another request here! could i please request a fic with pregnant!reader (writer's choice for which winchester brother is the dad!) where the three are en route to a new case and are in the middle of nowhere when reader goes into labor and ends up giving birth in the impala? 😊
Warnings: pregnancy, birth, swearing, canon-level arguing between the Winchesters
Word Count: 1.8k
A/N: Full disclosure, I've never given birth so please forgive anything that doesn't make sense lmao
Tumblr media
Having spent the last few weeks on the road, case after case with no space from each other, I had to admit that the three of us were starting to go a little crazy. Sam and Dean had been at each other's throats over the pettiest things since my six month mark in this pregnancy.
Sam would yell at Dean to get his feet off our bed, and Dean would yell at Sam to lighten up. Or they'd argue about who takes what role in hunts. Tonight, I try to just ignore them to focus on packing, but it proves difficult when my name keeps getting brought into the mix.
"I said no, Dean! We're not taking the case," Sam growls, slamming his book shut. "It's at least a days drive from here, if not two and with Y/N so deep into this pregnancy," he lets out a breath, glancing over at me with wide eyes, as if the realization of my quickly approaching due date has just hit him. "I just don't think it's a good idea."
Dean tries to shake the frustration out of his body by punching a pile of clothes into his bag. He aggressively grips onto the next pile and looks up at Sam, face tight, "so we make a couple of stops along the way to make sure everything is alright," he chides with a shrug, the bag ripping slightly as he shoves that pile into it. "Damn it," he says under his breath.
Sam scoffs with a glare in his eyes, "do you even know how many hospitals we pass to get there? None! Not a damn one!"
Dean shrugs, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth, "we'll take the scenic route then."
Frustrated, I raise my voice about theirs, "okay! Can you both please stop talking about me like I'm not here!" I shout, my voice shaking with anxiety. They both spin around, shock in their eyes as they meet mine, as if they completely forgot I was still in the room with them. Dean bows his head, "I should be allowed to have a say in this considering… oh, I don't know," I say, pretending to be amused, then raise my voice, "I'm carrying the baby! And I'll be damned if I spend the next 4 weeks of this fucking pregnancy being treated like I need to be bubble wrapped!"
"I'm just trying to protect you," Sam says sheepishly.
"And I'm telling you I don't need protection," I snap. His eyes widen, and head hangs slightly. He takes a few careful steps my way. Softening my voice, I add, "Sam, I'm tired of all the fighting, and I'm tired of being treated like I can't do anything for myself."
He lets out a long, almost unwilling, sigh of agreement. "I get it," he says softly. "I guess I wasn't thinking… we were… he-" he stutters, letting air bounce between his lips when he knows there's really only one thing he should be saying, "I'm sorry. You're right."
"Thank you," I sigh, ignoring Dean's smug smile.
"Oh, don't act like you're any better, Dean!" Sam sneers.
"Stop!" I say as Dean rolls his eyes. He grabs his bag to head for the door, muttering that he’ll be in the car before slamming the door shut behind him.
Sam scoffs, looking around the room with a blank stare. "He's been such a jerk lately," he says, looking back at me.
"He's probably just scared, Sam," I say, brushing the hair out of his face. "I mean, you know how he is. And our lives are about to drastically change. Who knows what hunting will look like when we have a child to take care of. I mean, life is already so dangerous for us, and now we have to protect something so defenseless. That’s terrifying."
---
The cramping starts a few hours away from our destination when we stopped at a gas station for fuel and food. They were mild at first, going away as soon as they started, giving me a long enough break in between pangs to forget about the last.
"Okay, so apparently the victims all have missing hearts," Sam says in a long sigh, scrolling through news articles on his phone. He looks up with a puzzled expression, "we thinking werewolves?"
I grit my teeth as another pang hits. It's almost like I could feel every groove and line in the road. Clearing my throat, I add, "but it wasn't a full moon, was it?"
"No," Sam says in a soft whisper, "but maybe-" a shout rips through me from a cramp, interrupting Sam and he turns to look at me.
The last thing I see before clenching my eyes shut are Dean's eyes flashing back at me through the rear-view mirror.
"Yeah," I lie, my breathy voice giving me away and I yell out again when Dean drives over a bump. I throw a hand to my belly, rubbing the area that hurts. But it's all hurting now, and then nothing again. I take quick breaths. Anxiety riddles me. Did something happen to my baby? I wonder. My eyes open and my heart just pounds.
Dean pulls the car off to the side of the road with a screech when I yell out again, my hand gripping tight to seat in front of me. The second the car has slowed enough, Sam jumps out to get into the backseat with me.
Dean uses the steering wheel to push from to turn my way, "what's happening? Are you okay?" Dean asks while Sam races to unbuckle my seat belt.
"Of course she's not okay, Dean!" Sam growls, his eyes full of worry. I can hear them bickering with “I told you so” and “yeah well if you’re so smart” in the distance. My ears ring, and I'm too tuned into the frogs croaking in the swaying trees.
A tight ache hits me again and my body jerks forwards as a scream lets itself out of me.
"I think the baby is coming," Sam whispers to Dean with wide eyes.
"No shit," Dean mutters, throwing his door open to come to the backseat. He opens the door, using it to prop up his arm as he looks in.
"No, no, no," I cry, shaking my head. "It's gotta be Braxton-Hicks, it has to be-" I plead, tears streaming down my face. "It's too soon," I say anxious as all hell until another wave of pain takes over, and Sam grabs my hands in his.
"It's gonna be okay, Y/N," Sam says, gently squeezing my hands. His eyes pan up to Dean, getting his attention, "we gotta get her pants off her," Sam says quietly, and I groan.
Dean rushes into action, taking my back in his arms to lay me down on the seat. Sam works fast to get my clothes removed, but slows when the ache hits again.
Sam’s eyes widen when he realizes how close we are to holding our baby, and he rushes to remove his jacket, placing it on the seat between my legs. I prop myself up on my elbows, bringing my feet onto the seat to bend my knees and open my legs. Never in my twenty-nine years of life did I expect to be pregnant, let alone give birth in Dean’s car with the damn Winchester brothers delivering my baby, but here we are.
The cold hair nips at my naked skin, but it’s easy to push past the discomfort of that when it feels like a fucking fire was started on my lower half. Sam holds his hands on my thighs as he encourages me, reminding me to breathe and push. The irritability in me adds to the fire, and I want to tell him to shut up, but I don’t. I can’t see Dean, but I know he’s probably as scared as I feel right now, given how out in the open we are. He keeps a firm, but comforting hand on my shoulder as I push, offering words of encouragement here and there, his focus more on the world around us, scanning for danger.
Dropping my head against Dean’s arm, I let out a groan as I push, the pain almost unbearable now. I could feel the pressure and burning of each one, and after what feels like hours the pressure increases to the worst pain I’ve felt yet.
I squeeze Dean’s hand probably harder than I should have, but suddenly a weight feels like it’s been lifted from me, and I’m washed with relief of the sweet sound of my baby crying. My arms fail to hold me any longer and I fall back against Dean.
Sam chuckles as he holds our baby, wrapped up in his jacket, close to his chest. With Dean's help I'm able to sit up, still using him as a back rest.
"It's a girl," Sam says with a big smile, tears welling in his eyes. He hands her to me, and I'm overwhelmed with love, joy and exhaustion.
"Shh, shh," I coo before kissing her on her small forehead. "It's okay, we've got you," I whisper. Tears fill my eyes and I can't help but to sob as I look down at her beautiful face. I rock her in my arms, and her cries quickly calm, turning into whimpers. Tracing the features on her soft face I'm mesmerized at how beautiful she is.
Looking up at Sam, my tears continue to fall, but I wear a smile, "we just had a baby!" I say, almost in disbelief. I continue to rock her for a while, as if it were just me and her. Then I feel Dean's hand tap my arm.
I turn to look at his red eyes, then back at my baby, "do you wanna meet your uncle?" I say in a baby voice before looking up at Sam with a silent request to help me hand Dean our baby.
Dean strolls around the Impala to stand next to Sam, taking my daughter in his arms so carefully. He holds her tightly against his chest, eyes crinkling at the corners as he sways with her. He holds his hand over her head to protect her from the wind, bringing his lips down and plants a kiss on the top of her head. "Well, aren't you just a little cutie," he says, then looks over at Sam, "must not take after your daddy," he jokes. "Ha, ha, very funny," Sam says flatly, but smiles. Dean clears his throat after a pause, "do you know what you're gonna name her yet?" Dean asks, and I glance at Sam hesitantly. "Well, I was thinking Mary Y/M/N?" I suggest, and their jaws drop, but their faces light up. Sam takes a few steps towards me to kiss me hard. "It's perfect," Sam says.
~~~ A/N: Y/M/N = either your mom's name or whatever name you want to put here :)
@ghostlyaccurate requested: "Hii! I'm not sure if I already sent you this request, or if I sent it to someone else (oops🤭) but could I request a Sam Winchester and/or Dean Winchester x reader (your choice which one of them, if not both sepperately) where he helps reader deal with morning sickness, though he only finds out she's pregnant on the third day in a row that he's with her while she throws up. Ty!!"
Read it on AO3!
A/N: Adrianne Lenker title. I really really loved this request! I feel like writing the pregnancy trope is a sort of hard task to do, so I hope I brought it justice. I love love loved writing this, and I hope you enjoy reading it! Thank you for the request @ghostlyaccurate, and I promise I'm trying my damnedest to work through my inbox <3. Every mistake here is completely and 100% my own and of my own doing. (P.S. can you guess how hard it was to find "aesthetic" pictures of a bathroom and pregnancy tests for the pictures for this fic?? I think the ones I found actually work pretty well! Another thing, what happened to the yellow text color? I use it to tag fluff fics, and it's gone :( ).
Your head hung over the foul toilet bowl of whatever motel you, Dean, and Sam were holed up in, and a rancid smell invaded your nose. In earnest, you didn’t have the slightest idea where you were. The past couple of hours had been filled with a slight fever and the constant need to use Dean as a pillow. Halfway through the drive between towns, you convinced him to switch out driving with Sam so he could join you in the back seat.
The worn tile of the bathroom floor offered you minimal comfort, and the fact you’re supposed to be up for a case in two hours made your stomach churn over again. Ditching your normal avoidance of motel bathrooms, you gripped the edge of the toilet and emptied your stomach again.
“Y/N?” Dean’s groggy voice called out from behind the door, “Are you okay in there sweetheart?”
You squeezed your eyes together, cursing yourself for being loud enough to wake him up. Sneaking out from his arms was a feat enough already, trying to suppress the sound of you losing your guts at four in the morning wasn’t going to happen; even in a perfect world.
“No,” you groaned as he softly opened the door, “I feel like shit De, and you know how much I hate throwing up. And how much I hate motel bathrooms.” You whined. Your hair was falling to the front of your face and you were cursing whoever decided a bathroom didn’t need a working air vent.
Dean hummed softly, pulling the hair back from your face and holding it with one hand as he sat behind you on the floor. He pressed his lips to the back of your head softly, and gently traced shapes on your collarbone as you laid back on him.
“Just breathe, I’ve got you if you need to go at it again.” He said softly, cradling you in his lap as you tried to breathe. He ran his hand through your hair as your breathing started to hiccup less, and eventually, he sat you on the closed toilet lid to get you water.
You felt ashamed to be keeping him up at this hour. Your phone clock read 5:13 AM, almost an hour past when you’d originally gotten up. He already doesn’t get enough sleep as is, and here you are sitting, waiting for him to get back like you aren’t able to take care of yourself.
“Here you go, drink slowly. Did you use the mouthwash I gave you?” He asked as he handed you his water bottle. He stood across from you, tucking his hands into the pockets of his pajama pants. You nodded softly, gratefully gulping down the contents of the bottle.
The bags under his eyes were already enough to make you feel guilty. Hunters were used to running on minimal sleep, but with you around, he’d just gotten into the six-hour range. He rubbed his face, inhaling like he normally did when he was trying to make a decision. You didn’t want to go out for the case. You barely wanted to move your body to get back in bed and salvage what little sleep you could before life kicked you back into gear.
“Do you want to stay here while Sam and I talk to the family?” Dean asked as if he could read your mind.
I love you so damn much. You thought, bowing your head with a sigh of relief. You didn’t want to be the one to bring up staying in; neither of you ever wanted to admit you needed breaks, but if the other one was to bring it up, it made the process easier.
You nodded, pushing yourself to your feet as he opened the door for the two of you, “yeah, I think that’s best for all of us. Don’t need me puking in the victim’s bathroom as you guys ask your questions.” You tried to joke as you and Dean crawled back into bed, tucking yourself into his arms, and splaying your legs haphazardly on top of his.
The next morning wasn’t any better.
Sam and Dean had come home late from questioning the family, and you were barely aware of them unloading the Chinese food they brought for you. Dean sat with you against his chest, still half-dressed as an FBI agent, as you wolfed down the egg rolls he got. You found yourself starving when they offered you food, but now you regretted eating anything at all.
You found yourself hung over the toilet again, but thankfully only had to put up with one round of saying goodbye to your lunch. You were able to get yourself up and over to the sink, where you repeated Dean’s routine from the morning before.
You leaned against the counter in the small kitchen, Dean’s water bottle filled with tap water in your hand. You turned to dump the rest in the sink when the creak of a floorboard behind you had you spinning on your heel in record time.
“Jesus Christ, Dean. Why are you up?” You asked in a hushed tone, placing your hand over your racing chest.
“I could ask you the same thing,” He crossed the small room and came over to embrace you in his arms, “did you get sick again?” He asked innocently, but the combination of those words, and the pitiful shift of his eyes was enough to make you feel like a child. You were a grown woman, you knew damn well how to take care of yourself much before the Winchesters were in your life.
You huffed in annoyance, pulling back from Dean’s chest. You felt your face begin to heat up, and it felt like anything Dean could say had the chance to send you over the edge.
“Yes, I did. Right now, I feel like my body is too hot and too tight for my bones, and I also feel like anything you say is going to make me hit the roof. Even if it’s nice, I just don’t think my brain can take in any more words without wanting to jump ship.” You said you rubbed your temples. Things like this had happened occasionally in the past, and before Dean, you figured it was just because you were a rigid person. One night a particularly bad migraine had led to you yelling at him because he offered to get you some medicine. Instead of just leaving you to stew, like every other partner did, he simply asked you to explain what you were feeling. No judgment, no interruptions, and he’d do whatever you said would make you feel better in that moment.
Now, whenever you felt overwhelmed, he did the same. He’d swallow any sarcastic comment or solution to your problem and listen to you. No matter what was bothering you, at whatever hour of the day, he was at your side, doing what you asked of him without hesitation.
He just nodded, pressing his lips to your forehead before he led you back to the bed you two were sharing for the case. His body threw off heat like a bonfire, and your normally freezing hands were appreciative of that. In this moment, however, it felt like you were burning from the inside out.
You adjusted yourself between the sheet and the comforter, so the two of you could still touch without pressing your skin together. Dean waited for you to still before he made himself comfy, and he gently ran his fingers through the ends of your hair.
“Is this okay right now? Do you want me to leave you be?” He asked, in as soft of a voice as he could. You hummed, smiling at the tingling sensation running through you. Comfort, and a warmth that wasn’t burning to the touch, crawled up your back, and into your head. You tried to focus your eyes for a couple of seconds more, but without your control, they forcefully fluttered shut.
“Y/N.”
Sheet tangled between your limbs, and you could see the light through your closed eyes. Opening them, you find an unexpected sight. Instead of Dean, or Sam, standing at your bedside, the trench coat-clad angel you’d met five years ago stood awkwardly, waiting for you to fully wake up.
“Cas,” you rubbed your eyes as you sat up, “what are you doing here? Where’s Sam and Dean?” You asked.
Cas sighed and sat at the end of your bed. He shot you a quick look, before focusing his eyes on the blank wall in front of him. He tapped his fingers on his legs, a habit he picked up from Sam.
“Dean called me and told me you were sick. I came in, and told him I’d try and cure whatever… ailment is afflicting you.”
You smiled at the way he spoke, and the fact Dean went out of his way to try and help you out, but there was something off about Castiel’s demeanor. You sat up and touched his arm to get his attention.
“Cas, what’s wrong? Did something happen that I should know about?” You asked softly.
“I think you’re pregnant, Y/N.” He looked at you, and there was a rift of guilt lingering in his eyes.
A course of confusion and shock coursed through your body before you felt a rotting pit settle at the bottom of your stomach.
“Why would you… think that, Cas?” You felt a tightness taking over your throat, rubbing your hand across your neck to try and loosen it.
“I can sense life forms. Human ones, at least. It was hard to tell with Sam and Dean here, but once they left I was able to confirm my suspicions.”
Your hand traveled to your lower abdomen before your mouth spat out a request without thinking.
“Pregnancy tests. Can you get me some, please? I just,” you ran your hand across your forehead quickly, “I want to confirm, using non-magical means.”
Cas nodded, “of course. I’m going to assume you don’t want me to let Dean know?”
You nodded your head before swinging your legs over the side of the bed. Deep down, you knew Cas was right. You were late by a few days, but you’d chalked it up to the illness that’s kept you on the bench for this case. You didn’t usually react as poorly as you’ve been to an illness, even when you’d gotten a terrible case of Pneumonia.
Getting up from the bed, you walked into the bathroom as Castiel vanished to get you a couple tests. Looking to the mirror, you’re met with a form of you that was a little scary; purple, slightly-puffy eyes, smeared makeup that hadn’t been washed off from days before, and your skin was breaking out in places it hadn’t before.
Dean hadn’t said a word about it, but even someone as blissfully ignorant as him had to have noticed the way your face wasn’t looking like your own.
Dean.
You’d have to tell Dean you were pregnant, with his child. That you’re going to be parents.
What if he didn’t want to be a father at thirty-six?
Children weren’t one hundred percent out of the question, but they were longer down the line in hunters’ lives. If you were lucky enough to get out of the life unscathed and find someone who would want to settle down with, you’d likely be creeping into your mid-forties, at best. Mary had gotten lucky with John, but now they’d both been taken away by the thing they’d spent half of their marriage avoiding.
What if you weren’t ready to be a mother at thirty-five?
For you, it wasn’t the question of wanting to have kids, but you never saw you or your boyfriend backing out from hunting anytime soon. To add on, you’d heard of many nasty births that ended in fatality for the infant or the mother, including your own. Every time you and the boys were on a case involving a child, you’d be extra reckless. Dean picked this up within the first couple of times you’d almost gotten yourself killed to save a kid, and you explained your fear to him. The fear of a mother not being able to welcome her child home in her arms, or the child not seeing his mother again, and their fate lying in your hands. You’d already ripped apart your family, and you tried your damnedest to keep as many together as possible.
