Alfa Romeo 1900 TI Coupé, 1954, by Pininfarina. The 1900 was a seminal model for Alfa, their first unibody car and the first to be built fully on a production line. Iginio Alessio, then general manager of Alfa Romeo, was concerned for the viability of the independent Italian Coachbuilding industry with the advent of the unibody chassis design.
