Bryce felt pretty good. Music drifted through the air from Levi's guitar, and he was grilling his signature BBQ ribs. What more, he was in the company of his favourite people: his beautiful wife, sister, and best mate. "I still can't get used to this, I'm a grandad!" Bryce laughed heartily at the table while the parents engaged in animated chatter about their kids. Soon they were gushing over photos of Renee, Robbie, Kiana and of course the twins. "Honey, two more weeks and we'll meet the twins!" Leilani kissed her husband and smiled from ear to ear. They couldn't wait for the day to come!

Surprise @duusheen and @estah!!! I'm sorry that these guys have not appeared in my posts for a whole freakin year 😱 (esp Bryce and Leilani TERRIBLE IK!!!). I've slowed down my legacy for storytelling and once you move on a gen, the previous ones don't feature as much 🤧 I'm trying to include more sims that are relevant (e.g Uncle Billy 🫡) but unfortunately not everyone is involved. Do you have anything you've been thinking on but just haven't made a post about it yet? Also I'm really enjoying your fic!

I have a few things but it's likely mostly headcanons that I consider somewhat disconnected from my analysis.

Curly's parents had him old, only child, died shortly after he graduated and got the pony express position. It was the last big thing they saw him do which is a reason he stayed for so long.

Doesn't admit how much their death affected him

Jimmy has a largish family. One of the cases of too many kids to keep tract of, parent never really noticed any of them nor their behaviors

Anya lived in a lot of houses growing up, regular supportive family that just struggled to support themselves.

Became a nurse largely to avoid their financial struggles but mostly because she felt too many people weren't being cared for and advocated for in the world properly

Swansea likes high top sneakers most. Likes how snug they fit and how they shield his ankles at work

Curly has a bit of a caffeine problem since he can’t sleep. Can occasionally be found wandering the ship at “night” when he had some too late or just couldn’t sleep.

Daisuke knows a little about a lot of things. Starts conversations with “did you know” a lot but please don’t ask him deeper questions

Curly has known Jimmy longer but has worked with Anya and Swansea longer, met them during his middle years, met Jimmy shortly before college.

Swansea rents a house, Daisuke’s family lives in a big nice apartment, Curly has a condo, Anya live in a small one bedroom apartment and Jimmy has a studio.

Curly's home is very disconcerting. It's too normal to a like uncanny degree.

Anya is ambidextrous but prefers her left.

Anya and Curly are both not native English speakers so occasionally they forget words and bond over the mutual mocking they get from the rest of the crew. Daisuke knows some Japanese but is still learning, never picked it up as a kid

Only Swansea and Daisuke know how to drive, Earth in my mind is very post capitalist so only older people and like the extremely wealthy can afford cars.

It's also like walkable just due to how many businesses are in your face. Probably strict living vs shopping districts

I have more but the way that I headcanon about them is like too long.

The more I think about it, the more impossible it seems to be that Thomas just never existed.

You're telling me Maverick took this disguise, came to the school, had Jasmine force these kids into hell, and then proceed to THINK this??? I understand that the writing before wasn't fleshed out, but c'mon, how can you explain this away 😭🙏 Personally, only explanation to this is that either

A) Maverick offed the original Thomas and took his place

or

B) Maverick had been in disguise the whole time

or

C) He kidnapped the original Thomas and took his place after the incident happened.

I can buy this flowing more easily into the Maverick is Thomas confirmation since Maverick would obviously be confuzzled by this new piece of evidence. And yet it can also be seen as a "Oh shit the teacher noticed!!" That's a good flow of continuity that I appreciate.

Again, I understand that the beginning wasn't as fleshed out....but editing it to fit would be too much work...so it's probably easier to find a way to make it fit

Personally, option A and C are the better routes to fix this plot hole

"Why not B?" Cause that causes more plot holes 😭 like why was bro there in the first place? Idk if Red had planned to fix that plot hole already, so I'm excited to see what more lore we'll learn about Maverick, and why he was the kids' teacher for months.

(If it changes the story...that's fair to leave the plot hole...but it'd be kind of a bummer for details like that to just be left out just because it doesn't fit the story anymore..).
