Alright I’ve been meaning to post these kids FOREVERRR and I’m just gonna do it now!!! Pls… have this little sunrise trio: Lux, Seraphine (Sera), and Cosmo! I love Lux a ton btw, and I always wanted to include her with any other Cream ship kids I made. I’ll put more rambles beneath the cut.

These kids aren’t tied to the cream comic btw, prolly goes without saying, but yeah. Their timeline follows this post-underverse storyline idea I have (the New Days tag, tho there isnt much there rn). Per ~the lore~, they are half elemental and half monster. The family is based out of a restored Xtale, in a house the king and queen gifted Cross and Dream for their wedding uwu

Lux (19, she/they)— The oldest daughter of Cross and Dream. She’s level-headed and relaxed, but still has a bit of cheekiness and mischief to her. A bit of a diplomat at heart, she currently has a small intern gig at the castle where she works as a liason for monsterkind, and doesn’t mind the thought of one day doing similar work in the multiverse for Xtale. She’s extremely studious and loves reading; even now she likes to spend the evening curled up to couch with a book, next to one of her dads. She’s got a serious knack for monster magic, and leans on it the most during sparring sessions. Her emotion abilities relate to feelings of calm and relaxation/rejuvination.

Seraphine (Sera) (16, she/her)— The spitfyre, the yapper, the forthright, Sera is athletic and very passionate. She has her dads’ strong senses of justice and fairness, as well as their stubbornness, and from a young age picked fights with bullies and authority alike. I’m not saying XUndyne has tossed a baby, but I’m also not saying XUndyne hasn’t tossed a baby. She never quite got a grasp on the diplomacy her older sister and Papa (Dream) have, but she does her best, and is a genuinely sunny and kind soul to be around. (It’s fine she’s 16 she’ll figure it out eventually). Her main mode of sparring is in swordplay, which she seriously began learning around 11. Her emotion abilities relate to feelings of justice.

Cosmo (10, he/him)— The youngest of the three, and the only son. Cosmo is very sweet and shy, and tends to be reserved in the kinds of activities he takes part in. He’s not the biggest fan of school, and really dislikes sparring, so Cross and Dream don’t force him too much. He looks up to his sisters and adores them, and it goes without saying that they spoil and baby him quite a bit. He likes spending his time in nature, and likes to keep a field journal with doodles and notes on his finds. All that said, he’s the most in tune with his elemetal powers, and already is a much stronger empath than Lux, a big reason for his overstimulation in social situations. His emotion abilities relate to inspiring hope in others.

Y'ALL I FINALLY FIGURED OUT JOHN DESIGN!!!! (<- lying. Will probably change it the next time I will draw him) ANYWAYS, I have thoughts about the choices I made with his design, so for rumbling, open up the cut. There are some additional doodles

So, I am a huge fan of "John changes design through the podcast", so here is a quick sketch of what each phase is, along with my additional thoughts) S1 (pre-episode 5) - John, who is still an Entity for now - a literal piece torn from KiY, with only eyes. Hides in Arthur's shadow

S1(post-episode 5) - John Doe, who is more aware of himself now and picked up a clock. It still less tangible form, more of a placeholder rather than something that he can call himself. Still hides in Arthur's shadow, but is now more proactive, in a way

S2 - John Doe, who is now aware that he is KiY and with that his reflection of himself changes. His cloak is bigger and he stands proudly behind Arthur. The way the cloak lays on the ground, it reminds of tentacles. While saying that he is no longer a KiY, some pieces still cling to him, now that he truly knows his nature.

S3-5 - John Doe, who is entirelly his own. Here it's becoming comlicated

The hood was taken by King in Yellow in episode 20, revealing how much John changed. He is no longer a piece, he is completely his own and King cannot fit him back.

The small crown appeared after S4 finale - he is now a true king of the Earth dimension, no longer fighting for control with Yellow. The crown is also something he renounces from his time in the Darkworld(and his kingdom there)

Clothes that were inspired by Arthur. I chose green colors because I remember one of the first posts I found on malevtumbler was a post about green being John's favorite color. I thought it was a really cool idea, so green clothes for John!

