mindlessly mine | jjk
your online class was going well…. until jungkook walked by
tw/description: ~1.2k words / fluff but a little bit suggestive (hints to lingerie and sex) / no smut except kissing and jk squeezes y/n’s boobs lol / but still, minors DNI - y/n’s class is either one for fun, further learning, or her bachelor’s or master’s degree / just a cute little fluff piece, I think we all need some fluffy comfort now and I'm working on other fluffs rn because of that <3 / hope you all enjoy and feedback is always welcome!
Everything on your desk was set up perfectly - you wouldn’t be able to work or focus on your class if it was a mess. But after rearranging the pens and highlighters, filing away documents, and taking out your trusty notebook and current favorite pen, you were ready for your online class.
The class was going really well so far, and most importantly, the teacher was lovely. So lovely in fact, that you already saw yourself forming a friendship with her as you bonded over the same interests and always logged onto the meeting a few minutes earlier than class was due to begin, just to talk.
Mid-conversation with her, you hear a humming behind you and sure enough, Jungkook was behind you with his headphones in, his phone by his mouth as he hummed a melody and sang a few words into it, walking straight into his adjoining studio with closed eyes, lost in the music he was creating.
“He seems sweet,” your teacher says through the screen when you turn back to face her. “And, oh, you’re obviously very happy, so I’m happy. Just don’t let it distract you from this course.”
“Don’t worry,” you smile. Minutes later, after your fellow students have joined the online meeting session, your class began.
---
It was nearing the end of your class, and your teacher was doing her regular roundup sessions that preceded the final bit of the class, her Q&A.
It was a great lesson but you couldn’t wait for it to end, feeling the weight and restriction of the headphones on your head. After Jungkook walked into his studio, you could hear the faint noise of his singing and the beats and melodies he was testing out. While you always enjoyed hearing him sing, it was distracting you when you needed to focus most, but it was nothing your pair of noise-canceling headphones couldn’t fix. And with that, you were immersed in the lesson.
You were so fascinated by today’s topic, with a million questions floating around in your brain. So concentrated on your teacher’s explanation. So focused on absorbing & understanding everything she laid out…..
That you didn’t notice Jungkook walking out of his studio until he appeared at your side and absentmindedly squeezed your breast without a single word before he walked out and into the main apartment.
For the entire. class. to. see.
He didn’t even notice you squirm at his touch before he walked out, his eyes glued to his phone, leaving you flustered and in shock on camera. And almost like the universe forced you to relive your embarrassment, your window on the meeting had a delay and got stuck on the image of you looking at Jungkook in horror - you turn off your mic and camera in a millisecond.
“JEON JUNGKOOK!”
“What?!,” he calls out, appearing at the door to the office seconds later.
“My camera was on,” you utter.
“What?”
“My camera. It was on. I was on Zoom. In class. With my video camera ON when you…squeezed me, JEON JUNGKOOOOOOOK!”, you wail.
Jungkook’s jaw drops for a moment before he bursts out into a quiet giggle. “Oops….” He grits his teeth. “Sorry.”
You wave him off, knowing you had to return to your class. You try to conceal your embarrassment when you turn your camera back on…. but you realize there was no hiding the redness that lingered on your cheeks.
The class had already gotten to the Q&A segment, and you had forgotten all the questions you had eagerly thought of the past hour, the embarrassment replaying itself repeatedly in your mind…. You couldn’t look at the other students, in fear you’d see one of them smirk, and you could barely comprehend their questions….but the end of one student’s comment almost woke you up from your daze. You reckon he asked about an assignment and meeting a deadline, but all you know is that his comment ended with “…It’s best we don’t get distracted this term… Right, Y/N?”
You bite your lip and stare at your keyboard in embarrassment, half-considering dropping out of the class, when you get a chat notification from your teacher.
“it’s alright. don’t worry about it. :)”
Reading her words, and catching a glimpse of the polaroid of you and Jungkook that you had taped to your desk, you feel your embarrassment transform into a weird mixture of anger and confidence in a second - you see the smirk that appeared on your face on-screen before you feel it, rolling your eyes before noticing that, now, it was the other student who was embarrassed.