A ruffle of feathers and a sharp knock on the bathroom door snapped you out of your thoughts.
“You can come in, Cas.”
Wordlessly, the angel stepped into the small motel bathroom holding a plastic bag. He pulled out three different pregnancy tests and set them on the counter.
“The woman working there said I should get a couple just in case one doesn’t work like it should.” He said as you picked up the first test. “I’m telling the truth, but I understand you wanting to confirm this to yourself.”
I know Cas, you thought, but you didn’t say a word. Instead, you stared at him, waiting for him to leave the bathroom, but he had a blank look on his face and didn’t move a muscle.
“Cas, I’m going to need you to leave the bathroom for me to do this.”
“Oh, sorry. Of course. I forgot how ‘hands-on’ human tests can be. I apologize.” He said blatantly before stepping out of the bathroom and shutting the door behind him.
Fuck me.
That’s what got you into this in the first place, dumb ass.
After twenty disgustingly long minutes in the decrepit motel bathroom, you walked out holding four positive tests. Cas was sitting on Sam’s bed, staring out the window, but immediately stood up and crossed the room to you. You handed him the tests, and he placed them on the table between the two beds.
“How do you feel?” He asked. Another thing he picked up from his years on earth was the ability to know when to ask what questions.
You felt blank. Void of answers and solutions to the situation at hand. Whether or not to turn left, or right.
“I… don’t know what to do, Cas.” Your voice broke along with the tears you were holding back, and a sinking feeling of hopelessness began to dig its way through your head.
Neither you nor Dean are ready to be parents. What if Dean’s angry? He would never kick you out of the bunker. The bunker is the only real home any of you have had in a long time, but is it safe? Is the world safe enough to bring a baby into? A Winchester baby, who would no doubt be a target from birth. What if the baby doesn’t make it to full term? What if this baby kills you like you killed your own mother?
“Y/N,” Cas placed his hand on your shoulder, “I’m going to ask you to take a breath.” He drew his hand up and waited for you to inhale. Taking in a shuddered breath, you followed the flow of his hand, stopping your heart from running up your throat.
“Thank you.” You said, sitting down on your bed and grabbing the pregnancy tests off the nightstand. Two pluses, two double lines. You and Dean were careful and used a condom whenever you found extra time together, but somehow God decided that rubber wasn’t going to work as intended.
“I think I’m going to just lay here,” you tuck yourself under the bed sheets once more, the tests shoved into your pajama pants, “and wait for Dean and Sam to get home. I’ll get him out of this stuffy ass room and tell him in private. Sam shouldn’t have to witness if we- if we argue. I know it makes him feel awful.”
“That’s a smart plan. You need to take this one step at a time and do it carefully. I know Dean cares for you deeply, but if you need someone to support you, all you have to do is call for me.” Cas squeezed your shoulder reassuringly.
“Thank you, Cas.” You yawned, pulling your body further under the covers of the bed. Castiel smiled slightly, before turning away and disappearing with a familiar rush of wings flapping.
Your body was covered head to toe in sweat, and the bed sheet you wrapped around yourself was thrown onto the floor. No light entered the room, and the time on the alarm clock read 1:43. Your stomach churned in a familiar way, and as you got to your feet you finally noticed neither of the boys were in the room.
You clambered to the bathroom, phone in hand, trying to call Dean. One hand braced on the toilet, and the other tried to thumb down to his contact. There wasn’t any time to think about the fact you were carrying a baby inside of you, the baby whose father is missing in the middle of the night with no calls or messages.
They always call. You thought before you set your ringing phone on the floor to throw up for the first time that morning. The phone rang, the sound slowly driving you insane each time you redialed Dean’s number between dry heaving into the bowl.
Your hair was sticking to your forehead, poorly swept away and held back by a rubber band you found on the sink. The heat, the pain, and the fear of losing contact with the Winchester brothers combined with the reality of you being pregnant was finally built up enough to break the swarm of emotions you barely choked down when Cas was in the room earlier.
Eyes burning, you slumped against the sink cabinet and brought your phone to your ear as you called Dean once again. You let out a sob, tears rushing down your face and neck, leaving behind a slightly burning trail. Your breathing became uneven, the sound of your own heart drumming through your ears drowning out the ring of your phone. Letting your phone slip to the floor, you brought your knees to your chest and folded your arms as a nest for your forehead.
Neither of the boys called within the twenty minutes you were in the bathroom, your phone was now close to being dead, and no muscle in your body wanted to obey your brain telling them to move and do something. You weren’t a weak woman, you took the cards you were dealt and tried your best to win, but sometimes all you could do was fold.
“Y/N? Y/N?”
A hand pulled your face from your knees, and you could barely see with the light of the bathroom now on and blinding you. A warm hand rested against your cheek while another briefly touched your forehead.
“Help me get her up, Sammy,” your eyes fluttered closed and you felt two arms hook under both your arms, laying them over shoulders as your feet lightly dragged across the floor.
“I’ve never seen her this bad, Dean.” The voice you now recognized as Sam said. Your legs were swept up from under you and you were laid on the bed you’d crawled out of.
You felt the tests still pressing in your pockets, and you thanked whatever greater being was willing to listen. There was no way you wanted to Dean to discover that information on accident.
Dean.
The other voice was Dean.
You moron, who else would it be?
The bed next to you dipped down, and you felt a gentle hand tuck a few stray hairs behind one of your ears. The sweat covering you was sucking every inch of clothing to your skin, and all you wanted to do was peel either of the pair off.
“I thought Cas was going to come here and help her out,” you heard his voice straining as he spoke, and you felt your heart snap in two.
You moved your hand, as heavy as it felt, and squeezed the first part of him you touched.
“Sweetheart,” you could feel Dean’s breath as he hovered over you, “you’re scaring me here.”
“Cas…” you gave out a heavy cough, “he came. He helped me figure out what’s been happening.”
A glass of water was brought to your mouth, and you took every drop of it. After swallowing the cup, your eyes finally were able to open. You were greeted by a worried Dean hovering very close to you, and a worried Sam crossing back from the kitchen holding Dean’s water bottle.
Sam set the bottle on the bedside table and sat on his bed, facing you and Dean. Dean’s attention was solely on you. His hands grabbed both sides of your face and brought his lips to your forehead, before resting against it.
“Hey,” you said, chuckling slightly, “I didn’t mean to scare you, De. You, or Sam.” You sat yourself up in bed.
“Did Cas tell you what’s wrong?” Sam asked, looking at you expectantly.
“He did, but… is it okay if I talk to Dean? Alone?” You asked softly.
Sam shot Dean a look, which Dean promptly returned with one that had Sam standing up, and walking into the hall.
Orange rays of light shone from the window of the room, and you could just barely see the sun climbing on the horizon. Dean moved to hold you in bed while you gained the composure to tell him you were both parents.
“Dean…” you breathed steadily, trying to even your heartbeat that was ramping up once more, “I have to tell you something-”
“I kinda gathered as much sweetheart,” he said lightly, lines forming around his forest-lorn eyes beautifully.
“- it’s important. I mean, it’s going to change our lives, for the rest of our lives.”
Dean’s face became more serious, pulling you to face him as he crossed his legs.
“You know you can tell me anything, Y/N.”
Do it, now. Just say-
“I’m pregnant.”
The air hung heavy around the pair of you as you handed him the tests in your pocket, and you could see the clocks turn in Dean’s mind as he stared down at them.
“But we used a rubber?” He said, and you could guess where his thoughts were wandering.
“We did, but you’re the only person I’ve been with for years, Dean, I need you to believe me when I say that.” You said reassuringly as you could without sounding like you were lying.
His face broke into a small smile, and he brought his thumb to trace over your lower cheek, “I know, sweetheart. I trust you with my heart, I just know not to use that brand anymore, seems like their effectiveness is questionable.”
You laughed, tears drying in your eyes as you pushed at him playfully, “Dean! You gave me a heart attack, you son of a bitch!”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry okay!” He laughed, capturing you in a giant bear hug and rolling you on top of him. You looked down at him and brought your lips down to his.
“You’re going to be a father,” you said, beaming at him while smiling the hardest you’d ever in the longest time
“You’re going to be a mother,” he replied, smiling just as hard. Your face fell slightly, and the word mother finally kicked into your head. “Hey,” Dean said as he saw your face shift, somehow remembering the story you told him all those years ago, “Remember, we’ve got an angel on speed dial, and you know how hard it is to take out a Winchester.”
Your heart warmed at the statement, the baby inside of you was just as much L/N as it was Winchester. You loved Dean with your heart, as did he love you, and now the two of you were going to brace the dangerous world you’d spent years protecting with the amalgamation of that love.
You brought Dean’s hand to your stomach as he brought his other hand to your face. His calloused fingers were gentle on your skin, and small crinkles formed around his eyes as he smiled, holding his hand at your stomach as you gazed back at him.
A knock sounded at the door, making you turn your head around before you and Dean burst into laughter, and told Sam he could come back in the room to tell him the news.
New Addition🤎
Summary: Being Sam Winchesters long time girlfriend was wonderful until he had family business and was on the road all the time, but what happens when you find out you’re pregnant?
Pairing: Early Seasons Sam Winchester x f!reader
•Masterlist•
Tumblr media
Sitting in my apartment missing waking up to sharing the bed with Sam, cuddling against his warm body, sitting on the counter as he makes us pancakes, getting ready for college parties together, everything we use to do now just memories
“Come on Sam I miss you, when are you gonna be home?” I sighed into the phone
“I’m sorry baby I miss you too but Dean and I are working some jobs and….”
“Jobs? I thought you were just looking for your dad? Sam are you okay I’m worried” he’s been gone for a month now and it was miserable he helped pay half the rent and it was a struggle by myself now and he’s my soulmate and being apart really wanes on the heart
“Well we’re still looking just making some stops along the way” I could hear Dean in the back making fun of him calling me baby
“You know I can’t be mad at you I’m just……I just miss you but I hope everything is going good with Dean and you find your dad” he told me all about his problems in the past with his family but all I wanted was for him to be happy
“You know I miss you too baby, wish I could see you, sleeping in these shitty motel rooms doesn’t compare to WOAH Dean stop hitting me!” Dean obviously didn’t want to hear the end of that making me cheer up a bit
“Well just call me more when you get the time but I have class, I love you Sam”
“Love you too Angel” the call ended and I was forced to go along with my daily routine, get ready, go to class and come back to an empty apartment
It went on like this for 2 more months and it just got worse, his calls became less frequent maybe once a week, I fell into a deep sadness that only Sam Winchester could brighten, and I became sick at first I thought it was a flu maybe a stomach bug but after talking to some friends and one test later and I find out I’m pregnant, I have to be atleast 3 months along since that’s the time he’s been gone
After having an hour long breakdown I dialed Sam hoping he had some time to talk and not on another job
“Angel why are you calling so late?” His voice groggy
“Sammy……we need to talk” I stutter out still emotional
“What’s wrong are you okay?”
“I’m pre……I can’t tell you over the phone I need to see you…..please” I beg praying he’ll just come home
“I don’t know Dean and I are…”
“Sam this is really important what ever you’re doing can wait, I need you”
“Okay we’ll be there by the time you wake up”
Tumblr media
I woke up exhausted from the stress of the day before, I’m pregnant actually pregnant under normal circumstances I’d be happy starting a family with Sam but with how absent he’s been I feel him drifting away
I willed myself out of bed and pulled on one of Sam’s hoodies that hung down to my knees and wore a pair of pair of black legging, running a warm cloth over my face to freshen up when I heard a rapid knocking at the front door
My heart filled with panic and I was becoming hesitant about coming clean, I opened the door and there he stood, towering over me like a god yet still so soft on me
He swooped down and lifted me easily into his arms and held me close, being back in his arms just felt right it felt like home and so I broke down again as I clung to him
“Sammy” I whined as I hide my tear streaked face in his shoulder smelling his oh so wonderful cologne
He brought me inside and sat me down on the couch, Dean looming in the room after he rummaged for food in our kitchen
“Angel what’s wrong? You don’t look so good” he asked as he stroked my hair helping calm me
“You’ve been gone so long and I understand but it’s been a hard 3 months alone, I can’t sleep, I can’t think straight, I’m broke and……..”
“And what?” Dean intervened making my heart jump, Sam sending him a glare
“I thought I was just sick but…….im pregnant” I felt so vulnerable as he just looked at me seeming to be in shock
“You’re joking” Dean groaned
“I didn’t mean too…..im sorry” I say as my lip trembled
“Oh Angel this isn’t your fault it’s mine and I shouldn’t have left you alone so long like that I don’t know what I was thinking” he sighs as he holds me to his chest
“Family business Sammy” Dean stated
“Dean stop”
“Sam if being with your family is so important and doing all these jobs I understand but if that’s what you want then I don’t want to hold you back if this isn’t what you want anymore”
“What? No of course I want you I want this, you’re my soulmate and I’m never letting you go again, you deserve to know the truth”
“Sam don’t” deans assertive tone booming in the room
After Sam told me everything about this new supernatural world I was sceptic at first but honestly it connected a lot of dots
“So these jobs you work are important but I can’t go months being apart again”
“You can come with us, just for while you’re pregnant and then when you give birth we can go home and settle” he said with a bright smile, that smile I fell in love with
“Are you sure Dean won’t hate me” I whisper to him
“He’ll lighten up trust me Angel”
Tumblr media
Sam helped me pack all the my clothes and personal items I needed and we were off on the road, it was a nice car with lots of room for me to stretch out in the back
“So where are we going?”
“There’s signs of a vampires nest in a small town, going to check it out see what’s going on” Dean says his eyes still on the road, he still made me a bit nervous though
“Umm are vampires one of the easier monsters you deal with?” I ask trying to make conversation
“They can be, but a nest of them can be a bitch”
They go on to tell me all the cases they’ve worked since they’ve been gone and it’s crazy to wrap my head around, after driving all day we finally got to the town settling into a little motel room
“I’m gonna go pick us up some dinner” Dean said as he threw his bag on his bed and left
I sat on the bed me and Sam are sharing sighing once the door closed
“What’s wrong Angel?”
“I just hate being a burden to you guys I know how stressful this is for you plus having this baby….”
“Hey you’re not a burden I’m just glad you’re with me now, being cooped up with Dean 24/7 can become a bit macho” he says making me laugh
“Do you think it’ll be a boy or a girl?” I ask as he places his hand on my tiny bump
“I’m happy with either, you know my mother would have loved you you’re as kind as she was, well atleast that’s what Dean says about her”
“You know this baby is the luckiest in the world to have you as their father, and such a handsome one at that” he smiled as he pulled me into his lap pulling me close
“I’ve missed this, holding you” his hand runs down my back sending shivers
“Kissing you” his lips gently press to my collar bone making me gasp
“Being with you at night” the door bursts open interrupting our moment, I jump out of his lap and their stands Dean and what I believe to be their father from old pictures Sam has showed me
“Sammy trying to get some” Dean laughed making my body heat in embarrassment
“Who’s this?” John asked his voice full of disapproval
“Dad where have you been? Never mind that right now, this is y/n my girlfriend”
“And what the hell is she doing here son?” I felt little under his gaze
“She can’t be alone she’s pregnant” Sam said confidently as he held my hand
“Sam what the hell were you thinking, you can’t have a pregnant girl doing this job, you need to be focused”
“Maybe I should just go home” I say as I go to pick up my bag
“No! You’re staying Angel I’m not letting you go again” he said as he wiped a stray tear I didn’t know had escaped my waterline
“She’s family now dad, you can’t push her away cause if you do then you’re just gonna push me away too, for good this time” John sighed and gave a look to Dean
“Tomorrow we’re going to stake out the vampires nest, be ready” he said sternly before stomping out of the room leaving an awkward cloud looming over the three of us
“Come on you two let’s eat” Dean said in a lighter tone obviously trying to pick up what his father ruined
We ate at the little table chatting about random things, how Sam and I met, our first date and how nervous Sam was, almost everything we had together up until this point
“Have you told your family about the baby?” Dean asked after he took a swig of beer
“I don’t really have family, I was raised in an orphanage and when I turned 18 I was pretty much on my own, I stayed in the schools dorms until Sam and I moved in together, plus our friends kind of changed after first year so it’s mostly just been Sammy and I”
“I’m sorry”
“Oh no it’s fine I’m happy with the way my life turned out it lead me to Sam after all” I smile looking at Sam who had that loving look, he was so gentle compared to his brother
“You guys are going to make me hurl”
Tumblr media
It’s been a crazy and stressful 6 months but I’m now in the last week of pregnancy and to say I’m scared is an understatement, I’m terrified but I feel like I can’t tell Dean and Sam with what they face everyday, this is probably a walk in the park to them
They were out right now hunting a werewolf as I paced back and forth in yet another motel room, I’ve been having cramps in my stomach since I woke up but I just thought it could be indigestion from the food we ate last night but they’ve only gotten stronger, walking helps but this could just be Braxton’s hocks I try to tell my self that is u til my water breaks, I’m hesitant to call Sam because of the case but like he said this is more important, I dialed hoping he’d answer
“Hey we’re on our way back now did you need us to pick you up anything?”
“Sam my water broke” I could hear him tell Dean to drive faster
“Okay just hold on we’ll be there soon, just do the breathing exercises like we practiced”
“Okay I’ll try” I breath deeply as another contraction hit a whimper left me but I know it’s going to get much worse
Minutes later Sam and Dean busy through the hotel room, Dean get my to go bag and Sam gently picks me up and brings me to the car sitting with me in the back
“Sammy I’m scared”
“We’re almost to the hospital hold on kiddo” Dean said trying to reassure me, he’d warmed up to me over the months like Sam said
“You can do this, think of our little girl or boy we’re about to meet” I nodded gripping his hand, we got to the hospital and were settled in a private room, Sam at my side and Dean on the couch used for husband or partners
“What if something happens?” I ask as he brushes my hair back
“Everything will be okay, you’re the strongest woman I know”
“It’s time Mrs Winchester” the doctor said making my heart swell at the name, he was wrong but I didn’t care
After some agonizing pushes that pressure was gone replaced by a little babies cries, the nurse laid the baby on my chest and she was beautiful, she had Sam big green hazel eyes and had light brown hair
“Congrats on a baby girl” the nurse said, they cleaned me up and left the room letting the four of us settle
“What are you going to name my little niece?” Dean asked now standing on the other side of the bed mesmerized by her
“How about Luna Mary Winchester” I say looking up to Sam for his opinion
“I love it, I love you, both of you” he smiled as he played with Lunas little fingers
“The three of us just became four”
✨Obsessed - Pt. 7 (The End)✨
Summary: After weeks of searching, you finally found Dean. However, he was no longer the man you had been in love with- but more importantly, no longer the man who never returned your love. Because now, in his twisted state, he was somehow obsessed with you.