Small fireflies around John! This was something I took from my wip animatic of the last 10 minutes of episode 43. They appear after John comes back from Darkworld in S3, they don't produce any source of light but they act as an extension of John! They mostly just float around, but in S4 finale they come together to create a halo behind John's manifestation. In a way, they are remnants of what little of KiY power John has.

this is a really old wip, so there is a older version design of John that I had in mind, but the way Fireflights behave is still the same.

Some other additional thoughts I have

While I love John's creature designs, I also can't stop thinking about him taking things from Arthur. He took so much and Arthur kept giving more. In a way, his more humanoid form is a result of this exchange.

I am basing my Arthur design on my own cosplay that I did last year! With the exception of glasses and more curly hair. I didn't posted the cosplay here, but you can find it on Malevolent Cast twitter back somewhere in may.

My Hastur design is also more humanoid because I really love this idea of gods and mortals being essentially the same. Before separation, Hastur is a huge, abstract, creature-like god, but after separation, he is changed. And for a being who existed for billions of years, the mere idea of change is fucking terrifying. So along with John's changes, Hastur changes too, becoming similar to those he used to see as mere ants. Isn't that fun for him!

Yellow in S3 is basically John's design from S2, but with a little bit colder yellow color. In S4 he is back to his Hastur design BUT afterward, I have a small hc in my mind(and possibly au, comic to which you may never see, but regardless) that after the events of S4, Yellow managed to ditch Larson and now is restoring Carcosa AND along the way changing into this new version of Hastur. I even thought about giving him a new name, but I will keep it a secret for now. Here is a comparison of Yellow and John's designs

In the early mentioned AU, that happens post-canon, John design is also different, BUUUT that's spoilers and I do really wish to show more of this au. For now take those incoherent thoughts.

Progress Update: September 2024

Hello everyone! Yui Wrong here, to give you an update regarding the progress that's been made towards bringing Feel Less back from hiatus 💖

So! Soon it'll be 2 months since Feel Less went on hiatus. And on the one hand that kinda pisses me off bc I really really like publishing this webcomic and not doing it feels like I'm missing something important from my life 😭 on the other hand, I'm satisfied with the progress that's been made! Development of updates #37 and #38 has been steady, so I don't feel like I've wasted time. However, although I've been consistently making progress towards Feel Less's return, I feel like there's been some radio silence here in the blog, so I wanted to give you all an update about how things have been going ^^

For starters, lemme start with what I've been doing. Before doing any illustrations for the new updates, I decided to take a small break to practice my art style, as I was really unsatisfied with how my drawings were coming out. I focused on head shapes, as those felt inconsistent in my art. Here's a couple doodles I did in August for practice

I want to keep practicing, but I decided figuring out a consistent head shape was enough for now and got to work on the updates. And I'm glad I did! I do believe there's been some noticeable improvement in some pieces~ Like for example, take this old MG illustration compared to a WIP for update #38

I like both, but I'm especially happy with the 2nd one~

After practicing for a couple of weeks I went straight into planning out the next updates and got to work on the artwork. And the result was that... 29 illustrations in total would be needed for updates #37 and #38!!

That's. Too many. So while drawing I've also been cutting the plan down and deleting some superfluous panels. After trimming the excess, I ended up with a much more realistic... 27 panels!! There, now that's doable 🥰

I jest of course, but my point is that a lot of work needs to be done and I've been consistently going at it for the past 2 months. As of now, 9 of the illustrations have been fully completed. I also have 2 WIPS I'm currently working on, so that number will go up soon.

