Hello hello! happy new year 🎊🎊🎊!!! I was just wondering if you could do a part two to the stranded fic you wrote for Thrawn (totally optional ofc ignore this if you want‼️‼️‼️) I think it would be interesting to see the aftermath of their relationship like are they rescued or not? If they're not do they just say fuck it let's start a family? If so do they eventually get discovered by the rebels/empire (sort of like the plot for Ahsoka ig???) And they're like yo look at me and my family haha fuck y'all I'm not going back to civil society I love my partner and our children! (If you can't tell I have been thinking about this situation for ages it's making me go crazy with the possibilities) Your fics feed my soul tbh I'd actually die for your writing I go feral when you update the JC series or just post something in general 💞💞💞 (idk how to end this lmao I barely request stuff LMAOOOO idk if I'm even doing it right 😭) (also feel free to make it as horny as you want you can literally make it the sexiest of smut or just make it completely cute and tooth rottingly sweet!!!!!) (Again ignore this if it's something you're not interested in or if it breaks a rule or something!!!!!!)
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw thank you love ❤️Happy new year to you too❤️Thank you for your support, my dear. I hope you will love this one too❤️

You open your eyes, your face bathing in a ray of sun. It is already quite hot outside, but the hut retains the freshness of the night quite well. You rise in a seating position, on your mattress of hay and palm tree leaves in a sheet of linen. Next to you Thrawn’s spot is cold already, he must be awake for some time now. You wince as your baby hits your tummy.
“I’m sorry darling, you must be hungry.” You gently caress your swollen stomach. “I will find something for us to eat.”
You stand up on your feet, a little bit unbalanced by your pregnant stomach and head for the main place. You wave at your neighbors that go around their business, greeting you in return.
A month after escaping the cannibal village you crossed paths with another alien species, beings you can at best described as frog people with their globulous eyes and slimy greenish skin, but full of kindness and a strong community sense. They welcomed you in their village, feeded you and soothed your wounds, and contrary to the cannibal village Thrawn did not detect any ill intent or habits in their art. He analyzed that they were former peaceful wanderers of the universe that crashed on the planet like you did millennia ago. In fact, the village is right next to the destroyed carcass of the ship that brought them here, the survivor took everything useful from the ship and built a new community.
They now speak a bastardization of Basic, permitting you to communicate with them quite well, even if there are still some mishaps here and there. You came to discover the cannibals took them regularly for preys and they had the greatest difficulties at repelling them, their former peaceful ways led to a more armed culture but they are still not efficient soldiers. That’s when Thrawn intervened. He trained with their warriors to get used to their different weapons and tactics and convinced the chiefs to let him lead their warriors on the next attack.
And he did.
Successfully.
For the first time in the millenia of conflict between the two species the frog people didn’t lose any lives or children to the cannibals. The party that followed that night was grandiose and flashy, the frog people warmly thanked Thrawn and offered you both to stay at the village.
You accepted, given they weren’t murderous cannibals. Thrawn pondered the question longer, still focused on the possibility of finding a way to come back to the Empire.
There wasn’t.
The frog people spreaded all around the globe of that planet and established colonies on all the continents and kept a tight diplomatic bond between each colony. The chiefs proposed you remain in the village to relax for while they sent messages to the other colonies to ask them. You have been in the village for some weeks now but Thrawn decided he would go to meet the other colony and have the chance to ask for himself. And you would not let his politically incompetent ass go anywhere alone unless you wanted him to create chaos, so you decided to go with him. But the morning of your departure you started puking and couldn’t walk without feeling weak so Thrawn carried you bridal style to the healer of the tribe, deciding to postpone his travel until you knew what was going on.
And you didn’t have to wait long.
After examining your body and checking your hormonal balance with some reactives plants the healer determined that you were pregnant! You had a moment of silence, brain frozen, taking in the news and asked for other tests to be conducted immediately, she obliged, and ended up with the same results. Thrawn wasn’t in the hut, politely waiting outside while she examined your body.
You were at a loss of words. A multitude of contradicting emotions raging in your brain and heart.
You were pregnant? Chiss and humans are compatible?
How would Thrawn react? How should YOU react? It was one thing to share a night of passion with your enemy turned ally while you were stranded, carrying his child and heir was a complete other matter! The healer noticed your clear lack of enthusiasm and asked if you wanted to terminate the pregnancy now.
You had no words. Should you do it? Should you not? How would your comrades react at the sight of you bearing the child of the Grand Admiral Thrawn?
Should you even tell him? If you took the preparation she was handing you and terminated the pregnancy in its early stage, was it even worth informing Thrawn?
You decided that yes.
It was.
You called for him and he entered the hut, kneeling down next to you he gently put a strand of hair out of your face with his fingers in a reassuring gesture. You smiled at him gently and warned him to stay seated for the news. He turned to the healer, squinting his eyes in concentration and maybe some worry.
“Is it a dangerous illness?” He asked, “Is her life at risk?”
“Her life is at risk, but not by an illness. This is simply the circle of life.”
He tilted his head, clearly not understanding the healer's words. You took his hand and squeezed it, looking at him in the eyes.
“Thrawn…” You started, deadly serious, “I am pregnant.”
He fully turned to you in complete silence, his eyes barely rounding up in surprise, his control remaining total. Will you one day be able to surprise this man?
He remained mute for a full minute, eyes fixed in yours, before opening his mouth.
“Do you want this child?” Was his only question, his only worry.
“I… Do not know.” You confessed. “What if we find a way to go home?”
“I would not impose you to follow me in the Empire’s ranks.”
“Then could I deprive this child of their father? Could I tell them their parents are mortal enemies?”
“Maybe you could send them to me.” He proposed.
“And have them in the Imperial system? Out of the question! My child will not be an imperial pawn!” You exclaimed resolutely.
“I could send them to the Ascendancy.” He proposed again.
You pondered that possibility. You live a dangerous life made of battles and combats, constantly on the run. Thrawn has more stability, but you will not make your child and Imperial citizen, they will be free and nothing else. Sending them to the Ascendancy, to Thrawn original worlds however… might be their best chances. He talked to you about it for long hours, revealing to you his memories, maybe… Maybe this is the best you could offer that child.
Of course it would mean being separated from your own flesh and blood, but the life you would give them isn’t a life for a child.
“That’s a good idea.” You finally nod. “It would be a more stable environment for them.”
Thrawn squeezed your hand approvingly in response
“But do you even want this child?” You raise your head to him, “We never talked about it. We don’t even know what we are.”
Since that night you shared, you didn’t leave each other's side, living, sleeping, bathing together, just spending the days hand in hand. But you are not in a regular situation, is a relationship started in such extreme conditions as of a crash a stable basis for a healthy couple? Do the standard relationships apply to you? So far away from all laws and civilization do putting a label on your situation even make sense?
He looked at you with a raised eyebrow.
“You are the one carrying the embryo, you have the final word. But if you ask me : yes. I want that child.”
But you are still unsure. Are you ready to be a mom? Delivery in those conditions could be incredibly dangerous for you and the baby, what about infections, complications? The frog people kept some techniques and technology from when they still traveled the universe but a lot of machinery simply died for lack of energy source or repair pieces. Could you give birth away from the comfort and security offered by a hospital?
The healer took the powder and poured it in an envelope that she handed to Thrawn.
“Take the time to think about it.” She simply said, giving you a bay to eat to help with nausea.
You exited the little hut in silence, the envelope pressed against your chest. Thrawn circled your shoulders with his arm.
“We need to talk.” He said very seriously, “Let’s put you to bed, first.”
He guided you to your hut and helped you lay down, putting the traveling gear in one corner of the room.
“I am sorry.” You breathed, “I’m slowing you down.”
“No need for excuses. You are forgiven.” He responded by coming back to you, kneeling at your side.
He put his hand on your forehead to take your temperature very delicately.
“Are you comfortable?”
You nod, the nausea slowly subsiding. He remains silent for a long moment, only caressing your forehead, seemingly lost in his own thoughts. But he is never lost, merely reorganizing his brain like a computer.
“What?” you asked with a little voice.
“Nothing.” He said.
“You are fixing me so intently.”
“I am simply thinking, I thought about what you said: “We don’t even know what we are”.”
You purse your lips. It’s true you said that.
You were content about what you had all this time but the prospect of a child put everything into perspective and demanded clarifications.
“I am not wrong. We never really discussed about us, just lived in the present moment.” you argue.
“You are right, it was not a criticism.” He tampers with his deep melodious voice, “Were you happy during those times?”
“Yes.” you confess.
“Me too.” he admits too, “Do you envision yourself pursuing this relationship seriously?”
“I… Is this what you want? We talked about keeping seeing each other and all that, but… Does being a couple make any sense here? Does going official have any weight in our situation?”
“To me it does.” He tilted his head, “I want to be with you. Live with you, build a family with you.”
“And when we get rescued?” You ask, “You didn’t renounce that possibility. What then? We go our merry way, tearing the family apart?”
“I am afraid we will be blocked here for some time.” He responded, “If we ever get rescued.”
You frowned.
“You think there is a risk we stay stranded here?”
“This is a possibility to keep in mind.” He ominously said
You sighed, suddenly exhausted. You closed your eyes, trying to clear your mind.
“Do not take the medicine, please.” You suddenly heard him murmuring so low you almost doubted you heard him.
You reopen your eyes to look at him interrogatively.
“I want this baby. I want to be a father. I want to live with you and see our children grow. Leave me a chance to prove to you I am worth it.” He said, looking into your gaze with sparkly eyes.
His tone was assured and affirmative but you saw so much hope in those red eyes, all the dreams he had to leave behind when he became a Grand Admiral, he could live them here. He could restart anew, fresh,  become the man he dreamed to be deep inside himself.
You raised in a seating position with a grumble.
“I do not doubt your worth, nor your capacities to be a father, but… There is so much uncertainty, so much fog… I cannot take that decision carelessly.”
“I understand your doubts and difficult position. And whatever you do, I will respect your choice. But, if I may tell you my opinion, again, please do not take the medicine. I will be here for you and the child, I want us to live all together. As a family”
“I will think about it…” You clench your fist around the envelope.
“Of course, Cha’cah.” He leaned forward to capture your lips in an infinitely soft kiss that you would have never believed him capable of, “The final choice is yours only.”
He caressed your cheek, kissed your forehead and left you alone to nap and gather energy.
You didn’t sleep, a headache threatened you all day long. And as usual, when night came you felt his arms wrapping around your form, tighter this night. You were pressed against his broad chest, his warm body, shielding you from the rest of the world.
You never took the medicine.
You pondered it during long weeks before one day standing still in front of Thrawn and handing him the envelope.
“Get rid of it.” you simply said.
He looked at the envelope, squinting, before grasping your arm and pulling you in a tight hug.
“Thank you.” He murmured, nose buried in your hair.
And that is how you ended up giving birth to your daughter. A healthy little girl in a rush to come into the world.
You woke up in the middle of the night like someone stabbed your womb before realizing your waters broke. Thrawn, awakened in a flash, helped you to the healer and she woke up all the women of the village, all came in the middle of the night to help. A birth is a matter of the entire community here.
They helped you to get rid of your tight clothes and enter a bath, trying to help you relax and relieve any tension. Thrawn was pushed outside the hut unceremoniously at first, “it is a women’s affair only.” They said to him, you don’t know what he responded but he was finally authorized to stay after a back and forth. He came to your side and took your hand, circling your shaking shoulders with his long arm.
“You got this, Cha’cah. I know you can do it.” He praised and supported you.
He talked to you during the whole process, taking your mind off the pain, kissing your temple, squeezing your hand.
Until finally, you heard her first scream.
She was as blue as him, with the same red eyes, but she inherited your hair. You immediately took her in your arms, still shaking and full of sweat but so relieved and happy.
Your little baby.
Your daughter.
Thrawn cut the umbilical cord with the fang dagger he gave you and came to your side to admire his daughter, delicately caressing her head still full of blood.
“She looks like you.” You say out of breath and the heart spilling love.
“Indeed. But she has your features. She will be as beautiful as you.”
He hugged you both like you could vanish at any second.
“Welcome to the world, little one. I love you so much.” He murmured, taking her in his large hands.
“What should we call her?” You ask. “We should pick a Chiss name.”
He looked at you with a hint of surprise and gratitude.
“What do you think of… Thaishi?” He proposed with a thin smile, eyes fixated on the baby.
“Taishi… Little Thaishi.” You make the name roll on your tongue, “I like it a lot.”
“Welcome Thaishi. My daughter.” He let out still incredulous, but the love and warmth was unmistakable in his voice. He immediately initiated skin-to-skin contact, trying to appease your daughter’s cries before the healer took her to examine her.
It was four years ago.
Thaishi speaks and sprints everywhere now, she is unstoppable, making you run after her all day long under Thrawn’s amused loving gaze.
She is already at the buffet this morning when you arrive at the center of the village. The frog people cook for the community and not for individuals, hunt together, fish together, gather together and they eat all together. But today is not your day to cook so you slept late.
You caress Thaishi’s head who doesn’t even take the time to sit with others to eat, she just picks what she wants and eats it immediately. She looks up to you with her mouth full, making her look like a hamster.
“Go sit with the kids, little terror.” You kiss her forehead.
She picks up three other fruits and runs to the kiddos and sits with them.
“(Y/n), we could have brought the food to your hut!” The lady in charge of the cooks today chastises you.
“No, it’s better if I come to eat with everyone.” You respond with an appeasing smile, “Did you see Thrawn this morning?”
“He was out hunting with the youngs early, they should… Ah! Talk about the wolf!”
You spin on yourself, your plate in hand, to see the hunters entering the village with their games. Thrawn stands out with his deep blue skin against their green ones, you notice him immediately. Everyone comes to them to inspect the meat and congratulate the hunters.
“How is my wife this morning?” Thrawn asks, pulling you in his arms immediately.
You giggle as he presses you against his large body, your pregnant belly in the way. He leans forward to kiss you tenderly and then kneels to caresses your belly with enamored red eyes.
You feel your baby giving a kick against his palm.
“They are full of energy.” He notes satisfied.
“Thaishi is too! I have trouble containing her sometimes.”
“Thaishi, listen to your mother.” Thrawn takes his daughter's shoulder in his hand, “It is important to obey adults, young one. We do it for your protection.”
“But I can’t help it, I want to run and jump everywhere!” She responds with her mouth full.
“Young lady, your table manners are lacking. We need to correct them.” He boops her nose.
She gulps her bite down and smiles at him with all her teeth.
“Go play, we will study Cheuhn later.” He smoothes her hair and pushes her gently towards the kids.
You both look at her running again to her comrades, the only blue skin and red eyes in the green and globulous eyes.
You sigh, the heart so full of love it could explode any minute now, when you feel Thrawn arms circling your shoulders.
“She’s four already.” You let out.
“Yes. She is growing quickly.”
“I feel like I gave birth to her yesterday and now look at her… Running all over without losing her balance. Maker… Tomorrow she will be a fully grown adult.”
“She will not, do not worry. She will remain our little lady whatever happens.”
You glance at him with a little grin.
“Are you becoming sentimental, Thrawn? What’s happening to my tough warrior?”
He chuckles lowly in response, amused.
“I have always been sentimental since she was a baby. Do not tell me you never noticed?”
“Oh I did notice! It was quite endearing to see you melt before her by the way! Seeing your facade cracking before your own baby…” You lay your head on his shoulder, caressing his cheek. “You have a good heart, Thrawn.”
“When it comes to you three, I always do.” He puts a hand on your tummy “What did the healer say yesterday?”
“They are growing quickly and well. I gained plenty of weight, my hormones are balanced and she didn’t notice anything wrong.”
“Yes, but she doesn’t have the correct equipment, so much could escape her.” He argues, suddenly frowning.
“Thrawn… Women have been giving birth here in those conditions for a millenia! So much they spread all over the continents, their death rate is really low. She knows her stuff.” You comfort him, holding his cheeks in your hands.
He slowly nod.
“You are right, as always.”
“I already gave birth, I can do it. I know I can.” You insist.
He kisses your palms delicately.
“I trust you, Cha’cah.”
“Good.” You raise on tiptoes to brush your nose with his. “Did you eat this morning?”
“I did, right before the hunt.” He squeezes your hand, “I will be on the ship if you need me.”
He kisses your forehead and grabs and carries Thaishi on his shoulders making her scream laughing among the children.
You go back with the others, sitting on your ankles, observing your husband and daughter as you eat your fruits. Your minds start wandering back to the night you wed Thrawn, you remember being in his arms, heavily pregnant with Thaishi, laying on your mattress. He was caressing your hair as your cheek was pressed against his chest, listening to his beating heart.
“We should get married.” He suddenly said in the dark of the night.
“Why?” you asked, yawning.
“We have a baby on the way. We should do it for them.”
“For them? Not because you’re so in love with me you could feel your heart explode?” You tease him with a light laugh.
“Do you doubt my love?”
“No Thrawn, I was simply joking. I do not doubt you.” You brush your cheek on the skin of his pec to reassure him.
Something you picked up on is Thrawn's low self esteem, or rather poor view of his own person. You realized it listening to him talk about his time in the Ascendancy, he measures his self worth though his capacity to serve and obey his people, completely ignoring his innate value as an individual being. He thinks of himself as a tool, a cog, in the great scheme of things. Just a usable asset to throw away once he has served his purpose. And maybe the most terrifying thing in this situation is that he was contented by this. To him he isn’t deserving of respect and love if he fails his duties. It is a completely normal situation to him, something he has internalized and never questioned.
So he didn’t understood you throwing yourself at him to hug him tight and reassuring him that you loved him. He stayed still, like frozen, listening to you declaring your love to him so suddenly he had nothing to say, maybe a bit shocked.
From this day on you took care to tell him everyday that you loved him, hugging and kissing him, showering him with your love, proving to him that whatever flaws he had or whatever failures he may have committed, he was worthy of unconditional love.
“I love you, (y/n). It is a fact that I cannot deny. When I realize you are in my presence, my heart tightens. When you speak, my heart seems to jump. When you are in my arms, it races. I daresay those symptoms point to love.”
“I know, my love.” You grazed your finger on his chest, “I love you all the same. I am truly at ease and relieved when you are at my side. I worry when I do not feel your presence.”
He took your hand to kiss your knuckles.
“I will not leave you. I am whole and appeased only with you.”
You raised your head to kiss his jaw tenderly.
“I want to tie my legacy to yours, be a family.” He continues.
You looked intently at his laying form silently.
“Because you miss yours?”
He remained silent and his gaze fixed on the ceiling seemed to harden.
“There is no need to hide it, love. It is natural to long for the presence of your family, whoever you are. It means you have a heart and a home to go back to.”
“I have a duty towards them. I will not go back to them until it is done.” He finally said with a hard tone.
It wasn’t directed against you, you knew it, it was simply a testimony of his resolution.
“So you truly want it?” You questioned gently.
“It would fill my heart with bliss if you bestowed yourself to me.” He confessed with a tone of  confidence, caressing your cheek.
“If you promise to love me for all eternity, I accept to be yours.” You said.
He kissed your knuckles again before putting your hand on his beating heart.
“For all eternity, Cha’cah. You have my word.”
You lowered yourself and kissed his lips gently, he responded lasciviously, deepening the kiss.
He stood up, helped you rise on your feet and you sneaked away in the night to the Chiefs hut like children who would have stolen a cookie jar. The chiefs performed the ceremony according to their traditions and you were married to Thrawn.
To your Grand Admiral.
And him to his Rebel.
You shared the decisive kiss with the chiefs benedictions and felt your heart tightening with love. He kissed your forehead tenderly while caressing your cheek and you hugged him tight.
Now, with you pregnant, your destinies were intertwined forever.
And he wouldn’t have it any other way.
You never told the rest of the community, they didn’t need to know. You were together and that is all that mattered.
But there was one dark stain on the canvas.
You made peace with the fact that you wouldn’t get rescued by now. That is also why you carried the pregnancy to term and accepted his hand in marriage. Because deep down you felt you would never get out of this isolated planet.
But Thrawn didn’t.
Thrawn keeps fighting everyday to go home.
And you’re not sure how to feel about that.
Was it his loyalty to the Empire or his relentless devotion to the Ascendancy that pushed him so much? He refused to answer.
But coming back signifies saying goodbye. And that’s tearing your heart apart. When you realized he was tempering with the ship communication device to send messages to the Empire you badly reacted, you had your first real fight. He refused to stay arms dangling when his duties called for him and you refused to help go back to his murderous Empire.
In the end you remained a rebel and a Grand Admiral.
And it created the first cracks in your marriage.
A chance Thaishi was still a baby and couldn’t understand why her parents were arguing, but she did pick up on the bad vibes and your cracked voice and started crying. Before Thrawn could pick her up to console her, you took her, shouting he better get used to not seeing his family if he wanted to go back to the Empire so badly and ran off to the hut of friends and remained here for a full week.
You regretted those words. So badly. He never once raised his voice against you, remaining calm, but also so cold, so calculating, his determined gaze terrified you so you preferred to flee with your daughter.
He came to your friends’ hut everyday to see his child and everyday you refused, hugging her against your heart. You were so mad, so terrified, so… So betrayed! How could he dare do that to your family?
When you accepted to receive him, he sat down in front of you in silence, just observing his baby in your arms with a loving gaze.
But he was actively trying to tear his family apart and you couldn’t forgive him just yet.
“How is she?” he asked
“Good.”
“Can I hold her?”
“No.” you placidly answered
He simply took a deep breath in response before opening his mouth again.
“We should talk.”
“Indeed we should. You have a lot of explaining to do.” You frowned.
“I had good reasons to try to go back to the Empire.”
“Yes, evidently you are still very much attached to this tyranny.”
“You do not understand. I didn’t tell you everything.”
You raise an eyebrow, what could he say to save his image now?
“If I am so attached to this tyranny, as you call it, it is to save my worlds.”
And he explained everything to you, all the secrets he kept hidden all this time, secrets nobody’s outside of him and a certain Ba’kif knew about. The true reasons of his mission and allegiance to the Empire, anything he didn’t tell you before.
You just listen silently, eyes round and mouth agape.
“... You may hate me now, but I will demand to keep seeing my daughter. This is all I ask for.”
“I…” You just manage to say, lost “I am sorry, Thrawn.”
He remained silent, sounding you with his inquisitive red gaze, awaiting your reaction once you gathered your thoughts.
“I shouldn’t have reacted like that.” You concede, “But I couldn’t turn a blind eye either…” You try to show him where you come from.
But he is determined.
“I know. But my success depends on the success of the Empire.”
“The success of the Empire implies the subjugation of all races and slavery.”
“Not when I will have taken control of it. This is a necessary evil for now.”
“This is horrible… How can you say that?” You said, pained.
“This is war, casualties are inevitable. ” He insisted, “But when I will lead it, everything will end. You need to trust me.”
You lower your gaze to observe your daughter’s face. She is peacefully sleeping in your arms, soothed by both of your voices. She is as blue as him, with the same red eyes…
You already tied yourself to him, for better and for worse…
You sigh, closing your eyes. You hear him getting closer and circling your shoulders with his arm.
“I need you to trust me, cheo Cha’cah. I do it for the greater good.” He murmurs soothingly.
You purse your lips.
“I will not hinder you, but do not expect me to help you in any way!” You annonce with tenacity.
“Alright.” He gently kisses your shoulder, “Are you still mad?”
“Yes! A lot! But… I understand better now.” You say giving him a side glance.
He looks deep into your eyes, squeezing your shoulders against his body.
“I love you…” He confesses like a secret.
“Me too…” You reassure him. “But I will need time.”
“Will you let me hold our daughter?”
You gently give him your baby and she opens her eyes to meet his. He presses her delicately against his chest, a skin-to-skin hug so important for babies. She grabs one of his fingers in her little fist and starts babbling, smiling at her father.
“Hello you.” He gently says, “I missed you.”
You purse your lips, feeling like a heartless monster for depriving him of his child, and her, her father.