Pairing: Dean x Reader
Warnings: Language, fluff, breastfeeding (seems like people might be offended by this)
Around ten minutes later, you were already in your private room, the environment calm and quiet. Dean was right by your side, never taking his eyes off you or the baby. He looked at you with so much love and pride, it made your heart swell.
A nurse came in, her demeanor gentle and professional. “Would you like to try feeding him?”, she asked, her voice soft. “He must be very hungry and exhausted after the journey he just had”.
You nodded, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. The nurse smiled warmly and approached the bed, her movements slow and deliberate. “Alright”, she said gently. “Let’s get you both comfortable”.
She helped you adjust the pillows behind your back, ensuring you had enough support. Dean watched intently, his eyes never leaving your face. The nurse then guided you on how to position the baby, her hands steady and reassuring.
“Try to hold him like this”, she instructed, demonstrating the best way to cradle him close to your chest. “Support his head with your hand and make sure his mouth is aligned with your nipple”.
You followed her instructions, feeling the baby’s warm, soft body against you. His tiny head was cradled in your hand, and you could feel the delicate weight of him as he moved slightly, searching instinctively.
“Just guide him gently”, the nurse continued. “He’ll know what to do”.
With a deep breath, you helped your baby latch on, feeling a mix of relief and amazement as he began to nurse. The sensation was unfamiliar but profoundly intimate, a connection you had never experienced before. The baby’s small mouth moved rhythmically, his eyes closing as he fed.
With amazement in your eyes, you watched as your baby nursed. You gently brushed over his little cheek, feeling the soft, delicate skin beneath your fingers. It was the first time you had ever held a baby, and you would be lying if you said you weren’t afraid of doing something wrong.
Suddenly, your baby bit down on your nipple, and even though he didn’t have teeth, your nipple was so sensitive that you shook and let out a squeak. The unexpected reaction startled him and he immediately began to cry.
Panic surged through you, and you looked toward the nurse, clearly feeling helpless. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry”, you mumbled over and over, tears already forming in your eyes because you felt so bad.
The nurse stepped closer again, her presence calm and reassuring. She placed a gentle hand on your shoulder, her eyes filled with understanding. “It’s okay, sweetheart. You’re doing just fine. Babies can get startled easily, but it’s not your fault. Let’s work through this together”.
She didn’t take the baby from you but instead knelt beside the bed, her demeanor soothing. “Here, let’s try to calm him down while he’s still with you. This will help you both build confidence”.
The nurse guided your hand to gently cradle the baby’s head, showing you how to support him more securely. “Hold him close to your chest, so he can hear your heartbeat. That sound is very familiar and comforting to him”.
You adjusted your hold, bringing the baby closer. His cries began to quiet slightly as he nestled against you, his tiny body fitting perfectly in your arms. The nurse then placed her hand over yours, guiding your motions. “Now, gently rock him back and forth. Not too fast, just a slow, steady rhythm”.
You followed her instructions, rocking your baby gently. His cries softened further, and you could feel his tiny muscles relaxing. The nurse continued to speak in a calm, encouraging tone. “You’re doing great. Babies can sense when their mothers are stressed, so taking deep breaths and staying calm helps him too”.
You took a few deep breaths, trying to steady your emotions. The nurse then showed you how to gently pat your baby’s back. “This can help soothe him as well. Light, rhythmic pats”.
As you patted his back gently, your baby’s cries subsided into soft whimpers, and eventually, he grew quiet, his little body relaxing completely. The nurse smiled warmly, her eyes filled with pride for you. “See? You did that. You calmed him down all by yourself”.
You looked down at your now calm baby, tears of relief and joy filling your eyes. “Thank you”, you whispered to the nurse, your voice trembling with gratitude.
Dean, who had been watching intently, leaned in and kissed your forehead again. “You were amazing, Y/N. Look at him. He’s so calm now”.
The nurse gave you a final nod of encouragement. “You’re a natural. Trust yourself and remember, it’s okay to ask for help. You’re doing wonderfully”.
The nurse, sensing your relief and renewed confidence, kindly urged you to continue feeding your baby. “Let’s try nursing again. He’s probably still hungry after that little interruption”, she said with a gentle smile.
You nodded and carefully positioned your baby once more, with the nurse’s reassuring guidance. Your baby latched on again, this time more smoothly, and began nursing.
As you nursed, another nurse entered the room, holding a clipboard. “Excuse me, we need to get the baby’s name for the records. Have you decided on one yet?”.
You smiled and looked over at Dean, who had the honor of choosing the name. He met your gaze with a proud smile. “His name is Ben”, Dean said, his voice filled with warmth and pride.
The nurse wrote down the name, then asked, “And the last name?”.
Before either of you could respond, Sam’s voice came from the doorway. “Winchester. He’s a Winchester”, he said proudly, stepping into the room with Castiel right behind him.
You couldn’t help but smile at the sight of them. Despite the intimate setting, you didn’t mind their presence. Nursing a baby wasn’t anything sexual, and having the family around made the moment even more special.
Sam’s face lit up as he took in the scene. “Sorry, but I couldn’t wait any longer. I had to see my nephew”, he said, his tone both touched and amused.
Dean chuckled, his eyes shining with pride and happiness. “Come on in, guys. Meet Ben”.
Sam and Castiel approached the bed, their expressions filled with awe and admiration. “He’s beautiful”, Sam said softly, his eyes misting up as he looked at the baby. “You did good, Y/N. Both of you”.
Castiel nodded, his usual stoic demeanor softened by the presence of the newborn. “He’s a miracle”, he said simply, his voice filled with reverence.
You felt a wave of emotion wash over you, grateful for the support and love surrounding you. “Thank you”, you said, your voice choked with emotion. “It means so much to have you here”.
Sam reached out and gently touched Ben’s tiny hand. “Welcome to the family, Ben Winchester”, he said softly, his voice filled with pride.
The room was filled with a sense of peace and joy, the family united in the presence of this new life.
As Ben fell asleep in your arms, the nurse helped you close your hospital gown, making sure you were comfortable. You looked down at your sleeping baby and then up at the nurse. “Does he need to get dressed?”, you asked softly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful moment.
The nurse nodded, a kind smile on her face. “Yes, he should be dressed to keep him warm. We have some outfits here, or you can use one you brought”.
You turned your gaze towards Dean, who had been watching the entire scene with a mixture of awe and pride. “Dean, could you get one of the outfits we brought?”, you asked gently.
Dean’s eyes lit up, and he nodded eagerly. “Of course”. He moved quickly to the bag you had packed, rummaging through it until he found a soft, cozy onesie. He brought it over, his eyes never leaving Ben’s tiny form.
The nurse took the outfit from Dean and expertly dressed Ben without waking him. The sight of your tiny son in his first outfit brought fresh tears to your eyes. “He looks so perfect”, you whispered, your voice filled with emotion.
Dean nodded, his expression tender. “He really does”.
Sam and Castiel stood nearby, their faces reflecting the same pride and love you felt.
The nurse finished dressing Ben and gently handed him back to you. “There, all set. If you need anything, just let us know. We’ll give you some time alone with your family”.
You nodded, grateful for the nurse’s help and understanding. As she left the room, you looked around at the faces of the people you loved most in the world. Sam was clenching his fingers, clearly eager to hold his nephew, but waiting patiently for you to offer. Dean, meanwhile, seemed more tense, his eyes fixed on Ben with a mix of awe and trepidation. He hadn’t yet held his son, and you could see the longing and fear in his eyes.
You smiled gently at Dean, recognizing his nervousness. “Dean”, you said softly, “would you like to hold him?”.
Dean’s eyes widened, and he swallowed hard, clearly caught off guard by your offer. “I… I don’t know if I should”, he mumbled, his voice wavering. “What if I do something wrong?”.
“You won’t. Just support his head and be gentle. You’ll be great”.
Dean hesitated for a moment longer, then nodded. He carefully took Ben from your arms, his movements slow and deliberate. As soon as Ben was nestled in his father’s arms, Dean’s expression softened, the tension melting away. He looked down at his son, a mixture of wonder and love in his eyes.
“Hey there, little guy”, Dean whispered, his voice thick with emotion. “I’m your dad”.
Ben squirmed slightly, his tiny hand reaching out and grasping Dean’s finger. The sight brought a lump to your throat, and you felt tears welling up again.
Dean’s eyes were filled with tears as he looked down at Ben, his heart overflowing with love and awe. A few tears began to fall down his cheeks, and he didn’t even try to wipe them away. He was completely captivated by the tiny life in his arms.
Sam, watching the tender moment, couldn’t resist a teasing but loving comment. “Hey, Dean, who knew you had such a soft side?”, he said with a grin, his voice gentle.
Dean glanced up at Sam, his smile wide and unguarded. “Shut up, Sammy”, he replied, but there was no heat in his words. He sat down on the chair beside your bed, still holding Ben close, his eyes never leaving his son’s face.
Meanwhile, Castiel stepped closer to you, his concern evident. He handed you a glass of water, his expression thoughtful. “Do you need anything else? Some food, perhaps?”, he asked, his voice gentle.
You smiled gratefully, taking the water from him and sipping it slowly. “Thank you, Cas. Some food would be great. I didn’t realize how hungry I was until now”.
Cas nodded, looking around the room as if he could produce food out of thin air. “I’ll see what I can find”, he said, his tone serious.
Dean looked up from Ben, his expression softening as he met your eyes. “You okay, Y/N?”, he asked, his voice filled with concern.
You nodded, a warm smile spreading across your face. “I’m good, Dean, thanks. You just have your moment there”, you said softly, watching the tender scene unfold.
Sam pulled up a chair next to Dean and leaned in, his eyes filled with wonder as he looked at Ben. He extended his pointer finger and gently touched Ben’s tiny hand, marveling at the softness. “Man, it’s so soft”, Sam whispered, his voice filled with awe.
Ben’s little fingers curled around Sam’s finger, holding on with surprising strength. Sam’s eyes widened, and he looked up at Dean, who was watching with a proud smile. “He’s got quite a grip for someone so small”, Sam said, his tone affectionate.
Dean chuckled softly, his gaze shifting between Sam and Ben. “Yeah, he’s a strong little guy. Takes after his dad”.
You laughed, feeling a deep sense of contentment as you watched the two brothers bond with your son.
Castiel returned a few moments later, carrying a tray with a variety of snacks and a sandwich. “I found some food”, he announced, setting the tray down on the small table beside your bed. “I hope this is to your liking”.
You smiled gratefully at Cas. “This is perfect, thank you”.
Cas nodded, his expression pleased. He moved to stand beside Dean, looking down at Ben with a curious but gentle gaze.
Ben still slept peacefully, his tiny chest rising and falling with each breath, but even in his sleep, he seemed to hold the attention of all three men completely captive. Dean, Sam, and Castiel were utterly entranced by the newborn.
Dean couldn’t take his eyes off his son, marveling at every little detail—the delicate lashes, the tiny fingers, and the soft tufts of hair. His heart swelled with an emotion so intense it was almost overwhelming.
Meanwhile, you took a bite of your sandwich, savoring the much-needed sustenance. Every muscle in your body ached, a dull throb that underscored the physical toll of labor, but the exhaustion was overshadowed by the pure happiness and contentment you felt. Your eyes stayed on Ben, absorbing every precious detail.
As you chewed, your gaze shifted to Dean. He looked up at that exact moment, and your eyes met. The connection between you was immediate and profound, a silent exchange of love and gratitude.
Dean’s expression softened even more, if that was possible. His eyes, still misty with unshed tears, conveyed everything he felt without needing words. You smiled back at him, your heart overflowing with the love you felt for this man and the beautiful family you had created together.
“Thank you”, you mouthed silently to him, feeling the words deeply.
Dean nodded, a small, tender smile playing on his lips.
You finished your sandwich, barely awake. The nurse returned to check on you and the baby, ensuring everything was progressing well. Dean, still holding Ben, shifted slightly to allow the nurse to perform her checks without disturbing the sleeping baby.
Dean sighed softly, his voice filled with a mix of emotions. “Alright, Sammy, ready to hold him?”.
Sam nodded eagerly, his arms already outstretched. “Absolutely”, he said, his excitement barely contained.
The two brothers exchanged Ben very carefully, their movements awkward but incredibly gentle. Dean made sure Sam had a secure hold on the baby, a proud smile on his face.
Once Dean was sure Ben was safe in Sam’s arms, he walked over to you. Without a word, he sat down beside you on the bed and gently pulled you into his arms, cradling you against his chest. His fingers brushed through your hair, a soothing and affectionate gesture that made you feel even more loved and cherished.
“You were amazing”, Dean whispered, his voice filled with awe and pride. “I’m so proud of you”.
Tears welled up in your eyes again, not from pain or exhaustion, but from the overwhelming love you felt for Dean and your new family. “Thank you, Dean. I couldn’t have done it without you”.
Dean held you tighter, his lips brushing against your forehead. “You’re the strongest person I know, Y/N. You brought our son into this world. I’m so grateful for you”.
Dean held you close, his warmth and soothing words enveloping you in a cocoon of love and safety. You felt your eyelids grow heavy, the exhaustion from the day finally catching up to you. With Dean's comforting presence by your side, you allowed yourself to drift off, feeling a sense of peace and contentment that you hadn't felt in a long time.
Dean noticed your breathing slowing and your body relaxing against him. He continued to hold you, his fingers gently running through your hair. He watched you for a moment, his heart swelling with love and pride. "Rest, sweetheart", he whispered softly. "I've got you".
As you fell into a deep sleep, Dean carefully maneuvered you so you were lying comfortably on the bed. He tucked the blanket around you, making sure you were warm and secure. Then, he turned his attention back to Sam and Ben.
Sam was still holding Ben, his eyes filled with awe as he gazed at his nephew. "He's something else, Dean", Sam said quietly, not wanting to disturb you.
Dean nodded, his smile widening. "Yeah, he really is. It's hard to believe he's finally here".
The room was filled with a serene silence, the only sound the soft breathing of you and Ben. Dean sat down beside Sam, watching his son with a mixture of amazement and pride.
"Can I hold him again?", Dean asked, his voice filled with anticipation.
Sam nodded, carefully transferring Ben back to Dean. "Of course. He's your son, after all".
Dean cradled Ben in his arms, his heart overflowing with love. He gently rocked his son, marveling at the tiny life he held.
As Dean held Ben, he felt a sense of completeness he had never known before. Surrounded by his family, he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.
Dean looked down at Ben, a mixture of awe and disbelief in his voice. “Look at him, Sammy. He’s so damn tiny. I can nearly hold him with one hand”.
Sam quickly interjected, a hint of panic in his tone. “Don’t try it, Dean”.
Dean chuckled softly, the sound filled with warmth. “I won’t, I won’t. Just… look at him. I’ve never seen anything so perfect”.
Sam chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Look at you, Dean. You’re all in on this dad thing already”.
Dean shrugged, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. “How could I not be? Look at him. He’s so damn cute”.
Sam nodded, still smiling. “Yeah, he is. It’s kind of surreal, isn’t it?”.
“Yeah, it is. I never thought I’d get to experience this. It’s…amazing”.
Sam patted Dean on the back, his voice filled with genuine affection. “You’re going to be great at this, Dean”.
As the evening came and Ben was sleeping again in Dean’s arms, you found yourself gazing up at Dean, a questioning hint in your eyes. The moment was silent, filled with unspoken emotions, but without words, he knew exactly what you were thinking.
Dean leaned in closer, his voice a gentle whisper. “I meant it, Y/N. I love you”.
You swallowed hard, tears welling up in your eyes as you tried to process his words. “You probably just think so because of Ben”, you mumbled, your voice trembling with uncertainty.
Dean shook his head, his expression earnest and filled with conviction. “No, it’s not just because of Ben. It’s everything. Seeing you with him, yes, but also everything we’ve been through together. You’ve always been there, and I’ve been a fool not to realize it sooner”.
You looked into his eyes, searching for any doubt or hesitation but finding none. “Dean…”.
He gently placed a hand on your cheek, his thumb brushing away a tear that had escaped. “I love you, Y/N. I know I’ve messed up in the past, but I want to make things right. For you, for Ben, for all of us”.
Dean paused, his hand falling from your cheek as he took a deep breath. "A week after you left, I realized what I felt. You were so young when we first met, not even 18. I saw you as my little sister at first, and I was more than twice your age. It felt wrong to even think about you that way".
You listened intently, your heart aching as he continued. "But as time went on, you became more than just someone to protect. You became my partner, my friend, and then… more. I fought it because I thought it was wrong. I thought I was too old for you, that you deserved someone better. And then, when you left, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I missed you so much, and I realized that it wasn’t just about missing a friend or a partner. I was in love with you”.
His eyes were filled with regret and longing, and you could see the struggle he had gone through written all over his face. “I should have told you sooner, should have been honest with myself and with you. But I was scared. Scared of what it would mean for us, for you. And now, seeing you with Ben, knowing we have this incredible little person together, I know I can’t hide it anymore. I love you, Y/N, with everything I have”.
You felt your own tears start to fall, the weight of his words sinking in. “Dean, I… I never stopped loving you. Even when I left, it was because I didn’t want to complicate things. I thought you didn’t feel the same”.
He pulled you into his arms, careful not to disturb Ben, who was still sleeping peacefully. “We’ve both made mistakes, but we have a chance to start fresh. To build something real together. For us, and for Ben”.
You nodded, feeling a sense of hope and determination. “I want that, too. More than anything”.
Dean smiled, his eyes shining with love. “Then let’s do it. Let’s be a family”.
As you leaned into his embrace, you felt a sense of peace and completeness you hadn’t felt in a long time. No matter what challenges lay ahead, you knew you would face them together, as a family.
Four days later, you finally stepped into the bunker, grateful to be home after the whirlwind of the past few days. Dean carried Ben carefully in his arms, his expression a mix of pride and protectiveness. Sam and Castiel had gone ahead to prepare for your arrival, and they now stood waiting at the entrance with Jodie and her girls, Claire and Alex.