Does this mean it'll take 4 more months to get this done? Of course not! ...hopefully. Listen, I make no promises, but I'll try not to take too long. I value your time and am really grateful for your patience. Besides, I don't want people getting bored because I took too long to return from a cliffhanger. I'm not Andrew Hussie. My full time job and real life chores usually mean that I only have about an hour a day to work on art, but I have a couple plans to make production faster, such as cutting down some more planned panels and buying a keyboard that doesn't make noise. Why would a keyboard's noise be relevant? Well, it's not. I mean, I guess if I had that, I'd be able to draw while taking calls from work without my bosses noticing, as it wouldnt be picked my the microphone, and that'd give me an extra 10 hours a day to draw. But I won't do that, because that'd be irresponsible and unprofessional. So therefore, the keyboard is irrelevant. Forget I mentioned it.

Also, a point I imagine some people might be wondering: Why make it so long anyway? There's no one forcing me to have complicated scenes or almost 30 illustrations. It's my webcomic, I can do whatever I want. And taking a long break where I'm not even on break might sound like a dumb idea. However, for me, Feel Less is not just a webcomic I publish on my free time. I'd like it to be a showcase of the very best I can do at the point in time when an update is posted. From that perspective, it'd be dumb not to put effort into it. To compromise the quality of my works for the sake of following a schedule has never been something I've been a fan of. Now, I do want to be realistic, but also I don't want to feel like I'm giving up and just putting out whatever I can finish by my imaginary deadline. It's a delicate balance, but for these two updates in specific, I think quality should take precedence for a bit. My goal is for you guys to read them and go "oh, no wonder it took a while". At least for those 2, then we can go back to schedule.

Overall, my point is: progress is being made! It's currently all being done behind closed doors, so it might not be noticeable for you guys. But I promise, I haven't been twiddling my thumbs for these past 2 months! Maybe I should've, because my hands are quite cramped tbh. But no matter, art must be made! In the meantime, I'll leave you with a couple panels I've finished so you guys can see some of the work that's been done~

I'll continue updating you guys as time goes on~ If you want consistent updates, I've been dropping the number of finished panels on the discord server every time I'm done with one! Heroine series

Wanted to do something like a series of illustrations with all the charas, keeping it simple for my sanity... I'm happy to know I still remember most of the details of each of them, but I had to resort to my own references at some point. My stupid obsession with asymmetry...

btw these are available in my store as prints, not gonna update the store in a good while! Next time, I will post more like doodles I had in my WIP folder, I wanted to make a series of small design details(I even had them numbered by month, a project I had for my store where I designated characters for each month and I gifted freeb stickers depending of the month you ordered. I think I only drew Corvus, Gervase, Lois and Canaan... A strange mix I admit. Though the number is not because of the month, but the order they were created, or sorta. THW may have not seen the light completely but I still consider it my first legit VN)

Oh man, they are in different sizes I cannot unsee now...

Well! The thing was! I was going to accompany this with design notes like these ones (I do annotations of the clothes as well)

This was the plan for each month.

Some of them repeated bc they more likely are the most pop characters of each game.

Not sure if I will retake the sticker project, but I'm more inclined to complete the design notes one.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

35, currently, and only 1 is for a fandom other than The Lego Movie lmao

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

496,195 over the course of 6 years

3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

1- Reboot To be honest, I'm kind of baffled by this one. I started it just when covid was really starting to take off, lost where I was going with it before I was even halfway through writing it because I got SO swamped with work that writing was taken off the stove entirely for a while, and a lot of it was honestly just half-assed to get it finished but so many people LOVE it. I don't think I'll ever stop scratching my head about it, but at this point I've just accepted that it's my most popular fic ever. 2- Atonement Still ongoing and without a clear ending in mind yet. I had 2 ideas I was wanting to play with when I started it- wingfic, and house arrest. I've been having fun with it so far. 3- Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure This one was actually written based on a friend's doodles & half-finished ideas. I took them & ran with them as far as I could lol. I'm honestly happy that this one's in my top 5. 4- Hot Spring Another one that I'm kind of baffled by. It's a oneshot that's barely over 400 words. People like their coppernauts fluff, I guess lol 5- Time Travel Troubles This one was based on a prompt a friend gave me when I complained that I wanted so badly to write but had 0 ideas, lol. Of all my oneshots, I'm glad this one made it into my top 5.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Most of the time! Sometimes I can't think of a response though, and once I got overwhelmed with like 25 comments on one fic in one night from the same person so my brain kind of short-circuited lol. I definitely read and cherish every single one though.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I don't really do angst tbh, so none of my fics really have angsty endings.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

That's a tough one to pick, I always write happy endings. XD; I guess I'll go with Starting Over Again.