He slept with Thaishi in his arms that night and you pressed yourself against him, looking at your baby, cheek pressed on the chest of her father, sleeping soundly, at peace.
And you cried, knowing that this could come to an end one day.
You’re being brutally called back to reality when Thaishi sprinted into your laps to smash into you.
“Leys proposed to me to spend the day with her!” She exclaims joyfully as you try to catch your breath after that hit.
You turn towards Ley’s mother, slowly nodding.
“You need some peace and quiet at that point in your pregnancy, (Y/n). Relax for the day, we will take care of the kids.”
You turn back to Thaishi, eyes full of hope.
“Alright, but you must promise to behave well when you are with them! And don’t forget your Cheuhn lesson with your father.”
“Yes, mom!” She already sprints back to her friends group, barely listening to you.
She only listens to her father. You sigh, shaking your head.
Kids…
You yawn and decide to use this newfound liberty to take a nap, even if you just woken up. You were soundly sleeping for some hours now, back at your hut, when you felt a warm body pressing itself against your back and strong, large hands caressing your pregnant belly.
“Welcome back, sir…” You yawn.
Thrawn kisses your shoulders, pressing you tighter against his large body.
“How are you feeling?” He whispers.
“Heavy!” You burst out laughing “And fat! This belly gets in the way of everything, it’s impressive.”
“You are beautiful like that.” He insists, “I found you more and more hypnotizing as your pregnancy advances” He keeps caressing your tummy tenderly.
“Are you sure you are the most objective person in this situation?” You argue back with a side grin.
“I need not to be objective, I only need my eyes to witness your bewitching beauty. And I can confidently say you are the most beautiful of all.”
“Even when my body is limp and bloated like that?”
“Especially like that. You being pregnant is a real… Temptation.” He breathes lowly in your ear, “I have all the pain in the world to maintain my control.”
“You? Struggling to keep your control in check? I do not believe you sir.” You laugh.
“And yet, such is the effect you have on me.” He starts kissing your neck, slowly going up. “You mesmerize me in every possible way.” He licks your ear with the tip of his tongue.
“You are really touchy today.” You squirm in his embrace, brushing your soft body against his muscles.
“I have been struck by a real vision.”
“Well thank you sir, I take care of myself!” You joke. “You are quite handsome yourself!”
Your hair has grown too by the time and he buries his nose in it to inhale your scent.
“I want to eat you up.” He says with a growl.
“Aren’t I delectable?” You keep joking.
“You are. Exactly to my taste, but you misunderstood me.” He leans again, blowing on the shell of your ear, sending shivers down your spine, “I want to eat you out until you are a shaking mess in my hands, until you can not remember your own name.” He gives another quick lick to your ear.
His deep voice has such an effect on you, you can’t help but shudder in response, much to his satisfaction. Thrawn proved himself physically affectionate, not shy to express his love physically in public or in private… Especially in private! And even though Thaishi’s birth didn’t stop your sex life, it is true it slowed it down a bit. Your last sexual relationship was some months ago and the new pregnancy didn’t help, even though… Thrawn looks at you differently when you’re pregnant.
You're convinced it teases something deeply buried in his psyche and entrails, it excites him, always looking at you wherever you are, always holding you in his arms in some ways, keeping you to himself…
You remember your first pregnancy, he had his hands all over you all day long, drinking between your legs for long hours, getting more and more unhinged as your tummy started to get bigger and bigger.
Maybe it is one of his kinks… You have the occasion to verify it today…
You turn to face him with a cheeky grin.
“So you like me pregnant.” You state.
“It is a wonder of nature.”
“Is that it?” You innocently pull on your shirt to reveal your belly to his eyes.
The light growl emanating from him was unmistakable. His gleaming eyes seem to shine brighter and you think you see him gulp.
“Just a wonder of nature?” You insist, blinking your eyes naively.
“I wonder what kind of reaction you expect of me, flashing your pregnant belly to me.”
“I don’t know… Maybe I am simply curious?”
He raises an eyebrow in response, not buying your innocent act.
“Curious?” He repeats cautiously.
“Curious about the fantasy of my man… What titillates him, what excites him, what drives him absolutely…” You keep your act, drawing sweet circles with your nail on your heavy tummy. “... Crazy.”
He takes a deep breath, eyes locked on your round belly, clearly interested in what you have to offer. His growl takes a dive in the deeper tone, squinting his eyes, trying to maintain his cool in front of your insolent temptation allurement.
He remains very set back in his fantasies, never truly revealing his true taste, preferring to oblige yours instead so you have only an unfinished portrait of his kinks.
But this…
This caught his attention well and you intend to play a bit with it.
“I feel like I have your full attention.” you smile cheekily.
“You do.” he says, cautious of your little game, but so tempted.
“My belly is so soft and warm, if only you could feel it like I do.” You tease mercilessly. “Do you like me pregnant with your child?”
“Yes. A lot.” His voice is no more than a growl now.
He extends his hand to caress your tummy and you slap it immediately. He groans, displeases, and frowns in response.
“No touch. You can only admire.”
“You have no mercy.” He mediates, “Will you really deny me?”
“Maybe. After all, physical exhaustion is really bad for me, I don’t know if letting you do what you want is good for the baby.” You clap back without pity for him.
“I do believe what I have in mind is really good for both of you.” He insinuates lowly.
“You have no proof of what you say.”
“Really? We can go ask the healer right now and we will know where we stand.” He responds without missing a bit, absolutely serious.
You observe him haughtily, like you’re not believing him and don’t intend to give up. He presses himself tighter to you. You wonder how it would get if you pushed him to his limits…
He has always been soft and tender to you, but you’re curious. How is he when he is mad? When you push his dominant tendencies?
You refrain from smiling like a deviant.
“Let me show you what I mean, and you will judge for yourself.” He proposes.
“I do not know if I will let you, mister. I am not convinced.” You put your hand on his mouth to push him back with a grin.
He licks your palm to get rid of your hand with a dark gaze.
“Do not play with me.” He warns.
“Or what? What will you do to your heavily pregnant wife?” You tease.
He flinches imperceptibly at the mention of your pregnancy, growling deeply like an annoyed animal.
“You couldn’t hurt a fly. I am not afraid in the slightest, mister.”
He looks at you intently and suddenly his Intense gaze melts into sparkling eyes and he lets out a sneer.
“You will not gain what you want by playing with my ego, Cha’cah.”
Oh Makers damn it!
“Come on!” You insist, pressing yourself more against him, “Humor me!”
“No.” He chuckles, amused like he would with a child, “You will not win that fight.”
“Pffffff… You’re no fun.” You purse your lips, sulking.
“On the contrary, I can be a lot of fun.” He embraces you tightly, “You just need to find the right levers.”
“I had one! You clearly were hanging onto every word when I showed you my belly!” You contest.
“Indeed. And you would have won if you kept playing with this strategy, but you made the tactical error of changing the point of pressure.”
You grumble, frustrated. You were really curious, how is sex with him when he’s mean and overly dominant?
“Do not frown, cheo cha’cah. You need not to play the temptress to seduce me, your innate charms work wonders.” He tries to soothe you.
“I wanted to see how it would go if you were mean and harsh.” You pout.
“Being mean and harsh to you is not appealing to me. I would rather honor you than demeaning you in any way.” He kisses your forehead.
You’re still deadly curious.
“I will find a way, one day.” You promise, seething.
“Do not sulk, my love.” He smiles, entertained, “Let me take care of you, it will ease the tension between your eyebrows, my darling.” He continues, lowering himself to kiss your clavicle and going more south.
He kisses your tummy reverently, leaving sweet kisses all over it while caressing it. You feel the baby giving him a kick and he responds with a final, loving peck.
“They too are quite energetic.” He notes, satisfied, “You keep giving me healthy and strong children. Thank you.”
He then reports his attention to your skirt that he slides down your hips and legs with ease. Still pouting, you close your legs shut to deny him, he chuckles again, sliding his hands between the flesh of your thighs and successfully opening them for him.
“Come on now, there is no need to be difficult, sweet thing. I know you love it when I go down on you.”
It’s true.
With him being so good at it, you can only love it in return. But he doesn’t want to entertain your fancy so you won’t entertain his. You cross your arms over your chest with a grumble.
“You are unbelievable, cheo Cha’cah. You act like a spoiled child.” You hear his smug smile in his voice, hidden behind your stomach. “But I know how to make you react, I know everything about you.”
You feel the cold air on your pussy as he slides your panties on the side, he blows on your clit playfully, sending a shiver down your spine again but you refrain from the whine that threatens to pass your lips.
“I will have you sing soon enough, my love.” He says with his usual confidence.
He takes a sloppy lick at your pussy and you greet your teeth together.
Do not make a sound! Do not make a sound! Do not make a sound!
Unimpressed by your headstrong attitude, he keeps licking your pussy lips lazily, like a tired, lascivious king, moaning his own pleasure for you.
He also knows that you absolutely love hearing him moan and groan, vocalizing his pleasure out loud, it goes straight to your empty pussy that starts to signify to you that it is scandalously empty.
He laps at your cunny slowly with the flat of his tongue, trailing your slit with his tip and sucking your nervous clit. You bite your lips and dig your nails into the flesh of your arms to maintain control over yourself.
“Your pussy is more honest than you are.” He notes, “It gets wetter to my touch while you childishly refuse to indulge.”
Oh, he’s one to talk about indulgence, mister frugal lifestyle!
“You do not! I am a dry ice cube! In fact I’m starting to get bored!” You manage to let out in a hurry before any tremors come to shake your voice.
Again he simply chuckles at you.
“You will break, my love.” He simply announces, kissing your sweet pussy between each word. “That is an absolute certainty.”
You’ll show him you can maintain control over your own person. You will not break!
But he is right on one point, your pussy does get wetter by the seconds, at you great damn.
You keep your jaws closed shut, froward. He resumes laving at your soft pussy that gets softer and softer as your blood travels south. You feel him spread your pussylips with his fingers to lick your hidden, tender flesh.
You feel your abdominals contracting at his sweet touch, and it didn’t escape him.
“Oh? Are those the first shivers of your undeniable pleasure?” He teases.
“I’m just cold.” You bite back
“Not for long, sweet thing. I will make sure of it.”
As he keeps licking your now dripping pussy you start hearing his purr resonating in the hut. He enjoys himself very much. He loves eating you out as much as you do, if not more. You suddenly feel his tongue entering your wet cavern and start tonguefucking you.
A single moan escapes you before you press your hand on your mouth. His purr drops down to deeper tones, sending shivers through your puffy, wet, walls, raising your hardly refutable pleasure…
“My little bird does not wish to sing for me? It is alright, I will have you crying, Cha’cah.”
And he starts fucking you harshly in retaliation, his tongue waving and grazing your G spot with such ease it is almost comical. His hand comes to flicker and press your clit, puffy with blood. He makes it roll between his fingers, titillates it consciously as he drinks your slick as he would drink water.
Maker those debauched sounds…
How the wet sounds of your little pussy and his grunts sound to your ears… This is highly depraved and debaucherous.
So exciting… Argh! Get a grip of yourself! Do not let him win!
He is… motivated, to say the least. He must have taken your vow of silence as a personnel challenge because he seems determined to have you cum hard and rapidly. He is eating you out with energy and a will you only encountered when you fought him in battle.
Despite your closed mouth, your uncontrollable whimpers can be heard well in this little room and it is the sweetest melody to his ears, only encouraging him to double his efforts. He eats you out enthusiastically, nastily, roughly, abusing your tender flesh with his swollen lips. He continues moaning without any shame, letting you know that he has no qualms enjoying himself to the fullest while you hold on to a childish pride.
Your dripping pussy convulses around his wet, flexible limb as he brushes your gummy spot with his tip expertly, making your pleasure rise more and more until it comes crashing down upon you. Your little cunny clenches painfully around his tongue and you come against his mouth and against your will.
“What a remarkably honest body you have, cheo Cha’cah. Letting me know everything I need to know without a fuss. Guiding me through your true desires so eagerly.”
“You’re full of yourself!” you spit out.
He gently kisses your thighs, licking you soft, plump flesh with a deep moan.
“Abandon your immature act and just enjoy yourself. Why deny yourself like that, little rebel?” He asks curiously
You do not respond like a mutineer.
“Sometimes I do not understand you.” He sighs.
He kisses your pussy reverently, like he gallantly kisses your hand before rising up to free his erection of his constrictive pants. You look away, stubborn, refusing to look at the member that used to give you so many orgasms before.
“You looking away will not impede the inevitable.”
You feel him coat his shaft with your essence, brushing his cock between your slit back and forth, soaking it with your slick. It brushes against your erected, nervous clit and you have to fight another mewl rising in your throat.
“Your body gives me so much pleasure, I am thankful to you, my love.” He lets you know with a tone of secrets, “We should indulge more, sharing such intimate moments is so important to build a healthy relationship. I know our sex life slowed down since we became parents, but I still look at you as a woman first, not only a mother, with all the desires and craving it implies.” He continues.
He’s trying to win you over! To make you lower your defenses! You’ll not surrender for some sugary words, you have more will than that! He sighs lasciviously and unfastens his long hair, letting them frame his handsome face and draping his large shoulders. You gasp at this gorgeous sight.
“I know you think I am trying to sweeten you. I am simply telling my truth.” He brushes his noses in the crook of your neck, caressing your full tummy so tenderly. “Even if you obstinate yourself to deny yourself pleasure for an infantile vagaries, it will not prevent me from doing my best to satisfy you as it is my duty, cheo Cha’cah.” He informs you as a sentence.
You close your eyes shut as he pushes himself inside you, his size making it difficult for your little pussy. You press your lips in a thin line as he splits you in two with his massive member.
“I missed how your little pussy strangles me.” He gasps, deeply satisfied.
He keeps pushing further, pushing your inner flesh apart until you feel his tip brushing your cervix deep, deep inside your most secret place.
You gulp, bracing yourself for what is to come.
“You are so tense, my love. You should relax.” He says tenderly, “There is no need to make the experience uncomfortable for you.”
“I am 8 months pregnant, I do not simply "relax "." You mock.
“A deep and warm orgasm should help you get more comfortable, my sweet. You can count on me.” He keeps offering you sweet words.
He starts moving, with shallow thrusts, taking it easy on your sore body. You breathe deeply through your nose, trying not to focus on the delicious sensations his ridges give you, how wonderfully full you feel with him inside, how right it feels to have your husband like that. A strangled yelp escapes you as he resumes teasing your clit with his hand as he thrusts into you.
“Give me your hand.” He orders softly.
You feel him trail your arm until he reaches your hand and intertwines your fingers together.
He deepens his thrusts, going deeper, slipping out almost entirely leaving just the tip inside and pushes it back in languorously, undulating his hips against yours.
You try so hard to fight back the waves of pleasure, tensing up your muscles under his inquisitive gaze, but he gives you so much, it is so hard to shield yourself completely when he puts so much energy and love in each of his thrusts, forcing you to endure the delight he offers. You feel tears building up behind your eyes.
You hiss as he rocks his hips with a quicker pace, sliding in and out easily thanks to your first orgasm, the waves of pleasure poisoning your veins and nerves ending.
“You are so reactive for someone who refuses pleasure.” He placidly notes, “You can try and hide as much as you want, you cannot lie to me, my love. I know you too well. Your body is an open book to me. Denying it is… useless.” He says, modulating his deep, melodious voice as he knows you prefer.
You shake your head vehemently.
“I experienced your body for years, sweet thing. I know it as well as mine. I studied it carefully, each and every single one of your reactions. I know how to please it, I know how to bring it to the verge of an earth shattering orgasm.”
He is so confident in his capacities to please you, you’ll give him that. He keeps rubbing your clit and you try to escape his sweet touch but he grasps your hips and impales you back on his cock, burying it to the hilt. You whine.
“You will not escape it.” It is as much a promise as it is a threat.
He accelerates his pace again, bullying himself into you without any mercy. Your cunny desperately tries to accommodate his size, clenching pathetically around his girthy shaft.
“Those are the reactions I like.” He says smugly. “Kiss me, cheo Cha’cah.”
He lowers himself to reach your lips but you turn your head away.
“Are you so cold hearted to deny me your lips?”
You grumble and swiftly kiss his cheek.
“Satisfied?” you bare your teeth.
“Thank you. But I hoped for more.”
You purse your lips but let him kiss you, you feel him purring against your mouth. You open your mouth and he enters it with his tongue to dance with yours. He squeezes your hand with his as he deepens the kiss, looming over your body. You growl in the kiss but feel his lips draw in a smile.
So you bite his lips in retaliation.
He licks the little bead of blood away, looking at you with a pleased expression.
“I love when you defy me.” He says lowly, keeping his hard pace, “I love it even more when it is clear you will lose.”
“I am losing nothing!”
“I have the clear memory of making you cum two minutes ago. And you will suffer another defeat in less than three. How does it feel, little rebel? Knowing your greatest efforts go to waste against a superior will.”
“Imperial dog!” You spit.
“Keep that energy up, my love.” He kisses your cheek.
He accentuates his hips action, making you squeal uncontrollably.
“Ca-Careful the baby!” You warn indignant.
“The baby is fine.” He replies with a mocking tone, “In fact, they can sense how good their mother feels. I reckon they must enjoy themself thoroughly with you squirming so desperately under my touch.”
“I… Fuck you!”
He snickers and raises on his knees, forcing your hips up in the air. He digs his fingers in the flesh of your plump hips to keep you in place, doing so he removed all control you had over the action. Now you are truly a victim of his will.
“Such foul language. I better understand Thaishi’s manners.”
He slows down the pace to give a circling motion of his hips to vary the sensations, making sure his girth rubs every sensitive spot in your vagina. You tremble terribly in his hands, like struck by lightning. You bite down your lips terribly to not moan.
To no avail…
“Ah yes, the sweet moans of my muse. It only motivates me to work harder for you.”
He plundges his cock deep, scratching every itch, making you sing against your will. You feel tears rolling on your flushed lips as you try to catch up your breath under such physical exercises.
He leans forward to lick your tears away, the salt tingling on his darted tongue deliciously.
“You are beautiful, my sweet. Crying your pleasure out loud like that.”
Embarrassed, you hide your eyes with one arm, only for him to grip it immediately to take it off.
“No, Cha’cah. You do not get to hide from me.”
“Pl-please finish soon…” You beg.
You have enough of this trial and humiliation, you’re too tired to get this beating. Something snapped in your stomach, begging for him to reach his climax and yours with it.
“Finishing this early? But I feel plenty full of ardor today, I had in mind to keep going for one or two hours more. Just to be sure you orgasmed correctly, I would hate to have you unsatisfied, my love, your enjoyment is my priority.”
You tremble, shaken by spasms, convulsing in pleasure, stiffness reaching all of your limbs as the waves of pleasure incapacitate you as they spread in your veins. You feel your little pussy gaping around his shaft desperately trying to keep him in.
“Okay… You won, I surrender. Please, finish soon..” You say panting, gasping for air at each of his powerful thrust.
“My, my, you are giving up so easily, my dear. But your wish is my command.”
He adjusts his position, and installs a break-necking pace. You’re being pushed against the mattress without mercy and you bite your tongue in the confusion. You cannot help the squeals escaping your pretty mouth while he moans in tandem with your plaints.
Your pussy clenches hard as you come, trying to retain him inside, strangling him just like he loves sending him over the edge. He slows down his pace and comes undone inside.
You’re shaking, crying, getting back from your high as he puts his forehead against yours, caressing your cheek.
“Cha’cah?” He calls in a whisper, “Are you alright?”
You nod, your visage hidden in your hands, catching your breath. He kisses your hands before taking them off your face and pecks your cheek and nose.
“Breath deep, cheo Cha’cah. Easy.”
He holds you tight, cradling your body tenderly.
“There… Breath. Everything is alright.”
You gasp, wiping your tears away.
“Oh Maker…” You whimper.
He brushes his nose with yours, his long hair framing his gorgeous face.
“Everything is fine, you are with me, my love.” He keeps soothing you.
A sigh mixed with a gasp escapes you as you feel your heart calming down in your chest. Thrawn keeps kissing your face tenderly, holding your cheek in his warm palm. He slips out of you, leaving you intolerably empty and slides to the side where he takes you in his arms to hold you close. You bury your face in his neck and breathe in his musk to calm down, his hand comes caressing your hair gently, appeasingly.
“I love you.” He murmurs.
“I love you too… “ You respond, exhausted.
“We should bathe.”
“I'm too tired… “ You complain, nudging against him
“Come on, ch'eo vir. Let me help.”
He rises with 8 months pregnant you in his arms and heads towards the river where he bathes you both conscientiously, laying you against his naked chest, surrounded by fresh water. You doze off, too relaxed to keep your eyes open.
---------------
You were playing with Thaishi when you heard a familiar sound resonate through the air like a loud bang. Immediately, the sky darkens, the sun disappears and a weird silence takes place in the village, everyone looking up.
You raise your head, gulping, and Thaishi points to the large object in the sky.
“Mum, what's that?” she asks, as fascinated as she appears terrified.
Massive and large,  the ISD floats over the village like a dark presage, brining death and fire with it.
“This is…” You start, feeling panic rising, “This is…”
The two headed serpent leave no doubt who’s ISD it is.
They’re here for Thrawn!
You pick up Thaishi in your arms precipitaly, making her yelp in surprise and run to your hut, hugging her tight. When you arrive you see Thrawn passing the doorframe in his white uniform, hair cut and black boot unsoiled.
You almost hit him with your speed, but you stop just in time.
“Thrawn!”
“I know, Cha’cah. Do not worry.”
“But… Where does this uniform come from? Why are they here? Why-”
“I managed to contact them.” He drops the bomb.
You look at him completely dumbfounded, at loss for words.
“What? But… How could you…”
He put his hands on your shoulders to ground you.
“Cha’cah, we are going home.”
You feel like the ground just opened under your feet and would swallow you whole. Your legs give up under you, in shock, but Thrawn catches you and Thaishi expertly.
“(Y/n)! Are you alright?”
“Mom?” Your daughter calls for you in the hands of her father, afraid.
You close your eyes.
You cannot believe it.
The day you feared the most came. You will be separated, torn apart, never to see each other again.
Some villagers came to you when you fell, Thrawn let you in their care, kissing your forehead and heading towards the Chief huts.
When you reopen your eyes, you are in the healer’s hut. You discard the wet fabric she placed on your forehead and go outside.
The ISD is here.
Ominous and threatening.
You reel for some steps before straightening yourself. Here you find Thrawn holding Thaishi, the Chiefs and a woman in an imperial uniform.
Where did he hide this perfectly neat uniform? During all those years he hid it from you, well tidied in a box, awaiting its hour. You suddenly feel a spick of ire in your vein at the sight of that clean white.
Thrawn turns towards you, and a light smile comes lightening his face.
“There she is. Commodore Faro I want you to meet Lady (F/n). My wife.”
Faro slowly bows to you, but something in her eyes displeases you.
She knows who you are.
She doesn’t recognize you as a crew member of Thrawn ships and the only other people present that day were Rebels.
She knows.
She gives a side glance at her Grand Admiral but abstains from any comments.
“Lady (F/n).” She politely but coldly greets.
“Everything is taking care of, Cha’cah.” Thrawn continues, “We will embark everyone on board and exit that planet.”
You turn your head to the chiefs, interrogating them with your eyes.
“We agreed to let your husband temper with the ship if he promised us to take us with you.”
“But.. You’ve been here for a millennia… This is your home… Your planet.”
“We are wanderers at heart, our place is flying through space, not remaining on a single rock.”
You turn back to Thrawn, mouth agape and tears behind the eyes.
“Thrawn… You cannot be serious…”
“Cha’cah.” He cuts you softly, “Our place is not here, our home and duties are away from this planet. It is time for us to go.”
You want to slap him across the face, scream at him, telling him that he will never know the child you bare, that he is killing this family.
“Leave me here with Thaishi.” You just say weakly.
You cannot resume your combat, you cannot fight your husband even if you know you’re in the right, you cannot say goodbye to your children and leave them alone.
“I am not leaving you on this backwater planet, love.” He warns, “We discussed this subject matter and agreed. Thaishi and the baby will be sent to the Ascendancy and live a safe life while we will go back to our responsibilities.”
“How can you say that?” You feel ire rising in your veins.
“We are both warriors. We both know our duties would supplant everything in our life.”
“Thrawn…” You beg.
He caresses your cheek and his thumb swipe one silent tear that rolls on your skin, you sob.
“Those four years have been a blessing. The miracle I stopped hoping for.” He presses his forehead against yours, looking you in the eyes with a sigh, “But the dream must end. It is time now to wake up and advance.”
“Thrawn…” Your voice is no more than a pathetic plea.
“I know, Cha’cah. I will never stop loving you and will cherish those memories I have with you both. But it is time…”
He extends his hand to you with a comforting smile while your image of him gets blurry with tears.
“Come home with me, my love?”