“Yeah, well, I guess I’m lucky to have both a distraction and good grades, too,” you say, your back straighter and your voice more sure than shaky.
As soon as the class ended, you found Jungkook laying on the bed, looking up from his phone at the sight of you by the doorframe.
“I’m so sorry, baby,” he pleads, a sincere look on his face as he sits up over the blankets. “I was on my phone and I didn’t realize it was a class.”
“It’s alright, Jungkook,” you smile, brushing his hair with your fingers. “It’s embarrassing, yes, but you’re my favorite distraction. I realized I’m pretty lucky as fuck to have someone squeeze my boobs absentmindedly.”
“Oh!,” he raises his eyebrows, his hands finding your hips and pulling you closer. “Damn, I didn’t think you could get sexier but I like this confidence on you. Fuck yeah, let them all know you’re mine and I’m yours.”
You mimic him and raise your eyebrows back, kissing his forehead. “What’s so important on your phone, anyways? Working on a new song?”
“Yes,” he nods. “But that was before. Then when I was in the studio I just kept writing, and I kept thinking about you, because…. obviously, baby, you know you inspire me, and…. I got excited. Let’s just say I was looking for something….. special. For you to have a lot of fun in,” he winks.
“What type of song led you THERE?!”, you laugh.
“You’ll see…. Why do you think I squeezed you? I was thinking about how much fun I’ll have with you when you wear this thing I got you….”
“Jungkook, you always squeeze me absentmindedly.”
“Ah…. That’s true,” he says with a smirk, squeezing your hips and reaching up to kiss you on the lips. “But really babe, I just couldn’t stop thinking about you, and I got you something, it’ll be here tomorrow. Please wear it tomorrow night, I can’t wait any longer.”
“I wanna see.”
“Baby, it’s tomorrow! You really can’t wait to have me, can’t you?”
“I can have you tonight and tomorrow, can’t I?”, you graze his shoulders.
“F-….”, he looks away, trying to hide a smile. “I want to kiss you and pin you down on the bed so badly..... but I know the wait will make it more special.”
“You always do this….,” you whine.
“I’ll give you a hint. It’s as sexy as you are, and it’s as red as your cheeks can get.”
“Hmmm… okay. You always loved red on me, but I don’t know about that last part. You said it yourself, my confidence is growing. You’ll have to try harder to get me to blush,  Jeon Jungkook.”
“There’s always a way.”

So, I wanted to throw my 2 pence in about teaching Generation Alpha.
I’ve been a teacher in the UK for 6 years. My original form, the kids who saw me every morning, were Gen Z. 2023 was their last year in mainstream school and this year they’ve gone off to college or stayed at sixth form. This means I’ve been given a new form who are Gen Alpha.
The difference is pretty shocking. Remember that Gen Alpha counts for kids born in 2010 onwards so Gen Alpha is only just starting to come through secondary schools, with our first Y7 group of Gen Alpha only being last year.
These kids have way more emotional dysfunction. My new form is Gen Alpha and I am at the point where about half of them are almost incapable of controlling their emotions to the point of hitting each other, hitting themselves, being so anxious they can’t talk to teachers or other students, having fits of rage when given any sort of correction of their behaviour and complete denial of any sort of responsibility for their actions.
Now, they’re kids. Some maturing is needed. However, my Gen Z year group was no where near this emotionally deregulated at this stage in their lives. My Gen Alpha kids are obsessed with TikTok to the point of entering classrooms singing oft used noises from the app and screaming bloody murder when told to stop. I’ve got kids not only claiming they don’t read but they don’t watch movies because they’re too long. I’ve got kids bragging about breaking their controllers to their consoles and calling their parents ‘bitches’.
We actually got warned by a local feeder primary school that this year group were hell. They are extremely gossipy and horrible to each other. They copy language they’ve learnt online to insult each other that their parents don’t even know that their child knows. I was Head of Year for a few weeks whilst the original had surgery. I had to deal with calling parents to inform them their child was using language that the parents would swear up and down, their kid didn’t even know.