Dean’s free hand was gently guiding you, providing support as you still struggled a bit with walking after the delivery. The moment you crossed the threshold, you were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming arms.
“Welcome home!”, Jodie exclaimed, her face lighting up as she saw you and the baby. “We’ve been waiting for you”.
Claire and Alex crowded around, their faces full of curiosity and excitement. “Can we see the baby?”, Claire asked eagerly.
Dean nodded, carefully lowering Ben so they could get a better look. “This is Ben”, he said proudly, his voice soft and affectionate.
Claire and Alex cooed over the baby, their eyes wide with wonder. “He’s so tiny!”, Alex whispered, her expression filled with awe.
Jodie stepped forward, hugging you gently. “How are you feeling, Y/N?”.
You smiled, leaning into her embrace. “Exhausted but happy. It’s good to be home”.
Sam stepped up, his grin wide as he looked at Ben. “This little guy’s going to be spoiled rotten with all the love around here”.
Dean chuckled, his eyes never leaving Ben. “Yeah, he’s already got everyone wrapped around his tiny finger”.
Castiel watched the scene with his usual calm demeanor, a small smile playing on his lips. “It’s good to have everyone together”, he said, his voice full of quiet contentment.
With Dean’s help, you made your way to the couch and sat down, grateful for the support. Dean sat beside you, still holding Ben, who was sleeping soundly despite the excitement around him.
Everyone gathered around Ben, their faces filled with anticipation and love as they waited patiently for their turn to hold the baby. Dean carefully passed Ben to Claire first, who cradled him gently, her eyes wide with wonder. Alex stood close, eagerly waiting for her turn, while Jodie watched the scene with a warm smile.
Jodie placed a hand on your shoulder, her touch comforting. “Did everything go smoothly?”, she asked softly, her eyes searching yours for any signs of distress.
You nodded, giving her a tired but genuine smile. “Yeah, it went well. A bit earlier than expected, but everything turned out fine. Dean and Cas were amazing”.
Jodie squeezed your shoulder gently. “I’m so glad to hear that. You’ve been through a lot, and you deserve all the happiness in the world”.
Dean leaned in, kissing your temple softly before pulling you tightly against him. His warmth and presence were comforting, a silent reminder of the love and support he provided. Jodie, observing the tender moment, raised an eyebrow and pointed between the two of you, a knowing grin spreading across her face.
"So, Dean finally accepted his feelings for you?", she teased, her eyes twinkling with amusement. It was clear she had suspected the truth long before Dean had come to terms with it himself.
Dean chuckled, a bit sheepishly, and nodded. "Yeah, I guess I did", he admitted, looking at you with a mixture of love and gratitude. "It just took me a while to realize what was right in front of me".
Jodie laughed softly, giving you both a warm, approving look. "Well, it's about time. I'm happy for you both. And for Ben, too. He's got a great family".
Alex, holding Ben now, looked up and smiled. "Yeah, he sure does", she agreed, gently rocking the baby in her arms. Claire nodded, still standing close, her eyes filled with admiration.
As the evening continued, the sense of unity and love among your friends and family grew even stronger. Dean's acceptance of his feelings for you and the love you both shared for Ben became a beacon of hope and happiness, illuminating the path ahead.
As everyone took turns holding Ben, you leaned against Dean, feeling his steady heartbeat against your side. The room was filled with laughter, soft conversations, and the warmth of shared love and support.
Eventually, the time came for Jodie, Claire, and Alex to leave. They each gave you and Dean warm hugs, promising to visit again soon. Sam and Castiel lingered for a while longer, making sure everything was settled before heading off to their rooms.
Finally, it was just you, Dean, and Ben. Dean helped you to your room, making sure you were comfortable before placing Ben in the crib nearby. He then sat beside you, wrapping his arm around your shoulders and pulling you close.
"We’re really a family now", he whispered, his voice filled with awe and love.
You rested your head against his chest, feeling a deep sense of peace. "Yeah, we are. And I wouldn’t have it any other way".
my alpha | sam winchester
title: my alpha
characters: alpha sam winchester x omega reader
summary: you're destined to be mated with your own teacher and both of you made a beautiful family together.
masterlists | sam winchester one-shots
for one year you're studying at the community college, attend his classes, speak to dr. winchester countless of times, not once your body (or his) reacting towards each other. well, except for today.
dr. sam winchester is a lawyer, but he spends his spare time teaching at the community college you're in. law is his major, unlike you. you're a writing student, but taking a law class is a compulsory elective. not taking law class or fail law class, you're unable to graduate.
there was not an issue with meeting dr. winchester in class for the past three weeks. okay, well, maybe there was. for an example, your heart skips a beat every time your eyes locked with him; your knees went weak every time he's near; you were suddenly nervous to talk to him. for the past three weeks, though there was not much of an issue, but you've became quiet in his class.
your heat just ended last week. that makes it even weirder.
you try to ignore the uncomfortable-ness. despite sitting in a cold room, you feel hot. your t-shirt is suddenly too tight for you and is sticking to your skin. your heart rate is fast like you just run a 100 metre sprint. you're sweating under your armpit. your lips are pale. you cannot concentrate in class.
your friends notice something–something is not right with you today. they ask if you're okay and you know you can't lie because it's so obvious that you're indeed not okay, but you how do you tell your human friends that you're having some kind of animalistic reaction because of your dynamic? you end up telling them that you're having a headache (in which, isn't wrong either).
and throughout the class, you and sam keep on locking eyes and every time that happens, you feel slick coming out of your vagina. "oh, god. not now," you tell yourself inside your head even though you're still clueless to what's happening to you. you're not in heat. in fact, your heat just ended. and you're not sme–
ohhh, your eyes flutter–or is that your heart? that smell. oh, god, that smell! it's so... it's so sweet and manly and strong... and it's urging you to go towards that smell, scenting him, claim him, embrace yourself around that sme–
you open your eyes (you didn't even realise you were closing your eyes) and there they are again–sam's eyes. something in those eyes made the small voice inside your head say "GO!" is this your soulmate calling? is this your omega voice telling you that you're finally found your mate? but, isn't it supposed to say "mate!" or that only happens to certain people? is your case special?
you really want to leave dr. winchester's class because you can't sit under his stare anymore. you need to go to the washroom and clean yourself because, gosh, you're so wet down there. but law is a difficult subject so whether you like it or not, you stayed.
you stayed and you stayed and you stayed some more when the class was dismissed. you waited until the class is empty. you lie to your friends, telling them that you have a question regarding your assignments. and although you feel weird, although you don't understand what's happening to your body, but old enough to understand that indeed you've found your mate.
you didn't move from your seat even though your omega is keen to run from the alpha just because she likes to be chased and she knows that an alpha likes to chase. you keep your eyes away from sam, afraid that there'll be more slick coming out from your if your eyes locked with his again. and you're shivering as your eyes watched sam's shadow approaching you.
sam stands opposite from you, on the other end of your table. you watch his long fingers taping the table. "you're in heat."
his voice. gosh, his voice. his voice was louder, clearer, and a pitch higher when he's lecturing but when it's only you two in the room, his voice drops a few notes lower making him sounds more manly. his voice more raspy and sexy.
you're hot and you're cold. you're sweating but you're shivering. you're shaking but you're scared. you're pale but you're alive. you want to leave but you can't. your body hurts, but even sitting still don't do justice.
"no," you say with a shake of your head. "my heat ended a few days ago."
you thought sam knew why both of you are suddenly longing for each other's touch and presence so you waited to hear the answer coming from sam's mouth, but nothing came. there was pause and that made you look up to his eyes. goddammit, you wished you didn't do it because just a second after that, you're on your feet with sam's arm around your waist and his nose at the crook of your neck.
"alpha," you moan.
sam's reacting positively to your voice calling him alpha. he's excited. you can feel him on your stomach. and you're excited too. though sam's nose is between your neck and shoulder blade, scenting you, but you know he can smell your arousal.
he lets out a sigh with a mix of a groan. one arm around your waist, the other is gripping your thigh. it's like he's angry. it's like he can't wait to do things to you, but he's still trying to keep himself sane. it's like he's patient yet not. "mmm, you smell so good, 'mega."
"what's happening? i'm not in heat. then why–"
"maybe it's the bond. i'm in a... i'm in a rut."
"then–" you gulp. you don't want to touch sam before getting the answer, but it feels so good to be wrapped around the alpha's arm, to be touched by him, to be surrounded by his scent. "why–why are you in school? aren't you suppose–"
"omega," he said.
one word–one word that means a lot. one word that means "i don't need to be anywhere else". one word that means "i don't need to lock myself in an abandoned cottage in the middle of nowhere." one word that means "i have what i want here. you."
you let sam touch you. you let sam guide you touching him. you let your own emotion drowned into sam's smell. then suddenly, sam is panting.
"alpha, are you okay?" you ask, genuinely worried.
sam cannot answer your question properly. he's sweating so bad. he's raking his tie like it's the most annoying thing in the world. his eyes are diluted, distant. his alpha is dominating him. and with your sweet scent... he's becoming insane. all he could do was grunting with his hands all over your body as if two hands are not enough touching you.
"alpha, we're–" you hiccuped when you feel sam's hand in between your legs. "we're in class. alpha, you can't–"
you gasped when sam roared and kissed you heavily as if to shut you up and make you forget wherever you are now. and maybe he succeeded because, after that, you forgot where you are.
Tumblr media
"hey."
you smile at your alpha, who is already handsome and neat in his suit, but is still busy making breakfast for you. "hey." your eyebrows furrowed. "are you not working today?"
"i am. why?" sam licks a nutella that accidentally got stuck on his finger, showing a pair of cute dimples on his cheeks.
"nothing. you're... you're already in your uniform. you shouldn't be running around the kitchen." you step towards the kitchen counter and take a sit on one of the tall stool in front of sam. two mugs were ready to be drank. you grab yours, which is the opposite colour of your alpha's. "you made me tea? you know i don't mind coffee."
"i know." sam gives you smile so sweet that makes your heart beats faster. "but i also know you prefer. i got to get work now. what time is your class?"
"10," you answer simply before taking a sip of tea that your alpha made for you. once the taste hits your taste buds, you feel as if the world changed its colours. "oh, jeez, this is so good!"
sam's heart grows hearing your compliment. something with the compliment, and the way his omega drinking tea he made for her, makes him puffing his chest. and how he wish–oh how he wish– he could kiss you all day just because you like his tea he made for you.
"want to ride together?" your alpha offers.
"what, oh..." you stutter.
sam is a brilliant man. he's a good lecturer. he's a good lawyer. you're proud to have him as your mate. but also, you're still new to this relationship. you're still adjusting to the situation because who knew your mate is your own teacher? you're not ready to be seen together by the whole campus especially that you know dating your lecturer is against college's rule.
you know sam understands behind your "why, oh..." as an omega, you know you can't say no when your alpha is offering you something. it's not even your decision either or not you go public with your mate. and because of these, you're ready to be yelled, to be punished by your alpha. you keep your head down as you prepare yourself for any kind of force against you.
but to your surprise... none came.
none of the above came.
sam was already at the front door, ready to leave for work when he offered you a ride so when he sees you as if ready for punishment, sam walks back to you and kiss your temple.
"finish your breakfast, omega. see you at 10."
your heart warms. you feel like breaking down. all these times... all the tales mated people tell you, the stories your friends tell you about the men in their families and lives, you know how lucky you are to have sam as your mate.
Tumblr media
the relationship with sam isn't easy. obviously, as mentioned earlier, he's a teacher. you're a student. it's illegal to have a relationship with a teacher despite being mated. though not everybody understand your dynamic especially that the university is mostly populated by humans, but life must go on and yours and sam's relationship ended up being acknowledged by the university's dean.
you live in the hostel provided by the college. good for sam, he rents a house outside though nearby the college so it's shorter form him to travel from his house to the college (even though he has outside work most times). when the dean knows you've been living with sam on and off, he decides that it's better you live with sam now.
like live with him as real mates. which also means you and sam carpooling together to college; which means being seen together publicly; which means you have to accept that this is now your life. and you do. it's no one's fault here.
and it's somewhere after three months of relationship. you're in law class with your friends, waiting for sam to arrive (you don't know why he's late and you're annoyed that he's late and you can't help wondering where he's been though you refused to text him or call him) and your friend says, "you look sparking."
you pulled a face. "what does that mean?"
your friend, joined by other of your friends, are giggling to themselves while your wait for their answer. you look sparkling, what does that really mean? didn't you look pretty before? did you look like an ugly cockroach before? even if you do look sparkling today, then why is sam–
speaking of the devil. there he comes striding inside the class. good. it's been ten minutes you're waiting for his arrival, for his presence. didn't he know that you're being extra sensitive today? he should kn–
now he's looking as if he's uncomfortable in class and he just entered! while setting up his laptop to the projector and opening the presentation slide for today, he's can't stop looking his right and left and back and the class, scrunching his nose as if something smells so bad in class. his eyes catch yours. his eyebrows knitted. then, barely any reaction on his face, he gets back to his laptop and begins his lecture.
excuse me? what's wrong with him today?
slowly, you smell yourself. you wonder if the invisible smell comes from you. but yes, as you expected, it's not. in fact, you smell exactly how you left home this morning. you smell like you. yes, the class room is a mixture of bad breath and sweat, but sam never even bothered before?!.
"is something smells funny to you?" you ask your friend.
"no?"
you nod your head. "okay."
your heart started beating faster as thought running side your mind like a flashback you don't want to remember. if it's not the room, if it's not you... then...
you hear your heart breaking. it's been only three months since you mated with sam. you helped through his rut. he helped you through your heat. he makes breakfast for you. you cook him dinner. of course three months are not that many ruts and heats, but how could he cheat on you already?
you can't focus for the rest of the class. your mind is elsewhere. and every time your eyes accidentally lock with sam, he makes sure he looks away immediately. god, how can you still sit in the class room?
Tumblr media
something is different. it's not the building; it's not him; it's not the morning meeting; it's not his coffee or your tea. but something is different.
he's been so busy while making you breakfast this morning to notice anything different coming from his omega, but as soon as he arrives your college after a meeting with his client, there is this smell that feels so soft like a fresh cloth from the washing machine. this smell is so sweet like a mixture of rose and vanilla and fresh-baked cookies. this smell makes him feel like home, so homey that he can sleep on the floor of the building with this smell.
he follows the smell. and to his shock, this smell is coming from his class. the class he's about to teach in a few minutes. law class. the class you're attending. yes, the class of his omega. there are other omegas in the class, but does it make sense that this is coming from you? he really can't tell now. all he knows is that this smell–or scent–is no stranger to him.
once he dismissed the class, while the students are leaving one by one, sam scents every one of them. humans, alphas, omegas. and he knows he has to be discreet because he can't let his omega–you–to notice that he's scenting other omegas when his omega is right in front of him. it's like he's asking for a death sentence.
and just like he expected, none of them smells like this smell. the humans smell like urine. some of them even smell as if they bathed in a pool of cologne. the alphas smell like... well, alphas. sam received growls from most of them. the betas are okay, nothing so significant. the omegas makes me him cough and gag so bad.
gosh, why the hell is he scenting them?
once everybody left, sam closes and locks the door. the smell didn't leave with the rest of the students. it stays. and that worries sam even more, but excites him at the same time. he was worried because he thought he mated with the wrong mate (or is it possible that he has more than one mate?) and he's excited because his omega smells so, so, so good.
"what?" you ask with an eyebrow raised. you're irritated with sam. first, he was being weird today. second, he was late for class. third, he can't think you didn't notice him scenting those omegas?!
"come here." sam was resting half of his bum against the teacher's table.
"no."
"omega," he warns. "come. here."
the omega inside you are keen to follow her alpha's order, but you can't back down now. at least, not today. there were so much happening today and you're mad at your alpha.
"how about you come here."
instead of being angry at you, sam takes that as a challenge. with a blink of an eye, he's right in front of you. so close that you can smell the papermint in his breath. with his fast movement, you almost tumble backwards yourself, but sam is sam. he's quick grab your wrist and pull you into his arms. and just like the first time you and sam found out that you're mates, sam has his nose on your mating gland.
you wiggle to get free. "sam, i have class."
sam scents you heavier while you're still trying to get yourself free. but the harder you wiggle, the tighter sam's arm around you. it causes more friction and makes sam excited rather than letting you go. "did you–did you change your perfume?"
"perfume?" your heart breaks. seriously, something isn't right. the next time you open your mouth, your voice comes out squeaky. "since when do i wear perfumes?"
"you–"
"let me go."
sam doesn't respond to your request, but keeps on smelling you and smelling you and smelling you.
"seriously, sam, just tell me."
"tell you what?" sam genuinely looks confused.
"that you have another omega."
"what?" this time, sam lifts his head from your mating gland. his arms loosened around your waist. and finally, with one push, you succeeded let yourself free. he laughs humourlessly. "what the hell are you talking about?"
"alright, that's it. i'm leaving."
no, you didn't mean you're leaving sam, but you're leaving the class because you have another class in two hours and you need something to eat. you're not in a good mood. you're sad. you're angry. you're hungry. if there's no glucose consumed by your body, you know you won't function for next class.
however, you didn't get to go to next class because you have a bad headache. once you reach the house you and sam share, you cannot stopped vomiting. you manage to drink some plain water. you tried to have biscuits, but all of them bile out a few minutes after.
when sam comes back home that evening, and found sleeping on the bathroom floor, he panics.
"y/n? shit. y/n, hey, wake up." he softly slaps your cheek to wake you up, brings you up to his lap and moves the hair on your face. you look so pale and it scares him so much.
you unconsciously mewl when sam's scent hits your nose. and you stir and push yourself close towards sam's chest. his scent calms you down. you feel a hand rubbing the top of your head. "omega, what happened?"
"i–d–know." you manage to answer weakly. "i just..." before you could finish your sentence, you're feeling nauseas again. and you quickly turn towards the toilet bowl. you don't want vomit on your alpha.
"let's go see doctor."
you're too sick, too tired, too weak to protest. plus, you're mature enough that you understood that this isn't because of food poisoning. this isn't because of pre-heat hormones. this is something else.
you nod your head. after washing your face and brush your teeth and changed into sam's shirt (because for particular reasons and especially right now, sam's shirt is the only clothe that your omega body is accepting), sam drives you to the clinic. special clinic for werewolves. and it's far enough that you threw up a few times more on the way.
