My thoughts on episode 3 of PJO: (spoilers)

I so enjoyed doing this for the first two episodes and the response was great, so hey, maybe this will be an entire series thing

-The oracle was amazing. It was a perfect mix of creepy yet humorous with Percy’s perfect voice crack and “you’re a Halloween decoration” line. Having just reread the book, I wouldn’t have remembered that the prophecy came from Gabe so that was a really cool, book-accurate detail I enjoyed.

- The WAY PERCY CHOSE ANNABETH! I freaked out. Cause you know in the book Annabeth is just like “I’m coming” and that’s that. To see Percy go out of his way to CHOOSE her for his quest was so special to me and I loved it (even tho it was for a different reason than I originally thought.)

-Annabeth’s reaction to getting picked was perfect. This is a girl who has waited YEARS for a quest and in no way do I think she was expecting to be picked. Hoping, of course. But Leah’s expression of shock then excitement was perfect

- Grover talking to the horses

-Percy picking Grover

-“I’m going to back the best snacks” The snacks in question being tin cans

-Bro give Thalia a break Percy, wth 😭. He came at her so hard for someone he hasn’t even met. Which was hilarious and so Percy-like, but dang. I thought Annabeth was gonna kill him right then and there.

-“She met a Pinecone’s fate” Like this boy…🤭

-I loved watching Leah’s expressions the whole time the three of them were traveling to the bus terminal. I will never get over how subtle she is able to make her thoughts appear on her face. Like you could clearly tell she was taking everything in for the first time in 5 years, while still trying to remain calm and seem in control in front of the other two

-THE BICKERING OMGS. I wasn’t ready for the arguing, but it fits so well. It MADE SENSE. Like none of these kids know just how much they can trust each other and their all scared and they don’t really know what they are doing so of course they are going to fight and argue and take out their emotions on each other.

-Grover’s consensus song was perfect. I had no idea why he was clapping at first and when he started to sing I was scared because it had potential to be really cringy but I honestly think it fit his vibe and was cute.

-ok, so for the scene with Annabeth in the store, I loved of course cause it was my girl and I originally watched it as a kid with a lot of money placed in front of infinite candy and she couldn’t just pick ONE so she got them all and it was adorable. But I’ve also seen posts talking about her trying to read the wrapper and since she’s dyslexic she couldn’t tell what flavor was what so she got all of them, which would also make sense and is a perfect subtle detail. Now I just saw one post that said she was trying to pick the perfect candy to make Grover and Percy LIKE HER and that just about broke my heart. Feel free to comment or reboot with your opinions because I’ve loved seeing all these different takes on that scene. All I know is it was awesome and the contrast between a girl picking candy and immediately sensing something is wrong and putting up her guard was a perfect way of showing how life is for demigods

You'd had a rough day at school, which you ranted about the whole rainy bus ride home with Danny. You'd already gotten confirmation that you could come over from the blonde, considering his mother loved you like you were her own, and also because your own mother couldn't love you like how she did.

You threw your things down in your apartment and immediately ran down to the Bixler's, knocking on their door. Kassie opens the door, welcoming you in as she informs you why Bridget wasn't in school today since she was sick. You quickly find Ellie, working at her desk.

Once Bridge scoops up Kassie to help her with the hot glue gun, you turn to the woman you viewed as your mother, tears welling in your eyes. She quickly looks to you, and stands up, wrapping you in a hug.

"Oh, baby, what happened? Are you okay?" She asks, knowing that you got off the bus with Danny no more than ten minutes ago. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know what I'm gonna do with my life, and my fucking guidance counselor was like 'you're gonna be a senior soon, you need to make something of yourself' and I don't know what I'm good at! And fucking no one knows how to shut their mouths and I have no friends other than Danny, and it fucking sucks and I hate this stupid shit!" You rant, crying into her arms. Her red hair slightly drapes over your shoulders and your head, wrapping you in a sort of protection, in a way.