7. Do you write crossovers?

Sort of; honestly I think they'd qualify more as AUs than proper crossovers, but sometimes I just get bit by a bug to write all my favorite characters in some other media settings for shits & giggles. Murphy's Law (Skyrim), Space Shenanigans (Star Wars), The Stranger (Myst), Octan Nights (1001/Arabian Nights), and Hollow Heart (Beauty and the Beast)

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yeah, when I first started posting Murphy's Law on ff.net. Honestly it just made me laugh, it was so obviously some kid doing a shit job of being a troll.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I tried once. It was SO awful that I ended up deleting it and swore off ever trying again.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope. The fandom I'm in is pretty small so no one's bothered to translate any fics in it, at least as far as I know.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Oh, eons ago when I was still just a little baby birb. I wrote a pitiful attempt at an OoT fic with 2 of my cousins that never got far. All my works since have been solo.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Lord I have SO MANY. Think I'd pick Tech Support though (with a much better rewrite to boot, so no link for this one. If you want to read the atrocious original, you'll have to hunt it down yourself :P).

15. What are your writing strengths?

I'm told I'm pretty good with characterization. I'll choose to believe it. ;3

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Describing literally anything. I am terrible for just... not doing it. Which is something I REALLY need to work on if I really want to reach my 300k goal with The Umiran Amulet.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

There's only one language I can speak in any capacity, so I just stick with English. If it's something that's meant to be in another language, I just italicize it. Only every once in a blue moon will I use a word in another language, like if a character is swearing in their native tongue, and only if I'm absolutely 100% certain it's the right word.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Ocarina of Time. It was the fic I mentioned earlier that I wrote with my 2 cousins.

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

I don't really have any, at least at this time. I am very, VERY slow to move between fandoms & ships and am probably still going to be quite happily writing for TLM even when there's literally only 5 of us left lol.

20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I'd have to say The Atlantis Expedition, which was my first ever fic for the TLM fandom, and the first one I'd ever finished period. I have others that I love just as much, but this one will always have a special place in my heart.

WIP thing

Tbh I don't have a whole lot done of the next chap of my current WIP - in vain of wanting - butttt I do have a little snippet of something else I was working on a little earlier. Idk if I'm gonna post it or not (it's nowhere near done lol) but here ya go!

The sun is setting when Patroclus hears something small clink against his window. He’s got his music turned up, some rock band both he and Achilles have taken a liking to, echoing against the small walls of his bedroom while his textbooks lay open on his bed. He’s got a test in the next few days, and he figured he’d at least try to somewhat study for it. He glances up at his window briefly, the sun catching the sky in pinks and purples outside, but he doesn’t see anything. Back to the books, then. Who knew eighth grade English could be so boring? Rhetorical. He and Achilles were always bored to death during class. Even now, Patroclus has to resist doodling in the corner of his page. He flips it as the beat of the drums thumps through his speaker, and huffs amusingly at the dick Achilles had drawn yesterday without him noticing. Another ping, a bit louder, like someone was throwing rocks at his window. He glances up, frowning at his window now, and still nothing is there. He couldn’t be imagining it, could he? Another ping, and yes, that is definitely a rock. Or a pebble, or something. He gets up and opens the window to see Achilles down on the front lawn, a handful of pebbles in his hand with one leg swung over his bike. “Patroclus!” He whisper-shouts from down below. “Achilles?” Patroclus returns, at regular volume, sending his friend a look of bewilderment. “What are you doing?” Achilles’ hair has grown longer from when they were kids - Patroclus had just turned fourteen, Achilles having turned just a month earlier - and he has to push it back out of his face to look up at him, falling in cascades over his tanned shoulders. “Come down!” he calls. “No, I’ve got to study.” Achilles frowns at that, pouting. “Studying’s for losers. Come down, I want to go to the beach.” Patroclus glares at him at that. Studying is not for losers, thank you very much. “Is not,” he retorts, “and I don’t want to fail the test on Thursday.” Achilles gives him a look. “You’re not going to fail. You’ll probably ace it.” He doesn’t have any words for that - other than that Achilles is much more confident in Patroclus’ English-class skills than he is himself. “Not right now, Achilles. Maybe tomorrow.” Achilles huffs with frustration, pushing his hair back once again. “What if you brought your books down to the beach with us?” “And get them all sandy and wet? You know that’s a bad idea.” Besides, with Achilles there, Patroclus knows he won’t get any work done whatsoever. Achilles huffs again. “Come on. It’s so nice out!” He gestures wildly at the sky, now turning orange at the horizon. “You’d really waste such a nice evening on studying? When you could be down at the beach with me?”

