Aside from the fact that I want you to imagine him however you like... If we're going by looks I fluctuate between Florence Welch and Tilda Swinton.

I mean...

They both have this ethereal androgynous vibe going on and have beautiful voices. Tilda does a wonderful job in every role she does. Her Gabriel shook my perception of gender to the core and the performance was absolutely haunting. Definitely did a number on 16 year old me when Constantine came out. And Florence... I've always loved her music and she features heavily in my BNA playlists. It's full of religious imagery of the judeo-christian variety. Only recently found out what she looked like and that, friends, is pretty damn close to the Enoch I see in my mind's eye. The way she carries herself and the fashion Choices(tm).

As for shoes/heels HMMM. Anything that's extra. Stilettos with straps, so they stay on. Sometimes gravity gets turned off in Enoch's office, and do you know how hard it is to swim after a wayward shoe? No thank you. Thigh high boots for the occasional Earthly visit.

i hate golden child Dick Grayson. everyone ignores how ANGRY this kid actually was. We rarely get accurate dick grayson, all the teen titans shows have been so off on his personality (you cannot tell me they accidentally made the character tim and realised halfway through wrong robin) and the fandom sees him as "oh everyone finds him attractive + he's Bruce's perfect angel and Jason hates him because of that"

why do we skim over that he KILLED THE JOKER. He didn't even know Jason; bruce was his father and he not only refused to kill the joker, interfered when someone else tried to but hit jason in the same way after he came back. His SON. whit as a character just isn't adding up for me. his reactions to things have been wrong up until now, or at least not as prominent as other characters. not necessarily saying he's a mastermind, or evil, or a david-chiem-type character, but i don't think he's who we think he id

whit has been shown to struggle to hold in his laughter in the middle of a class trial about the murder of one of his classmates, which is definitely an inappropriate reaction, but the fact that he's holding back a laugh at an unintentional joke shows that he isn't forcing amusement in the complete wrong situation. charles seems used to it by now to be honest, but uhhh idk

he's also become a fan favourite, being paired alongside charles as a good ship dynamic. understandably, whit has become a lovable character, serving (slaying) as some form of comic relief. but his reactions seriously give me a weird feeling. even if he's masking his emotions, to do it to this level, in this situation, feels wrong to me. it might just be a personal feeling about him, i do think he's funny and i like whit, but cmon man that is THE MOST SUSPICIOUS MAN IVE EVER SEEN

for example:

whit appears nonchalant after the gruelling, emotional class trial that him and his classmates have sat through for hours? hours game time and real time, i believe. whit is so casual here, and it bothers me - he doesn't look tired at all, worn out, he doesn't even seem to CARE.

more of whit's apathy:

this is the most concern i remember whit showing until this point, and it's directed towards charles. and not their classmate who has just been shot and is, like, violently bleeding out.. it's a bit inappropriate? he doesn't express shock about levi's sacrifice, he just seems to be anxious for charles.

this makes me wonder if whit is maybe more detached than other characters? sure he acts as a comedic character, but is he doing this deliberately? it's not making the mood better, no matter how much he tries, he should've figured that out by now. how is he capable of just keeping a mostly straight face (or, well, happy face) throughout two whole class trials? and an execution (one one so far)

then, there's the first instance of something extreme from whit:

im not sure what to interpret this emotion as. i initially took it as whit being utterly shocked, taken aback, maybe he has claustrophobia? looking into it more i still don't know what to think. he might be hateful, or having some sort of flashback or whatever, but whatever it is it looks dangerous.

this is more emotion than he shows towards xander's death, min's execution, arei's death, levi's sacrifice. and it's towards a locked door. that's why he could have claustrophobia, maybe some that's trauma-related. this could be explored further in the upcoming chapters if we're lucky. :)

Rewatched The Lost Boys again (at the theater this time, too! A theater near me is doing this six day vampire movie marathon, and I'll be going to 4 of the six).

And i noticed something else! (I'm actually going to mention more than the one thing but it's all closely related).

So, we all know about the "Max is the head vampire" double plot twist thing. And i really like that double plot twist because of some subtler details that show that whoever wrote the script really knows their vampire lore.

So, remember how Sam and the Frog brothers sort of test to see of Max is the head vampire at dinner with Lucy? That was actually when i figured out he was a vampire. The "he must not be the head vampire," "yes he is!" thing never worked on me. As soon as he asked Michael to invite him in, i was like, yep, he's a vampire. (The first time i watched the movie). That's one of those subtler details i mentioned.

Another thing I noticed the first time I watched the movie is that he does react to both the garlic and the holy water, he just plays off why. And i realize now that the holy water only hit him where he had clothes on so if his skin tore like Paul's does later in the movie, he could've hid it behind his clothes and by drawing attention to other stuff (which he did!).

