Yes I forgot the ... Handlebars ??? Omega has on his shoulders on that First Drawing . Yes this is a Crime that I Rectify in my later Scribbles. Otherwise the changes made were made for my Awesome Au where I can make the designs easier to draw for my Puny Mind.

Uncle Chuck but he’s Evil. And his Mustache? Fake. He puts it over his nose. Why did I make him Evil? I thought it would be Funny. I tried to make him look Less like Old Sonic and turned his eyebrows into Spines. His outfit is loosely based off his Pre Reboot Archie Fit. But only Loosely.

I don't actually know Why I did designs for Honey and Mina. Honey looks more Akin to a Tiger now and I Epically Failed to translate her outfit to my Redesign Rules. Mina I completely overhauled Simply for the sake of it, I guess. Tried to keep the Important Elements and Reinterpret them.

Just turned Wave's shirt into that fluff the other two Babylon Rogues have. I didn't add her Glasses here but I Probably would give them Back.

Bunnie and Cassia I scribbled Awhile Back. I don't have Much to say, considering it was A Long While Ago. But I liked them Well Enough to put here, I guess. I Apparently tried and Failed to scribble Clove as well (which is why she’s Missing)

Omega I love you, but you are so difficult to draw

I can't draw him without at least a million references and even then I can probably only draw him in one pose. And I don't have fun drawing him, it takes too long for me and then I lose interest.

I want to draw Shadow, Rouge and Omega together more but I also just don't want to draw Omega because I don't enjoy it.

I also have such a difficult time drawing Shadow. I don't know what it is but I just can't get him right. The amount of times I resized his quills and eyes is.....a lot. Sucks because he's one of my favorite characters of all time but I really struggle to draw him.

Rouge and Maria were pretty fun and easy to draw though.

Thinking about a world where Sega and Capcom came together and gave us what we all deserve: a Sonic X Ace Attorney crossover game. I would think it'd lean more into a visual novel style, maybe with some parts more similar to the Investigation games where you play as Sonic in kinda an isometric platforming stage? Honestly that part isn't as fully formed in my mind.

Some sort of Eggman plot ends up getting everyone accidentally sent to the world of AA while he's on the search for some kinda spirit channeling maguffin to aid him in a take-over-the‐world-plot. And of course Phoenix "luckiest unlucky man ever" Wright ends up getting himself stuck right in the middle of it all.

For the first/tutorial case I think Sonic would absolutely need to be the defendant. I would think the events of the case probably take place either the same day of or the day after the Sonic cast gets transported into the world. Something along the lines of Sonic not having an alibi because he was moving too fast for them to see him would be a perfect kinda turnabout twist to combine the logic of both series together imo.

Also throughout the whole game there would 100% be a running gag about people mistaking Phoenix and Sonic for eachother purely because of Wright's hair and Sonic's quills

Case two's defendant is a toss up between Knuckles or Tails imo, I lean more towards Knuckles being the one though for one very important reason. Tails would be perfect for the Ace Attorney 'weird girl assistant' role. Obviously Sonic would be tagging along too (because no way in hell would you not be able to have both protagonists hanging out together) but Tails would be totally down to help and Sonic, while he totally wants to help Knux, is very much in a "I could just break him out and be back before they could even notice he's gone" mood which is causing Phoenix just SO much grief.

I think this would probably break from the general mold of AA and not be a murder case and instead be a larceny case, with Knuckles being accused of the crime due to his digging skills, and the fact that tunnels were found all around the property of the stolen object. This is where we learn about this spirit channeling macguffin through either a Pearl cameo, who we learn through fluff dialogue is now an honorary member of Team Rose due to how well she gets along with them. It turns out to actually be Rouge who stole the macguffin under orders from G.U.N to keep it out of Eggman's hands meaning she doesn't sentenced for the crime since she technically didn't break any laws.

Case three's defendant would be Big the Cat because I think it'd be funny. Something along the lines of Big looking for Froggy and ending up at a totally unrelated murder scene. You play as Apollo in this case because he's my favorite boy and I think it'd be funny to watch him struggle with having to deal with Big. Just a general silly case full of wacky crossover fun before getting more seriously into the plot with the final two cases. Also the Chaotix are there because you can't have a mystery game without detective. Are the helping? Are they against you? Not really sure. But it'd be a massive missed opportunity to NOT include them.