He does want to go down to the beach with him, because literally anything sounds better than poring over English textbooks right now, especially on a warm night such as tonight. But… The test will be hard - their class was right at the end of the unit, and the more he thought about it, the more stressed he became. Achilles would always be right across the yard from him, waiting for mischief. The test, however, would not. He feels genuinely bad when he calls down, “I’m sorry, ‘Chilles, but not tonight. I seriously need to study. We can go to the beach tomorrow, if you want, okay?” Achilles’ face drops at that, his shoulders slumping in disappointment. “Seriously?” Oh, now that just makes him feel horrible, like something sliced through his gut. “I’ll see you tomorrow, alright?” Achilles doesn’t say anything back, only giving him a disappointed look from down below. Patroclus takes that as a yes, and gives him a half-smile before shutting his window and reluctantly retreating back to his textbooks. It’s not even a minute later when he hears another three pings against his window, following each other in rapid procession. He gets up and yanks his window open once again. “Cut it out, Achilles!” He doesn’t. “Come down!” The words are hissed through the air, accompanied by another barrage of pebbles, dinging against the glass window. “Stop it!” Patroclus hisses back, now becoming increasingly annoyed. “If you crack my window, my dad is going to kill me!” “So just come down so I don’t have to break your window!” “Why do you have to break my window at all?” “Just come down!” There is real anger in his words now, his eyes glaring, his cheeks red. It’s not a look Patroclus sees often, and hardly is it ever directed at him. It makes Patroclus pause, watching him from his window, because he knows now that something must be wrong. “Just…” Achilles hesitates, taking a deep breath. “Just come with me, okay? I wanted to show you something.” The rock music behind him is still playing, the song having switched during the whole exchange. His books are still waiting for him, open expectantly. He bites his lip - a nervous habit he hasn’t managed to get rid of yet. “Please?”

I've been in the fandom pretty much since FNAF first game out- its really my one and only special interest. If it has anything to do with FNAF, I'll probably lose my mind over it.

my FAVS are all the bunnies, but I specifically hold spring bonnie very close like a small critter <333

Pizza Party is my CHILD. It's pretty much just me doodling some slice of life stuff based in FNaF. The silly guys remain silly!!!!! There isn't much to do with the actual lore outside of relationships that people have to each other.

Hello! If you’re reading this it means you’ve found my blog! Just a few things before we get started that you should know about me and what I do here. 

I post about whatever cartoon is tickling my brain at the moment, and I flit between hyperfixations like I’m playing duck-duck-goose. Ed Edd n Eddy is the only fandom I have major projects in, but I partake in a lot of other fandoms too. So just know, if you follow me for one fandom, it’s bound to change.

I ramble a lot. I tend to voice my thoughts out loud randomly into the void that is tumblr just because I like to talk to whoever may be listening. If that’s not your thing, you may want to block the #torra rambles tag! Don’t worry, it won’t hurt my feelings. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and I want to do my best to make this blog enjoyable for all kinds of people.

