Simon is a little worried.

You two have been together for over a year now, and he’s never heard you mention your family. He’s told you about his, sure, but every time the conversation shifts to yours, you begin fidgeting in your seat and avoiding eye contact.

“Oh, I haven’t spoken to them recently.”

“We’re not very close.”

“I don’t wanna talk about me. How was your day?”

Simon always thinks the worst—you’re too ashamed of him to introduce him to your family. Part of him understands. He’s a giant scarred man who looks scary at any point during the day. Maybe your parents were mega religious and would think he’s some sort of demon come to possess you.

So, Simon eventually just stopped asking—especially when the last time he asked you, he pressed for more information and you almost broke down into tears. He couldn’t stand to see those crystalline drops prickle in your eyes and your lower lip wobble, so he just tugged you into his lap and wrapped his arms around you until you calmed down.

He dropped the subject.

Until today. He sat on the couch, some cop show playing in the flatscreen you two hung in your living room. He hears the door open, watches you trudge inside, your brows pulled together and a frown on your face.

“What’s the matter, doll?” He asks, eyes running down your body slowly. He loves your body—your big soft tummy and thick thighs that he suffocates himself in. Your large breasts that somehow your bra can’t even contain and your plump ass he loves to squeeze with his large hands.

You sigh, holding up a piece of card stock. Shuffling over to him, you sit on the couch, your legs slung over his lap.

“D’you wanna be my date to the wedding?” You ask reluctantly, avoiding eye contact in hopes you won’t see how uncomfortable you are.

Simon stifles the urge to light up, sit up straighter. Instead, he nods nonchalantly, quirking his lips up into a half smile. “Sure, baby. Anything for you.”

That’s how the two of you wind up walking into an elegantly decorated villa. Simon thinks you look gorgeous—a pretty emerald dress that clings to your curves in just the right way. He found a suit that somehow fit him, and your eyes graze over his thick muscled figure. He looks sexy.

You’re holding his hand tightly, almost like an anchor, your hands sweaty. It isn’t until you see your mother that your heart starts pounding in your chest and you tug Simon closer.

His eyes flick down to you, giving your hand a squeeze and a kiss on the top of your head as your mother waltzes over. You have her eyes, but that’s all. She’s wearing an elegant dress that clings to her tiny waist, and her eyes flit from Simon to you, a hint of disdain in her eyes.

“Glad you could grace us with your presence,” your mother says stiffly, her eyes rolling down to take in your outfit.

“Mother,” you mumble, clenching Simon’s hand. “This is my boyfriend, Simon.”

“Nice to meet you,” he says gruffly, holding out a hand.

Your mother doesn’t take it, simply nodding at him and curling her lip up at she takes in the sight of him. He lowers his hand, and you feel his body stiffen.

“Really, you’d think for a wedding you would wear something a bit more…appropriate,” you mother spits out, her voice low.

You freeze, unable to come up with a response. Her words take you back to years of verbal abuse—“Do you think you need a second plate?”, “Come on, dear, why don’t you go take a walk with your sister to burn those calories!”, “You’ll never find a boyfriend if you weigh as much as you do.”

“I see you still haven’t lost the weight,” she continues, her eyes hard. “I thought you’d finally make an effort for your sister’s wedding. She looks beautiful, by the way. Size 2 wedding dress. Unlike you—”

“I’m gonna stop you right there.” Simon’s voice is gruff and low. His eyes flick to your face, taking note of the tears welling in them and the way your eyes are glued to the floor. His free hand clenches into a fist, and he understands now why you never want to speak about your family.

“I was speaking—”

“Well, you’re done now,” he says, his eyes dangerously cold. “Don’t know who the fuck you think you’re talkin’ to, but this is my girl. She’s fuckin’ perfect, and if you say one more nasty thing about or to her, I’ll pop out your eyeballs with my fingers.”

Your mother’s mouth hangs open, and you blink back the tears and look up at Simon, grateful he’s there. Grateful he’s in your corner and that he loves you. You squeeze his hand, and he smiles down at you.

“I never have been spoken to like this—”

“Well, someone should.” Simon tugs at your hand, pulling you against him. “We’ll be going now. Don’t expect to hear from us. Have a terrible life.”

