Ok so- what about a Royalty + Magic Shuggy AU? (+ Fem Buggy 'cause I love her)

In this AU, Shanks is a prince in the human world, while Buggy is a princesse in the magic world. They meet during their childhood while Buggy "accidentaly" (she just wanted to have a little adventure) goes to the human world, and the red head is enchanted by her uncommon blue hair and red nose. The two start to see each other regularly, but, they never tell each other they're royalty.

Shuggy were 7-8 when this happen, and their friendshipp ends up turning into a secret unofficial relatonship when they're 17. Everything is fine, until Shanks is named the King at the age of 18 and they fight (probably 'cause the richs initiated to intent to arrrange a marriage between Shanks and their daughters, and him kind of "don't do anything", while he does but don't have much/none result. Or Shanks ends up thinking she only wants money, because Buggy never accept shows up in front of the kingdom), leading to a break up.

Buggy is upset, really upset. She thinks about going back and telling the truth about her not being from his world, but then she see Shanks in a "date" with a girl (a daughter from some rich man), and thinks that actually he never loved her and just wanted the "emotion" from having a big secret. That now he is with someone he really loves (he isn't, he is regretting leting she go).

+10 years later, both were 29-30 and they never talk or even see each other again. Shanks only tells about Buggy to Benn and Mihawk (both don't believe it totally), while Buggy only tells her childhood best friends from the magic world, Alvida and Crocodile. She and Crocodile marry forced by their parents (but they don't mind. Yes, their marriage won't be with romantic love but at least they will be with someone they trusth).

Shanks, Benn and Mihawk, while going to a reunion in another kingdom, accidentaly go to the magic world after a accident in their ship. They are send to the king and queen, to be decided what do with them. Can think how much Shanks is surprised seeing the love of his life married?

Buggy decide to let them heal the injure before going back to the human world, and in the castle. She's confused, after more than 10 fucking years she's seeing her past lover?! And he's wanting to talk suddendly?!

Crocodile knows she never really moved on about Shanks, so even if this will make some fights with theirs parents, he's ready to divorce to her if she wants to marry Shanks (Crocodile may be serious but is a good friend).

Ok you covered a long timeline! I can tell you've thought about it for a bit.

Some of my thoughts if you don't mind...↓

I'd like to think that kid Buggy would escape to the human world as a break. A break from her duties and all the pampering. Yes, she lives being treated like a princess, but for a kid especially, it can be tiring. So maybe she travels with her own powers, or maybe a magic item. Though my favorite is if it's a type of tunnel or hole that she found, like in Alice in Wonderland or like in Coraline. The first time she crawled through with her big pompous dress and got it all dirty so she got scolded. From then on she learned to take a second pair of clothes before she crossed to the other world.

Shanks on the other hand, in my opinion, would be a very wild child. A bit like Luffy. So him stumbling onto the place where Buggy crosses from world to world seems very probable hahaha.

I think for Shanks it was love at first sight. He couldn't stop staring at her, he would think she was the most beautiful girl in the land. And the more he got to know her the deeper he fell in love with her. For Buggy it probably took at least a few months for her to develop a crush on him. After all, he's nice to her, he's fun and funny, he treats her like an equal and seems to like her too.

Shanks being with another girl is the ultimate betrayal. For Buggy, the one who has so many insecurities. Being replaced by the boy she gave her first kiss to? The one she wanted to get old with? Her best friend - the only one she thought could understand her, the only one she could trust?

When she marries Crocodile, she keeps complaining about Shanks. Always. Shanks this, Shanks that, even on their first wedding night - she flops onto the bed grumpily and starts talking about how she told explicitly that she didn't want that shade of red roses because they made her think of Shanks and the maids still put those exact ones. All Crocodile did was refrain from arguing and just thought about how good this marriage would be for the economy of both their kingdoms. With time they become good friends.

One day, Crocodile - in his study, hears the door slamming behind him to find his wife out of breath and red-faced. Before he could ask what was going on she told him "I- I just realized something... I..." she was ashamed and hesitant to say it "I think I still love him..."

Crocodile did his best not to roll his eyes.

She bites her lip and mutters another sentence that would make Crocodile's head spin "He uh... also he kinda followed me here... into our world..."

"He what!?" Crocodile dropped his inked-feather and almost fell off his chair.

OC introduction: Buggie (Twisted Wonderland)

Basics

Orville Becket, more known as just Buggie (he/they/it/bug/bugself) is an Octavinelle student based on Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas. It is the Motherfucker Ever. Also it’s somewhere on both the ace and aro spectrums, but still enjoys romantic relationships. They have described their gender as “mmmm bugs👍”

(Author’s note: I’m still very much learning about noun pronouns! I’m going to use the first three sets of pronouns for this intro for now.)

