Everyone in the O'Hara household knew that the last Sunday of every month was deep cleaning day. Meaning, throwing things away, donating clothes that none really used, recycling, declutering and dancing to hispanics songs.

It was Gabi's turn to decluter the library. She pulled out coloring books that were no longer usable, old text books from previous grades, some old draws and inked paper. However she found a thick and leathery clip book with the title "Our Wedding Mr. & Mrs. O'Hara"

Gabi gasped and pulled out the book, removing the dust from it's delicate surface. She marveled at the first picture.

You in a lovely white dress, looking back at Miguel, he gave you an oiellade back, holding one of your hands delicately, a soft yet genuine smile on his face. He wore a black tuxedo. The picture was 12 years old. Just like Gabi's age.

She flipped the page and another picture of you both cutting the cake was shown, she could recognize some people in some pictures. Uncle Gabriel wearing a suit, and an emerald green bow around his neck, raising his glass of champagne as he had the mic.

Uncle Peter doing a goofy grin as he held the mic and pointing at Miguel, as if telling a funny story as you covered your face in embarrassment. She could recognize her aunties, MJ and Jessica, laughing on the side.

Gabi chuckled and flipped another page. Some photos were blurry, but her eyes stopped on a new one. You and Miguel holding hands at the altar, little bashful smiles on both your faces. He held you with love and attentiveness. Nothing much had changed between the two of you.

"Solecito, es hora de comer." (Supper time, sunshine)

Miguel however stopped and chuckled with fondness at the book.

"Where did you find this?"

"In the library, was cleaning up. You and Mama looked pretty"

Miguel smiled and scooted her closer as he inspected the photos.

"Uncle Peter has always been-"

"A doof? yeah. He was telling the story of how me and your Mama danced in one of his parties."

"Uncle Peter threw parties?!"

"Yeah, he did. But eventually just turned into closed one gatherings." He smiled at the first picture Gabi saw. The same look on his face.

"How long have you been together with Mama?"

"How old are you?"

Gabi gasped and giggled

"That much?!"

"Claro. No le digas a tu mami, pero sabes cómo solía llamarla?" (Of course. Don't tell mommy but do you know how I used to call her?)

Gabi giggled and shook her head.

"How?"

"Promise me you won't tell her? You'll get in trouble if you do."

Gabi made the zipper gesture on her lips and Miguel nodded.

"I used to call her Pitufina."

Gabi laughed but Miguel shushed her.

"Pitufina? why?"

"Dunno. It came to me at the moment she stood in a chair to try and get some cups above the fridge."

"She still does that."

Miguel nodded with affection.

"Did she call you something?"

"Dracula"

Your voice echoed from behind them with a knowing smirk. Miguel gave an airy chuckle

"Can you believe him? He tried to open a bottle lid's with his teeth!"

Gabi laughed.

"He still does that too!"

"I could never get rid of that habit."

You kissed Miguel and smooched Gabi on the forehead.

"Food's done. Come eat! Benjamin is beating you all in finishing first."

Okay so my theory on the screen in Who mv is that it’s a device, it was never hinting at a collab.(unless one with you know who comes along than yay!!)

call it a plot point if you will, but it’s literally and figuratively falling from the sky to block Jimins path, to turn his direction.

When you think about the lyrics and what the song is asking, ‘who is my heart waiting for’ , notice no question mark of course… so less a question more a statement.

To me, it’s Jimins walk through his questioning himself and his wants/desires. So him thinking of a girl, one that society dictates he should want or find, but that’s not WHO caught his eye, or his heart. If you watch the video and the dancing he is trying each girl he comes across but none is right. He dances west side story style with 6 other men, bts, at first, with the girls. The next time the men are seen on screen one has disappeared interestingly enough, leaving 6 men dancing…

then Jimin walks forward but the screen crashes down, blocking Jimins path, telling him to keep going…

the screen then rewinds and he walks down the street again, this time he doesn’t interact with the women, he walks past them, doesn’t touch them.

then in the end there is a tornado of love (from the postcard at the start), it’s come to rip apart or shake up everything he thought was true, or I guess required. He sings passionately but he cannot keep up with the group dancing until the second part of the chorus, he’s accepted himself is how I see it. The street empty and he walks away.

now the tornado is also a device of sorts and some screenshots of it also show is has a face within the swirling vortex. There are fireworks etc it’s all going off.

There is a lot of queer coding in the video, the colours, the signs, the way the vhs /auto calibration to go back as a above, I’m sure there are many meanings etc, he is extremely clever I’d say.

Also keep going being a saying often used in real life and also in fiction… as well as are you sure? It’s literally in every ff ever. Coincidence maybe but still fascinating to me.

anyway, that’s my two pennies, my only other though is that using the phrase on Ays for the photo stills was a way of tying it together but it also could be as I said above use of a very common phrase

summary: fluff, drabble, dispatch exposing your relationship with Jaehyun after getting caught attending a Bruno Mars concert together. wc: 809 a/n: Hi! Thank you for requesting! sorry it took so long but I had sm fun writing this because it reminded me how good Bruno Mars songs are! (Also in one part I mention that y/n is in aespa, I hope that's ok!) <3

“You make me feeell like I’ve been locked out of heaaaven for too longgg.” You and Jaehyun sing in unison, not caring a single bit if you were in key or not. 