He leads you away from your bewildered mother, out of the villa and to his car. He bends down, wiping at your eyes with his thumbs, concern in his own.

“You alright, baby?” He murmurs softly, cupping your face.

You nod, looking into his eyes. “I couldn’t say anything,” you mumble. “Every time she opens her mouth, I freeze. I’m so—”

“Shhhh, love.” He leads you to the car, opening up the passenger side door. “Come on. Let’s go get ice cream and go home. I’m itchin’ to give you some proper lovin’.”

He squeezes your thigh all the way home, the two of you eating ice cream and laughing, Simon trying to take your mind off of the terrible encounter with your mom.

And when the two of you get home, he strips you bare and worships your body until you’re crying out his name.

cyno is a man of few words but reassures you about how much he loves you and would quite literally tear apart, limb from limb anyone that tries to harm you. cyno keeps a close eye on you especially when he senses danger is near, he wouldn't even wish for anything bad to happen to you. as the general mahamatra, fighting is practically his specialty which is why he uses that fighting experience and knowledge to protect you even if you tell him that you can handle yourself, he insists as he doesn't want to risk losing you like that.

And while Derek turned to Emily and Reid for help, and they shook their heads, unable to help him, your slim figure appeared around the corner, your steps light and sure, as if you had found an invisible path through the chaos of the precinct. Emily watched you carefully and couldn't help but wonder what other talents lay hidden within you. Your ability to move so effortlessly in a foreign language was impressive, and she couldn't help but wonder what else was hidden behind your calm facade.

As you continued to talk to the man, your team slowly began to realize that they still had a lot to learn about you. Their excitement grew with every passing minute and they couldn't wait to learn more about your mysterious talents.

When the conversation finally ended and the man left the BAU grateful and relieved, there was an excited atmosphere in the room. Your team turned to you at the same time, full of questions and admiration. “Y/n, how many languages do you actually speak?” Reid asked, unable to hide his surprise despite his poker face.

You smiled modestly when you saw the surprised looks. It was rare that you gave a glimpse of your true potential, but in that moment you felt comfortable revealing a small part of your secret. "A few. More than ten, definitely. Polish is my native language."

"That's incredible!" JJ exclaimed, realization catching up with her as she thought about what deep and great contribution you could still make if you helped her coordinate communications. "How did you learn that many languages?"

"It was a mix of interest and necessity," you explained, getting up from your seat to continue your work. "There are many situations in which it is useful to speak multiple languages, especially in our job."

Your team was impressed by your humility and for a moment they even forgot about the hustle and bustle of your job as they got lost in your talent. You disappeared from their field of vision to get a coffee while some of them immersed themselves in their work. Others, however, tried to sort out their thoughts.

Emily couldn't stop thinking about your language skills. The way you effortlessly switched between languages and your calm, confident charisma had deeply impressed her and sparked something in her that she hadn't yet known herself.

Determined to climb over the walls and explore your talents, your skills and yourself more closely, she followed you, the hustle and bustle of the precinct behind her slowly fading away. "Your native language, please," Emily replied, staring at you in fascination and waiting impatiently. You began to speak and Emily listened intently. Your voice was soft and melodic, and every word sounded clear and precise. Emily was struck by the elegance and beauty of the language and how effortlessly you spoke it, even if she didn't know that you were just paying her the nicest compliments she had ever heard from anyone.

Her laugh is captivating and simply angelic, she's got such a lovely personality that just pulls me in, and she's so goddamn gorgeous.

"Yes, JJ I like her." I'm starting to think telling her wasn't a good idea.

"Oh you so have to ask her out!" JJ squealed in delight.

"Are you insane!? She's like half my age and my subordinate jayj, I can't do that!" My face starts to heat up just thinking about telling her.

"Okay we'll please, think about it! She definitely likes you back em I promise you that much. Before you even try to argue, have you seen the way she looks at you? She's basically in love!" "Okay, Tara, Rossi you go to the first scene and see what you can find, Derek, JJ and Reid go to the local PD set up and talk to the families, Y/l/n you're with me, we're going to the second scene." Everyone scrambled off to their respective SUV's as we got off the jet.

