Freelance Inventor Part 2
Dedicated to @jimmysorsprinkles Thank you for enjoying my random dabbles. I saw that you wanted more Dads, Danny/Bruce, who are unknowingly co-parenting, so here it is! (set during the first prompt through the years of Danny just being a dad whenever he's home)
"I just don't know what to do," Bruce admits, watching Dick stomp about in tiny angry circles, muttering in his native tongue under his breath. He's been out there for about a half hour, doing laps in the yard. Danny knows he deliberately chose to do so under the window leading to Bruce's office.
The kid definitely wanted his guardian to know he was mad at him .
It was the fact Dick was unconsciously hunching his shoulders, curling his fist, and even raising his knee slightly higher than he needed for his stomps that were a nod to Bruce whenever the man was upset.
It seemed like Dick had picked up habits from Bruce during his short time here. If anything, Danny thought it rather cute if it weren't for the fact Dick was so upset.
"What happened?" He asked, standing beside Bruce, overlooking the pre-teen throwing a fit.
Bruce's frown is sharp and hinted with just the edge of uncertainty that anyone who didn't know him well would have dismissed. "He was being reckless in one of our extreme sports, and when I rightfully scolded him for it, he took it as me not trusting him."
Danny tilts his head, considering. It's been over three years since he became acquainted with the Waynes, and in that time- between his travels, his inventing, and his general desire to learn all he could in any way he could- he noticed that Dick was very quick to anger as a defensive mechanism.
This clashed horribly with Bruce's own mechanism- which was shutting down or at least emotionally wise. While Dick sneered and raged against the world, Bruce tried his best to forget he was human and detached himself from the situation.
Which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't feed into Dick's insecurities or Bruce's anxiety when they both reacted to adverse situations.
He has spoken to Jazz about it, and his sister has given him some advice that has helped him smooth things over with the young boy. Empathizing and paraphrasing the boy's issues was a big step in letting him feel heard and his feelings acknowledged.
For Bruce, he treated him like a ghost who had never seen a human. Plenty of ghosts were never human, were born in the ghost zone, or had been there for so long that they had forgotten what humans were like. Danny took time to explain why someone reacted the way they did- at least, why he thought so- and never made Bruce feel less for needing the help.
It was fun, in a way, to see Bruce's eyes lighten up with understanding and get him to talk about his rooted issues, but having to do so on carefully balanced tones and word choice. Phantom had so much practice de-escalating ghosts that it was a walk in the park with Bruce.
"I'll talk to him," Danny promised, leaning over to rest his hand on Bruce's shoulder and not batting an eye when the taller man landed down to rest his forehead on Danny's shoulder.
Where Bruce couldn't say in words, he yelled in his actions. It reminded him a bit of Wulf.
Bruce took a deep breath before nodding. "Thank you."
Danny hummed, reaching up to pet Bruce's hair like he would soothe Wulf, on days the werewolf would twitch too much at the door slamming, and suddenly his friend was mentally back in Walker's prison. "No problem. But, I will also be speaking to you later, and you are going to listen to Dick's side of the story without interrupting at dinner."
"Yes, Danny"
Alfred threw him an approving smile as he marched outside to meet Dick's rage-filled eyes and nervous hand twitching. He could catch the ending bits of whatever rant the boy was muttering.
"You're right. Bruce is an idiot sometimes." He starts grinning as the boy's eyes narrow further.
"You don't speak Romani."
"I may not understand what you're saying, but trust me, I feel it." Danny chirps, watching Dick's shoulder relax a little. " What did he do this time?"
"You won't even believe it!" Dick snaps, and then he's off, Danny keeping pace with him step by step as the boy works himself into another frenzy.
Later that night, Dick explained that he hated how Bruce made him feel so belittled and unimportant, his voice tight with a itch to fight, and Bruce carefully- with significant prompting from Danny- explained how he didn't mean it that way. He was only worried that he was about to watch Dick die in front of him, and he couldn't live through losing his family again.
Dick looked shocked to be considered family, and Danny swore he helped the boy sneak into Bruce's office, which so happened to have the adoption papers Bruce was hiding. Alfred gave him a large sample of pudding for dessert.
______________________________________________
"Hey, kid," Danny whispered, watching Jason tense up momentarily. It's not overly noticeable, but Danny has grown used to seeing little ghost blobs show emotions by how they twisted and twirled over the years, so he could tell what the slight tightening of the fingers around the book meant.
Anxious.
It would be understandable if Jason had been present for another one of Dick's and Bruce's explosive arguments. He came from a household that had an older male figure beat him whenever Willis got in a mood, so while he knew that Bruce or Dick would never hit him, Jason still tried to make himself scarce.
Jazz was the one to point out Jason's usage of escapism in the form of books to comfort himself, and so Danny took whatever time he could manage to read the same books as Jason while on his travels.
"What?" The boy grunted, voice soft but weary.
Danny sits across from him, making sure to stay in Jason's eyesight at all times. He had realized in only his second visit after meeting Jason that the boy did not like having someone too close in his space.
He grew up on the streets where being weary of older men kept him alive- Danny would never fault him for what he had to do to survive.
Unlike Dick, who was always down to talk about why he was upset if only to rant, Jason preferred to have a distraction. So he offers him a smile that he hopes projects You're safe with me and pulls out a book from his bag.
Jason's eyes light up at the cover. "I had some theories on Mr. Darcy being in love with Mr.Bingley before he met Elizabeth, and Bruce won't agree with me. Help me find citations as proof?"
"It's so obvious that he was, how can the old man not see that!" Jason snorts, tilting his head in a cute habit that he picked up from Dick. He really looks up to his big brother no matter how tense things can get.
Danny is glad he's gotten Dick to explain to Jason that he didn't hate him, but he was going through a lot, and Jason as a street kid, understood on some level.
"The old just hate listening to other people's suggestions even when we're right!." Jason leans over to read the book Danny places between them, considering Jane Austin's work while Danny files away the real reason he's upset with Bruce.
Later, after Jason and he present a bemused Bruce with a report on why Mr.Darcy is bi and had feelings for his best friend before meeting his wife, he tells Bruce to explain why he didn't consider Jason's suggestion in their extreme sport.
Jason goes to bed that night with a better answer than "because I said so," and Danny forces Bruce to go up to his room and re-read Pride and Prejudice to connect with his youngest.
Alfred offers them extra blankets and pillows since the two get so caught up reading to each other that Danny just decides sleeping in Bruce's bed is easier than walking down two wings to the guest rooms.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm not going to bed," Tim snapped when Danny knocked on his door. His fingers are flying over the keyboard of his computer, his little face glowing from the computer screen, and Danny is almost reminded of himself whenever he gets caught up in his work.
It may worry Bruce and Alfred, but Danny is a Fenton. He knows what it's like to have his brain run over time and sacrifice sleep or meals to get his ideas into the world.
His mother is the same, his father is the same, his sister is the same, and even Danny's clone is the same. It's fitting that the little boy he caught following Batmam around with a camera is the same since he all but forced Bruce to adopt him.
He hadn't meant to.
He had been testing an air purifier when he returned to Gotham since Bruce and the kids were out of state, and his ghost hearing picked up the sound of a camera click.
Imagine his surprise that when he turned to the roof opposite him, he found the tiny little face of an eleven-year-old staring back, holding a camera, and Batman swinging away in the distance. Danny became attached to Tim that night, even after he chased the boy down to ask if he was safe.
He did not like the implications of his parents always "working" while Tim ran amok in Gotham.
It took almost two weeks of following Tim around Gotham to help him with his photos before the boy allowed him to take him to Wayne Manor. It took three more before Bruce realized that Danny wouldn't allow Tim's parents to win him back, and together, they took the Drakes to court.
Danny has never been more grateful that Bruce was loaded with money and that his inventions gained him contacts in high places that wouldn't mind taking the Drakes down.
Tim was a lot like Bruce- where he shut down- but he needed people to be around him more. Sometimes just sitting in the same room- where Tim could glance up and see him- was enough for the boy to be at ease.
This was great for Bruce, who thought he didn't need to do much to make Tim happy- until Danny reminded him that Tim was a poor boy who was gutted for any form of parental approval.
He had to almost punch Bruce after overhearing him tell Tim he was proud of him, but there was room for improvement. Bruce meant it as helpful, constructive criticism, but Tim- whose parents all but drilled how useless he was- only heard criticism.
Only heard, he was not enough.
So now Tim was going, who knew how many hours without sleep, trying to fix whatever issue he thought he had caused. How a fourteen-year-old could have caused issues at his adoptive dad's multimillion-dollar company was beyond Danny, but it meant a lot to Tim, so he didn't need to understand it.
He just needed to respect it.
"Don't want you to," Danny grunts, throwing himself on Tim's queen-sized bed. "I just wanted to know if I could crash here. Bruce pissed me off."
Tim's fingers pause. "What did he do?"
"He tried to tell me how to handle my inventions' payment. I'm a freelancer! I know how to do that." Danny complains while twisting under the covers. Tim slowly turns around to look at him, but he acts like he doesn't notice. "I know he'll try to talk to me in the guest rooms, but he won't find me here. I just don't want to listen to another "I can do it better" lecture."
After a moment's pause, Tim admits. "He did the same to me and my team."
He means Cassie, Bart, and Conner. The little team of photography buddies Bruce introduced Tim back when they started homeschooling him. Dani suggested pulling Tim out of school is one of the best advice his clone ever gave him.
Tim took the pictures, Cassie and Conner modeled, and Bart made the clothes. Their work was slowly gaining traction online, and Tim seemed to glow whenever the Team was mentioned.
"Course he did." Danny sigh. He leans back into the pillow. "Know why he did it, too. Bruce doesn't want me to be taken advantage of, but it's hard not to hear him think I can't keep up, especially when my family is doing the same thing."
"Yeah," Tim's voice is soft. "It's frustrating that all your hard work is overshadowed or that everything you've done so far doesn't prove that you know you can."
Bingo. Danny discovered Tim's issue; now he just needs to bring it home.
"I know I'm great at what I do. You said so yourself- my past proves I am crazy good at work. I leave other people breathless in awe all the time. I can adapt and overcome so much faster than others. Bruce can see that, but he forgets to praise it." Danny huffs like he's trying not to be forgiving, and it causes a smile to unwillingly appear on Tim's face.
"I'll talk to him tomorrow but today I'm being petty and hiding. Thanks for letting me sleep here"
"You're welcome, Danny." Tim goes back to his typing, but only after a minute or two of Danny asking if he can turn off the light does the boy save his work and shut his computer down.
The room is plunged into darkness but Danny doesn't need the light to see how Tim sinks into his mattress. Tim is smart- crazy smart that every part of him that's Fenton crows with pride- and he can easily see through Danny.
"Thank you Danny" He doesn't say what for but he doesn't need to.
Danny reaches over, grabs the blankets, and makes sure they cover the small shoulder, tucking Tim in properly. "Any time kid"
The next morning, Bruce wakes them up with a powerpoint of all the things he thought were impressive about Tim and his team's last photo session. A powerpoint for Pete's sake.
But it makes Tim smile so much that Danny lets it slide. At least he listened when Danny chewed him out for forgetting to praise Tim.
Alfred offers Danny some of his private tea jars, which according to Dick, means Danny is in for life as Tim, Jason, and Bruce go over the PowerPoint again. Jason has begone to heal for his bitch of a mother's betrayal a few months ago.
Thankfully, Danny was in the area when he called and reminded the lady why she should not mess with Bruce's kids. Dani paying her a visit in her jail cell was just the Fentons' sending their regards.
(His dad gave Dani the ani-creep stick, and his mom hacked the cameras to loop. Jazz just watched hours of her to realize what made the woman scream and cry before sending the clone on her way. It was a good family bonding moment)
No one believed the woman claiming to be haunted that her son was Robin. Honestly, where on earth she got that idea Danny would never know.
His Jason, the sweet school-loving boy who graduated as valedictorian, running around punching criminals? Honestly, what was she going to claim next?
Bruce being Batman?!
Please.

Back home
Hey guyss, I wanted to write a story for Charles to celebrate his victory in Monza. I know this part is very reader x Arthur but let me know what you think and if you want more parts :)
You’ve known the Leclercs all your life. It’s hard not to when you’re their neighbour. With you and Arthur being the same age and going to the same class, you naturally became best friends, spending every moment together. From school to afternoons playing at each other's houses to accompanying his family to the track for their races, your lives were intertwined.
You grew up with them. You were there when Arthur won his first race, when Charles got into Formula 1, when you graduated high school. Your life has always been surrounded by the Leclercs, so it was almost inevitable that you’d fall for one of them—Charles.
It was evident to everyone. Even Arthur noticed, and he didn’t like it at all. He made you promise you would never date his brother. After all, how could he stand that when he was in love with you, even if you had no idea?
Your crush on Charles was just that—a crush, an infatuation, a dream. He was older than you and often had a different girl on his arm. You didn’t stand a chance, or so you thought.
Aside from your love dilemmas, everything seemed to be going okay, until one day, your father received a job offer that involved moving to Spain. Your life changed drastically from one day to the next. You spent your last night in Monaco with Arthur, savouring your final hours together before your departure.
The moon hung low over Monaco, casting a soft glow on the city. You and Arthur sat on the steps of the Leclercs' home, the cool night air surrounding you. It was quiet, the kind of silence that carries a weight of unspoken words.
"I can't believe you're leaving," Arthur said, his voice barely above a whisper.
"I can't either," you replied, looking down at your hands. "It all happened so fast. One moment, everything was normal, and the next, we're packing up our lives."
Arthur nodded, staring off into the distance. "It's not going to be the same without you here."
You felt a lump in your throat. "I'm going to miss you so much, Arthur. We've done everything together since we were kids. I don't know what I'm going to do without you."
He turned to look at you, his eyes soft but filled with something you couldn’t quite place. "You'll do great things. You always do. Spain…it's just a new adventure for you."
"But I don't want to go," you blurted out, the tears you had been holding back starting to spill over. "I want to stay here, with you, with everyone. I don’t want to leave my life behind."
Arthur reached out, wiping a tear from your cheek with his thumb. The touch was tender, lingering longer than usual. "Hey, don’t cry. We’ll still be friends, no matter where you are. You know that, right?"
You nodded, sniffling. "I know, but it's not the same."
He hesitated for a moment, as if battling with himself. "I just…I want you to know that…you mean a lot to me. More than you probably realize."
You gave a small, shaky laugh. "You mean a lot to me too, Arthur. You're my best friend."
He looked like he wanted to say something more, his mouth opening slightly before he closed it again, shaking his head. "Yeah…best friends."
For a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath. Arthur gazed at you, his eyes searching yours, and you thought you saw something flicker there—a brief, intense flash of emotion that was gone as quickly as it appeared. Before you could decipher it, he pulled you into a hug, holding you tightly against him.
"I'll always be here for you, no matter what," he murmured into your hair.
You nodded against his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. "And I'll always be here for you."
You stayed like that for a while, neither of you wanting to let go, until the sky began to lighten with the first signs of dawn. With a heavy heart, you pulled back, knowing it was time to go.
"Goodbye, Arthur," you whispered.
"Goodbye," he replied, his voice barely audible.
As you walked away, you missed the way he watched you, the way his hand reached out, almost as if he wanted to call you back, to tell you everything he’d been holding inside. But he didn’t. He let you go.
Years had passed since that night. You had spent the last four years in Spain, earning your degree and living a different life. But now, you were back in Monaco, ready to start your master's degree.
The airport buzzed with activity, a mix of tourists and locals rushing to their destinations. You walked through the arrival gate, scanning the crowd for a familiar face.
And there he was.
Arthur stood near the entrance, leaning against a pillar with his hands in his pockets, a smile spreading across his face as he spotted you. His hair was a bit longer, and he looked more mature, but his eyes still held that same warmth you remembered.
"Welcome back," he said, pulling you into a hug as you reached him.
"It's so good to see you!" you exclaimed, squeezing him tightly. "I've missed you."
"I've missed you too," he replied, his voice softer. He pulled back, looking you over. "Spain's been good to you. You look great."
"Thanks," you said, blushing slightly. "You look good too, Arthur. Really good."
He laughed, running a hand through his hair. "Thanks. It's been…different without you here."
You smiled, linking your arm through his as you started walking towards the exit. "Well, I'm back now. We have a lot of catching up to do."
As you talked, Arthur felt his heart swell with every word you said, every smile you gave. Seeing you again brought back all those feelings he’d tried so hard to bury. But he knew better than to show it. You still saw him as your best friend, nothing more. And after all this time, he didn’t want to risk ruining what you had.
"Yeah, we do," he agreed, keeping his voice light. "So, where to first? Home or food?"
You laughed. "Definitely food. I’m starving!"
Arthur chuckled, guiding you towards his car. "Food it is, then. I've got just the place in mind."
As he drove, he stole glances at you, soaking in every detail, every expression. He had never stopped loving you, even after all these years. But for now, he was content just having you back in his life, even if it was just as friends.
Because being near you, hearing your laugh, seeing your smile—that was enough. At least, for now.

Late Night Drive | J.JK
Summery: You and your boyfriend take a late night drive through the city where you met, it starts out with love, ends with a round of fuck and love. Paring: Jungkook x F!Reader | Est. Relationship Genre: Fanfiction, Romance | Fluff, Smut Word Count: 2.2k Warnings: Mentions of attempted r*pe. Boyfriend Jungkook. Making out. Smut. Sex. Unprotected Sex. N*pple play. I would say the smut part is quite vanilla. ‣ A/N: Sooo, Jungkook again. Finally finished this, it actually wasn't planned to be smut, but I got carried away, have you guys seen the new video from CK with Jungkook?! Jungkook in a tanktop is my new favorite, and omg I haven't even mentioned seven on the blog yet, but shit I'm dying. I'm working on something with seven, but you know me, I'm not sure when I'll be able to finish it, and it's a pretty big project, so we'll see what happens. Anyway enjoy the fic! (:
"Catch!" You yell to your boyfriend, throwing the keys to his black Mercedes. Jungkook caught them, standing on the other side of the car.
He looks from the keys in his hand to you opening the door to the passenger seat. He opens the door and asks "You don't wanna drive tonight?"
"Nah, I wanna admire the city and my beautiful boyfriend tonight." You say as you click yourself in. Jungkook smiles his cute bunny smile before he too clicks himself in.
When Jungkook turns the keys, the car comes to life with a roar. The lights in the car, LED purple and blue, turns on together with the roar.
He takes the car out of park mode and starts to drive out of the very filled parking lot.
The roads are lightened up by the streetlights in contrast to the parking lot which was completely dark, only the lights from your apartment's windows shined across the dark parking lot.
The leather seats in the car are reflecting purple and blue light onto Jungkooks face. He’s concentrated on the road giving you lots of time to admire him.
His hair newly washed still damp, the strands too reflected the lights. Both hands placed on the steering wheel, one cowered in tattoos. His legs clenching the faster he drives. His shirt hugging his strong figure.
His lips lifts in a smirk, he feels your eyes on him in a longer period of time. Jungkook has always loved your attention, you are one of the few were he doesn’t turn shy.
With you it’s confidence all the way, because he knows you, and loves you.
“Like what you see?” He asks all cocky.
“Nope not at all.” You say playfully making a small pout form on Jungkooks lips. It isn’t long though before he gets an idea.
His tatted hand slowly creeps down the steering wheel, over the gear lever, and over to your thigh where it rests comfortably.
A shiver goes over your spine as you feel Jungkook’s hand caress your thigh with utter love.
Unable to hide your smile you look out the window to the moving city, remembering all of the old memories you built with Jungkook.
Your first tattoo, the time you met each other’s parents, the day Jungkook asked you to be his partner.
One strong memory keeps popping up into your head, and you decide to share it with Jungkook as you think he never actually heard your feelings on the story.
“Do you know when I started loving you?” You ask quietly. He looks over at you, trying to catch your eyes, but you keep them on the moving city outside.
He gives you a soft squeeze with the hand on your thigh, and he sees how comfortable and content you seem in this moment. As if everything is just good right now. “No I don’t think I know that.”
“Well, do you remember our third date or something, that one were I thought it would’ve been a good idea for us to go to a club.” You ask looking back to Jungkook with anticipating eyes.
He gives you another squeeze, remembering exactly which night you’re referring to. “I would rather want to forget that night, but yea I do.” He manages to chuckle it out, not as much for his own sake as for yours.