Happy birthday to YOU, Asaka! Hope you'll have a great day! 🥰🖤
Here is your birthday present:
Tumblr media
I think the reason I like Hajime so much is because he represents, through the evolution of his thoughts, his character development and the scenario of the 2nd game’s plot twists (related to Izuru), some ideas I deeply relate to about my relationship to others.
I think his conflicted relationship with Nagito, mixing his fear of him and lack of understanding with some kind of fascination and the sincere desire to get to know him better, creates a frustration coming from all these contradictory feelings that he can’t help but try to put in order and try to explain rationnally (while the others don't get why he tries so hard to put himself in Nagito's shoes). All of this comes from the fact that he deeply knows (this is how i see it, at least) that he isn’t so different of Nagito. Of course he finds his hierarchy placing the ultimates above fucked up and his self-loathing absurd, but he can’t help but feel a closeness to him, even if he can’t understand it at first. But deep down, he finally gets that these feelings that he finds repulsive in Nagito are, in fact, existing in himself. AND in the game’s scenario, it is precisely BECAUSE he finally gets to understand Nagito through his trial, that he’s able to fight Junko and understand himself; why would he have done the Kamukura project this to himself, if he didn’t feel like the ultimates were better than ordinary people, like he wasn’t worthy at all himself, just like Nagito feels ?
This dynamic between them is something I’m experiencing on a daily basis with people around me (sometimes, I feel like some people are monstruous, and then by getting to understand them I get to understand parts of myself I tried to erase in the past. Sometimes it’s the contrary, and I try to shake people’s assumptions and be closer to them, even when they act like I’m a freak, because I see these contradictory feelings in their contradictory actions towards me, and I know that if I gave them theopportunity to understand why I'm like this, we could be at peace with each other). This is also why I love talking about the post-game so much, because I feel like this is a way to imagine a future in which people understand each other better, with all their flaws and fears, with courage <3
This is the reason why Hajime is the best protagonist to me, and why he’s one of the best-written characters in the whole series !
Have the greatest of all the great days Asaka! 🥰🌟💕💕💕
Ahhhhhhh thank you Alcibiadeeee!!! 😭😭😭✨
I didn't expect you would draw based on my post-game drawing! Thank you so much for showing me this beautiful sunrise over a collapsed world, Hajime and the kids, and the adorable Zigzagoon! 💖💖💖 Your art always has a very clear concept and I like that a lot. I am very happy to see such a wonderful scene that suggests that even though the world is in a mess, there is peace in their own way and their future is bright. I am also glad that you included the stuffed bunny that the girl I drew has! 💕 Actually, my choice of the bunny was intentional, because I think bunnies are a very special animal for Class 77-B, and that's why I drew them. I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but you drew such a detailed part that made me very happy! 😊
And your story about why you like Hajime is exactly what I wanted! I really love the way his thinking evolved and grew and the way he approached others, so I really connected with your story, and on the other hand, I found it interesting and fascinating that you feel like you relate to Hajime.
All of this comes from the fact that he deeply knows (this is how i see it, at least) that he isn’t so different of Nagito.
I totally agree! I think he realizes that he and Nagito have a similar sense of value. I think they have some things in common at the core. Nagito's view that "no matter how hard you try, it is useless if you have no talent" is clearly shared by Hajime. If he did not feel that way, he would not have wanted to be a subject of the Kamukura project.
They are somewhat resigned to their lives. Nagito has resigned himself to the life of being driven by his talent, and Hajime has resigned himself to the life of being unable to break out of his mediocrity, no matter how hard he tries. But even with such resignation, they haven't completely lost their desire to make a difference in their lives, as Nagito wondered if he could be an ultimate hope in his last message before his death in chapter 5, and the reason why Hajime accepted to be the subject of the Kamukura Project is that he couldn't give up on having a talent. I think the story of Danganronpa describes "hope" as a heart that never gives up, so I think they actually had hope all along, even though they didn't realize it. Hajime was a person who had kind of given up on life, but because of that, I can relate to him more than someone who has a strong heart to never give up from the beginning, and I was really moved by his growth.
Aah, I feel like I still have more to say but it's getting long so I'll do it another time. It was really nice to hear in depth why you like Hajime! Thank you very much for your wonderful gift! 🫶💕

I've been feeling some type of way about the DMBJ fandom for a while now but never really publicly talked about it for a variety of reasons, mostly because I generally prefer to mind my own business and avoid conflict when possible. But as time goes on, and I come across more and more people who feel the same, or who like I did, ultimately chose to isolate themselves because it's become the only alternative, it makes me feel like it's something that needs to be said in a public space, if only for cathartic reasons, and also for other people to realize they might not be as alone as they think.
I'll preface this by saying that this isn't intended as drama, which I understand comes across a bit hypocritical given the content of this post that's more of a frustrated rant than anything else. But it's also for this reason that I don't expect anyone who's uncomfortable with these kinds of topics to engage with it. This is also not a post meant to say that I'm right, and that anyone who disagrees with my stance is wrong, because no opinion is universally shared nor objectively correct unless backed by factual evidence. That being said, civil discussions around this topic are of course welcome.
I love DMBJ, and I would never discourage anyone from getting into it or joining the fandom. I've been in it for long enough that I can safely say I've not only discovered fantastic characters and stories, but have also met equally wonderful people. However, contrary to a very pervasive misconception that part of the fandom is happy to spread as fact, the DMBJ fandom, like every other fandom, has its share of problems, and is far from being the 100% accepting and unified front some purport it to be.
All of what I'm about to say is entirely my own personal experiences and observations in certain fandom spaces, and as such, isn't meant to be a universal reflection of the fandom as a whole, nor do I pretend to be 100% objective for precisely that reason.
That being said, I think using an example of what I'm getting at is a good place to start.
There's an apparently prevalent fandom opinion that DMBJ canon is a mess of plot holes that makes absolutely no sense. In and of itself, there's nothing inherently wrong with this take, but it does serve as a great segue into illustrating my point. The problem isn't the opinion, but the WAY in which it's treated. It's a very prevalent FANON idea, and while there's nothing wrong with fanon interpretations of things either, it however DOES become a problem when that fanon interpretation is purported to be a universally accepted truth within the fandom as a whole when that most definitely isn't the case. For the record, I personally disagree with this take, and find the books (the main series especially) to be incredibly cohesive in terms of both characterization and plot. The fact a lot of the sequels are unfinished does complicate things and leave some things either unexplained or open-ended, but there's still a consistent cohesion to them despite this, especially in regard to character development and consistency.
But that's beside the actual point. What I'm getting at here is that DMBJ fandom's greatest problem is that for all certain parts of it purport it to be a chill, accepting and fun space, it's also these very same parts of it that are blind to the fact that intentionally or not, they impose what in all reality are niche opinions and effectively shut out anyone who doesn't conform to what they consider a universal truth. As far as the example I used goes, my personal opinion isn't an isolated one, but from the way these more visible parts of the fandom are happy to present it, it may as well be an egregious opinion that doesn't exist and must therefore be silenced.
This is essentially what my general experience has been with parts of the DMBJ fandom. Nothing I've ever seen has ever escalated to the proportions it tends to in most fandoms, that's true. However, I find that presenting the fandom as unified in opinion and preferences is disingenuious at best, and insidious at worst. This also goes for character and ship preferences, though again, the issue at its core isn't about either characters or ships, but rather people's behaviors regarding them. You'll for example see a certain number of people claim that the DMBJ fandom has a tendency to find interest in minor characters, or that everyone in it is a multishipper, or shares the same fixations. Again, there's nothing inherently wrong with any of these preferences. But pushing them as universal statements about the fandom at large is both untrue and in bad faith. And herein lies the heart of the problem.
The problem isn't having these preferences. It isn't talking about or indulging in these preferences in public spaces. It's the shutting out of anyone who has different ones, of people being intentionally ignored by what I've come to perceive as an incredibly cliquey environment, of justifying talking over and excluding people from discussions under the guise of acceptance and open-mindedness, never putting that behavior into question. The problem of the DMBJ fandom is that a loud portion of it has a hard time understanding that not everyone wants to be bombarded with a certain type of content or discourse despite taking no issue with the fact that other people enjoy it, and has a tendency to quietly push people out of their spaces so that they can continue to present what's essentially an isolated opinion among others as a majority one, which ultimately leads to an ironically heavily fractured fandom space.
It's unfortunate that a fandom that presents itself as accepting and open-minded resolves its 'differences' by creating an environment in which they give people no space to exist outside of an openly catered to single-mindedness that's then all the more easily purported as fact. It's frustrating for anyone who exists outside of that circle and feels intentionally ostracized.
My point isn't to say the DMBJ fandom is an awful place that no one should ever engage with. It isn't. I love the people I've met through this fandom, and they've made sticking around for the wild ride of Wu Xie and co's tomb robbing extravaganzas one of the best fandom experiences I've ever had. But I do think it's important to acknowledge that the fandom is far from a perfect one, that no fandom is devoid of problems, and that the DMBJ one has its very real issues that merit being addressed despite some suggesting they don't exist to begin with.

Promt: Wesker forgets about the reader’s birthday.
Pairing: Wesker x F!Reader
Word count: 2K
Type: fluff.
Tumblr media
Wesker placed the samples with care on the table, starting his day as usual. He’s been spending his last few years, stuck in the lab researching all over again in order to achieve the wanted results. Since Uroborus is a high importance plan, he’s very meticulous about his schedule, respecting every minute precisely. Not a minute early, not a minute late. The only thing that he tries to put outside his schedule is you because he doesn’t like limiting the time he spends with his sweetheart. He cares so much about you that over the years he sees you as his equal, so he plans to inject you with the progenitor virus, a weaker strand because he can’t risk killing you. Because of this, he wants to do it on a special day, but the many opportunities that arrived didn’t fit in his schedule. The greatest gift he ever received was the power he got after breaking the confines of humanity, so he wants you to experience the same joy. Wesker kept thinking about it but he would get distracted by his work, so his present would always be in the planning stage. He doesn’t want to do it suddenly, he wants to introduce the idea slowly to you because he respects your boundaries.
Once you earned his respect, Wesker can be a very carrying partner, human even. He knows every little detail about his sweetheart, from her birthday to what she last ate. It can seem creepy when you put it like this, but this is nothing more than a lover who deeply cares about his partner and seeks to make her happy. Wesker is not the greatest at showing it though because of his work life. He has little to no time to show his affection. He still shows you that he is there for you, but not as much as he wants, making him more frustrated. Sometimes when he comes home from work he is so tired he barely sees you, let alone talk with you. He either collapses on the couch or bed and falls asleep as you talk with him because he is just too exhausted to carry the conversation. This doesn’t sit right with him because he gives all of his attention and energy to his work and doesn’t have any left for the only person that matters to him, making him wonder if it’s all worth it.
The relationship didn’t have a great start, since you expected Albert to be with you at least 8 hours a day but you’re lucky if you catch him once a week. He’s not the type to express himself and constantly expects others to read his mind, so you two would end up fighting. You have mistaken the lack of presence as rudeness and indifference, basing your reasoning on all the rumors you heard until you realized they were all stupid. Wesker proved to be the contrary, talking so nicely to you and not belittling you at all even if you piss him off. The amount of respect this man offered you even from the beginning is astonishing. He was so transparent with you and with all he does and he had so much patience until you understood. He was just a working man with probably burnout syndrome, so you took the responsibility to take care of him.
His phone buzzed since he started his work. Calls, messages, idiots without brains, as he calls them, needed help doing their job. When he had enough he picked up his phone and started to scroll down through notifications. Some of these people make him curse like a sailor, especially the one who texted him the most. As useful as Excella is in helping with his projects, as annoying she can be. Hundreds of messages and calls, some related to work some not. A particular question caught his attention.
“Do you think y/n would like this?” A picture of a purse was attached. Excella can’t stand you for obvious reasons, but out of respect for Albert, she tries to be friends with you. Still, why would Excella buy something for you out of the blue?
“Is something special today?” He thought.
The horrifying grimace when the realization hit cannot be described. Today is indeed a special day, your birthday. To be honest, he doesn’t care about birthdays. He despises them because they are a reminder of our mortality, but he knows how much you care about such occasions. Every year you got him something even if he insisted not to buy anything for him. Seeing you care and how much you enjoy receiving gifts he changed his mindset. Usually, he would give you something common, just as others would, but then he began to put more effort until there wasn’t anything material in this world to give. That’s how the progenitor virus gift arises in his head. However, he’s been so caught up with his research on Uroborus that he completely forgot to make the preparations. You don’t feel the days pass when you’re stuck in a lab all the time. He puts the phone aside, grabs his coat, and rushes out of the building ignoring the people that are trying to talk with him. If not the virus, he will have to find something common.
He’s not a fan of last minutes gifts but he has no choice. The guilt crushed him further as he remember he hasn’t talked with you all day. The ride to the jewels store felt like ages, even if it was relatively close. Luck was on his side since he found the store open.
None of the jewelry in front of him caught his attention because it wasn’t something he hopes of giving you. He already buried you in gold. You have the finest, unique, and expensive jewels in the world. He wouldn’t have been injected you in a lab of course. He wanted a special place for your rebirth. All of his ideas were put on paper, but probably got lost in the pile of reports. All he wanted was to see you smile on the most important day of your life, perhaps looking at him with the same eyes as his. He wanted to make you feel as you were the center of his universe, his queen, but he failed miserably. Maybe if he had gotten any outstanding results today he wouldn’t be so upset, but it was just another ordinary day. The lady tried talking with him but he was lost in his thoughts. Knowing it’s late and that you’re waiting for him, he bought a pearl necklace and left in hurry. On his way home he tried thinking of what to say, what excuse would be the best but he concluded that all of them were outdated.
Before opening the door, he hid the small package in the inner pocket of his coat. That lady was in hurry to close the store and didn't want to wrap the necklace if gift wrap. Wesker will remember that.
“I’m home!” He shouted once he entered. He may screw up, but he is not a man who runs away from conflict or a man who doesn’t own his mistakes.
“I thought you’d spend the night in your lab.” She said while giving him a peck on his cheek. “You need a vacation dear, you’ll be worn out before your time”
You were so carrying with him, so kind, but he couldn’t enjoy it. He didn’t deserve your kindness.
“There is something I need to tell you.”
“About?” You were starting to get worried. He left in hurry this morning and you didn’t hear anything from him all day. Excella told you briefly about him, but she talked more about the purse she bought for you which was more for her taste, not yours. Judging by his face you realized he had something on his mind, but you would never think it was because he forgot about your birthday. You expected him to talk about an outbreak rather than your forgotten birthday. To your surprise, he started apologizing.
“I was so caught up in my work I-“ he considers apologies a waste of time since we could do better things with our mortality and limited time, but for a reason, humans care about these.
“It’s alright my love.” You caress his face as a reassuring sign. “I understand.” You’re not upset at him. He genuinely cares about you and you can’t judge him, not after all the good things he has done for you. And besides, you know he doesn’t fully mean it, but you appreciate that he still does it for the sake of your feelings.
You began to caress his cheeks, to place small kisses all over his face. You see him rarely so you make sure to show him how much you love him as well. You hug him and he instantly hugged you back. After a while, you broke the hug and lead him to the couch so you can talk about each other’s day. He’s thankful you both moved on.
Eventually, you two got more comfortable. You let all your weight fall over his body as his strong arms were wrapped around your torso. His big hands were caressing your back while you found your peace in that small, almost suffocating, clasp. You almost fell asleep when a gentle squeeze woke you.
“I almost forgot.” He said, almost whispering, before handing you your gift. “It’s not what I had planned, but I hope you’ll find it enjoyable.”
Hazily, you took the small box Albert handled to you. It was a normal, jewelry box with the logo of the store on it. Inside there was a beautiful, shiny pearl necklace. Your delicate fingers touched the pearls with care, feeling their gritty texture and small bumps here and there. It weighs heavy in your hands. You fell in love instantly with the accessory. Seeing how happy you are, Albert offered to put it at your neck. Its elegance enhanced your natural beauty. It looks like it was made solely for you, like an extension of your body.
“I bet it was a lot.” You said with a somehow sorrow in your voice. You don’t want Albert to spend heavy money on you, because it’s his presence that you enjoy and value the most.
“Don’t worry about it, I like spending money on you.” And it was true, he loves dressing you in the most expensive clothing to flatter your body. You’re a goddess to him. Not to mention it strokes his ego to know that he’s able to provide such beautiful things to you. “At least this is what I can do.”
“And it’s perfect this way.” You can see him relax a little.
“I’ll make it up to you, I just need some time.” Time, mortality, death. Once again he was reminded of his plan that was supposed to fix humanity's greatest flaw, and his expression suddenly changed. That didn’t get past Y/N’s attention.
“Albert sweetheart, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing, some problems I need to solve.”
“Are they urgent?”
“Yes, very.”
“I’m sure they can wait until tomorrow.”
He scanned your body carefully. You weren’t getting any younger. Time left its mark on you. Not in an unpleasant way, but still noticeable.
“There something I need to tell you.” He said while sitting on the edge of the bed, watching you how you admire your new necklace. In the lights of the vanity mirror the pearls shine brighter, being more appealing than before making it impossible to take your eyes off them.
“What is it?” You said while gazing at your own reflection.
He choose his words carefully, but no matter how he put them, it could scare you. It’s not the time or the place. He doesn’t want to ruin your happiness. His actual surprise might not sit well with you, but it’s not your choice after all. If he considers it the best option for you he will do it regardless of your opinion. Still, this day came out better than he expected.
“Maybe tomorrow.”

