Since I haven't had a chance to really delve into how my Deadplate OC's really look in A Loveless Meal (except for Daniel), I decided to give some attention to the adorable OC couple that may get their own one-shot some day but for right now are just side characters in Vincent and Rody's story

First up is Michel, Vincent's ex who now acts as one of his closest friends and his sole voice of reason. 10/10, this lawyer would get you pardoned for nearly any crime if your name is either Vincent or Rody, or if you were ready to pay exorbitant lawyer fees

He ties his hair into a low ponytail when he's working and can most often be seen wearing a snazzy suit. In his down time, it's dress shirts and pants. Unlike Vincent, he smiles even when he's angry (a habit he picked up in court), so good luck on reading him.

He's got very light blonde hair, blue eyes, and skin a little less tan than Rody's.

This one's hard. There's a lot of characters that a lot of people love in VnC. I think maybe Misha. After that part in the amusement park, it seems like everyone in the fandom changed their mind about Misha. But...did we all forget he's just as traumatized as Vanitas was? Went through relatively the same things, and Vani--while still doing good--is still a morally grey character?

Misha is being used, that much is clear. I love the smol boy.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer:

Cut from the dub: THE FACT THAT THIS IS A FLASHBACK.

God this confused me as a teenager. Why were they in regular clothes first and then suddenly in armour? Why did they pose on a podium, something that is never done outside actual award ceremonies? It felt so unnatural.

The dub uses the flashback footage for two things, first to have Brad and AJ characterise the four Europeans as bladers, the way they like to do (remember the dub sets up all tournament matches as if we the audience are watching a sports broadcast at home, complete with stat screens and bitbeast analysis), and second, to create the Majestics team. In the Japanese version, these boys do not actually form a team in season one, though we assume they eventually will.

Also, check out Johnny “I won’t team up with strangers, but I’ll sleep over and hang out and have weirdly intense feelings about them” McGregor.

Winter Games Event!

Cynthia has divided the visitors of the villa into three teams to compete in a series of three to five Challenges  to see which faction will come out on top! The winning faction will get… a wish on the Dragon Balls provided by Bulma! So depending on which team wins we may see a very unique outcome to this prize distribution. Each team will cooperate by committee to have the best result in the given challenge and a poll will be organized so YOU can decide who did the best for each round! Nobody told me of this classic war film which has a truckload of these legendary actors init. Directed by Sir Richard Attenborough no less!

Anyways, I’ve seen it. It was pretty good, albeit a bit too long winded in parts.

- Young and uber handsome Robert Redford was a real standout as an cool and calm American solider. A combination of good look and character.

- Ryan O’Neal was terrible in this, as in all things I’ve seen of him. He was outacted at every turn by everyone.

- Anthony Hopkins with a mustache !! A substantial part for the young, smol and quite valiant British officer.

- Micheal Cain and Sean Connery were flawless here. Too little of Gene Hackman to judge.

- Nice to see Edward Fox. But there was an uneven feeling to see all these actor clashing together in one film. There were some very classical actings like what Edward Fox did and some modern naturalistic, not necessarily Method, actings like what Redford did. And those who fell somewhere in the middle, like Hopkins, Connery, Caine, Bogarde and even Sir Olivier.

i love how every character in FMAB looks like something and it's actually other thing. like, Ed looks like smol angry shrimp but it's actually a genious alchemist, Alphonse looks like a cold armor but it's actually a cinnamon roll, and Ling looks like a comedy relief but it's actually a fucking badass

Roland has such a good heart. Literally the only adult in this chapter who treated Misha with kindness. I can’t help but wonder how the smol’s life might have gone differently if Olivier hadn’t dragged Roland away when he did.

thank you so much for thinking of us, anon! so, I absolutely adore my PERFECT, PRECIOUS LITTLE SQUISH (😩🥺🥰) but he's currently very smol and very much a handful. he doesn't nap during the day like, at all, so I kind of live on a loop of tiny increments tending to his needs and I'm not 100% sure when I'll be able to commit to a weekly schedule again