Buggie is… sure something from the Nightmare Realm. He just calls himself a nightmare creature and leaves it at that. No one knows exactly how old Buggie is, but… I mean, they’re a second year. He fuckimg hates all things school but is scarily good with potions.

Buggie’s maybe 5’9, little on the bigger side, but weighs like nothing? Pick it up and it will bite you. Anyway, Buggie doesn’t really do clubs, but does run a very legal gambling ring somewhere under NRC (and is the undefeated champion for completely legit reasons).

Hobbies, Talents, Preferences

Buggie enjoys cooking! They’re actually very good at making drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Makes yummy stew (don’t ask what’s in it). A lot of students are hesitant to eat whatever Buggie makes, but it’s probably one of the most competent cooks at NRC, up there with Jamil.

As expected, based on their name, Buggie also likes to take care of bugs. You will always find bugs on them or in their clothes… they have named every single one and remember each and every one of their names. They can also always tell each bug apart, no matter how similar they look. They can also communicate with these bugs as if they were people too. It’s kind of scary.

Buggie ALSO knows a little too much about nightmares. If you fall asleep near him, you WILL have very vivid and awful nightmares. Buggie cannot control this but will not apologize if he doesn’t consider you a friend.

He enjoys bugs, mostly. That and card/dice games. Challenge him to a game, I dare you. He’s unbeaten. His favourite snack is snake stew—no spiders tho. Least favourite food is any kind of salad. Bro won’t eat veggies if you force it down their throat. They also do NOT like it if you hurt their bugs… like… has a PHYSICAL reaction if you step on one. Do not the bugs.

Backstory

Buggie, being a creature from the Nightmare Realm, grew up with a VERY different set of rules than us. Even despite the difference in rules, I think we can all agree that Buggie’s parents SUCKED.

Buggie didn’t get SHIT growing up. No birthday celebrations, no “good job”s when it did good in school… nothin. It grew bitter from the neglect and ran away about a year before appearing at NRC. It wasn’t invited, but it’s here now. No one knows where exactly it came from or how it found itself here, but no one can get it to leave so it’s a student now.

He will not accept any gifts you try to give him. He doesn’t understand the concept of giving gifts to others… he lives off of a “take what you need to survive” mentality.

Unique Magic

Any time anyone asks about their unique magic, Buggie just laughs and responds with “wouldn’t you like to know, weather boy?”

Anyway. Incantation.

“Roll the dice,

Don’t think twice,

And pay the price;

Snake Eyes!”

You may hear it mutter this incantation under its breath during gambles.

Azul HATES Buggie… it never wears its uniform right and every time he points it out, Buggie changes something so it’s even worse. Buggie just finds it funny though.

Look, usually Buggie is the one making others scared, but Jade scares Buggie. Actually, there’s an AU where they get over their differences and become extremely close, but… yeah not generally the case.

Jamil Viper

Oh. Oh Jamil hates Buggie. Buggie just LOOOOVES dropping beetles down Jamil’s shirt. Jamil avoids Buggie like the plague.

(Day 28. Wonderland. Modern AU BUT WITH SOMETHING DIFFERENT NOW because some people indulge me.)

"How do we entertain three year olds?" Taron asked as they sat on the floor with the two little girls staring up at them. Noir and Luna sat unblinking at their parents' friends, the ones trusted to babysit their precious little ones, and Taron felt just a touch uneasy.

"Movies, toys, candy, things like that." Buggy said from his spot on the couch, flipping through the TV to find something fun for the girls to watch. There had to be some kind of kid friendly movie that wouldn't traumatize the little ones.

"How....about I get them some juice and you entertain them?" Taron suggested as they stood up."Yea, you know, I like that idea. Have fun."

Buggy watched them head to the kitchen before looking back at the TV. A colorful looking film popped up, one he recognized and must have watched at some point, right? It shouldn't be traumatizing for these two.

Taron came back from the kitchen ten minutes into the film. Buggy was already on the floor with the girls, watching the colorful film, just as transfixed at them.

"Alice in Wonderland?"

"It's fine." Buggy waved at them as they took a seat next to him. "It's not scary."

Taron shrugged and handed the sippy cups over to the girls before handing Buggy his own soda with a kid and straw. He looked offended at it but Taron held up their own.