Amy would be case four's defendant, with her piko piko hammer being found at the scene and Omega's body being found in pieces. That's right! I think it'd be interesting to have a named character be the victim of one of these cases, but obviously I'm not gonna kill anyone off. I think Omega would be the best pick though since he's a robot and it'll take time for Tails to fix him from the totally wrecked state he's in. I think it'd be fun to have Shadow as a key witness in this case, believing Amy did it. He doesn’t want to suspect she did something like this, but claims he saw her in the act of tearing Omega apart with her hammer, take the macguffin and then bolt.

It goes without saying it's obviously Eggman trying to frame Amy for this, using Metal Sonic to frame her by using his shape shifting powers from Heros to disguise himself as her, take apart Omega to retrieve the macguffin, and get it to Eggman. Leading into the final case.

The final case would be a continuation from there with out heros all joining together to try and stop Eggman from using the machine being powered by the Macguffin. Maybe something about Phoenix needing to come with because his magatama is able to counteract it...? Idk. Get that mandatory Edgeworth cameo in there with it being revealed that him and Franziska were teaming up with Team Dark the whole game to help put a stop to things (Giving us fun Phoenix + Sonic and Edgeworth + Shadow parallels). Of course the heros manage to put a stop to things and everyone goes back to their own world yadda yadda happy ending.

This came out way longer than I expected haha but I hope y'all like the concept! If I had the patience I'd totally write this as a fan fic but I know I don't so if anyone wants to take my idea and expand on it absolutely do it! Just let me know so I can read it too. :3

Primo (he/him)

He doesn't really play himself, but he's very willing to watch.

He likes two types of games: the ones where you get to build, farm and make friends (The Sims series, Minecraft, Stardew Valley) and games where choices matter and there's a mystery to be solved (Detroit: Become Human, Baldur's Gate 3, Life is Strange).

If you play games where you get to build, he asks if you'd mind letting him give you design ideas, as he was always interested in architecture. Your in-game houses never looked better, he's an excellent architect.

He also memorizes all the gifts and recipees from Stardew Valley for you. Considers it a good brain excercise.

With the other kind of games, he is fascinated by all the options they offer and the concept of morality.

Although he does think Detroit: Become Human got way out of hand with the plot. It was one of the few times you heard him mutter cursewords in Italian.

He does enjoy Neil Newbom's performance in games, though. He's the only reason Primo bought you Resident Evil: Village and insisted you play together.

Secondo (he/him)

Well, he does like classic arcades.

And surprisingly, it doesn't take long for him to grow familiar with a joystick. So if you have a console, he's pretty good at it after a few days.

He's weirdly good and Doom. It's very concerning how good he is at Doom.

And MovieStarPlanet. This man spent so much money on MovieStarPlanet it's insane.

He needs his character to look fabulous, after all. He will actually make it a point of pride that his character is dressed better than yours.

He plays as a female character, by the way.

Naturally, he played the Barbie games, too. His favorite is The Barbie Diaries: High School Mystery.

Terzo (he/they)

Terzo is rather decent at classic platformers, like the original Mario Brothers game or the old Sonic games.

You show them a dating simulator and the bastard is obsessed.

He gets a new phone just to have more dating simulator games on his phone.

This is all fine and dandy until he he gets his hands on Mystic Messenger and stayed up at nights to play the night chatrooms.

On maximum volume. On maximum brightness.

Needless to say, Omega was not amused. Neither were you.

It gets even weirder when Terzo starts throwing around phrases in Korean that they learned from the game.

Korean with a very thick Italian accent.

Omega is losing his mind, especially after Terzo, having not gotten enough sleep one night, accidentally tried to perform a ritual from the Arcana, rather than the one he was supposed to.

You both end up on technology detox as Omega insists it's crucial for you two to touch grass.

Copia (he/him)

We all remember him playing Driving Miss Daisy.

We also all remember that he sucked at playing Driving Miss Daisy.

He's good at co-op games, though!

Like Minecraft or Raft. Or even Stardew Valley (that one mod is forever in my heart).

Especially Minecraft. Copia yearns for the mines.

You find a bigger hill or a mountain in the game? He insists to dig a room in it as your first base.

You leave for a bathroom break and suddenly Copia's wearing diamond armor and you have a giant underground empire.

You know he didn't cheat, he doesn't even know how to input cheats in the game.

He's the same in Stardew Valley. He was at the bottom of the mine with the original pickaxe and a crappy sword in less than a week in-game.

Science can't explain how he did that. Or why the mines is the only thing he's good at in those games. He sucks at everything else, he is a mines-only boy.

Old Nihil (he/him)

He is not going anywhere near the computer after Swiss and Sunshine showed him Five Nights At Freddy's.