Tumblr media
you have started showing on your six months of pregnancy. you can't hide with baggy t-shirts anymore. you can't hide with your sweatshirts anymore. you can't even hide with your alphas extra, extra, extra large shirts anymore. and give up hiding it but you're still wearing sam's t-shirt as your maternity clothe because it's so comfortable and makes you calm throughout the day, on campus, without your alpha nearby.
sam is giving out informations for your assignments. and being a good student you are, you scribble notes so you won't forget even though you have more than 4 hours in a week to ask him about the assignment. while jotting down, you accidentally drop your pen and, something... a thing that if your alpha isn't a mature, possessive kind of alpha, you knew war could've happened.
sam was too far to the front to help you. and your stomach is too big for you to bend down and pick up your pen yourself so whether sam likes it or not, another alpha student in the class helps you. he bends down, picks up the pen, gets up, returns the pen to you, and smiles back at you when you say thanks to him. then, you return to your work, oblivious to how the alpha student eyeing your pregnant belly.
sam was fuming. but he's still in class. and he didn't want to lose his job especially now that both of you are expecting, he knows he wants all the luxuries to be given to his pups.
while still lecturing, he approaches you. and you can't help but to eye him warily because you know that this must have something to do with the alpha who helped you just now. once he's right beside you, he stops. he rests his hand on your shoulder at first as if to tell everyone in the lecture room that you're claimed, you're his. then, you feel his fingers caressing your mating gland.
and you shiver. and purring. and you can't stop yourself from submitting to your alpha in public, resting your head against the back of his hand. but you just had to. it's your dynamic. and you can't stop yourself especially when your alpha is showing dominance, especially when you're carrying his pups.
the humans find it cute, some make gagging sound, but with your dynamics, the situation becomes tense. the alpha who helped you keeps clenching his jaws, felt as if his ego is being torn down. other alphas look away, wishing they're anywhere else but here. betas are like humans. other omegas in the class room are glaring at you, wishing sam is caressing their mating gland or showing dominance towards them.
then, while sam's fingers are still on your mating gland, you feel something against your stomach.
"oh." you wince. you don't think it hurts, but definitely caught you off-guard. it's so hard that you feel as if your pups are trying to get themselves free from the cocoon of your belly.
"omega?" he asks, felt you jumped just now. his eyes caught your hands rubbing your stomach and he starts to panic.
"um, n–nothing, s–sir." it's wrong to call him sir, but again you're in– "oh." you jump again when there's another kick. good, that's good. the doctor says you'll be expecting kicks from your twin pups. that means your pups are healthy, but there's a problem.
you run your hands on your stomach to feel for another kick. there it is again. good. yes. just like what you want to feel even though it's so damn hurt, but why do you only feel only a pair of legs when you're pregnant with twins?
"ex–excuse me. i–i need to go to the toilet."
without waiting for sam's answer, you quickly stand up and head for the toilet as fast as your belly can bring you. once inside the toilet you lock the door (good thing the toilet is empty), wanting some privacy. you caress your stomach. up and down. left to right. trying to soothe your pups. you push your stomach here and there, trying to feel another pair of kicks, but there's still none.
you start to shake. your eyes watery. "please, moon goddess, please don't–"
suddenly, there's a knock on the door. "omega?"
as soon as you open the door, sam have his hands cup your face, asking if you're okay. but you're shaking and crying and anxious and worried about your pups that the sentence that came out of your mouth merely sounds like, "alpha, i'm– s–s–sorry. i– didn– the– pups– pups– they– hurts–"
"no, no. i'm not mad at you." sam's thumb brushes your cheeks, wiping your tears. he tries his best to purr for you so you'd come down. it's not good to be in a state like you are now for the pups. plus, he can't get answer from you when you can't speak. "tell me. tell me what happen and i'll help. sshhh, it's okay. i'm here. i'm right here with you."
"the pups–" you hiccup. "the pups–"
will sam be mad at you if you tell sam that one of the pups isn't kicking? will sam put all the blames in you because of that? will sam lock you inside your house after you tell sam about his pups?
"what happened?"
"kick. they– he– kicks."
hearing that sam sigh. his face lights up. and he smiles from ear to ear. "really?"
you nod your head. to prove him, you take sam's big hand and rests it on your stomach. sure enough, one of the pups kicks the father's hand. and sam looks as if it's the happiest day of his life.
then, something dawns on him. "but... they're twins..."
"that's what i– that's– sam, what's happening?" you burst again.
you love them. even though they haven't been born yet, but you have already love them. you don't want to lose both of them or either of them. you don't. you can't.
"let's go to the hospital." he grabs your wrist and starts leading you out of the building.
"what? you can't– you're having a class."
"they're dismissed."
"dismissed? but the class just started."
"it ended a second after you left. now let's go."
in the car towards pack hospital, you continue caressing your stomach to feel the kick of the second pair of legs. you even take sam's free hand and push it around your stomach as a trigger for the second pair to wake up. because who knows if the second pup is more attached to the father's, right? but to your dismay, there is none. still.
"hey, don't worry too much. i'm sure everything will be alright," sam says in the car. he can't see your lips turned downwards. his alpha hates to see his omega sad. but what does he know about a pregnant omega's feelings?
you ended up in the ward for a follow up.
soon, you realised the doctor was right. the other twin is the passive one though expected also being an alpha. he was sleeping and relaxing when his brother was active. that night, you feel the second kick and you and sam are overjoyed that both of you accidentally woke up other patients.
both you and sam are getting ready for class. sam is fixing his tie in front of the tall mirror while you're putting on your trousers. you approach your alpha to help him with his tie (one that he pretends he doesn't know how to tie the tie) and in front of him, you feel a gush of water coming our of your vagina like a water fall.
you look down. your trousers are fully wet. well, what else do you expect? it's water. not merely slick. there's a big black spot on the carpeted floor. the only good thing here is that, it's not blood, though it still has a distinguishing smell.
"oh, no! alpha." you reach for your big alpha with one hand and hold your belly with the other. you're yet to feel the contraction but the water is making you uncomfortable.
sam looks down with eyebrows knitted on his temple. he knows. he understands. he knows his pups are coming. he's ready but not prepared for them to come today!
sam is not thinking about his job anymore. he's barely thinking about the pungent smell. he's not thinking about the hygiene. he picks you up and places you inside his car. he kisses the top of your head before he runs back inside the house a bag and other supplies. before he leave the house, he makes sure that everything is in safe condition, only by that time, you're starting to feel the contraction.
dammit. you thought being in heat is already a torture...
sam manages to drive under speed limit but fast enough to arrive at the pack hospital before your delivery. but throughout the journey, you're already crying without tears, suppressing the contraction pain. it hurts, it hurts so damn much that it makes you re-thinking your life choice.
sam tried to be a great alpha by massaging your back. he takes off his coat and wraps it around your shoulder, hoping it'll help you with the pain. but right now, there's nothing else that could you ease with that. even with his purr, even with his kisses on your mating gland once both of you're in the hospital room and you're already in hospital gowns.
you're in the delivery room for 16 hours. 16 hours of breathing. 16 hours of massaging. 16 hours of crying. 16 hours of laughing. 16 hours of blaming your alpha for putting you through this. 16 hours of discussing either or not you want more pups (you discussed with your alpha that you want as many children both of you can produce and your alpha agreed with that). 16 hours of talking to distract you from the pain. well, only one thing way helps: the one when your alpha finger you, but even that only works for a short time.
and then, finally, after 16 hours of through these all, two beautiful alphas came out of you. the doctors are quick to clean them before returning them back to you and your alpha for claiming and skinships. and your world can't even be more beautiful than this.
birth plan
masterlist
summary: you’re pregnant with castiel’s baby… or is it babies?
pairing: castiel x female reader
rating: R for language
word count: 1.5k
warnings: pregnancy, language, medical inaccuracies i think (i’ve never been pregnant so i don’t think i describe the feeling well)
timeline: this is set in no particular season/episode but there are spoilers for the later seasons (certain characters).
author’s note: i’m basing this off a dream i had - before said dream i never even thought of cas this way at all (gotta love that subconscious, huh?) anyway, i couldn’t stop thinking of this dream so here’s a cas fic :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
when you found out you were pregnant with castiel’s baby you freaked out. not the expected ‘holy fuck there’s a living thing growing inside me’ but more like ‘holy fuck i’m gonna die in a few months cause there’s a tiny angel in my uterus’.
you cried while telling castiel, you were terrified. he assured you he wouldn’t let you die, he promised you would be okay and that the two of you could raise the baby together. if you did live, you had no clue how to raise a kid, or if you even wanted to. you had been raised a hunter and you hated it. when you were six your biggest fear was tornadoes but by the time you were seven your biggest fear was being torn apart by one of the monsters you had learned to fight.
castiel was so happy about the baby, so excited. he knew you would be a fantastic mother and he couldn’t wait to have a baby with you. he knew the baby would be loved unconditionally by so many people, too; you, him, dean, sam, jack, mary, and eileen - all of whom lived in the bunker.
as the months went by the pains grew almost unbearable. you took time away from hunting and had to stay in the bunker. castiel always made sure someone would be in the bunker with you (preferably not alone with jack, who tended to ask questions that scared you - “what if the baby is like me and you have to push a full sized person out” for example). most days cas would stay right next to you but on the rare occasion he needed to be on a hunt, you’d be alone with either eileen, mary, or one of the brothers (rowena visited a couple times, but that was more for trying to find some magical tylenol for the immense pain). you didn’t mind castiel going on hunts, in fact you wished he’d go on more so you wouldn’t feel like you were holding him back.
one morning you woke up and the pain was horrible - it felt like the baby was stabbing you from the inside. castiel tried healing you, but it was no use. the two of you decided an ultrasound was necessary.
“what?” you practically screamed, your eyes wide with fear.
“there must be some kind of mistake?” castiel knotted his brows and stared at the black and white screen in shock.
“no mistake, three heartbeats,” the doctor smiled slightly, wanting to make you feel better, but it obviously did nothing.
“cas i can’t push three kids out!” you whispered. he was holding your left hand in his and standing beside you, his right arm was draped over your shoulder. “cas- castiel i can’t! i- i’m not strong enough! i won’t!” tears were streaming down your face when you turned away from the screen and to the angel.
“could you give us a minute?” cas asked the doctor, she nodded and left. “honey it’s gonna be alright.”
“three baby angels, cas! three! how- how the fuck am i supposed to push three angels out of me, cas?” you were practically sobbing at this point. “i- i’m gonna die, aren’t i?”
“no! no you won’t! i promise you, i will not let you die,” he pulled you into his chest and rubbed your back lovingly. “i know this must be scary, triplets is- it’s gonna be painful.” he kissed the crown of your head.
“but three babies! i mean if i do, by some miracle, manage to give birth and survive, how are we gonna raise three kids, cas?” you wrapped your arms around his torso, pulling him as close to you as you could.
“well, we do have four adults and a nephilim excited to help,” he answered, causing you to laugh lightly. it’s true, you had all the support you could need.
cas drove the two of you back to the bunker and you were met with said four adults and nephilim immediately asking where you had been. the five of them were on a hunt and got back while you and cas were at the ob/gyn. you hadn’t left the bunker in months so they had assumed the worst.
you told them the news and they all reacted differently than you and cas. they were so excited, it made you realized they really wanted to help raise the kids. (infact, they had all began thinking of names and had cleaned out the room next to your’s and cas’ for the babies.)
castiel knew that your pregnancy wouldn’t last as long as a normal pregnancy so he wanted to come up with a birth plan. dean purchased new burner phones for each person that were never to be silenced or turned off and the only people who had the numbers were the seven of you. the second you went into labor, someone near you (or you, if you could) would call castiel immediately. if possible they would also notify the others.
another couple months or so went by. you were due any day now - but you had been due any day for over two weeks. you had gotten somewhat used to the pain and rowena had come up with a simple spell with some herbs that you’d mix with your tea every couple hours to help with the pain. garth had moved into the bunker temporarily - he was a trained doula after having to deliver werewolf pups. rowena moved in temporarily too, but that was more for moral support and pain management.
“cas you haven’t left the bunker in over a month! go on this hunt,” you assured him. it was a hunt close by and he was going to take jack with him.
“promise you won’t go into labor til i get back?”
“i won’t let these kiddos leave,” you smile, patting your stomach playfully. he gave you a peck on the lips before leaving with jack.
a couple hours in, you began getting long, sharp pains every few minutes. rowena was the one who recognized the pains as contractions.
“you’re going into labor, we need to get you to the birth room.” she took your your hand gently but you whipped it away.
“no, no i promised cas i’d wait for him,” you shook your head. “the babies are just gonna have to stay put for a whi- ah!” you scrunched your face in pain, holding your stomach.
“okay, we’ll get cas on the phone, we can pray for jack - they’ll be here before you know it,” she tried to reason with you and motioned you to follow her. you shook your head vigorously and didn’t move your feet, absolutely terrified of what was about to happen.
“holy shit,” your eyes widened, cloudy with tears. “my water- i think my water just broke!” you both looked down. “that’s- that’s broken water!”
“exactly hun, you’re going into labor you need to let me help you to the birth room, okay?”
“oh- okay,” you nodded and she helped you to the room. she called out that you were going into labor as she walked you over.
about a month ago the brothers and jack came home to the bunker with a hospital bed from the maternity ward. you didn’t ask how they got it, but you were grateful they did. everyone helped set up the room; towels, blankets, a mini freezer for ice chips, and just about anything you might need while in labor and giving birth.
sam and dean carefully helped you onto the bed. mary called cas and within seconds he and jack were in the room.
“cas!” you smiled, relieved to see him.
“hey, y/n, how are you?” he asked, rushing to your side and tightly holding your hand.
“i’m in pain, cas, i’m about to push three celestial beings out my vagina!” you said dryly.
“right, right, okay it’ll be okay, though,” he kissed your forehead. “you’re gonna be okay. jack’s here and he will keep you alive and well.”
“okay,” you whispered.
“time to start pushing, y/n,” garth announced.
within the hour you had pushed all three babies out. three identical baby boys; with cas’ piercing blue eyes and your winning smile. you were absolutely exhausted, but you were alive. you were holding one baby, cas was holding another, and garth was holding the third.
“so, what’re we naming the little guys?” cas asked, a huge smile on his face and his eyes not moving away from his new baby boy.
“this one’s sam,” you smiled down at the tiny being in your arms. “he’s the biggest.”
“then that makes this little guy dean, he’s a smallest,” cas laughed a little in response. dean would’ve been annoyed at the height joke but he was so honored you were naming a kid after him.
“what about this little guy?” garth asked.
“bobby,” you smiled.
no one went on any hunts for almost two weeks. they all stayed and helped with the babies. baby dean would be named dean jack y/l/n, baby sam would be named samuel charles y/l/n, and baby bobby would be named robert garth y/l/n.
You hummed slightly to yourself as you moved around the kitchen, trying to find all of the things you needed. The mixing bowl you wanted was hard to reach, behind a million things in the cupboard. You tried crouching but it was too uncomfortable, so ended up sitting on the floor, surrounded by the contents of the cupboard.
Once you had the bowl finally in your hands, you looked around at the chaos of the floor. Your enthusiasm for getting it all back in the cupboard was gone, so you just pushed them to the side a bit. That was later you’s problem.
Next was the ingredients.
You just had to get up off the floor. God, this whole endeavour was becoming harder and harder and you hadn’t even started actually cooking yet.
Eyes on the prize, you reminded yourself. Eyes on the prize.
Ok, you were up. You wanted a nap, maybe even a nice snuggle with your Alpha. But no, no time for that now.
Right, ingredients.
God, who designed this kitchen?
Why is the flour up there?!
There was no way you could reach. You looked around for some way to get it down. Aha, one of the chairs! With a lot of effort you managed to drag the chair over, pushing the cupboard contents out of the way. You paused for a rest.
Ok, back to the flour. You were just going to kneel on the chair, that would be safe enough. You knelt on it and reached up, holding on to the back of the chair for balance. But you still couldn’t reach it!
Screw this. You’d be fine standing on the chair briefly. It was the only way.
This bit was rather awkward. You got off the chair and then struggled to get your leg up on to it. Ok, it’s there. Short rest break. Right, back on task. You hadn’t even started baking yet and you’d been in the kitchen for at least 15 minutes.
Ok, one hand on the back of the chair, one hand on the bench. Push off from the bottom leg, try not to wobble the top leg on the padding of the chair seat too much.
Whoa, whoa!! You felt yourself starting to sway, the cushioning hard to maintain your balance on. You grabbed at the cupboards to stablise yourself.
Suddenly, you heard hurried footsteps and then felt hands on your hips, holding you steady. “What are you doing, Y/N?” Sam’s voice demanded, sounding worried.
“Trying to get the flour?”
“Why didn’t you ask for help?” he admonished gently. He leaned your body back on to his chest and shoulder, and pulled you off the chair. He stood you up on the ground. “That was far too dangerous, Y/N.”
You huffed at him.
He chuckled, “Keep up the attitude, Omega. I’d like to see you try it on Dean if he’d been the one to find you doing that.”
“Find her doing what?” Dean said as he walked in, right at that moment. “What happened in here?” he exclaimed as he looked around.
You looked at the ground, too embarrassed to look Dean in the eyes. He walked over to you and nudged your chin up to look at him. “What’s going on, Omega?”
You looked into your Alpha’s eyes. Sam was an Alpha in the Pack too, so you sort of listened to him, but your mate was Dean. The one who would be very upset at your risky behaviour.
“The bowl I wanted was at the back of the cupboard, but then I didn’t have the energy to put all of the things back… Sorry about the mess, Alpha.”
“And what did Sam find you doing?” he asked in his deep, gravelly voice.
“Um, I couldn’t reach the flour, so I got a chair.”
“And?”
“Well, at first I was kneeling on it but I still couldn’t reach, so I stood up on it.”
“And was swaying wildly and likely to fall off at any second when I walked in,” Sam cut in.
Dean’s hands came to rub your beach ball-shaped tummy, round with his pup growing inside. “Y/N,” he said with concern and something a bit deeper in his voice, “You know you can’t do these things anymore.”
“I know,” you said sadly. “I was just thinking about what I wanted to get. I didn’t think I would fall.”
Dean reached up to cup your face. “Your centre of gravity is totally off, your joints are stretchy, and everything takes ten times as much effort. Sweetheart, some flour isn’t worth risking getting hurt.”
“I know, I’m sorry.” He pulled you into a hug, kissing your forehead. “I just wanted to cook a Christmas pudding! It won’t be Christmas without one.”
“Christmas isn’t for two weeks, why didn’t you wait until someone could help you?”
“Dean, we’re already significantly late! This should’ve been done like a month ago! Haven’t you noticed I’ve been soaking the fruit for weeks?”
