☺️- a line that made you feel a fluffy happiness

Benji looks up at him. The sentence bursts from his mouth, glittering confetti over a shining sea. “Will you be my boyfriend?” His cheeks match the cotton pink of the sky, eyes absorbing all of the citrusy oranges and yellows.

Victor’s inner world gradiates with the sky, a spread of emotions from peace to utter turmoil. His heart catches at the yearning on Benji’s face.

“Of course I will,” he says, kissing Benji again. The evening is getting cold, the wind picking up, threatening to lift them off their feet as they tangle their lips. Victor wishes he could bottle this levity, a glass case stoppered with a sunset swear to return. 

Maybe someday, he can kiss Benji like this anywhere he wants.

(honestly there is so much from fresh hell that would work here but this is also one that made me laugh when i wrote it so it applies to the next question as well lmao)

“Well, it’s been real,” Benji says. He stands and returns the chair to its place.

Mia gives Victor a suspicious look through the screen. “Right, we’re interrupting something, aren’t we?”

“No, you’re not,” Victor insists, but from his bed where he’s flopped once again, Benji calls out, “I’m just a hole, sir!”

Victor’s face catches fire; he buries it in his hands to douse the heat. “I’m just gonna. Um.”

“Good night, boys!” Lake says, sounding amused. “Be safe.”

😂- a line that made you laugh out loud

(i skimmed through some of this fic because i remember there were some funny moments and this made me chuckle so!! plus this vampire!benji au deserves more love imo <3)

He combs his favorite young vampire forum—Fangs for the Memories, what a stupid name—to see if anybody has advice on how to keep hiding one’s vampirism from a significant other, but almost all of the advice is along the lines of: fuck it, turn them too, vampire love is sexy!

But this is so beyond out of the question it might as well be a different rhetorical sentence structure altogether.

hmmmmm. ok fun game now you have to guess which is which. i feel like “victor needs therapy” can apply to several things ive written. another one: “dying is sexy.” also “cookies solve everything.” (are these too obvious?? fun anyway maybe)

✏️- favorite part about writing

SO HARD. for fic writing in particular, interacting with and hearing from readers has always been one of the driving forces for me, aside from the fact that i just love to write. i also love putting my own personal spin on characters and pushing them beyond what we know about them from canon!! and i love language so finding opportunities to craft really beautiful descriptions and use strong imagery is also a highlight for me <3

Hey thank you for this! 👻- 2 or 3 sentences from something you haven’t posted yet From a future chapter of FWB... hehe... “I wanted to know how comfortable you are with uh… trying it out with me. More specifically, how willing you are to torture me sexually,” Benji says with a sly grin and a wiggle of his eyebrows. “Define ‘torture’,” Victor asks, skeptical. “Fine, maybe torture is a strong word… how does… inducing prolonged, intermittent pleasure on your super cute and willing boyfriend sound?” 😳- your scariest line From my Venji Halloween fic “The Thousand-Eyed Wraith”: “A mouth that shouldn’t be able to move… changing expressions freely.” 🎈- what’s a spoiler for a wip or series? Hmm... this one is tough. Basically I’m working on a Greek mythology/scifi/fantasy/steampunk story that I had originally planned to be a Venji story but decided to just make original work. So the spoiler is that at some point... one of them Dies (and the other pulls an Orpheus and Eurydice to bring him back). :D ✏️- favorite part about writing Good question again. I’m not sure bc there are many things tbh. I guess I just like being able to tell a story that people feel engaged with and being able to make them think tbh. This involves a lot of thinking and research on my part but basically even if it’s just in fic, I want people to go away with a little bit of a different way of looking at things or even just asking questions about things they didn’t think about before.  Thank you so much for these! :D

2. Anything that you'd like to write but feel like you're unable to? I think, as long as I’m willing to research a ton, I could write about pretty much anything but if something requires a ton of research it will always be daunting to me hehe 

8. How slow is a slow burn? I think for it to be a slow burn it has to be multi-chap (like 5+ chapters imo) or over 10k maybe? 

19. Share a snippet from a wip without giving any context for it. I’m so excited for this ask :P

21. Can you accurately predict how long your fics are going to be? If you can, what's your secret? I think I’m actually pretty good at predicting the length of my stuff! I do a ton of outlines and planning before I start writing so that definitely helps!

Just watched the “Love, Victor” Season 2 trailer and the line, “Queens before peens. Say the word and I’ll ditch these gays like a corporation after Pride Month.” feels like a joke Disney shouldn’t be making. They aren’t exactly known for being LGBT+ supportive 🤦‍♀️