He is not risking that shit again.

He will sit in the corner of the room and sulk if you play video games while he's around.

Young Nihil (he/him)

Even in his youth, he was older than video games and not very smart.

He gets way too distressed about the games so you put him on a gaming ban for the sake of both his and your own sanity.

He does like watching you play, though. Especially as he cuddles up to you.

He keeps complimenting you while you play. He's proud of you!

Young Sister Imperator (she/her)

She would not have the time.

As much as she loves you, it's almost always a no.

She doesn't mind if you play something while you're together, she's just... not gonna have the time to actually play.

Although considering it's the 60s, it's probably more likely to assume she just hears about you going on about arcades.

Which she doesn't mind, even if the games seem completely absurd to her.

Old Sister Imperator (she/her)

She will die of embarassment if anyone finds out, but she's a sucker for old Pokémon games.

She even has the first generation Pokédex memorized.

You leard that by accident while looking for mods for Minecraft and she automatically quotes the Bulbasaur Pokédex entry as you gush over the cute creature.

She's embarassed to say the least. You totally use it as blackmail on her.

And pay for it in the bedroom.

Okay, I finished Shadow's story. And I have thoughts. Mainly:

Overall, I enjoyed it. I think as a way to catch everyone up on Shadow's story and who he is as a character, it did great. It was heavy on exposition, but it's assuming most people haven't played SAB-Heroes-STH '05. Fair enough.

It just felt short. I just wish the cutscenes were longer, and I wish there was more Maria and Gerald and Shadow. The interactions we got with Maria were very similar to what we got in Dark Beginnings. It felt more like a refresher rather than a much awaited closure, but I'll take the closure we got and the reestablishment of Shadow's character.

I think I just would have liked if the story had a few more cutscenes dealing with Shadow, Maria, and Gerald's relationships rather than them trying to figure out what was going on and Maria repeating things said in Dark Beginnings. But that's just me.

I think Dark Beginnings was so amazing and it set my expectations very high, set a specific tone, and had threads that Gens wasn't planning on continuing. I think Gens also set up threads that it dropped too though, like, you know, the whole "maybe I can save them from their fate" thing that got mentioned, forgotten, and mentioned again that was only otherwise minimally discussed in the little snippets of conversation in the over world.

Why was Big there and those two robots? There weren't any other characters relevant to Shadow that could be there? Like Abraham? Or, hell, toss Silver in since he wasn't in the original.

Gameplay wise, it was super fun. It felt very clean. I like the direction Frontiers has set for future gameplay. I think it was a little easy, but maybe that's just because I'm an adult and just played a bunch of old games that have old game jank lol.

Would have loved to see more Rouge and Omega, but I'm glad they're setting up for Team Dark to return in future installments. I'll fucking take that.

I've said it already, but the use of Radical Highway and the symbolism of it was probably my favorite part. I don't know why they had Frontiers level though??? Like, why not one from HIS GAME? Instead of one from a game he's not even in??? Odd choice. Maybe they could have done one of the flashback ARK levels? That could have given us some juicy cutscenes.

Also just want to appreciate the fact that the first time Shadow defeated Black Doom it was as Super Shadow. This time is was all Shadow, no emeralds required.

I also like the confirmation that Shadow was not meant to be a weapon originally. I don't think that's always been super clear. Doom wanted a warrior of course, but Gerald going insane was the nail in the coffin. I would have liked to see more of Shadow's feelings towards Gerald on that, though I did like when Shadow first sees Gerald up close he backs away, and almost looks a bit frightened, until he realizes this is Gerald from before the ARK incident.

I think they could have added a bit more. I think that's my overall opinion. Hopefully DLC will add a smidge more? Maybe?

I really did enjoy it. I just wanted to jot down all of my thoughts!

Edit: I don't want this to read as super critical! I think I had very specific expectations for it and I'd like to replay it without those expectations now. I really think it's great overall!

Name: UTBS!Sans aka Black * Age: 35 * Height: 5'1'' (1,55m) * Birthday: 5 June (2023) Here it's a fictional character so everything is NOT real! Black has a bipolar disorder and a dissociative identity disorder (did), it's not possible to have both. Usually for the did, the alters have different names, genders, ages, here it's only the personality that changed but some alters may prefer to be called by their real name (depressive states).

