I got really into Cult of The Lamb, and my brain did what it did best and smashed together my other major hyperfixation and the idea of Atem as The One Who Waits and Yugi as The Lamb would NOT leave my mind.

I initially drew up a quick sketch back in August of LAST YEAR,, and my motivation died out back when I wasn’t able to finish anything. It would stay an unfinished sketch…

Except the super amazing @book-keeper loved the crossover idea so much that they wrote a twoshot for it, and my motivation immediately came back to life.

It only took a year and some change, but I’m so grateful to them for bringing my motivation back to finish it 💖

Do you have absolutely anything at all that you could tell us more about for Friends in small places?!

I do! But not too much where I’ll reveal everything that will happen in future chapters or big hints anything. Also sorry for not posting a chapter in forever! I will get back to them soon!

Casper used to be a really popular kid at school until he showed symptoms of being a shifter. Kids saw him as a monster and his teachers didn’t want him around other kids in case of any accidents. Later on his parents removed him from school after a while and was then admitted as a special case shifter.

Special cases are for shifters who shift even at the slightest overcrowding of emotion. Even when Cas is extremely happy he’ll have a tendency to shoot up a few feet before he realizes and calms himself down. Though this more often happens with negative emotions.

Cas’s family really just want what’s best for him and don’t agree with what people are doing to him but as long as it’s helping they can’t say anything. Shifters can either shrink or grow, and this is at random since this new mutation in humans wasn’t there before.

Liam and Cas are still trying to get used to eachother and all of that, but I do have some pretty nice scenes coming up (fluff and angst) and I do plan to make this longer than Restoration! (Due to plot holes and so, so many great suggestions of what I should do that I’m going to write all of them)

Desperate need to specify that Fukuzawa being a ‘lone wolf’ was something other people, random folks pinned onto him, whereas it’s explicitly shown that Fukuzawa’s actually a social guy, but social for like. Freaks. Weird people. People who probably would’nt (or should’nt) pass a mental health check. Fukuzawa’s a lone wolf out of nurture because he attracts the worst people otherwise.

Oh, you don’t think so? Ranpo says he’s afraid of strangers, and then we’re directly told that Fuku’s a fighting legend. I would be afraid of strangers too if my only friends/lovers/employees were all insane and obsessed with me.

Figured out my problem with the Grand Festival outfits: they're so beige. It's sad. SO was all about bringing COLOR to the world, the game's theme is CHAOS.

The cleaner artstyle doesn't help. Yes, the image is gorgeous but it's all so clean and nice which brings out the sad lack of colors.

The easy solution was to add dashes of colors on the outfits, a bit like the Inkling walking in the area. Or! Base it on Holi! The Hindu festival where they throw paint at each other! I mean, Indian culture is a part of Splat3, it's mixed with Brazilian (who are also known to have colorful events) and Japanese culture. It fits with the games in general. The only problem is that it wouldn't be aesthetic enough for the idols, or that would just mean that they would stay their normal colors, so the white/beige could be tainted with splashes of different colors. If we're being extra, throw in holographic textures instead of metallic.

Chaos won so let's keep it chaotic until the end! Really hoping that we get new outfits and the map/aesthetic gets more silly as we hit the Big Run part of the finale. At this point, it's gonna happen, it's in the code and we know the Grand Festival was coded to last 5 days, not 3. Everything pointed to a last Big Run so it's just confirmation that we're getting it (specifically in the city) and the party's gonna get crashed