This is a terrible beginning to Gen Alpha. We normally would have about half of the kids with emotional dysfunction that this Gen Alpha year has in total. They are extremely ‘grown’ for their age, having grown up with unrestricted access to the internet where they copy adult behaviour without parent knowledge. Some of these kids are going to be excluded before the year is out which is practically unheard off for my school. Some of these kids are getting removed from 3 to 5 lessons a day because they are that distracting, in Y7. The general attitudes of those that are extremely emotional are that they should be able to do whatever they like without any adult impeding them. I’ve got young kids saying they’d rather sit for hours in detention than do something as simple as tuck their shirt in, turn up on time or even just not fucking rage like they’re playing a video game they just lost.
They are going to be nightmarish.

Multiamory March Day #7: Language
Fandom: Sense8 Relationship: Kala/Wolfgang/Rajan Rating: Mature Word count: ~700
Read on AO3 or
Rajan never thought he’d find the sound of German as hot as he did. He’d never had a reason to think he and his wife would have a German boyfriend either, so it was no wonder he still wasn’t accustomed to the rise and fall of pitch in his boyfriend’s voice when he was fucking him against the mattress.
Most of the time, Wolfgang spoke English around him. Sometimes he’d tease Rajan and Kala in Hindi, but it was short-lived and he seemed to go back to English effortlessly. On rare occasions, he’d slip into one of the languages spoken by the cluster when they visited. Most noticeable for Rajan though were the occasions when Wolfgang spoke German.
It wasn’t the big things, but the ease with which the words spilled from his lips always made him do a double take. And when Kala replied without a hitch in the same fashion, Rajan started paying attention.
Wolfgang used German for things that did not have an English equivalent, usually when he was watching one of his singing competitions, and he never expected an answer. Rajan could see that the man was still surprised when Kala replied in her accented German by the way his eyes opened up, his breath hitched, and the corners of his mouth curved upwards.
However, Wolfgang also spoke German when they were having sex and if Kala’s eyes were anything to go by, Wolfgang was filthy in bed. Don’t get him wrong, Wolfgang could be filthy in English as well, but Rajan was extremely curious as to what he was saying when he was blind with pleasure.
So, like any good boyfriend would, Rajan booked an online lesson the first chance he got.
At first, while they were still in France because of the threats to his family, Rajan hid his classes by passing them off as work meetings. Neither Kala nor Wolfgang interrupted him for the hour he spent trying to distinguish the difference between an S from an ẞ.
Eventually, they went back to India —Wolfgang didn’t have to be convinced to go with them— and it became harder to hide what he was doing. He had to take his lessons at the company: first, in his office; then, as interruptions became the norm, he took the lessons at a café near the building, sometimes having to excuse himself from lunch with his beloved partners because of it.
Rajan had always been a fast learner and in a couple of months, he managed to go from zero to ‘I understand very slow German’, so he decided to test his new knowledge one lazy Saturday morning. Kala had barely left the room to go to the bathroom and Rajan asked Wolfgang —in what he imagines is very basic German— what he would like for breakfast.
The man, still fighting the remnants of sleep, turned his head to look at him, “what did you say?”
Rajan asked in English, “what would you like for breakfast?”
“No, no, say it in German again,” he replied.
With an amused smile, he repeated himself one more time.
“I’m gonna suck you silly,” Wolfgang said, a soft smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
“That’s not on the breakfast menu.”
“Well, it should be,” Wolfgang replied. “When did you even learn that?”
Proud of himself for managing a simple sentence, Rajan continued in his choppy German, more confident in his knowledge than he was before, “I’ve been taking lessons.”
He didn’t have time to say anything else, as Wolfgang pulled him down by the front of his t-shirt and kissed him, hard and filthy, trapping his bottom lip between his teeth and biting down. Rajan moaned when Wolfgang’s hand slid to the back of his neck and gently tugged his hair, angling his head for a deeper kiss.
“I leave for three minutes and this is what happens,” Kala said from somewhere around his back.
Wolfgang let him go and said, “Rajan, can you ask Kala what you asked me?”
Smiling, Rajan said it again. Kala looked at him with a glint in her eye. “Since when do you speak German?”
“He’s been taking lessons,” relayed Wolfgang. Something in his tone made Rajan look at him again but all he could find in his eyes was kindness and the adoration usually reserved for Kala.