She hugs you a little tighter and rocks you a bit, comforting you by listening and rubbing circles into your back. She listens calmly, holding you tight to give you a sense of protection from the world so nothing could hurt you.

"You're okay, honey, it's okay. I can help you"

"I'm tired of feeling like a fucking loser! I want to do shit with my life, I don't wanna be a deadbeat like my stupid parents!"

"It's okay, you're okay." She strokes a hand through your hair, listening to your weeping, your tears temporarily staining her shirt. "I'll help you, honey, it's okay"

You look up at her, your arms wrapped around her midsection tightly. "Please help me, I can't do this anymore"

"I will, baby, you're gonna be alright. You're gonna get through this. " She lightly smiles with a nod, reassuring you.

You loved that she didn't dumb down your problems or tell you it wasn't a big deal, or that you needed to grow up. Ellie understood you, she understood you more than nearly anyone else in this world, she was your favorite human. You started calling her mom long ago.

She made you dinner and brought over leftovers for you frequently. She bought and brought you old clothes, she was there to comfort you when you were down, and there to help motivate you when you got so depressed that you couldn't function.

"I need help, Mom. I'm scared" You sob, clinging onto her.

"You're gonna be okay, I promise you, I swear to you. Just calm down, okay?" She whispers, noticing you beginning to hyperventilate and hiccup.

"I love you"

"I love you too, sweetheart"

Part Of The Band

She tiptoed delicately out of the tour bus, grabbing her shoes with her on the way out. She knew she was much too clumsy a person to risk putting them on and waking Matty up from his much-needed sleep.

She took one last worried glance back in his direction and blew him a kiss that he wasn’t awake to notice, whispering “I love you.” As she inched away. She say on the steps of the bus, kicking her shoes on.

She followed the directions her map app had provided to get back the restaurant where she and Matty had left the boys about an hour ago. George had spotted her coming in and waved her over.

“You’re back. Everything alright?” He sat up as she approached their table.

“Is it Matty? Is he okay?” Adam added.

“Oh, yeah, yeah. Matty fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. Everything’s fine. I just came back to check on you guys.”

“Us?” Ross’s eyebrows furrowed.

“Yeah. Have you boys had anything to eat yet?”

“Nah, much too hot to stomach anything right now.” Adam groaned.

“But we did drink a lot of water.” Ross announced, taking yet another gulp from his bottle.

“Yeah, in fact, we were just saying that, when it’s time to piss, we should time each other. See whose body lets out the most water.” George laughed, a bit embarrassed that she didn’t find the idea as funny as he did.

“Alright, you guys are hopeless.” She wandered over tot the cash register and came back with menus. “Every one pick something. Even if it’s just a little snack. You need to eat.”

She placed their orders to-go, modifying their selections and adding a few juices and smoothies to take into the tour bus. Something to keep on hand, in their mini-fridge for the road-trip ahead.

“Let’s get back. Matty’ll probably wake up hungry soon.”

She rounded them up, feeling a little too much like a school teacher chaperoning a field trip. George helped carry the takeout bags, while Adam volunteered to hold the beverages.

“So, how’re you guys feeling?” She broke the tired silence as they strolled back to the bus. “I know I was acting a bit insane before. Was just worried about Matty, but- you guys went through the same thing. Everyone feeling alright?”

George smiled at her. “No worries. Matty did look like he was losing it a bit there. We were all worried.”

“But you guys stayed calm. I mean, maybe a little too calm. Made me think you didn’t think anything was wrong.”

Ross shook his head. “Of course we knew something was wrong. We all felt wrong. But…it’s just who we are.”

“Been doing this gig for over a decade.” Adam chined in.

“Yeah, you sort of, get used to a ‘just push through it’ kind of mentality.”

“Yeah, guess we didn’t realize we’re not as young anymore.” George laughed.

She was quiet for a moment, giving them the space to vent and doing her best to listen with compassion. Still a part of her felt that they weren’t being as serious with this as they should be.