⚠ Trigger warning: sensitive content ⚠

RESET 160: During the 160th reset even if Sans will have many depressive episodes and manic phases, he still has the same personality as before in euthymic state. It's at the end of this reset that Sans will have a good or bad ending. In the good ending, he will no longer have bipolar disorder and the only difference with Classic Sans is in his appearance, his statistics and his health. But in the bad ending, his personality will become very unstable as he gains levels and he will also suffer from dissociative identity disorder. At level 20 in the euthymic state Sans/Black will have more of a neutral expression and will almost no longer feel any emotions. It's only in a depressive phase that he becomes "himself" again. UTBS!Sans/Black Euthymic/Manic Phase/Alter (lv20): This guy has a psychopatic personality (dark triad). He's very dangerous.. If you want to survive, show him that you can be useful to him and above all never upset him!! He's sadistic and will not hesitate to make you live your worse nightmare.This alter was born when Black reached level 20. He's the representation of all the hatred accumulated by Chara which made her soul black. Unlike the Manic and Manic/Depressive phases, this one does not consume much magic, his appearance is not limited and the others alters can't regain control. The only way is to use a tranquilizer injection. Fortunately it's frequency of appearance is very low BUT his body gets used to the product over time, which means that the doses must be increased. So, if no one can save him in time, it will no longer be possible to help him!! A happy ending is possible for him but Black needs to return to his timeline and he agrees to do a reset. His brother, his father and Frisk are looking for him. Papyrus/White is currently in the Omega Timeline. Gaster came into contact with the timeline parallel to his own to meet his double. Frisk asked Sans (Good ending) for help to save him.

Undertale: Black Soul Timeline - summary: The Black Soul Timeline is an alternate timeline of the original set in the Undertale universe. There are two of them: one is the good ending and the other is the bad ending.  In both timelines, after Chara's death, her soul of determination was filled with hatred as she saw innocent children being killed. She thought the Monsters were different but she was wrong... Since then she wants to avenge them.  One day, a human named Frisk arrived, she possessed a powerful soul of dt similar to her own and was able to see her. Chara observed her during all her journeys. Frisk used her reset power to try save Asriel. At the 53rd reset, Chara offered to lend her her body so she could help save him. Frisk accepted but Chara lied to her, she didn't want to save Asriel but took advantage of her soul of dt to make the Monsters suffer. She couldn't do anything to stop her... During this same reset, the fun value was 66. At each start of reset before Frisk arrived, Sans worked on his father's latest creation, a machine which had the function of creating portals to different timelines or universes. For the first time he had managed to open a portal that led to the Void, that's how Gaster was able to warn him that Chara had taken possession of Frisk. Unfortunately for him he couldn't get able out the Void because it wasn't the "right" portal. So that Gaster could stay in contact with Sans, he gave him a fragment of his soul. It's thanks to this fragment that he will remember at each new reset what happened previously. Sans tried to find a solution to protect his brother and bring Frisk back with the help of Gaster but he didn't succeed. He gave up many times... it's his father who push him to persevere.  It is only at reset 159 that he will be able to stop Chara, but at what cost?...

My favorite funny thing on occasion is to imagine sugar baby/daddy dynamics with Tails ships

Something so comical about the fact that Sonic the hedgehog (hedgehog without a home) would be sugar baby to Tails (fox who has so many labs. Like who needs to worry about money when your little buddy pays for stuff heroing doesn't and keeps his bases fully stocked with ingredients for your favorite food

Or like, Tails, who basically ended up being Sonic's sugar daddy, accidentally gaining more sugar babies by virtue of making sure certain characters don't inconvenience people (basically playing damage control)

While I think it's Rouge mainly who would probably suppliment the money for Omega and Shadow (if need be) and play this sort of role for them, it's still funny to imagine Tails insisting on setting them up in hotel rooms because Shadow was just about to sleep outside and saw no problem with that (and because Tails can't very well just let Shadow do that)

A friend of mine also moved that, under this framework, after the idw issues where the Chaotix took a job helping Knuckles get an artifact back, Tails would just silently patch them rent money as an apology for the whole thing.

Rich inventor Tails accidentally gaining bfs out of the main cast as his sugar babies because he's assumed responsibility for their antics and cares about them too much to just let them live life the way they have been. Do you see my vision?

So, i realize its been a minute since i yelled about prime but i just gotta ask.

Can someone please explain to me why the hell they chose BIG THE CAT instead of say, idk, OMEGA???

Last i checked (granted, i havent looked at the sonic fandom in ages so i could be wrong and thats okay!) EVERYONE hated Big. I still hate big, his levels are the WORST part of sonic adventure. To the point that his shit is the only thing i have left in that fucking game.

