how people can't separate mun and muse . yes we adore our muses and have fun writing them, but at the end of the day, there should be a fine line in between.

when people steal from other people . there is one thing about getting inspiration from others, but it's another when you are flat out plagiarizing.

when people are passive aggressive towards you in and out of character . i'm sorry, but that's one of the big no nos for me. again, i'm not about that drama.

possessive people . i can't deal with that. everyone is here to write with everyone. it is never about one person. you are not the center of attention. indie rp is for everyone to write together and have fun together. if people can't handle that, then get out of indie.

racial bending and white washing . just don't fucking do it.

people who rush other people for fucking replies .

You're also wrong if you think Athena only likes Penelope because of Odysseus and/or Telemachus. As if Athena didn't see a young Penelope pull some shit and immediately think "Oh! hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O

unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!

my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not

What are a lot of the main consequences for a kid becoming a fairy? And does Timmy ever miss his bio parents or his human friends?

Aside from his inability to visit the Human Realm? There are Eight Major Consequences to becoming a Fairy. At least, 8 that Timmy has discovered.

The first major consequence are Magic Adjustments. Human Children's small bodies need to handle at least a Pixies' worth of magic output. Slow prolonged exposure to Fairyworld is matched with an increase in consumed Magic.

This is not an issue for Fairies, born and raised within Fairyworld, but for outsiders its a lot like an itch you cannot scratch. An irritation that won't go away until the transformation's complete, or the body adjusts in full.

Timmy used to deal with frequent painful growths in his magic. He finds that exploding objects with his magic helps alleviate the pain somewhat. Or doing one of Jorgen's harsher military courses.

Not to get too autobiographic, but some of you clearly didn't watch "Velvet Goldmine" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" in your late teens to early twenties and made it your whole personality and it's showing. xD If I have to read one more post saying that Rockstar Lestat / "Long Face" is cringe… it's CAMP. On a more serious note, I have seen a lot of people worrying about how the tonal shift will work and...

Watch those two movies! I beg you! Ten times so if you're a queer person! They are incredibly good and especially Hedwig will give you a very good idea of where they seem to be going with the storytelling!

It's a framing device! Dubai had a vastly different tone from New Orleans/Paris and yet the overall tone worked perfectly! Why should this not work in the same way - just with a bit more fun! Some parts of Lestat's story are truly and deeply horrific, we need a balance and this will do the job so well!

The tonal change is part of the experience! This is the same whiplash every book reader had when going from IwtV to TLV. Enjoy and embrace it! To quote Lestat: Now we're having fuuuuuuuuun!