Kala, catching on something left unsaid, added, “well, are we having breakfast or not?”
Dropping a final kiss on Wolfgang’s lips, then a quick kiss on Kala’s cheek, Rajan stood up and made his way to the kitchen.
Before he was gone though, Wolfgang spoke up, “main tumse pyar kartha hoon.”
“Ich liebe dich auch, Wolfgang.”

Some more thoughts on AI art because God knows we need more of that...
I want to preface this by saying that if you have or are currently making art by prompting AI I wish you the best in your creative endeavors but hope I can make you consider the value of learning any skill that requires patience and dedication.
Learning a skill is hard, perhaps one of the hardest things anyone can do but here's a little tip: You do not need to 'master' anything to enjoy doing it.
I'd consider myself a fairly skilled artist, I can have an idea for a painting and complete it with some accuracy and style at least. It's taken many years to come to this point yes, but I would not consider my journey as an artist to be anywhere near an end.
In fact, I look forward to a year from now when I look back on the work I'm creating these days and realize how far I've come. Sure, there's days when I'm frustrated with how I'm lacking skill in certain areas or how I wish I could paint the way [artist] does but I know in time I'll get there and I also know that my art and my ideas and stories I want to tell aren't going to be told by anyone else, not in my unique voice.
It took a long time to build that mindset but that's why I write think pieces like this, to try and prompt people to start thinking in healthier ways about art and creativity rather than obsessing over how far they still have to go or things like attention online.
Back to AI, I assume this isn't the case for everyone but it seems pretty obvious to me that for a lot of people the appeal of AI is the ability to skip the cue, to skip right to getting the same amount of attention (and profit though trust me there isn't as much profit in art as you think at least not for most of us) as artists they admire. A lot of people don't want to admit this but it's pretty goddamn obvious.
I won't lie, I see very little value in doing anything solely for profit, so maybe I can't appeal to those of you who do. But for those of you who think more like me and see value in art by itself I'd like to say there is also value in failing at art or enjoying making humble art. Lessons to be learned that can be applied everywhere in life.
I learned this lesson through taking up guitar a few years ago. I got so far that I could strum along to and sing most Beatles songs and then I was happy. Maybe I'll never apply myself to guitar the same way I have art but that's fine.
There is nothing wrong with that...I do not need to master guitar for it to teach me something valuable.
I'm not lazy or lacking in energy I'm just happy to have fun and play songs for myself and my friends and family. I admire people who do decide to master it but that's not a part of my story at this point in life and that's A-OK.
If that's what your journey with painting or drawing looks like try and see the value that has for you. Don't use your time trying to defend something that disregards human creativity as something of the past, something that is built on the backs of real artists by taking work they put their lives into and spitting out a lifeless version of it, something that has caused artists so much fear and doubt...
Instead, put that time into creating, really creating, learning from the ground up like I did with guitar. Teach yourself if you don't have time or money for lessons (I taught myself to paint!), reach out to artists for resources.
My ask box is always open if you want recommendations for resources or even tutorials on how I do things! LMK if you are an absolute beginner and I'll adjust for that.
I would never turn anyone away from rejoining the human art community no matter how staunchly they supported AI.

Address: Brooklyn, New York, USA
Debbie Deane hails from a musical world without boundaries, where singer-songwriters and top-tier jazz musicians breathe the same creative air. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Debbie grew up listening to Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, and Steely Dan. As a teenager she explored the fertile ground of the Great American Songbook. Introduced to folk, funk and fusion by her older brother, she studied the great divas of the jazz and pop worlds developing an intense interest in jazz harmony. Music was the ultimate refuge.
After earning a degree in English Literature from Harvard, Debbie embarked on a career in music. She studied jazz intensively at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, honing the piano skills that she continues to display as a singer-songwriter. At first her songwriting and singing came as an afterthought, but then took center stage.
In her performing and recording life, Debbie had the good fortune to work with  acclaimed jazz musicians who share her interest in quality songwriting — people like drummer Brian Blade and the late, great bass player Jeff Andrews.  Moving back to Brooklyn, she lived in a ""jazz den"" with some of the city’s most promising jazz musicians, including saxophonists Seamus Blake and Terry Deane, drummer Marc Miralta and pianists John Stetch and George Colligan. ""Everyone came through our place,"" says Debbie. ""The people I’ve played with, they’re all my friends and they’ve known me, they’ve been my roommates and people I went to school with."" Their presence on Debbie’s recordings and at her live shows is a powerful endorsement.