"Kids knock everything over." They told him. "Croc would have us replace the entire rug in the downstairs if we got any sort of mess on it."

"Ugh, okay." He sighed and took a sip from the straw. Honestly it wasn't a bad idea because no sooner did he take a drink that Luna was dropping her own cup, but Buggy managed to catch it.

The girls were transfixed on the movie, the bright colors and music keeping their attention. It seemed like an okay choice until Alice met the Caterpillar and both were pointing excitedly at the TV screen.

"Dada!"

Taron and Buggy shared a look. Okay, maybe... There was some resemblance? They knew Crocodile stopped smoking his cigars in the house once Sunny was pregnant with the girls. She said he now did it on the back patio but the girls would wait at the door for him to come back inside, so maybe they assumed that the smoking caterpillar was like Croc based on that action?

Buggy took another sip of his drink, glancing at Taron as they leaned back on their hands to watch the movie. Was there going to be any other characters the girls saw?

For some reason, Alice crying and flooding the room had the girls calling out for their Mama, and when the White Rabbit rushed by, Noir grabbed Taron's hand and pointed at the screen.

"I-I am never late!" Taron insisted, looking offended that a three year old would think that. Buggy snickered and kissed them on the cheek.

"Are you offended by a toddler comparing you to a frantic rabbit, sweet cheeks?"

"No!" Taron hissed back.

"Shh!" The twins shushed them and Taron shut up, grumbling to themselves as Buggy laughed.

When the Cheshire Cat appeared, Luna grabbed Buggy's hand this time. He didn't appear too offended. The Cheshire Cat was cool, suave, sneaky, just like Buggy.

"How are you sneaky?" Taron asked. Buggy paused, he didn't realize he said all of that out loud.

"I... Surprised you for your birthday! We had a party, remember?"

Taron glanced at him. "You talk in your sleep sometimes. The entire week leading up to it you were boasting about how surprised I would be by this party."

Buggy's jaw dropped. Did he really ruin the surprise?!

"It's okay, I was surprised, sweetheart." They assured him with a grin. "You did a great job."

He let his head thump onto their shoulder as Noir climbed into Taron's lap to get comfortable. Luna saw what her sister did before deciding Buggy's lap would suffice. Taron glanced at their boyfriend but he didn't seem too bothered by it. He started to braid her hair as the movie played.

"Papapapapapa!"

Taron and Buggy weren't sure if the girls were talking about the March Hare or the Mad Hatter as they both excitedly pointed at the screen. Either way their excitement over seeing these characters was quite cute, and after Buggy finished braiding Luna's hair, Noir decided she wanted the same, squishing onto Buggy's lap next to her sister. He said nothing, doing the same for her as Taron took a photo with their phone.

"Who fell asleep first?" Sunny asked as Crocodile and Mihawk collected the girls as they lay fast asleep on top of Buggy. There had been a point in the film where the Walrus was singing that the girls got scared, so Buggy moved to the couch with them and covered them with a blanket. It didn't take much for him to fall asleep.

"Buggy." Taron told her as they went to wake him up. Sunny stopped them. "I fed them a little snack before they fell asleep on top of him."

"You two can stay the night if you want. I know it's late."

"Hm, that's not a bad idea." They said as they patted his cheek gently. "Sweetheart, we're off duty, we can crash in the guest room."

He frowned sleepily up at them, patting around on his chest for the girls before suddenly sitting up in a panic. Taron calmed him down, kissing his cheek as they pointed to Sunny. She looked pleased.

"Would you two want to babysit again?"

Honestly, it wasn't bad, and seeing how the girls were with Buggy and vice versa was cute. Taron looked at their sleepy boyfriend before nodding.

"I don't see why not." Taron agreed, helping Buggy up to his feet. "They were perfect little angels. No one was upset and Buggy took care of a lot of it."

"Thank you." Sunny smiled, watching Taron stand on his feet. He didn't want to be awake and slumped into his partner. "Well, go to bed. Croc said he already transferred the money to you."

Taron nodded and helped Buggy to the room. They had a change of clothes in there from the time they housesat for their friends and Sunny said to leave them behind in case they needed to stay the night. Taron helped Buggy into the sleep clothes before changing themselves, then helped him into bed.

"You're just like those kids." Taron sighed as he curled into them as he started to nod off again. "Totally dependent on someone doing things for you."

"Mhhm." Buggy wrapped his arms around them, burying his face into their chest as they reached up to run their fingers through his hair gently. He let out a content sigh as he dozed back off.