That night had been a real nightmare for you. He gets shivers just thinking back to your trembling body walking out of the restroom with a dress torn in the side and mascara running down your face.
You ran into his arms that night even though you still didn’t know each other that well.
You explained how a guy had tried to do things to you while on the way to the restroom. He had almost succeeded before you got your hands in your pepper spray and you ran out of there.
Two minutes passed where Jungkook tried to calm not only you but also himself. How he wanted to smack that guy's face into the floor and kick him unconscious.
But he could sense that you needed something steady and strong in that moment, not someone who couldn’t control their anger. So he stood with you and hugged you.
“That night was both the worst and the best night ever.” You say. Jungkook looks at you with a frown not catching on to how it could’ve been a good night.
“I’m not following.” He says looking back to the road as one lonely car passes by.
You smile fiddling with your hands. “The moment the guy came running out from the restroom and walked up to us, I knew you wanted to fight him.” Jungkook clenches his jaw, hand tightens around the steering wheel.
This shows just how right you are, somewhere in his eyes there’s a look of regret, for not having punched the guy.
“Of course I wanted to fight him. I wanted to punch him so hard that he wouldn’t be able to walk again.” He says, and he gets surprised by your answer.
“I’m glad you didn’t.” You clear your throat and Jungkook looks over at you, your face like his illuminated in purple.
“I felt how angry you were, but you calmed yourself for me, do you have any idea how rare that is? I needed you to let him go, and you did. That made me feel so safe, you have no idea how good I felt in your arms when we got home. I never felt so at ease before, as if there was nothing in the world that could hurt me, because I had you.” He doesn’t know how to reply in this moment, he is speechless.
You can’t contain your emotions tonight, they shine on your face with every smile and breath. Especially the smile you have now is showing Jungkook more than anything else could.
“That’s how I still feel. I feel safe with you Jungkook, at home. And I very much believe that is how love feels. I started loving you in that moment, and never stopped.” You say.
Both of you watch as the light from the same club’s sign shine through your windows and adorns the car in turquoise blue.
Jungkook pulls over not too long after and turns to you with his whole body. Like he had seen emotions in your eyes, you see emotions in his.
The small unsheat tears at the corners of his eyes, and the lifted shape of his eyes from the smile he adorned.
To you he is as euphoric as the heart of a field filled with pink and white flowers.
He feels like the luckiest guy in the entire world sitting in front of you like this and showing his emotions without being scared of what you would think.
No words are needed between you two, the love for each other is evident for both of you. All that are needed is to let silence do its part and sit long enough for the emotions to lick up your body and embrace you in a warm hug.
It's you who makes the first move, crawling over the gear lever, and straddling Jungkooks lap. He smiles looking up at you and you wipe the tears in the corners of his eyes.
"I love you more than words could ever describe." He says and leans into your hands.
You bend down and kiss him, pressing your lips hard against his, just to try and show all the affection. Jungkook returns the kiss just as passionate as you, opening your mouth, and licking his way into your mouth.
You start grinding down into his lap, pressing against his dick. Jungkook moans into your mouth, loving the way you move on top of him. His hands wander down your sides and lay over your hips were he guides them.
You sit like that for quite a while, making out, Jungkooks dick grows hard under you and for every time your cunt presses against him you have to hold your moan.
Even with his small whispers that he wanted to hear you, and you shouldn't hold back with the sounds, you have to keep some in to not seem too desperate.
Suddenly Jungkook gets enough of your 'holding in your moan policy' and he stops you.
You whine quietly, but he shushes you as he starts leaning the seat back. When the seat is as leaned back as it can get he switches places and pulls his shirt over his head.
You almost drool, looking over his abs and feeling them over.
He smirks down at you as you too get rid of your shirt and your shorts, leaving you in only panties. You left the bra at home. He is over you in an instant, grabbing and twisting your nipples in between his fingers.
You're in bliss, Jungkook switches one of his hands out with his mouth, and the noise his sucking and licking makes is sinful, you don't even notice Jungkook getting rid of his own pants.
It's first when his bare thighs tangle against your own that you notice the lack of clothes from his side as well as yours.
From there it all seems to go a bit quicker, you getting rid of your underwear and Jungkooks his. He bends your legs up so your thighs are resting over you. He pumps himself a few times before he lines his cock up with your pussy entrance.
Your eyes meet, and again no words is needed as the love and sexual seduction shows itself.
It's almost as if your moan and Jungkooks groan harmonizes, both coming out equally loud as he pushes his dick into you.
You lay still for a few seconds as your pussy adapts to Jungkooks seize. He kisses you, and whispers sweet nothings between small kisses.
It's first when you tap his abdomen twice he starts to move, just like you had agreed.
He starts out slow, still letting you adapt to his seize, but slowly as your moans gets louder and the windows gets more fogged the pace quickens.
It doesn't take long before Jungkook is hammering into you, pulling the filthiest moans from your mouth, and making the seat beneath you squeak as if it's in pain.
Your wet sounds are not half as attractive as Jungkooks grunts and whimpers. His cock hitting into your g-spot, plus him whimpering with his whiniest voice "Fuck yea." is so filthy, so dirty and nasty that you feel your orgasm bulid up in turbo mode.
"Ah, Jungkook I'm so close." You whimper with closed eyes and tears in the brim. He looks down at your beautiful squinted face, sweat on your forehead as well as your inner knees were his grip is starting to slip.
His own sweat drips from his neck down to your neck where the two substances mixes. The windows are unable to be seen through.
"Fuck, ah!, you look so good, a mess all because of my dick. Are you gonna cum on my dick huh? Is that what you want? To milk it into your cum?" His words is as sinful as the car you're in, and you whimper a series of 'yes'.
Jungkook quickens the pace. If his pace was fast before this is rapid. It's almost animalistic how he grunts and fucks into you, even you feel how your walls clench harder around him. Your nails dig into his back, you don't scratch scared you'll actually scratch through his skin. "Oh- my- go- od, Jungkook!!" You manage to get out through each thrust.
Your orgasm hits you like a train, running all over you as your body spasm. Jungkook doesn't slow down, he keeps the same unforgiving pace through the whole of your orgasm. You feel used in the best way as your orgasm is over. Jungkook is still not finished, but you feel his dick twitch inside you.
You help him on the way, you have to make him cum so you can get a break. You do the thing Jungkook loves the most, and dirty talk to him. "Shit, my cum is all over you cock, it's on the seat. You're gonna get stained by my pussy juice when you drive." You say and Jungkook has to rest his head on you as he falls weak for your voice.
"You're covered in my cum kookie, you have to cover me too. Cum inside me baby. Paint my pussy white with your cum, kookie." You moan. It doesn't take long from there till Jungkook is loosing his grip and cumming into your tight pussy. "Fuuuuck! Yea, ah." He moans as his load shoots into you and mixes with your own sticky cum.
You almost get another orgasm just by how good it feels to get coated by Jungkook, how good it feels when his body takes over and he has no control of how he hammers into you.
When he is done he collapses on top of you, dick still wrapped in your warm walls. "I love you Y/N." He says as he feels your fingers run through his hair.
"And I love you Kookie." You say and smile as Jungkooks arms sneaks under you and he hugs you with his face nuzzled into your neck.
Shit, you love car drives with Jungkook.

Summary: After the winter break, Lando and Oscar get informed that they will get a new team photographer. However, despide being only 18 years old, the drivers are both impressed with her work. After meating her, Isabela immediately worms her way into their hearts.
All the relationships are platonic!!!
Part 2
“So, we believe that if we keep including fun games and other drivers, like Charles or Fernando, in our activities, our follower count will increase by 43 people per day,” concluded Charlotte, the head of McLaren’s Media team, with a confident smile.
It was the first day back from the winter break and the very first meeting of the 2024 season. The meeting room was bustling with energy and anticipation. Mechanics, PR personnel, factory workers, test drivers, managers, and more filled the space, eager to kick off the new season. Of course, the four most important people were Oscar, Lando, Andrea, and Zak, who sat at the front, ready to lead the charge.
“Ladies and gentlemen, you heard it. We have a promising outlook for the new season. To finally end your suffering, we wish you all the best and a good start to the new season,” joked Andrea, eliciting laughter and lightening the mood in the room.
Neither Lando nor Oscar could go far before Zak called them over. “Boys, Andrea, Charlotte, and I will need you for a few minutes. Please wait in meeting room C for us.” Before the drivers could ask their boss about this “secret” mini-meeting, he moved on to speak with one of the mechanics, leaving them curious.
“What do you think this is about?” asked Lando, walking with his teammate towards their destination. “I have no idea. Maybe one of us messed up on social media,” replied Oscar, seemingly unbothered by the private meeting.
After entering the room and waiting for a few minutes, the other three adults joined them. “Sorry for our tardiness, boys,” apologized Charlotte, always the considerate one. “No worries,” assured her Oscar.
“Boys, we have some big news for you,” began Andrea. “As you all know, Steve, our team photographer, and his wife were expecting a baby at the end of the season. During the winter break, Steven called me and informed me that it wouldn’t be possible for him to continue his job as our team photographer,” continued Charlotte.
Charlotte went on, “He said that he wanted to be a part of his daughter’s life as much as possible, and having to travel a lot during the year is neither helpful for his wife nor something he desires. So, we came to the conclusion that Steven would become the new McLaren factory photographer, you know, to give our fans some behind-the-scenes insights.”
“This means we were put in a position to find a new team photographer. Someone who isn’t bound to one place,” added Zak. He shared a relieved smile with Andrea before turning his attention to the drivers. At this point, both racers were sitting on the edge of their seats.
“Her name is Isabela Ferreira. She is a lovely young woman from Brazil, and her work is incredible,” Charlotte said, handing out folders containing samples of Isabela’s past work. “Wow, these look really good,” muttered Oscar. Both he and Lando wore impressed expressions.
“Not only is she a pro with the camera, as you can see for yourselves, but Steven also approved her work. In fact, he was the one who recommended her to us. To be honest, without his recommendation, we probably wouldn’t have hired her,” said Andrea.
Lando’s eyebrows furrowed. “Wait, what do you mean by that?” he asked, glancing at Oscar, who shared the same puzzled look. The three adults exchanged glances, silently agreeing to be open with the drivers.
“Well, even though her work is phenomenal, she is still very young,” started Zak hesitantly. “She turned 18 a few days ago, which makes her the youngest member of the team,” he continued. Both racers had surprised expressions. “But that means she’s still a baby,” stated Lando. Both drivers were trying to absorb this new information. All in all, it wasn’t actually a big problem for the team to employ someone so young; it was just unusual in the Formula 1 world. Typically, people started working for the teams at 24, drivers excluded.
Zak continued, “We understand that her age might raise some eyebrows, but we believe in her talent and potential. Steven’s endorsement was a significant factor in our decision. We are confident that Isabela will bring a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to our team.”
Andrea added, “We also plan to provide her with all the support she needs to succeed. She will be working closely with our experienced staff, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for her.”
Oscar, always the pragmatic one, asked, “What about her travel arrangements? Will she be able to handle the rigorous schedule?”
Charlotte responded, “We’ve already discussed this with her, and she’s fully aware of the demands of the job. Isabela is excited about the opportunity and ready to embrace the challenges. We will also make sure she has the necessary resources and support to manage her responsibilities effectively.”
Lando, still processing the news, said, “Well, if Steven believes in her, that’s good enough for me. I’m looking forward to working with her.”
Oscar nodded in agreement, “Same here. It’s going to be interesting to see her in action.”
Zak smiled, “That’s the spirit, boys. Let’s give her a warm welcome and make sure she feels at home with us.”
“Look, we know this is a surprise for both of you. Trust us, we were surprised as well. But that doesn’t change the fact that she has incredible talent. We just wanted you both to be prepared for when you meet her,” reiterated Zak, his tone serious yet reassuring.
After a moment of silence, Charlotte continued, “Let’s be honest. She is an 18-year-old girl, very far away from home. She doesn’t know anyone here and will be working closely with both of you most of the time. We ask you, no, we three ask you, to keep an eye on her. This is something completely new for her, and she will need support and reassurance from us. And let me tell you, she truly is a ray of sunshine. Trust me, you’ll fall in love with her the minute you meet her.”
“It’s true,” confirmed Andrea. “She walked in here with the biggest smile anyone has ever seen,” eliciting chuckles from those in the room. “Well then, I guess it’s time we finally meet this lovely girl,” stated Oscar. Charlotte let out a relieved smile before beckoning the drivers to follow her. “She’s currently at the practice track, trying out some new lenses. Oh, I can already see it. The three of you will cause chaos around the paddock,” she smiled like a proud mother. Behind her back, the papaya boys shared an amused smile.
As they walked towards the practice track, Lando and Oscar exchanged curious glances. “I wonder what she’s like,” mused Lando. “If she’s as good as they say, we’re in for a treat,” replied Oscar.
When they arrived at the track, they saw a young woman with a camera, intently focused on capturing the perfect shot. Her concentration was palpable, and her passion for her work was evident. Charlotte called out to her, “Isabela, come meet the team!”
Isabela turned around, her face lighting up with a bright smile. She approached them with a confident stride, her camera still in hand. “Hi, I’m Isabela. It’s so nice to meet you all,” she said, her voice warm and friendly.
Lando and Oscar introduced themselves, both impressed by her professionalism and enthusiasm. “We’ve heard a lot about you,” said Lando. “Welcome to the team,” added Oscar.
“Thank you! I’m really excited to be here and work with all of you,” Isabela replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
As they chatted, it became clear that Isabela’s youthful energy and fresh perspective would be a valuable addition to the team. The drivers felt a sense of protectiveness forming. The only 18 year old girl already wormed her way into their hearts like she did with the other people she met before.
“So, you’re into photography. How did that come about?” Lando inquired. He, Oscar, and Isabela were seated in the cafeteria after Charlotte had sent them inside. According to her, it was far too windy outside for them to spend time on the track. Thus, the trio decided to warm themselves up with some tea and coffee.
“Well, to be honest, my Avó Berta introduced me to photography. After my parents divorced, my father had to work tirelessly to support both me and my grandmother. We had nothing; we lived in the favelas of Rio. That’s why my father juggled three jobs, ensuring we always had food on the table and a roof over our heads,” Isabela began.
“Wow, that must have been tough,” Oscar commented, his eyes wide with empathy.
“It was,” Isabela nodded. “Because of that, us girls were often alone at home. But after a few years, my Avó Berta fell ill and became bedridden. I always loved recounting my days and all the new things I saw to her. However, after some months, she began to forget the things I told her about and what they looked like. So, for seven months, I saved up all my money to buy a camera. Mind you, it was only a cheap one, but it immediately printed the pictures,” she said, laughing lightly. At this point, both Lando and Oscar had somber smiles on their faces.
“That’s so sweet of you,” Lando said softly. “It must have meant a lot to her.”
“It did,” Isabela replied. “So, the next time I told my grandmother about the latest adventure my friends and I had, I was also able to show her the pictures. And if she forgot after a few days, the photos helped to jog her memory.” After a moment of hesitation, she continued.
“Sadly, my grandmother passed away that same winter, so she never got to see the new camera my father bought me for my birthday,” she murmured. Oscar placed his hand on top of hers, causing Isabela to look up. “Your grandmother sounds like a real badass,” he told her, eliciting not only a laugh from the girl but also from his teammate.
“She really was,” Isabela agreed, her eyes shining with fond memories.
“I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what about your mother?” Lando asked hesitantly. “Lando!” Oscar looked shocked at Lando while kicking his foot under the table. Isabela laughed again before continuing. “It’s alright, Oscar. Lando’s just curious. Well, my mother left us when I was two. One day she was there, and the next day she wasn’t. She just packed her bag and left us. No goodbye letter, no SMS. Nada. Which is also the reason why my grandmother despised her.”
“That’s harsh,” Oscar said, shaking his head. “How did you cope with that?”
“Well, to be honest, I don’t really remember much about her. The only thing I know is her name and what she looks like. The only thing I have from her, besides my looks, is a letter that she sent me on my 16th birthday,” Isabela explained.
“Did you ever try to find her?” Lando asked, his curiosity piqued.
“I thought about it,” Isabela admitted. “But I realized that my life was full with the people who stayed. My father, my Avó Berta, my friends, and my passion for photography. They were enough for me.”
“Wow, I’m honestly… impressed,” said Oscar. “After everything that happened, you turned your passion into your profession. That is something nearly no one achieves,” whispered Lando. His heart felt heavy. How could her mother ever leave this sweet girl? And then, after 14 years, only send a letter? Isabela could only muster a small smile for her new friends.
“Thank you, guys. It means a lot to hear that,” she said, her voice filled with gratitude.
After that day, the three of them only grew closer. The drivers understood what their boss meant when he said Isabela was a ray of sunshine. Each morning, she greeted everyone with a smile that rivaled the sun. Her cheerful demeanor and genuine interest in others quickly made her a beloved figure at the factory. Sometimes she spent time with the PR team, assisting them in devising new challenges. Other times, she conversed with the engineers and mechanics, inquiring about the new McLaren. They were always more than happy to indulge the young woman, often going out of their way to explain the intricacies of their work.
Isabela’s presence had a noticeable impact on the team’s morale. Her positivity was infectious, and she had a knack for making everyone feel valued and appreciated. The cafeteria staff adored her because she always took the time to chat with them and compliment their cooking. The security guards looked forward to her daily greetings, which brightened their long shifts. Even the usually reserved IT department found themselves smiling more often when Isabela was around.
But her favorite moments were those spent with Oscar and Lando. Oscar, with his calm and thoughtful demeanor, often shared stories about his racing experiences and offered advice on navigating the competitive world of motorsport. Lando, on the other hand, was the life of the party, always ready with a joke or a funny anecdote to lighten the mood. Instead of only spending time at the factory together, they watched movies at each other’s flats or went out for dinner. One time, they even went grocery shopping together, which ended with a half-new wardrobe for Isabela, 7 liters of milk for Lando, and a new TV for Oscar. How that happened, nobody knows.
During those few weeks in England before Testing, Isabela had the pleasure of meeting Lily, Oscar’s girlfriend. The two of them became best friends instantly. When Lando and Isabela arrived at Oscar’s flat for another movie night, it was also the first time the girls would meet each other.
Instead of the uncomfortable “Hey, I’m… Nice to meet you,” Isabela and Lily ran to each other for a hug. “Oh my gosh, hi! You look so pretty,” Isabela gushed while the girls still held each other. “Girl, you’re one to talk. You literally look like a goddess. I love that shirt,” Lily complimented her, making the Brazilian girl spin. “Really? I wasn’t sure if it was the right one for tonight. I didn’t want to be overdressed,” the younger one replied shyly. “Love, listen carefully. You are never overdressed. The people around us are just underdressed,” Lily assured her while leading her new best friend to the sofa. The girls sat so close to each other, practically sitting on each other’s laps, while talking about the newest paddock gossip.
Lando and Oscar only looked at the two with bewildered expressions. “What the…” “Just happened?” After another moment, their silence was interrupted by Lily, who ordered Oscar to “bring this cutie pie a refreshment. Oh, and Lando as well.” The only thing Lando could do was laugh so hard that tears started streaming down his face.
As the evening progressed, the group settled in for a movie. “What are we watching tonight?” Lando asked, still chuckling from earlier. “How about a classic? Maybe something like ‘Back to the Future’?” Oscar suggested. “Oh, I love that movie!” Isabela exclaimed. “It’s been ages since I last saw it.”
They all agreed, and soon the movie was playing. During a particularly intense scene, Isabela leaned over to Lando and whispered, “Do you think we could ever build a car like that?” Lando grinned, “With the right team, anything’s possible.”

Hey!! Love your work and you're doing amazing. If you can please write enemies to lovers with Hector Fort :)
Have an amazing day!!!
A/N: Finally we have some Hector Fort appreciation
GOAL-GETTER’S HEART - HECTOR FORT
In which Hector keeps annoying his teammates sister
Hector Fort x Ferran Torres’s sister! reader
︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿
The Camp Nou stadium shimmered under the golden rays of the setting sun, a breathtaking backdrop to the final training session before a crucial match.
From the bleachers, I watched Barcelona's star player, Hector Fort, weave through drills with effortless grace. It was a familiar sight, yet one that never failed to impress.
Despite my frequent presence, Hector and I had never seen eye to eye. He was insufferably cocky and seemed to enjoy nothing more than getting under my skin.