“Did I notice that you’d diluted perfectly good brandy with a bunch of sultanas? Yes, yes I did.”
You laughed. “Well, the pudding needs to be cooked so it can get better by Christmas.”
“Are you even going to be able to eat this? Won’t it be full of alcohol?”
“Dean, most of it cooks off and the rest isn't enough to worry about. You can stand between me and Christmas pudding over my cold, dead body.”
He laughed. “Ok, sweetheart. Now, how about you sit on a chair and tell Sam and I what you want us to do? We will be your sous chefs.”
Dean has been tense distracted and distant lately and you know he's keeping something big from you he always did when things were really dangerous but this time something was different but you had been keeping something from him too something you couldn't hide any longer
You had been waiting for things to get better lighter happier but you were just going to have to tell him
You made his favorite dinner and pie stocked his favorite beer and had been practicing in your mind how to tell him you were pregnant
Dean wasn't as happy with the meal and dessert as you thought he would be. He tried to put on a happy face but he barley ate and your nerves caused you to tip toe around the subject
Suddenly Dean got serious he began to start an argument with you and you argued back as the argument heated up you finally decided youd had enough and started to say you were pregnant
i know why your upset dean you're just scared and want to protect me but i have to tell you im.. but he kept yelling and then he said or yelled the unthinkable I don't want to marry you! I don't want to have children with you! there is no future for us it's over!
He was holding back tears but you couldn't see them through your own tears you were devastated you heart was instantly crushed he could see the hurt all over your face and started to apologize but you turned on your heal and left the bunker running to your car you didn't know if he was following you your broken heart was pounding in chest. You peeled out and didn't stop until you were far enough away then you pulled over and cried yourself to sleep
Dean didn't follow you quickly not realizing you intended on leaving
When you woke you felt raw but knew what you had to do You had to get a new identity, a background and a career if you were going to raise a child alone and you had to ditch your phone and all of your old aliases and contacts.
Dean hoped you would come back to get your things and that He could apologize and separate on friendlier terms he didn't know you were pregnant he only wanted to protect you and if things went well when it was all over he'd do anything to make it up to you
But you didn't return. he and Sammy called everyone trying to find you even tried tracking your phone but you'd vanished..
Your new identity was yfn Thompson you were an accountant for a big law firm and you found a great home. ou used stolen credit cards at first but stopped as soon as you had honest money coming in
You were bewildered when the ultrasound tech told you it was twins..
Dean searched for you but no sign of harm natural or supernatural ever popped up and Sammy helped him see you didn't want to be found.
It was only when something supernatural happened close to your new life that brought Dean back to you.
You decided not to take maturnity leave during your pregnancy because you'd need every penny you could get, it was hard but surprisingly were seemed to be cut out for it and made the best of it (by sheer will and everytime your heart ached for Dean you put him out of your mind and focused on feeling good and being healthy for your babies)
Whenbyou arrived at work onebmorning to discover one of o your coworkers had been murdered in the office you became anxious but with you pregnancy being in the final term you were too preoccupied to consider it was anything supernatural you were busy preparing your hospital bag meal prepping cleaning and other typical nesting duties and you felt a little relief that you never had to work late the building was always busy during your working hours
Dean and Sammy thought they were just investigating another possible supernatural killing when they spotted you very pregnant and ready to pop
You seemed happy and doing well
But Dean had know if his girl or his ex girl was carrying his child
He thought back on that night what he said to you and knew deep down the truth
But he had to talk to you with the past danger he had tried to protect you from over he couldn't just let you go again
I kind of imagine him walking upto her with bit surprised eyes like he's happy but cant believe shes there and obviously pregnant and she is shocked to see him.
hed start asking her what shes doing there and says something funny but maybe stupid about her being pregnant and she is just angry and hurt the pain of their breakup surfacing and the pain of going through pregnancy alone
She'd go into labor or maybe false labor and there would be a cheesy fluffy make up scene in the hospital and dean and Sammy would be there were the twins were born
If anyone reads this I hope you like it if you want to use it as is or change it let me know you did and feel free to.
In Another Life
Pairing: Dean Winchester x f!reader, Dean POV
Summary: When Dean wakes up in another life with you, he begins to question your friendship and realizes that he has loved you all along. But how can he change that? (I’m so bad at summaries please forgive me!)
Tropes: Angst, Fluff, Pregnancy Fluff, Mutual Pining
Word Count: 5.5K (I have an addiction don't judge me)
Warnings: I don’t think there’s any. I’ll say mention of gore, but for one second. Maybe one allusion to sex, but not really.  Some swearing (once or twice). Dean might be a little bit OOC.
Note: This is told from Dean’s perspective. Any references to the reader is made using you or your. There is minimal use of y/n. This is my first time writing for Supernatural, so please be gentle. If you don’t like, don’t read, but if you do like, you’re my favorite!
*********************************************
Dean couldn’t remember what happened last night only that the bed beneath him felt like an old friend welcoming him home. The night before ghosted across his mind, hovering just out of reach, memories of a dream barely forming from a fog of uncertainty. He fades in and out of sleep in a mist that soothes his aching body.
“Dean?” A soft voice whispers.
Dean groans and squeezes his pillow tighter against his chest to avoid waking up. He didn’t care what time it was, all he knew was that he didn’t want to get out of bed.
“Leave me alone Sammy.” He grumbles into the pillow.
“Dean.” The voice says again, this time with a happy laugh that sounds nothing like Sam.
His eyes open,  blinded by the sunlight that streams through the large windows on the other side of the bedroom.
Wait. Where am I?
“Dean we have to get up or we’ll be late for the party.”
Dean looks towards the voice and  realizes that he’s not squeezing a pillow, it’s you. You’re facing him, hair fanning out over the pillow beneath your head, eyes wide and crinkled around the edges, smiling at him.
“Y/n?” Dean says it hesitantly, arms tightening around your waist.
“No no no. Don’t look at me like that. I will not be roped into staying in bed. We can’t be late for your mom’s birthday party and you promised you would come with me to pick up the cake.”
“But-“ Dean couldn’t remember how he got here, only that something feels wrong.
“No buts.” You giggle, before leaning forward and kissing him.
Dean freezes, confused, but the soft movement of your mouth against his erases any uncertainty. He eases his face forward nudging his nose into yours to deepen the kiss. Dean doesn’t know how he got here, but all he knows is how natural it feels to be here with you. Before he can stop himself he rolls you over your back, bringing a moan from you that vibrates though his skull. His fingertips blaze a trail along your hips.
“Easy there tiger.” You smile up at him. “You don’t want to crush Zeppelin.”
Dean’s confusion makes you laugh, before he finally looks down between you. “You’re pregnant.” He whispers, noting the protrusion of your abdomen.
“I mean I think so.” You laugh in a way that makes his heart jump and buckle.
Dean lays his hand down on the smooth skin where your shirt pushes up. Why can’t I remember this? He thinks to himself confused, searching for memories he can’t recall.
“I believe we’ve talked about it several times. And it was you who decided to stay up until 4 am painting the nursery.” Your hands gently brush his hair back out of his face. “You did such a good job baby.”
Dean reaches for the memory, but he can’t seem to
 grasp it. “I did?”
“Mhmm. Look at you, you’re still covered in paint.” You smile wider picking up the hand that rests on your belly to show him the splashes of cream colored paint flecked along the back of his hand. And as you do he notices the ring on your left hand.
“Are we married?” Dean tries again to grasp for his memory but comes up empty handed. He strokes his thumb along the back of yours examining the ring.
I should remember that. How could I forget that we’re married?
“Feigning amnesia will not make me stay in bed with you. No matter how cute you are.”  You gently lay your hand against his chest pushing him back so you can sit up in bed.
Dean can’t help but notice how beautiful and carefree you look. Hair catching fire in the light from the window, t-shirt brushing against the top of your thighs, and how you smile at him with so much love it makes something catch in his chest.
“Dean?” You suddenly look worried. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah.” He clears his throat. “I’m just tired I guess.”
His cell phone rings where it sits on the nightstand, drawing his gaze to the alarm clock and car magazine that sit on top of the dark wood.
“You better answer that. It’s probably Sam asking us where we are.” You kiss him on the cheek, before standing up and walking into the closet on the edge of the bedroom.
Dean watches you go, his eyes tracing your familiar figure as you leave the room, before reaching for his phone.
“Hey where are you guys? Jessica’s freaking out because you haven’t brought the cake.” Sam’s  voice triggers another memory for Dean, but this one remains allusive.
“Sam?”
“Dean.”
“Um.”
“Dean are you hungover or something?”
“No. Sorry, just running a little late-“ Dean apologizes looking around the bedroom. It’s small, filled with light from the open window that shows a quaint backyard. The dresser on the wall opposite the bed has photos of him and you, photos of Sam and Jessica, and a photo of Mary and John Winchester. Dean’s eyes stop on the photo as a memory triggers at the back of his mind, but Sam interrupts the thought.
“Well come on. Dad’s not going to like it if you guys miss mom’s birthday-“
“Dad?” Deans memory spikes again and he sees his father sitting in the drivers seat humming along to a song on the radio. Another memory flashes, Dean and his father standing behind the impala with Sam looking into the trunk.
“Yes dad. Your boss. Our father. Dean are you okay? Y/n said that you were painting the nursery last night all by yourself. You could have told me. I would have come over to help-“
“I’m alright Sammy.”
But he doesn’t feel alright, something is definitely wrong.
“Okay well hurry up. I’ll see you when you get here.”
Dean hangs up the phone and sits on the end of the bed with it in his hand.
You walk back into the room wearing a green sundress. Your hair is soft again, falling over your shoulders in a way that makes Dean’s breath catch, effortlessly beautiful.
A memory of you wearing jeans and a leather jacket washes across his mind of you standing with him at the back of the Impala reaching in for a shotgun while he knocks your hand away.
“Dean?” You walk towards him, this time standing between his legs. You place your hands on his shoulders and he can’t help but turn to look at the wedding ring. “Are you sure you’re okay? Because if you’re not feeling well we don’t have to go today. I can call your dad. But I just thought your really wanted to go. You hate missing your mother’s birthday. It’s usually you that drags me out of bed.” You trail your hand against the side of his face with a worried expression, to turn his gaze back on you.
Someone deep in the back of his mind the expression triggers something and he sees a memory of you. Except you’re holding a machete in your right hand that drips blood on the floor but, the look of worry in your eyes the same.
Where could that be from?
“I don’t know.”
“Hey.” You whisper, sitting down in his lap and his arms can’t help but secure you there, burying his head in your shoulder like it’s the most natural thing in the world. “I’m scared too.”
“What?” Dean raises his head from your shoulder
“We’ve talked about this. You’re going to be a great dad. And honestly we probably won’t know what we’re doing, but that’s how everyone starts.” Your fingertips drag through his hair in a soothing motion.
Dean tries again to grasp at earlier memories of this life, early memories of you, but all he sees are motel rooms. Motel rooms where you sleep on a pullout couch in a corner and where Sam sits  at a small table shuffling through endless books and papers.
Why?
Dean can’t understand, because that life seems so different than this one. This one where you look softer and happier, where you share a bed and are married. He thinks about the other memories, where your smile is not as bright, where there’s a hardness to your face, but still just as beautiful. Another memory of him and you sitting in a bar drinking beer, another of you laughing at something he said and hitting him, and finally one of you reading in bed while Dean sits at a motel table and watches you softly turn the pages.
Deep down Dean knows in his bones that in those memories  you and him are just friends, but he allows himself to indulge in your touch, enjoying the comfort that comes with being with you.
“It’s not about the baby.” Dean sighs. “I just can’t remember how we got here.”
“Here?”
“Married.” His arms tighten around your waist not wanting to let go. You’re the only thing he recognizes in all of this.
“Um well, my car broke down and I brought it to a mechanic shop where I met a devilishly handsome man with green eyes.” You smile at him. “Who refused to let me leave until he bought me dinner.”
Dean stares at you.
“Practically kidnapped me. But you were so charming I couldn’t resist.” You lean closer to whisper in his ear. “Not to mention sexy covered in grease and wearing a meatloaf t-shirt.” You kiss him before he can respond, and he loses himself in you. The way you hold him close, the way your fingers work up into his hair to secure him right where he wants to be, and the way you feel in his arms wipes away any uncertainty. “As much as I’d like to go back to bed with you, we’re going to be late.” You whisper against his lips.
And Dean allows himself to be dragged away.
“Did you remember to order the parts for that ‘76 Camaro right?” John Winchester asks Dean, but Dean’s not focused, he can’t focus on anything.
The drive over to his parents house was different. Instead of sitting on the opposite side of the front seat of the impala, you had sat in the middle, holding his hand and leaning against his shoulder, humming softly.
It made driving for Dean especially difficult. The memories of you in his car that came across his mind while he drove distracted him.
You  in the backseat shouting something at Dean while he completely ignored you rolling his eyes, you sitting in the front seat with a map trying to direct him while Sam slept in the back, you singing to “The Eye of the Tiger” with him while Sam tried to close his ears, and finally you asleep in the front seat with Dean’s jacket draped over you.  That last one stayed in his mind. He liked how you looked wrapped up in his jacket, breath fogging the glass window, while Dean tried his best to drive smooth and slow so you wouldn't wake.
But you in the front seat holding his hand and leaning against his shoulder while humming along to the music blew all of those memories out of the water. All Dean wanted to do was exist there and then.
When you both arrived at his parents home Dean tried not to be disappointed. Now he was too distracted watching you talk and laugh with Jessica and his mother across the room to listen to anything his father said.
“Dean are you listening?” His dad tries again.
“Huh?” The cold beer in Dean’s hand drips condensation against his skin. He turns to look back at his father.
Another memory of him momentarily distracts Dean, this one of John leaving Dean and Sam in a motel room so he can go hunting.
Did we ever go hunting? Dean tries to think of a time where they went out into the woods to shoot some deer, but comes up empty handed. A few memories of him and Sam toting guns rise to the surface, but he can't remember why they had them.
"You'll have to excuse Dean, he's still mentally painting the nursery." Sam snorts into his beer.
"Shut up."
"Don't tease him Sam. I'm sure that Jessica will have you turn your office into a nursery before you know it." You appear on Dean's left, raising his arm around you so you can lean into his side. Dean automatically tightens his arm around your shoulders.
"Don't joke about that y/n."
"Uh-huh. You can't hide in that big fancy law firm forever. She'll find you." You smile up at Dean in a way that makes his heart feel like its stopped beating.
Why can't I remember any of this life?
"She's right." Jessica comes over to kiss Sam on the cheek.
"I do not hide at the firm-" Sam rolls his eyes.
"You do."
Mary Winchester comes over. "Are you fighting at my birthday party?"
Dean's father puts his arm around his mother, pulling her into his chest with a smile he hides by taking a swig of beer.
"No mom, we're not-"
"Sounded like a fight to me." You whisper to Dean, and he can't help but smile at you.
"It's not a fight y/n!"
"Don't yell at my wife Sammy." Dean says before he can stop himself. He thinks about how natural it sounded coming out of his mouth.
His wife. You're his wife. He thinks and presses a kiss to the top of your head that makes you sigh into his chest.
"I'm not yelling at y/n."
"Sam we're just teasing you." Jessica laughs, placing her hand against his chest. Dean notices the ring on her own finger, and a memory of Jessica rises in the back of his head. Jessica standing in the darkness of an apartment, while Dean holds on to the front of Sam's shirt, her eyes wide and confused.
But it vanishes when you wince in his arms. Dean's eyes are drawn back down to you, worry spiking in his chest.
"I'm okay." You whisper. "Just think Zeppelin is hitting his limit."
"You guys go on home. I think that John has grilled Dean about the garage enough." Mary smiles, before taking a step forward to hug you. Dean is disappointed when you leave his arms, but smiles despite, watching you with his mother.
"Let the little linebacker get some rest." John hugs you.
"Of course. Thank you so much for letting us come. I'm sorry we were late." Dean watches the subtle blush of your cheeks as you apologize.
"I'm sure it's my son's fault." Mary moves to hug Dean.
As soon as she does Dean is overwhelmed by a surge of sadness as another memory of his mother rises in the back of his mind that he can't quite bring into focus.
"Mom?" Dean whispers.
"Hmm?" She looks up at him confused. "We'll see you on Tuesday for dinner. Okay?"
"Okay."
"We love you."
"I love you too mom." But something sticks in his chest when he says it.
“Don’t forget to order the parts.” John says shaking Dean’s hand.
“Sure.”
“Bye Jessica. Let me know if you need us to bring anything for Tuesday.” Dean watches you hug her and just for a moment Dean sees Sam holding a bouquet of flowers at a gravesite.
What is happening?
*********************************************
When Dean pulls the Impala into the driveway of your home something still feels wrong. After saying goodbye to everyone he still can’t shake the feeling that he forgot something. The radio plays "Black Dog" filling the silence as the car idles in front of the house.
“Dean!”
“What?” He turns to look at where you sit beside him in the front seat.
“Feel.” You grab one of his hands from the wheel and place it against your abdomen an excited smile gracing your cheeks. “Little future drummer."
The kicking against the palm of his hand makes Dean smile, leaning forward into where you sit beside him. Happiness breaks in his chest like the crest of a wave. He can't remember a moment in his life where he felt this happy, this much love for someone.
"Y/n?"
"Mhmm."
"I love you." Dean refuses to believe that he has said it to anyone else ever in his life, can't remember wanting to say it to anyone else, can't believe that he will ever want to say it to anyone else.
"I love you too."
He leans down to kiss you, hand still against your stomach, drawing you further into him to breathe you in. Everything else vanishes, just the feel of your soft lips against his, the tickle of your hair against his cheeks, and the pulse of his son's kicks against the palm of his hand.
But then it's all gone.
*********************************************
"Dean!" Sam's voice jars him into reality, his eyes opening to see his brother standing over him, one hand on his shoulder. "Dean are you okay?"
"What happened?" Dean sits up with a groan, ignoring the headache that throbs behind his eyes.
His eyes adjust to the dim light. He's in a long room where wooden tables sit every few feet covered in dust and machinery blanketed with old sheets. The musty smell fills his nose, replacing the smell of your shampoo that lingers under his nose from when you were in the front seat with him.
"Djinn ambushed you. Y/n and I got here as soon as we could."
"Y/n?" The memories of the dream strike him in the chest all over again, merging with memories of reality. "Where is Y/n?"