Debbie continues to gig extensively in New York and beyond.
Piano Lessons:
Debbie Deane has been a piano teacher for over 20 years. She teaches out of her home in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, specializing in kids ages 6 and up.
She teaches the fundamentals and basics - scales, reading music, music theory, and playing by ear. Her students play a lot of songs. Each student is different, and she tailors lessons accordingly. As a result, she teaches all styles of music. She does have a soft spot for Bach and Beethoven, so everyone has to try classical, which is great for technique.

Story by Paula Erizanu. Edited by Eilish Hart.
The autonomous region of Gagauzia in southern Moldova is home to roughly 160,000 people. Also known as Gagauz Yeri, the region is mainly populated by Gagauz: a Turkic minority that is predominantly Orthodox Christian and, as a lasting consequence of Soviet hegemony, Russian speaking. Like the more famous breakaway region of Transnistria, Gagauzia declared itself independent in 1990 amid the USSR’s slow-motion collapse. And although it reintegrated with Moldova just four years later, Gagauzia’s relationship with the central government in Chișinău remains tense. In a dispatch for The Beet, Moldovan journalist Paula Erizanu reports on how this autonomous region, which was established to safeguard the Gagauz language and culture, has retained its Soviet-era Russification and Moscow’s political influence.
This article first appeared in The Beet, a new email dispatch from Meduza featuring original reporting on Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Sign up here to get our next issue delivered directly to your inbox.
As I arrive in Comrat, the capital of the autonomous Gagauz Yeri region in southern Moldova, I see a boutique near the bus station advertising consultancy services for getting Romanian citizenship — in Russian, the lingua franca of the region. Most of the ads posted on pillars around town offer job opportunities in the European Union.
Like all state institutions here, the town hall has three inscriptions, written in Gagauz, Romanian, and Russian (the region’s official languages). A granite monument out front informs passersby about a 250,000-euro ($245,000) EU project that created a tourist information office inside the multipurpose building. (The office is empty, as the person who runs it is on holiday, according to the person in charge of the legal consultancy office next door).
A 77-year-old woman is resting in the hallway. “How am I supposed to live on a 2,300-lei [$118 monthly] pension while prices are skyrocketing?” Vasilisa asks with tears in her eyes. The ongoing energy crisis and Russia’s war in Ukraine has led to an astonishing 34 percent inflation in Moldova.
Tumblr media
Lidia Ostaș, an energetic, 34-year-old woman working for Gagauzia’s education department and as a Romanian language teacher, arrives at the town hall to take me to a couple of trilingual kindergartens to observe the learning process there. I assist in two classes with children aged five to six, learning the days of the week in Romanian and Gagauz, respectively. The 20-minute lessons involve games, singing, and dancing to keep the children engaged, entertained, and learning. The kindergarten is mainly run in Russian, but children alternate Romanian and Gagauz language activities every day.
In theory, the trilingual kindergarten program has existed since 1994, when Moldova adopted a law granting Gagauzia autonomy. “But we had no materials to work with, and no method to guide us,” Lidia recalls. Since 2021, after a four-year pilot program, all 57 state kindergartens in Gagauzia now share the same curriculum and books based on modern teaching methods. The teachers I meet are passionate about their jobs and go beyond their textbooks: they look for nursery rhymes and games online, or even translate or write new ones themselves. “While this is much better than what we had before, we can only do so much if there's no linguistic environment for them to practice their skills,” Lidia explains.
Indeed, most people in Comrat speak to me in Russian and admit to knowing only a bit of Gagauz and even less Romanian, Moldova's official language. At her office in Gagauzia’s education department, even Lidia’s colleagues come to her for help with Romanian language documents destined for the capital, Chișinău. “There have been free programs to learn Romanian before, but they have to be complemented by career-progression incentives,” she says. “For instance, if you can't speak Romanian, maybe you shouldn't be allowed to become the head of a [public] institution.”