His teasing and arrogance were relentless, and I made no secret of my disdain for him.
"Hey, how's it going, little Fort?" Hector called out as he jogged over to where I was sitting. His smirk was as infuriating as ever. "Enjoying the view?"
I raised an eyebrow, unamused. "I'm here for Ferran, not you."
"Ouch," he chuckled, leaning casually against the railing. "Tough crowd. But hey, I'm more than just a pretty face on the field, you know."
I sighed inwardly, preparing for another round of banter. "I'm sure you are."
Hector's grin widened. "You know, you could learn a thing or two about appreciating skill when you see it."
I rolled my eyes. "And you could learn some humbleness.”
Before the conversation could escalate further, Ferran jogged over, grinning widely. "Hey, Hector, cut it out. Leave my sister alone."
Hector raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright. I'll behave. Just trying to lighten the mood, Ferran."
As Hector wandered back to join the team, Ferran gave me an apologetic smile. "Sorry about him. He's always like this."
I shrugged, trying to shake off the irritation. "It's fine. I'm used to it."
The next few weeks followed a similar pattern. I would show up to watch Ferran, and Hector would take every opportunity to make a snide remark or challenge me in some way. But something began to shift.
Beneath the teasing, I noticed glimpses of a different side of Hector—one that was dedicated, hardworking, and surprisingly kind to his teammates.
One afternoon, after a particularly grueling practice, I was waiting for Ferran when Hector approached me again.
This time, there was no smirk, just a tired but genuine smile.
"Hey," he said, his tone softer than usual. "You sticking around for a while? Ferran said he'd be a bit late."
I raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, I guess so. Why?"
He shrugged, looking uncharacteristically hesitant. "I thought maybe you and I could talk. Without the usual... banter."
I was taken aback but nodded. "Sure, why not?"
We found a quiet spot away from the field, and for the first time, Hector seemed more human than infuriating.
We talked about football, of course, but also about other things—our families, our hobbies. I found myself laughing at his stories and sharing some of my own.
"You're not as bad as I thought," I admitted, surprising even myself.
He grinned, but it was a softer, more genuine smile. "And you're not as uptight as I thought."
We continued talking until the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the field.
By the time Ferran finally joined us, I realized that my feelings towards Hector had shifted in ways I hadn't expected.
Over the following weeks, Hector and I continued to spend time together outside of football.
Our talk had marked a turning point in our relationship, and I found myself enjoying his company more and more.
He was thoughtful and surprisingly considerate, always finding ways to make me laugh.
One evening, after a leisurely dinner at a cozy restaurant, Hector walked me to my car. The city lights twinkled around us, casting a romantic glow over the streets.
"Thanks for tonight," he said softly, his hand brushing against mine.
I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me. "No, thank you. I had a great time."
He paused for a moment, as if gathering his thoughts. "You know, I really like spending time with you.
You're different from anyone I've ever met."
My heart skipped a beat, realizing where his words might be leading. "Hector..."
He interrupted gently, his expression earnest. "I was wondering if... maybe we could do this again. Officially, I mean. Like, as more than just friends."
I looked at him, surprised yet undeniably pleased. "Are you asking me out, Hector Fort?"
He grinned sheepishly. "Yeah, I guess I am."
I laughed softly, feeling a rush of happiness. "Then yes, I'd love that."

another request here! could i please request a fic with pregnant!reader (writer's choice for which winchester brother is the dad!) where the three are en route to a new case and are in the middle of nowhere when reader goes into labor and ends up giving birth in the impala? 😊
Warnings: pregnancy, birth, swearing, canon-level arguing between the Winchesters
Word Count: 1.8k
A/N: Full disclosure, I've never given birth so please forgive anything that doesn't make sense lmao
Having spent the last few weeks on the road, case after case with no space from each other, I had to admit that the three of us were starting to go a little crazy. Sam and Dean had been at each other's throats over the pettiest things since my six month mark in this pregnancy.
Sam would yell at Dean to get his feet off our bed, and Dean would yell at Sam to lighten up. Or they'd argue about who takes what role in hunts. Tonight, I try to just ignore them to focus on packing, but it proves difficult when my name keeps getting brought into the mix.
"I said no, Dean! We're not taking the case," Sam growls, slamming his book shut. "It's at least a days drive from here, if not two and with Y/N so deep into this pregnancy," he lets out a breath, glancing over at me with wide eyes, as if the realization of my quickly approaching due date has just hit him. "I just don't think it's a good idea."
Dean tries to shake the frustration out of his body by punching a pile of clothes into his bag. He aggressively grips onto the next pile and looks up at Sam, face tight, "so we make a couple of stops along the way to make sure everything is alright," he chides with a shrug, the bag ripping slightly as he shoves that pile into it. "Damn it," he says under his breath.
Sam scoffs with a glare in his eyes, "do you even know how many hospitals we pass to get there? None! Not a damn one!"
Dean shrugs, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth, "we'll take the scenic route then."
Frustrated, I raise my voice about theirs, "okay! Can you both please stop talking about me like I'm not here!" I shout, my voice shaking with anxiety. They both spin around, shock in their eyes as they meet mine, as if they completely forgot I was still in the room with them. Dean bows his head, "I should be allowed to have a say in this considering… oh, I don't know," I say, pretending to be amused, then raise my voice, "I'm carrying the baby! And I'll be damned if I spend the next 4 weeks of this fucking pregnancy being treated like I need to be bubble wrapped!"
"I'm just trying to protect you," Sam says sheepishly.
"And I'm telling you I don't need protection," I snap. His eyes widen, and head hangs slightly. He takes a few careful steps my way. Softening my voice, I add, "Sam, I'm tired of all the fighting, and I'm tired of being treated like I can't do anything for myself."
He lets out a long, almost unwilling, sigh of agreement. "I get it," he says softly. "I guess I wasn't thinking… we were… he-" he stutters, letting air bounce between his lips when he knows there's really only one thing he should be saying, "I'm sorry. You're right."
"Thank you," I sigh, ignoring Dean's smug smile.
"Oh, don't act like you're any better, Dean!" Sam sneers.
"Stop!" I say as Dean rolls his eyes. He grabs his bag to head for the door, muttering that he’ll be in the car before slamming the door shut behind him.
Sam scoffs, looking around the room with a blank stare. "He's been such a jerk lately," he says, looking back at me.
"He's probably just scared, Sam," I say, brushing the hair out of his face. "I mean, you know how he is. And our lives are about to drastically change. Who knows what hunting will look like when we have a child to take care of. I mean, life is already so dangerous for us, and now we have to protect something so defenseless. That’s terrifying."
---
The cramping starts a few hours away from our destination when we stopped at a gas station for fuel and food. They were mild at first, going away as soon as they started, giving me a long enough break in between pangs to forget about the last.
"Okay, so apparently the victims all have missing hearts," Sam says in a long sigh, scrolling through news articles on his phone. He looks up with a puzzled expression, "we thinking werewolves?"
I grit my teeth as another pang hits. It's almost like I could feel every groove and line in the road. Clearing my throat, I add, "but it wasn't a full moon, was it?"
"No," Sam says in a soft whisper, "but maybe-" a shout rips through me from a cramp, interrupting Sam and he turns to look at me.
The last thing I see before clenching my eyes shut are Dean's eyes flashing back at me through the rear-view mirror.
"Yeah," I lie, my breathy voice giving me away and I yell out again when Dean drives over a bump. I throw a hand to my belly, rubbing the area that hurts. But it's all hurting now, and then nothing again. I take quick breaths. Anxiety riddles me. Did something happen to my baby? I wonder. My eyes open and my heart just pounds.
Dean pulls the car off to the side of the road with a screech when I yell out again, my hand gripping tight to seat in front of me. The second the car has slowed enough, Sam jumps out to get into the backseat with me.
Dean uses the steering wheel to push from to turn my way, "what's happening? Are you okay?" Dean asks while Sam races to unbuckle my seat belt.
"Of course she's not okay, Dean!" Sam growls, his eyes full of worry. I can hear them bickering with “I told you so” and “yeah well if you’re so smart” in the distance. My ears ring, and I'm too tuned into the frogs croaking in the swaying trees.
A tight ache hits me again and my body jerks forwards as a scream lets itself out of me.
"I think the baby is coming," Sam whispers to Dean with wide eyes.
"No shit," Dean mutters, throwing his door open to come to the backseat. He opens the door, using it to prop up his arm as he looks in.
"No, no, no," I cry, shaking my head. "It's gotta be Braxton-Hicks, it has to be-" I plead, tears streaming down my face. "It's too soon," I say anxious as all hell until another wave of pain takes over, and Sam grabs my hands in his.
"It's gonna be okay, Y/N," Sam says, gently squeezing my hands. His eyes pan up to Dean, getting his attention, "we gotta get her pants off her," Sam says quietly, and I groan.
Dean rushes into action, taking my back in his arms to lay me down on the seat. Sam works fast to get my clothes removed, but slows when the ache hits again.
Sam’s eyes widen when he realizes how close we are to holding our baby, and he rushes to remove his jacket, placing it on the seat between my legs. I prop myself up on my elbows, bringing my feet onto the seat to bend my knees and open my legs. Never in my twenty-nine years of life did I expect to be pregnant, let alone give birth in Dean’s car with the damn Winchester brothers delivering my baby, but here we are.
The cold hair nips at my naked skin, but it’s easy to push past the discomfort of that when it feels like a fucking fire was started on my lower half. Sam holds his hands on my thighs as he encourages me, reminding me to breathe and push. The irritability in me adds to the fire, and I want to tell him to shut up, but I don’t. I can’t see Dean, but I know he’s probably as scared as I feel right now, given how out in the open we are. He keeps a firm, but comforting hand on my shoulder as I push, offering words of encouragement here and there, his focus more on the world around us, scanning for danger.
Dropping my head against Dean’s arm, I let out a groan as I push, the pain almost unbearable now. I could feel the pressure and burning of each one, and after what feels like hours the pressure increases to the worst pain I’ve felt yet.
I squeeze Dean’s hand probably harder than I should have, but suddenly a weight feels like it’s been lifted from me, and I’m washed with relief of the sweet sound of my baby crying. My arms fail to hold me any longer and I fall back against Dean.
Sam chuckles as he holds our baby, wrapped up in his jacket, close to his chest. With Dean's help I'm able to sit up, still using him as a back rest.
"It's a girl," Sam says with a big smile, tears welling in his eyes. He hands her to me, and I'm overwhelmed with love, joy and exhaustion.
"Shh, shh," I coo before kissing her on her small forehead. "It's okay, we've got you," I whisper. Tears fill my eyes and I can't help but to sob as I look down at her beautiful face. I rock her in my arms, and her cries quickly calm, turning into whimpers. Tracing the features on her soft face I'm mesmerized at how beautiful she is.
Looking up at Sam, my tears continue to fall, but I wear a smile, "we just had a baby!" I say, almost in disbelief. I continue to rock her for a while, as if it were just me and her. Then I feel Dean's hand tap my arm.
I turn to look at his red eyes, then back at my baby, "do you wanna meet your uncle?" I say in a baby voice before looking up at Sam with a silent request to help me hand Dean our baby.
Dean strolls around the Impala to stand next to Sam, taking my daughter in his arms so carefully. He holds her tightly against his chest, eyes crinkling at the corners as he sways with her. He holds his hand over her head to protect her from the wind, bringing his lips down and plants a kiss on the top of her head. "Well, aren't you just a little cutie," he says, then looks over at Sam, "must not take after your daddy," he jokes. "Ha, ha, very funny," Sam says flatly, but smiles. Dean clears his throat after a pause, "do you know what you're gonna name her yet?" Dean asks, and I glance at Sam hesitantly. "Well, I was thinking Mary Y/M/N?" I suggest, and their jaws drop, but their faces light up. Sam takes a few steps towards me to kiss me hard. "It's perfect," Sam says.
~~~ A/N: Y/M/N = either your mom's name or whatever name you want to put here :)
"𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞"
It wasn't supposed to end like this. This journey was supposed to be a brief interlude in the grand scheme of things. Yet, here you are. In this reality. In this present.
You were running late that day.
Well, at least that's how you look at it. You prided yourself on never making anyone wait—a firm believer that punctuality was a virtue you held dear, never wanting to inconvenience others. Everything you needed was already prepared and waiting by the door. As you waited for your ride, you have your best friend on the phone.
"And then how's the boyfriend?"
"He's great."
"You're still seeing him," he remarked, more to himself than to you. You found it unusual to hear his tone lacking the usual enthusiasm as you were more accustomed to his cheerful demeanour.
"It's not that easy, Cheol."
"Fine, we'll talk when you get here. By the way, I know you're not good with strangers, but is it alright if I ask one of my members to pick you up instead? I'm out of the way, and he'll pass by your apartment on the way. It's alright if you don't want to, though."
Do I have a choice? you wanted to retort, but you knew Seungcheol too well. He was the kind of person who wouldn't even let you open the door for yourself; he was just that thoughtful.
"Is he nice?"
"Very much, unlike that dick you're dating. He's the baby in our group!" You ignored his not so subtle insult he just threw about your boyfriend. You sense a hint of pride visible in his voice. So you tried to tease lightly to lighten the mood, "So, a superstar's gonna drive me?"
"Hey, why don't you say that when I'm the one driving you?"
"Fine. I trust your judgment. Just, tell him I'm super awkward, alright?"
"Don't worry. He's pretty good with people. I'll tell him not to be weird."
"𝐈 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧' 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬
𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧' 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬
𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧' 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐱"
"Hi, I'm Lee Chan!"
You went to step out on the porch a full 30 minutes earlier than planned, determined not to keep your ride waiting. The early morning air was crisp, and the faint glow of dawn was just beginning to lighten the sky. Just as you took the first step down the porch stairs, a car pulled into your driveway, surprising you.
You quickly gathered all your things. Lee Chan greeted you with a friendly smile, and you returned the gesture with a bow before carefully getting into the passenger seat. "Good morning, hi! I'm so sorry. I really hope I'm not bothering you."
"Not really, it's fine. I'm going to pass by your apartment anyway."
"Cheol insists and I couldn't say no," you explained, feeling immense gratitude for his understanding. His tone was light and easygoing, which calmed you a bit.
"Well, it's Cheollie. It's fine, really!" he laughed, clearly trying to ease any tension, which seemed to work. "It's okay if you want to stay silent, alright? I'll just turn on the radio. I hope you don't mind."
"Oh no, I don't. It's your car."
During the drive, the boy made light small talk, about the weather, your impression of South Korea so far, and how you and Seungcheol knew each other, "We go way back, like elementary school levels," you shared, smiling at the memories. "I appreciate how he hasn't forgotten his roots, even after all the achievements he's had." You also mentioned that you were a sound engineer.
His friendly demeanour and natural charm made the journey feel shorter than it was. You found yourself laughing at his jokes and stories, enjoying the unexpected company.
You had arrived at the studio without realizing it.
"Hey Chan, thank you so much for this. I owe you," you expressed your gratitude as you both got out of the car, very appreciative of his kindness.
"Don't mention it!" he replied with a smile, waving goodbye as you went your separate ways.
You met Seungcheol in the cafeteria to grab breakfast and catch up before proceeding with the recording. As you watched from the control room, you were overjoyed with all the gadgets and equipment, finding it a little funny and impressive how all thirteen boys managed to record so quickly, considering they only got 1-2 lines per song.
The atmosphere in the studio was lively, and you couldn't help but feel excited to be a part of it all.
The recording process stretched on for a week, followed by several more weeks for mastering. During this time, you had the opportunity to build a rapport with the staff, particularly with Jihoon, whose dedication and talent in producing the songs left you in awe each day.
You also had the chance to meet the other members, but your interactions were quite limited due to their celebrity status. They were always surrounded by tight security, even within the studio premises, unless Seungcheol came to check in on you. One time, while you were helping out the audio department, Seungcheol checked on you along with Chan.
"What are you even doing here? You don't even care about me," Jihoon playfully chided, nudging Chan away as he reached for the audio mixer's controls.
"It's because I'm not here for you, loser! I'm checking in on YN!" They were playfully pushing each other, almost like kids playing, which you were grateful for, or else they would've seen how red you turned.
Jihoon settled back into his big ass producer chair, a big grin on his face and you couldn't help but feel that he needed that short break; he had been working nonstop the whole day, glued to that chair. "What a friend you are, Chan."
"Hi Y/N! How are you?" Chan greeted warmly with his signature charm, his smile infectious.
"Chan, hey. I'm good. Actually just being amazed every day by Jihoon," you tried to express your admiration for his talent. The two boys joined in, showering Jihoon with compliments, and you could see the blush on his face, a clear sign of the love and appreciation he received from everyone. You thought he was humble.
As you and Chan caught up, you couldn't help but notice the genuine kindness and warmth in Chan's demeanor.
This led you to look at him in a way you knew you shouldn't, feeling a fleeting moment of attraction that left you momentarily conflicted, your thoughts briefly drifting to your boyfriend. Your mind wandered, 'When will my own boyfriend ask me how I am?'
Scoups announced they had to leave.
"Ji, take care of Y/N," they bid their goodbyes and exchanged hugs. Chan surprised you by pulling you into a hug as well. As you felt his embrace, you couldn't shake the feeling of longing that lingered after he left, a stark contrast to the fleeting thought of your boyfriend.
"𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧' 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐧?"
When the mastering was completed, a company party was held to celebrate the accomplishments, but it was exclusive to all creatives responsible for the producing and mastering. You were fortunate enough to be friends with Seungcheol and had also won Jihoon's friendship along the process, so you received an invite.
At the party, you mingled with many of the creatives, expanding your network and soaking in the knowledge and experiences of seasoned professionals. You found yourself inspired by their stories and insights, feeling more motivated than ever to pursue your own career in the industry.
As the night went on, you couldn't help but reflect on how far you had come since starting your journey. A beautiful warm feeling in your heart as you look at all the opportunities you had received and excited for what the future held.
The party had a semi-formal dress code, so you opted for smart slacks to ensure comfort throughout the evening.
As your social battery began to drain, you found a moment to sit down at a round table. A waiter promptly served your food, and shortly after, Chan approached and asked, "Is this seat taken?"
"No, go ahead, sit."
True to form, Chan's presence was comforting, and any hint of your earlier drained battery seemed to vanish as if Chan had electrified you with energy.
You both shared laughs, with Chan mostly cracking jokes and pointing out random people, sharing funny anecdotes about them. You found this particularly amusing as you had met and knew half of them from the mastering process.
"Have you tried their cocktail yet? It's so good!"
"Oh, and don't forget to apply Vaseline to your lips every night."
"Moisturizer! Every time I finish shaving."
He was just an ordinary guy, chatting with you about the most everyday things. That's what you liked about Chan—there was never a dull moment when he was around. You were starting to get used to his presence, finding comfort in his company.
Seungcheol and Jeonghan took seats in front of you. "Is this guy bothering you, Y/N?" Seungcheol asked jokingly.
"Why would you even say that?" the boy beside you just whined like a baby. You laughed and carried on with your conversation, enjoying the lively atmosphere of the party.
After a few drinks, the both of you were now eating pasta. Chan took a bite from your plate, and a piece fell on your thigh. "Shit, I'm sorry," he exclaimed.
You both burst into hysterical laughter at the randomness of the situation. Chan quickly took the piece off, whilst you're relieved that you were wearing pants. A faint stain was left, "Hey, it looks like a cursive 'M.'"
As Chan's finger traced the cursive "M" on your thigh, you couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions. His touch, so gentle yet electrifying, sent a shiver down your spine, and a warm sensation spread through your body. His smile was innocent, but the effect it had on you was intense. You were acutely aware of the world around you seemingly stopping, leaving just the two of you trapped in a bubble with his burning touch.
You locked eyes with Chan, and for a moment, you couldn't help but notice how close he was. His presence was comforting yet exhilarating, and you found yourself leaning slightly into his touch, wanting more but also hesitant to show it. You were lost in the moment, caught between the warmth of his touch and the realization that this was a line you shouldn't cross.
Eventually, the spell was broken as Soonyoung approached to whisk Chan away for another one of their antics. As Chan withdrew his hand, the spell seemed to break, and you became aware of the bustling party around you once again. You could feel your cheeks flush with a mixture of embarrassment and excitement, and you quickly looked away to try to compose yourself.
He excused himself and as you watched them go, you couldn't shake the feeling of being caught in a surreal moment, wondering what it all meant and where it might lead.