My askbox is open, but I no longer take requests or answer head-canon related questions, but I’m happy to say hi. No Anons anymore, sorry.

Please keep in mind that I have a full-time job that takes up a majority of my time and energy, but in spite of that I’m working as hard as I can to bring these projects to life. At the moment I have a few serious projects that I’m working on: My fan-comic, “In the Ed,” my fanfiction, “In the Sky of a Million Stars” and my most recent venture is just my unnamed Torra AU where I unleash my weird furry self-insert/OC into the cul-de-sac like a lunatic because I can’t make normal human OC’s.

AAAAAAGH HAPPY BIRTHDAY

IM A BIT LATE TO THE PARTY BUT I HAVE COME WITH GIFTS ANYWAY!!! HERE ARE SOME SERENNEDY AND LUIS HEADCANONS FOR YOU GOOD SIR!!!:

- Leon was an Axe Body Spray type of dude before him and Luis became a couple. And I mean the type that over OVER uses the cheap mens body spray like its a shower in a can. Luis got him on the good stuff and taught him how to properly use fragrance when they got together, I HC a good cologne was one of Luis' first gifts to Leon. And Leon took small offense initially but inevitably ended up extremely grateful for it. Still uses a heavy hand with the fragrance tho out of habit.

- I also headcanon that Luis taught Leon how to dance, almost as sort of a trust exercise. We know Leon has trust issues and Luis is 100% the type who addresses those things with compassion and some unconventionality. Dancing with a partner requires a lot of trust in your partner and allowing oneself to kind of let loose.

- Leon has control of the aux cord like 80% of the time (oh no) and ended up getting Luis into late 90's early 2000's grunge.

- Luis definitely has a love for music in general. And he can definitely play guitar.

- I also HC that he LOVES singing. But isnt conventionally that good at it. He's never had any sort of like, professional practice. Pre-T he sung a lot but with T related voice changes he got out of practice and sort of fell out of it with the stresses of his life. Post Valdelobos, he picked it back up, and he really only did it for fun and to tease Leon. Leon is the type who gets second-hand embarassment easily and especially when hearing people sing badly around him. So, naturally, Luis sings a lot while doing tasks. Sings insults at him. Playfully serenades him and Leon pretends to be annoyed with it but actually just really likes hearing him sing and knows Luis will do it more if he pretends to be bothered.

-But, the longer he does this he actually does start to improve since he's actually getting practice. And I HC Luis' voice as being kind of raspy, the type of voice that cuts out on a lot of notes or words from lack of practice. And its always out of tune when he's messing around. But on the occasion he is really trying, his voice is soft while maintaining that sort raspiness and carries emotion really well. He's an excellent lullaby singer.

-Luis knows how to sew and tailor from maintaining his clothes, self taught purely for the sake of keeping the drip.

-THIS IS SO RANDOM BUT I HC HE ALSO USES SHOULDER PADDING?? and like if the clothes he gets dont come with it hES ADDING IT. IDK THAT JUST SEEMS VERY HIM.

WIT

behold, all art of wit i have including one i havent posted here bc i never actually finished it and the wip of him being a silly giggly boy. pls know i came up with him like MAYBE a month ago. two, tops.

SO wit is actually a what-if au of another oc of mine, his name is doodle. doodle (seen below) is a very robin-hood-esque oc, honorable thief and kindhearted, swashbuckler rogue that dual wields rapiers bc hes insane. but hes insane in like a normal way. he was a horrible child but he did grow out of it and its rare to see him w his hair down so pardon me making him look absurdly pretty in that one.

as you can see there are some (but not MANY) differences between the two. kid wit does have the starry hands/peets im just forgetful dont @ me about it djdjdj

ANYWAYS so the what-if of the au that wit is, essentially, little singular things didn't happen to people in that au world. it goes like so;

wit: never met his childhood best friend when he was a freshly injured orphan. was alone from the (elf) ages of 0-16. ended up studying magic (illusion wizard) since he didn't have someone to lean on for that sort of thing.

