much, and ended up with their faces... quite close. Their eyes met, they glanced down, their noses were almost touching... And Seeker pulled away, not really sure why. Maybe she was embarrassed, maybe she thought he was embarrassed, or maybe she was scared he would see her as wanting an excuse to see his face.

➳ What's one significant moment of physical contact you had during the pining stage?

I just talked about an important one right above, but there is another one, where there was no attempt at making a move at all. They did not know each other for long at that time. They were on a quest at night in the forest, and as they followed their map and Seeker's instinct (the latter was not exactly approved by the Informant), they ended up at the top of a small hill. "Well, look where your instinct led us..." "Hey ! It usually works !" "Do not look at me like that, you know there is a first time for everything..." "Well you know what, I–" Crack. The soil at the edge of the hill gave out under their feet and they ended up rolling down to the bottom. "Get off me... you're heavy..." "Easy to say... Hey ! Your hair is tangled in my sleeves' buttons !" "Ow ! Watch out !" The Informant propped himself up to get off her, but he immediately leaned back down. "Hey ! What the– Hmmphh !" "Quiet !" When she followed his gaze, her own eyes widened as she saw the werewolf not that far away. They stayed hidden in the tall grass, on top of each other, her breath huffing against his hand, their minds filled with fear and each other's pleasant scent (who said that /j), their wide eyes staring ahead until the werewolf went away. They just stayed like that for a few moments, just to be sure it was gone, obviously... 🤫🤫

12) What is my favorite trope to write and why?

I really like fake dating and friends-to-lovers. Something about realizing there's something different going on, something different than friendship or partnership, I think. I like when I can make characters realize they've been reading things wrong. Fake dating is also very messy and I am know to love the mess haha.

Jane closed her eyes to savor the tug of Tatiana Martinez’s teeth on her lower lip. Quickly, control spiraled, and her heart hammered. Her fingers trembled when they curled around Tatiana’s waist, and her back sweated when Tatiana put a hand flat on it. They kissed, lips on lips, tongue tangling with tongue, until Jane felt that hand move to her chest. “Jesus,” she whispered, more a feeling against Tatiana’s mouth than a sound in her ear.

“Just Tati is fine,” Tatiana teased when she pulled back. “I haven’t seen you in…”

“Five years? Five long-ass years,” Jane finished, just before lunging in for another kiss. The atmosphere of the steamy, rapidly-filling bar pressed in around them, cocooning them in with each other. 

Tatiana laughed when Jane found her again. “Stop for a second,” she said. “I’d like to think we have all night.”

“Do we?” Jane asked, eyes somehow darker and all alight at the same time.

“Don’t we? Do you have somebody to go home to?” Tatiana asked back. “You didn’t mention anyone.”

Jane shakes her head. “Nah. Not really,” she replied. “There’s a guy overseas… army. But we’re not serious. I think I might have already dumped him.”

Tatiana laughed, mouth open and a hand on Jane’s chest. “You think? You always were so messy when it came to love, papi,” she said, her accusation light, playful. When her fingers hit leather, she scrutinized Jane more directly: jeans, boots - possibly from work, a v-neck tee, and a jacket. She narrowed her perfectly threaded eyebrows. She shook her head.

Jane frowned, checked herself out. “What, I don’t look good?”

“I didn’t say that,” Tatiana replied. “You just look like you’re meeting my brother. What happened to the Jane that used to take me out? What happened to my Jane?” She was remembering Jane in silk shirts, with loud tropical prints, in dark skinny jeans, in exposed ribbed undershirts, catholic pendants around her neck, bathed in perfume. Reckless Jane - Jane chasing promotions and chasing Tatiana’s naked form all over the bed.

Jane remembered herself at that age, too. “To be fair, I had no idea you’d be here,” she said, blushing, her lips practically hanging off of Tatiana’s ear. The scent of Tati’s hair, of coconut shampoo and fruity styling products, set a symphony off against her ribcage. Knock knock knock knock. Memories of debauchery and athleticism tickled her brain before releasing in a deluge.