In front of you, you felt a burning gaze. "What?"
"Can I talk to you?" Seungcheol asked, his tone serious as he gestured towards an empty hallway.
"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 "𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞" 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝?"
"Chan, really? Of all the boys, you chose Chan?"
"What are you talking about?" You tried to keep your voice low, but you already had a feeling of where this conversation was going.
"You know, I wouldn't mind it because you're seeing a jerk and I want you to be happy. But Chan? It's Chan who you fell for?" Seungcheol's tone was a mix of confusion and concern.
"Can you please lower your voice? People might hear you!" Y/N whispered urgently, glancing around to make sure they weren't drawing attention.
"You—" Seungcheol paused, catching himself before saying something he might regret. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing thoughts.
When he finally regained his composure, he looked at you, silently urging you to continue. He's never given this look at you before so you just looked down in fear, "how did you know?"
"Uhm, the way you looked?" You met his gaze, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over you. "Sorry, but it wasn't that subtle, just in case you don't know." You groaned, feeling like your secret was suddenly out in the open when it was supposed to be locked up in a tiny vault, never to be opened.
"Damn it. It was your fault!"
"Mine?!" As the ever-good leader of Seventeen group, Seungcheol was obviously taken aback by this accusation.
"You introduced him to me!" You tried pointing out, but even you weren't convinced by it. You just fell, and you fell hard.
"Oh my god, you've been crushing on him since that day?" The man in front of you looked so pale like a ghost.
"What's so bad about Chan? I get that I'm seeing someone right now, but it's not like something will blossom from this. I'm coming home in a few days anyway," you defended.
"I don't know. It's just weird. He's like a little brother," Seungcheol explained, trying to make sense of his feelings.
"I hate to break it to you, Cheol, but he's an adult and he's not your kid."
Their conversation was cut short when they heard the boys running down the hallway, their voices loud and boisterous.
"Cheollie!" Mingyu called out, followed by Soonyoung and Chan, their voices filled the empty hallway like a bunch of kids running around.
"See what I mean?" You actually found the situation funny, you got his look understanding exactly what he was referring to.
"Hey, is it alright if I bail early? I suddenly don't feel well," you asked, your expression turning slightly uneasy.
"I'll tell my driv--" Seungcheol was interrupted by Mingyu crashing into him and hiding behind his back.
"Cheollie, look at these two!" Mingyu exclaimed, attempting but failing to hide himself.
"I swear to god if you three don't behave yourselves! We're at a company event, not in a GOSE episode," Seungcheol scolded. You felt like he had been through so much that night already—dealing with you and Chan, and then managing the antics of the other boys too.
He then turned to you, "Just tell my driver to come back right after. This party doesn't seem like it's ending soon."
"Huh? You're leaving already, Y/N?" Chan asked disappointment was evident in his tone, but you didn't dwell on it too much.
"Yeah, I don't really drink much, so I got a little light-headed with the drinks we had."
"Oh, I didn't even feel a kick," he boasted.
"Of course, frat boy, it's you," Soonyoung teased him. You don't know why boys do that but they seem to always slap some shit out of their friends when they're all teasing.
"Oy! I'm not a drunk!"
"Yeah, right," Mingyu joined.
"Well, good night, everyone!" you bid your farewell and started to make your way back inside.
"Can I walk you, at least?" Chan offered, looking genuinely concerned.
You exchanged a glance with the eldest, "Oh, it's fine. I'm good. Thank you for the offer, though," you tried to sound politely as you can, feeling a mix of relief and uncertainty about your decision.
"Alright, well have a good night, Y/N," Chan said warmly, bidding you goodbye as the others chimed in to greet too.
You turned to leave the party coming home with a pang of regret, wondering if you should have accepted Chan's offer after all.
Returning to your apartment, the weight of disappointment that usually accompanied your boyfriend's predictable good morning text was conspicuously absent. Instead, there was a curious sense of relief, as if a burden had been lifted from your shoulders.
As you settled in, the memory of Chan lingered, his presence more vivid than ever. You couldn't shake the feeling of warmth that had enveloped you in his company, a stark contrast to the mundane routine of your current relationship.
The night replayed in your mind like a movie. You remembered the way Chan's eyes lit up when he talked about his passions, the genuine interest he showed in your own stories, and the way he made you feel seen and understood in a way your boyfriend never had. The laughter, the camaraderie, the easy banter with Chan—all of it felt more real and vibrant than anything you had experienced in a long time.
You remember the way his finger drew burns on your skin.
You couldn't help but compare the excitement and genuine connection you felt with Chan to the monotony and predictability of your relationship with your boyfriend. His single text message, a mere formality, now seemed like a stark reminder of what was lacking in your current situation.
Despite the late hour and the day's activities leaving you tired, sleep eluded you as you lay in bed, your thoughts consumed by Chan. You found yourself wondering about what could've been.
You hadn't returned to the studio since the party, as you weren't needed there anyway.
"Cheol, I'm coming home early," you decided, thinking it would be best to leave before your feelings grew unrequited.
"I thought you still had a few more days?" even through a phone call, his surprised voice is pretty evident.
"Yeah, I thought I'd start early, you know? Got a lot to prepare."
"Alright, well, this is so sudden. I planned on hanging out before you leave but, if that's what you want, sure. Do you already have your plane ticket?" he inquired.
"Yup. Find someone else to spoil, not me. You've already spoiled me enough with this part-time opportunity!" you joked. "I can't thank you enough."
"What can I say? I'm the best."
"You actually are," you admitted sincerely, feeling a warmth in your chest from the precious relationship you have with your best friend.
"Well, when will I see you again?" he asked, even if you haven't left yet, you can already hear the longing in his voice.
In school reunions?" you joke to try to lighten the mood.
"Ha-ha."
"I'm just a phone call away, Cheol," you reassured him, hoping to offer some comfort. The bond you shared was strong, and you knew that no matter the distance, your friendship would endure.
With that, you flew away from South Korea without looking back. However, your thoughts couldn't seem to leave that place.
"𝐌𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐞
𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞
𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧' 𝐮𝐩 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧' 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞"
"Hi, baby. Look, I know you must be upset, but please hear me out."
You stood at the airport, the cold, sterile surroundings matching the numbness in your heart.
It's now almost an hour.
Each minute stretching like an eternity, as you waited for your ride home. This situation was all too familiar, a painful routine of either waiting for him or picking him up.
"I'll just call you a taxi, alright? And then, I'm gonna treat you to a nice dinner. Sounds good?"
Dinner was indeed nice, except for the part where he brought his whole group of friends. As much as you wanted to catch up with your boyfriend, the whole time you just wanted to lie down in bed, too jet-lagged from all the traveling that day.
Physically, you were there, but mentally, you were still in the studio. You were still at that party. You were still with Chan.
You felt a hand on your thigh, a gesture meant to reassure, but it only served to highlight the growing distance between you. His touch felt foreign, a stark contrast to the intimacy it once held.
It felt like he was encroaching on your space. Despite the happiness of being home and the prospect of spending more time together, every interaction felt jarring, out of sync.
Each kiss felt like poison, leaving a bitter taste on your lips. Every hug seemed to suffocate, the embrace too tight, too restricting. Every touch sent shivers down your spine, but not the kind that thrilled. They felt cold, devoid of the warmth you once knew.
And with every climax, you found yourself calling out a different name in your head, a silent plea for something more, something real.
"𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲"
The day rushed past as the first music video from the album was completed. You had the exclusive opportunity to view it before its public release. Seungcheol even asked for your genuine review and your reaction was beyond words. Your involvement in its production gave you a unique perspective, witnessing the meticulous effort and creative genius behind every scene.
Seeing the boys perform with such passion and talent warmed your heart. Especially seeing him. As a member of the performance team, his dancing prowess was expected, but witnessing it live was awe-inspiring.
A tear escaped, tracing a path down your cheek, a mix of pride and a deep yearning for Seungcheol's advice. While you could end your relationship now, it wasn't that simple. Your career was your priority, and you craved stability, something you doubted Chan could provide as a pop star. While you longed for adventure, what you truly needed was a sense of security and stability in your life.
You yearn for the way Chan makes you feel when you're with him. His presence is like a burst of energy, always leaving you electrified and invigorated. It's a stark contrast to the dynamics of what you actually have now in a relationship.
Seungcheol did mention Chan asking how you've been doing and all that. This made you realize that you needed to distance yourself. Choosing not to entertain thoughts of Chan any longer seemed like the only sensible solution. After all, as a pop star, entertaining others was part of his nature, and you didn't want to be just another audience member in his life, they were programmed to do just that, even for you.
It wasn't supposed to end like this. This journey was supposed to be a brief interlude in the grand scheme of things. Yet, here you are. In this reality. In this present.
But in another life, you would choose you and him religiously.
You know what, season 2 broke a lot of our hearts, didn't it? Well, here's some moments I thought were funny, heartwarming and just off the wall to lighten things up!
Starting with the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc and if y'all want, I'll do a part 2 for the Shibuya Incident!
NOTE: I may have talked about some of these moments before in other posts.
Utahime, just all of Utahime in the first episode. She's awesome, I adore her. "SHOOOOKOOOO!!"
Chibi Satoru and Suguru. Especially the part of Suguru walking up the stairs as the others were talking. "Urusei."
"SENSEI, I SAY WE STOP THIS HUNT FOR THE CULPRIT!"
"SO IT WAS YOU!"
"Blegh!"
Shoko dipping out.
Suguru was really about to jump Satoru with a curse!!!
The fact that Suguru even went from wearing regular-waist pants to high-waist ones from manga to anime is glorious. Whoever decided that knew Suguru was meant to be a fashion icon.
Digimon
That WALK!!! Y'all, those are Special Grade sorcerers!
Suguru scowling Satoru on his behavior, also... "Satorrruuu~" Did he have to purr? That was a purr!
I love Satoru Gojo, I do. But with those glasses, he really do be looking like one of the Three Blind Mice from Shrek.
I don't know how but Toji somehow made saying he took his wife's last name scary. Like, he was very intimidating that it bypass me the first time of how cute it is that he loved Mamaguro a lot.
They actually added Suguru fixing himself a cup of tea in the anime!! This teenager really had that man captured by some Kissing Curse, told him he couldn't be a rice farmer and had himself some tea. Iconic.
Ooh, Satoru didn't have to do Bayer like that. But I applaud him for taking such a selfie!
Shoko trying to explain how RCT works actually irritated Satoru... which is rare!
Riko actually was the first to defeat Satoru. Did him dirty!! Suguru actually laughs at Satoru getting slapped while in the anime he looks shocked. Either way, his reaction is funny as hell.
"You look like a liar! And what's up with those bangs?" Then Riko got jumped for that!
Suguru's bangs ain't that bad, come on!
Knowing how Suguru turns out, it's something he's the one to tell Kuroi that she's Riko's family. Years later, he had his own "family". It's actually heartwarming he tells her that.
That old man didn't even get touched yet and he was already seeing his dead dog from 50 years ago!! Man's life flashed right before his eyes and he even says that! The whooping Suguru put on him was so bad that he was having visions!!
The one time Satoru is shown to have some sort of charm is with a bunch of school girls. The teacher should be locked up though.
Baghead man really had on the All Might cosplay.
Toji didn't have to say a word to that man and he still scared him shitless. Alright, Toji, I see you being all scary!
Satoru really be carrying kids like they're bags of groceries. Did it with Yuji, he did it with Riko.
"I failed!"
Kuroi being rescued! Satoru really stomped on those guys!
The plane scene. Satoru checking each passenger all with a glare. Meanwhile, Suguru was just chilling with a book, sitting there all pretty.
The whole beach scene!! "IT'S A SEA CUCUMBER!!"
Teen Kento having that hairstyle and his dynamic with Yu is just too adorable. He looks like he has Wii music playing in his head all day. Such a good kid!!
I cannot believe that DIO's VA is also Toji's. It's funnier when Toji has had beef with Satoru as a kid and DIO has had generational beef with the Joestars.
I just know that Worm Curse was having the time of its life on Toji's back while he was jumping around and being tossed about. Also, Toji smiling the whole time while fighting.
Suguru actually has mad hops! Did y'all not see that long ass jump?!
Squid gun. Speaking of, where in the hell did all those squids come from?! I need a story on that one!
Toji talking about how he fights for a while before Suguru tells him to shut up and due.
"Am I pretty?" "Sorry, you're not my type." Okay, well, damn.
The Worm Curse pretty much "NOPE" at Suguru.
That kick was fucking personal, I just know it! Also, the fact that Toji actually thought about the curses inhabiting Suguru's body is something. Especially, given later. I actually question that when Suguru dies in JJK 0, did Satoru have to deal with any curses?
Toji remembering Megumi.
Also, if you pay attention to the Worm, that thing sometimes matches Toji's expressions. It's like Reki and his headband (SK8 the Infinity).
Satoru standing all menacingly outside for Toji.
"Is he high?" Well, given that a few moments later he'll be floating in the air.
The fact that people have described Toji's death as "turned into the Apple logo" to "the Rengoku treatment". Y'all are out of pocket! And he looked so disappointed, too.
"Mommy... hug me..." That scene is just...
"I like girls with healthy appetites!" Yu, never change!!
Yuki's reaction to what Suguru tells her about what he has heard about her. "She's pouting."
"I heard you the first time. That's why I said 'huh'!" Bro was just that mad.
Shoko. Just Shoko when she and Suguru meet in Shinjuku.
Heartbreaking as the scene is, you had one lanky ass teenager looking deranged on one end and the other with the "I'm going to the store real quick" fit on having this fight in front of KFC. Becomes even funnier when you remember the slogan "finger lickin' good". What does this have to do with anything? Think about Yuji.
One, where did Suguru get the robes from? Two, given he was born the following year in February after Satoru, if I did my calculations right... Suguru really started a cult at 17. No wonder there were objections. After he killed that guy, I'm sure everyone was like "oh, he's unhinged".
Okay, but the head rubs he gave the twins were so cute!! Look, they may been raised as killers, but it's sweet that they were Suguru's family. He adored those girls and they adored him!
The first meeting between Megumi and Satoru!!
Satoru waking up and seeing his students was just so heartwarming!!!
#i had this in my drafts since February oh my gosh#just kiya's thoughts#jjk#jujutsu kaisen#premature death arc#hidden inventory arc#geto suguru#gojo satoru#haibara yu#ieiri shoko#iori utahime#nanami kento#fushiguro toji#amanai riko#tsukumo yuki
Barry Allen x Plus Size Reader
<
Despite the growing threat of Zoom looming over Team Flash, Barry Allen had an ever-persistent smile on his face since Christmas. And it wasn't hard for his Team to tell it was all because of his soulmate.
Only having been together for a few months, with dates few and far between scattered between those months, it was clear for anyone with eyes to see that he was head over heels in love with Y/n. He would constantly gush about her little quirks, or would sigh dreamily as he ate a home cooked meal for once saying that Y/n wanted to make sure he ate well. Barry would always tell her and anyone who'd listen how appreciative he was of her for being so understanding of his unpredictable schedule. Only to have her wave him off and kiss his cheek before wishing him luck, leaving him frozen in his spot a second longer than should be normal for the fastest man alive.
But to his family, it was so adorable to see them together, and to see Barry finally relax and happy for once, to let all of his walls down. But today was one of the rare days that Y/n didn't come into the Cortex with Barry. And most of the added Team members were busy with their other jobs, so it was only Barry, Cisco, Caitlin, and Harry standing in the Cortex. While Harry and Cisco were by a whiteboard the elder man had set up to run calculations, Caitlin was running some tests on Barry.
"Isn't this great? Feels like the good old days, except without a creepy lookalike who tried to kill us," Cisco finally broke the silence excitedly as he looked at the Team he originally grew with, but quickly remedied and apologized when Harry shot him a look. Harry let out a huff before admitting, "It is nice to work with you all, even you Ramon."
Caitlin and Barry chuckled as Cisco let out an excited noise and fist pumped the air, "See I knew you'd warm up to me eventually!"
"Oh, I'll deny it if you try and tell the others," Harry countered so quickly that it left Cisco floundering for a moment as he watched the man walk away with the marker to fill up another board. Cisco just pouted, "That's just cold man."
"As nice as having the original team is, we need to at least accept one addition to that group," Caitlin broke through as she shot a pointed look and a smirk at Barry. Barry turned his head towards her and blushed when he noticed they were all shooting him with matching looks. Shifting in his chair he turned his eyes back to Cait, "What do you mean?"
"Well..... Y/n's your soulmate. As much as I like the rest of our additional team, I won't think of them as us, the Original Team. But with Y/n it's different, isn't it?" Caitlin observed. Barry's lips twitched upward at the mention of his soulmate's name, but he out a sigh as he nodded, "Isn't it always different with your soulmate?"
"Yes... But the scars on your back," Caitlin started and observed her friend as he stiffened at the mention of them. Harry and Cisco exchanged looks but kept quiet and watched the other two as Caitlin continued, "When you fell into your coma, and I was your caretaker, I noticed those on your back. At first, I thought they may have been from your lightening strike, when you fell into the beakers, but then I realized they were all older than that. Of course we found out you healed really quickly once you woke up, so I didn't think much of it again until I saw Y/n and her scars she got the night the Particle Accelerator exploded." Barry's eyes were trained down on the floor, his face marred with sadness as tension filled the air. The silence felt impenetrable before Caitlin quietly asked, "They're her scars aren't they?"
Barry's eyes fluttered upward to try and fight the tears and muttered, "I got them not long after my father was wrongfully convicted of my mom's murder." Barry's eyes turned back towards the teams who were all looking at him with sympathy. Caitlin put a comforting hand on his shoulder as she spoke quietly, "For years you've held her scars. She's been with you since before you met us.... that makes her part of our team, our original team. And we take care of our own." Caitlin paused as she rubbed the Speedster's arm comfortingly, before she stared, "Barry, her scars..... They don't just happen by accident. Someone put those there."
Barry sucked in a breath as he shook his head, "How am I supposed to approach this subject? I mean, I haven't felt her pain since I was eighteen, so whoever it was, she got away from them, but.... they hurt her for years Cait." The tension was thick within the Cortex before Harry capped his marker and spoke, "Go to her, you guys still have a lot to discuss. When we've modified the weapon to take down Zoom, we'll call you." Barry nodded gratefully as he wiped away his tears before standing up and speeding away leaving a flurry of paper behind him. Cisco sighed and turned to Caitlin, "How come we always forget to invest in paperweights?"
Caitlin just shook her head and let out a small chuckle as her eyes trailed the mess of paperwork she'd have to clean up once again.
Y/n walked into the Cortex 48 hours later after Barry showed up unannounced at her apartment and kissed the living daylights out of her. What was supposed to have been a serious talk between two soulmates, ended up being a passion filled love making session that had left her absolutely breathless. Barry had worshipped her in ways she never knew possible and she discovered he could vibrate on top of everything else? Y/n didn't know what she did to deserve him, but she thanked every star in the sky that Barry was hers and she was his.
She was absolutely wrecked by the time Barry was called by Harry saying they needed to go. Barry held back just enough to finish the call before he finished her for the fourth and final time.
He had sped through the cleaning process, cleaning her gently, but she was so sensitive that her hips had involuntarily thrust in his direction despite how spent and tired she was. Barry had quickly cleaned himself as well, before rolling back to lay on her, kissing her passionately.
"Barry," Y/n moaned, trying (and failing) to pull away, before she resorted to tugging his hair to reluctantly pull his lips away from her, "Barry, don't they need you?" Barry's eyes searched hers with such intensity before he said, "I'm not done with you yet. When I get back, we're going to continue where we left off." Y/n's cheeks warmed as she smiled, "I wouldn't have it any other way. Now go save the world Flash. You'll get your reward later." Barry shot her a dazzling smile before giving her one last toe curling kiss. And then in a flash, she was left naked, and alone with no trace that her soulmate had been there, other than the fresh bouquet of (favorite/flower)s now on her nightstand.
A warmth curled deep within her as Y/n's lips twitched upward into a playful smile at the memory, wishing her legs could move just as fast as Barry's so she could just kiss him silly. She had received a text from him telling her he was safe and sound back on their Earth in the Cortex. So there she walked, wanting nothing more than to be back home with Barry tucked at her side. But instead, she walked into S.T.A.R. Labs at a normal pace, with her hands buried in her pockets nervously playing with a small package she wanted to gift specifically to Cisco and Caitlin.