“It’s not about how young or old your are. You’re in the best shape of your lives. All of you. But your schedule is objectively insane.”

They all laughed knowingly.

“Three countries in three days?”

“They’re all close to each other though-“ George attempted to interject but she simply rolled her eyes at him.

“You’re a dad, now. Adam. This is the kind of example that you want to set for your kid? What were you planning on telling Carly, hmm?”

Adam always found her a bit intimidating. He looked down at his feet, feeling slightly shamed.

“Leave the man alone, he’s already scared of you.” George came to his rescue.

“Look,” Ross spoke, shifting her attention towards him. “I think…when we made this schedule, we also wanted to keep in mind the canceled shows that didn’t get to take place in 2019 and 2020. And the fact that, for come countries, it’s been a decade since we’ve performed there. And we do love being’ onstage.”

Adam and George agreed incoherently, their voices blending together into some sort of affirmative statement.

“Which ones Matty’s sandwich?” George sat in Matty’s bunk, peeling the covers off his friend and putting the warm sandwich right in Matty’s sleeping arms.

The three of them giggled mischievously like school children. “Let’s see how long it takes him to smell it and wake up.”

They ended up placing bets on how long it would take. And it did take him surprisingly long. 7 minutes and 54 seconds to be exact. Adam won, having guessed the closest.

“Fasts cash I’ve ever made.” He grinned as he collected his winnings.

Matty struggled to fight his exhaustion as he munched on his sandwich sluggishly. He watched with pure awe and admiration and she made her rounds, checking in with the boys, refilling their drinks, making sure they were all hydrated, all the while returning their jokes and witty remarks. He’d never met anyone who has so seamlessly been made part of their friend group before. Their intensity and history always seemed threatening to any newcomers. Even when they didn’t intend it to be. The sheer amount of time they spend together, their lingo, inside jokes, and work style could all mean that even the most confident of people would occasionally feel like an outsider. Not her though. She respected that this was an inherent part of Matty’s life that she could never hope to replace, nor did she try to compete against it. She loved the boys almost as much as he did.

Hours later, Ross had knocked out in his bunk bed, with George going outside for a smoke, and a FaceTime with Charli. Adam hopped into the shower for a much needed deep cleanse. Marty found himself alone with her, at long last. They shared his tiny bunk bed, cuddling and watching a tv show on her phone.

“Baby?” Matty whispered, even in the tight quarters they’d snuggled into.

“Yeah?”

“Thanks for loving my friends.”

She turned to look at him, their noses brushing together slightly. “What?”

“You’re, like, officially part of the band now. You’ve saved us. Don’t know what we would have done without you today. I mean, seriously, I had a like a real meltdown.”

She smiled, caressing his cheek with the back of her hand gently. “You guys would’ve been already, with or without me. You’ll always have each other, after all.”

“Mhm.” He simply nodded.

“I think today was the first time I really got that. Don’t know how safe I would feel knowing that you’re thousands of miles away sometimes, traveling the world, if it weren’t for the guys and knowing that they’re right there with you.”

“Oh, yes, absolutely. Don’t think I’d ever do it without them. Just don’t tell them I said that, okay? Hann would never let me hear the end of it.” Matty grabbed onto her tightly, pulling the cover above both of their heads and kissing her underneath it.

swiss stuff:

he's actually much more of a cat person than a dog person (he still likes dogs tho)

and like, don't get me wrong- he loves cats in general

but he loves the chaotic, crack head, stupid ones especially

they match his energy and he thinks they're super cute

i feel like he (along with mountain) were the types as kits to bring in random animals like raccoons, opossums, etc and then just carry it around

like bring the animals to [the] papa[s] and just be like "look what i caught! can we keep him?!"

he has a red lava lamp that he once got for christmas from sodo in his room but it doesn't work right bc he shook it up

as a kit, he used to google different ways to prank people and he'd go on chaos sprees (commonly joined by dew as well)

the hole did open the first time when someone in distress had an intense desire to run away... so, maybe the same thing happened again?