Just because capitalism is bad doesn't make rioting a good or effective means of change.
As much as I hate cops I feel like it pretty much proves my point to START with the article in the cop magazine about how the Rodney King riots changed policing in LA:
Shortly after the riot, Chief Willie Williams was sworn in as the first outside police chief in 45 years. The voters created a new system where the chief could serve only a five-year term, renewable once at the city's option. On two occasions so far, the city has sent the chief packing after five years.
(Police Mag April 2012)
Here’s Anaheim City Councilman Stephen Fassell talking about changes after riots in Anaheim due to police shooting people:
We now have a representative government that we did not have before. We now have a city government that listens more. We’re only six or seven months into this, so we still have to learn our way around. Overall, the city is taking a renewed interest in that neighborhood (Anna Drive) and others. Neighborhoods, in general, have higher visibility in the eyes of the city government from one end to another.
(OC Register, July 2017)
Here’s some historians talking to Vox about rioting:
The 1960s unrest, for example, led to the Kerner Commission, which reviewed the cause of the uprisings and pushed reforms in local police departments. The changes to police ended up taking various forms: more active hiring of minority police officers, civilian review boards of cases in which police use force, and residency requirements that force officers to live in the communities they police."
This is one of the greatest ironies. People would say that this kind of level of upheaval in the streets and this kind of chaos in the streets is counterproductive," Thompson said. "The fact of the matter is that it was after every major city in the urban north exploded in the 1960s that we get the first massive probe into what was going on — known as the Kerner Commission."
(Vox, September 2016)
This is from an abstract of a study done on the 1992 LA riots
Contrary to some expectations from the academic literature and the popular press, we find that the riot caused a marked liberal shift in policy support at the polls. Investigating the sources of this shift, we find that it was likely the result of increased mobilization of both African American and white voters. Remarkably, this mobilization endures over a decade later.
(American Political Science Review, 2019)
There’s a whole-ass article about this in Jacobin this week
Even the case of the 1960s is more complicated than the liberal story about scared white Nixon voters suggests. For one thing, there is substantial evidence that the riots led to higher government expenditures in the deprived cities where they erupted. James W. Button’s pathbreaking 1978 book Black Violence documented the ways the riots forced policymakers to pay attention to the effects of their policies on the urban poor, a group they had been happy to neglect previously. At a time when many social scientists viewed even protest movements as a kind of mass psychosis, Button showed that riots were a rational response to being ignored. Later research showed that riots could increase welfare expenditures, even in areas where white racism was strongest. In other words, even if riots pushed white public opinion in a conservative direction, they also brought important benefits to the areas where they occurred.
(Jacobin, June 2020)
And here is the full 17-page PDF of an article published by the American Political Science Association in their journal, I’m linking to the whole thing but I’m only going to reproduce the conclusion here:
We focus on violent protest as a political tool for a low-status group in the United States. While other scholarship has examined other forms of political action and asked if it is efficacious for racial minorities and other low-status groups, the scholarly literature has largely failed to ask whether rioting is a useful tool for building policy support, even though, from the perspective of the rioters, this question is paramount. Here we show that violent political protest can spur political participation among people who share an identity with the rioters.
Although it often seems extreme from the American perspective, political violence is not isolated to particular regions or eras and is still common in many parts of the world. Moreover, the implicit threat of violence underlies the relationship between governments and citizens in many places. As the use of violence continues to be an active feature of our political system, our findings and approach may help future scholars better understand this important topic.
(American Political Science Review, June 2019)
And also just because riots may or may not be politically expedient doesn’t prevent them.
I want to talk for a second about the concept of a state monopoly on violence.
The deal is that in most states (here meaning countries or governments, not US States) the State (or government) is the only entity that is allowed to be violent. You’re not allowed to break down your neighbor’s door, your partner isn’t allowed to hit you, you’re not allowed to smash your boss’s windshield. The state and its agents are the only things allowed to be violent and their violence is supposed to be used to curtail societal violence. The cops outnumber your partner and have the legal power to lock them in a cage if your partner hits you, this is in theory supposed to prevent your partner from hitting you. Fear of state violence is supposed to act as a deterrent to crime and interpersonal violence.
BUT there are supposed to be rules. The state is the only one allowed to be violent but they’re not allowed to be wantonly, willfully violent. The state doesn’t get to hit you with no evidence of a crime, the cops aren’t supposed to smash in your windshield, sheriffs aren’t supposed to break down your door if you haven’t committed a crime that warrants a violent response from the state.
The state isn’t holding up its end of the bargain.
The state has lost its right to a monopoly on violence.
Yes, the violence is unfortunate. Yes, the violence is not ideal. No, I’m not applauding when people set fire to local businesses.
I am maybe applauding a little when they set fire to a massive corporation that has utilized the violence of the state against citizens while working hard to protect itself against workers (Target) and I’m applauding the destruction of symbols of inequality and institutionalized racism (Rodeo Drive in LA and the Market House in NC and all the statues of racists on this list) and I’ma be real here, I kind of always think police stations should be torn down brick by brick or forcibly converted into libraries or low income housing.
So while the violence is not ideal I don’t think that it’s illegitimate. The state has lost its right to a monopoly on violence and a violent response is certainly one way to make that point.
But here’s the other thing:
All these riots started with peaceful protests against state violence. There are thousands of photos and videos of peaceful protestors peacefully protesting and having speeches and asking for change.
And there are hundreds of videos and photos of cops launching tear gas and rubber bullets at these peaceful protestors. There is a staggering amount of evidence that in city after city police escalated tensions and introduced violence to peaceful protests.
(and please let’s remember: all of this started in response to an act of police violence. These riots didn’t fall out of a clear blue sky, they are a direct reaction to four police officers killing a man by kneeling on his neck for eight minutes while he begged for his mother and his life. That is, in my opinion, something completely worth burning down a police station over even if that act never accomplishes anything further than burning down that police station)

I Just Wanna Dance With You (G)
The Prom AU
Firebreathing Simon (G)
Make A Wish (G)
G/T+
The Best Laid Plans of Magazines and Men (T)
Helping Baz learn to flirt with Simon in a healthy way seemed like a brilliant idea. Unfortunately, Dev and Niall's plans and their friend's capabilities are a bit of a mismatch. 'A bit' being an egregious understatement. Hilarity, predictably, ensues.
Craziest Season (T)
Baz is bringing Simon home for Christmas this year, so he can finally meet his family. The catch? Baz is not out to any of them yet, contrary to what Simon originally believed. They end up pretending to be just roommates, but it's fine, really. It's only for five days. What can possibly go wrong in only five days? (Everything, apparently.)
When We Fight We Fight Like Lions (But Then We Love and Feel the Truth) (T)
Simon and Baz are secret agents, working for W.A.T.F.O.R.D (the Worldwide Agency for Threat Flagging Operations, Reconnaissance and Defence) They have to go on their biggest mission yet, to infiltrate a top-secret weapons convention. The only problem is, they have to do it under the cover of a newly-wed couple...
The One My Soul Loves (T)
The “Worst Chosen One” has a gift for technology. What if that had been encouraged instead? This time, he and Penny stop the Humdrum before eighth year. Simon finally has time for his dream project: a soulmate finder app. Others find love, but Simon’s match won’t download the app. Can he find peace with this? Why is Baz acting strange? What will happen when an unhappy user curses Simon, driving up the stakes to find his soulmate?
Classroom Politics (T)
At twenty-five, Simon Snow’s life is finally on the up. He’s got his magic back, people listen to him, and he can draw the Sword of Mages. A lot of people think he should lead the Coven. But not everyone. The Old Families still see Simon as their enemy and they’re quite willing to quote obscure magickal law to stop him ascending to Mage. Simon’s never backed down from a challenge, though, or let anyone stop him doing what he needs to do. He’s not starting now. Even if it means going back to school.
However Souls Are Made (Ours Are the Same) (T)
Fiona wants to come out and shock her parents, so she enlists Ebb to help. Ebb agrees to fake-date Fiona for the hols—they're best friends, aren't they? She can help Fiona out a bit. Except Ebb has been half in love for years and Fiona is plotting, as is the Pitch way.
Why We're No Longer Allowed to Do Boardgame Nights (T)
After a disaster on the night of 2 February 2019, I have decided to conduct a report to look into a case that ended horribly, after starting as a simple boardgame night. This report is constructed entirely of witness statements. Let’s begin. (Aka, The Gang decide to have a night of Monopoly, Twister and other such things, and it goes tits up)
The Kind of Love I Want (G)
An awkward conversation between Simon and Agatha leads to new revelations and a friendship reborn.
Happier Memories (G)
In which Simon decides to plan, and Baz decides to do something impulsive.
Here, Kitty-Kitty... (G)
Simon adopts a cat. Baz pretends to hate him. It's probably safer for everyone this way...
In the Middle (T)
Simon should be overjoyed at his Penelope's engagement, the second of his sisters to be so fortunate, but all he can think about is Mr Grimm-Pitch. He fears he has ruined the greatest chance of happiness he could ever have hoped for.
Today Is Tomorrow (T)
Simon Snow's having the worst day of his life... over and over and over again.
Mirror, Mirror (T)
For all the Mage's claims that Simon Snow was the World of Mages' prophesied savior, the Humdrum certainly wasn't the only danger their world faced and Simon certainly wouldn't save the world alone.
The Coolest Part (By Far) (G)
When Penny leaves for a study trip, Simon and Baz are left all alone. And who can blame them for getting a kitten? In their defense, they were left unsupervised.
Hallmark Presents: Amid the Winter's Snow (T)
Big city businessman Baz Pitch just wants to get the promotion he's been gunning for. When he travels to his quaint hometown for Christmas, he (literally) runs into the most handsome man he's ever seen and ruins his day. Thus begins the animosity of a lifetime as the town prepares for the annual Christmas Eve Ball. Baz never asked for love. And he definitely never asked to discover the True Meaning of Christmas.
How I Find Myself Without You (T)
At a dinner party with friends, Penny, Shepard, and Agatha come clean about their relationship...and about where Agatha's been living all this time.
If You Wanna Be My Lover (T)
It's the week before graduation, and former roommates Simon and Baz run into each other at a particularly lively karaoke night. In between terrible renditions of "Brown-Eyed Girl" and "Mr. Brightside," they just might begin to realize what it is that they really really want.
NSFW FICS BELOW:
So Close, We've Always Been (E)
Simon Snow has worked in security for most of his life, having dealt with some of the most difficult clients. None has come as close to being as frustrating as Tyrannus Basilton Grimm-Pitch. The man is stuck-up, arrogant, and a complete arsehole. He's rude, careless, and Simon really should have quit months ago. Until there's something more that keeps him by Baz's side... Namely him being the best shag Simon's ever had. He may insist that the nights with Baz mean nothing, but not even he can prevent the feelings that start to flicker beneath the sheets.
Hard to Get (M)
Dev needs a favour. Baz agrees despite his better judgment. Because it really wouldn't matter to anyone, especially not to Simon Snow Salisbury. Or would it?
Kiss Him, Then Go. (E)
Tomorrow morning, Simon Snow will face his lifelong nemesis on the battlefield. But tonight, he sneaks into the Pitch family compound, and seeks out his former roommate.
Feed Me I Live (Drink I Die) (M)
Off the sofa, out of the flat. That's Baz's only goal when he brings Simon along with him to a house Fiona discovered on her vampire hunt across the country. There was only supposed to be books there. Baz knows books. Simon knows how hungry creatures grow.
Midlife Crisis (E)
Following his midlife crisis, Baz finds himself in the middle of the countryside. It’s plenty annoying as it is, without the trouble of him meeting the local constable Simon Snow, whom he somehow finds attractive. But that is only due to the bloody fresh air, right? Not in one hundred years would Baz fall for someone like him.

ALEC WEEK - ALEC ANGST
Tumblr media
“I got this one,” Alec yelled over his shoulder and ran after the demon.
Being the Consul involved a lot of desk work. While Alec did appreciate getting to stay at home with Magnus and the kids…
Well, he was a Shadowhunter after all.
He had kind of missed this. The patrols. The adrenaline.
Most of all, fighting with Jace.
So, when Jace had asked him to join him on patrol, Alec had jumped on the opportunity.
But now of course he was regretting it a little bit.
When Alec had said he wanted to kick some demon ass, he had been hoping for a dozen at most.
Not this.
They had fought almost double that so far and there was many more on the way.
Jace used to call himself a chick-magnet long time ago. But in actuality, his parabatai was a demon-magnet.
Wherever Jace went, they just seemed to hang out in hoards.
They had strategized to find the greator demon that was sending out the little minions. Alec had followed one while Jace followed another. It got darker and darker with every step until Alec found himself drowning in the night. Maybe he had wondered into a cave or something.
He quickly activated his night vision rune. But it didn’t help.
This wasn’t a cave. This was magic. Demonic magic.
“Alec!” he heard Jace yell. “Can you see anything?”
“No!” Alec yelled back.
Jace sounded like he was both close and miles away.
“This is some sort of trick,” Alec said.
“Yeah, no shit,” Jace yelled back. “Let’s get out of here.”
It was then Alec heard a low chuckle.
There was something eerily familiar about it. It sounded like someone he recognized – almost.
They were still plunged in darkness, but somehow Alec noticed a figure emerge. He pointed his bow at the man.
It looked like a man. Tall. Lean. Well built. Strong.
Oh god. Surely not another prince of hell. Haven’t they had enough of those things?
The closer it got, the faster Alec’s heart started to beat.
He knew he should run. But he didn’t.
The presence felt both like a threat and an ally at the same time.
Alec didn't want to hesitate any longer. He let the arrow fly.
The figure pulled out a bow out of nowhere and let his own arrow fly. It was like watching lightening. The figure’s arrow clashed with his own and burst into dust.
“Nice shot,” the figure said as it approached him. “Next time don’t hesitate so much. It can get you killed.”
“Jace!” Alec shouted.
But there was no response.
“Who are you?” Alec yelled at the figure.
He didn’t know why we was yelling. But it seemed like the right thing to do. His shirt was soaking in sweat, his fingers trembling slightly.
“It’s me,” the voice said.
As the figure closer, a small gasp escaped Alec’s mouth. He would recognize the figure anywhere.
Even in the depths of such darkness.
“Or should I say, it’s you.”
Alec took a step back.
It was him.
It was Alec. In shadowhunter gear. His hair out of place. His bow and quiver hanging on his side.
It was Alec and it wasn’t.
Despite all the similarities, Alec knew it wasn’t him.
This one seemed…empty.
Or full.
He didn’t know.
But what gave him away was his fingers - And the lack of his favorite and only piece of jewelry.
There was no wedding band.
“Stay back, you son of a bitch,” Alec didn’t hesitate this time.
“Is that anyway to talk about our mother?” other Alec chuckled.
“This is some sort of demonic trick,” Alec said, mostly to himself.
“Duh,” Other Alec rolled his eyes, the gesture intimately familiar.
Alec let another arrow fly but again – he just wasn’t fast enough.
It was almost as if the Other Alec knew what he was going to do.
“Of course, I know what you’re going to do,” Other Alec said. “I’m you, aren’t I?”
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
“I know what you’re thinking too,” Other Alec pointed out. “Right now, you’re thinking if Jace is okay.”
Alec held up his bow again even though it was pointless.
“He is okay,” Other Alec waved him off. “He has his own nightmare to deal with.”
Nightmares.
Baku.
“You’re Baku,” Alec said, feeling slightly triumphant. “Eater of dreams. Greator Demon of Nightmares.”
“Well, technically, I’m Alec Lightwood,” the demon shrugged. “Consul in Exile.”
“Alec Lightwood-Bane,” he corrected out of habit.
“Of course,” Other Alec put up his hands, his bare fingers making him more and more worried.
“What is this supposed to be?” Alec demanded. “A nightmare? I’m not scared of you.”
“Aren’t you?” Other Alec cocked his head. “You are your greatest fear, Alec.”
“Bullshit,” Alec spit. “I’m not afraid of myself. Not anymore.”
“Are we sure about that?” Other Alec asked again.
“Yes,” Alec snapped. “I can’t hurt myself anymore.”
“Well,” Other Alec shrugged. “You can still hurt others.”
Alec stared.
It was like the demon had shot him with an arrow. Right in the chest.
“I know you, remember?” Other Alec grinned. “I’ve seen your dreams. Your nightmares.”
“You know nothing!” Alec yelled and let another arrow fly.
Useless. Other Alec dodged it effortlessly.
“How many people should keep getting hurt, Alec?” his own voiced asked himself. “How many people should get hurt because of your incomptency?”
His throat felt dry. His head ached.
He heard the questions from Other Alec who was in front of him.
But he heard them echo inside his head too. Like he was thinking these thoughts right now.
As if he had been thinking them forever.
“I’m not incompetent!” Alec said through gritted teeth.
“Say that to Max,” Other Alec sneered.
Alec’s heart clenched.
“Or Dad,” Other Alec whispered.
And then it broke.
“I-I tried,” Alec stammered. “I tried to save them.”
“You weren’t even there,” Other Alec accused.
“Stop it!” Alec let another arrow fly.
Nothing.
“You know, it’s ironic that they named you Alexander,” Other Alec chuckled. “When have you ever protected anyone? All you’ve done is hurt people.”
“Shut up!” Alec yelled.
“You tried to hurt Clary because you were angry and jealous. You did hurt Magnus because you were angry and jealous. You tried to kill Camille. You did kill Meliorn. So, who’s next?”
“I’ve changed,” Alec argued, he didn’t know why. “I’ve grown.”
“Growing into a sorry excuse of a man,” the demon laughed. “Now they’ve made you Consul. What a great opportunity to let your entire race down!”
“I won’t!” Alec yelled, even though he had had already had nightmares about this very thing. “I won’t let them down. They chose me!”
“Oh please,” Other Alec rolled his eyes. “No one would have even considered you if it wasn’t for Jace. He felt sorry for you because you never get the spotlight. And everyone who voted for you did it because they felt sorry for you because you lost dad. It was a pity vote.”
“Get out of my head!” Alec screamed. “You don’t know me. You don’t know anything.”
“On contrary,” Other Alec grinned. “I know you better than anyone.”
“Bullshit,” Alec said again.
“I’m your greatest fear, Alec,” the other man said.
“Because your cocky and rude?” Alec demanded, gaining his confidence back. “I don’t think so.”
“Because of this,” Other Alec raised his empty hand.
Alec swallowed.
“I would never remove my ring!” he said, his voice hoarse. “Never.”
“Aw,” Other Alec said. “Not even if Magnus asked you to give it back?”
The confidence that was slowly building inside him felt apart like a wave crashing into land.
“That’s right,” the man said. “He took it back. He took rafe. He left.”
“Magnus would never,” Alec said, clutching his own wedding ring.
The other Alec just grinned.
“Rafe,” Alec said suddenly. “You said he took Rafe. What happened to Max?”
Stop it. This isn’t real! But Alec couldn’t listen to that voice. Just the one before him.
“That name is cursed,” Other Alec said sadly. “Or maybe it’s just you. You’re not good enough to protect anyone.”
“Max is fine,” Alec told himself. “Max is okay. He is in the institute.”
“Not for long,” the Other Alec said in a sing song voice. “You will get him killed too. He will die. Alone and afraid. Just like your brother.”
Alec leaped at himself, but the figure simply disappeared and appeared in a different spot.
“Touched a nerve, huh?” Other Alec chuckled. “I wonder why.”
“Shut. The. Fuck. Up.” Alec let arrow after arrow fly.
Nothing.
“Useless,” Other Alec chuckled. “Don’t know why I’m surprised.”
“You will not touch my family!” Alec pointed an arrow. He’d stab the fucking thing to death if he had to. “Do you hear me?”
“I would never!” Other Alec sounded offended. “But can’t say the same for you though.”
“I will never hurt my family,” Alec replied, his voice getting lower and lower.
“You already have,” Other Alec pointed out. “Giving up immortality? Wow. What a slap in the face for Magnus. You know he could have had anyone, right?”
“We made the decision together!” Alec yelled. “Magnus wanted this too!”
“Of course he did, you selfish prick!” Other Alec yelled back. “He did because you did! It’s what you wanted. Because of your precious parabatai.”
“But J-Jace-” Alec stammered.
“You know,” Other Alec’s voice turned into a husky whisper, like he was sharing a secret. “Magnus knows. He has always known you would choose Jace over him.”
“This is just a dream,” Alec whispered to himself desperately. “Just a dream.”
“How about what happened in Thule?” Other Alec asked. “Was that just a dream too?”
Alec gasped.
“Never thought you’d have it in you,” Other Alec whistled. “You’re savage.”
“It wasn’t me!” Alec yelled.
“Wasn’t it?” the other man shrugged.
“All this talk about loving one man and changing the world for him and yet you killed him him with your own hands,” Other Alec shook his head in disappointment. “Magnus deserved better.”
“Don’t talk about Magnus like you know him!” Alec snapped.
“Oh fine. But I do know you, Alec Lightwood,” Other Alec moved closer. “I know your future. You might keep him happy now. But you will be his suffering. You will be his Bane.”
Images of Magnus flashed before his eyes. Magnus coping with his loss. Magnus not coping so well.
“Please,” Alec almost begged. “What do you want from me?”
“Nothing at all,” the figure moved back. “I just wanted to talk.”
“You’re not gonna kill me?” Alec asked.
“What’s the fun in that?” Other Alec asked. “I’d rather keep you alive and watch you suffer.
“Get out,” Alec ordered, even though he knew he had no power.
“So sensitive,” Other Alec chuckled. “Fine. I’ll go for now. You better watch out, Alec Lightwood. Bad things are coming.”
“You stay away from, Magnus!” Alec yelled.
“I could say the same to you,” Other Alec pouted. “Leave him. For his sake. For the sake of your childr-.”
“If you touch my kids-”
“I won’t,” Other Alec raised his hands. “But can’t say the same about their grandfather however.”
“Stay out of my head,” Alec hissed.
“No promises,” the demon of nightmares winked.
Alec felt the darkness slowly dissipate. His heartbeat getting stronger.
The shivers on his arms were just going down when he heard the voice in ear one last time.
“Oh, one last thing,” his own voice whispered. “Give my regards to Izzy.”
Alec’s body shuddered at that and he fell on his knees.
“Hey. Hey. Hey,” Jace was already by his side. “You okay?”
Alec just nodded, still trying to get back to reality.
“Dude, I’d take an army of raveners over this any day,” Jace said, looking rattled in a long time. “This shit was creepy as hell.”
“What did you see?” Alec asked.
“Some psycho version of myself. He kept talking about killing Clary,” Jace laughed, even though Alec sensed the nervousness in his voice. “As if that’s ever gonna happen.”
Alec nodded and slowly got up.
“What did you see?” Jace asked.
Alec thought of Other Alec.
The one without the ring. The one he knew would haunt his dreams every night from now on.
“Spiders,” he said. “Just stupid spiders.”