Max also reacted to the garlic. Paul does say later on that garlic doesn't effect vampires which could be true but he also could have been lying.

Anyway, Max may have lied about why he reacted to both the garlic and the holy water but he definitely reacted.

The thing i only really noticed/understood earlier tonight was Max's non-reaction to the mirror. See, the reason vampire lore often says that vampires can't see their reflections is because old mirrors were backed with silver and silver is "pure" so it reacted negatively to vampires or whatever (i don't remember the exact explanation) and that's what kept them from seeing their reflections. And the mirror that Michael and Sam were standing in front of in that one scene was very obviously an antique mirror. Which means it was probably backed with silver! But not the newer, cheaper mirror they used for Max. Which is why there was no effect/reaction.

I Don't Get How People Can Ship DS! Drink and DS! Cream (Dream X Cross).

I just don't really get it. Like, how can they do that without bringing up the things that make up... ya know. Them as Individual Characters? I guess? It's like, everyone forgets that this is a DreamSwap AU of Dreamtale. Of the Undertale Multiverse characters. They don't have the same personalities as the "Original Goods".

It just... gives me a major ick? No. That's too strong of a word. But I just can't help but scrunch my face whenever I see them before scrolling past it because well, obviously, I don't have the right to stop people from their shipping. And I'm usually fine with AUs ver of DreamSwap because then, they're a whole new character.

But I really don't get why people don't include the fact that DS! Ink is entirely dependent on Dream's Aura. Basically needs and WANTS it to feel and function. DS! Ink can always use his "vials" but DS! Dream forbid it and not only that, I'm pretty sure it's more preferable to literal shocks that has been input in him to garner a type of emotion.

Like, I can see DS! Ink getting with DS! Dream, half because of his Aura and half because DS! Ink would want it. But will DS! Dream really get together with someone who basically... needs him in his life to be considered as a functional being? Like, won't DS! Dream notice the power imbalance between the two of them?

I don't doubt that if push comes to shove, DS! Ink will definitely not just lie down and submit to bullshit being pushed on him. DS! Ink isn't a pushover and he's not about to become one just because. But DS! Ink honestly feels... gullible? Thanks to the Aura that DS! Dream and DS! Nightmare have. (Maybe this is because my first introduction to DS! Ink is that one part where he got technically kidnapped by DS! Cross and DS! Nightmare and get confronted by them as like, I guess, a closure for DS! Cross? I don't remember but onebizarrekai was the one who wrote it so it's canon... I think.)

But DS! Ink is more.. malleable, easily influenced by DS! Dream and DS! Nightmare's Auras. Easily hurt too, if their auras are both released in DS! Ink's presence.

So I don't really get... why DS! Dream would ever get together, professional (mostly) Lord Von Licht getting together with his employee, someone who is directly works under him. Like, yeah, they're friends and DS! Ink's a sassy shithead but it's just... not something I can see DS! Dream knowingly doing without like, a very obvious struggle and denial?

They always jump into them reciprocating feelings without thinking about the power imbalance and shit.

DS! Dream and DS! Nightmare are different in that, if they ever somehow manage to get together, DS! Dream will be feeling heavy with guilt and trying so hard to make up for it. DS! Dream and DS! Blue are also ships that I'm fine with. Maybe it starts into something casual, benefiting with each other and such since Blue does like, agree with Justice Reigns' ideology. DS! Dream and DS! Error? Oh yeah, I'm also good with that, as they're two levelheaded individuals.

But DS! Dream and DS! Ink? No... like, touch up on the fact that parts first which they don't need to but like... :(

Also Do I Even Need To Explain Why I Don't Get DS! Dream and DS! Cross? Like, yeah, I definitely like Enemies to Lovers Trope but like, do not make them have crushes?? Make it tension not silly high school butterfly in my tummy tee-hee. DS! Cross is so stubborn and hotheaded despite the long way he came from like, dealing with his past and trauma (hate how I'm simplifying it ugh) that DS! In fereldan to start a business (forge) you need 5 gold and assuming that living in kirkwall is twice more expensive adjusting to that and adding profit you would need 25 gold to open a shop (again makes sense considering a massive investment is 50 gold)

So now adjusting that to the greedy ass employers and just general unfairness towards refugees and poor people

Dark town People would work 10s of years to even afford to live in low town so

A Fair pay per day would be 1 silver and 7 coppers

You would make approximately 4 gold a year and it would take 5 years to afford opning a business, hawke would have to work 10 years to afford the expedition investment.

But because people are shitty they pocket half of it so now Its 85 coppers if your boss is a decent guy and 50 coppers a day if your boss sucks ass

If if you got payed the "fair" 58 coppers a day for 6 days a week for 12 months

You would make as a poor refugee that got lucky and found a job thats not the local police or the anti magic army a whopping