‘The kids speak Russian with their families’
Despite the region’s autonomous status, the Gagauz language seems to have been dying rather than flourishing since 1994. Lidia’s mother is also a kindergarten teacher in Congazcicul de Sus, a village near Comrat. “When she first started working during the Soviet era, all the kids spoke Gagauz at home and she had to teach them Russian from scratch — ‘this is how you say hand, eye,’” Lidia tells me. “Now, the kids speak Russian with their families and she has to teach them how to say ‘hand’ and ‘eye’ in Gagauz.”
In response to the deliberate Soviet policy of Russification, the Gagauz language underwent a revival during the Glasnost era. In the late 1980s, as Romanian speakers across Moldova reclaimed their language and culture, the Gagauz also advocated for a return to their own heritage. The Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University in Chișinău launched a popular Gagauz language degree program. But in 2005, after Comrat State University successfully fought for a monopoly over the study of Gagauz, the department was closed down. Today, Gagauz is only taught there as a Master’s degree for teachers of the language.
The Russian language’s dominance comes with political implications: it means Gagauz people consume more Russian than Moldovan media and tend to have pro-Kremlin political allegiances, despite the fact that most investment in local infrastructure comes from Chișinău, Turkey, and the European Union. “Our princess,” says one corner shop vendor, referring to Moldovan President Maia Sandu, “has gone to New York to ask for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Transnistria.” The breakaway region in Moldova’s east has had some 20,000 tons of Soviet ammunition and 1,500 Russian soldiers stationed there as “peacekeeping troops” since the Transnistria War in 1992. “But they have been there for 30 years, since we were one country, [the USSR],” the vendor adds.
Like Transnistria, but unlike the rest of Moldova, Gagauzia has preserved its Lenin statue in the center of Comrat, as well as its Soviet-era street names. Three years after Moldova gained independence from Moscow in 1991, the southern region was given autonomy following tensions and clashes between Chișinău and Comrat, which the Kremlin had fueled since the Soviet Union’s final years. (According to former MPs Ion Hadârcă and Alexandru Arseni, the last head of the USSR’s Supreme Soviet Anatoly Lukyanov threatened Moldova's officials with “two autonomies” if they didn't participate in the 1991 referendum, which would have legalized the 1940 Soviet annexation of present-day Moldova.)
Speaking at Comrat State University in September, President Sandu announced a 2023 Romanian language program for adults in Gagauzia. Later that same day, during a meeting at Gagauzia’s legislature, the representatives of the People’s Assembly asked her why she calls her native tongue Romanian rather than “Moldovan” (as the Soviets called it, to promote a new national identity, separate from Romania). They also asked why she wasn’t going to Moscow to negotiate cheaper gas prices — a question popularized by pro-Kremlin political parties in Moldova, in an attempt to blame Sandu’s administration for rising energy prices and the ensuing inflation. Gagauz and Moldovan media affiliated with pro-Russian parties presented the visit as a defeat for Sandu.
A couple of weeks later, the Turkish Parliamentary Speaker Mustafa Şentop came to Comrat. He encouraged Gagauz people to learn Romanian and condemned Russia's aggression towards Ukraine. The Gagauz government-affiliated press did not report on these statements.
‘I don’t want to lose my culture’
“In Gagauzia, all politicians are pro-Russian because Russia is financing these political projects. There is no pro-European political offer,” says journalistMihail Sirkeli, from the independent regional media portal nokta.md. (In Comrat, I counted at least four billboards advertising his Russian-language political show, The Cost of Freedom.)
Having Gagauz as a native tongue and speaking both Russian and Romanian fluently, Mihail argues that the solution is for political parties entering Gagauzia’s People’s Assembly to be subsidized by the state budget, just like the parties that make it into the national parliament in Chișinău. “We need autonomy for Gagauzia to represent Gagauz interests and help with regional socio-economic and cultural development, not in order to promote Kremlin interests and Soviet nostalgia,” he underscores. “But Gagauz people are currently not demanding this. They don't care about Gagauz language or history. Formally, we have three official languages in Gagauzia, but all the laws are adopted and published in Russian only.”