“Hmm,” Tatiana hummed when Jane gave into temptation and ran the tip of her tongue over the side of Tatiana’s neck. “It’s because I never know if I am gonna be here. That would be better with a shot and a little salt, you know,” she said, stepping confidently into the affection.  

“Jane!” Maura called over the music, with the tray serendipitously in her hand and Frankie right behind.

Jane jerked upright, as if just having remembered that she didn’t come to the club alone, or at least hadn’t planned to be there alone. “H-hey!” she shouted, catching sight of Maura. The visual was calming; it pulled her spirit back into her shoes when it had threatened to float above the crowd and out into the summer night. 

Tatiana, ever the extrovert, helped Maura take the tray to the small standing-room table close by. “You have excellent timing,” she said to Maura while Jane and Frankie followed along. “We were just talking about how we needed some shots! Jane, Frankie, who is this beautiful woman?”

Jane cleared her throat and tried not to use what little Spanish she had to decipher the salacious lyrics pounding into the room around them while she stared at Tatiana’s ass in that tight skirt. And then there was Maura’s tight skirt, ass and all, and…

She needed to get ahold of herself.

“This is uh, this is Dr. Maura Isles,” she said, coming up behind Tatiana, hand on her waist. “She’s the Chief Medical Examiner of the Commonwealth, and she’s my best friend.” Jane smirked at that last part, a smirk reserved only for Maura, which Maura was happy to see preserved considering Jane was behind Tatiana and therefore hidden from Tatiana’s view. Maura smiled back just before her lips closed around the lip of her beer. 

Jane gulped. “Shit. Before we do shots, I gotta get me one of those,” she said, squeezing her way through bodies as more started to hit the floor. Maura watched her rub her entire front on Tatiana’s entire back and suddenly had the urge to tell Jane there was no more waiting. Shot time was now. 

But then, Jane put a hand on Maura’s forearm and leaned close. “Wait for me, yeah?” she said into the hair at Maura’s temple, the only way to be heard now that the music had been pumped up. “I’ll be right back.”

Maura nodded dumbly. “Sure,” she said, once Jane had already left.

“Dr. Isles!” Tatiana shouted. Her voice sounded muffled and far away, but Maura still turned toward her. Again, stunning. Close up, Maura noticed all the ways that Tatiana and Rafael looked alike: eyes set the same distance apart and burning with intelligence, full and glossy lips, the same broad and beautiful nose. Tatiana deviated from her brother in the womanliest of ways, however, with the curve of her hips and the kind of ass Maura had begged the universe for in high school. She thought she’d gotten quite a good return on her investment, but… Tatiana had her beat in both shape and bounce. Maura only had the tiniest bit of a hard time admitting it. Apparently, she had been lost in thoughts of Tatiana’s good looks so long that she’d missed her name, because it came again. “Dr. Isles!” Tatiana repeated. “I looked you up when my brother said he was working with you!” she yelled across the cadence of drums and guitars that she swayed to. 

“Oh, you did?” Was all that Maura could think to shout back, feeling bold with her beer and putting a hand on the silk of Tatiana’s shirt, right above her wrist.

“I did! Youngest person ever to be Chief M.E.! I gotta say, that’s impressive!” replied Tatiana. Maura’s brain analyzed all aspects of her with impressive speed, trying to dissect all the things that might make Jane as wrapped up in Tatiana as she clearly was. Interestingly, her Spanish accent, slight, sounded different than Rafael’s, and Maura couldn’t quite place it. Mexico? Guatemala? Distinctly American-born.

She didn’t get the chance for further study because Jane slithered against her before moving past. “Hey, I got us a round,” said Jane, carrying four beers, two in each hand. “Seemed like a good idea.”

Jane’s deep voice, loud like Tatiana’s but not feminine like hers, carried notes of the North End and its own very specific Sicilian-American leftovers. Maura gulped, chugging the rest of her beer so she could take the next bottle from Jane. “Thank you!” she raised the empty one to Tatiana in response to her previous comment, and then, more quietly, she wrapped her fingers around Jane’s around the base of the amber bottle. “And thank you,” she said, in her normal volume, relying more on the hooding of her eyes to convey her words to Jane.

Jane, already on her way to Tatiana, stopped for a moment. “Y-yeah, you’re welcome,” she said, with that Maura-specific smile one more time.