"There you are, I was beginning to worry," said Doctor's voice had sounded, bouncing off the walls of the quiet hallway. Y/n's two toned eyes gazed at her new found friend, "Caitlin! I was hoping I'd run into you." Caitlin's smile never left her face, although her head tilted to the side as she observed Y/n's cheery demeanor.
"You're in an awfully good mood," Caitlin spoke with a quirk of her brow. Y/n's own twitched to furrow but she kept her smile on her face, "Of course, why wouldn't I be? Barry's back, and he's safe. I felt no pain, which means he didn't get hurt. Why? What's up Caity?" Caitlin's mouth did turn towards a frown as she asked, "Did Barry not talk to you before he left?"
Y/n's cheeks warmed causing Caitlin's brows to shoot upward as the full figured woman admitted, "Well.... he did visit, but we didn't do much talking." Y/n's eyes nervously flitted toward her friend as she watched in amusement as Caitlin's own cheeks began to flush a deep red, her eyes going wide, "Oh." Was her prim response.
Nervously chuckling, the two started to make their way towards the Cortex in awkward silence before Y/n grinned at her friend, "Oh, before I forget, I thought I would get you and Cisco a little gift.... from Barry and I," she tacked on with a quirk of her lips and a shrug of her shoulder. Caitlin just studied her friend for a moment before her face broke out in awe and amusement when Y/n pulled out little paperweights with lightning bolts engraved in them. "Oh my god," the Doctor spoke out quietly as she held the gift reverently in her hands before turning to Y/n when she said nervously, "I know it's small, but Barry was telling me how sorry he feels for leaving a mess behind every single time he speeds out, and that you guys have always mentioned in investing in some but haven't grabbed any yet."
"This is perfect N/n, thank you, seriously, Cisco is gonna love it when I show these to him, and I already love it so much," Caitlin gushed wholeheartedly. Y/n beamed as they made the rest of the way to in relative silence, Caitlin beaming down at the gift in her hand every now and then, while Y/n tried to contain her soaring heart as she heard her soulmate's voice echo down the hall from where he stood with the others. When they finally crossed the threshold, her smile instantly dropped though as she felt a deep pain in her chest at the sight in front of her. There standing in the middle of the Cortex was her soulmate with his hands around Iris, both of them dressed as if they just went back in time, and Barry had adorable glasses on his face that made him look dorky. But they were talking intimately to each other, and were closer than what Y/n had seen them be in the past.
Her heart felt as if it was being ripped out when she saw the two kiss. Her two toned eyes immediately welled with tears before she felt her face crumble into one of heartbreak. Y/n heard something akin to whimper echo through the Cortex, and immediately all eyes turned to her. Feeling her legs begin to shake beneath her when Barry's eyes met hers, and all she could see was confusion and that he seemed to not recognize her. With that revelation, she felt her body crumble into the table behind her.
Eddie, whom also looked greatly disturbed by the sight in front of him, was at her side trying to hold her up as he spoke quietly, "Y/n, it's not what you think, they're-"
"Y/n?" She heard Barry call for her, causing her head to turn towards the side past Eddie to see Barry standing in normal clothes. He was in front of her in an instant, blocking her view of the other Barry still holding Iris close to his body.
Her own eyes focused on the green ones that gazed at her with worry and care. Her hands came to wrap around the wrists of his own hands which held her face delicately, his thumbs stroking underneath her eyes wiping away her tears. She focused on his voice as he spoke soothingly, "Hey, hey, I'm right here N/n, I'm right here."
"Barry?" Y/n choked causing his eyes to well up with tears before he closed them and his jaw clenched. Resting his forehead against hers he spoke lovingly, "It's alright, I'm right here sweetheart. I promise."
Y/n closed her own eyes and focused on her soulmate's soothing voice as he continued to whisper sweet nothings to her. When the pain in her chest became a dull throb, she pulled away only slightly, so that she could look Barry in the eye as she asked. "Who are they?"
Barry pulled away and turned his body so that Y/n could look at his copy and Iris closely, the both of whom were already watching Barry and her with frowns and furrowed brows. Barry ignored their confused looks as he introduced, "Y/n, this is Barry and Iris from Earth-2, our doppelgangers. They were about to get killed by Zoom so we took them here to protect them for the time being while we figured out what to do," Barry then turned his attention to the doppelgangers, "Guys, this is Y/n, my soulmate."
"Soulmate? So you aren't married to, or mated to Iris here?" The other Barry asked looking completely scandalized at the thought. Barry, her Barry, look as if he was about to slap his doppelganger silly but Y/n just let out a watery laughed, her own tears finally slowing down as she explained and pointed to Eddie, "No, Eddie and Iris are happily together and soulmates here. Besides I think it would be kind of weird, didn't you two grow up as siblings?' Y/n finished as she directed that question to her own Barry. She could feel the tension leave him as he huffed out a laugh and gave a nod, "Yeah, I mean, I did have a crush on her when I was younger but it was made very clear very early on she wasn't my soulmate so I gave up on that silly crush. She's been my sister ever since."
Y/n rubbed his arm soothingly, noticing that he was still very uncomfortable with everything going on. But he only stiffened further when Iris' doppelganger blurted out, "Oh, that's why he seemed so awkward when I kissed him!"
"I'm sorry, he got frisky with you?!" The other Barry yelled more than a little outraged.
"You kissed my doppelganger?" Y/n heard a familiar voice say beside her, causing her to turn and see Iris dressed as she would normally be. Even Eddie looked uncomfortable with this information as did everyone else. None more so than Barry who looked like he was one second away from bolting, with Y/n in tow if his hand twitching as it held her hip tightly was anything to go by. But her own thoughts were quietly drawn in on the fact that Iris, their Iris, didn't look disturbed by this information as everyone else did. And that didn't sit well with her at all. Y/n's defensiveness immediately rose to the surface as she turned on Doppelganger Barry and Iris, who she was looking forward to calling sister one day, as she snapped, "Do you two have selective hearing. She kissed him, not the other way around."
"Your not mad?" Her Barry asked quietly. Y/n's two toned eyes flitted towards his green ones where she sent him a smirk and flirted, "Of course not. As long as you didn't kiss her on purpose. But... I don't like the idea of another woman's lips being the last ones you touched. I'm gonna have to remedy that." Y/n was pleased by the hitch in his breath and his dilating pupils which found their way to her lips. His eyes staring at them with longing as he nodded, "I find those terms agreeable. Should we go now?"
Y/n chuckled before saying, "We should get these two settled in first Barr. Then I think I promised you a hero's reward once you returned home." She watched intrigued as lightning danced in his eyes before he closed them and pulled her closer as he tried to take a calming breath, "Later, got it. Are you sure we can't leave now? I think they can handle them-"
"Barry," she chuckled in warning causing him to groan and open his eyes as he glared ahead of him in determination, "Right, right. That can wait. Later .... not too much later though right?"
"All good things come to those who wait," Y/n giggled causing Barry to huff, "That's not fair. Waiting for me takes an eternity."
Pulling him down she whispered in his ear, "If you can wait, I'll wear the special present I got just for you tonight." She pulled back to watch his face go blank and a blush consume his cheeks. A spark of lightning danced off his forehead and causing the group to laugh in amusement as Cisco said, "Whatever you said N/n, I think it broke him."
They chuckled some more as a minute later Barry sparked to life as he said, "Yeah. Let's wait, waiting sounds good." Y/n giggled before kissing his cheek softly and turning back towards the Earth 2 refugees and asking, "So, how did you two meet?"
The tension broke between the couple, both seemingly relieved that Barry's soulmate (even from a different Earth and a different Barry) seemed to think them worthy of their time. Y/n could only assume they thought so much of her because she was the Flash's soulmate here, a superhero they also knew of and valued back on their Earth.
Iris smiled up adoringly at her husband when she said, "I met him on my first case as a detective." The other Barry blushed as he turned towards his wife and smiled adoringly while Iris continued, "He was just this adorable bumbling CSI that had the tendency to ramble when he got nervous or excited and while many of the other detectives found him annoying. I just found it so endearing. I was flirting with him trying to see if he felt the same, but he just didn't seem to get it." E-2 Barry blushed while calm laughter filled the Cortex and Barry said spoke up in his defense, "Don't worry, I've been told I'm rather clueless too." Y/n only hummed as she melted into her soulmate's side and gave the couple another reassuring smile as she asked, "So how did you two find out you were each other's soulmates?"
E-2 Barry spoke up this time, his eyes turning a touch sad as he clutched his own mate close to his side, "A year after working together, Iris got caught up in a case that went deeper than we thought possible.... There was corruption in our department, and she and I were the only ones who discovered it, but they didn't realize that I also knew. They only took Iris hostage.... and she would have died that night if I didn't feel the connection through our soul bond." E-2 Iris rubbed her husband's back reassuringly before saying in a more playful tone, "After I was fully recovered, we decided that there was no point in waiting. He kissed me breathless and we've been together ever since. We got married six months ago."
"Congratulations," Y/n praised genuinely happy for the couple in front of her. They thanked her in unison with matching grins before E-2 Barry's smile fell slightly as his brow furrowed, "I don't mean to seem rude... but... how did you two find out you were soulmates? You two don't have matching scars."
Y/n felt Barry stiffen beside her but she laughed easily and looked up at her own Barry adoringly, "Well this knucklehead decided to go and get struck by lightning and got his powers from that. His scar healed up, but what you see on me, is what he would have looked like if the lightning hadn't mixed with the Dark Matter from the Particle Accelerator and made him the Flash." E-2 Iris frowned as did E-2 Barry as they looked between the power couple before asking the full figured woman, "It doesn't bother you? That him being the Flash could give you more scars?"
Y/n sucked in a harsh breath before her face hardened and she spoke with such strong conviction she left no room for argument, "I'm proud of Barry for doing what he believes is right. He could very easily become another Zoom, but he's using his powers for good, and to help others. And until this past Christmas, I thought he was dead, I didn't get any other scars, so if he did get hurt from being the Flash he healed quick enough it didn't affect me." Team Flash turned to Y/n in surprise at this information, before they exchanged looks with each other as Cisco added, "That explains so much!"
Y/n's eyes flicked over towards her friend, her brows still furrowed into a hard glare as she asked, "What does?"
Caitlin stepped in and supplied, "We were just curious as to why you thought Barry could be dead when we first met you. He had so many injuries that would have left scars if he didn't have super healing that we were sure you must have had over the months he became the Flash. But now it's gotten me curious as to how you now have that scar and Barry doesn't?"
"Well, maybe Barry did have it initially," Harry added, easily stepping into the head father figure of Team Flash that had been empty since the Fake Wells died last year. Barry noted how easily they all got distracted to the scientific aspect of things rather quickly but couldn't find it in himself to care as he asked, "How do you figure?"
"Well, our initial hypothesis was that Y/n got scars just like the rest of of the soulmate's in the world, which would be immediate, and whatever scars didn't show on you, would be evident on her. But now we know that all of your injuries never showed up on her all those months that you two never knew each other. What if, the Dark Matter didn't change your DNA instantaneously? What if you did have that scar? Long enough for it to effect Miss L/n through your soul bond? It would have given her the scar and sent her in the nine month coma along with you." Harry hypothesized as he began to draw on a whiteboard the timeline between the two.
Eddie spoke up next as he nodded along as he studied the timeline, "It would have been quick though, because I discovered Barry in his lab not even two minutes later and he didn't have a scar when we saw him." Harry pointed at Eddie appreciatively before adding in a two minute window while Barry grinned and fist bumped Eddie who responded in kind. The other two from E-2 looked at the group around them intrigued but confused before their Iris spoke up next to Eddie, "This is all really interesting, but what does this have to do with anything?"
Caitlin explained calmly, "Well, with the rise in number of Metahumans we don't know what that exactly entails for their soulmate's and the bond between them. So it's quite interesting to see in real time the effective bond of soulmates between Meta and Human. What would be another great study is the bond between Meta and Meta as well. And obviously we would need more than just Barry and Y/n here to collect all of our data, but we now have a baseline."
"You guys have a really great support Team here, you two are lucky. We're sorry for any offenses we may have caused with our questions, we're just... curious, this is all so new," E-2 Iris broke through as she stared at Y/n and Barry with acceptance. Y/n's eyes flitted up toward E-2 Barry who also gave her a small lift of his lips and a tilt of head in agreement. Y/n gave them her own but shifted closer to her soulmate for comfort. Barry unconsciously held her closer, sensing Y/n's exhaustion, he turned to Caitlin and said, "We need to find them a place to stay while they're staying here. I'd offer up STAR LABS, but Harry is staying here and seeing as his doppleganger is a well known killer, he can't be wandering around."
Cisco nodded with pursed lips, "We seriously need to add more bedding areas here. It's not like we have don't have the space."
"Yes, but we're workaholics Ramon, if you Allen, and Snow all had place to sleep here versus going home, you'd probably stay here. Hell, you practically keep this place stashed with your grocery list," Harry sassed backed good-naturedly. Y/n could only tiredly giggle as the three scientists who were called out hung there head in shame, knowing Harry was right. Cisco muttering, "Don't have to be mean about it, geez."
Joe cut in with a fond shake of his head before saying to Barry, "They can stay with me Barr, out of everyone here I think I am the one who here who has the space."
Iris frowned and folded her arms, "We have space, don't we Eddie?" With everyone's attention on the blonde detective, he could only shift uncomfortably as his gaze flitted to the two Barry's holding their soulmates. Understanding was clear on both of their faces, E-2 Barry, knowing it would be difficult to see someone else be with a soulmate that looked like his own; and Barry, knowing how awkward and uncomfortable this whole ordeal was in the first place. For that, Eddie was grateful that he knew Barry enough to understand how truly apologetic he was about this situation, and he was grateful that E-2 Barry seemed similar. It was the latter who spoke up surprising the room, as he seemed less confident compared to his Earth 1 counterpart, "Thank you for the offer Iris, but I think for both of our sakes, we'll stay with Joe. It would be the best option for everyone I think."
Iris frowned but the rest of the Cortex seemed to have relaxed. With his gaze shifting down towards his full-figured soulmate, Barry exclaimed, "Alright, now that that's settled, I think we're gonna retire for the night."
Without waiting for a response, Barry grabbed Y/n's plush waist, pulling her close before speeding out of Speed Labs.
Y/n wasn't happy in the slightest since the E-2 refugee's had entered their Earth. It wasn't that she disliked the West-Allen's. They were very nice, and frequented Saints and Sinners while she worked, making her day go by quickly. But, she didn't like how Iris was starting to look at her soulmate because of them.
They still had family dinners, the Wests. And since the West-Allen's were living with Joe, and Barry was his unofficial kid, Barry and Y/n (when she could go) would also be there, and it was when Bart and Iris were sharing their lives together, that Iris, their Iris would share her's and Barry's. And it was made very clear to Y/n that she was easily replaceable.
Joe didn't seem to realize what was going on, but Eddie had a constant frown on his face, just as Y/n had one on her's. She may have even chalked this all up to be a part of her fanciful imaginations, the jealousy of Iris' and Barry's close relationship running rampant. But with how uncomfortable Barry looked, she couldn't help but feel that Iris was doing this on purpose.
It was at one of these very dinner's where she had finally snapped.
Y/n could hear the rest of the Wests (unofficial or otherworldly) laughing as they often talked about their past while sitting in the living room. A frown was permanently drawn on her face, her heart aching in a dull throb in her chest as she listened on to their jovial noises while she prepared the cocktails in the kitchen. Her eyes shifted down her body where she wore what she thought was a cute outfit at first. Black nylons, in thigh high black boots, a burgundy suede mini skirt, and a black long sleeve shirt that hugged her curves. Only, it didn't feel so pretty on her when Iris had turned up wearing the same outfit, making her feel insecure in her own skin. A feeling she hadn't felt since that woman left scars on her back.
Her eyes flicked upward towards the window, where it was pitch black outside, and her reflection was staring back at her. She felt her plump lip waver as her insecurities began to rise, her eyes immediately seeking out her Lichtenberg figure and her clouded grey eye. Her thoughts began to question why Barry even loved her, if that one time when they made love if he was disgusted. They never did do anything after he came back from E-2. He had told her that he didn't want to push her into anything and could feel she was still upset, but a whole four weeks had went by and he has yet to make any more time for her for dates, or even to love her as he did before. Instead, most of his time he spent with Iris and their Earth two counterparts.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she saw Eddie's reflection in the window, making her turn towards the dejected looking cop. He had also seemed to have lost some of his color, looking pasty and white. His usual golden hair, looked more dull, and the deep purple bruises under his eyes emphasized his lack of sleep that matched Y/n's. Eddie's lips quirked into a half-hearted smile, "Do you need help bringing those in."
"I'm a bartender Eddie, I think I can handle seven glasses on a tray," Y/n tried to go for a lighthearted approach, but winced when it came out harsh and cynical.
Eddie chuckled anyways, though it lacked his normal charisma, "Oh, I don't doubt it, it's just... it gets too much sometimes. Being near... them..." he ended weakly, his voice cracking as his eyes fell. The plus sized woman felt her own heart throb painfully as her eyes fell back towards the glasses on the counter. with a sigh and a smile, she nodded at Eddie, "Sure Eds, I could use a hand."
Eddie smiled and approached her, carrying three of the seven glasses, while she balanced the other four with only the steady precision of a waitress. Eddie walked slowly behind her as she walked in more confidently, but stopped when her two toned eyes looked up and saw Iris laughing and touching Barry's chest. Her jaw clenched as Iris loudly exclaimed to their married counterparts, "You know, it's so funny, but apparently in the future Barry and I get married too. We saw the article of his disappearance, and it always says Iris West-Allen as the one who wrote it."
Glass breaking made the whole house go silent, all eyes once again turning to Y/n.
Barry stood up and reached out to her, "N/n-"
"No. Don't fucking touch me," Y/n spat as she glared up at her soulmate, angry tears cascading down her face. Barry visibly flinched but backed away as Y/n's chest rose and fell heavily, her eyes finding Iris' again who looked considerably paler. The dopplegangers had looked uncomfortable as did Joe, but she could hear Eddie behind her struggling to keep a steady breath.
Finding Iris' eyes once more she glared at her," You know Iris, you are one cruel person. I had always looked forward to the day that I called you sister, but now, I have half a mind to break my bond with Barry." She heard Barry let out a sharp gasp, and saw in her peripheral vision that he staggered backwards because of her words. She couldn't help when her own face contorted in pain, but fought it off and glowered at her once more, "You should be ashamed of how you've treated not only my bond with Barry, but your own bond with Eddie. And if he was a crueler man, I can guarantee you, that bullshit you've been pulling on him wouldn't be left unpunished."
Iris' eyes filled with tears as she turned them towards the blond cop who immediately turned his eyes away. Tiredly, he added to Joe as he handed him the drinks, "I think... I'll just go home now. I can't stand being here for another minute."
"Eddie," Iris started as she stood up to approach him, but recoiled when he only shot her a cold look. And she could finally see how tired and heartbroken he really was, "Find somewhere else to stay tonight, I can't even stand to look at you for a minute longer." He finished quietly, his eyes immediately searching anywhere else. Grabbing his coat he turned back to Joe and gave him a soft smile, "I'll see you tomorrow Sir."
Joe could only nod sadly in acknowledgement, as he watched his partner walk out the front door and shut it quietly behind him. Making a mental note to himself, he knew he would as the Captain to give him a week off to deal with this and heal. He felt bad for not realizing sooner what was causing his partner to look so tired and dejected, and he knew having a few days to himself would be best.
All eyes turned back to Y/n as she spoke quietly to Barry, "I was once so excited to be apart of your family, and felt so blessed to have you as my soulmate. But now I just feel like a fool for thinking I could ever complete you." Barry's blue eyes began to water, and he opened his mouth to argue that there was no other but her, but she didn't give him the chance. She turned and stormed out, slamming the door behind her.
!Trigger Warning!
Y/n was sat on the couch, wearing her gift to Barry that she never got to show him, while she watched Lord of the Rings and ate her favorite ice cream. She felt like a cliche, crying, while eating her favorite comfort food, drinking her bottle of Rosa. But she couldn't care less, it was honestly a comfort. And if she didn't know that Lisa would report back to Len, who would in turn kill her soulmate, she would have extended her an invitation while she vented. But her pseudo siblings were much too overprotective of her, and despite the pain Barry put her through (unwittingly so) she still loved him.