You enter the room out of breath, blood flecked across your cheeks and holding a baseball bat that drips a dark liquid onto the concrete floor. “It’s dead.”
"You sure?" Sam asks raising an eyebrow.
"There's enough brain matter on the floor in there for a zombie buffet." You shoulder the baseball bat. "So yeah, it's dead."
Dean’s eyes trace your body taking in the leather jacket and dark t-shirt his memory flashing to the green sundress and beautiful smile. You’re half-smiling, but Dean can see the hardness in your face again and understands where it comes from.
She wasn’t a hunter. He thinks of the dream version of you, where your hair fell in soft curls, but now it’s tied back in a ponytail. His eyes drop to your abdomen expecting more, but disappointment flicks in his heart. It wasn’t real.
“Dean are you okay?” You step closer to him. The smile has dropped now, replaced with a worried expression.
He flashes back to when you asked him that in the dream, when you sat on his lap and tangled your hands in his hair, sighing into his mouth as he kissed you.
“Yeah.”
“You sure?”
He traces your face again but every time he does he only sees the other version of you, the version that’s in love with him, married to him. And he knows that here you are just his friend.
“Yeah.” He says again standing up. “Let’s get out of here.”
The ride back to the motel is silent. Dean doesn’t put on any music, too afraid that it’ll remind him of the memory of you and him in the front seat while his son kicked against his hand. Instead, all he can think of was how happy he was in the other life, how in love with you he was-
Dean knew that it wasn’t just a fantasy, that he really is in love with you, but now after seeing how everything could be, it weighed on his chest. Each time you looked at him he wanted to pull you close to him, hug you, kiss you, but he knew you would pull away. Because this version of you was not his.
“I’m going to go to that diner on the corner. You guys want something?” Sam looks around the room expectantly, but Dean doesn’t look up from the carpet.
“Sure.” Dean hears you respond. “Maybe just a burger and a piece of pie. Preferably apple but I'll take cherry if they have it."
“Okay. Dean?” Sam asks again.
Dean shakes his head. He can’t eat. Not now.
Sam hesitates at the door worried. “Are you sure?”
“I don’t want anything.” Dean snaps.
“Yeesh don’t bite my head off.” Sam throws you a shrug before leaving.
Dean is aware that it’s just the two of you now, the memory of the two of you in bed surfaces making him tighten his grip on the edge of the blanket beneath him.
“Dean?” You whisper.
“What?” His voice comes out harsher than he means it to.
“What’s wrong? You can tell me.”
“Nothing is wrong.” But he can’t look at you, not when he knows he'll look up and you won't be pregnant and not when the other version of you still has a hold of his heart.
“Dean you’re my best friend I know when something’s wrong. Plus you haven’t been able to look at me since you woke up and you never say no to food.”
“I’m fine.”
“Dean-“
“Just leave me alone damnit!” He snaps at you, able to raise his gaze from the floor for one second. Dean immediately feels bad, watching the pain in your eyes as he pushes you away. But he lowers his eyes to the carpet once more to avoid your gaze.
You sigh, but don’t get angry with him. “If you don’t want to tell me that’s fine. I'll just leave you alone then.”
And as soon as you leave to take a shower he feels the loss of you beside him.
He listens to the sound of the shower, feels the passing of time, but he does not move. The memories of the dream rise and fall, replacing the darkness of the hotel room with brilliant light. The memory of the sun catching your hair on fire as you laid next to him in bed tracing your fingertips along his jaw, the memory of you in the front seat of the Impala leaning against him and humming while you hold his hand, the memory of the party where he wrapped his arm around your shoulders and pulled you tightly into his chest, and finally the memory of the last kiss you shared in the front seat of the Impala each dance across his mind. He acutely feels the loss of your body against his, the loss of your lips, and finally the sound of your voice telling him you love him while his son kicked against his hand.
“Dean?”
He looks up at you. You look softer than you did. The blood is gone from your cheeks, your hair falls over your shoulders still wet from the shower, effortlessly beautiful, he decides. You’re wearing one of his old t-shirts that he gave you and a pair of sweatpants. It does something to him, watching you stand there in his shirt. It hangs past your waist like a dress, making you look smaller than you are. The smell of your shampoo wafts out of the bathroom, something familiar that makes his throat tight.
“You know when that Djinn got me a few months ago it threw me for a loop too.” You say softly leaning against the doorway of the bathroom. “Everything felt so real. It was hard to tell what was real and what wasn’t.”
Dean remembers when that happened. When you vanished out of the blue while checking out a case alone and he and Sam tore apart the small town looking for you. Dean remembers how worried he was, how desperate he was to find you.
I loved her then too. Dean realizes looking at you. How did I not know?
Dean remembers the aftermath, when you woke up and wouldn’t look at him. How your gaze was almost haunted and how he had to carry you out of there because you couldn’t move. He remembers you laying in bed and turning away from him and Sam when they had asked you what was wrong and the following day when you acted like nothing happened.
“What did it make you see?” Dean whispers, noting the way you shift back and forth on your feet. He hadn't seen you nervous before, seen you face down demons and vampires without batting an eye, but now you looked vulnerable.
You look down at your feet.  “If I say it you can’t laugh.”
“I won’t.”
“Dean, I’m serious.”
“I promise I won’t laugh.” He watches the tension in your shoulders.
Why would she be afraid to tell me? We talk about everything.
“It was us.”
“What?” Shock tugs at his heart and for a second he thinks that he heard you wrong.
“It was us. We were married. We had 2 kids. My brother was still alive and my parents were talking to me again. I was happy there. It was hard to come back. Not that I’m not happy, but just that it’s hard to think you’ve lived a life that doesn’t exist. Especially one so different than all of this.” Dean watches you take in a deep breath, tapping your finger against your bicep, avoiding his eyes. “That was when I realized I was in love with you.”
Dean’s heart stops beating. “What did you just say-“
You look up and smile tightly. “It’s when I realized I was in love with you. That’s why I was so messed up. I didn't know how to-“
Sam chooses that exact moment to walk in loaded with bags of food. “What did I miss?”
“Nothing much.” Dean watches you easily shift your expression to hide what just happened, smiling at Sam as if you hadn’t said the one thing that Dean had been trying to say to you since he woke up. “Just trying to convince Dean to let me work on Baby. I think I’m wearing him down.”
Dean had never realized how much of a good liar you were until this moment, sure he had seen you pretend to be a government agent, but this was different.
“Like that’ll happen.” Sam hands you a bag of food before turning to look at Dean. “You okay?”
“Yeah.” Dean watches you pull out the burger, stunned by your confession.
You place the burger next to him on the bed. “Eat this. It’ll help.”
“But-“ He looks up at you, wanting to finish the conversation.
“I promise I’m not that hungry Dean. I’d rather have the pie. Unless you’re going to fight me for it?” You smile raising an eyebrow.
Dean doesn’t understand why you’re acting like you didn’t just say you were in love with him. He gazes at you, searching your face. For a second he sees the mask slip, but before he can comment it’s gone.
“No I won’t.” He whispers.
“Good.” You turn to the made-up pull out couch and fold your legs underneath you with the slice of pie balanced on your knee, before reaching into your bag for a worn paper back.
Dean sits there watching you turn the pages. She loves me. The memory of you in his dream in the front seat of the Impala whispering it to him doesn’t hold the same weight because now all he can hear is you saying it here, now.
Dean can’t move. He wished Sam would leave again. He wished Sam would leave so he could bring you into his chest and kiss you, so he could tell you the one thing he wished he said ages ago.
But he doesn't. All he does is sit there and watch you read.
*********************************************
A few hours after Sam and you have fallen asleep Dean lays in his bed and stares up at the ceiling. He can hear your soft breaths against the pillow, the crinkle of the sheets as you move in your sleep. Usually he allowed himself to fall asleep listening to you, but tonight all it did was keep him awake. Each time he shut his eyes he saw the memory of you in bed with him burning against his eyelids and each time he shut his eyes he heard the real you telling him that you loved him.
Finally, he can't take it anymore.
Dean gets up and makes his way over to the pull-out couch, pausing once to move the paperback book out from under your head. It wasn't the first time that you'd fallen asleep reading, and Dean thought it was cute.
He slides into the bed behind you, gently touching your shoulder to wake you as quietly as possible.
"Hmm." You inhale softly.
"Y/n." Dean whispers.
He watches you turn towards him, eyes blinking in the darkness to rouse yourself from sleep. You hair is flared out over the pillows, eyes hazy. “Dean what are you-“
Dean moves his arm to your waist before pulling you flush into his chest, lips finding yours. The memories of the kiss in his dream are everywhere, but none of them compare to this. You sigh into his mouth, bringing your hands into his hair. Dean breathes you in. You still taste like apple pie, body soft against his, lips smooth and welcoming.
“I love you too.” He whispers against your mouth, eyes finding yours in the darkness of the hotel room.
Your smile breaks him. “It made you see us didn’t it?”
“How did you know?”
“The way you looked when you came out. The way you looked at me. I think it’s the same way I looked at you when I woke up." You brush back his hair and Dean can't help but lean forward into your touch. "What did it make you see?"
“We were married. You were pregnant and I was working at a garage. My parents were alive. Jessica was alive-“
“Oh Dean.” You cup his cheeks with a sorrowful expression, before brushing your lips against his. “I’m sorry.”
“It doesn’t matter now.” Dean brings you into his chest, laying on his back so you can rest your head on his heart. His hand slowly traces up and down your spine. You both lie there for a few moments. The subtle beat of your heart soothing the sadness that rises with the memory of his mother and father. Your hand gently rests against his shirt, fingers curling into the soft fabric.
“I missed you.” He hears you whisper into his chest.
“What?” Dean doesn't understand. "Where did I go?"
“Not like that. I know that it sounds stupid, but we were so happy in the dream. It made me miss you, miss this.” He feels you rub your face into the front of his shirt.
“Why didn’t you say anything?”
“Dean you’re my best friend. I didn’t want to lose any of this.” You prop yourself up look him in the eye. “I’m happy here with you and Sam. Y’all are my family and I didn’t want to jeopardize that just because I’m in love with you.”
“Did you think I would have made you leave if you told me that?” Dean can’t help but feel hurt. Sure it would have been awkward for a little bit, but I’d never do that to y/n.
“Not made me leave, more phase me out. It would have made all of this awkward and-“ He watches the weight settle on your shoulders as you press your forehead into the space between his collar bone and neck. “I’ve lost so many things. I didn’t want to lose you.”
Dean squeezes you to him. “You’re not going to lose me sweetheart.” He traces a fingertip under your chin to raise your face to his. “I love you. And even if I didn’t, you’re my family too. I wouldn’t make you leave just because it was a little awkward. We’ve all been through too much together for that.” Dean’s thumb rubs soft circles against your cheek.
“I love you too.” You whisper, the soft smile gracing your lips  mirrors the memory from the dream, but this time it fills him with warmth and comfort, because this time he knows it’s real.  It's not some Djinn messing with his head, it's you. You lean upwards to kiss him gently, while Dean weaves his hand through you hair to secure you to him.
But then you pull away, your smile slipping into a smirk. “So when you say family, are you saying you see me as a sister or a cousin? Because, I don’t know how things are in Kansas, but where I'm from, that's kind of a red flag.“
Dean sighs loudly. Before he rolls you over and pins you to the bed, pressing his lips against yours in a searing kiss.
“Oh. So as a sister-“ You joke.
“You are one of the most annoying people on the planet.”
“I know. It’s why you love me.” You trace his lips with your index finger, gazing up at him the same way the dream version of you did.
Dean feels warmth trail behind your touch. “One of the reasons at least.”
But just as he leans to kiss you again-
“If you guys don’t shut up I’m not going to get any sleep.” Sam grumbles from his bed. “I could have told you two idiots, that you loved one another and it would have taken five seconds.”
“You don’t have to eavesdrop-“ You say glaring over in the direction of Sam’s bed.
“Kinda hard not to when you guys are making out. LOUDLY. I might add.”
“Gonna have to get used to it Sammy.” Dean snorts, before pushing your hair back behind your ear and drawing your gaze back to his face.
“Next time you guys are getting your own room.” Sam continues. “That way I can get some sleep.”
“Doesn’t seem very economical.” You say, but you’re gazing up at Dean again with the smile that makes him feel like he’d swallowed the sun. “I love you.” Your voice is barely a whisper.
“I love you too.” Dean leans down once more to capture your lips against his, erasing all semblance of everything else, except the feel of your body beneath him and the warmth that surges with each breath as the dream of you becomes a reality.
She was staring at the screen of her laptop, every link was now purple instead of blue from having explored them all on her journey to research all there was to know about the Egyptian goddess Taweret. Still, she found nothing on how to weaken, stop, or kill the hippo. Taweret’s distorted usage of her abilities was getting too out of hand.
Too many pregnant people. Too many old people getting young again. Especially couples. For now, at least, that’s all that’s happened.
Typically Sam, Dean, and Y/N dealt with the killing, the death, and the blood, but Donna managed to pick this up on her own and called the brothers for backup because it was starting to get way too ridiculous—terrifying, really. Reapers were overwhelmed and while the Winchesters and Y/N didn’t really care about how they were feeling, it was a major problem—when speaking about the universal rules: what is, what should be, what was, what should never be, etcetera.
Unfortunately, the research has led to no real or useful information for how to stop the Goddess, not even how to kill her. And once Dean started to hum Travelling Riverside Blues while shaking his leg impatiently in the fourth hour, she couldn’t focus on anything else anymore.
Now that same song was stuck in her head and she glared at her laptop while trying to get a different song to replace Led Zeppelin’s in her mind. It wasn’t a bad song, but it got irritating, and every song somehow morphed right back to Travelling Riverside Blues. Her and Dean had been so good about focusing on the research, but sometimes one of them always made it impossible for the other to maintain that amount of silence and focus around each other.
It usually started with some small conversations: How’s the research going? Have you found anything yet? Hey, remember when…? Are you hungry? I’m kinda hungry. Aren’t you tired? And so on.
Then there were glances. From a distance, they’d stare at each other when the other isn’t looking, wondering if enough time has passed to not feel guilty for wanting to take a break. They’d smile to themselves, catching cute little habits in body language or facial expressions.
Sometimes—most of the time—there was some sexualisation. If she’s wearing a skirt or a dress, he’d stare at the curve of her legs in some really sexy heels. He’d wish to have them wrapped around his waist as he fucks her or thrown over his shoulders with his face buried between her legs. He’d have to subtly place a hand over his crotch and hope his erection would go away or stop getting harder.
If the neck of her clothes was low enough to show some cleavage, he’d spend his time analysing the size of them, the roundness and perkiness of them in the clothes she wore. Or remembering the way they felt in his hands, warm and soft, and the way she looked so hot when he’d tease her sensitive nipples with his fingers, the noises she made playing in his head until he was hot and red in the face.
And his mind would drift endlessly to the memory of her naked body. The perfect dip of her waist when he holds her there and the way she squirms when he does it. The softness of her skin when his hands and his mouth are exploring, sucking, licking, biting, tasting her as his mouth waters hungrily; touching, squeezing, scraping, possibly bruising her body so she could always remember him. So she could always feel him and where he had been.
He’d stare at her hands as she typed away at the laptop, expertly pressing the keys with those swift and elegant fingers of her. She’d keep her nails relatively short and occasionally did them nicely. Currently, they were painted a mossy green colour that matched the gem of the silver ring she wore, one he’d picked out for her. Both of them knew the nail polish wouldn’t last, but he liked when she felt beautiful, it somehow made her a billion times more beautiful.
It was the memory of them slowly moving across his body, worshipping while soft and sometimes cold, smaller than his, that made him bite his lip. Even the gentle caresses to his face when he was on the brink of breaking apart into dust in grief and despair. Her hand in his whenever they went somewhere, while they slept, in the Bunker, in the Impala, during sex.
If he’s rolled up the sleeves of a white dress shirt, she’ll stare at the way the material stretches over his chest and broad shoulders, tightening around his arms when he flexes his hands and arms as a result of a cramp or the like. With that tiny fucking waist of his accentuated by the shirt tucked into his slacks, she couldn’t decide if she wanted to fuck him senseless or hold him gently in her arms.
If he walked around to get a beer, she’d stare at the tightness of the black slacks over his ass, over his strong thighs when he’d bend over to reach down for the bottle. She’d have to hold back a moan and squeeze her thighs together to stop herself from jumping his bones or actually moaning out loud.
Even his fucking fingers turned her on. It was fucking annoying, when he’d brush his thumb across his plump bottom lip to swipe away droplets of beer. It was embarrassing the way her walls clenched around nothing just at the memory of having his thick fingers inside her, pushing and stroking, quick and steadfast. Her panties soaked through with arousal with every bit of motion from his hands. Even when he’s cleaning their weapons.
But the one thing that truly made her lose her mind were his lips. They were so distracting. All the time. Whenever he speaks, her eyes are glued on his lips, but he doesn’t think much of it because she does it often with everyone in order to focus on what they’re saying. He just doesn’t understand how much that doesn’t work for her when it’s his lips she’s looking at.
All she can think about is how kissable they look, how soft they’d feel against hers, and how funny it would be if she just kissed him mid-sentence. He’d have that cute, bewildered, but pleased look on his face. He bit them often when he was deep in thought, slowly releasing it, turning it red and swollen, just slightly covered in his spit.
He had the cutest habits with his mouth. Puckering them when he’s eating, pouting all the time, sometimes he said certain words they’d pout even more, and when he was pissed or focused. And then he did that model thing with his lips, leaving them slightly parted as he stared at nothing or was considering something seriously.
He was fucking delicious. And that mouth of his was ridiculously talented. Really, very yummy…
It was unfair that he looked as sinful and as fuckable as he did without having to try. Even after waking up, with his soft hair spiked up in some places and flat in others. When his voice was thick and hot with sleep and he’d murmur half-irritated words if he was woken too early, or hot and loving things being mumbled against her ear when he was in a mood.
After all that staring and longing, there would be trips to the fridge, when either one of them grabbed snacks for the other. Hands and fingers brushing against each other when passing over the snacks or drinks. Little smiles were exchanged and yearning sparkled in their eyes, but neither of them did or said anything about it, so the tension grew and grew.
Maybe one of them might get closer to the other, pretending to curiously look at the work they were doing. Slowly, their eyes would drift innocently to each other and there would be an exchange of teasing and amused smiles. And then they’d bring their laptop or books closer and stay there, slowly legs would start to touch each other.