Maybe “you’re my favorite” for Sebagni? 🖤
so, thinking about this, i wanted fluff, but my brain hit me with character death and grief and shit (but not agni. never agni.) with like. so little sebagni here. so. if i wrote a short fic about this it'd be fairly simple:
(one rambly semi-narrated idea with bad dialogue, coming right up!)
Imagine one of those "everything goes smoothly contrary to the intense and unbearable pain of canon" AUs. Sebastian still ends up eating our favourite blue boy's soul, but their relationship was just overall better because this version of Seb is not as much of a dick. The secret twin drama resolves itself WITH NO DEATHS and everyone lives a nice little life, vengeance is achieved, contracts are fulfilled, souls are consumed, all that good stuff.
Even years later, Sebastian keeps his current name and appearance ("Just for a moment," he probably says, "I liked that one, so there's no need to leave it behind, yet.") and settles down with the greatest man and softest husband, Agni, in the cliché little house everyone imagines when they think of calm, happy days, away from the troubles of a conflicted life. They're the grossly smitten couple that never moves past the honeymoon phase, even though their version of it is not endless passion, but more of a consistent, certain and reliable kind of love. Overall adorable, as these two are.
Their daily life is all the nice shit you could ever imagine. Soma visits on (most) weekends, they get to be annoying parents with him, and it's great. Really. Even though it does, sometimes, remind Sebastian of another young boy he had gotten used to caring for, and of how empty the house can feel, and of how much he misses days that were less peaceful, less pleasant, and other things he can't find the words for because he never bothered to think about it when the brat was still alive. Because yes, all of this is nice, but grief isn't something that ever goes away when you're not even used to loving things enough to miss them when they're gone.
(also i love making characters suffer in ways they cannot ever fix. i'm mean like that.)
So the routine has one more step. Regular visits to the Phantomhive manor, and to the neat little stone in what i assume would be a backyard-turned-graveyard (or is it cemetary... i do not know), become a thing.
(and this is where we get ridiculously dramatic and mostly one-sided dialogue! agni is my fave but i never let him say a word istg, my man's a dearly beloved plot device)
During one particular visit, Agni notices that his trash demon's eyes simply won't leave the building, rather than the gravestone, which is unusual. (or as unusual as it can be, considering that there's no real habit here, since the only thing these visits have in common is that they're definitely not fun! like, not fun at all. agni's out there being a supportive husband but this is depressing as fuck)
(anyway basically he's like, "what's up" and seb is like *dramatic pause* bc he's just Like That and eventually he actually opens his damn mouth)
"Human life is so ridiculously fragile," he starts, and his tone is so casual it makes it sound like a boring scientific fact that has no incidence on actual people's lives, "I should know better than to let it affect me. Yet so many of them have. And most of them belong, or belonged in that manor."
"Most of them?"
"Not all of them, obviously. Don't you know?"
(and here we would have some comment about seb's completely ridiculous tendency to be the sassiest little bitch at the worst possible times, and about how that cheeky little "don't you know?" is not as ckeey as it should be, actually, and agni thinks he kind of looks like he's about to turn into a sobbing mess right then and there, even though he knows demons can't cry, but before he gets to voice any of that concern, seb decides to hit him with more dramatic dialogue.)
"You're my favourite. And I think you will always hold that title, as a boring old man, or as worthlessly precious ashes on a shelf," he rushes through some of the words, taken by an uncharacteristic agitation, hands held out in front of him in some meaningless gesture, "and even just as you, right now, listening to me like you always do, because for some odd reason you still love me."
"And I'll love you forever."
It's all Agni says, because sometimes people only need someone to listen and to remind them of simple things to soothe complex pains.
(he's a saint and i love him)
"I don't doubt that you will."
(and seb will definitely love his sweet husband because that man. that man. and he's the only person he hasn't failed to care for, have a nice day)