With a long suffering sigh, Y/n's eyes stayed on the screen where the ever valliant Aragorn was fighting to protect the hobbits. "Why can't you be real?" she asked quietly as she whisfully watched the noble man.
She heard Barry before she saw him. His tell tale sound of vibrating through her door caused her to look up in shock, her cheeks heating up as she looked down at her barely clothed body. Barry had stopped, his puffy eyes scanning her as his jaw dropped. His own face covered in a scarlet flush though Y/n could see he had been crying.
Clearing her throat she acted as if she wasn't wearing a sheer skimpy cloth that barely covered her intimates, "I didn't expect to see you here tonight."
Barry frowned as he looked her over, "Then who were you dressing up for?"
A sharp sting in her chest made her wince, she didn't like that he didn't seem to trust her. But, she couldn't deny that she wouldn't think the same thing if he had said he wanted to break their bond. Her eyes drifted back to the TV as she said, "For Aragorn and Boromir mostly." Barry's eyes drifted to the screen and she saw his shoulders relax before he turned back to her as she muttered into her glass, "Plus I just wanted to feel pretty."
Barry didn't hesitate to take the last couple steps to where she sat on the couch and sit next her, pulling her into a breathtaking kiss. She felt her tension melt as she sighed against his lips, bringing her arms up to wrap around his neck, where she played with his brown strands. Y/n groaned when he pulled away, but was pleasantly surprised when he didn't go far, his forehead resting against hers as his eyes searched her own, "You aren't just pretty N/n, you're perfect. And I was an idiot to ever make you think I could ever want anyone else but you."
Y/n's face contorted to slight pain as she admitted, "But earlier at dinner, Iris said that you two are gonna be married in the future."
Barry closed his eyes and groaned in annoyance as he cursed his unofficial sister under his breath causing Y/n's two toned eyes to widen and a surprise giggle to leave her mouth. Running his hands through her hair he shook his head, "Y/n, you are the only one for me. I don't know why that stupid article said Iris West-Allen, but I know that no matter what, I won't marry her in any future. Because it's you that I want to share my last name with, its you that I want to have kids with. The only future I want, is the one where your in it."
She felt her eyes sting with tears once more, her own doubt melting away causing her to sniffle and ask jokingly, "Why couldn't you have said that earlier at the Wests?"
Barry joined in her watery chuckle before admitting, "Because unfortunately for you, I'm sometimes an idiot. And also, it was nice to see you put Iris in her place. She was making me uncomfortable." Y/n pulled away to look at him as she mumbled, "I knew it."
"Knew what?" Barry asked.
"I knew you didn't like how she was acting around you. I just knew it, because if you did, and you knew what was going on," Y/n trailed off, as her voice cracked in heartbreak at the very thought. Barry didn't need her to continue to understand that it would have broken her if he ever liked Iris' affections. He couldn't help the shiver of disgust at the thought of being in any form of intimate relationship with her like the one he shared with his perfect soulmate. But instead of dwelling on those thoughts, his eyes scanned her body that was practically bare in front of him.
He felt his jeans begin to tighten, but ignored it as his eyes trailed down her lichtenberg figure, that started on the left side of her face, and trailed down her breast, down to her navel. A sudden urge to trace it with his lips entered his head, and he couldn't resist it, kissing her scarred face, before following the trail down, leaving wet kisses and goosebumps in his wake.
He heard her shaky exhale as she questioned, "Barry?"
"Hmm?" He hummed distractedly as he sucked on her soft plush skin of her stomach.
"What are you doing?" She asked more breathily than before. Barry pulled away and answered earnestly, "Admiring you, and our scars." He watched as her one pupil dilated, and she moaned as she flopped her head back, "Barry..."
He could only chuckle before his eyes honed in on a jagged scar on her knee. He was suddenly hit by the memories of how he got it as he traced it with a bitter smile, "Damn, I had hoped that one would have been gone since it faded on me."
Y/n's two toned eyes fought to focus on the scar he was tracing as she tried to control the raging waves of want for her soulmate. Blinking away her lust, her eyes found the scar on her knee and she couldn't help the laugh that escaped as she also remembered the day she got it, "Yeah, I won't deny I also cursed you that day, you ruined my favorite pair of jeans. It was stained with blood and I could never get it out. Every time I tried walking, it reopened. I got in so much trouble because I always ruined my jeans." The two shared a quiet laugh, before she asked, "So... how did you get it?"
Barry sighed as his eyes found her face, "I had a bully, Tony Woodward, he always beat me up after school, stole my lunch, you know the typical bully. Well one day, I decided to stand up to him, and he beat me up pretty good. Pushed me into the bleachers, my knee was so swollen after that, I was afraid he broke it."
"Yeah, it hurt a lot," Y/n sympathized as she ran her fingers through his wind blown strands. Barry gave her a bitter smile, "I didn't want you to have that one still."
Y/n only gave him a sad smile, before her eyes scanned his face and she touched his left temple where there was a miniscule scar, so small that if you didn't know where to look you'd miss it. She caressed it, her lips tipped upward slightly before she said, "So you still have my scar. You know, I got this at my graduation. I got drunk and slipped, hit my head on the stone steps at my friends house. I had to get stitches."
Barry's eyes widened as he tried not to laugh, "Seriously?"
"Yes, I was truly a drunken sight, I couldn't even feel the pain, I think I have the picture of me still, covered in blood and smiling like there was nothing wrong."
Barry groaned as he laughed and let his head fall on her supple chest, "I was taking an important test when that one showed up, I couldn't even finish it because I was so dizzy and had a major headache."
Y/n surprised him with her unfiltered laughter, causing him to look up at her in wonder as she tried to say, "I'm so sorry. That must have been so disappointing for you." He joined her for a bit, the two exchanging soft kisses in between before they both sobered up.
With a soft exhale, Barry's hands found their way to the scars on her back where he felt her immediately stiffen. Her body recoiled away from his touch, causing him to frown but to say in understanding, "It doesn't have to be tonight, or tomorrow, but when your ready, can you please tell me about these?"
Barry could feel her breathing quickening in her panicked state, causing him to rip of his shirt, and take her hands so that she could feel his matching set on his own skin. Her breathing became so quiet the moment she felt them, her two toned eyes searched his as he said, "The first ones showed up not long after my father was arrested and wrongly accused of my Mom's murder. They only multiplied from there." Guilt began to fill her eyes so he continued, "I know how much it hurt, and I know how alone you felt, but I was right there with you. Even if I wasn't in the same room, I was there with you, just as you were there with me when I got struck by lightning. And even though my own scars faded on my body, I never lost yours."
Y/n still watched him with a guarded expression, although it relaxed some as he went on, "You have been a part of my life since I was eleven. I never knew why I had these scars, or what kind of sick person could put them on you. But just know I never resented you for them, or blamed you in any way. All I knew was that I felt love for you, for your strength to keep going despite the pain you faced. It gave me strength too."
Y/n let out a shaky breath before she willingly traced the scars on his back, wincing every once in a while before she began, "My parents died in a car accident in the beginning of summer when I was eleven. I was left in the care of my grandma, who hated me. She blamed me for the accident because I wanted to go on a road trip, and they died because of it. She couldn't understand how I was left unharmed while my parents died, she thought I was cursed."
She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath when the memories got too much before opening them when Barry spoke reassuring words in her ear reminding her he was there, she was safe, and she'd never feel that way again. Y/n shot him a watery smile before saying softly, "Her hatred for me grew, she became cruel but never laid a hand on me. She'd make snide comments about my weight, make me go to bed hungry, she began to hit me when I got her angry, but things changed for the worst when she began to drink again.
"She always had a problem with her liquor, it turned her into a mean drunk, that's what my Mom always said. She sobered up for my Mom, but she found herself drinking again the year Mom died. And her aggression only multiplied. Sometime mid November, her slaps became whips to the back. She'd strip me down in front of her friends, and they'd take turns beating me with a belt."
Barry had to hold back a gasp as his face twisted into disgust at the actions of the very person who was supposed to love and take care of her. He suddenly knew why the Snarts were so protective of her now, she was a fellow survivor.
Blinking back to the present, Barry brushed his hand through her hair, "God N/n, I'm so sorry. You never deserved that."
Y/n smiled at him as if she didn't believe his words, shrugging her shoulders she dismissed, "It's alright, it was a long time ago. I got away from her after graduation. I never looked back."
Barry shook his head, not liking how she easily dismissed her own pain but he didn't argue with her. Instead he kissed her soundly on the lips before saying, "I love you Y/n."
Her breathing hitched as her pupil dilated, "Say it again... Please."
His mouth stretched into a grin, "I love you Y/n."
Her own mouth twisted into a smile before she kissed him breathless, "I love you too Barry."
He eagerly brought her closer to his body, as their tongues fought for dominance. Her plush thighs wrapped around his slim waist, hugging him closer to her heat, causing him to gasp into her mouth. She gazed up at him coyly, and would have continued to kiss him, but both of them jumped apart when they heard Gandalf yell,
"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"
The two looked up at the screen in surprise before they both chuckled, Barry resting his head against hers. Stroking his thumb on her plump bottom lip, Barry's eyes searched her face before suggesting, "Why don't we take this somewhere else?"
"To the bedroom?" She asked as she bit her bottom lip to stop her growing grin.
Barry could only chuckle as he sped through the process of cleaning her snacks away, and grabbing her waist as he rushed her to the bedroom. When Y/n blinked, she found herself thrown on her bed, with Barry crawling over top her as he confirmed, "To the bedroom."
i have a jerk wol idea in the back of my head (he's an m!viera) that is founded on the idea of "what kind of within-reason jerk can still be the warrior of light (and not a total cartoon villain) but have like all the scions justifiably unable to stand him or want to be around him by the endwalker patches via various interpersonal conflicts" (i think this is a reaction to how many "my wol hates the scions and they arent friends and the scions view my wol as an object" concepts i see. like what would the opposite be?). he's very self-centered and kind of vain and sort of callous. he firmly believes that he is the best person in the room and that no problems are ever his fault. bad at working with other people and at collaborating. complains. probably the worst person to make the champion of the world but well you're all stuck with him now because he time-traveled and god knows he's the special boy. timeloop.
anyway i think he and thancred were fwb back in ARR and then picked it back up in HVW patches while thancred was like extremely depressed and miserable and it was very unhealthy for thancred meanwhile [wol] (i dont have a name for him yet) was just like "can you be fun again. god you're so boring now. can you lighten up". anyway flash forward to shb, they meet up again, they're resting in the bookman's shelves before traipsing about il mheg, [wol] and thancred are left alone together as urianger goes and shows the twins where to sleep (ryne goes with). [wol] is like "you cleaned yourself up, excellent, let's resume our arrangement" and thancred is like "oh. uh. sorry. no thanks" and [wol] is like "What? Why." and thancred's like "i'm... spoken for now" "Who." "...urianger. we've grown close." "HIM? that dumpy little thing? pull the other one." "i'm serious." "... you really have let your standards fall since you've been stuck here, huh." "excuse me?" "it's just - (snort) you know. the fancy new outfit doesn't really hide a plain face. and the way he talks..." "i would appreciate it if you wouldn't talk about him like that." "i'm just speaking my mind. being honest. but i guess you're not that into honesty, if you're into that." they almost start yelling but then urianger comes back and is like "... is aught amiss?" and thancred says "no. right?" and [wol] eyerolls and says "i'll just leave you two alone since i'm not wanted" and urianger is just like ??? and thancred is >:/ (they aren't Together Officially yet actually)
i think y'shtola hated his vibes since day 1 and views him as an annoying necessity but mostly keeps that under wraps. during hvw patches he's rude to matoya and she doesn't like that. then she tries to confront him about how he's kind of using thancred but he doesn't react well and he says something kind of shitty about her not being able to see and from then on they both know they dislike each other and it is very chilly between them. they are both self-assured enough to cope fine with it but they never talk about anything outside of Work unless y'shtola is trying to go like "you can't fucking do that, you're being an asshole to my friends" (confrontational and direct personality trait) and he blows her off like Whatever, i know you hate me, im not going to listen to anything you say. i think of all the scions she hates him the most
g'raha i think really idolized him from all the books and stories and thought he was really cool and confident and handsome back during the CT raids and then throughout shb patches and endwalker gets the rose-colored glasses stripped away. the crush dies. [wol] thought he was cute but kind of dumb and thought about starting something up since g'raha seemed willing but never did.
there's more brewing but that's jerkwol
Sienna stepped into the room, the aroma of pizza lingering in the air. "You're just in time. Did you bring the pizza?" Her friend– Nabi asked, revealing the items she had bought. "Yeah, and got some chicken too," she smiled excitedly.
Their living room was transformed into a haven for a movie marathon, a night to savour their well-deserved chill and create fond memories. Nabi's eyes sparkled with excitement as she accepted the food. "Well, then you should go clean yourself and come back here so we can start our movie night."
"I'll be quick," Sienna chimed.
After a brisk wash, the refreshing feeling enveloped her. A slight relief washed over her, even though her raging hormones from that time of the month still caused her physical discomfort.
While picking up her pyjamas, she noticed a mountain of clean clothes at the edge of her bed. Sighing, she decided to restore order before rejoining her friends. Sienna's frustration grew when the drawer refused to close. It wasn't as if she had bought new clothes for her drawer to betray her.
After several failed attempts, she couldn't contain her anger and punched the drawer in frustration.
"I missed him," she mumbled, catching her breath. The reason for her inconvenience dawned on her – her clothes weren't folded the way they used to be when he was around. How foolish of her.
Leaving her dark room, Sienna went to the kitchen where Kai noticed her friend's slightly bruised hand. "Oh? What happened to your hand?" she asked in confusion.
"Oh, it's nothing. I just need to run water on it," Sienna replied, brushing off the concern.
"Make sure you put ointment and bandage it after cooling it off," Kai advised.
"Yeah, will do," Sienna responded, putting on a brave smile beneath her troubled emotions.
"Oh, by the way, Jaehyun came by this afternoon looking for you," Nabi announced, interrupting the moment. Kai recalled the earlier encounter, suspecting a disagreement.
"Did you guys fight?" Kai asked, and Sienna's expression grew timid. She didn't want to discuss him; it was giving her a headache.
"He brought red velvet cupcakes," Nabi added, trying to lighten the mood. Sienna glanced at the coffee table, spotting the cupcakes – a favourite treat of theirs.
"You mentioned it's your first day of 'red days.' I guess having Jaehyun be part of your monthly flow app is so useful," Nabi giggled, proud of the gesture despite the situation.
"Heh, I guess so," Sienna chirped, trying to keep the conversation light while tending to her hand. "Why does he always have great timing?" she pondered, glancing at her phone with unread messages from Yuno piling up.
As they settled into their movie night, Kai brought up the topic of sharing expenses in a relationship. The conversation flowed, intertwining with the movie's background noise.
"I totally agree with you gals, but if the guy made you feel uncomfortable throughout the date, I'd rather pay my half and be done with it," Sienna commented, sharing her perspective.
Kai expanded on the aftermath, "So he wouldn't have the chance to point stupid things. Such as he paid the whole time, but he would act like a sad boy or an ass since the date didn't end well, right?"
"Exactly! Ugh, that's the feeling I hate," Sienna raged, hugging a pillow. After her emotional outburst, she finally indulged in the red velvet cupcake she had been craving.
As the night deepened, the snow outside intensified, creating a cosy atmosphere in their little bubble of friendship. "But if you think about it like this, he wasted your valuable time." Kai offered a new perspective. “So you at least did not waste your own money”
"But that's not what she came for in the first place," Nabi pointed out, settling the situation. “Besides we all know we can earn more money than to live like that.”
"I'd still rather drown myself than give him the privilege to think he spoiled me with his own money," Sienna expressed her feelings, hormones adding a touch of intensity.
The three friends continued their night, sharing deep conversations and appreciating each other's presence. Unbeknownst to them, Sienna was truly grateful, even amid the challenges she hid behind her facade.
As the last days of spring dwindled, Yuno felt a magnetic pull towards the enchanting nights, eager to grasp the remnants of the season before the relentless heat of summer took over. The crisp wind, a balm for his cluttered mind, whispered promises of clarity.
"This feels nice," he murmured, eyes fixed on the captivating night unfolding in the park by the river. Soft lights adorned the streets, and cherry blossoms, in their final dance, swirled around, accompanied by the gentle melody emanating from his headphones.
On a whim, Yuno invited Johnny for a spontaneous bike ride, half-expecting a decline. Much to his surprise, his best friend agreed, and they found themselves in a nearby park, a place etched with memories of their shared adventures.
Yuno, seeking an escape from the confines of home and work, embraced the freedom of riding through the city. The wind carried untold stories, and the cityscape unfolded its secrets.
"Hey, there's no one in the court," Johnny observed, diverting Jaehyun's attention. "Wanna play?" Jaehyun suggested.
"Yeah, it's been a while. It's going to be fun," Johnny agreed, infusing the atmosphere with infectious enthusiasm. After a few spirited rounds, they decided to take a breather, relishing the camaraderie that defined their friendship.
Perched on a bench around the court, they savoured water and ice cream. Johnny playfully teased, "Jae, not to sound like a jealous second babe, but don't you usually ask Sienna for these?" Laughter bubbled up, but beneath the banter, Jaehyun grappled with emotions threatening to surface.
START OF FLASHBACK.
The dark room lit up with the moonlight and the desk lamp near her, Yuno smiled seeing Sienna was waiting at his place.
He closed their proximity by hugging her. Yuno always takes this kind of opportunity whenever she waits for him to come home after a long day from work. He feels relieved from his stress even with just one hug from his favourite person.
After letting him hug her, Yuno stared at her with curiosity “You’d spend the night here?”
Sienna gulped avoiding his gaze. "You went over my head and paid for my University fees without telling me." Her voice was monotone, standing up from where they were sitting.
"Oh, I guess it's too late for a surprise now." He looks up at her, smiling giddily. But, he recognizes her demeanour changes negatively, making his face drop in worry.
“Let me remind you, I'm not a girl who you could just simply pay for, Yuno.” She scoffs painfully. “If you think your grand gesture was cute, well news flash I’m disappointed.” Sienna attempts to calm her voice down, “You didn’t even bother to have this conversation with me!” But alas her blood boils with her tears slowly falling from her eyesight becoming an ocean of pain.
Yuno stood up straight. “It’s just money, Sienna.” He chortles, brushing his hair out of his face.“I don't want you to be stressed because of money.” Yuno huffs out, confused by her action. “I could always make more money for me– for us.” Yet he strives to get close to her, cupping her face with his hands softly caressing her stained cheeks. “And I can help you with that, can’t you see it? I want to support you so you can reach your goal!” His voice and face emitted torment, he hated how this situation occurred.
Her birthday was coming up, and all he wanted was to do something that alleviated her burden.
She removes his hands from her face aggressively, moving away from him.
“You think my family and I can’t handle our shit?” she sarcastically laughed, trying to stop her sobbing, though it was difficult to execute. Anxiously she bit her bottom lip harder.
He could sense her walls starting to appear once again, his nightmare slowly coming to life.
“Sure I'm struggling, my family is struggling.” The young lady asserts, “But I've experienced far much worse than this bullshit and we’ve survived.'' Sienna picked up a pillow and slammed it on the coach. “Why can’t you believe in me?!” With every word she screams out, the pillow gets slammed on the coach. Relinquishing her anger through the use of this method. She stopped her antics, breathing heavily. Sienna peer dead in the eyes of him. “I just needed more time to accomplish things, not all plans can sail smoothly.” Her voice cracked, eyes were gradually forming to puff.
“Sienna, I know how much you want to study again, despite not having it as your first choice with this course.” His body quivered, tears heavily forming as he scanned her figure.“Whenever I see how you recall your memories with your friends or when you help them study, you always have that spark.” He carries on describing his affection towards Sienna and how he witnessed her in the past years of their relationship. “I just want to bring that spark back.” He’s not the type who would just sit down on purpose. If he indeed has the means to help her out, even just a little he would do it in a heartbeat.
Life is hard and he desires to be a partner where she can lean onto him safely.
Yuno wanted to come closer to her, yet she immediately flinched and it broke his heart into pieces seeing her first instinct was to run away from him.
“Jeong Yuno, You’re not getting the point here.” Sienna sniffles as she shakes her head while gazing down on the floor. “We’re over.” she declares, with his furrowed brows “No.” He sternly demands.
