While I'm like, yeah this is some old stuff I still feel an attachment to these art pieces. By getting into Jojo my art improved significantly that year during the pandemic, so I can't help but still look at them fondly :]

Because it’s true, from the moment we began to fight this evil together. I knew that I loved you. You were shoved down my throat, became the enemy, then a quick friend. Even though you may be rough, even though sometimes you don’t understand me. Even if we don’t always get along. I know that somewhere deep in my soul, along with the beating heart, that rouses the power from within me. I know that the same blinding feeling has your name written right next to it. Even if you’re gone. Even if you’ve died. Even if I have to continue with the next big fight without you. I know that I love you. And when I finally come home, and you’re not there. I will feel it. Your name haunts the hallways and doorframes of my heart. To know, I will never see your face again. To know that you will never again be waiting for me around the next corner. To know you will never again call my name. That is the worst pain of it all. At night, I’ll wake up shouting for you. My hand will be outstretched, grasping at the dark, as your face fades from my view. And when I see you in nature, in the sun, in the moon, in the stars. I will know that you loved me, too.