When Jaehyun had asked you if you wanted to go to the Bruno Mars concert with him, you couldn’t say ‘yes’ fast enough. Countless dates with Jaehyun have ended in the car singing his songs at the top of your lungs with the windows down, the wind not even close to drowning out your passionate singing. 

You had been a little nervous about going since your relationship with Jaehyun was not public yet, but he assured you that you didn’t have to worry. You both wore hats that covered your faces pretty well and your seats were out of view from most people in the audience, so you really thought you didn’t have to worry. 

As “Locked out of Heaven” ended, Bruno Mars switched to a slower song “It Will Rain.” Lights lit up all around the arena from the flashlights on everyones phone. You both joined it, swaying your phones along with the crowd and singing, “There’ll be no sunshine if I lose you baby” 

At the very end of the song, Bruno Mars stepped away from the mic and let the crowd sing the “oohh” part, and it was magical. You and Jaehyun laughing at each other when you saw that you both got goosebumps from the beautiful moment. 

Just when you thought the concert couldn’t get any better, you hear the beginning notes of Finesse, one of your all time favorite songs. Using a half empty water bottle as a microphone, you and Jaehyun sing and dance along. 

You sing, “Fellas grab your lady if your lady fine.” while Jaehyun grabs your waist and pulls you in close to him, swaying to the music. Your cheeks hurt by the end of the song from smiling so much, you truly didn’t have a single care in the world and it was easily one of the best concerts you’ve been to.

The rest of the night you were on that concert ‘high’ that you always get after a fantastic concert. You didn’t feel a single negative emotion, until the very next day when you were woken up by Jaehyun’s manager calling him. This wasn’t too uncommon of an occurrence, so you closed your eyes again and tried to go back to sleep until Jaehyun shot up in bed right next to you. 

He involuntarily grabbed your arm as he listened to his manager. They talked for a while and when Jaehyun hung up, his face was pale white. Still, he smiled at you and stroked your hair like he always did when you woke up next to him. 

“Is everything alright?” You ask, sitting upright alongside him. 

He nodded his head, but when his phone dinged with a text from his manager, he let you see for yourself what was happening. You grab Jaehyun’s phone and click the link to a Dispatch article. 

The bolded title read: “NCT’s Jaehyun and aespa’s Y/n go Home Together after Attending a Bruno Mars Concert.”

The first photo attached was a blurry picture of you two getting in the same car. “You can really tell that’s us.” You say, trying to think positively. 

Jaehyun hums in response as he watches you scroll some more. If you thought there would be room to deny the allegations, you were proved very wrong when multiple videos started playing of you and Jaehyun dancing together, specifically during the song Finesse. 

There was more to the article but you set his phone down in your lap. A million emotions were flying through your mind, but after a couple of moments you found yourself laughing. Jaehyun laughs along with you too, because of course this would be how your relationship leaked. 

You had both spent so long being so secretive about everything you did together and now that it was finally out, you couldn't help but feel relieved. 

“Am I wrong for being kinda happy about this?” Jaehyun asks you. 

“Honestly I think I feel that same way.”

Jaehyun scoots closer and wraps his arms around you. “I hate hiding you from everyone.” He whispers, kissing you on the cheek. 

“Me too” you say, leaning your head against the bed frame and looking at him. He kisses you and you both melt into each other, feeling like a million years worth of stress just flew away. 

Obviously you were still going to have to deal with the consequences of this coming out, but you had this weird feeling that everything was going to turn out alright. You and Jaehyun will have each other no matter what, and you knew that he wasn’t going to let anything get in the way of what you two have.

as he steps closer towards her, she tries not to react. eyes pierce through his, swallowing the lump down her throat. how was she supposed to tell him all that when she knew for a fact it wasn’t true. “nobody knows all my weak spots,” she scoffs locking gazes with his. “he’s way better than you ever were,” lying straight through her teeth as lips curves into a sweet smile.

"you don't want me?" he stepped close to her, them just inches apart. "then tell me. tell me he's better at everything, that he knows all your weak spots."

ooh Minnie in the gifset that you just reblogged Sebastian talks about my favourite Evanstan moment which is when his mom wanted to take a picture with Chris. I can just imagine Chris being so overwhelmed and wanting to make a good impression on her and giving his best mega watt smile and maybe even a hug because Chris is a hugger! And Seb was probably a bit flustered with the camera not working and finally getting it to work and was probably so grateful to Chris for being so sweet and patient and his crush in him just gets bigger! ❤ I wish we what been able to see that picture

Oohh I know honey, isn't it just the cutest thing ever? 🥹 Chris was already a pretty big star back then, and moreover, Sebastian had probably been gushing to her about what a great guy Chris was, so Mama Stan simply had to have a picture with him 🥹💖 It's just so CUTE