One man who does care deeply about Gagauz heritage is hip-hop artist and producer Vitalii Manjul. In the early 1990s, Vitalii discovered hip-hop on MTV and started rapping in Gagauz. “I was rapping about money, cars, authority. Now I try to use humor to speak about more important issues, like spirituality, love,” the 51-year-old tells me. For the past 15 years, Vitalii has also been collecting old Gagauz songs and reinterpreting them with modern R&B and pop elements. “Young people think these are new songs, but I tell them these lyrics are 100 years old,” he says.
In his mission to promote Gagauz culture among the new generations, Vitalii collaborates with other young singers at his Comrat studio, called Kolay. Kolay means “easy” in Gagauz, Vitalii, who is slowly transitioning from rap to reggae, explains. “I wish for there to be no war, no national misunderstanding, I want everything to be easy,” he says, alluding to his “Rastaman outlook to life.”
Vitalii declares himself a cosmopolitan with plenty of cultural influences from across the globe, but he still feels rooted in his Gagauz heritage. “I don't want to lose my culture,” he says. “Imagine if I forget my native tongue — who will I be?”

Raise Your Voice by Lea Baker offers expert vocal coaching, helping students discover their free, authentic, well produced voice.
- What I Do:
I help people find their freely produced, efficient and authentic voice. I love to teach and empower students. Each singer is different, there is no 'one size fits all'. My sessions involve lots of physical and vocal explorations, positive reinforcement and lots of encouragement.
Using actors' voice training techniques, I help singers find freedom through embodying their voice and releasing unhelpful tension.
I believe ‘trying harder’ nearly always leads to vocal difficulties. When vocalists discover the power and range of natural, organic and instinctive sounds, they grow in confidence and ease - often discovering the voice they didn’t know they had!
I help those who rely on their speaking voice for their profession, such as teachers, public speakers and call centre workers (to name a few!), avoid vocal fatigue, become more engaging to their listeners and maintain a healthy voice.
- What I Offer:
Success in learning depends on finding the right Instructor; someone who knows the subject well and understands how you learn. My teaching style is practical, holistic, non-gimmicky, and based on science. Students learn how to sing or speak optimally. Clear specific language and examples are used, leading students on a self-discovery journey.  Everyone has a voice. My job is to help you release its full potential.
Here are the four philosophies I follow:
* Trying harder will almost always lead to a deterioration in vocal improvement. It’s finding the ease in vocal use that is the key. Less is often more.
* The most freely produced and authentic singing or speaking comes from your natural, organic and instinctive voice. Often it's noticing and releasing unhelpful vocal habits & muscle tension to find that voice.
* I believe learning is about self-exploration and discovery, with guidance from your voice coach. Doing what the teacher asks to gain their approval isn’t learning.
* Training at NIDA opened up a whole new world. Using acting voice training helps singers to feel and sense their voice, rather than just hear it.
Why choose me?
* I help the student discover for themselves with guidance and targeted techniques.
* I take the time to understand the mindset of the student towards their voice and address this in my coaching.
* I teach holistically – I teach the whole person, not just their voice.
* Students get clear explanations of the ‘why’ when to comes to voice usage.
* My Teaching is underpinned by a good understanding of the science and physiology of the voice.
* Finding the unhelpful habits or traits of the student and helping them rewire these.
* Experiential learning is key, helping students to discover for themselves, no “pleasing the teacher”.
* Learning is layered. What each particular student needs at this particular time. I don’t clutter them up with lots of ‘nice to know’ stuff - it's not about how much I know, it's about what the student needs to be a better singer, speaker or performer.
* Voice lessons are either online or in person (Covid safe).

Our mission is to deliver the highest quality, most effective online singing lessons available. Your voice has the potential to be an amazing instrument. You don’t need to pack it in a bag, load it in a van, or worry about it falling offstage. The greatest instrument in the world is sitting right inside you. Want to know what it takes to improve your singing voice? Being able to sing is a beautiful gift, but many people misunderstand it and consider singing well out of their reach. Generally, people think that a broad vocal range or being pitch-perfect is something you are born with - piano teacher jobs near me.