Just the thought of being alone with Emily was making me nervous. She's so amazing in every way, her smile, her laugh, her nose, her personality. She's perfect. And her hair, the grey hair is doing something to me. But she's my boss and she's older than me and ugh, it'll never happen. Emily always been really close to me though, staying late to help me with paperwork, talks over coffee at lunch, her hand grazing over my back, our fingertips brushing as she hands me a file... I know I'm reading too far into it but I wasn't.

"You ready?" Her soft voice snaps me out of my trance.

"Yeah, I'm ready." I smile at her as we get in the car. I sit down and she looks over at me, making my cheeks flush a light pink.

"You alright?" Emily asked, gently placing her hand on my thigh. My cheeks flush and even deeper red at that simple touch and she seems to cotton on. This is going to be a long day.

Time skip to after the case (cba to write a case sry)

"Hey you." Emily said as she came up behind me and trailed her fingers over my lower back as she came to stand beside me.

"Hey, you okay?" She smiles at me and my knees almost buckle right then and there.

"Yeah I'm okay sweetheart are you?" Oh. My. God. The nickname, you see that puddle on the floor? That's me.

"I'm good." My cheeks flush a crimson colour as she pressed her fingers against my face.

"You're feeling a bit warm, you sure you're okay? Actually don't answer that, you're going to say yes not matter what. You're coming to mine tonight." This wasn't an uncommon occurrence as she's always been protective over me.

"I'm not sick I promise." I say slightly embarrassed because she's the reason my cheeks are so warm.

We both gather our stuff and get in the car to drive to Emily's.

Time skip to when they're at Emily's

I walk into her apartment and put down my bag, turning to face em.

"Honey come on, why are you staring?" She moved closer as she said this holding her hands on my hips and gently guiding me closer to her.

My head is spinning as her lips glide over mine in perfect sync. My hand threads through her silver hair and rugs her closet to me, her tongue grazes my bottom lip asking for entrance and I grant her exactly what she wants. Her tongue slips effortlessly into my mouth and she instantly takes control of the kiss. She backs me into a wall and holds one hand on my waist and the other holding my cheek.

We pull away after a while and she still doesn't look like she thinks this can go anywhere.

"Why won't you let me love you?" Tears well up in my eyes, I was trying not to be too emotional but the fact that Emily was denying herself live and happiness because she thought she wasn't good enough broke my heart.

"Oh my love, please don't cry, I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry, just let me love you em, please."

I pull her into my embrace and she taps the back of my thighs signalling for me to jump. The stories they brought with them were always just as great, the latest happenings around the city and the nation as a whole, who was doing what now and such on and so forth. Ayato would come to check in on you occasionally throughout your appointment, checking that everything was going well. And of course, when it’s done he expects you to come to his office and show off. Pantalone’s soft smile spread just a bit farther across his face as you came bounding into his office, a bright smile of your own. You had just gotten your hair done and nails touched up and he could tell you were back to feeling like yourself again. So I was wondering if I could ask about some of the cod mens reaction to Ravine being a GOD TIER cook?🤤 Like no one would expect him to be able to make such delicious meals but when he does, one bute and you are literally sent to the Gates of heaven. Like you are GONE! Unless you think he's an absolute awful cook? Which in that case just do the opposite. I feel like there be at least one person who would eat his cooking no matter how awful it is (Cough Soap Cough).

Like most people food is the quickest way to my heart so I feel like this be an interesting situation!🍕

Ravine is a pretty good cook since he took many job offers he could get to earn money for his daughter’s surgery ( Oop he had a daughter?! <o< )

(Soap really be trying not to hurt anyone's feelings but his own taste buds. I feel like Gaz would leave it in his mouth and then spit it out when the cook isn’t watching🤣🤣)

It must have been a hard month for Ravine to volunteer to cook. He sees the team starting to slouch and drag their feet across the dirt like dead weights. At the end of the month they were moving around like shrimps.

Ravine made a whole list for each individual of 141; Los Vaqueros and decided to cook their favorite. (No one will ever know how he got that information.)

Soap is the first one to leave his room and follow the heavenly scent slowly filling the area, then Gaz, Alejandro and the rest.