Heartbreak.
It's something you've thought about, in theory. You've wondered how it feels to be heartbroken, especially when you were younger, when almost everything was of interest to your curious brain. Could a heart break? What exactly did that mean?
Mr Yang's novels were your first introduction to characters who'd gone through that pain. His books had described it as a perpetual feeling of hurt, one which a person would never get over. You wondered if it was even possible to experience pain like that. Pain so bad you felt your heart shattering.
You still remembered that day you thought about it properly for the first time.
***
You shut your book and looked over at Minho, who had been cloudgazing as he waited for you to finish it. Days like this were common. Minho would get you a new book every week, and the two of you would go to the lake and laze around in the sun. You often worried that Minho would find it boring to sit next to you while you read, having nothing to do. On the contrary, he was quite content with the way things were. He liked how warm the grass felt against his skin, and how calming the sounds of rippling water were as he rested his head against Aeracus’s side.
"Wow. That definitely didn't end on a good note." You shook your head, letting out a sigh and laying back.
Minho glanced up at you, sitting up slightly. "You finished it? So soon?"
"Mhm. I got a little too invested in the story."
"Ah. If I'd known you would read it this fast, I would have borrowed more than one from him."
"It's okay, I can wait a few days.' You say, your tone reassuring as you placed Mr Yang's precious book next to you on the grass, carefully. The man put great care into binding and writing his books, all by hand with no one to assist him. You didn’t want to be the one to soil his hard work.
"Good, cause I'm not going back there so soon. There's three girls who have basically set up camp outside Mr Yang's to catch a glimpse of me."
You rolled your eyes, playfully shoving him. "You act like you're a celebrity or something. We get it, you have a lot of fangirls."
"And fanboys. Some of them are quite cute actually. Just last week a dude proposed to me."
"No way. He proposed?"
"Yeah." He let out a low chuckle. "I think I recognized him from the docks. Seen him once or twice, but I've never said a word to him. I felt bad though, he was actually pretty."
"You should have said yes." You pouted, holding back a giggle. "I've always wanted to be maid of honor at a wedding."
Minho shook his head, sitting up and scooting over. Grabbing your waist, he pulled you into him, so that the both of you were curled up against his sleeping dragon.
"Maid of honor?"
"Yeah! I mean, what's the point of having a best friend if you don't get to play that crucial role in their wedding?"
Minho sighed, looking over at you with a fond smile as he bit his cheek. "Oh Y/n, what am I going to do with you? Maid of honor." He chuckled again at the exaggerated pout you flashed him, poking his side. “What’s so funny?”
There was silence for a few minutes as he looked up at the sky, eyes running over a cloud that looked a little like a five-pointed star. Humming, he leaned in a little.
A short inhale before he whispered into your ear, lips brushing against the shell of it and making your hairs stand on end.
"I hate to break it to you Y/n, but you'll never be maid of honor at my wedding." He mumbled softly, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear.
"Cause you'll be the bride."
For a minute, a stunned look passed over your face as you comprehended his words. It took a whole 60 seconds for you to process, but soon you swatted at his hand, descending into a fit of hopeless giggles at his cheesy line. "Shut up!"
"Hey! I was being serious." he had an offended look on his face as he held your chin, making you face him again.
You looked at his expression and stopped, your cheeks flushing as you realized he meant it. Your heart was racing, your eyes blinking rapidly as your mushy mess of a brain tried to figure out what an appropriate, mature response would be.
Quickly you pushed him off you, stumbling to your feet and beginning to run. So much for being mature.
"Race you home!"
Minho watched you run, shaking his head and sighing to himself as he slowly picked himself up. If only you knew how sincere he was.
If only he knew your heart hadn't stopped pounding for the rest of the night.
Mr Yang's books had been the main contribution to your adolescent fantasies, to be honest. As the local librarian, he supplied you with a regular supply of books, but none were as satisfying as the ones he wrote himself. His writing was descriptive on another level, and pulled you in like no other author could. He was your greatest inspiration, which was why his description of heartbreak had been the one to stick with you the most, all the way to adulthood.
It was described as a lingering emotion in the back of your head, staying with you your whole life to remind you of what could have been. It was nauseating, painful and everlasting. He'd written about the emotion so intensively, that at the time you almost felt like you did truly know how it felt.
You were wrong.
Heartbreak, real heartbreak, was a lot less pain and a lot more emptiness. Yes, it did feel like all those things mentioned before- but there was more to it than that. Your heart, which had been brimming with excitement and happiness not too long ago, felt void. Dark, lifeless. It had been so sudden, so out of the blue that your emotions were a confused jumble.
Of course, there was pain too- agony, more like. Ripping through your entire being as you watched him kiss her cheek yet again. It was so all consuming, so terrifyingly excruciating.
You were across the dinner table by your father's side, the spoon in your hand held in a tight grip as you tried your best to avert your eyes from the sight. After all, you were currently sat at the table with three other chiefs and their families, as well as a few advisors and high ranking guards. You had to look refined and elegant, a person befitting the title of Ember’s heir- not a gawking, bitter girl staring at your once lover canoodling with his fiancée.
Finally managing to tear your eyes away, you let your eyes run over the guests that would be staying with you for the next few weeks. You reminded yourself that you were in no position to be a dejected, woeful and pathetic individual in front of all these important people. Appearances had to be kept up, or you would face dire consequences. Your father’s pride was hurt enough as it is, what with his daughter being the only one who couldn’t participate in the championships. You didn’t want to give him any more reasons to hate you.
Next to your father was the Aqua chief, his wife and their daughter- Minho’s fiancée. They were dressed in blue silks, dripping with sapphires and lapides lazuli. The royal blue draped around them was deep, the fabric clearly expensive and not too unlike the dress you were wearing currently.
The Aqua heiress was the spitting image of her mother, both their faces round and their features pretty. She was dressed similarly to her parents, with a tiny diadem upon her brown locks, her gown objectively fancier than yours. She continued talking to Minho, the plate of food in front of her untouched.
Minho.
You hated how beautiful he looked, dressed in white and grey. His uniform was simple, all clean lines and crisp edges. It suited him perfectly, like it was made for him. Which it probably was.
The two of them seemed to be in their own little world as Minho whispered something into her ear, making her giggle yet again. Your throat felt clogged. Blinking, you quickly looked away from them, your eyes landing on Minho’s father. He looked the same as he always did, except now slightly frailer. He was wearing the same uniform as his son, although he didn’t quite fill it out the same way. You chewed on your lip, glancing at him one last time before turning to the Terra family.
The Terra chief was a rotund, pot-bellied man who had his attention completely focused on his plate, not contributing much to the conversation the three other chiefs were having. You couldn’t blame him, really- the maids had cooked up a delightful feast. You were sure you’d have devoured your entire plate by now if circumstances had been different. The empty feeling in your stomach was making it hard to savour the roast beef, which you reluctantly ate.
He and his wife were both dressed in earthly, neutral tones combined with deep greens- and positively covered in every kind of jewel found under the Earth. The rubies on your dress looked like chili flakes in comparison to the twinkling emeralds and gems on the Terra family.
Their son, the Terra heir, looked just as miffed as you, to be honest. He wasn’t as bejewelled as his parents, wearing a shade of green that provided you comfort as you looked at him. It reminded you of the grass near the lake you and Minho once frequented.
He caught your gaze suddenly. Smiling, his heart-shaped lips curving upwards. He shot a glance towards Minho and his girl, and then back at you, raising an eyebrow.
You tried your best to smile back, or give him a knowing wink, or something. But all you could do was stare blankly, your emotions having been sucked out of you. You still failed to comprehend what had happened, your brain seemingly giving up on you and leaving you alone with nothing but your broken heart for company.
Soon enough, the smile melted away from the man's face, and he looked back down at his plate, a little dejected. You felt a flash of regret, fleeting however as you suddenly felt a sharp voice whispering in your ear.
You looked up in confusion at your father, who had previously been immersed in a conversation with Minho’s father and the Aqua chief. Now his face was right by your ear.
"Number one, stop staring. You’re lucky I’m the only one who noticed. Number two, stop by my office before you go to sleep tonight, okay? It’s important." He said, voice stern.
Gulping and nodding, you watched as he turned away, diving right back into the conversation he was having. What did he possibly want to talk about? You rarely talked to your father these days, unless arguments could be counted.
You spent the rest of the meal in contemplation, staring down at your plate. Your hand moved methodically, shoving food into your mouth without actually tasting anything; All you could taste was regret.
It hurt. It hurt so fucking bad. Despite not looking up, her giggle still pierced your ears from time to time, stabbing you deep in the heart. You'd seen it...the way Minho had been looking at her. He'd once reserved such looks for you and you only. Turns out, every meaningful word he'd said back then were lies. Every promise of forever had been empty.
A small part of you reminded yourself that it wasn't his fault he was kicked out from your village. He’d thought you didn’t oppose your father, and simply watched as he and his father was humiliated. Were you being irrational in expecting him to have stayed single until he came back to you? Hell, was it stupid to think he could even bear to glance at you after what your father had did?
Life was unpredictable, nothing was written in stone. How could he even have known he'd ever be in the same room as you again?
No. Y/n, don't do this. Don't force yourself to make up excuses for him. The man had barely cast a glance at you since he arrived. His eyes had been cold and stony the only time you'd made eye contact.
Besides, if he really knew you, he would have known you wouldn’t betray him like that. And if he really loved you, he would have waited. He wouldn’t have moved on so easily.
It was still fresh in your mind, despite having happened a few hours ago, now. The way you’d felt your hopes and dreams shattering to the ground in a million pieces, all in a span of a few seconds. Your heart, vibrating so fast it was almost going to implode.
As you continued drowning in your emotions, reliving the pain you'd felt, you suddenly felt a pair of eyes burning into you, sharply. Confused, you looked up, expecting the Terra heir to be the one looking back at you.
It wasn't him.
Minho quickly looked away before you could react, going back to talking to the heiress. It had only been for a second, but you’d caught him.
He’d been staring. At you. For a second, the tiniest flash of hope lit up your heart. But it was gone quickly, as the Aqua chief started laughing boisterously at a question the Terra chief's wife had asked.
"Yes, Jisu and Minho are deeply in love, Calandra. Honestly. Why would they be getting married otherwise?" He smiled, looking over at the two who had stopped talking to listen.
"This one-" He ruffled his daughter's head, chuckling. "She was so smitten. Kept sneaking out past the border to meet him. Of course when I found out, I was more than happy to let them join hands. I couldn’t imagine a son better than Minho to marry my little girl."
"That's sweet." You glanced up at your father as he said the words. He seemed to be gritting his teeth in slight vexation, the annoyance on his face clear. At least, to you it was.
"The wedding will take place a month after the championships." Minho's father said suddenly, smiling proudly as he grabbed a glass of wine. "You're all invited, of course. It will take place at my village. Now, raise a glass for the happy couple!"
A few claps sounded as everyone at the table raised their glasses. You carefully avoided Jisu's shy smile and Minho's confident smirk, his arm wrapped around her shoulder firmly. As if she would break into a million pieces if he let go.
You hated that you knew exactly how he behaved when he was in love. And now you weren’t on the receiving end of his adoration.
You weren’t used to this.
Yes, you’d lived your life as normally as you could without him for the past few years...but this was different. He was right there, and yet he wasn’t yours. So close, but you couldn’t touch him. Couldn’t feel him. Couldn’t kiss his lips and tell him how much he meant to you.
Your eyes darted about as they tried to find an appropriate thing to focus your gaze on. You raised your glass like everyone else, downed the amber liquid a little faster than the rest. You refused to let yourself look at the two.
Your eyes landed on the Terra heir after a few seconds. You weren't completely sure what his name was, but you have a vague recollection of your father telling you everyone’s names. Of course, at the time you’d been too overcome with excitement to digest the information.
Felix? Yes, that was it.
He seemed sweet. Friendly, even. His smile was a little sympathetic as he looked back at you, and that threw you off. You decided to put a smile on your face immediately, trying to conceal the pain that you’d hoped wasn’t evident.
Your mind flitted back and forth as everyone’s plates gradually cleared up. What were you going to do after this?
Originally, you'd been planning to go to Minho's room tonight. Fuck, you’d dreamed of how tonight would go for months now, ever since your father had told you the news. But how could you now?
Everything was fucking disintegrating.
***
You walked down the hallway to your father's office, your heels clicking against the stone slabs. Your dress was starting to feel itchy, and you couldn’t wait to take it off. You resentfully recalled how excited you’d felt when your maids had helped you into it. How all you could think about was Minho seeing you in it. You’d never expected him to barely acknowledge you.
Sighing, you passed through the hallway, stopping when you heard a high-pitched giggle come out of nowhere.
Furrowing your eyebrows, you glanced around you in confusion.
Another laugh, this one deeper, followed by what seemed like a...moan?
The pain came back full force, hurtling through you and overtaking you completely. As you walked, the sounds started to feel closer. You wished you could cover your ears to block them out, but at the same time you were consumed with curiosity. Was it what you think it was?
Suddenly, you heard another sound. Now, it was clear where they were coming from.
The sounds were from beyond the door that led to your father's old bedroom, the one he used to share with your mother before she died. You frowned, puzzled as you walked closer to the door.
Had he really given away that room to Minho and his fiancée? It hadn't been used in years, and had always been covered up and inaccessible. Even the maids weren’t allowed to clean in there. It was the biggest bedroom in the house, and the thought of it occupied by them was causing fresh tears to prick at your eyes.
You felt the lump in your throat make itself more prominent, blinking rapidly as your heart pounded. Suddenly, your legs started moving of their own accord.
Before you knew it, you were stood in front of the large door, your hand raised and knocking firmly on the gilded wood as you swallowed.
There was complete silence for a second or two, but then there were scrambling noises, along with the sound of rustling bedsheets. You tried to calm the beating of your heart, as you waited for the door to open.
When it finally did, you felt like your heart was almost about to burst out of your chest.
She was the one who opened it. She was clearly half naked, having pulled on a blue robe hastily. Running a hand through her hair, she greeted you, her voice a little shaky.
"Oh- um, hello…” She pressed her lips together, glancing behind her for a second. You followed her gaze, to Minho on the bed.
He was shirtless, his hair messed up and his eyes carefully trained on the wall beside him, away from you. You swallowed again, tears threatening to spill past your eyes as you quickly tried to turn your attention back to the woman in front of you.
Too late. She'd noticed. She frowned at you, subtly moving to the side a little to cover Minho from your view.
"I know we haven't formally met yet. I'm Choi Jisu, the Aqua heiress. I’m sure you know." She smiled, albeit a little forced. "And I did want to thank you for letting us stay-"
There was an impatient grunt from behind her, and she looked behind back briefly before turning to you once more.
"Um, I don’t know if you noticed, but I was kind of in the middle of something. Sorry." She tried her best to hide her smile, her voice heavily insincere. “Let’s talk later, Y/n. And maybe next time you won’t be interrupting anything.” She smiled, beginning to close the door.
"Later."
You just stood there dumbfounded, not knowing how to reply. Your face was passive but your brain was overrun with thoughts. The tears would spill any minute now.
She frowned at your reaction, tilting her head before gently shutting the door in your face.
You just stood there for a moment. You could hear Minho's voice, muffled as he said something to her.
A part of you wanted to press your ear to the door and listen, but you already looked pathetic enough to the guards standing in the hallway, one of them already having flashed you a sympathetic look. You were really having enough of all this fucking sympathy.
Sighing, you dragged your feet away, trying to push everything down, but to no avail. There were too many enotions, and they were too heavy to even let you think.
You thought back to her behaviour. You'd definitely picked up on her attitude, which had soured after she’d caught you looking at her fiancé. Jisu wasn’t a fan of you, that much was clear. And neither was the person who’d once declared himself your biggest fan. Ironic, really.
***
“Who was at the door?” Minho asked carefully, although he’d already seen you. Standing there, looking at him.
You’d looked smaller, vulnerable. So, so different. Almost alarmingly so.
He tried to best to keep his tone even, eyes trained on Jisu as she slunk back to the bed, having shut the door.
“The Ember heiress.” She said, a slight sting to her tone. “Why do you think she came?” She asked, raising an eyebrow as she sat on the edge of the bed.
“I...don’t know.” Minho muttered, staring at the bedsheets. His heart was clenching, hands starting to shake a little.
No. Not in front of Jisu.
“Weren’t you two ‘best friends’ once?” She asked carefully, having picked up on his icy behavior. Jisu knew, of course. Despite Minho and you trying to keep it a secret, at one point the entire village came to know the two of you were in love. The information had even spread across the village, to others.
Of course, the chiefs were the only ones who’d been clueless, only finding out after they’d been separated.
Minho scoffed, shaking his head. He gestured to her, hooking his fingers under his boxers to pull them down. “Forget that. Come back here, baby.”
Jisu raised an eyebrow, looking like she wanted to say more. However, Minho’s almost naked body was difficult to resist.
Shrugging, she slid her robe off, letting the silk fall to the floor as she straddled him. His hands ran up her hips, watching her, feeling her.
His brain, however, felt like it was a million miles away.
***
The tears ran down your face. You were no longer able to hold them back. Realizing you were probably about to break down in the middle of the hallway, you walked faster towards the office-
Until you bumped into someone on the way, almost knocking them over.
“Woah, woah, slow down.” Felix chuckled, holding onto your arms to keep you on your feet.
You looked up at him, blinking as you registered what you’d just done. “Fuck- I’m so sorry-”
“No, it’s okay.” He smiled, realizing his hands were still on you. He quickly took them away, tucking them into his pockets. His cheeks were dusted a light pink as he cleared his throat, looking at you in concern.
You quickly wiped away your tears, but Felix had unfortunately already noticed.
“Hey, are you okay? I noticed... I noticed you didn’t seem so happy at the dinner.” He said softly, looking down at you.
You remained silent, staring at the floor as you wondered how to reply. You didn’t want to seem any more pitiable than you already were.
“Uh, it’s okay if you don’t want to say anything. I’m sorry if I overstepped.” He shook his head, stepping back slightly. His voice was almost more nervous than yours. “Um, I’ll leave you be now. Sorry-”
You looked up, sighing. “Wait…”
Felix looked back, an expectant, almost hopeful look on his face. You didn’t want to let him down, you really didn’t...but it was difficult to pretend like you were okay. You were shivering, biting on your lip. You already felt humiliated enough.
“Sorry. I...I need to go, I’m sorry.” You mumbled, quickly walking away from a bewildered Felix. As soon as you turned the corner, you breathed a sigh of relief, leaning against the wall as your body shuddered.
You’d never cried like this, not even when Caeli had died. Not even when Minho had left, because back then you’d still possessed some kind of hope. Hope that just wasn’t there anymore.
Rubbing your cheeks, you managed to get rid of the tear stains. You hoped your eyes weren’t too red- you weren’t ready for any comments from your father today. Breathing in, you continued walking, still massaging your eyes in a desperate bid to get them dry.
You groaned as you noticed you’d reached your father’s office quicker than you thought you would. Inhaling deeply, you tried to pull yourself together. You really didn’t like showing weakness in front of him, but lately that was all you did.
You knocked on the door carefully, waiting for him to open the door.
“Door’s open, come in.”
You pushed open the heavy oak door, stepping in.
"Y/n. Finally. Where have you been?"
"Nowhere important." You said quickly, clearing your throat. "Um... you said you wanted to see me, dad?"
He cleared his throat. "Yes." He rearranged the files on his desk quickly, standing and coming over to lean on the front of his desk. He sighed, screwing his face up in thought as he wondered where to start.
"I can’t believe Lee really scored a marriage for his son. Do you know what this means? A heir marrying an heiress? They'll possess power we can’t even begin to imagine." He paced back and forth, clenching his fists in barely concealed anger. You rolled your eyes slightly. Of course your father thought it was a ploy to gain power. He’d never believed in love, and most probably never will.
“So?”
"So? So?!” He shook his head. “See, this is exactly why the villagers think you’re too incompetent.” He glared, making you cower. Your heart pounded quicker, your lips pressing together. No more tears, you had to control them.
“Look, Y/n...I’ll put it plain and simple. Ember has been the most powerful for centuries. We’ve always had the strongest dragons, and the sturdiest men. Our village is the largest in the country, and all eyes are on us.”
He pinched his forehead. “Do you know how embarrassing it is that Ember’s heiress, the one who should be the most powerful of all, is nothing but a lovesick, pathetic little girl who doesn’t even have a fucking dragon to compete with?!”
You blinked, sniffing as you stared at the floor. You could always count on your father to reinforce negative emotions. His eyes burning into you, chest heaving in anger.
He sighed, watching as your shoulders shook slightly. Softening a little, he inhaled. It always went that way. He’d blow up at you, and subsequently regret it. He couldn’t take back anything he said, though.
“Sorry, child.” You remained silent, looking up a little. His face seemed sincere enough.
“Hm. I have an idea..." He mumbled, placing a finger on his chin. You could almost see the cogs and gears turning in his brain.
"What did you think of Felix? Nice boy, isn't he?"
You frowned at your father's words, his expression seeming innocent...but his intentions clearly weren't.
"The Terra heir?" You asked, sighing. "He seems nice. Why are you asking?"
"No reason." He shrugged, fiddling with the Ember figurine on his desk.
You groaned, rubbing your forehead. "Dad...don't tell me you want to marry me off to him."
"What?? No!" Your father shook his head vehemently, still playing with the figurine and avoiding your eyes. "I was just thinking. Uh-"
He looked back at you and sighed. "Okay, I'm sorry. But...just consider it, okay? An arranged marriage...an alliance between Ember and Terra could be phenomenal."
You pursed your lips, flashes of Minho and Jisu running through your head as you thought it over. Fuck it, why not? It wasn’t like you had any reason to oppose him. "Fine, dad. I’ll think about it, but I’m not promising anything. Besides, I don’t even know if he’s interested in me."
"I saw the way he was looking at you from across the table, child. He definitely has some curiosity, at the very least.” He hummed. “Anyway, that's actually not why I called you here."
You raised an eyebrow, confused as he went back to his seat, sitting down and pulling up a large, dusty book.
"Look...I'm worried. There's something ominous about this. Their marriage...it poses too many conveniences and benefits for both the chiefs to be a mere coincidence.”
You frowned, confused. "What do you mean?"
He looked to be deep in thought. When he heard you speak, he snapped back to attention, shaking his head. "I’m not sure yet. Now, even if I managed to convince Farran to get his child married to you, it still doesn’t provide us power directly. Without a dragon, it’s likely they’ll make you reside in the Terra village once this is all over.” He hummed, looking like he was talking to himself rather than addressing you. “No...we need a reason to make you stay here. You’re an Ember heiress, the future chief of this legendary village. However, you definitely need to look the part. You need to prove to everyone that you’re powerful, Y/n. Shatter their expectations...and mine.” He smiled, gesturing for you to come closer.
“I was wondering...do you want to participate in the championships?"
Your eyes widened impossibly, your words stuttering as you moved forward. You couldn’t believe your ears, not one bit. It sounded too good to be true.
“Wait- really?”
“Yes.”
“But...but I don’t have a drag-”
“You can participate with Aeracus.”
No. No way. For the first time since the welcoming, you felt true happiness overtake you. Jumping, you squealed in delight, barely able to hide your glee. “Oh my god, thank you, dad! Thank you so so much.”
He chuckled as he watched you, flipping a page. “This has never been done before, so expect some backlash. I’m sure once they see the bond you have with Aeracus though, they’ll change their minds.”
You couldn’t believe it. Your father, the most skeptical dragon purist the world had ever seen, was acknowledging your bond.
“But...what about Minho?”
“Aeracus is no longer his dragon, Y/n. He has a new one.” Of course, you’d noticed. The huge black dragons he and his father had been riding. You felt a sensation of unease drift through you as you thought about the creatures, the likes of which you’d never seen before.
New lover, new dragon. He’d really left this place behind.
“Something’s off about those dragons.” He voiced the exact same concern you had. “They’re up to something. I just don’t know what.” He turned back to his book, taking his quill back up. “I’ll find out, though. Somehow. Now, go to sleep, kid. You have a big day tomorrow, now that you’re actually participating.”
You nodded, excitement coursing through your veins. “Sure, dad. Have a good night.” You bowed and turned around, your steps a lot lighter as you headed to your room, which was close by.
Reaching your room, you pushed open the door, smiling as you noticed Sylvia fast asleep at your dressing table. Moving slightly closer, you gently nudged her awake.
“Wha- I-” She shot up, mouth open as she bowed to you. “I’m so sorry, ma’am, I was just arranging and-I’ll help you out of your dress, now-”
“Sh, it’s okay. Tonight’s been tiring. You deserve the rest.” You said sadly, patting her shoulder as a yawn left your mouth. “Go to sleep, and don’t come by tomorrow. I’m perfectly capable of dressing myself. I want you to relax, okay? Head to the docks, or buy yourself some bread in the square.” You opened a tiny drawer and handed a few coins to her, enough to get some sweetbread from the bakery.
She nodded thankfully. “You’re the best, ma’am.” She giggled, accepting the coins from you.
“What have I told you about calling me ma’am? We’re the same age, Sylvia, it makes me uncomfortable. It’s Y/n to you.”
“Fine. Y/n.” She smiles, heading to the door. “Good night, Y/n.”
You grinned widely at that. You loved how easygoing she was, unlike Ann, your head maid. You weren’t royalty, and hated being treated as such. A friend was all you needed, to be honest. And Sylvia managed to fill the best friend sized hole Minho had left behind, somewhat.
She closed the door behind her, and you sighed, flopping down onto your soft bed and beginning to slip off your heels and the heavy dress, carefully placing it on a rack. The moon shone extra bright today, and you noticed the streets outside were still lit up with lanterns. Soon, they’d be turned off, and the streets would be quiet once more, except for a few drunken stragglers that didn’t want to stop celebrating.
And you would be left alone with your thoughts.
You slid yourself underneath your covers, sighing as you stared at the moon. In the distance, you could see a few dragons and their riders, flying through the air. They were quite far away, possibly near the outskirts.
Tomorrow, you’d be able to ride Aeracus like that, after so many years. Every time Minho had let you climb atop his dragon, it had just felt like it was meant to be. Deep down, you felt bad, though...for Caeli, for Minho. However, it was just the plain truth.
You smiled as you decided to buy Aeracus a bunch of treats tomorrow. Ostrich eggs, phoenix meat- you were planning to go all out. He deserved it, after all.
In a way, tonight had possibly been the worst night of your life, and simultaneously the best. Your heart felt pulled in two, as you closed your eyes and willed yourself to sleep.
You had a big day tomorrow.

𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝟏𝐚.
warnings: these are just headcanons mostly focused on them, but the reader is gn, of course!
note: this was suggested, and inspired by this. also, i haven’t written for some of these characters before, so i hope i do them justice!
Tumblr media
scenario: ua’s normal childcare professional is out sick, so you’re teamed up with another class 1a student to take care of the ua teacher’s kids while they’re at a hero banquet. all of the kids are well behaved, but most of these guys aren’t around kids much, so it’s a learning experience.
Tumblr media
mina ashido.
mina is great with kids because she fits right in with them and will listen to them babble about their interests for HOURS because it truly is interesting to her to learn what makes them happy
and she’ll ask you “wow! did ya hear that y/n? she just said that pelicans can turn their stomachs inside out! isn’t that great?”
she just wants to learn whatever she can from them, because she thinks that they have just as much to teach us
i feel like mina is the type of person who gently inserts self love rhetoric and feminist ideas into her conversations w the kids, because she just wants everyone to be uplifted and for them to notice their strengths without being held back by other people’s opinions
she’s always felt that it was easy to be outwardly excited and to have fun, so she’s really good at getting shy kids out of their shell and helping them to let loose, and will encourage you to open up to them a little bit and be a little warmer
she loves to dance, so she’ll host dance parties with the kids and start something goofy like a conga line and lead them around the common room, making them all giggle like crazy
tsuyu asui.
tsu doesn’t really like the loud noises that kids sometimes make, so she’s more likely to organize a game or put on a movie for the kids to watch to keep things calm and steady
she’d let em pick a nature program or an animal-related movie so that she could chime in & give little facts here & there and make them smile!
tsu is a good babysitter because she encourages kids to be curious about their surroundings, and doesn’t mind at all when kids ask questions about her quirk
she’ll show and tell them whatever they want to know, and will even leap out of excitement sometimes!! she’s so cute!!
katsuki bakugo.
contrary to what other people sometimes say, i don’t think that he’s going to be outright rude to kids or yell at them constantly. yes, i know, he was brash with them in those couple episodes, but he’s blunt—not a bad person. he’s not going to just scream at kids for no reason.
sure, he might get frustrated, but he still wants them to feel safe and protected. that’s what heroes do.
and what better way to keep them feeling safe than teaching them self defense techniques?
he’d be all serious like, “alright, so if a villain has you in a chokehold, what do you do?”
and they’re sitting in front of him, all wide eyed and starry lookin, entranced with what he’s teaching them
“who teaches kids this kind of stuff?” you think. (he does)
i also think katsuki is the kid of person who’s going to cook for them and keep them occupied in that way.
he usually likes making complicated stuff, but he has no problem making it less spicy if it means they’ll calm down for a little bit to eat
while everyone’s eating, you look over to him and see him helping a kid hold their chopsticks, before softly praising them, “there ya go. you’ve got it now.” and giving them a small high five
he’s not someone who’s going to be outwardly soft, so doing things for kids like teaching them things or cooking them meals is how he shows he cares.
tenya iida.
tenya likes to tell and read stories with kids, or help them with their homework if they’ve got any
he’ll do terrible voices for all the different characters and make all the kids laugh
he’ll sit patiently with them and will explain the stories or problems just like a teacher would
and he’ll notice if you sneak them any candy, and will call you out discreetly by holding out his hand for some and saying “what? you’re not going to give me one?”
any and all messes will be cleaned up by the kids, and they’ll be lined up & ready when the teachers are ready to come and get them
kyoka jirou.
i think she’d be better with older kids because they’re easier to maintain and entertain (in my opinion)
they don’t ask as many random questions, which sometimes overwhelm her, and they’re more likely to listen to what she has to say
i can see her being really flustered with the attention they give her, because they think she’s so cool, but she’s still pretty relaxed cuz she doesn’t wanna freak them out
she’ll let them have lots of snacks and would play music for them!!
“does anyone know what this instrument is called?”
“that’s right, good job! wanna hear what it sounds like?”
she’ll show them as many instruments as they wanna see, and tries not to blush too hard when they cheer and applaud
denki kaminari.
if you think kids bounce off the walls with energy, they’re about to meet their match with mr. denki kaminari.
he’s the kind of person to challenge them to foot races and to go way too hard in go fish
and he’d do little pranks where he let outs a little shock when they high five him
needless to say, the kids are exhausted when they make it back to their parents
eijirou kirishima.
he. loves. kids.
he thinks they’re so fun to be around and that they’re the next generation of heroes, and they’re full of endless potential!
he’s 100% willing to be a human jungle gym and will play wrestle with them to their heart’s content while making sure they’re not being too rough with each other
he’d compliment them for the smallest stuff, saying “wow! that was super manly, kiddo!” cuz he doesn’t want other people to question their abilities
he’s not the greatest cook, but he’s helpful, so he’ll help you cook for them!
he’ll encourage the kids to help however they can, and will let them stir the bowls while encouraging them!!
lots of high fives and “woo-hoo!”s
izuku midoriya.
izuku adores children’s curiosity and how their questions never seem to end
he can relate to it, because of course he loves compiling information and learning as much as he can about a topic
if one of the kids was a fan of all might??? they’re babbling together about all might’s greatest moments and they’re demonstrating how the move went and how the villain ran away pathetically
he’s very soft w kids because he knows how weird he is.
he agrees that it doesn’t make sense for someone of his size to be that strong, but reminds them that everyone’s quirk works differently, and that they shouldn’t judge people for their quirk or how it chooses to manifest
he’s so understanding and kind w the kids whose quirks haven’t manifested yet, because he knows how bad it feels to feel like you’re es than average, and assures them that it’ll come soon! and even if it doesn’t, you can still make a difference!
which is all the more reason for him to be as gentle as possible, following around the little ones like a mother hen and making sure they’re not gonna walk into something or put a toy into their mouth
would probably tire himself out trying to keep track of all of them and they would all fall asleep in a big hug pile 🥺
mashirao ojiro.
has a lot of fun with kids, because he’s used to being overshadowed by some of the higher achievers in class 1a
but kids think he’s cool because his quirk is so unique and they can’t help but be fascinated and ask a million questions on what he can do with it
he’s happy to share, because lots of people underestimate him and don’t pay attention to what he has to say
would give them rides on his tail and let them pet it (like denki does!)
hanta sero.
he just kinda lets them do their own thing and follows along to make sure that they don’t hurt themselves
would strap a baby to his chest with some tape just to keep them secure with him
and would answer a thousand questions about his quirk without tiring, because he remembers what it was like to be curious of peoples quirks, and he knows they’re not staring to be disrespectful
i think he’s another one that would cook for them, and feel really accomplished when they’re all satisfied
mezo shoji.
although he’s a badass, that’s exactly the reason why he’s the one most hesitant to deal with kids because he’s afraid that he’s going to scare them away
however, he didn’t account for them finding him to be the most fascinating person they’ve laid their eyes on
he would scoop them up in his arms and carry them around and let them use him like a jungle gym
he’s very very gentle with them because he tends to underestimate his strength and would never be able to forgive himself if he was to bring them harm, but he never does because he’s so careful
shoto todoroki.
shoto never really dealt with kids, so he’s hesitant about everything he does.
he’s seen the destruction that his quirk “causes”, and he’s horrified to thing of what could happen if he gets overwhelmed.
shoto underestimates his tolerance and patience. he’s very good with kids, and is very good at getting them to listen.
all it takes is a little flurry of snow and they’re suddenly at full attention for shoto.
ochaco uraraka.
she likes kids, but she’s not very good at being strict with them
they want to read another story? of course she can read another!
they want another snack? sure! why not?
she tries not to let them walk all over her, but they’re just so cute, and she can’t resist.
she’d make their toys float around the room to make them laugh
and they think she’s a princess because of her “magic” and how she wears pink :)
momo yaoyorozu.
momo is like a mom!
shes great at planning things for them to do and keeping them in line and occupied
games are organized and cooperative, so nobody loses!
although she’s not usually like this, she’s more than willing to give hugs and feel better kisses if someone is to bump their head :(
she would feel terrible if someone got hurt on her watch, so she’s encouraging them the be safe if they’re going to be active!
makes lots of fun little snacks for them to eat, with cute faces and stuff, and doesn’t mind to see her hard work enjoyed by such good kids!