We are going to let you in on a little secret: you can learn how to improve your singing voice. A beautiful voice is not a gift given to only a few. Breathtaking sounds, ideal vocal tones, perfect pitch, and strong vocal muscles aren’t always something you are born with. But they are something you can learn to build with practice. The art of learning how to sing and how to improve your singing voice is learning how to work with the tools you already have in your toolbox. Working to improve your singing voice takes a mix of ingredients: balance, coordination, and the right exercises. Practice does make perfect and it also takes time. Set up a nice space for a singing music studio - voice lessons san jose.
Imagine your vocal cord support as being the foundation on which you build a brilliant singing voice. Weak supports mean that a singer’s house will collapse under the weight. You can learn to strengthen your vocal support and sing better through breathing techniques, muscle and throat exercises, and consistent vocal practice. When the voice is working well, the vocal cords act as a breath regulator; and the voice is well-supported through the balance of pressure and resistance. Oh, Nochesvetka has called me out on FM #Iwriteso. ⠀ Question number one: in the day or the night? In the night. Or in the early morning. I generally love welcoming the dawn, not waking up to it, but not lying down. Usually it transitions. But when I write with co-authors, we write all the time we have free from outside contacts, the days with the night confuse, just drift off to sleep when we need to think. ⠀ Question number two: only by inspiration or by hard self-imposed compulsion? By inspiration only. By self-coercion, I can edit, systematize, smoke the materials, well, do tedious non-writing work. I only write by inspiration. And process literary work when the hero has spoken out and has fallen silent. ⠀ Question number three: in a train or in your personal library with candelabras? Well, now I already haven't an emonarcomanic attacks, it's experience, so now, of course, "in my personal library with candelabras", I've already arranged all sorts of writing places, a bunch of different-sized laptops, swings with a view to Dooghee and tables, a rocking chair (we stole it from the last apartment, well, not stole, we bought it, as a matter of fact!) everything everywhere is made for sitting down and working as a creative person (tm) from instagram or whatever other false images. Comfortable keyboards were bought for the laptops (I don't like these modern arthritic buttons). Now already if the hero comes in "train", I just listen to the scene, ask questions, compose it, sometimes make notes or with wild typos write in the notes of the phone or in a paper notebook (I always have one with me), write down strong phrases of a hero. Then I come to the "library with candelabra" and write down as it should be with author's accents, because I already have time to think what to highlight in a hero's story, so that it would not be a song of akin - mountain going through, mountain singing out (a Russian proverb about senseless longtelling).
Question number four: three words a day (but what words!) or 100500 letters?
I've already said sad thing about it. I need, I really want writing three words a day, at least. Because a day in which I have not written anything (fiction, because I can write 20 posts a day, but that's all trivia), I think that I have not done anything important for my life. For myself it is clear, for happiness - every day is important for me. Loved ones are near, communication with them, enjoying love - this is the meaning of life. But you know that feeling, "Well, I've been batting all day, I haven't done anything" - I always have that feeling if I haven't written at least three words. Even if I've done a lot of work, translated, finished, added something to the site, worked on work, finished scripts, made translations, edited something. All this doesn't matter. But I don't get three words. I can only get 100500. Because it pisses me off when there are some things hanging around that aren't done, but have to be done. Because you sit down to write and they'll jerk you around. And those piled up unnecessary to-dos are always there. So I envy those who manage to write three words at a time, but what words. I'd like to. But I can't yet. Maybe because it's polite. Well, for example, I don't reply to personal messages if I'm busy and can't talk to my interlocutor for a while. That's why sometimes people I know complain that they see that I'm online, responding to comments, but I don't look at my personal messages. I had to explain that a comment is non-waiting thing for a reply right now. I can leave a comment and run offline to do something. And if I post in private and a person responds right away, especially if that private is a person we're just chatting with, it's kind of weird to run away. So I first do something that doesn't require further attention, and then I come to chat. And it's the same with heroes, it's a conversation for me too. The hero is pouring out his heart to you, and you say - oh, I have a lesson, wait, you'll tell me about it later. heroes are already shy, they are embarrassed. That's why you wait until everyone is off with their business and then you sit down to write. So it turns out that I can only write 100500.
Join, who writes. It's interesting for me, to read about you