If they wanted someone from the games, Omega was right there! Hes even in the same games as big! More even! Sure, he might not work in the Maze but then just... leave him out?? Omega's still pretty big in the comics, hes a fan favorite, and like. I need to see Rebel and New Yolk!Omega together.

They did him so dirty. Idk why sega is like "eh team dark sucks we shouldn't use em anywhere." They nerfed the hell out of shadow and forgot Omega. At least Rouge gets some recognition, but how much of that is the fact shes the only other girl character besides Amy everyone likes/is older. Cream is liked, but then they have to remember chao exist and shes like 6, idk what the badger from Boom's deal is (if she was in the games or not. But sega wants us to forget sonic boom and yknow thats valid) they remember Blaze every now and again. (Ik theres a bunch in the comic, but im counting ones in the actual games)

But noooo lets add fucking BIG. Why not espio? Or Vector? I would be less mad at Charmy. Hell, fucking use Jet or any of the other birds from Riders! Or silver! Justice for Silver man, he had such a shitty game and now sega doesn't like saying he was a thing.

Anyway, i'm mad that there was no team dark interaction in Prime. Only that little bit at the end with Shadow and Rouge. No omega, no reaction from shadow about ghosty Rouge (fight me, they're friends! Thats not even a headcannon!) nothing. Gah.

I miss Omega :( but god i hate playing heroes its so cluncky. I'll do what i must for my boy.

I'm curious, do you have specific favorite voice actors for the Sonic characters? (Like just the main few, Sonic, Shadow, Tails, etc.) if so, may we know your favorites?

Brace yourselves, this is gonna be a long one so under the cut.

Jun'ichi Kanemaru is THE standard for Sonic. The guy is passionate about the role and captures him perfectly. Plus, he's a great singer! The English VA that came closest to matching him is Jason Griffith. (honorable mention to Devon Mack. Low as my opinion is of Prime, Devon's voice is actually pretty suitable for Sonic. Would like to hear him in a better product!)

The late Chikao Ōtsuka for Eggman was wonderful, but I have zero complaints with Mike Pollack. Really, no matter what style or tone he's portrayed Eggman in, he's always done it superbly. I'd say of all English VA's that worked in this series, Mr. Pollack's probably been the one who's NEVER had a miss. Guy's got incredible range even in his work outside of Sonic (using this as a chance to shill the Pluto Anime since he starred in it. GO WATCH IT PLEASE.)

Tails is really really REALLY hard to mess up. His voice actresses have typically been great at capturing him (save for OVA Tails who talks like he has a cold). Coleen's a fine Tails and suitable replacement for Amy Palant but I may still prefer Palant just because she's the nostalgic one for me being in all the 2000's games plus Sonic X.

Knuckles voice preference is a tough call. His VA needs to be able to play up both his aggressive and gentler sides. It's a toss up between Dan Green and his current VA Dave B Mitchell. Mitchell has been doing good work in the animated shorts so I like him and he's the best we've had since Dan moved on. His Japanese VA, Nobutoshi Kanna, is great as well for the same reasons. :)

Amy's best actress is still her JPN VA, Taeko Kawata (who is also a lovely singer!) Lisa Ortiz to this day is STILL her best ENG VA. She captured Amy's youthful, cutesy appeal but can IMMEDIATELY switch to her assertive side naturally. Fantastic range and it's too bad that Amy's assertiveness has been subdued so much lately that this can't be fully appreciated anymore.

Cream's had far fewer options to choose from. I like both her actresses in JPN (Sayaka Aoki) and ENG (Rebecca Honig) honestly. I do like the almost whispery gentleness to her ENG voice particularly. Just helps her feel very soft and sweet.

Shadow's JPN VA, Kōji Yusa, is so good. You really can't go wrong here. For the ENG VA, this might be a bit controversial because while I appreciate David Humphrey as Shadow's debut in SA2, I'm still partial to Jason Griffith purely because once he got accustomed to Shadow as a character, he really elevated the role. I think his performance in 06 was one of the best moments for the character overall.

Rouge might one of the few times where I actually prefer her current ENG voice actress, Karen Strassman, to her older one. Her JPN VA, Rumi Ochiai, is THE standard tho so Karen just suits her best as a close match! Youthful yet still mature and her flirty quality doesn't sound too forced.

Omega's JPN VA (Taiten Kusunoki) IS SO AMAZING. It's hilariously deeper than I expected but still robotic so something about it just WORKS. His ENG VA is alright too. But I just love the JPN Voice, I don't know why.