She sneered, “After all of this, I'll do the grand gesture to finally break this relationship off.” With her last remark, her body evacuated from his place.
Yuno followed her out but she was too fast and he was too slow to handle the situation, he got lost finding her.
END OF FLASHBACK.
Jaehyun just bared his soul to Johnny, revealing the painful truth of his recent breakup with Sienna, a wound haunting him for three months. It marked a vulnerable moment for Jaehyun, who, until now, had grappled with the harsh reality and denial.
Unbeknownst to Jaehyun, Johnny already knew the heart-wrenching details. A week earlier, Kai, Johnny's girlfriend, had shared the relationship's demise with him. Though Kai hadn't intended to spill the beans, the weight of the secret pushed Johnny to convince her to share the truth.
The revelation left Johnny stunned. Sienna was dead serious with Kai, She didn’t want to entertain questions about them so only a few people got to know the real state of their relationship. Johnny unwittingly became one of those few.
Now, faced with Jaehyun's raw emotions, Johnny wrestled with the delicate balance between concern for his friend and utmost respect for their privacy. He had upheld his end of the bargain, bearing the weight of their shared secret. As a pillar of support, Johnny stood ready to help Jaehyun navigate the emotional turmoil, recognizing Yuno's need for that gentle push.
"How did you cope up?" Johnny delicately probed, shattering the unspoken barriers.
"After that night, every week I'd visit their house, hoping to find her. Eventually, I had to stop when a big project came my way. But I kept leaving messages, calls, even emails," Jaehyun confessed, his unwavering dedication to Sienna palpable. Two years into working with an architecture company, Sienna had been his anchor.
"Sometimes I'd order stuff to be delivered to their home. But after two months, I received a message from her. One message that I thought was my chance to come back into her life, and then I saw it." Jaehyun sighed deeply, the raw pain reflected in his eyes. "She sent: 'It's about time you stop this, don't tire yourself out."
That broke Yuno once again. It snapped his brain, and I focused on work, endless work, stuck at his place, never having an inch to socialize.
Earlier that morning, Jaehyun had grappled with anxiety before a crucial presentation. He dialled Sienna's number, seeking support, but as he hesitated his thumb hovered, preparing to drop the call. To his surprise, her mom picked up, offering words of encouragement and cheering him on.
"She hasn't told them," Johnny stated bluntly.
"No, and obviously I didn't have the heart to either," Jaehyun admitted, the weight of his emotions palpable. The conversation with Sienna's mom provided a brief respite, helping him get through the day and close a deal with clients.
"You're so down bad for Sienna," Johnny remarked, understanding the depth of his friend's emotions. As Jaehyun struggled to contain his feelings, Johnny encouraged him to let them out.
As if on cue, Jaehyun lets himself slowly reveal the emotions that’s been wanting to gush through his walls.
Well, to be fair, this wasn’t his first time crying. He sure had those little episodes in the craziest random time of the day where Yuno would have a mini breakdown remembering his situation with her.
Believe it or not, there was a particular night when he devestatedly couldn't sleep. He tried everything.
First, Yuno got himself up for a quick jog for him to wear out and took a warm shower, though it only made him feel more alive. So he resumed by drinking some wine as he watched a movie, played soothing music, and even read a book. But, it all went down the drain due to his brain failing to focus.
His last resort was masturbating. With no brainer, of course, he would think of her. Although, the fact that he remembers their moments together, he instead ended up crying that night and which made him fall asleep.
It was not the expected way, but it worked.
"I know I fucked up," Jaehyun confessed, tears flowing freely. "But how exactly? To the point she ended up breaking up with me?" The wounds deepened as he confronted the reality of his mistakes.
Johnny, offering comfort, reassured Jaehyun that Sienna's situation was tough. However, he pointed out that Jaehyun's well-intentioned actions were not executed correctly.
"Always remember this, Yuno. As much as you want to help people, you also have to remember where they're standing from. A good honest deed has a chance to appear as insensitive and patronizing," Johnny advised, hitting the core of the issue.
In the real world, complexities surpassed those of fairy tales and movies. Jaehyun realized he should have communicated with Sienna before assuming he could magically alleviate her problems.
Entering the diner, the music from the speakers greeted her. Setting the vibe already makes her feel at ease with the atmosphere where she’s hanging out tonight. Her gaze stopped wondering as she saw Kyujin and Minghao already sitting. Meanwhile, Seokmin was standing up talking on his phone. He has the right hunch that his friend has work left to discuss.
They greeted her as she put herself comfortably on her seat. She’s with one of her old university buddies. Due to her problem, she couldn’t keep up with her batch graduating on time. Nonetheless, they kept strong connections with each other even if they are now working and she’s back with her University life.
“Seokmin should have left his phone on aeroplane mode,'' Kyujin remarked as she shook her head from side to side. Minghao nodded, however, he pressed the thought “Well to be fair, it might be an emergency with work that he needs to mend.”
“At least he is paid though.” Sienna chimed smiling, Her friends knew for over those two years of her not attending university she was working on her corporate days before and tended to overtime as well. It’s not so different with her university work taking her life after hours, the only thing she was not paid to do overtime may it be her university and unfortunately her corporate days.
“Sorry about that, but no worries it won’t bother our dinner.” he smiled at them, “Give me your phone” Kyujin, as the mom of this group Seokmin simply followed her. “There.” his phone successfully turned out to be in aeroplane mode.
Sienna snorted, Seokmin was astounded by what her friend doing “I said I’m sorry” He pouted “Fine keep it on aeroplane mode. If there’s anything I’ll handle it tomorrow.” he said proudly, “Yeah, handle it on your working hours.'' Minghao, who is also a big advocate of work and life balance, reminded him as he patted his friend's hand.
As the night settles with them, Seokmin opens the topic “Nabi is out right with Jaemin’s family?” On the table while they started to eat their order.
The girl next to her nodded as she ate the cheezy fries ``Yeah and Kai, She has this workshop she needs to attend." She starts to explain her housemate's situation "So basically both of them will not be back until next week.''
With the new information, Kyujin excitedly clapped. “Well then, you have no excuses not to come. It’ll be fun. Besides, Mingyu deserves to have some OG guests.” Kyujin is always amazing at pursuing people and Sienna is always weak for her friend.
“Didn’t you say you wanted to drink this week, take this chance with us. It has free drinks and food anyway.” Comically his brows go up and down. “And you know what free food and drinks taste like.” He ends his last speech of temptation.
“A hit or miss.” She put her tongue out as she deadpans her friend.
Minghao laughed at the banter between Sienna and Seokmin. “We’re aware that you're not reliving the song ‘Stuck with U’ by Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber for letting yourself feel stuffed for a whole month in your apartment. ” He finally joined, even has the gut to make a joke out of her situation pulling a quote-unquote with his hand gestures. However, they were right Sienna when given a chance to stay at her comfort home would make the most out of it.
Although now she's on a dinner date with them; After a month of hibernation, she just now greeted the outside world properly. “It's not my fault that my subjects are eating me up. Besides, earlier I had to attend University onsite so plus points to that and now I’m already with you guys, here eating dinner.” Sienna puckered her lips, still up for this debate despite being conquered by those trio.
Seokmin snorted at Sienna’s last comment “Yeah, right!” letting his hand grab her head and squeeze it as if he was a crane and she’s a toy.
“Sizt no!” Kyujin pouted and shook her head daintily. “How about this since you’re already out of your cocoon, just try to spend some of the days this week outside.” she negotiates with the girl who does not care one bit about Seokmin’s antics as she’s busy munching her ice cream.
“Exactly, just end your week with good vibes, you’re no guard dog.” Minghao with his witty brain could not let her go, when those three come together it’s like Sienna is fighting against the world.
She sighs in front of them, letting her head roll over to her left side finally expressing her being defeated.
As if an accomplished couple made their child have nowhere to go but listen to them, Kyujin and Minghao high-fived each other and held their hands shakingly. It’s their mini-victory move. “If you guys keep being cute, I feel like ants would eat us up.” She joked.
Seokmin looked at the girl next to her cheekily “Oh Sienna, Sienna, Sienna” repeating her name in a sing-song tone, whilst shaking his head playfully. “You just miss someone.”
Minghao covered his mouth, acting surprised. “Offt Seokmin dropping the bomb.” Kyujin teased the fire, showing her actions with her hands dropping.
It’s been 8 months since the breakup.
Sienna squinted her eyes as if throwing daggers at him. “Oh, shut up.” She smacked his left shoulder.
Leaving them chuckling at their antics.
Quickly changing the subject, Sienna sits properly. “Fine, this Saturday I’ll attend Mingyu’s place.” Rolling her eyes dramatically “The booze should be great, or I'm out.”
Despite a busy schedule, Yuno got dragged out for a coffee successfully by his work partner Jungkook before they would drive to meet their client onsite.
Yuno’s eyes glanced at the interior of the cafe, and he stopped when he saw a familiar physique after a long time. It was Sienna focused on her laptop, wearing her signature hoodie with her glasses.
He and Jungkook sat near the cafe counter waiting for their order. The guy simply watched her and couldn't help but still have a longing feeling of adoration.
Of course, she’s not alone, she’s with two people that look like her classmates.
He smiled at his thoughts thinking she also might get dragged outside as well, which she truly needs. Sienna always tends to trap herself in her room, especially on a weekend; little sunlight isn’t enough for her.
Sensing that one of her classmates was about to look around, he avoided his stare at her and exactly with that their little buzzer turned on letting them know that their orders were complete to go.
On the other hand Sienna did mini stretches to her arms as Her eyes slowly looked outside the cafe and saw a familiar back, she steadily recognized when the view of the man got a good side view. “Oh it's Yuno...” she whispered, then it truly sank at her making her eyes widen, almost choking herself while she drank her matcha frappe.
“Omygod— Sienna!” Both of her friends reacted frantic, Giving her all the tissues they have to her.
"You good now? What happened?” Jungwoo queried and looked to where she was staring earlier, but failed to recognize what made their friend go nuts.
Sienna shakes her head “Oh no it’s nothing..” she tries to cover her tracks, could not even think of a proper excuse.
Seungkwan oozes suspicion with the younger girl but lets her know that it’s fine to not be forced to tell.
“I have this event I need to attend.” Jungwoo didn't prolong the weird air, taking the chance to express his dread.
Sienna laughed at the poor puppy. “Isn’t your parents' fundraising event?” Seungkwan recalled their conversation back then. “That's tough. Knowing your parents, they would want it to be perfect.” Sienna bluntly says. “Exactly, it’s going to be a pain in the neck.” Jungwoo rolled his eyes with exaggeration.
She isn’t well into those kinds of grand parties either. It only reminds her back then when she felt she was out of the picture whenever with Yuno.
The only thing she cares about is to support Yuno in whatever journey he has to accomplish, that's why she lets him take her in these events.
Nonetheless, some of the invitees couldn't be bothered hiding their expressions.
It continued until she ended up walking on eggshells while attending these events. She's well aware those people were irrelevant, and Sienna needed to be stronger.
However, with the compilation of Backhanded comments she receives:
"Well in your generation, love matters more."
"Oh darling, you'll have your time."
With those gazes, she could just disappear into thin air as if she were prey.
Little by little it consumed her.
Sienna’s train of thought snapped immediately.
"Earth to Sienna."
Seungkwan patted the girl's shoulder, bringing her back to their conversation.
"Sorry, what?"
Jungwoo pouted more than he could do and continued to ask them. "Are you guys free to be my dates this Saturday?" Hoping that they would agree to be together with his misery just to make something out of it and not worry about socializing much in the event.
"Pass." Seungkwan quickly replied while shaking his head left and right to his friend, "I got other things to assemble from our course organization seminar."
Sienna couldn't help but chuckle at Jungwoo's reaction when he started begging with his actions through his hands. "Sorry, but I have a party to attend as well." Pursing her lips tightly.
Seungkwan grabbed Sienna's left arm, wanting her to mimic the way he waved goodbye towards Jungwoo, "Be strong, Soldier." She played along with the guy next to her and both shared the same smiles with their two cents.
Sienna dressed up a bit, well it’s a party, after all. Her cute black mini dress complimented her heel loafers. She’s not going to lie it’s been a while for her to dress up, and it feels good.
As she stepped into the dimly lit venue, bathed in hues of purple and blue lights, a familiar voice cut through the atmosphere. "Sienna!" Kyujin’s excitement radiated as she embraced her. "Are the other two here already?" she inquired after the warm hug.
"Yup, we can huddle over there, it's much more comfortable."
Navigating their way to the living room, Sienna spotted Minghao and Seokmin, who were already in high spirits, sitting side by side with welcoming smiles.
"For a minute I thought you backed out." Minghao teased, earning a giggle from Kyujin.
Minghao's knack for reading people was, as always, on point. Sienna was hesitating for a moment at the entrance, with her heart pounding with uncertainty. The decision to attend this gathering had been a last-minute contemplation. She knew a few faces in the crowd, but it was the ghost of him that lingered in her thoughts. Earlier that day, an unexpected wave of nostalgia engulfed her, triggering what she reluctantly dubbed a "Relapse." She found herself tumbling down a rabbit hole of old photos and videos, relics of a time when they were entwined in each other's lives.
As she stood there, the weight of unanswered questions pressed upon her. Were the people around her aware of the demise of their once-shared world? A shiver of anxiety ran down her spine at the mere thought of being questioned about a love that now existed only in fragments of the past.
Eight months had passed, yet the grip he held on her heart remained unyielding. The invisible threads of their history continued to bind her, leaving Sienna entangled in a web of longing and unresolved emotions.
"Aye, don't be like that," she chuckled, waving her hand dismissively. "I even brought snacks." Seokmin, ever observant, noticed the packaging. "Oh! I guess the lady at that sweet shop was your mom then."
Sienna looked curious to him wanting him to continue. "Your mom was carrying a navy blue handbag right?" Sienna vividly remembers making her head nod.
Seokmin already felt proud with his keen eyes, no wonder the lady was familiar to him.
"I was in front of the store parking lot and got a glimpse of your mom Entering the store." He pointed out the sweet shop's name.
Her mom visited her earlier to personally break the news that her mom's land had already been sold with a very great offer. She expressed how she was so thankful that they waited and did not rush the selling of their property which led them to accumulate a huge deal.
In celebration, her mom remembers her daughter tends to like honey biscuits as the reason why she was at a sweet shop. Little did her mom know that the reason why she liked them was because Jaehyun influenced her since it was his childhood favourite sweets.
That was the trigger for her to this party since she had the feeling she would just dwell on her emotions at home alone. Distraction is highly needed.
After a couple of hours, Jaehyun arrived at the scene of the party. Mingyu greeted the guy and pointed to where Sienna was located.
Earlier, Mingyu had noticed Sienna alone in the corner of his sofa, engaging in a conversation with herself. Even to the untrained eye, it was apparent she had indulged a bit too much in the festivities. Her body tends to flop side to side with her head spinning lightly.
The three musketeers that she was with beginning at the party left earlier, and because of still not wanting her to leave early she stayed besides she put an excuse that some of the people she knew here she wanted to catch up.
Out of concern, he immediately contacted Yuno. Mingyu is one of those people who are not updated with the situation of the two people.
Yuno swiftly appeared in front of the lady, whose now trying her best to stay awake by softly slapping her cheeks and opening her eyes wide. In response, Jaehyun sighed and approached her, wrapping his flannel around her—his way of acknowledging how chilly she could get.
“You’re drunk, let’s go home.”
Sienna, with a pout, insisted, "I'm not drunk, just tipsy... I can still take it." She reached for her cup, but Jaehyun lightly caught her hand. "Sienna, please..." he pleaded. Reluctantly, she let go of the cup, covering her face with her hands. "Ugh, you're so boring; I don't want to go home yet." Despite her wobbly stance, a stark contrast to her claim of sobriety, she stood up.
Giggling, she attempted to stare at Jaehyun. Her brain, clouded by sweet toxins, transformed her surroundings into a hazy spectacle. Jaehyun, seizing the opportunity, gently gripped her figure securely and let her follow his body towards the exit. “You can get whiny when you're drunk.”
She bit her bottom lip, staring at him as her eyebrows furrowed. “N-No, I'm not” she chirped yet Jaehyun could still hear her as how close their bodies were now, he was left only to chuckle at her attitude.
Jaehyun was wearing his beanie and glasses, matching them up with the dim party lights, as to why Sienna has slow recognition due to her alcohol influence. However, her sixth sense just lets her guard down due to familiarity.
Pulling up to the car, Sienna settled herself comfortably in the front passenger seat. Jaehyun reached for the blanket tucked at the back and gently draped it over her figure.
“Can we open the window?” Sienna peered outside, where the street lights cast a soft glow. Jaehyun obliged, clicking the switch to let in the cool night air.
“Better?” He questioned, as he eased the car into motion.
She closed her eyes, letting the refreshing breeze envelop her. After stealing a glance at Jaehyun, she responded with a serene, "Yeah."
Fully aware now that she was in the company of Yuno, Sienna marvelled at how her instincts had effortlessly guided her away from the crowd and toward him.
“Is anybody at your home right now?" Hearing him, Sienna shakes her head slowly, her eyes remaining closed to contain the lingering dizziness.
"Both of them are out of town."
Jaehyun hummed in agreement, his thoughtful expression barely visible in the dimly lit car. "I can't leave you alone at your house. You should rest at my place instead, He declared that if there's an argument needed to be brought up it would be useless.
With Sienna's mind in its current state, his decisiveness didn't bother her. It was a welcome assurance amid the swirl of emotions she grappled with.
They both slowly entered Yuno’s place, easily passing by the lounge area to his private room. Letting the lady sit as he turned on the lamp next to his bed.
He took some cotton pads and makeup remover. It's been a while since he opened this particular side of his nightstand, back then it was her side of the bed anyway.
His hands gingerly swipe the damped cotton throughout her face, she looks entrapped by his aura, The way his eyes twitched and and his bottom lip bitting due to his hyperfocus, it might not be obvious but with her hazy view she could see behind his glasses are eyebags that has been a bit more obvious. With this situation, it brings back memories as if it were only yesterday.
"They're all clean." he huffs proudly as he returns the essentials to its container, "Let me get you some water." Before he could even get up, Sienna stole a kiss from him, jaehyun was caught off guard he flinched and stared at her flushed self. His eyes roamed from her sombre eyes gradually to her lips, breathing against each other– the air thick with anticipation.
Leisurely discarding his glasses, he leaned toward her. Eventually, his instincts couldn't resist the magnetic pull of the moment, and he found himself reciprocating the kiss. His dominant hand found the nape of her neck, while the left rested on her waist tightly.
Amidst the fog of sweet alcohol lingering from her system invading his space of mind. the kiss deepened, and their bodies drew dangerously closer within seconds.
With that snap of realization, Yuno stopped the act, dazed by her.
He would do anything for her, he constantly yearned for her even after all that happened. Yet, he refused to take advantage of her vulnerability. As he struggled to formulate the words he needed to convey, he grappled with the elusive thoughts.
He wanted to reassure her, to make her understand. But his brain seemed to be on strike, rendering him helpless.
Cold sweats build up over him, He suddenly feels like a teen boy who's in front of his huge crush.
"Sienna, I—" His words were abruptly cut short as she averted her eyes, rising slowly. As she hastened away, he found himself perplexed by the startling shift, his body instinctively following her.
Realizing the toilet room lights were open, he moved fast behind her. Already hiding how flustered he is.
Efficiently gathering her hair into a ponytail as she faced the toilet— letting out the toxins from her system. he offered a comforting rub on her back. His eyes fell on the drawer beneath the counter, remembering the hair ties she had left behind. He snatched one and secured her hair.
Perhaps, it had always been the right choice not to clean out the stuff she kept in his place.
"Take it easy," he hummed, attempting to access a smaller drawer, anticipating a towel within. All the while, he continued to rub her back, providing solace amid the discomfort.
With the final flush from the toilet, she ceased her ordeal. Jaehyun proactively used the towel to dab at her mouth. "Feeling better?" he asked, focused on the task.
She nodded, touching his hands and prompting him to halt. "I'm sorry.." she sighed, closing her eyes and braving the persistent dizziness. His gaze softened, taking in her dishevelled appearance, the messy ponytail he had made, her droopy eyes, and her flushed figure.
“Let’s go to bed—” he cleared his throat “Let’s take you to bed, you need to rest up hmm?.”
Her body went near him, and put her head on his chest “Don’t leave….” He looked down, already feeling his shirt getting drenched.