And Chris is such a mama's boy himself, and had probably heard so much about Seb's mom too, that he definitely also was a little nervous and honoured she'd want to take photos with him! I can definitely imagine him hugging her, absolutely, and I am just swooning at imagining the look on Sebastian’s face in that moment 💕 Like, he already had a bit of a crush, but then to se Chris being so sweet to his mom, the person he loves most in the world? 🥺 Big moment for all involved no doubt, and probably extra memorable to everyone involved because they had to try a few times before it worked 🥰

Orion: has the default iPhone background that comes with the phone. He never changed it and wouldn't change it even in a relationship mostly to avoid prying eyes from asking about it. His home screen however...a picture of his partner, surely

Seb: background is of Maya. A school photo, definitely (the ones in front of those dated blue backdrops lol). In a relationship he'd change it to Maya with his partner together.

Seven: current background is of a quote from their favorite author. something deep and then one of Soft Violence together as their home screen. Maybe a solo selfie of Seven and their band members. In a relationship? Seven loves to flaunt those they love so they'd change their backgrounds to them and their partner together.

Seven’s background with MC used to be photobooth pictures, so maybe that again? Though I do imagine Seven having that on the back of their phone inside their case (like a kpop photocard LOL)

August: August's background is a very generic picture of the woods or something. Nothing special. August would probably change it to something not too obvious in a relationship: like a picture of MC and theirs hands interlocked or something hm

G: G’s background is definitely a saucy photoshoot picture of themself because they love their face or a picture their photographer took of the crowd during a concert or of them performing. I don’t see G changing it in a relationship. If they’re super super in love, then yeah. Maybe. They do love emojis though so they’d have a bunch of heart emojis in the contact name in a relationship.

Vic: Victoria’s is one of her and G together. Or maybe a picture of an accomplishment of hers: like her name on a marquee or something. She would definitely change it in a relationship. She’s big on that. It would be pictures of her partner everywhere haha

Oohh 15 and Cole!

“I look dumb,” Cole complains as he stands in your giant backyard, a frown on his lips.

“You don’t look dumb,” you say, walking over to him after making sure the camera is set up the exact way you want it.

“You won’t even be able to see my face,” he exclaims, gesturing to the white sheet with two holes cut out to represent a ghost.

“Okay but isn’t that the point?” you ask, confused by his frustration.

Cole and you had been dating for almost a year now and he had yet to even soft launch your relationship to any fans or outsiders. He was terrified that you would get all sorts of hate even indirectly and he never wanted to be the cause of your pain. He was always doing so much to make sure you were safe and comfortable.

“Well yeah but,” he starts but trails off unsure of what he wants to say.

“Coley,” you say, grabbing your boyfriend's hands and forcing him to look at you. “It’s going to be fine.”

“I just don’t want,” he begins again but you interrupt him.

“I’m an adult, my love, I can handle a bit of criticism if it comes my way. If it makes you feel better, I won’t even look at the post after it’s up.”

Cole nods, trying to convince himself that everything really would be okay. He had known from day one that you were it for him, the idea of anyone hating you or criticizing you did something so violent to his heart it scared him.

“Come on,” you say, leaning up and pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Let’s take a few photos for your insta and then we’ll do normal ones for mine.”

Cole nods and slips the sheet over his head, adjusting till he can see out of the eye holes before sliding his matching sunglasses down onto his face. You join him, your first photo being the two of you holding hands. The next is Cole draping himself over you, and the last is a kiss through the thin white sheets.

“Okay, that was fun,” he admits when he pulls the sheet off and throws it on the ground.

You take a few normal photos and Cole immediately makes one his lockscreen when the two of you head inside.

Cole is still a nervous wreck after posting the photos, but he finds his fans utterly supportive and practically obsessed with you and y’all’s relationship.

“I love you,” Cole says, pressing a long kiss to your lips and your heart soars.

Oohh. I'm inclined to say both tho! But in different ways:

Armin would have Annie's photo set as his phone wallpaper, both on the lockscreen and homescreen. And it would be a candid photo he probably took of her somewhere, when she didn't know about it. But it would be a beautiful photo, with Annie caught mid-laugh in a windy field of flowers, or looking contented as she stuffs her face with cake in a corner cafe on a rainy evening. He'd be very proud to show off her cuteness, whether that's her appearing serene and beautiful, or scowling cutely at the disobedient sugary sweet that's given her an icing-nose or an icing-moustache.

As for Annie... her lockscreen would be a photo of their cat-baby, or a blue sky with white puffy clouds. Your run-of-the-mill average wallpaper, nothing much to see there. But once her phone is unlocked, and the homescreen pops up, that's when you see Armin's face, fast asleep. Her favourite thing ever is to collect photos of him sleeping, because he's so honest and cute and handsome like that. Messy hair, reddish nose, glued-together eyelashes, slightly open mouth. What's not to love? But nobody gets to see that except her, which is why it's only her homescreen wallpaper and nobody ever, EVER, sees her homescreen wallpaper.
