Engraçado como são sempre aqueles que amo que jogam meus maiores defeitos na minha cara, meus maiores medos, minhas inseguranças, talvez seja uma piada do universo.

"Você tem que se arrumar mais", "você age igual um menino", "você é uma mala sem alça e sem rodinha, difícil de carregar", "você me dá muito trabalho", "ela me dá muito trabalho", "você é maluca", "eu não sinto nada por você, "você se sabota", "você tem medo de entrar num relacionamento", "você tem medo de ter uma filha porque acha que ela vai te odiar como você odeia sua mãe", "você tem medo de ficar sozinha", "você se sente sozinha", "ela fala isso pra se auto afirmar, nem ela acredita nisso"...

Eu nunca gostei muito de mim, nunca fui feliz com o meu corpo, nunca me achei nada demais, nunca tive facilidade pra fazer amigos, nunca me achei bonita, nunca me senti parte de uma família, nunca me senti parte de nada, nunca me senti pertencente a um lugar, nunca me senti em casa. Nunca me senti interessante...

É verdade que talvez eu tenha me detestado a maior parte da minha vida, mas eu não chego a dizer que isso me causou infelicidade. Para falar a verdade, acho que nunca me importei, mas não deixa de ser "incômodo" ouvir de quem supostamente deveria ser gentil com a gente. Sempre tive a sensação de que dizer as coisas em voz alta as tornam muito mais reais, recentemente descobri que estava certa.

Talvez por isso eu sempre acabe afastando as pessoas de mim, ou me afastando delas, ainda que sem querer, como se algo aqui dentro soubesse que em algum momento elas vão me deixar, ou me expor, ou jogar as coisas na minha cara, ainda que não seja por mal...

Sabe o que é engraçado? No fundo eu sou uma pessoa horrível, eu sei que sou, eu sei ser absurdamente maldosa e ruim. Eu sinto isso aqui dentro, eu sei o estrago que sou capaz de fazer se eu desligar... e eu amo o estrago. Mas eu não desligo, por medo de todo mal que sei que sou capaz de causar.

Talvez minhas inseguranças sejam oriundas de todas as mentiras que ouvi ao longo dos anos, justamente de quem eu mais esperava honestidade. E no fim, eu sempre acabo confirmando que eventualmente todo mundo mente, ou omite, porque "não achou importante", porque "não era bem assim", porque "não era nada demais". Talvez realmente não seja nada demais, como talvez não seja nada demais expor minhas dores e traumas que, num respingo de confiança que me sobrava numa amizade, eu compartilhei.

Já deveria ter aprendido a lição. Talvez seja só uma piada do universo pra me mostrar que eu só acertei quando optei em não confiar, que eu devo desligar e ser a grande filha da puta que eu sei que posso ser. Talvez eu seja a piada. As vezes eu só queria desligar.

No fim de tudo, eu sou só uma alma perdida nadando em um aquário... e talvez eu nunca deixe de ser uma alma perdida, mas uma hora eu alcanço um oceano...

You know how in some ghost stories sometimes its not a person or a land that's haunted but the items?

Well what if, when looking for a mother's day gift for his mom, Danny is looking around a pawn shop and finds a necklace, it's missing some pearls but it's just enough to pass off as a decent gift. Danny humms but decides against it and goes to leave it....

That was until he gasped out blue frost and spots a ghostly woman appear out of the necklace with a somber smile. She isn't as seeable as the other ghosts in Amity though, meaning she doesn't have enough ectoplasm on her own (that might change the longer she's in Amity and around Danny though) and that right now only Danny can see her.

And Danny well... hes been doing his hero gig for a bit now, might go and ask if there was anything he can do to help.

And later Danny's good deed... bites him back. Oh boy. Because now he has the Bats looking into Amity Park... Wait what do you mean Martha is now strong enough to be seen?!

DPXDC Idea: Mother of Monsters Dan(yal)

Specifically Fem!Dan because I made this in mind with my Fem Danyal Au bUT. The best part about Dan is that I get to play dress up with her, and Fem Dark Dany is gonna go by Layal (pronounced lae-el) because it means "the nights" and it sounds similar to Danyal, and I think she'd choose that name to mock Dany. ANYWAYS

Mother of Monsters Danyal. She may be evil but she's an Al Ghul at her core (even with vlad's soul merged with hers - however, considering that Layal looks and sounds like Dany, she considers that soul to be the more dominant one.) and loves animals. And she might be heartless, but she adores the monsters of the infinite realms.

Mother of Monsters Layal who hates everyone but utterly dotes and adores on every manner of beast she comes across. Stealing the eggs and infant young beasts of the Infinite Realms to raise as her own because she wanted them. Her own island full of monsters, a monstrous menagerie of her own. She steals most often from poachers or exotic pet keepers and other menageries -- the full grown beasties can keep their young.

And with every monster she raises, she can shapeshift their features onto herself, allowing her to change her shape from humanish to any matter of monster or hybrid creature. She calls herself their mother, and them her children. Her precious little babies, capable of incredible mass destruction and mayhem.

