"a shark ate it." for some reason this genre of humor (making everyone else vaguely uncomfortable by joking about your disability/bringing it up on every occasion a la "the weather is homophobic because it's inconveniencing me") is my favorite fucking thing. god i hope it continues. i hope izzy tells everyone he meets a different story about how he lost the leg (fought a lobster, cannonball incident, cursed by a witch, "what do you mean? my leg's right h--OH MY GOD"). i hope he has a spreadsheet entitled "jokes i can make now that i only have one leg". he's completely deadpan and no one knows whether they're allowed to laugh or not. it's great.

tho also a thing that came to my mind it's kind of weird those 'swap' aus have a Solar of their own cuz they treat it like he's a dimension thing he is not tho he is a dimension alteration himself he's just a 'Good Eclipse' that moved worlds and changed identity no other universe should technically have one

this is not to jab at the writing or anything, god no these eps r just for funsies anyway, i do not expect them to put too much thought into a detail such as this just wanted to point it out cuz i feel like it kind of takes away from the extreme uniqueness of the character and what made them so interesting and great in the first place

New Wukong headcanon!

He is a huge plant nerd, in jttw he's canonically very smart and well studied under subodhi so he's already a nerd, but all that cranks up to 11 with plants.

He collects all sorts of plants from all over the place and sets up habits on his island to let them thrive and he just really enjoys tending to them and watching them grow and thrive, he is the same way with the plants already on the island.

He gets super excited when he notices the plants adapting to the island and changing and becoming something new. One of the coolest things about immortality is seeing plants evolve!

He just thinks they're neat.

He's the nerdiest plant dad ever.

He's also really shy about showing people his plants because he doesn't want anyone messing with them or making fun of him for it (it happened more when he was younger).

When he did show MK his plant hyperfixation, MK quickly clocked it in as very not neurotypical behavior.

Wukong is in fact, not neurotypical.

finally found the time to draw beckett :^) he's one of the first (sort of) successful test subjects of arasaka's serpent projects but he doesn't go there anymore. got adopted into vulture's mercenary roster instead and is now one of her bloodhounds :^)