... Remember the Russian Revolution au? Which ended with Fedyor's sister very sick and Fedyor searching for Ivan in hopes of getting help for her from him? Fedyor finding Ivan and offering to do "anything" in exchange for his sister's medical treatment? Ivan secretly wanting Fedyor, but refusing to take what he wants like that? Soooo... I would also like the big the big 3 of your coming projects to happen, but... y'know... just.... wanted to bring this au up again... ;)
Behold, the oft-requested follow-up to the first two Russian Revolution au ficlets. Ahem.
Fedyor does not sleep that night. He does not even think about sleeping. He only leaves the army headquarters long enough to think hard about what he is proposing to do, wonder if it is worth it, and decide that it is. Katya needs the medicine, he has no other recourse, and he is categorically unwilling to return home to his family as a failure, when they have placed all their trust and hope in him. Ivan has hinted that he might be able to obtain it, and so that, no matter what it takes, is what Fedyor will have to get him to do. And for that…
He knows that he is not unattractive. He has dark eyes, dark hair, a dimpled smile, a personable and friendly manner that, in happier times, attracted the attention of many an eligible young lady who wished to ice skate or promenade around the park or take a carriage ride, as courting Russian couples are wont to do. However, while Fedyor was perfectly happy to chat with ladies, or escort them to a ball, or fulfill his essential chivalric duty, he was not otherwise interested in wooing them. It was partly for that reason that he signed up to the military, where an enterprising young man can have other opportunities in the darkness of the barracks. So long as his family was kept conveniently unaware.
For all that the Bolsheviks have overthrown the government without a clear plan as to what to do next, and accordingly plunged them all into this miserable civil war, Fedyor does secretly sympathize with certain of their beliefs on the remaking of family life. They say that marriage is outdated and bourgeoisie, that monogamy is unnatural, that women should not be subject to patriarchal systems, and that homosexuality is an equally valid state of nature. Such a possibility of sexual classification and divergence is much discussed in Europe these days, and there is even a small but growing scholarly literature, written by eminent scientists. Sexual Inversion by Havelock Ellis, published in 1896, argues that the man-loving man is indeed even a possibly improved form of human, associated with superior intellectual and artistic achievement, and that nothing about his attachment is wrong or abnormal. Two years before that, Edward Carpenter wrote Homogenic Love, and in 1900, the German Elisar von Kupffer published an anthology of homosexual poetry, Lieblingminne und Freundesliebe in der Weltliteratur. Such texts are relatively easy for an educated, French- and English- speaking young Russian intellectual, such as Fedyor Mikhailovich Kaminsky, to lay his hands on. He is not sure what can come of it, but at least he knows that he is not alone.
The question remains as to Ivan Ivanovich Sakharov’s proclivities. Unless Fedyor is very much mistaken, Ivan was at least considering the possibility of accepting his offer, and turned it down for honorable, moral reasons, feeling it unjust to sexually extort a young gentleman in exchange for his sister’s care, rather than physical horror at the idea of such a coupling. If he’s a Bolshevik, he’s probably acceptably tolerant of their philosophy on an abstract level, but it’s less clear as to whether that extends to its personal practice. If Fedyor turns up in his bunkhouse – which, come to think of it, is probably shared, curse these Bolsheviks and their dratted communality, highly inconvenient for a midnight seduction attempt – scantily clad and willing, will Ivan’s objections hold out then? Or… or what?
Fedyor doesn’t know, but the uncertainty adds to the frisson of shameful excitement, rather than detracting from it. He searches through the streets of Chelyabinsk for some bread (it does not seem in much greater supply than in Nizhny Novgorod) and waits for the sun to go down. In March, the days, though getting steadily longer, are still short and chilly, and it’s bitingly cold when it gets dark. Then he pulls up his muffler, tells himself not to be unduly precious about it, and heads for the makeshift army quarters on Kirovka Street.
The buildings in downtown are beautiful, built in the Russian Revival style of neo-Byzantinian splendor, though the onion-domed Orthodox churches have all been converted into stables and armories, and anything that whiffs of an ideology contrary to the Red one has been economically discarded. Fedyor reaches the door, knocks, and when a disgruntled sergeant comes to answer it, expecting him to be a soldier out too late and in line for a ticking-off, Fedyor raises his hands apologetically. “I’ve come to join up,” he says. “The great socialist cause of the world’s workers is the only true one for a patriotic Russian man, and I vow it my full allegiance, if you will have me. I was speaking to my friend earlier, Ivan Ivanovich, and he suggested it. Is he still here?”
The sergeant eyes him squiggle-eyed, but they cannot afford to look gift horses too closely in the mouth, or turn aside willing recruits. It takes a while, but he shouts for someone who shouts for someone else, and this finally produces the startled personage of Ivan Sakharov, who clearly thought it was for the last time when they parted several hours ago. Upon sight of Fedyor, he stops short, looking alarmed, angry, and wary all at once. “What are you – ?”
“Can we talk?” Fedyor is resolved to do this, he truly is, but he feels it best to get it over with before that wavers in any degree. Whether he wants it too little does not seem like the problem; on the contrary, he fears that he wants it too much, and if he stops to reflect on it or delude himself with any nonsensical notions of it being more than once, that can only hurt the cause. “Somewhere… private?”
Ivan hesitates, as if asking to commune out of sight of the others is tantamount to heresy (though it’s not as if these damn hypocrites didn’t plot in secret, away from their own countrymen, for months and months, Fedyor thinks angrily). Then he jerks his head. “Fine. Five minutes. This way.”
He leads Fedyor up a few narrow, creaking staircases, past closed doors that echo with snorting and snoring and coughing, the cacophony of his comrades, none of whom seem to be enjoying their glorious victory quite as much as they thought. Ivan, however, appears to be sufficiently high-ranking in the Red Guards that the room they finally arrive at, though not much larger than a closet, is at least private. It reminds Fedyor forcibly of Ivan’s room back in St. Petersburg, the one they slept in together, that first night after the Winter Palace. It sounds more intimate in his recollections than it actually was. Nothing happened, of course. But Ivan was kind to offer it, kind when he did not need to be, when a young tsarist soldier alone in the ferment of riot and revolution, such as Fedyor was, would not be likely to see the new red dawn. It is that which Fedyor keeps in mind as he shuts the door with assumed casualness, then turns around, meets Ivan’s eye in a significant fashion, and shrugs off his coat, cap, and muffler. Then, unmistakably, starts to unbutton his shirt.
He has almost gotten to the bottom by the time Ivan, who is staring at him as if he’s lost his marbles (it is unclear if this is an encouraging fashion or not) finally recovers his sense. He strides forward and covers Fedyor’s hands with his own large, callused rifleman’s fingers, sending a shock of attraction burning through Fedyor from head to toe, along with the death of any more illusion that he could continue to be casual about this. “What are you doing?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” Fedyor’s throat is as dry as a bone, but he forces himself to speak. “I said that I would do anything for my sister’s care, if you would help.”
He lingers suggestively on the word anything, just as he did before, in case there was any doubt (as if the undressing wasn’t enough) what he means here. Ivan looks like a cornered bear, but as his eyes catch Fedyor’s and flick across the lean, muscled torso thus revealed beneath the shirt, he swallows hard and has to glance away. The attraction trembles silently in the air between them, tense as a piano string, tuned to snapping. In the old days, that is, when people played pianos, and did not burn them for firewood, as Fedyor’s parents were preparing to do with theirs when he left home. It chokes raw and painful in his throat. He is attracted to Ivan – desperately attracted, in fact – and yet he still hates what the Bolsheviks have done, even if the Romanovs and the Provisional Government were no better. The deposed Tsar Nicholas II is under house arrest with his wife and five children, the four tsarevnas and the tsarevich, in Yekaterinburg. Little sick Alexei Romanov, whose hemophilia opened the door for Grigori Rasputin to control the queen, the royal household, the government of Russia, and so bring about the end of their house. He was like something from a fairytale monster, that Grisha. The rumors of his death, not quite two years ago in December 1916, is that it almost did not happen, he was so hard to kill. A demon. A beast.
“You cannot do this,” Ivan says, his voice too rough, his eyes still struggling to remain decorously averted. “It is not – it is not right.”
“Not right?” Fedyor flares. “So a little spot of armed treason and overthrowing the man who, however deficient he might be, was the heir of one of the oldest and greatest empires in the world? That part was entirely aboveboard, but this, when you want this – don’t lie to me, I’m well aware you do – to help my sister? That would be a sin?!”
Ivan backs up a step, glancing around shiftily. These walls are thin, and he clearly does not want his beloved brothers-in-arms to hear this. “Fedyor Mikhailovich – ”
“Have me.” Fedyor is done playing games. “I’m here, I’m yours for the taking. You can do whatever you want to me, as long as you give me the medicine at the end.”
For a long, spellbound moment, he thinks Ivan is on the brink of agreeing. Then once again, he shakes his head. “No,” he says. “I could not in good conscience consent to this. But I will fetch you the medicine. You do not have to give me anything in return.”
Fedyor gawks at him, shocked – and, it must be confessed, more than a little disappointed. “I thought it was fair trade,” he says. “Tit for tat.”
“It is…” Ivan shakes his head, eyes once more straying to Fedyor’s bare chest. “Button your shirt up,” he says, half-laughing, not angry, breathless and soft. “It is very distracting.”
“Good.” Fedyor takes another step. “I think you deserve it, you obnoxious bastard.”
“Be that as it may.” At least Ivan has the good sense not to dispute it. “I cannot do this,” he repeats, more gently. “You are a fine young man, Fedyor Mikhailovich. Perhaps in another life… but it would not be honorable to trade your virtue for this.”
“My virtue?” Fedyor has to laugh. “What makes you think I have that?”
Once again, Ivan wavers. But to give him (loathing) credit, he will not be swayed. “Button it,” he repeats. “I will arrange to have the money and medicine sent by your lodging by tomorrow, if you give me an address in the city.”
“I don’t have one.” Fedyor folds his arms. “Only here.”
Ivan looks even more startled. His lips part, he takes a step forward, and for a brief, wild, exquisite yearning of an instant, Fedyor thinks he is actually going to kiss him. They’re almost close enough – not quite, but almost – for it to happen. Then Ivan says, “Your family must be very proud of you.”
“I…” It catches in his throat. “I don’t know. I hope.”
“I would,” Ivan says. “I would be.”
And that, somehow, is all that seems to matter. Even as Fedyor spends a night in Ivan’s narrow camp cot of a bed, Ivan insisting on taking the hard floor out of an excess of gallantry, an echo of their first night in St. Petersburg. Ivan does as ordered, gives Fedyor some rubles and some medicine and a train ticket back home to Nizhny Novgorod. He personally escorts Fedyor to the train station to make sure he does not come to grief, then stands on the platform, staring after him like Vronsky watching Anna leave one more time. The train begins to huff and puff, spitting soot and embers, and Fedyor keeps his nose pressed to the glass, leaving a smudge, until long after, as it seems he is never destined to do anything but, Ivan Ivanovich Sakharov has vanished into the mist.

I know you think this was out of the blue. But nothing proves more than this how much I've been untruthful for myself, even in this relationship. I don't know how to tell you this. I've hidden so much without even knowing, I'm scared that this words could shatter the image you had of me and of our relationship in a million pieces. There is something very inoccent in you, I've often caught myself wishing I could see things as you do. The way you see me, the way you see this. I feel like I'm doing something very cruel to you. But I have to let it go. Because even tho you are kind, and smart, and funny, the version of myself that stays with you is the version of myself loaded with insecurity. You are one of my favorite people still, and I often think that if I had been more truthful about the things I felt we maybe would be over this already. This romance would be a distant memory that we could soon laugh about. In your room, watching a trashy horror movie, I feel like a little kid when I'm with you again. You were my first love, but I was a teenage girl and now I just wanna be your best friend. I never understood why the "just" is often added in to this phrase. For me a true best friend is someone that you share your inner child with, that brings you back to sleep overs after school when you were in 5th grade. It is someone that is resilient and a company in the world of life, I can't possibly see what could be considered small or unfullfilling about it. What we lived at 16 was intense, but now I wanna have calm travel by your side, laughing at some stupid observation you made about sloths and discussing the history of a far away part of this world.I tried to tell you all of this, and you looked me almost offended, "are you breaking up with me?". I know you view it this way and it seems almost cruel asking you to not do so, but I wanted to shout "I'm inviting you for something new". I'm inviting you to move from a romantic relationship to a resilient friendship. I want to share my life with you, but in a different way. And in a few years I want to laugh about it all with you, I wanna see you being loved by someone more then I could ever love you and find peace in seeing you so happy. Things are not always what they seem : contrary to popular belief, staying with you would be a act of hate, but letting you go is the greatest gesture of love that I could ever do for us both.

He offers help where he can, sometimes coming off as intrusive but never does something that would put him at a disadvantage. He has the habit of calling everyone his “dear friend” and is in general, quirky and a little detached from normality. When you're around him, you can't help but feel like there's something off but Baiko is too nice for you to bring that up.
Ei Hagakure – Ultimate Ghost Whisperer
"Name's Ei Hagakure, Ghost Whisperer. Sup? My gramps went to this school back in his days. Sadly didn't inherit his spiritual powers, so guess I'll substitute with a bit of science."

Weight: 57kg / 126lbs
Likes: bad television shows, abandoned buildings, the pizza they have on Wednesday at her university's cafeteria
Dislikes: family fights, doctor's appointments, olives
Ei is a laid-back young scientist that leaves the world of academics in wonder at her more or less successful inventions. Her greatest goal is to prove the existence of ghosts based on scientific findings. Despite Ei's grand ambitions, she is relaxed and calm and just weird enough to get along with almost everybody.
Hideaki Yukiyama – Ultimate Mathematician
"Yukiyama Hideaki, Hideaki Yukiyama, Mathematician and the Ultimate at that! This class looks pretty alright so far. You shitwits seem like the type a smart boy like me can have fun with, hehe."
Birthday: May 2nd (Taurus)
Blood Type: 0+
Height: 156cm / 5'1”
Weight: 62kg / 137lbs
Likes: the feeling of chalk, messy notes, his own laugh
Dislikes: boredom, sitting straight, school uniforms
Contrary to what his talent might lead you to believe, Hideaki is actually a brat. Constantly in the search for mischief and entertainment, he likes to ridicule and annoy others. His genius lies hidden in his complicated speech and spectacular knowledge that he uses to confuse the people around him. All negativity and criticism towards his character simply bounces off him. It is not easy to befriend him as he believes that friends hinder him but deep down, he wishes for someone to get through his irritating personality to know him better.
Ichini – Ultimate Robotics Engineer
"My model's name is 1.2, that's Ichini for you. Ultimate Robotics Engineer. Be prepared to have that weirded-out look wiped off your faces, meatbags! Someday I'll drown this world in chaos and rule humanity with my machines!"

Height: 210cm / 6'8”
Weight: 132kg / 291lbs

Ichini is a mean cyborg that has rejected humanity and all its aspects. Xe thinks xemself superior to everyone around xem because they are still human and will not survive the overthrow of the machines that xe is planning. Despite xir large, armed metal body though, Ichini is all bark, no bite and wishes to be more courageous and confident in xir choices.
Jun Nagao – Ultimate Escapologist
"My name is Jun Nagao, I'm the Ultimate Escapologist. There's nothing much about me, really. Sorry."

Height: 171cm / 5'6”
Weight: 63kg / 139lbs
Likes: flower bouquets, art from the Romantic era, freshly laundered clothes
Dislikes: skin tight clothing, reading out loud, overcrowded subways
After his face was paralysed in a kidnapping incident, Jun has adopted the perception of him being emotionless and cold. As he usually dismisses others and their feelings, Jun is a loner. Because his talent stems from his continued abductions, he finds it distressing to be enrolled at Hope's Peak Academy but accepts his fate to ensure his own safety.
Kaida Tsutsumi – Ultimate Stock Broker
”Kaida Tsutsumi... Ultimate Stock Broker... That is all.”
Birthday: January 9th (Capricorn)
Blood Type: AB-
Chest: 82cm / 32”
Height: 153cm / 5'0”
Weight: 58kg / 128bs
Likes: coffee, Paganini, listening to the rain while falling asleep
Dislikes: the cold, bitter coffee, wool sweaters
Kaida is a small and timid girl, so shy that it is hard to imagine that she works at the stock market. Kaida is great with numbers and probabilities and rather spends time with diagrams and prices than with people. She only speaks as much as necessary and gives her answers clear and direct. Because of her reluctance to talk about herself, she is mostly seen alone but will get extremely attached to you the moment you show that you acknowledge her. It feels like she holds a secret that she can't reveal.
Kyo Kido – Ultimate Horror Author
"My name's Kyo. Uh, Kyo Kido, that's probably how you know me. I'm the Ultimate Horror Author? I'd offer to give out some autographs but my hands are kinda shaking right now cuz– Wow– Hope's Peak, y'know! So it's gonna look kinda ugly, ahah."

Height: 180cm / 5’9”
Weight: 79kg / 174lbs
Likes: romance novels, romantic comedies, the clacking sound of typewriters
Dislikes: ink stains on his hand, sharp pencils, soup
Kyo is really just a normal teenager with a knack for writing; at least, that's what he believes. Like every other teenager, he is a little awkward and shy and, in contrast to his talent, not at all scary. However, Kyo's books manage to evoke such terror in his readership that it's dubbed and loved as 'Kido's curse'. Kyo is flattered but honestly can't handle the fame.
Maxis von Läuterbach – Ultimate Knight
"My name is Maxis von Läuterbach, wielding the title of the Ultimate Knight. It is not often that you see someone as wondrous as me, so my lieges, I am ever at your service."
Birthday: June 21st (Gemini)
Blood Type: AB-
Height: 182cm / 5'9"
Weight: 75kg / 165lbs
Likes: stained glass windows, historic castles, Belgian pralines
Dislikes: blisters, ignorance, ill-behaved children
Growing up surrounded by ruins of glorious pasts and with the wish to set themself off from their peers, Maxis chose to walk the path backwards and do everything in their power to become a historically accurate knight. Unfortunately, Maxis had miscalculated and noticed that a knight lives to serve, not to be served but there is no turning back now.
Shiori Ishimaru-Owada – Ultimate Team Captain
"I'm Shiori Ishimaru-Owada, proudly bearing the title of the Ultimate Team Captain! I'm excited to get along with y'all! Honestly, I don't really know why I'm at this academy, but as long as I make my Dads proud, I'm probably doing the right thing!"
Birthday: December 14th (Sagittarius)
Blood Type: AB+
Height: 185cm / 6'0”
Weight: 79kg / 174lbs:
Likes: racing games, exercise, cooking
Dislikes: reading, hospital stays, basements
Shiori is an intense and upbeat girl. She is a capable leader with strong beliefs that she defends well and at times, imposes on others without noticing. While not being truly talented at a singular sport, she has tried out many things and has always effortlessly attracted a group of allies around her, no matter where she went. She is kind and motivational and, strange for a teenage girl, very attached to her parents.
Tamae Shiroma – Ultimate Whistleblower
"I'm Tamae Shiroma, Ultimate Whistleblower. Pleasure. Before I get any complaints later: Know who you're talking to, alright?"
Birthday: May 21st (Gemini)
Blood Type: B+
Height: 159cm / 5'2”
Weight: 73kg / 161lbs
Likes: hot baths, spicy food, her sister
Dislikes: reality TV, sugary food, caterpillars
Famous for her small but well-placed leaks, Tamae is the tiny thorn in the side of many politicians. In the shithole that she considers the world, Tamae tries to find the truth as painful as it may be to some. She is wary and never fully trusts anyone, knowing that how dirty people play for their achievements. While talking to her, it always seems like she knows more than you've told her. That is probably true. At the cost of her anonymity, she is attending Hope's Peak where she is promised security. Her talent is her duty, whether she is happy with it or not.
Etsuya Iwata – Ultimate Opera Singer
"My name is but fleeting. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, a song of any other melody would sound as fine. For now, call me Etsuya Iwata, forever I am the Ultimate Opera Singer. Allow me to bring pleasure to your ears, my darlings!"
    Birthday: July 9th (Cancer)
    Blood Type: B-
    Height: 174cm / 5'7”
    Weight: 65kg / 143lbs
Likes: being on stage, tea, sightseeing
Dislikes: having to keep secrets, incompetence, boring drama
Etsuya is a charming lad that likes to bathe in the spotlight. He comes from renowned music schools and stages and he is aware the extend of his talent such as his vocal range, performance abilities, musical expertise or the languages he is fluent in. However, Etsuya is not arrogant, he rather aims to make people happy with his performances. It's easy to fall for his appeal and compliments but it's just as easy to notice that he is moody and picky and overall dramatic, and terrible at lying.
Rokuro Nakatani - Ultimate Fraud
"Rokuro Nakatani, sixth son of my generation. This school calls me the Ultimate Fraud yet there's no actual evidence for this claim. I fear they might have given me that title based on my sisters who were arrested for theft and forgery. Well, these are only two of my eight siblings, black sheeps aren't uncommon, right?"
Birthday: April 14th (Aries)
Height: 167cm / 5'6"
Weight: 66kg / 146lbs
Likes: lucky charms, rabbits, looking stylish
Dislikes: noisy places, manual labor, seaweed
Rokuro comes from a family of forgers and grew up in criminal ranks with limited contact to a normal life. He is used to being assessed and given a value and, just like everyone else in his clan, is a perfectionist through and through. His talent, artistic skills and his eye for detail all came naturally to him without much effort. Rokuro is the poster child of his family, earning him prestige and confidence but also pressure and envy from his parents and siblings. Towards others, he is condescending and belittling. Despite his standing in the Nakatani family and with his crafting abilities at hand, Rokuro often wonders if there is a way for him to create something original.
Miyoko Iwata – Ultimate DJ
"Miyoko Iwata, Ultimate DJ! The lil' hodgepodge I'm wearin' on my face isn't actually a laser or sumthin', it just helps me see. So no worries, I don't bite! Or at least, not that often."
    Birthday: July 9th (Cancer)
    Blood Type: B+
    Height: 172cm / 5'6"
    Weight: 68kg / 152lbs
    Likes: bass, crowds, playing violin
Dislikes: the quiet, being lonely, salty instant meals
Miyoko is a young music producer that is known for her remixes and features and grew her large international fanbase through social media. With how many experiences she has made in so little time, she has matured quickly and developed a sort of maternal protection over those she holds dear. However, that protection often slips into violence. Miyoko lashes out and threatens people, sometimes pulling the knife she carries on her. There seems to be something hidden underneath her visor and neon clothes that Miyoko doesn't wish to talk about. She says that she is looking for something.