They are surprised to see Ravine standing in the kitchen and moving around like it was the back of his hand.

The longer they stare from the doorway the more some eyes trail down his body. The sleeves of his t-shirt barely showed the skin of his arm that was hidden behind arm sleeves and his muscles bulged with every move.

Alejandro was tempted to whistle at the back view but Rudy, who had known him for a long time was shaking his head at him but didn't say a thing otherwise.

Gaz slowly steps closer to the cook, commenting how good it smells, to hide the fact he wasn't even eyeing the food in the pan but his arm sleeves that squeezed his biceps just right.

Soap leans away from the doorway to join Ravine's other side, his gaze drifting from the pan and spatula to his hands that were freed from the gloves he always wore. He licks his lips unconsciously at the gracious view gifted to his eyes.

Ravine seems to have different thoughts.

"Out."

"...Huh?"

Gaz and Soap find themselves kicked out of the kitchen with the door closed on their faces. It earns them a chuckle from the others at their expressions.

In Ravine’s eyes the kitchen was just another battlefield, one mess would trigger a second and third. Especially with the giant knives around, Ravine rather not have blood spilled.

The team find themselves at the table and they can’t believe their eyes at the various food displayed in front of them. They all subconsciously turn towards Ravine who leaves the kitchen with a plate of his own.

Rudy kindly asks him if he was going to eat with them but feels disappointed when the cook shakes his head.

He points inside the kitchen at the fridge, “Desserts.” and leaves the amazed group to eat in his room.

Ghost turns his eyes back at his plate and takes a mouthful. It felt like he was eating at a really fancy restaurant, not that he would ever go to such a place.

They serve a giant plate with one bite of food on it and then make you pay over 1000. Such a waste of money. Compared to that Ravine’s food was actually to die for and he would actually pay him that much to cook for him again.

Gaz kind of feels emotional. After such a long and rough month, homemade food was the best for the tiring heart. It was even better when the food tasted like it was cooked by a god.

With each bite, more saliva fills their mouths and a groan of satisfaction leaves them.

Soap swears he saw angels for a second.

Alejandro couldn’t stop complimenting with his mouth still full and Rudy nodded alongside him, both feeling like they were flying among the clouds, weightless and light as a feather.

Soap was the most curious about Ravine. Well, he was the one who showed his interest more verbally and visibly.

The men have so many questions and their curiosity slowly drags them to the depths.

Like is there anything Ravine couldn’t do??? The perfect soldier, a cold looking man but didn’t shy away to show kind gestures. And now they find out that he definitely worked as a chef before and now they want to know more about his life before he became a part of the military.

Hell even Ghost shared more than Ravine ever did and some of the men met Ravine waa-ay before the others.

The food was wolfed down and the plate almost licked clean. (Soap definitely licked it clean without any shame.)

They felt more energetic than the hellish month started and felt thankful for Ravine’s kind gesture. It just bothered them that Ravine was eating alone in his room again, probably working on engine stuff they did not understand while they were sitting in the cozy atmosphere with each other’s company.

Price steps away from the group to check up on the lone man, a bowl filled with watermelon and mango in his hand.

He knocks on the door and waits for Ravine to let him in.

Price can see the plate on his desk, not even halfway done eaten with stacks of paperwork on the other side. He pats the soldier on the back, sighing slightly before telling him to take it easy for once.

“Aye.”

He leaves the fruit bowl beside his dinner and feels content when Ravine visibly perks up. A soft smile spreads on Price’s lips and he would have ruffled his head but the helmet was in the way.

“Enjoy son.”

Extra:

Rudy and Gaz didn’t let Ravine back in the kitchen when they saw him at the sink, about to clean everything himself even though he made such an effort to cook 6 different dishes for them.

They wanted to hug him because it was really delicious but Ravine was already backing away when they inched closer. So they shut the door softly on him so he wouldn’t come back to clean.

Soap and Alejandro really want Ravine to cook again but don’t want to bother him because he’s always busy with something else.

When they find out Ravine likes watermelon and mango, they definitely went to buy more so the fridge was always stocked with it.

Ghost lent a helping hand to Ravine whenever he could to thank him for the wonderful dinner.

Price makes sure he has less paperwork if he can help it.