it’s obvious that he’s is unappreciated in his house where he should be loved. he doesn’t seem to have have any friends; there isn’t anyone who wholeheartedly cares for him where he’s at.

we can only assume the previous months had been particularly bad with rebecca’s disappearance, and then during the show he: gets wrongfully accused of murdering trevor, nearly thrown under the bus by the man who actually murdered trevor, and then assaulted by the man who murdered trevor not long after that.

rhett didn’t get much from his father—other than being trapped by him (a headcanon of mine that i have yet to finish), but he is still his son, and maybe? he gave him the power to...just up and leave too?

quick interjection: it’d also explain why royal was so jarred and affected by that hole appearing, like, “i know this, but i didn’t do this...”

anyways, it’s almost like a parallel in itself? rhett didn’t kill anyone (like everyone assumed he did), but he kind of killed his father, too, in a way when he finally got the guts to tell him up he didn’t “didn’t give a fuck about the goddam ranch!” and that he was finally leaving.

Off to theory-land we go!

I wonder if the 'control' over the hole is something (genetic, maybe) that Royal carries and has passed down to his sons?

Rhett absolutely screams, emotionally distressed; hell, he's the only member of the family not explicitly mentioned in the first two minutes. We see Royal and Cecelia, who talks about her dream about Perry, Rebecca, and Amy, and we watch Royal check on the latter two, but Rhett? We don't know he exists until he stumbles in, and they're forced to acknowledge him. Immediately, Perry's teasing him about who he's slept with, and Cecelia gets all, "Well, make it yourself, Rhett!" when all he did was ask if...there's more coffee.

Sidebar. I've never gotten why she said that. Because he never asked her to make more? 😭 He was just asking if there's any left, probably because he's trying to figure out if he needs to make more or not. Additional sidebar. I have this fun little theory that Rhett seeks out so many one-night stands because he craves intimacy. It's the only place he can really get it, so of course, he's going to go seeking it out. I have now run out of sidebars 💃

Maria even clearly recalls him saying that he wants to escape this place, but here he is, all these years later. Stuck with a family that seems to view him as just another ranch hand more than anything else. There's no way Royal isn't intentionally keeping him around, too *cough* I'm somewhat convinced that Perry was born out of love, and Rhett was born because they needed extra hands on the ranch *cough*

He's got a whole list of reasons to want to leave, so it would make perfect sense for the hole to open for him. He probably would have found it had Royal not kept everyone away from it. Omg but I never even considered that it could explain why Royal was so jarred.

Royal did give a very short explanation, but he followed up that confession by putting the belt buckle he stole from Joy's office onto the dash 😭

I wonder if Rhett wound up having to make up for the slack when Perry went off to college, and that temporary extra work slowly became permanent? Because Rhett clearly never got that opportunity, he's yet to even leave Wabang. But I agree he's absolutely become too important for the ranch to function without him.

He definitely 'killed' his relationship with Royal! He snapped, and Royal damn near lost the ability to speak 😭I can't imagine what Rhett felt when he looked up to see his entire family gone after. Because without context as to why they left, it sure does feel like they left because he said he didn't give a fuck about the ranch.

Omg I just thought of this as I was writing, but what if Royal was asking Rhett to find the hole because he knew Rhett could somehow reopen it? Because clearly, Royal couldn't reopen the darn thing by himself...

I'm so torn on Royal because, on one hand, I can absolutely see Royal helping Perry escape, but on the other, I think Royal trusts Perry more than he should.

Autumn straight-up outs Royal's secret to Perry. And Perry, upon seeing the hole and hearing Royal's truth, says, "It saved you (Royal). It brought you here!" And hops in and takes his dumb little hat with him 😒 Completely forgetting that they'll lose the deed to the ranch if...he doesn't appear in court...

