How to fix Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf;

Motivation. Follows with the themes of BOTW when compared (hard times made everyone weaker, Ganie). An objectively shitty and evil philosophy that real people believe in. Actual conservative monarchists' behaviour.

Best of all, it lines up with pretty much everything he says for his own beliefs in TOTK, without compromising what little complexity he had from WW (I've never looked at TP Ganondorf dialogue and can't remember OoT), as far as I can tell. He comes so close to saying it multiple times before the writers sidestep with "SHADOWS! DARKNESS! DEMON KING! sacred_stone.mp3".

Captain Kinoko the Oni Pirate

A brief tangent on Japanese mythology: In the famous story of Momotaro the village where he is from is frequently raided by a marauding band of Oni from the Island of Oni. Though not specific to this story, in some versions their leader is the infamous Oni King Shuten Doji.

According to legend Shuten Doji was the child of a human woman and the many headed serpent Orochi. He was born with Teeth and Hair, was able to walk and talk at the level of a 5-6 year old, and had the strength of a 16 year old! He was a prodigy and yet he was still shunned, his mother told him he should be ashamed of his giftedness, and try to fit in with everybody else. At age 6 his mother abandoned him and he lived in a monastery with Buddhist Monks, where he underwent monk training but would sneak off with other less devout monks and drink Sake which was forbidden, and despite being just a child he was able to drink grown men under the table, but soon he was hated by everybody in the monastery. One day at a religious festival he got his hands on an Oni mask and decided to go around scaring people and making mischief while wearing the mask, but by daybreak he tried to take the mask off but it would not loosen or budge, it had become permanently fixed onto his face! He had acted so much like an Oni that he turned into one overnight and fled the village in fear no longer being able to be accepted by society, though he never was accepted by anybody anyway, now he just looked on the outside what everybody already thought of him.

Sometime in his many years of exile, Shuten Doji became the most powerful Oni in Japan who threatened the Emperor himself before eventually being slain by a Samurai.

According to recent studies of Japanese history and mythology, people are starting to see Oni in a new and more humanized light. Real Oni were not Demons and Ogres, but Outsiders: Foreigners, ethnic and religious minorities in Japan, and people who refused to submit to the imperial court or conform to traditional Imperial Japanese customs.

Electivire is partially based on the Oni, specifically the Thunder God in Shintoism Raijin and given it's shaggy Ape-like appearance it may also be based on a specific type of Oni called the Namahage who wear Masks and a straw cape. They are part of a New year's ritual where they would go door to door in groups of three asking if there are "any naughty children around" and scare kids into good behavior.

I imagine Captain Kinoko's backstory is basically the same as Shuten Doji, except instead of literally turning into an Oni he's just has the reputation of an Oni. He was Born a Prodigy, shamed for his giftedness, grew to resent conformity, and eventually decided if pokemon were going to hate him then why bother being anything but a monster.

ONI GODZILLA vs FALSE GOD GHIDORAH Finally! I've been working on this for months and now i managed to get it finished I hope y'all like it! This 'False God' King Ghidorah is meant to look like an immortal graceful Phoenix soaring the skies but up close you can see their true nature, full of fangs and ill intent Always coming back from the ashes to fight Godzilla once again Originally it was named Oni Ghidorah But I don't feel like that name fits at all, curved big tusks is not enough, and since i've been meaning to make a phoenix ghidorah I took this chance It's a very flamboyant design, with war-banner like wings, bird and snake features alike Oni Godzilla got some new changes, still the same base design from years back, but this time i added some wilderness to it, to really put the Oni in him His tail is a mace, and is now rocking some type of gold animal print on the arms

Yes, i do think the ninja have dressed up as their villains in the most ugliest costumes known to man.

Kai dressed up as Aspheera but he just ties a few long blue scarf around his waist and slaps on yellow eye contacts.

Jay dyes his hair white, slaps on the most nerdiest red clothes (Kai’s) and wears some red and dark blue makeup.

Nya wears three skirts with long backs that point in different directions, slaps an ugly crown Vania never liked, paints her skin purple, and calls it a day. She also buys a fake long moustache and sticks it on.

Zane wears all black and makes Pixal turn her led lights red. They look like a punk couple.

Cole tries to get Yang to turn him into a ghost again. When that didn’t work he convinced him to float headless next to him as he wear some of Wu’s old robes that he died black and got Skylor to give the broken staff that was once Chen’s.

Lloyd…just grows two arms. But then he decided hell no and wore a white wig and pink makeup. Harumi was not impressed (she reluctantly taught hum how to do the red face paint).

Wu decided to be funny and was the one who dressed up as Garmadon. Actual Garmadon was not impressed to find Wu wearing one of his old battle armours whilst wearing the same marking he has on his own face.
