His oni side and his dragon side are fighting inside over what ability he can have, the oni side says shapeshifting, while the dragon side says razor sharp instincts (cat instincts). They end up canceling each other out, leaving Lloyd with no sense of what a passable disguise is, and highly recognizable glowy green cat eyes

The fact that Lloyd sucks at disguises is already funny in and of itself, but you wanna know what makes it even funnier to me? The fact that Lloyd is like. Descended from shapeshifters. And canonically has the ability to shapeshift (despite only doing so exactly once). And you'd think the shapeshifter would be good at disguises, right? Nope! Doyll Donmagar time.

It's been 84 years since he's called him uncle

not a ninjago spoiler but so crazy how lloyd referred to wu as his uncle. sometimes i forget that in the context of the show its so strange

Wu: [in dragon] Oh shit

Lloyd swears, but never in any human language. Instead they kinda grumble and growl like a dragon. They learnt it because when they first moved in with the ninja Wu used to curse ALOT. He used to grumble and the rest of the ninja just thought it was normal and just somthing he did but Lloyd started picking up on it after awhile.

Misako can't speak in dragon but she understands a decent amount. She was not happy when Lloyd started copying Wu.

The family curse

Lloyd: I've done it. I've broken the family curse

Cole: Was breaking the curse to be the first lgbtqa member in a family of straights?

Lloyd: You've met my parents, right?

Jay: You've met his uncle, right?

Ninjago headcanon

Whenever Lloyd gets a new mech or vehicle, someone always sticks a "baby on board" sticker somewhere on it because he's the baby of the family.

It varies from person to person, but they all do it. And it annoys Lloyd every time because it takes forever to get the sticker off
