GrojBand Comeback Tour - Nick Mallory

(Note: It always bothered me that Nick has always been an integral part in the success of GrojBand, and yet is never seen to have any real connection with them. The only thing that comes to close to that is his small interactions with Corey. And not only that, I also thought that his character was a bit inconsistent as he's seen to be this really cool and considerate guy in one scene, but acts a bit selfish and judgemental in the next. So in this, I thought about making him the wiseman that listens to everyone's problems and gives out advice. He'll be like GrojBand's cool older brother that can always be depended on, though the thought would only apply to Corey at first and slowly over time the rest of the members would start to see Nick like that too. This kind and generous big brother aspect was done to reflect and contrast to Trina, like an angel to a devil.)

Role: Originally Corey got Nick along for the ride in the tour marathon as a fake roadie so that it would make his sister Trina crazy and follow them all over the country so that they would never run out of lyrics to use for the competition. But surprisingly Nick became a solid foundation for GrojBand's integrity and moral support as he not only tended to all their equipment, but also all their emotional distress in very hopeless situations. Though a lot of his advice involves him talking in third person and whatever random thing he was doing that day, there's always a truth and meaning behind his words that always seemed to make them feel better.

Though he deeply involves himself in the band's affairs, he always runs off in every city they go to and be on his own mini-adventures. But whether that be tending the elderly, going to festivals, finding lost animals, solving crime scenes, being one with nature, or etc., he would always make it to every one of their performances no matter what so that everything goes off well and support them.

Bio: Nick has always been this type of person who feels obligated to help everyone and everything around him, just wanting to do what he can for everyone to be happy. But because of his many years of kind acts, plus his outwards appearance and almost superhuman capabilities, everyone placed him on a pedestal and treated him like a higher being. Though he never wanted any kind of special treatment, he didn't have the heart to say anything that would offend or deflect anyone's appreciation towards him. So for a long time he just played along and accepted a lonely role that pretty much isolated him from everyone else. 

Well that was until he met a very odd and energetic musician that came up to him nonchalantly and asked him to be part of his many series of schemes and plans to be famous. That day, Nick wasn't sure if it was out of curiosity or concern, but it was the first time in a very long time where he could speak to someone in even terms and getting a few laughs in. Since then, he's been keeping a close eye on Corey and his path to fame and fortune.

Grojband grown up au hcs

☆ They all end up living together in a nice house they ended up finding outside of Peaceville

☆ Kin and Kon ended up getting a dog for them (it was all mostly Kon's idea tho)

☆ Corey and Laney are dating (the twins helped them get together)

☆ They have movie nights on Saturday's, tho Corey falls asleep during the first 5 minutes of the movie since it bores him to death

☆ Kin and Laney still do the 2 bucks a day thing

☆ Laney always updates Corey's playlist about them when she finds songs she enjoys and knowing how they basically like the same genre in music, puts them there (Corey enjoys it tho)

☆ Kin, Kon, and Corey always plan a bros night when Laney is out of the house or having plans elsewhere

☆ When they watch scary movies, Kin is usually the one to freak out the most

☆ Laney does most of the shopping for groceries (bc the boys attention span is so shit)

☆ Laney ended up getting a cat for her and Corey. The cat mostly stays in their room bc of how energetic Kin and Kons dog is

☆ Corey still stinks at writing lyrics

☆ They always reminisce about Trina and is like "Hey guys remember when we did this thing to embarass the ever living SHIT out of Trina" and they would just laugh about it

☆ Corey fs still stays in touch with Nick

☆ They dont really have a rivalry with The Newmans anymore it was just a phase to hate each other like they did in middle school and just moved on from it when they got older

☆ Sometimes Corey secretly writes songs for Laney and the twins tease him about it

☆ Laney is fs the mom of the group tho

☆ Kin has a polaroid camera that he loves to take pictures of with him and the gang and sometimes just them doing stupid shit so he can make memories out of those times

☆ Kon definately cries during those sappy sad movies

☆ Laney and Larry still keep in touch

☆ One time the twins tried to scare Laney and it ended up with them both being punched in the face