From little griffins the size of kittens, to stymphalian vulture chicks, and leviathan young hatching from eggs the size of her pinkie, to creatures native of the ghost zone that didn't even have names in the living realm. There really wasn't a limit to what or who she would take in and she didn't limit herself to any form of mythology. If they were beasts and they were unwanted, she wanted them. And as such, amassed her own mini army of "children" willing to listen to her any command.

Earth doesn't know what hit it when she attacks them.

There are many monstrous forms she could take on, the first one I've thought of is a combination of various serpentine/reptilian features. The body of a naga -- her lower half long and serpentine, her upper still human -- with spiked fins connecting from the bottom of her arms to her sides, ever seen Sinbad where Eris goes "you might have seen my likeness on the temple walls" and her arms do that fin thingy? Same concept. Her hands are webbed and taloned, perfect for slicing through the skin of the living, and her teeth are needle-sharp and shark like. Her hair can either be spiny and feathery-like like the spines of a lionfish, or frilled like a frilled-neck lizard. It's perfect for dealing and doting on her reptilian and amphibian-inclined darlings.

I'm more of a fan of aus where Dan is a sibling of Danny's rather than their kid, so Layal's redemption(..?? probation?) proceeds with her legally becoming Danyal's "twin" sister, who had been lost to the foster system before the Fentons adopted Dany, and was only recently reunited with her. The two of them look so alike that the lie is easy to take root and spread.

Layal is very indignant to the fact that she's now ten years in the past and has to restart her menagerie all over again. Do you know how much blood and sweat went into raising those children? How dare you separate them from their mummy. Although she'll admit she does miss their juvenile years, so she won't mind (too much) needing to raising them again. Dany is helping her retrieve all of them though, dammit.

long story short: epic the musical's "Scylla" has a CHOKEHOLD on me and this is the result of it

Unlike her Dan counterpart, Layal's voice is dancing and sirenic. It's purposely alluring and motherly, in order to lure people into a false sense of security until she feeds them to her "children." Echidna doesn't have shit on her. She almost seems friendly and reasonable, until you get too close and realize it was all an act and she drops it to metaphorically swallow you whole. She's like an anglerfish that way. She and Dany both sound like Scylla from Epic.

Eu sou só uma alma perdida nadando num aquário...

Eu me lembro de deitar no tapete felpudo daquele apartamento do qual não me recordo o número, era no terceiro ou quarto andar? Já não sei. Um tapete limpo demais pra um apartamento como aquele, o apartamento em si era limpo demais, eu não entendia, mas nunca questionei. Meu esconderijo.

Eu sempre gostei da solidão, porque ninguém nunca entendia realmente o que se passava na minha cabeça e eu nunca tive paciência pra explicar o inexplicável. Sempre gostei de deitar no chão e fazer planos, como se o teto ou o céu fossem cadernos nos quais eu conseguia visualiza-los se concretizando.

Eu nunca soube muito bem o que eu queria, eu só me via sozinha, num apartamento pequeno, talvez naquele próprio, um cachorro que eu chamaria de Hendrix, talvez um gato, uma moto legal pra sumir de vez em quando, mas sempre na minha própria companhia. Ouvir música na vitrola enquanto cozinhava bebendo alguma coisa, parecia um bom plano.

Eu não sou boa com companhias, minha cabeça nunca foi um bom lugar pra se estar e é ainda mais difícil quando eu não posso apenas desligar. Nunca me senti parte de família nenhuma, talvez por isso sempre me conectei mais com pessoas que se sentiam da mesma forma, o anseio em comum de criar algo para pertencer, mas nunca pertenci a canto nenhum e me acostumei a ser só.

Perdi minha família em 2012. Hoje sei que foi melhor assim, eu sou péssima com crianças. Sou péssima comigo mesma pra falar a verdade. Sempre trocando um vício por outro pra anestesiar o vazio que habita aqui dentro. Mas confesso que as vezes queria deixar ele tomar conta, é tão simples como ele ignora as dores e traumas, como o silêncio impera quando eu desligo e nada nem ninguém tem importância. O problema é a sensação de “me bata, eu quero sentir alguma coisa” que o vazio sempre traz, ele não se satisfaz consigo mesmo.

Ainda que eu seja capaz de amar alguém, sempre duvido do amor alheio, quem seria capaz de amar essa coisa oca? Esse emaranhado de solidão e vícios? Talvez por isso eu duvide tanto. Eu já não sei se posso confiar na minha cabeça, conscientemente eu juro que acredito nos sentimentos e relações, mas meu subconsciente está sempre questionando a veracidade das coisas. Seria isso minha intuição? Seriam os traumas e inseguranças? Seriam os planos abandonados? Eu não sei distinguir.

Há dias que queria apenas tomar algo e ficar deitada no chão da sala, ou talvez num lençol no parque, apenas para ver os sonhos se concretizarem, ainda que apenas por algumas horas. Talvez eu não tenha nascido para compartilhar nada, a não ser a própria solidão comigo mesma.

Talvez eu realmente seja apenas uma alma perdida nadando num aquário...