Oh gosh, it’s probably a tie between Dina and Arthur 😭 I love them both, but I have to be really in deep writing-wise to channel them and ensure I’m accurately capturing their voices!

Oooh that’s tough to choose!! Maybe something from into a world unknown, although it’s hard to pinpoint an exact line! I’ve been in deep with that story for so much time with writing and editing, so it’s definitely the one I’ve vibed with most this year in terms of my writing!

What's your favorite Yugioh GX AU?

Oooh that's a good and interesting question! 🤔

Well kinda generally speaking, I really like fantasy and/or fantasy adjacent AU's. I think it stems from growing up very engrossed in the Final Fantasy and Zelda series' and growing into Fire Emblem once I hit middle school. I love fantasy adventures what can I say?

I also really like fairytale AU's, like Disney kinda stuff which I suppose falls under fantasy adjacent doesn't it? 😅

Now in terms of like, the fanfiction I consume that falls under this stuff I could very easily plug my own shit and name my own stuff my favorite, I mean I write what I want to read y’know? You want something you do it yourself lol. But there's a couple fics I've read I really liked, which is great because these kinds of AU's in my experience for GX are very few and far between especially in the wheelhouse of content that I am specifically yearning for.

But there is the one fic I read a little while back I thought was cute and fun that I really liked

It's like a Peter Pan esque stormshipping AU which seeing as I did a stormshipping Sleeping Beauty AU and currently have a Cinderella AU in the works and a Snow White AU currently being workshopped that's kinda right up my alley 😄 this is probably my favorite one that I've found thus far.

But if we're gonna plug my own stuff 👀

And even more of a like AU AU if that makes any sense, I wrote this one a couple years back

A spiritshipping fantasy adjacent AU that leans on the concept of the 12 dimensions that Yubel is trying to collapse in on each other in season 3, so kinda like an AU of the general plot of season 3 if you wanna think about it that way I guess 😅 princes, princesses, kings, wizards, duel monsters exist as all powerful dieties, bromances and romances all over the place,, all kinds of fun stuff!

So I guess my general answer would be, if it's a fantasy adjacent AU, and especially if it's stormshipping or spiritshipping, I will read it 🤭🤭🤭

Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Demo Thinky Thoughts

A bit late, but I wanted to share my first reaction to the Awakened demo! This is essentially an expanded version of what I wrote on the FW discord, with screenshots edited to look nicer for tumblr. I will do a separate post on the extra stuff that is normally inaccessible without Ansel. [Extra stuff post here]

So: spoilers ahead + keep in mind that the game is darker and moodier, I edited some of the screenshots so that they are clearer on tumblr/mobile view.

Sweet sweet concept art, gorgeous intro music, yay! The main theme is atmospheric and dark, giving me very slight vibes of the Sarif HQ track from DX:HR... I mean this in a good way, not in a “they copied it” way. It’s that sort of nostalgic ambience, but deeper and darker. One day I’ll stop drawing parallels to Deus Ex, but today is not that day.

The intro cinematic is pre-rendered and really good; I liked Sherlock's narration and the implication it's all in Watson's/players' hands now... He sounds more authoritative and distant than in CO.

I really liked the visual with the fly caught in the cobweb.

I did not expect this! It's a really fun title sequence and wow, we’re being thrown straight into chapter 3. I too thought it would be London but this is great 😄

WATSON!!! At this point I’m thinking, “Oooh we're gonna play as Watson, they probably don’t want to show Sherlock just yet, I know someone who's gonna be very happy about this o,o” (ahem hem, @lucere-aeresta​) I like long dialogues/cinematics so this intro was a treat. I'll have to replay of course but it felt very satisfying to see a chunk of the story here and be introduced to the new characters. There’s a lot going on!

You can walk around a little and talk to a couple of NPCs. There’s this easter egg - it’s a Lovecraft easter egg (thanks for figuring that one out, Lucere!) The paper itself is straight from Cordona. :D

You cannot pick this letter up, but the message is very clear. May be a clue in the final game.