☆ All in all they're really happy living together

Auughhhh grojband reboot where Corey and Laney are on the asexuality spectrum! Also Corey learns to write lyrics and Trina gets character development! Also making all the characters more dimensional! Also their older just like in the concept art, and non of them are white <3 Corey and Trina are Indigenous, Laney is native, Irish and Taiwanese! Still lots of the same meta humour and good songs, though less haha fart jokes. Also Laney trying to get over her feeling for Corey while Corey realizes he has feelings for Laney! Both of them being confused about the world of attraction, also Kin also has a thing for Laney. Also Kon is nonbinary💪🏽!

She has a heart shaped hair clip, personalised with the Grojband Logo on it, and a bracelet, both gifts from Corey.

I also gave her freckles oops

I see you when you are very very young. You look to be 8-12 years. I see that you are rather slim, are wearing blue shorts and have tan skin? (it is dusk so it might just be the light) Feels like a summer memory. I think youre holding up a sign? Maybe you had a lemonade stand or something! 

Looks like lenny may have liked vanilla icecream the most. Youre definitely at some sort of snack shack or parlor as you said! The people there like you so they give you free drinks and snacks sometimes. 

Your parents may have had a lot of conflict? Maybe an older sibling?

yeah, and honestly in addition, i’ve got a band that's really cool. stealing words from you know who, playing gigs when we can, TRYING to impress our fans. BUT. older sister goes berserk. her temper is her biggest quirk. however ive got a plan that might just work.

so basically, we’re gonna rock and we're gonna roll. and to finish that all off, finally, we are Grojband.

??? it surprises me that a lot of people don't know this, but Timmy is an average kid that no one understands. Mom and Dad and Vicky always giving him commands. BUT the doom and gloom up in his room is broken instantly by his magic little fish who grant his every wish, cause in reality they are his oddparents, fairly oddparents (wands and wings, floaty crowny things). Oddparents, fairly oddparents. Really mod, pea pod, buff bod, hot rod. Obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guava juice, giant snake, birthday cake, large fries, chocolate shake. Oddparents, fairly oddparents.

In conclusion, it flips your lid when you are a kid with fairly oddparents.

yo np!!! and im not sure also, im pretty bad keeping up with asks!!!!!

but basically really huge chunk of it is little witch academia/yoshinari you!!!!!! the first ova come out when i start drawing and i was so in love with the style of the show, i pretty much just draw my fave chars in lwa style!!! honestly i think i still have my screenshot folder back then where i look at every frame to copy expressions and poses and stuff HAHA

other then lwa MAN theres a lot but i cant remember right now!!!! other super big inspirations for my art would be rc9gn and dude thats my ghost, the shows style so GOOD and i really appreciate the eyebrows in em!!! tomomi sasaki/fujimoto hideaki have great hotblood linework and style, the simple cute style of charles schulz, various cartoons like mlaatr, grojband, adventure time, etc!!!!!! and also anime like digimon, dragonball, medabots, sailor moon have nice style!!!!! 

EDIT: I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT HARVEST MOON AND ITS ONE OF MY BIGGEST BIGGEST INFLUENCE. IM ASHAMED OF MYSELF. BUT YEAH harvest moon style is so so perfect and good and it have so much charm to it!!!! the art in the mineral town series and older games is my fave!!!

What I don't understand is I've been in a few other fandom before. There are people I still stay in contact with from the Hey Arnold! fandom I was in long ago. We still care about each other after we grew up. I was in the Teen Titans fandom too. It got my artwork in the comic like three or four times. Lol. The Total Drama fandom however, eh... why? Why have I run into so many angry and rude fans? I've actually been bullied by three separate people, one who supposedly was a mod of the wiki when it was popular. Not for anything useful just that I was a few years older than they were or because I liked Courtney. The Grojband fandom so far is pleasant. Hopefully it stays that way. I do still like Total Drama. Grojband is more fun. Looped kinda has no fandom.