Even if he didn't intend to help him escape, he sure didn't try hard to keep Perry from hopping right on in. As if he couldn't see that coming a mile away. I can't pinpoint why, but he seems very, very... 'My sons must stay on this ranch whether they like it or not' I can't tell if he's enjoying the free labor, if he just doesn't want the adult birds leaving the nest, or if he knows something we don't.

For example, if he knows that opening the hole is genetic, could he be worried about Rhett and Perry's safety? The boys being taken advantage of for their ability? Put on your tin foil hats, folks, because maybe the mastodons have a secret evil plan.

Aaaa! Another sidebar. There seems to be a big push to get both the Abbott sons off the land. - Autumn deliberately tells Perry about the hole to get him to hop into it, using Rebecca as a motivator. - Maria just happens to roll up out of the blue and play a weird game of cat and mouse with Rhett's feelings until he finally says he wants to leave with her. (First time we see her, she's asking if he ever left! Dear Maria, I can't tell if you're playing games, involved in something darker, or your noggin ain't screwed on all the way!) The judge will kick me out of court if I have another sidebar

I'd like to think that if Rhett hopped in the hole instead of Perry, he would wind up somewhere that appreciated him. Because right now, that is the one thing he does not get. I don't even know where to start with Maria...maybe the air there would help her get a firm grip on what the hell she wants 💃

This show...could go so many directions...I ain't even discussing Cecelia's side-quest with the family of bears...or that weird as fuck beep at the very end (is the slow cooker alive?)... All that push just to finally break Rhett into wanting to leave his family for good, just for him to be run off the road by a freak appearance of road-hogging bison...like what do you even do after that situation 😭 talk about a big ol' "no!" from the powers that be.

Lord have mercy, we do more heavy lifting for the plot than the OR writers do, and we ain't even getting paid 💃but this theory is so much fun to play around with 😭💐I hope I didn't miss anything ❤

Week 25/09 - 01/10

25th september:

Last weekend, a few people already left to go on their personal trip. Mostly everyone goes this week. Not me🤭 I will be going in two weeks from now. My friend from Belgium will be able to come in that week so he joins me on my personal trip! Since this week will be chill for me, I will chill a lot too. I didn't do that much today. I ate breakfast on my own pace and decided I wanted to go to the store to get groceries. Some dormmates told me they were going shopping too since they still need stuff for their personal trip. We went together by bus and split up. I went to get groceries and got back at the bus, the same time as my dormmates🤣. We went home again and I prepared the vegetables I bought to preserve them better. I went to the gym later in the evening and ate a premade meal which was surprisingly good!

26th september:

Today went a little bit crazy… I decided that today was the day to dye my hair blue. In the morning, I went to the gym with some dormmates. Back in my room I contemplated whether I would dye my hair today or December. But it was better today so my hair would be a natural colour again ones I arrive back in Belgium. So… I dyed my hair blue today and OMG it turned out so pretty! I knew only my blond parts would be kind of blue but it blends in so good with my brown hair🥰 I called one of my friends during the process because I was a little bit nervous to do it wrong and scared it would come out shitty. But I'm glad I did it🤭 I chilled for the rest of the day and went to the library in the evening.

27th september:

Today was the only day that all of my dormmates from upstairs were on their trip. I decided today would be the perfect day for a kitchen cleanup. It’s nice to cook in a clean kitchen and when some of my dormmates arrive tomorrow morning, they would be greatful too that it’s nice and clean.

I also decided to make cream filling today and eat it as pudding. I LOVED IT OMG! I love cream filling 🥰 I washed some clothes today and made myself an eggwhite wrap with vegetables and meat since I only had to use the yolks for my “pudding”. Lastly I did a home workout since I was too lazy to go to the gym today and later I went to the library (again).

28th september:

Today is quite a rainy and windy day. I didn’t really leave the house today either to go and do something outside. I made myself delicious breakfast, did a homeworkout again, worked for school a bit and chilled in my room. Later in the evening the first group that went on their personal trip arrived back home again. I welcomed them back and went to the library later that night.