SPOILERS FOR SONIC 3

Long post!!!!

Yesterday I saw Sonic 3 and GOSH IT WAS SO GOOD ESPECIALLY the post credit scene where Amy saved Sonic OUGHHH but the 4th movie is gonna come out in 2027 and I really can’t wait for that 💔 (also 2026 is kinda closer now so yay batman 2?) I hope in the 5th movie they’ll release Rouge and Omega since they seem to release 2 characters in one movie. I’m so excited 4 Metal Sonic & Amy ESPECIALLY Amy!!! (Ilyt Metal Sonic but I wanted to see Amy for so long) AND in the post-post credit scene we saw that Shadow is Alive so maybe Eggman is also alive?? Oh and on an unrelated note I saw Superman 2025 movie trailer in the theaters which also made me extra excited. The more I watch the trailer the more cool it is I can’t wait for July 11. Anyways I’m VERY excited for Amy.

Also it was very sad especially the flashback w Maria and Shadow oughh they were just kids 💔😭 I lwk wanted for Amy to come in this movie cuz in the games she was the one who redempted (did I spell that right??) Shadow. But the timeline in the movie universe is a lot more different and it wouldn’t make sense for Amy to redempt him in the same movie that she meets Sonic.

My favorite scene in the entire movie was when Knuckles said pika-pika. That was actually very funny and the entire time while I was watching the movie I couldn’t WAIT for him to say it.

also the part where Shadow attacked Tom and Sonic finding out was SO SAD especially Shadow’s expression while watching Sonic’s anger and sadness. He looked like he regretted that a lot, and that whole scene itself was just oughdhdhhd. The way Sonic was begging for Tom the wake up and Shadow having flashbacks of Maria’s death and sympathizing Sonic at that moment was very sad.

And when he saw Sonic beating him up in anger, trying to destroy him, the part where he said to him “I thought you cared for him, you’re just like me” (or something something along those lines) that was so sad because most of his sympathy from earlier was gone because he thought that Sonic was ending up like him and he already hated himself for what he become and now that he thought he turned someone like him by killing their loved one and he couldn’t sympathize no more because he hated himself and he would hate Sonic if he was like him too.

He thought that Sonic cared for Tom the way that Shadow cared for Maria, and he thought that Sonic wouldn’t do the decisions he did when he lost someone he cared for, but he nearly did. That’s why Shadow said those things, he was disappointed. Not in Sonic, but in himself for what he did.

Gosh my brain hurts from trying to explain and I didn’t even explain it exactly correctly but that’s okay. Anyway I’m still thinking about Knuckles saying pika-pika.

Well, I started reading “The M Word” because of you, so congrats on that. Do you have any other fic recommendations that you feel are under rated or flew under everyone’s radar?

Hmm, sure, I can bust out a few real quick!

I would 100% recommend everything from @wonderinc-sonic. Literally their fics are so underrated it HURTS. My particular favorites are Serial Number, which writes Omega so well that I use it as a reference point for how I write him, and then their Post- Cyber Virus series. The latter is a very unique and hard-hitting series about the Sonic robots being forced to take organic forms, and let me tell you that as a mentally ill person who's always related to robots more than humans, reading how their struggles are written in this series quite literally knocked the wind out of me. Every time this author comes out with a new fic I am continually impressed with what they can do with their prose!!!

Other underrated fics I like from different authors are:

"Do Badniks Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Sinnamon, for some fantastic and very in-character Team Dark hurt/comfort.

"For the Best" by Imaginaria for an absolutely perfect hurt no comfort regarding Metal Sonic's voice (or lack thereof). I also like this author's other SFW fics, but if you check out their profile, make sure to sort by that!

"you made me, and i love you" by sketchjii, for some wonderful angsting about Maria (because that's the trend I'm on apparently)

"Beauty is in the Beholder" by Fumiku. Some of Fumiku's other Metamy works got the attention they deserve, but I feel like this one, featuring the rare take of Metal and Amy already being together when the story starts, is criminally underrated for its wonderfully realistic romantic themes.

"Chrysanthemum" by pastelspindash for an absolutely wonderful take on a more rebellious Maria and how Shadow remembers her as a whole person.

For my last suggestion, I'll recommend an absurdly good crossover that sounds insane but PLEASE trust me: "Hell on Mobius" by DoomFox. It's a Sonic and Doom crossover. Even if you hardly know anything about Doom, you have to read it. It's so fascinating with some genuine emotion in there. I love this fic to pieces and for how good it is it's criminally underrated.