Who’s there...? BTW this is the exact face Sherlock gives Jon when he plays the guitar too loudly in the CO seance scene :D

OH NO. LMAO! This had me in stitches, and of course I lied. Nice American accent, you dork. The subsequent journal entry essentially saying "Watson tried to act, I guess" gave me a chuckle. I tried!  So hard! And in the en-- moving on...

Here’s how the journal looks like now. The clues have updated icons and you can toggle to sort them by type (document, conversation, item, etc.) or the order in which you found them.

So yeah, Sherlock shows up in disguise and a terrible American accent, says the iconic “Guten day,” and then he gets sedated because Watson cannot lie to save his life.

Of course. OF COURSE. Now I know someone who's going to be a bit disappointed we don’t spend much time as Watson, but that's not me. 😂 My first thought -> they heard us cry and wail about the stubble and said "We're gonna make you beg to have the stubble back" Ok, ok, you win. I'm sorry. 😭

(insert half an hour of zooming around with Ansel instead of playing the damn game) This is how the game levels look when you go out of bounds!

Found some of you in the back! And in the cells! :3 (There’s a wall with photographs of the Kickstarter backers, and a row of cells with names and custom faces - although you cannot see the characters very well at this point.)

Right, I should play. The lockpicking puzzles were fun, but I'll admit I found both of them extremely easy. But I am a seasoned adventure game fan and it's a nice little thing to do for that feeling of escaping the cells. The “Mycroft” (custom) difficulty setting does let you change the puzzle difficulty, so we are probably going to face a bigger challenge in the finished game. The settings don’t make a difference in the demo, though.

FYI, there's a guard that you need to figure out how to get past. It's not a sneaking sequence, but you need some items. If he notices you 3 times he rings the alarm, and the game reloads

At this point I'm having fun just investigating stuff and admiring the new journal etc., it's all very nicely designed. It's awesome that we can sort evidence by type now! The mind palace facelift is so good and feels more involved than before.

The biggest tease in all of the demo: THAT EXCLAMATION MARK. Let... me... see... outfits! 😂 Lovingggg the updated outfit screen, so happy there's some gorgeous lighting in there. It looked kinda bad in CO.

Okay, back to playing the game! I LIED, more photoshoots as the inmates scream, cry, and wail all around me. Sucks to be them, I guess.

Okay, Gerda! I LOVE her new design, and her voice actress too! She was so great.

Gerda is the second inmate that we meet. She wants her friend Heidi back and until then she will not talk. The first inmate that we meet is Mauricio Napoleon, it is just a short but entertaining conversation/cinematic. We don’t talk to him any more in the demo.

Something something Silent Hill 3 (Gorgeous!)

I try to play the mountain goat in every game and the absence of the jump button will not stop me

So I didn't take screenshots of the quite meaty gameplay surrounding getting Heidi back and figuring out what's going on, so here's some thoughts: - The updated crime scene investigation looks fantastic! The smokey green aesthetics are fitting and everything is much clearer than it was in CO. I like that we can see how many variations there are for each 'node'. The only thing I'm not sure about is the first person perspective - Sherlock's close focus mode - because I had trouble seeing what's different in the variations, and sometimes the models would push me back a little bit when they loaded. I'd move away from the node just by trying to see things and had trouble re-positioning... not a great deal of trouble, of course, but it is a downgrade from SHCO. I think the 3rd person mode like with Jon in CO works much better. This is my biggest criticism of the demo. - There was a tad too much running back and forth just to seemingly fetch a few items... this may be polished further, I don't know. It gave me old adventure game vibes where you kinda run back and forth for a few small things lol. - I wished we could use the items more directly and/or assemble things, not just have them as text in the inventory... but I understand that making a new puzzle feature may be too much work at this point - The "three clues" dialogue confused me for a moment, but so it did in CO as well so this may be a ‘me’ problem 😂 I keep forgetting that there are 3 different questions to answer, not that I need to present 3 accurate clues... hahah. - The darker overtones are soooo up my alley! When I figured out what had happened to one of the people in the casket... ooof anyway, time to find and assemble Heidi!

I unlocked a reward, and what a sweet one it is! Sadly, you cannot change your clothes in the demo. The updated physics make his chain and bag go bouncing like crazy, haha.