29th september:

It’s friday again! These weeks fly by so fast that it is difficult to realise which day it is every day. I ate a big breakfast and prepared my rice, for the onigiri (tuna rice balls) I ate for dinner, during noon. I socialised with my dormmates and welcomed more dormmates who came back from their personal trip. I relaxed today again and got an email that our sailing trip would be organised next Monday on Tuesday which was totally okay for me. It would be rapid washing though for those that arrive Saturday or Sunday from their personal trip but I’m sure it should be just fine. I ate my onigiri with some cucumber for dinner and went (again 🤣) to the library at night.

30th september:

Another rainy day! I chilled inside most of the day and also did some research on the philosopher that me and my group will have a presentation about next Thursday. I’m doing a presentation about Peter Wessel Zappfe. Although he is pretty radical with his philosophy, it holds a certain harsh reality which makes it all the more interesting to learn and search about. His works are pretty hard to read though… I have to read certain sentences 5 times before I get a slight hint of what they actually mean. But it keeps me nice and busy during the day and I enjoy reading about it which is very nice! I socialised with my dormmates in the evening and went through the rain towards the library.

1st october:

I forgot to bring fruit from the supermarket… so I had to eat fruitless oatmeal this morning… But that was okaaaaay. I feel a little anxious today though.. I have the sailing trip tomorrow and looking at the information my teacher put online, they act as if the boat will tip over by the slightest wind 🤢😖 But even I know that it will not be like that and even my dormmates tried to reassure me that nothing bad will happen. But still… it gets me a little anxious about the whole situation though. I worked some more for school today and checked if I packed my bag completely for tomorrows sailing trip. I’m super excited!!

Week 25/09 - 01/10

25 september:

Afgelopen weekend zijn er al een paar mensen vertrokken voor hun persoonlijke reis. Bijna iedereen gaat deze week. Ik niet🤭 Ik ga over twee weken. Een vriend van mij van België kan die week komen, dus hij gaat mee op mijn persoonlijke reis! Aangezien deze week chill voor mij is, zal ik ook veel chillen. Vandaag heb ik niet zo veel gedaan. Ik heb op mijn eigen tempo ontbeten en besloot dat ik naar de winkel wilde om boodschappen te doen. Een paar kamergenoten vertelden me dat zij ook boodschappen gingen doen omdat ze nog spullen nodig hadden voor hun persoonlijke reis. We gingen samen met de bus en splitsten ons op. Ik ging boodschappen halen en kwam bij de bus terug, tegelijk met mijn kotgenoten🤣. We gingen weer naar huis en ik maakte de groenten die ik had gekocht klaar om ze beter te bewaren. Later op de avond ging ik naar de gym en at ik een kant-en-klare maaltijd die verrassend lekker was!

26 september:

Vandaag verliep een beetje gek… Ik besloot dat vandaag de dag was om mijn haar blauw te verven. 's Ochtends ging ik met een paar kotgenoten naar de gym. Terug op mijn kamer overwoog ik of ik mijn haar vandaag zou verven of in december. Maar het was beter vandaag, zodat mijn haar weer een natuurlijke kleur zou hebben als ik terug zou komen in België. Dus… heb ik vandaag mijn haar blauw geverfd en OMG het is zo mooi geworden! Ik wist dat alleen mijn blonde delen blauw zouden zijn, maar het past zo goed bij mijn bruine haar🥰 Ik heb een van mijn vriendinnen gebeld tijdens het proces omdat ik een beetje zenuwachtig was om het verkeerd te doen en bang was dat het er slecht uit zou zien. Maar ik ben blij dat ik het gedaan heb🤭 De rest van de dag chillde ik en 's avonds ging ik naar de bibliotheek.