It was like a circuit of lust. The endless tensions and the electricity that made them shiver, skin prickling, hair sticking up; for her: nipples tightening and tingly cunt dampening her panties; for him: cock stirring, slowly hardening and straining in his boxers. Their breaths became noticeably heavier and their eyes would be heavy with desire, and their arms and hands would touch to increase the voltage on each other’s skin until they just couldn’t take it and had to do something about it.
They weren’t quite there yet, but they were both thinking about it. They already knew themselves and how things progressed from years of being together. It was nice.
“This is so fucking boring!” Dean whined abruptly, throwing his head back and running his hands down his face. “We shoulda stayed with Sammy and Donna to talk to witnesses.” He slumped down in his chair with a pout and then turned to look at his girlfriend who pursed her lips to stop a smile from spreading across her tinted lips.
“You told Sam your knee was still hurting from the last hunt and wanted to come back here,” she reminded him with a laugh, moving the laptop off her lap to twist her torso left and right until the crack of her spine made her sigh happily.
“Yeah, well now my ass hurts, too,” he complained, arching his back in the chair and flattening his hands down his backside as it became numb.
“Then stop sitting and walk around for a bit,” she suggested, stretching her legs underneath the table so their feet knocked against each other.
“Ugh, fine,” he grunted petulantly, tapping his foot against hers in retaliation before getting up. He shut his laptop, taking the now-warm beer on the table with him. He squatted for a few seconds and she laughed through her nose, stretching in the chair while she watched him try to ease the pain on his butt from sitting.
“Fuck, this feels so good… and painful, all at once,” he chuckled, pursing his lips so his little dimples appeared above his lips. He hissed when he strained his sore knee and then sighed when he was satisfied. When he stood up straight, he scrunched up his cute nose when something popped pleasantly, and slapped his own ass with both hands—at the same time.
“Better?” She asked with a grin.
“Not really,” he frowned dramatically, hunching his back.
“Aw, come ‘ere then, sweetheart.” She mimicked his pout, moved her chair back from the table and patted her lap. “Come sit on daddy’s lap,” she said with a grin, then snorted. He let out a loud laugh and stood up straight again, placing his beer back on the table to make his way onto her lap. “Oh, sweet Jesus, you’re heavy,” she whispered playfully when he sat on her legs.
“Shudup,” he said with a soft laugh, wrapping one arm around her shoulders to play with her hair and resting his over hand on her waist, his thumb brushing back and forth distractedly.
“So, how’s it going?” She asked, a soft smile growing on her lips as she looked up at him. She wrapped her arms around his waist, intertwining her fingers to keep her hands from slipping away.
“I’m bored,” he mumbled, lifting his hand from her waist to play with the thin strap of her red dress.
“Yeah, you said that.” She stared at him for a moment, watching the way his eyes drifted from her hair, to her shoulder, and finally her breasts.
“Do you have any idea how much I wanna fuck you?” Dean asked unexpectedly, his eyes snapping back up to hers to capture her reaction. She blinked at him in astonishment, a smile slowly growing on her face. “How much I’ve wanted to bend you over every counter we’ve come across?” He murmured, cupping the back of her head to gently tilt her head back, her lips parting and her heartbeat rising in response. She tightened her entwined fingers, staring into both of his eyes, waiting for his lips to meet hers. “How badly I wanna taste you? Kiss your lips? And touch every inch of your sexy body?”
“Dean,” she uttered breathily.
He smirked, teasing her by keeping his face inches away from hers, refusing her the pleasure of a kiss. His fingers slipped away from the strap of her dress to sneak into the top, but as his hands turned downward to cup her breasts, his fingers brushed against coarse material.
“Fucking boobtape,” he whispered and she laughed.
“My tits have to stay up somehow and not slip out if I have to fight,” she reasoned, feeling his fingers start to pick at the sticky tape. “Plus, a bra won’t make this dress look very nice. I mean… it’s got you this needy and hard...” She bit her lip and untangled her fingers to slide a hand between his legs. He became stiff and his breath hitched when she patted his hardening dick. “Get off me,” she murmured lightheartedly, letting him go completely.
“Y-yeah, okay,” he stammered, swiftly standing up off her lap.
He’d barely straightened up in front of her when she was starting to pull at the dark green tie to bring his lips down to hers in a rough kiss. He all but moaned against her mouth, grasping her hips desperately to pull the thin and silky cloth up so it bunched up at her waist, exposing some seamless, red panties that nearly matched the softness of the blood-red dress.
“Bed,” she murmured airily against his lips.
Dean nodded and quickly pressed his lips against hers again, moving with her as she made her way backwards, his hands groping and touching her body, hers pulling and tugging at his hair, their teeth clashing and tongues licking into each other's mouths. Lost in eachother, she ended up pressed against the wall with his knee shoved between her legs.
He pulled away, just to keep teasing her, “think I can make you cum on my thigh again?” He kissed down her jawline, his stubble tickling her soft skin, setting her nerves alight when he got to her neck, kissing softly and gently nipping at her pulse.
“I don’t doubt it,” she moaned, tilting her head back for him to stay there longer. He began rocking his knee back and forth, wrapped his arm around her waist and jutted her hips out slightly to position her perfectly on the tensing muscle of his thigh.
She grabbed at his hips with both hands and gasped at the friction on her clit. She started to roll her hips to match his movements, fumbling with his belt, struggling only because he wouldn’t keep still and her hands were shaking with desire, but she got it off eventually.
He pulled away from her before she could unbutton his pants and she pouted at him.
“Come sit on daddy’s lap,” he mocked her words from earlier with a laugh, sitting down on the bed. He patted his thigh for her to continue riding, and while the thought of that was hot, she was hung up on him calling himself daddy, even if it was a joke.
“Ewww,” she complained, holding back laughter. Still, she made her way between his legs and straddled one of his thighs, kissing his cheeks and forehead rather than plopping down and riding his thigh.
“Can I take the titty tape off?” He asked, lowering the neck of her dress to peek at the tape that matched her skin tone. She nodded, shoulders shaking with quiet laughter, and settled onto his thigh, busying herself with loosening his tie and unbuttoning his shirt.
“What if I tattoo your name on my body?” She murmured. Dean shifted his gaze away from her chest to look at her inquisitively, blindly and carefully peeling off the tape from the skin of her breast. “Not a tacky tattoo, maybe Times New Roman, font size 10,” she replied playfully, dropping a chaste kiss to his parted lips.
“Oh,” he uttered shyly, and stayed quiet for a couple of moments. “Where?” He finally asked, giving her time to think before moving to her other breast to remove the tape there. She pondered for a while and then shrugged.
“Maybe… my finger,” she answered, wiggling her middle finger mischievously at him—as if flipping him off. He laughed at her, balled up the tape now that he was done, and threw it on the floor.
“No….” He disagreed gently, grabbing her hand to close her fist, then kissed her knuckles. She bit her lip, smiling shyly when he looked up at her through his thick lashes.
“No?” She questioned, rolling her hips against his thigh, her knee gently brushing against his erection. He shook his head and moaned, leaning forward to press hot and wet kisses along her neck.
“Maybe here,” he murmured against the sensitive skin of her neck, nipping at her pulse point. She gasped and squirmed against his thigh, fisting his white t-shirt in one hand and burying her fingers into his hair with the other. “Or here,” he suggested, squeezing her breast, “maybe here would be better,” he added, then slapped her ass hard enough for her to yelp and jump.
“All three of those places, then?” She teased breathlessly, rolling her hips slowly and sensually. He sucked softly at her clavicle, then dropped a few kisses onto her breasts.
“Definitely,” he approved, dragging his lips up to her shoulders, letting his mouth push away the thin straps of her dress. “My favourite places.” She chuckled, squirming impatiently on his thigh. She guided his lips back up to hers by tugging at the short strands of his hair, choosing to nibble on his lip teasingly until he crashed his mouth against hers. “Need you…” he whispered between needy kisses, and slowly started to lift her dress upwards.
While she removed the dress, he shrugged off the white dress shirt, struggled a little when the sleeve got caught around his watch. “Fucken…” he grunted, unbuttoning the cuff with irritation.
“Don’t worry, baby, I love taking my time with you,” she laughed, pulling the t-shirt out from where it was tucked into his pants.
“Well, me personally? I don’t wanna have to pull out halfway through sex because Sammy’s on his way back. Not again,” he said seriously, lifting his arms to help her remove his shirt. She gave him an empathetic smile which quickly turned into an amused one when she remembered how uncomfortable and sensitive he had been the rest of the day. “It’s not funny, I was about to come, but fucken Sam had to text…” he pouted, then smiled when she started to laugh.
“Yeah… as funny as that was, I really need to come right now,” she conceded and climbed off his lap to remove her underwear. Dean reached out excitedly for them, playfully brushing her hands out of the way to pull her underwear down swiftly.
“I want you to come, too,” he said, licking his lips. She laughed quietly, holding his shoulders for balance, lifting her knee up so he could take her underwear off completely. “On my dick, though, not in my thigh,” he clarified, immediately pulling her back into him.
He dropped impatient kisses along her waist, forcing her to climb onto the bed on her knees, before moving his mouth upwards, his hands exploring her smooth body. She wrapped her arms around his neck, closed her eyes and unsuccessfully tried to steady her breath. She held him close to her, let him slowly pull her down onto his lap until their hips met.
“Dean, you gotta get your pants off,” she sighed.
“Stay,” he breathed, rolling his hips up into hers as a promise of what he’d give her. She moaned in surprise, whining when he pulled away and spread his legs, forcing her to do the same. Cool air passed between her soaked folds and she gasped.
Awkwardly, he fumbled with his slacks’ button between their bodies, careful not to make her shift or fall back with his brisk and eager movements. He shoved the pants down his legs, boxers sliding down right along with them, and kicked them off his feet.
He didn’t care about doing it properly and immediately drew her close to him when he heard the sound of his clothes hitting the floor. She laughed against his mouth, reached down between their bodies to wrap her hand around his cock.
He cursed softly against her mouth, grabbed her hips roughly and moved her hastily onto her back. It didn’t stop her from playing with him, teasing him by rubbing the hot and hard length of him through her folds. When she made a ring with her forefinger and thumb, he roughly sank his teeth into her shoulder and groaned loudly, freezing at the overwhelming pleasure of her fingers tightening around him and moving upwards in precise twists.
“Goddamnit,” he hissed, “shouldn’t have… told you I like—ah, shit!” He jolted, bucking his hips involuntarily when she started to massage underneath the head of his cock, nearly losing himself and nearly giving into the threat of his orgasm. “No.. wait,” he whined, weakly stopping her with his hands around her wrist.
“You sound so fucking hot when I do that,” she chuckled, “you know I can’t help myself, Dean.” Still, she let go of him and licked her fingers clean of the precum that coated them.
“I have something in mind,” he started suggestively, placing a rough kiss on her lips. She hummed softly and sucked on his lip, watching him move down her body with his lips and hands. He pulled away from her completely and positioned himself in the centre of the bed, patting the spot between his legs.
“You and your slutty little imagination,” she teased, crawling up to him. She parted his thighs, kissed along the inside of his soft—slightly scarred—skin and licked up a stripe of the underside of his cock. He groaned, reaching out for her arm when she twirled her tongue around the leaking tip, sucking gently on the soft head.
“Enough of that, beautiful,” he murmured, tugging her upwards by her arm and away from his dick. She pouted, letting go of his cock with a loud and obscenely wet pop that made him groan. “Lean back,” he instructed delicately, licking his lips when she brushed her wet lips against his teasingly.
With a small ‘okay’, she complied, leaning back with her hands flat behind her on the bed, her two thighs resting on either side of him. “Now, what?” Dean wrapped his hands around her knees instead of replying, and started to bend them upwards. She wiggled around slightly, moving with him and bit her lip when he slid his hands beneath her knees to hold her waist.
One of his hands migrated from her waist to wrap around his cock, guiding himself slowly and teasingly through her folds. She became flustered, staring at him with her knees bent over his forearms.
“This is…” she trailed off, cheeks red and heart beating wildly behind the cage of her ribs.
“Very hot,” Dean finished for her. He let go of his cock just to reach over to the bedside table where his phone was resting. She looked curious at him, thinking maybe he’d check on Sam before they got started, but instead he opened the camera and swiped until he was on the video recording section. “Is this okay, babe?” He asked, gazing back into her eyes, his thumb hovering over the red button.
“Yeah, D.” She nodded, chewing shyly on her lips. “Do you have way more videos of us fucking than of us doing.. ya know, cute romantic shit?” She asked, not caring that he was already recording. He scoffed, positioning the camera to capture her dripping folds, her breasts, and the bottom half of her face rather than his body.
“This is romantic,” he told her matter-of-factly.
“Mm, yeah.. right,” she snickered and lifted herself up using the strength of her arms so she could then lower herself on his cock.
“You don’t think so?” He grunted, watching lewdly as he stretched her pussy open, slowly disappearing inside her warmth. “I think it’s pretty romantic, watchin’ videos of how I fucked you… jerking off to them when I miss you. Listening to how needy and desperate you get for me when you’re about to come…” He explained explicitly, holding her waist tightly, when their hips met completely.
“It’s not just about the sex, baby,” he added, gazing into her eyes. She bit her lip and slowly started to lift herself back up again. “It’s about how it makes me feel. How you make me feel. It’s about time. Makin’ you mine, givin’ myself to you, lovin’ you, you lovin’ me in return, us.. being vulnerable.” She squeezed around him tightly and sank back down, her gaze soft. “It’s romantic that there’s no adios afterward, nothin’ for us to hide from each other during, just you and me barin’ our souls to one another… it’s about us.” He pulled her even closer just to kiss her passionately. Her thighs were practically pressed against the front of her body, somehow he managed to sink deeper into her, and he rocked his hips upwards so her clit brushed against his pelvic bone.
“Oh, fuck,” she gasped, moving one arm to wrap her arm around his neck instead. He smiled against her mouth, and blindly set the phone down on the nightstand, skilfully getting enough in the shot without much fumbling.
“C’mon, baby, you said you needed to come…” he whispered against her jawline, “so make yourself cum.” Dutifully, she began moving a little faster, trying to find a perfect cadence in this new position.
He mouthed at the skin of her neck and chest that he could reach, careful to leave very light marks so she could wear that sexy little dress again, and let her take control of everything. Almost immediately, she was able to move at the perfect pace, towards her orgasm and his.
Gasps and grunts, moaning and groaning, they held onto each other trying to bring each other toward their orgasms unhurriedly. She tipped her head back and tried to pull him impossibly close. With the impact of their hips, her clit was stimulated with a pleasant grind of his hips moving upwards, and this time, rather than doing what they always did—slowing down when they were close to extend the proximity of their organs, increasing the intensity of it—he breathily encouraged her to keep going.
He mindlessly praised her and confessed his love like he always did when he was close, meeting her thrusts far gentler than she was. Still, with one hand behind her and the other in his hair, she tugged on the hairs at the top of his head hard enough to make him moan loudly. His bruising grip on her waist didn’t let up, and his blunt nails dug into her back, waiting for her to cum before he could.
A few more strokes of his cock against her g-spot had her walls pulsing around him, gasping and panting his name, and pressing her forehead against his shoulder as her orgasm finally crashed over her.
She dropped kisses along his shoulder and neck, shuddering from her orgasm, and with a loud grunt of her name, Dean came inside of her. Slowly, they stopped moving and tried to catch their breaths while holding each other closely. She played with his hair and he soothed her bruised waist with calloused palms, then leaned forward all the way until she was laying on her back to kiss her face lovingly.
“Porn worthy?” She teased quietly, resting her hands on his waist waiting as he made a cute path along her face with kisses to reach her lips.
“I could go a second round,” he said, wiggling his eyebrows at her. He slowly rolled his hips against hers, still buried deep inside her. She groaned softly and wrapped her legs around his waist, encouraging him to keep moving, and wrapped her arms around his neck to kiss anything vulgar he was about to say.
Dean froze above her when he heard footsteps from outside their hotel room, pleading internally that it was random people passing by, but deflated when he heard Sam speak to Donna. “…I hope they found something.”
“Shit!” Y/n whispered, trying to push Dean off her when the doorknob began to rattle, but Dean didn’t budge, knowing it was no use and wanting to use his body as a shield.
“Well, the jig is up,” he joked, watching her throw her arms over her chest instead, glaring at him half-heartedly.
“Dean, your phone!” She reminded him, but Dean shrugged just as Sam swung the door open and stopped mid-sentence with Donna exclaiming some sort of phrase in surprise. Y/n would have laughed at whatever it was she said—Donna’s refusal to actually say a swear word—but she just groaned in annoyance.
“Seriously, guys? Every time!” Sam shouted, apologising to Donna quietly who brushed it off with a quiet ‘it’s okay’.
Donna sneaked one tiny glimpse at the naked couple just as Sam turned around for them to get dressed. Dean smirked smugly and winked at Donna, then looked away to watch as he pulled out of his girlfriend, their cum spilling out of her. His cock was hard again and Y/n shook her head, waiting for Dean to get the phone and get moving.
“You do realise that it could've been Taweret making you guys…” Sam scolded, filling the silence up as Dean gathered their clothes. Donna blushed and turned around as well, grateful that Sam didn’t mention her hesitation in turning around sooner.
“Uh,” Y/n stammered, pulling her clothes on when Dean handed it to her.
“You have a point, Sammy, but we usually do this, anyway, so…” Dean spoke up, giving Y/n a hand so she could stand on slightly shaky legs beside him. “‘sides, I did find something…” Dean announced, pointing to his laptop on the table. With a hard slap on Y/n’s ass, Dean walked to the bathroom to get cleaned up, grasping her small hand with his to bring her with him.
“Sorry,” Y/n laughed, apologetically bowing her head before following Dean to get herself cleaned up as well. As she walked, she could feel Dean’s cum drip out of her, her panties wet and cool between her legs made her uncomfortable but she kept them on, washing her hands with Dean standing next to her doing the same.
“Well, they’re still cute,” Donna said brightly, trying to brighten Sam’s sour mood, but it only worsened when he opened Dean’s laptop and the open tab was a sex page with a list of positions to try.
“Seriously, Dean? Close the damn tabs!”
“Whoops,” Dean snickered, gazing at Y/n who only rolled her eyes at him, affectionately smiling. “Gonna play this video real loud tonight,” he whispered with a grin, shaking his phone in his hand, leaning down to give her a kiss on the forehead.
“That’s really funny, but no,” she chuckled, bringing him down for a soft kiss when he pouted at her childishly.
BUT who the fuck is that guy in the background?! 😂
I literally wrote “Dean Winchester with his girlfriend and a newborn.”