"Silly." They chuckled. "It's fine, though, because I love doing things for you." They kissed his forehead and made themselves comfortable. "... Just don't let the kids compare me to the White Rabbit ever again. I'm more like Alice's little cat who sits back and lets everything happen."

Buggy just mumbled sleepily.

I'm bored and can't get myself to work on any art so here's this.

I do have an idea for a rottmnt au, but have no idea if I'll do much with it. Guess it depends on how interested people will be. For now I want to get it out there cuz, personally, I think it's cool.

We're All Mad Here

It's based off my favorite fairytale, Alice In Wonderland with a splash of American Mcgee's Alice: Madness Returns. So, essentially it's going to be fun (at least for me) and dark. I love that game with all my heart, and I'm genuinely so sad we aren't getting a third instalment :( it's messed up what happened and I'm genuinely so sorry for the team.

For the cast. I had some ideas but unfortunately not every role has been filled.

First and foremost, out dear Alice. I immediately thought of the darling April O'Neil for this, hands down. I have some design ideas my head that I just haven't gotten down yet. So yes, it would've been April centric which (from what I've mostly seen) would be pretty different.

The Mad Hatter. Again, without even a thought, I thought of Michelangelo. We've all seen him. He can be absolutely unhinged. I wanted to use that to the absolute best of my ability and make an awesome character. And honestly he just gives me Mad Hatter energy, I can't really explain it.

The Cheshire Cat. This took a little bit of thought before I settled on Leonardo. So I would be going with, essentially, the blue version we got in the live action Alice In Wonderland movies and also the Alice: Madness game. Leo is cunning, a bit of a trickster. He fits with what I have in mind purrfectly... I'll see myself out.

The Queen Of Hearts/The Red Queen. I didn't really feel like I had to think much on this one, I went with Big Mama. Cuz like... Come on. Have you seen her??? Yes of course there's also her husband, the king, whose role would probably go to Splinter.

Of course there's still the remaining two brothers: Raphael and Donatello.

With Raph I thought at first to go with the March Hare/Thackery Earwicket. He's the best friend of the Mad Hatter, and of course, equally insane as him. But unfortunately I also thought of Donnie for this as well down the line. I love the Raph/Mikey and the Donnie/Mikey dynamics so much I wasn't sure which to choose. And I'd hate for either of them to get a minor part.

Of course there's also the Caterpillar, the White Queen and other characters to think about.

Why this?

Well..Why not? 🤷🏼 Honestly. And as I've stated prior, I feel in love with the story and concept when I was a kid. I watched the movies and fell in love even more. And with the game, it was the first one I really bought by myself haha. I felt so cool doing so. I saw it was an Alice inspired thing and immediately had to have it. Then I played it and my mind was blown.

The horror, psychological horror, the art style, the aspects of it... It holds near and dear to my heart still to this day. I mean, fucking hell I'm replaying it on my old PS3 (hang in there old girl don't catch on fire pls). I probably was a bit too young, considering the target audience of it, but still. I'm happy I was allowed to have that experience... No matter how buggy it was and still is 😅.

I think I mostly enjoyed the ability to escape into another world and be able to just... Leave this one for a while. I'm talking about the original story here lol.

Anyway one day I was just thinking and decided on this concept. I love the turtles and AIW. Putting those two concepts and medias together would definitely take a lot of time and planning but I pretty much have a basic layout of what I want. I just really need to have it physically wrote down lmao.

Everyone has such cool AUs and I kind of wanted to join in...? I know this probably won't blow up and get popular, and I'm okay with that. I just mostly enjoyed getting this idea out there. Trust me, I've had this in my pocket for a long while.

Would u ever consider doing a twisted wonderland Self aware Au?

i’d love to, but i never thought i’d be able to pull it off since i’m not too updated on the game. if i ever to decide to make it a proper au series on my blog, do expect a lot of canon divergence lmao

the concept is most endearing to me. imagine the way your favorite character says lines you don’t remember ever hearing before. your pulls get luckier and luckier until you’re pulling at least two SSR cards every few pulls. the amount of exp you get has increased by double as well.

it’s odd, you think. you brush it off because it’s not like you can contact the developers if you aren’t fluent in japanese. perhaps it was just because of a random bug in the event or lady luck finally smiling down upon you. the weirdest thing you’ll ever find is the glitched out and broken english between scenes, as if something was trying to help you understand. even then, you’ll chalk it up to buggy, work-in-progress english translations somehow making their way into the game.

you won’t even realize just what rabbit hole you jumped into until you open your eyes one day to the loud bickering of a duo you’re most certainly familiar with.