Dad (Mandalorian Family fic)
Tumblr media
Masterlist || Request
Summary: While preparing for bed the one night, the child finally says his first word ever to the Mandalorian, leaving him an emotional mess.
Warnings: Straight up fluff. No reader at all. It’s just a happy family moment between mando and the child.
Word Count:  2,972
a/n: This is a fic I’ve had in my drafts since I started this blog. There’s a lot of Din’s feelings on being a parent and wanting to hear the child’s first word. Of course when it finally happens it makes him the happiest dad in the entire galaxy.
Time had seemed to fly by quickly for the Mandalorian while he was caring for the child. It seemed to pass by without a care, as he spent each day ensuring the safety of the little one to the best of his limited parenting ability. At first, he struggled with his new fatherhood task, never having to tend to the needs of someone so small and young. The skills he had honed and developed didn’t include looking after others. He had learned to shoot a blaster, not how to rock a child to sleep. So, he had to quickly develop his parenting skills, something he never thought he would have or even get to do.
The idea of him becoming a dad was something that didn’t seem to be in his future, as it didn’t look like his life would ever involve being a parent. It wasn’t as if he wasn’t able to have children due to his religion or way of life. Many Mandalorian had their own families and it was considered quite a happy affair in their culture. Din still remembered how excited the others in the covert had become when one of the couples there had announced that they were expecting a child.
The biggest celebration he had seen in a long time had occurred from the news, and it had been the talk among everyone for months after the child had been born. So, the idea of a Mandalorian having a child wasn’t the problem for him, rather it was the thought of him having his own child that was the issue. Him having a child just seemed like a fairytale and it was something he thought he would never have for himself.
This wasn’t because he did not want children or even a family. In fact, Din Djarin had always been fond of children and had wanted to have a family of his own someday. There were many nights where he would be in his cot, wrapped tightly in his thin sheets to keep warm, dreaming of having a family to care for and love. The idea of having a family was something he held dearly and close to his heart.
So, him thinking he wouldn’t become a parent wasn’t due to any dislike of children, instead it was due to his struggle with building relationships. He had always found that he had problems with creating connections and bonds with other people. He even had trouble forming close relations with other Mandalorians, making him feel quite isolated from the rest of the convert at times. The type of life he lived wasn’t an easy one. It didn’t leave a lot of room for very close relationships with other people to form easily. Thus, he figured that he would have to accept that the likelihood of him forming a family was slim to none.
Then, of course, he met the child.
The child becoming a part of his life was an unexpected blessing that had instantly changed it all in one go. Suddenly, the possibility of him being a dad and having his own family was right before him. The little green womprat with large ears and round eyes was the whole reason it had happened. Din wouldn’t trade his adoptive child for anything in the Galaxy.
After it had become apparent that he had officially become a father to the child, he had noticed that more people had taken an interest in his little clan of two. People of all sorts, from other Mandalorians in the convert to random merchants on various planets, had asked him many things in regards to the child. They were all interested in his adoptive son and his newly obtained status as a parent. One of the few common things being brought up was if the child had said his first word. A question that now brought annoyance and unease when asked to him.
When Din would bring up that the child still couldn’t speak Galactic Basic, he would receive a few concerned looks and the odd nod of understanding. He would usually tell them that it didn’t matter that much to him and that it wasn’t too great of a worry. He was more occupied with making sure the child stayed alive and healthy. Whether or not the child spoke wasn’t the greatest concern for him at the moment, which seemed to both shock and confuse many of the people he spoke to.
If he was being honest with himself, the Mandalorian didn’t even realize that a child’s first word was something a parent was supposed to be looking forward to. Only once had it been brought up to him for probably the fifth time did he realize that most people held it in great importance. Being new to this whole parenting thing meant that there were many things he didn’t know in regards to raising a child and this happened to be one of them. In his defence, it wasn’t like anyone had taught him these types of things while training to be a Mandalorian.
He did his best to act like he didn’t care when the child would say his first word. He would usually try to say that it didn’t bother him. The Mandalorian didn’t ever need to hear the child speak, as long as the child remained safe and well. At least, that’s what he tried to tell himself and others.
Contrary to what he wanted everyone to believe, the idea of being able to hear the child’s first word actually sent a jolt of excitement and joy straight to his heart. Din had found himself looking forward to the day where the child would first speak. The Mandalorian oftentimes wondered exactly what the child’s first word would end up being. He had even begun to hope that his first word would be something along the lines of ‘Dad’.
However, more and more days would pass by without the child ever saying a word. Beginning to make it feel like the child would never say anything.
The Mandalorian knew, deep down, that there was a huge possibility the child may never speak. He had very little information regarding the child’s species. For all he knew, the little one’s kind didn't speak at all or didn’t have the ability to speak Galactic basic. It wouldn’t be the first time he had met a species that couldn’t. So, the chance of him never hearing the child speak was there and he honestly wouldn’t have been surprised if it turned out to be that way.
There were some days while travelling through hyperspace, watching the stars dash by the Razor Crest’s windows, where Din would just sit with the child, trying to coax him into speaking. The hope of the child being able to speak, though small, still remained within him.
The bounty hunter would often first watch the child play about the area from where he was sitting in the pilot's chair. The little green child would usually end up mumbling at him in gibberish between little fits of giggles while playing with whatever new thing he could find in the cockpit.
Eventually, he would maneuver himself so he was sitting across from the child on the floor. Sitting on the floor was a bit strange in the beskar armour that he wore. It made him awkward and stiff while he sat cross-legged on the metal flooring of the ship, but he put up with it for the child’s sake.
“You know, every child has their first word eventually,” Din had said one time, thinking back to the couple at the covert fawning over their own toddler’s first word. “It’s kind of a big deal for a parent to hear their child's first word.”
He wasn’t particularly talking to the child about it, he was more talking to himself, allowing the child to continue whatever game he had entertained himself with. Like most days, the child had decided to roll one of the control panels knobs around on the floor, stopping to pick it up with glee each time he had managed to catch the knob as it tried to escape.
“Do you want to try speaking again?”
The child had decided to roll the knob towards his adoptive father as he spoke, his little face glancing up at the man before him as he babbled happily in his baby gibberish. In return, Din had rolled the nob back to the child, causing another flurry of happy gibberish and giggles to sound throughout the cockpit. The little one had once again picked up the knob, holding it up in delight towards his father.
“Buir,” the Mandalorian said softly, his gloved hand coming to rub gently along the child's ear. The child beamed up at the older man in response, “Try saying that. Buir.”
Not a word left the child's lips. His only reply to the man was to stare up at him still, the starlight causing for a twinkle to appear within the dark depths of his round eyes. The child’s hands had dropped the knob, reaching up towards the chin of his helmet, attempting to grab onto his father’s metal cheeks.
Leaning downward more, Din allowed for the child to grab onto him. The child’s hands instantly tried to pull and squish at his face in excitement, though the beskar would not budge under his tiny grasp. The little one's giggles had increased from the happiness he felt at the attention he was once more receiving from his favourite person in the entire galaxy.
“Hmm… what about dad?” Din asked, pulling back to once again sit up properly, his hands picking up the child to sit him in his lap. “Can you say dad?”
Din had spent the majority of hyperspace travel that day attempting to coax his tiny green son into uttering a word. However, all he received was joyful giggles and more chattering gibberish before the child’s attention had once again been overtaken by that of the knob. Leaving the Mandalorian feeling disheartened at once again failing to get the child to speak.
Thinking back at the failed attempt that day, along with all the others before it, had made the Mandalorian sigh bitterly as he washed his face with a wet cloth. The frown he wore was evident in the mirror as he took a closer look into his reflection. He took note of the wrinkles which had begun to form at the corners of his eyes and his fingers lightly scratched at his stubbly chin.
His tired eyes had roamed over to where his razor was kept, its blades glistening in the dim light of the refresher. The thought of shaving the thin hair there made its way into the Mandalorian’s mind. He decided against it for now though, as he was tired from the job he did earlier that day. The feeling of fatigue made itself quite apparent, signalling that the Mandalorian desperately needed to get some sleep.
Setting the cloth aside, he flicked off the light before leaving the refresher with a yawn and stretch of his back. His gaze scanned the area looking for the child, only stopping when his eyes had finally landed on the sight of him playing with his helmet, unaware that his father had returned. Din had left it laying out in the hull after cleaning it with the rest of his armour when he had gone into the refresher to get himself ready for bed.
The Mandalorian smiled softly at the sight of the child playing, before going to get the cot where the child slept most nights ready for him. It was the only thing left to do for his nighttime routine, as the child had already been changed into his night attire long before Din had even gone to get himself into his own sleepwear.
Opening the hatch with a lazy press of a button on the side panel, Din was met with the sight of the cot and its tangled sheets within. He first removed the blankets from the previous nights, changing them out with some thicker ones to fend off the colder nights of the new planet they were on. Afterwards, he replaced the pillowcase with a fresh one, fluffing the single pillow before finally setting it at the head of the cot. The last touch was the stuffed frog, something he had gotten for the child from a market not too long ago.
  “Dada!”
Hearing the child, Din had jumped, the patchy frog in his hand dropping onto the cot below. He stared at the frog for a moment, before snapping his head to the child now next to him. The child’s little green hands had grasped onto the bottom of his left leg, gripping the fabric tightly and pulling on it excitedly. Giggles had followed soon after, light and as bright as any burning sun he had ever seen.
The child stared up at the man with the purest of expressions, innocent and sweet, his eyes filled with a fondness for his father. The child was seemingly happy to finally discover that Din had returned from the refresher.
“What did you say?” Din croaked out, his voice suddenly sounding very hoarse.
“Dad!” The child babbled once more, much louder for him to hear. The word itself ringing in the Mandalorian’s ears, leaving a permanent echo within his mind.
The Mandalorian had stiffened when the realization of the word had, at last, sunk in. His body felt numb and a strange bubbly of emotion had settled in his chest. His lip quivered as if he was scared, though he knew that was far from the case, and he chewed it lightly to cease its movement as his vision had suddenly become clouded.
The bounty hunter’s hand had come up to his face at this point, his fingers lightly brushing at the salty tears which had now begun to roll down his cheeks in waves upon waves. This discovery was both shocking and confusing to him.
Din Djarin, one of the fiercest warriors in the Galaxy, was crying.
Many years had passed since Din had last cried, but hearing such a simple thing from the small child had managed to make his eyes water and heart crumble. He was crying tears he didn’t even know he possessed. Tears that Din thought he would never shed again, all thanks to one little word from an even littler child. His child.
One of the Mandalorian’s hands rubbed at his tear-stained eyes. The child had tilted their head in wonder at him, confused at seeing the rivers which continued to etch across his adoptive father’s cheeks. The child let go of his pants legs, opting to make grabby hands in his direction once more while babbling incoherently.
“Buir,” Din said before picking up the child to hold him in his arms. “You could also call me that.”
The child looked up at him with their round eyes, his little green hands placing themselves on his father's chin. A giggle once again left the little one, the sound of it ringing out through the Razor Crest as the child smiled brightly at the bounty hunter holding him. “It means father in Mando’a...”
Din trailed off as he sniffled quietly to himself. He smiled softly at the child as his vision remained blurry from the tears which continued to overflow from his dark hues. The tears never ceasing their roll down his cheeks and leaving salty trails in their wakes as he did his best to blink away their assault  No matter how hard he tried though, they only seemed to increase the more he thought of what had just occurred.
“Can you say that?” He asked as the child continued to stare at him. His large, pointed ears having perked at hearing Din speak again. The child’s smile vanished briefly from his cheeks in a small sense of confusion settling in him at seeing that his beloved father still had tears coming from his eyes. “Buir. Try saying Buir.”
The child had blinked slowly at him, almost as if the little one was attempting to process what exactly the man holding him was asking. His eyes filled with wonder and affection for his Mandalorian father as a toothy grin had spread across his little cheeks once more.
“Brr!”
The Mandalorian chuckled at the child’s attempt, a feeling of warmth and happiness intensifying in his already overflowing heart. “Close, but we’ll need to work on that.”
Din cradled the child into his chest, his one hand gently rubbing the child’s back in soothing circles. He held the child like that for a while, rocking him and humming a tune he remembered from his own childhood. The tears running down his cheeks not stopping as his mind replayed the sound of the child’s first word within his now exhausted mind.
The Mandalorian’s tears did eventually dry, the only evidence of their existence being the trails they left on his cheeks and his red-swollen eyes. The child now slept soundly in his arms, nuzzled into his chest and gripping tightly onto his undershirt. Small puffs of breath had left his tiny form as Din continued to cradle the child close when he began to slowly, and carefully, lay the child down in his cot. He tucked the child in next to his frog, trying to not wake him from his slumber.
Being a father was something that Din had never expected he would ever become, and for the longest time, he believed he would never get the chance. Looking after the child could definitely be difficult at times and even emotionally draining, but being a parent was something that Din Djarin wouldn’t trade for anything else in the Galaxy.

This might be an idea you've already touched on in one of your past works, but I'll give it a try here: In a taang marriage AU, how would you see Toph handling the role of basically being the Lady of the new Air Nomads (made up of both their future children and Aang's followers from the other 3 nations)?
Hmmm.
Well, usually there are Air Nomads other than Aang around in my AUs, so that question actually hasn't come up too much. The short answer is: I think she'd hate it.
For the long answer, let's look at the AUs I have where Aang actually is the last airbender. Boy, this is getting long.
Pre-LoK AU: By the time they get together, they each have a child from previous relationships; an airbending daughter and a nonbending son. Which means in this AU, she's not the (only) woman who helps bring back the airbenders, and she's not at all interested in encroaching on Yee Li's territory when her and Aang get married. Yee-Li knows what she's doing, she's been raising an airbender for the past six or so years, and she's been actively learning about their culture since she was a teenager. Toph can't compete with that kind of knowledge, and she doesn't want to, either.
Doesn't change the fact that people very quickly start looking at her like they previously did at Yee-Li. And it's infuriating because she didn't spend the last two and a half decades building an image only to then be made into something she isn't by the world just because she married Twinkle Toes.
She'd do her very best to learn and understand Aang's culture, of course, and not only because of the kids, but she's not an Acolyte, and if anyone called her "Mother of the Air Nomads" or some shit like that, I think they'd have to limp home. She also would absolutely not tolerate the Acolytes putting any of the kids on a pedestal just because they happen to be airbenders. Appreciate all of the Avatar's kids or appreciate none of them, but all of them are more Air Nomad than you'll ever be, so stop treating them like second-class citizens just because they're an earth/nonbender.
She'd absolutely be by Aang's side no matter what he does and how much he wants to teach their kids about their culture, as long as he's teaching all of them, but she's Toph Beifong while doing that, Greatest Earthbender in the World, and don't you forget it.
She'd reject the role in the beginning, and then begrudgingly accept that this is how it is now, while making sure nobody forgets who she is behind that. She'd help Aang rebuild, because she loves him, because it's important, because this is her children's heritage, too, but she very firmly stay herself, an Earth Kingdom woman at the end of the day.
(Also, the airbenders do come back in this AU eventually, but not through some Spirit Portal bullshit.)
His Father's Weight AU: This one's a little different, because Aang dies incredibly young, and their son is only born after Aang's death.
There's a lot of rumors surrounding the kid; not everybody thinks he's actually Aang's, some people think he's adopted, not even all the Acolytes know for sure who his father is because, well, his father was violently murdered, and nobody would like to see that happen to Kelsang.
In this AU, nobody treats Toph with any sort of reverence for being the mother of the last airbender. On the contrary, there's plenty of people who believe she had an affair or slept with some rando immediately after Aang's death. Nobody but some very close friends even know he's an airbender until he's about 15.
Toph would take being the mother of an airbender seriously in a much different way here. She has to find him teachers, she has to teach him what she remembers, she would curse herself for not listening to Aang better, and the Acolytes for sneering at her when she has questions. She would hate this, as well, but in another way entirely.
She'd take her role much more seriously in this AU, because there's nobody but fate forcing it on her, so she can tell herself that she's chosen it herself. It's not like there's anybody else around to make sure Kelsang knows about his father's culture, and she doesn't care so much who she goes down in history as, as long as it's not as the woman who cut off the last airbender from his Air Nomad heritage. And if it's as the Mother/Lady of the Air Nomads, well, that's not what she would've wished for, but at least it means she did a good job with her son, and that she did right by Aang. She's still Toph, of course, and unapologetically so, but she has much less energy to fight idiots. Call her what you want. Look at her however. She's got a kid to raise.
And once Kelsang reveals himself as an airbender, the music changes, of course, but by that time, she's fed up with suck-ups, especially those who had nothing better to do than rumor and whisper over the previous years. She doesn't change her behaviour, she still stands with the Air Acolytes (specifically Teo and the kid, obviously) at important events, she more fully immerses herself in Air Nomad culture in this AU than in any other and is somehow still the most disconnected from the Acoyltes in this than in most of my other stories. She's not the most happy person in this AU. Things are difficult.
Main AU: In which Aang isn't the last airbender, so any notions of her being some sort of important figure to the Air Nomads is quickly dispelled, should it come up. There's still weirdos around, of course, but she would shut them down quickly. The Acolytes would be more interested in the actual Air Nomads than her, which is more than fine by her. All in all, this would be very similiar to the Pre-Lok AU, with maybe a little more annoyance, because it's less understandable. There's Air Nomads! Airbender! Men, women, everything outside and in between! Leave her be, she isn't even the person who gave birth to the most airbenders in the last ten years. Still surportive of Aang and the kids. Still learning. But don't call her anything but Toph unless it's "Greatest Earthbender in the World".
And also, because re-reading made me unsure if you weren't maybe talking about some sort of arranged marriage, the Arragend Marriage AU: Toph would hate to be put in this situation and she would resent everybody who put her there. Maybe in this AU, the Gaang never stumbled upon her, and then one way or another, she ends up Aang's wife, anyway.
She hates him. She hates, hates, hates, hates, hates him. She hates that she'll never be more than what she was supposed to be now, and she hates that he's okay with just marrying this random girl who he knows nothing about. So she makes an effort to learn nothing and be as uncooperative as possible until she realises ... he's not pissed? In fact, he doesn't seem much of anything. He avoids her most days. He hasn't even touched her hand since they got married. He's gone a lot, and he always offers her to come with him, so one day, she does.
And they get to know each other, a little bit. And he promises he'll never do anything she doesn't want, and that she can leave whenever; he was just worn down after months and months of people urging him to take a wife. So neither of them were exactly excited about this marriage. And they aren't for quite a long time.
So this AU is very similar to the first and third once she's fallen in love with Aang, but she is just a giant dick in the beginning -- and she's earned that, too. Call her Lady of the Air Nomads again and catch these hands. She's not even bending, she's just kicking where it hurts the most. Also, leave her kids alone, she had those for herself, not for the world to gawk at. This Toph is very "Fuck off" in general; more so than in canon, and if an Acolyte (or whoever) gets weird about Aang/any kid being an airbender, they are banned from the family. ("Toph, I can't ban them from the Temple, this is their home, too." "Well, I can throw them off the mountain, if you'd prefer, Aang.")
Aaand ... I hope I answered your question? Sometimes I get lost in a thought and then talk right past an actual answer. In any case, thank you for the ask!