laika (wit's mom): never truly broke out of an archfey's madness curse. stuck with a very twisted version of the spell Tasha's Hideous Laughter burned into her mind. everything is funny and if it's scary? even funnier. she died briefly. shes back now, but still madnessed.

perseverance (wit's dad): never saved his mother from a death blow in the be-all end-all fight to save his home. was held back by someone who he thought was a friend, killed that person and then ultimately spiralled so hard that he became a lich. may or may not have accidentally killed laika.

something something one decision can change your whole life, me and my friend loved playing with that concept.

okay now that you know a lil lore/history i can dive into what wit is like.

as a kid (drawn with the short megafloofy hair) he's very mischievous and bastardly, almost always smiling or grinning but it's more to lean into the uncanny valley effect his eyes cause than out of any actual joy or anything. he doesn't Blink and he knows it unnerves people because he also has a freakishly high insight (i think its like a +9 or smth??? at level 9??). he loves to come up with fucked up spells, like. for example i saw a silly post on here the other day that was very jokingly having a wizard cast a spell of "10000 bricks until you die" but then i was immediately aware wit would (1) come up with that spell, make it functional, and have it unfortunately obliterate everyone that gets hit with it, and (2) he would call it Wit's Bricks which i think is fuckin funny. he would also come up with spells of like. cause heatstroke. boil all fluid in your body. FREEZE all fluid in your body. he's a little freak with extremely low empathy for those he isn't connected to with blood ties. that said, he's kind to his family (albeit very blunt and will call them out if theyre being stupid) and inquisitive. he DID look his dad in the eye when he met him for the first time and went "are you dead?" which. again, hilarious, but BRUTALLY blunt. he then called his dad cool because yes his dad is now a lich and therefore undead. he's a little freak but he's still a kid and that is ultimately his saving grace, what small child isn't a little freak.

as an adult (long ponytail) i get a feel of him being aro and using romance as a way to manipulate people. he's definitely still not a good person and far more stoic than he was as a child. also he most definitely maintains a constant illusion to make it seem like his eyes are always closed, which lends an air of mystery to the strange elf that seems to always be standing right behind every throne in every kingdom of faerun. i say this because i like to think he would become what's called a King's Wit, which is like a combo of royal advisor, court mage, and "guy the regent has insult other nobility since insults are beneath the reigning royal". he uses all of that to his advantage, gaining the ear and trust of every single person of noble blood that is part of any royal or ruling court, and he will bend and twist their choices so subtly that they won't realise he led them to ruin until it's already too late. which is his ultimate plan. he's STILL somewhat a robin hood style of character, but he takes it a bit further and with far less kindness to the nobility. he guts their coffers completely and every hoarded coin down to the last copper inevitably will land its way conveniently into the lap of the common folk. he does take a healthy chunk for himself - did you know being a wizard was EXPENSIVE in dnd btw? i didnt until i made wit - but most of it is for the local citizens. he does this everywhere he goes if he sees that it needs to happen. fucker topples kingdoms For Fun, because he never gets caught or credited with the ruin he leaves behind himself. he's awful. he probably still comes up with fucked up spells and he manipulates his way into wherever he wants to be. i love him.

RUBY

behold! @polterpumpkin drew my (not very) little guy for me! this is part of a greater set but this is the fully coloured one and arguably my fave bc it captures the absolute batshit energy ruby brings to the table.

ruby is a tiefling that was born in a lab. voluntarily, his parents participated in a sort of study that wanted to eval why it is tieflings could be born to non-tiefling parents. (both his parents are half-orcs, interestingly!) he participated in it up to a certain point, before he got sick of being poked and prodded and Watched. that's when he demanded to be released and, when he wasn't, both his parents helped him escape, unfortunately leaving his other two tiefling-born siblings behind in the process. both parents Died helping him escape, and he was embittered as is by the whole study bs, and then to have his parents die Saving him? it left him with this sort of hole he didn't know how to feel.