27 september:

Vandaag was de enige dag dat al mijn klasgenoten van mijn verdiep op persoonlijke reis waren. Ik besloot dat vandaag de perfecte dag was om de keuken op te ruimen. Het is fijn om in een schone keuken te koken en als morgenochtend een paar van mijn huisgenoten terugkomen, zullen ze ook blij zijn dat de keuken schoon is.

Ik heb vandaag ook besloten om roomvulling te maken en die als pudding te eten. IK VOND HET HEERLIJK OMG! Ik ben dol op roomvulling 🥰 Ik heb vandaag wat kleren gewassen en een eiwitwrap met groenten en vlees voor mezelf gemaakt omdat ik alleen de dooiers voor mijn "pudding" hoefde te gebruiken. Als laatste deed ik een thuis workout omdat ik te lui was om naar de gym te gaan vandaag en later ging ik (weer) naar de bibliotheek.

28 september:

Vandaag is het een regenachtige en winderige dag. Ik ben vandaag ook niet echt het huis uitgeweest om iets buiten te gaan doen. Ik heb een lekker ontbijtje voor mezelf gemaakt, weer een thuis workout gedaan, een beetje voor school gewerkt en op mijn kamer gechilled. Later op de avond kwam de eerste groep die op persoonlijke reis ging weer thuis. Ik verwelkomde ze terug en ging later die avond naar de bibliotheek.

29 september:

Het is weer vrijdag! Deze weken vliegen zo snel voorbij dat het moeilijk is om te beseffen welke dag het elke dag is. Ik at een uitgebreid ontbijt en maakte mijn rijst klaar voor de onigiri (tonijnrijstballetjes) die ik 's middags bereidde en als avondeten at. Ik socialiseerde met mijn huisgenoten en verwelkomde meer huisgenoten die terugkwamen van hun persoonlijke reis. Ik ontspande me vandaag weer en kreeg een e-mail dat onze zeiltocht volgende week maandag op dinsdag zou worden georganiseerd, wat ik helemaal goed vond. Het zou wel een snelle wasbeurt worden voor degenen die zaterdag of zondag aankomen van hun persoonlijke reis, maar ik weet zeker dat het goed komt. Ik at mijn onigiri met wat komkommer als avondeten en ging 's avonds (alweer 🤣) naar de bibliotheek.

30 september:

Wat een regenachtige dag! Ik heb het grootste deel van de dag binnen gechilled en ook wat onderzoek gedaan naar de filosoof waar ik en mijn groep volgende week donderdag een presentatie over hebben. Ik doe een presentatie over Peter Wessel Zappfe. Hoewel hij behoorlijk radicaal is in zijn filosofie, heeft het een bepaalde harde realiteit die het des te interessanter maakt om over te leren en op te zoeken. Zijn werk is echter vrij moeilijk te lezen… Ik moet bepaalde zinnen wel 5 keer lezen voordat ik een klein beetje snap wat ze eigenlijk betekenen. Maar het houdt me lekker bezig gedurende de dag en ik vind het leuk om erover te lezen, wat erg leuk is! 's Avonds heb ik gezellig met mijn huisgenoten gegeten en ben ik door de regen naar de bibliotheek gegaan.

1 oktober:

Ik vergat fruit mee te nemen van de supermarkt… dus moest ik vanmorgen vruchteloze havermout eten… Maar dat was okaaaaay. Ik voel me vandaag wel een beetje angstig… Ik heb morgen de zeiltocht en als ik kijk naar de informatie die mijn leraar online heeft gezet, doen ze alsof de boot bij de minste wind zal omslaan 🤢😖 Maar zelfs ik weet dat het niet zo zal zijn en zelfs mijn klasgenoten probeerden me gerust te stellen dat er niets ergs zal gebeuren. Maar toch… het maakt me een beetje ongerust over de hele situatie. Ik heb vandaag nog wat gewerkt voor school en gekeken of ik mijn rugzak helemaal heb ingepakt voor de zeiltocht van morgen. Ik heb er super veel zin in!