She is already crying.
He patted her head. "I won't," he assured, breathing heavily. "I won't leave you alone… so let’s go to bed." With a controlled but strained voice, he subdued the surging emotions.
Carrying her to bed, he tucked her in gently. Although he yearned to lie beside her, this wasn't the moment. He settled beside the bed on his rug, holding her hand, watching over her. As he hummed softly, he moved strands of hair away from her face, his quiet presence coaxing a serene expression onto her face.
Even in mere proximity, he found solace.
The sunlight tiptoed into the room, gently rousing Sienna from her deep slumber. A momentary panic seized her when her eyes landed on a head resting at the edge of the bed. Quickly regaining composure, she realized Yuno was sleeping on the floor beside her. His head lay on the mattress, while his body occupied the floor.
Her heartbeat slowed, confusion swirling in her mind as she tried to make sense of the situation. Battling a hangover headache, she opened her eyes gently, fixating on the man's face. It had been too long since she allowed herself to bask in the sight of him, and the ache of missing him resurfaced.
Almost by instinct, her hand lightly caressed his bangs, now dyed in a darker shade. Moving to his eyebrows and eyes, the familiarity felt both comforting and oddly unfamiliar after all this time.
His eyes twitched slightly, signalling his impending awakening. As her brain flashed fragments of memories from the previous night, embarrassment coursed through her.
Jaehyun's eyes fluttered open, meeting hers. Sensing her staring fixed on his lips, he gently grabbed her hand, preventing her from retracting her actions. "You're awake," she timidly said, attempting to downplay the significance of her actions.
She didn't get an immediate response, but now it was Yuno's turn to observe her. Despite having done the same the night before, this morning ritual fed his yearning for the simple moments they used to share.
"Do-Don't just stare at me like that," she uttered, biting her bottom lip.
"I'm sorry," he muttered. After a comfortable silence, she replied, "Don't bother, it's not like it's a big thing," avoiding his piercing stare, her cheeks flushing with warmth.
He shook his head slowly. "I have a lot to say sorry for."
Puzzled, her mind hinted at their last fight, the night they broke up. "I understand. It's not my decision to make."
"I should have talked with you before acting out my will with this, especially when it’s strongly sensitive for you… “ His voice became small but he needs to take accountability.
“I was selfish. I figured since I have the privilege to save up, all I could think was part of my savings was all about you."
"I should have known better."
Sienna always loved how pure this guy can get. She recognized the sincerity of his intentions. “I was too defensive and insecure to begin with every time I could see how people view us. I love how they take pride in you for what you do, but when I’m in the picture with you I could feel they always have this impression in our relationship that I’m not enough for you."
"I felt embarrassed, my inferiority complex burst." her eyes welled with emotion.
"You know I struggled to ask for help, and I always tried to conquer that, but when our last fight happened, it got me overwhelmed. It was an extreme gesture, and it felt like you were forcing me to be someone I'm not prepared to be." With his sincerity, she felt attacked and unsafe at that time. She was clouded by her negative thoughts and forgot she had him all this time – he was there to pick her up when she was feeling blue.
Yuno softened his gaze at her, “I’m sorry. I was so blinded and didn’t reassure you enough about our relationship, that it got to your thoughts. I don’t care about them, and I know it will be tough for you to immediately not care. So I’ll do my best to be there for you– reminding you to think of me and only me when you doubt, and I will never get tired of making you feel secure.”
She nodded and continued, "I’m fully aware that I have a lot on my plate, especially back then, working to support my family and myself." Her voice cracked as she struggled to compose herself. "And it's just so embarrassing how I know you so well. You’ve always wanted to help me— you’ve always been there, whether I’m struggling financially or whatever situation I'm facing. I just couldn’t take the bullet of reality that I needed to accept. “
Her eyes continued to sting. With every word she spilt, tears flowed down her cheeks.
He was the sunshine she couldn't handle.
"But I broke it. I promised you a slow and steady relationship."
Sienna looked at him stunned, he remembers.
“See you’re a guy who has a light that shouldn't be tainted.” she blurted out, sniffing.
Jaehyun shook his head slowly. Vividly his dimples, and a reassured smile carved his lips. “Sienna when I’m with you. I’m only a normal guy, a guy who loves you deeply, who wants to be with you.” He caressed her cheeks, gingerly wiping away the tears that streamed from her eyes.
Heart fluttering, realising once again that's she is truly in love with this person.
"I'll do better to make myself be deserving of you; I'll work hard.” She firmly stated, Her innocent orbs now filled with passion. “You did receive the money earlier, right?” After meeting her mom, Sienna transferred the money he paid for her university fees.
"You're more than enough, and I will always support you." Jaehyun held her hand tightly, bringing it close to his mouth. “And then, for the meantime, I’ll keep the money in my savings. That will be for us in the future.” He planted a soft kiss on her hand as if sealing a promise of his commitment.
“Besides, all I ever want is for you to spend your time with me – grow old together.” He whispered, his eyes reflecting a future filled with shared unwavering love. With those words, he painted a canvas of a lifetime. Sienna's heart swelled with a mix of emotions, and as they embraced, they both knew that their love story was not just a chapter but a timeless journey of growing old together.
I hope you guys enjoyed it!꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁
A/N: Another day in the life of Joel and Sunflower a few days early? YES PLEASE! Hope y'all enjoy!
This story takes place before the events of Pt. 1 - Jealousy, Jealousy.
Banner & Dividers by @saradika
"It's been real quiet today. How are you holding up, Miller?" you ask, your voice laced with genuine concern.
"Not great," he grumbles, his frustration almost tangible.
You gaze at your table of carefully arranged flowers, a hint of disappointment flickering across your face. "I was hoping to have sold at least half of these by now," you admit, absently tweaking a vase.
A scoff echoes from across the way. "That's a tad optimistic," he teases with a playful smirk.
You shoot back with a playful glare, your eyes twinkling mischievously. "Oh, like you're doing any better, Miller. I don't see your woodland critters flying off your table this morning."
Joel grumbles, a hint of self-deprecation in his voice. "Well, they do eventually find their way home," he drawls, a hint of defensiveness in his tone. "Today's just not our lucky day, that's all."
You can't help but laugh, a smile playing at the corners of your lips. "Right, keep telling yourself that, Miller. Maybe the critters need a bit more of your southern charm today."
"Right, it's not like you use your…" he gives you a pointed look, "assets to give you a leg up in sales," he replies, a playful glint in his eye. "I haven't seen someone wink so damn much at the farmers' market."
You roll your eyes dramatically, unable to suppress a teasing grin. "Oh, please, Miller. A little charm never hurt anyone. Besides, a wink here and there adds some flair to the whole flower-selling business. You should try it sometime."
He lets out a mock sigh, shaking his head in mock disapproval. "I'll leave the winking to you, flower whisperer. Maybe those woodland critters need a secret handshake."
You both share a laugh, the tension from the slow day momentarily forgotten as the playful banter lightens the mood in the market.
"Well, well, well," Tommy suddenly interjects, breaking through the tension as he puts his arm around your shoulders, casting a mischievous grin at his brother. "Seems like today's been a bit lackluster, huh? Sunflower's table barely made a dent, and she would have been mostly sold out by now."
You playfully nudge Tommy, a smile tugging at your lips. "Easy there, Tommy. We're all feeling the slow vibes today, aren't we?"
Joel grumbles in agreement, a hint of grumpiness in his voice. "Yeah, it's been unusually quiet. Even the critters seem to be taking a snooze on the job."
Tommy's eyes light up with an idea. "I've got it! How about a little friendly competition? A wager on who can sell out first—Sunflower's beautiful blooms or Joel's charming critters. Winner gets bragging rights and a week of free lattes on the loser!"
You exchange a knowing glance with Joel, a competitive spirit rising within you. "You're on, Tommy. Get ready to be buying those lattes," you declare, a playful determination in your voice.
Joel grumbles, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You better start practicing your sales pitch, Sunflower. Those lattes are going to be mine."
As the challenge intensifies, you notice Joel maintaining his grumpy demeanor, even as he turns on his charm with the ladies passing by. A pang of jealousy tugs at your heart, but you can't help but find his attitude endearing.
Joel grumbles at Tommy's playful antics, shooting a grumpy glare at his brother. He then turns his attention back to you, a hint of mischief in his voice. "Seems like you're getting quite cozy with my brother there, Sunflower. I might have to step up my game."
You feel a blush rising to your cheeks as you retort, "Oh please, Joel. You're the one who can't resist winking at every customer. I think you're just worried your charm might not work on everyone."
The banter continues as the friendly competition fuels a vibrant energy in the market, drawing more attention to both your stalls.
Joel grumbles playfully, a glint of competitiveness flickering in his eyes. However, as the day goes on, it becomes increasingly clear that Joel is not trying as hard as he could be. He finds himself unable to maintain his grumpy facade, particularly as he admires your dedication and passion. A sense of warmth grows inside him despite his best efforts.
As the afternoon sun begins to dip, your table starts to see more traffic, with customers drawn in by your infectious enthusiasm. Joel, on the other hand, has only managed to sell a few of his critters.
With a knowing smile, Joel arranges his remaining critters with a touch of playful annoyance, giving you an opportunity to shine. As the market comes to a close, you find your table nearly empty, a clear victory in sight.
"Congratulations, Sunflower. Looks like you've won," Joel says, offering you a genuine smile. "You deserve it. Seems like your… assets,” he motions to your unbuttoned flannel, a tease of your cleavage peeking out, you thank the stars god decided to bless you with your curves, “Really worked in your favor," he teases as he openly looks at your chest, his Adam’s apple bobbing.
You feel a rush of joy and relief, realizing Joel's subtle gesture. "Thank you, Joel. Your critters are amazing too, you know. We make quite the team, don't we?"
As the market comes to a close, the two of you share a quiet moment, the lingering warmth in Joel's gaze making your heart flutter with newfound hope. You notice a subtle shift in Joel's demeanor, as if he's holding onto something unsaid.
With a playful smile, you begin to pack up your remaining flowers, unable to shake off the feeling that Joel had been taking it easy on you. As you glance over at him, you raise an eyebrow and ask, "So, Joel, feeling generous today or just letting the lady have her moment of glory?"
Joel lets out a grumpy chuckle, his eyes dancing with amusement. "Well, Sunflower, a gentleman always knows when to let a lady shine. It's all in the spirit of chivalry, you see."
You feign a dramatic gasp, a playful glint in your eyes. "Oh, chivalry, huh? Well, I'll have you know, I'm not one to shy away from a fair competition. Next time, you won't be so lucky!"
Joel grins, a teasing glimmer in his gaze. "I'll be ready for you, Sunflower. No more Mr. Nice Guy. You'll have to earn that victory fair and square, just you wait."
You chuckle, a newfound lightness filling the air between you. "Oh, I'll be ready, Joel. And when I win, I expect you to be the one buying those celebratory lattes. Deal?"
Joel's grumpy laughter joins yours, the sound of it carrying a newfound sense of camaraderie and something more. "You've got yourself a deal, Sunflower. But don't be too confident. I might surprise you yet."
As the two of you pack up your stalls and the market starts to empty, Joel approaches you, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Say, Sunflower, how about we celebrate your victory with a dinner at the barbecue joint in town? My treat, of course."
You can't help but grin at his invitation, feeling a rush of excitement at the prospect of spending more time with him. "I'd love that, Joel. It'll be the perfect way to end this eventful day."
With a nod and a wider smile, Joel tips his hat and heads off to fetch his truck, leaving you with a fluttering heart and anticipation for the evening ahead.
Tourettes Awareness Month, June 3rd!
Today is just going to be some little stories/recollections related to my tics. I'm going to put them in different colors for ease of reading since some are longer than others.
⚠️everyone who has Tourette's will have different experiences, this is just mine.
In senior year I was in a Physics and Trigonometry class, and I developed a tic I call "take off" when we were building rockets. It literally sounds like I'm mimicking a rocket take off. It was also often accompanied by my "fling" tic where I throw stuff over my shoulder.
The day came to try our rockets and they didn't work, there was something wrong with the ignition peices (we think they got wet). So we come back in all disappointed, and I think my teacher was kind of upset for getting our hopes up and it not working. I'm a little ticcy from a mix of excitement and disappointment, and wanting to lighten the mood I tell my friend "well, if we just put me on the roof with a rocket and wait, we can get our data that way (take off tic) I've even got the sound effects!"
My teacher overheard, I think it was the first time he heard me joking about it, and since he was feeling bad I think it helped. He cracked up and had to pause class for a few minutes to calm down. They never did put me on the roof, so we just used hypothetical rockets for our work.
Same physics class, I had a really bad habit of tossing my pen over my shoulder. No matter how many times it happened, my friend who sat across from me would get up and grab it for me. One day he couldn't find it. We looked for like 5 minutes after class and still didn't find it. A day or two later it was finally found, on top of a stack of books, on top of the shelf behind me, about 6.5 or 7ft up.
When I discovered loud noises trigger my tics I was like "Oh I should try to desensitize myself". I'm not sure exactly the reasoning but I decided to do this by Jacksepticeye's entire horror playlist, followed by Markiplier's horror playlist. It didn't work to desensitize, but it did help me learn kind of when to expect jump scares in some kinds of media 😅
The first time I watched Ralph Breaks The Internet, I was babysitting and the kid was asleep. The parents came home to me crying bc Vanellope's glitches reminded me so much of my tics but she learned how to use them and she was still loved by her friends. I was recently diagnosed and really worried about it, but I loved that movie so much. I remember just texting my friend "VANELLOPE HAS TOURETTE'S", and still sometimes use "glitch" when I refer to my tics.
That's all I can think of for now, thank you for reading! If you have any questions or curiosities please feel free to send an ask and I'll answer the best I can 😊
S2 : Chapter 2 - New Home ☆☆
༄ ༄ ༄
He laid on his bed, his eyes began to close again. He let out a grunt as he changed his position, laying fully on his back. Our eyes locked, fitting perfectly with each other. It felt as if we were destined to be together. He smiled softly as my heart melted.
"You know you don't have to do this, right?" He looked away as he spoke.
"Yeah, but I want to. I can't help but feel like it was my fault. I was there. I could have saved you." Guilt flooded my veins as I looked down in shame.
"There's no point focusing on what could have been. What's done is done, so don't feel bad about it." He consoled me as I nodded.
I had been taking care of him for the past day. I brought him food, helped him get up when he needed to, and stayed by his side. It gets lonely when you're all alone during recovery. I didn't want him to feel the way I did.
He insisted that I didn't need to help him, but I decided that if I could at least help one person, that would make me happy.
"Are you hungry?" I asked him as he turned to look at me.
"A little... yeah." He replied.
"Anything in particular you want to eat?"
"Pizza would be nice."
"Got it! I'll order some right now." I picked up my phone, searching for a website to order pizza from.
I placed an order as I went to go and sit with Fushiguro once more.
I sat at the edge of the bed awkwardly. He patted the spot next to me, imploring me to sit with him. I stood and moved my weight, placing myself gently next to him on the bed. Our proximity made me nervous, our shoulders almost touching.
"Can I ask you something?" He said suddenly, startling me.
I nodded as he proceeded. "Why were you...so insistent too stay with me to keep me company? I would have been fine on my own."
I let out a deep breath before formulating my words. "When I was young." I began, placing a pillow on my lap and fiddling with it. " I had a terrible accident."
Fushiguro's expression softened as he listened attentively.
"I'm not sure that it was an accident, actually. A boy from the Zenin clan who my family adored visited us in England. They thought that it would be a good idea if I, as a ten-year-old, and him, a little older, fought each other in a showdown with spectators." I explained, his eyes never leaving me.
"What happened?" He probed.
I lifted the hem of my skirt slightly, revealing a scar that ran across both of my thighs.
"I was about to beat him. He had somehow got hold of a special grade cursed tool. He had no idea how to use it, and long story short, he ended up cutting my legs off." I traced the lines of my scars, reluctantly remembering the traumatic event.
Fushiguro gasped quietly, his hand reaching out to mine as he rubbed his thumb along the back of my hand.
"You are so strong. Much stronger than any of us here." My eyes pricked with tears as he spoke. I stopped them from moving, using my reversed cursed technique to get rid of them.
"Thanks to my cursed technique, I was able to regain my strength, though my legs had to be sewn back on. My parents said I brought shame to our family. They left me alone in the hospital throughout the entirety of my recovery. I was so alone. I never want anyone to feel the way I felt. That's why I wanted to help you. The solitude I felt left an empty hole in my heart." The atmosphere became solemn, all the joy and previously positive emotions I felt draining from my manner.
"I'm sorry I asked. I didn't mean to bring back bad memories." Fushiguro muttered remorsefully.
"It's alright. You didn't know. And plus, you can't live life without a little sadness, right? There's always a trough before a peak." My voice was but a whisper. My cheerful tone returned as I tried to lighten the mood.
"I guess this has made us closer now, huh. You got to see me in a vulnerable state already!" I chuckled as he removed his hand from mine with a smile.
"Yeah, I guess so. I'm happy about that."
"Me too."
We sat, motionless. The silence surrounding us was comfortable and warm. I felt at home when I was with him. I felt as if I could pour my heart, my thoughts, everything out to him without the fear of being exposed or judged. All at once, thoughts of spending the rest of my life with him invaded my mind, almost as if it were an insight into the future. It was vivid. I saw Yuuji and Kugisaki on the couch as we all sat there, enjoying each others company. I denied the possibility of these thoughts being true. I looked into his eyes once more, the everlasting void of Azure sucking me into him. A pleased look graced his perfect face. Maybe I could stay with him a little longer.
JEALOUS, JEALOUS BOY - ARDA GÜLER
Arda gets jealous when a fans is too touchy
Arda Güler x fem! reader
︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿
The golden sands of the beach stretched endlessly, meeting the crystal blue waters of the ocean. It was the perfect vacation spot, a much-needed break for both Arda and me.
We had found a quiet spot away from the more crowded areas, hoping to enjoy some peace and solitude.
I was lounging on a beach towel, the warm sun kissing my skin, while Arda was wading in the shallow waters, enjoying the cool waves.
It was a perfect day until a group of young fans, around our age, recognized Arda and approached us.
"Arda! Can we get a picture with you?" one of them called out, excitement evident in their voice.
Arda glanced at me, and I gave him a reassuring smile. "Go ahead," I said. "I'll be right here."
He nodded and walked over to them, posing for pictures and signing autographs. I watched from my spot, feeling proud of him. It was always heartwarming to see how much his fans admired him.
After a few minutes, a couple of the fans approached me. "Hey, you're with Arda, right? Can we take a picture with you too?" one of them asked, their eyes glancing appreciatively at my bikini-clad figure.
I was a bit surprised but agreed with a friendly smile. "Sure, why not?"
As I stood up, one of the fans wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closer for the picture. I thought nothing of it, assuming it was just for the sake of the photo.
However, I noticed Arda's expression change. His eyes darkened slightly, and his jaw tensed.
Arda finished with his group of fans and made his way back to me, his steps a bit more hurried than usual.
He gently but firmly placed his hand on my shoulder, pulling me slightly away from the lingering fan. "Alright, I think that's enough for now," he said, his voice calm but with an unmistakable edge.
The fans seemed to sense the shift in his mood and quickly thanked us before leaving. I turned to Arda, puzzled. "What was that about?"
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "You didn't notice, did you?"
"Notice what?" I asked, genuinely confused.
He looked at me, his expression softening slightly. "They were a bit too... touchy. Especially that guy with his hand on your waist."
I blinked, replaying the interaction in my mind. "Oh... I didn't realize. I thought they were just being friendly."
Arda's protectiveness was endearing, and I stepped closer to him, placing a hand on his chest. "I'm sorry if it made you uncomfortable."
He wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close. "I just don't like the idea of anyone else getting too close to you."
I smiled up at him, appreciating his honesty. "I understand. But you don't have to worry. I'm all yours."
He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to my forehead. "And I'm all yours," he murmured, his voice filled with warmth.
We spent the rest of the day relaxing on the beach, Arda's mood lightening as we talked and laughed together.
The incident with the fans was forgotten, replaced by the joy of being in each other's company.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the ocean, I looked at Arda, feeling grateful for his presence in my life. "Thank you for always looking out for me," I said softly.
He smiled, his eyes reflecting the warmth of the sunset. "Always," he replied, pulling me into a gentle embrace.