so he fills that hole with every vice he finds agreeable. he drinks, he fights, and he drinks again. he's a drunken monk, and one full of unbridled rage and a death wish. he isn't my happiest oc but he isn't my worst off (that would be talisman bloodhunter). he's constantly seeking a grand and worthy cause to die for, literally. he's a wannabe martyr, because he doesn't think he has anything to live for. no lovers, no friends, no allies, MAYBE a coworker or two on the occasion he's needed (he is so not needed most of the time, because it isn't often any job needs an angry monk tief to glare around the place). he has just those two sides to himself - party animal and underground drunk brawler - because he doesn't want to think about the pain underneath them both. he's tragic in a very human way, hilariously enough, but he's not a bad person. even if he's being dragged by the tail to do a job, he's ultimately going to be helpful and he ALWAYS keeps his team alive. he'll grumble about it but he'll do it, and if you thank him he brushes it off, muttering something or other about how it's just his job, don't Thank him for that. i think having a friend would Fix him but fuck if i know what would get past his thick skin 😔

i dont get to play or write ruby really, not for any specific reason other than the dnd games im in have been going for So long, and that i havent really been super inspired to write him. but i love him! literally my car is named after him! i have so many feelings for him and i hope one day i get to play/write him so he can be more fleshed out.

TH AU concept art

Something I doodled to form ideas for the Extramundane Apocalypse.

If you don't know what the Extramundane Apocalypse is: It's a horror alternate universe inspired by Pibby, where the TH monsters are gradually infected by a red virus that transforms them into mindless, smiling zombies caused by a dangerous entity. Initially, it's starts small, only affecting corpses and carcasses, but over time it becomes more severe and begins to distort reality, leading to the eventual collapse of Earth and if it doesn't stop, all of the universe(s). Blah blah blah blah, no spoilers lol. (At least that's my basic idea for it right now).

And it's on Wattpad! It is still a WIP though and there are only 2 parts, but I'm still working on more chapters and shit!

Also, fun fact: This AU has been through many changes and so many names, but I think Extramundane Apocalypse (EA for short), and the idea I have for the AU is the one. Also, this used to be two separate AUs, I already had a zombie apocalypse TH AU, but I decided to fuse them together into one AU because I think it'll make the AU far more interesting, and I thought it'll help make the AU more disturbing and gorey and stuff.

I may make and post more concept art or just general art of the AU if I have the chance!

✨Oui bonjour✨

Hi, hello. Please call me Lavender.

I'm a 20 year-old doodler with a fair amount of imagination but too much self-doubt to actually do or draw anything about it. I usually like to draw and play The Sims 4 on my potato laptop. When I feel like drawing myself/my persona, I give myself bunny ears, butterfly wings, and a giant frohawk.

As I'm writing these small introduction lines (12/28/2023), I believe that I'm doing awfully bad in terms of motivation and self-worth/esteem. I feel pessimistic towards my future and my art. I feel like burning every drawing I barely start and I only need myself to mock any idea I might have about my OCs or the universe I've been trying to build for years.

So, uh, what the heck am I even trying to accomplish here?

I think I've been building unnecessary pressure on my shoulders. So the goal here is to yeet that pressure out the window, because it's killing my joy to create, bit by bit. (I mean, I can't even relax when I play TS4 because I feel compelled to play the most perfect household with impeccable storytelling and arcs... and for what? talk about a useless perfectionnist.)

I'd like to be as transparent and as chill as possible with my art (and possibly myself), so I'll draw anything that comes to mind, without the pressure to make it look polished and ready on the first try. That's impossible and I need to take that false belief out of my head.

Expect WIPs, casual doodles, actually finished illustrations, and uuuuh maybe some random thoughts here and there, if I feel like it. I also have a giant list of things I'd like to draw or animate that's been sitting on my notes app for years now. I think I'll post it here so I can keep track of my progress on this blog, and so can you!
