The sound of your feet squishing in the thick mud is the only sound you hear outside of the rushing of blood that runs in your ears from your anger. Your goal is in sight, a lantern lit and casting shadows against canvas confirming that the one person you want to see right now is still awake. You're not just mad, you're annoyed and a little offended.

The moment you reach the tent you were so adamant to reach, you don't hesitate to pull back the flap and step in. You're met with a back turned to you as the owner leans over a table on both arms to look at something. He doesn't say anything, but you know he knows you're here.

“Levi, what the hell?” You raise a piece of paper clutched between tight fingers, crinkled from being balled up in the minutes it took you to find the captain.

“Why are you still here? Head back to Shiganshina.” Levi's voice is low. Not in a threatening way, just tired. Exhausted. Even in his white undershirt, you can see his back muscles tense as his fingers grip the edge of the desk.

“I'm not going.” You press, digging your heels into the soft floor of Levi's tent.

“Yes, you are. It's an order.”

“I'm not going back. You can't make me.”

“The hell I can't. Are you really about to fight a direct order?” Levi finally turns around to face you, arms crossed against his chest as he scowls at you. Steel gray eyes cut at you with annoyance and you're quick to shoot back daggers of stubborn defiance.

“Le-"

“No. I don't want you with us. I said you're staying here.” Levi seethes.

You huff heavily as you rip up his written request to return home, letting the pieces flutter to the ground. You turn on your heels and storm out of the tent, your hands balling into fists so tight that your nails dig into your palms with angry tears pricking in the corners of your eyes. He can order you all he wants but you were not out of options. Commander Hange’s tent was your next destination.

If looks could kill, Captain Levi would have murdered you ten times over. You didn't have to look his way to know that his icy glare bore holes in the back of your head as you both waited in the shadows for any sign that Eren needed backup.

“Does the back of my head look appealing to you?” You retort dryly, making sure your voice was quiet enough to not be found out but loud enough for Levi's sensitive ears to pick up.

“Hardly.” His gaze doesn't leave though, that much you know.

“I don't regret coming.”

“Tch, I'm sure you don't.”

“Are you going to be mad at me all night?” Your fingers tap nervously on the metal of your guns, the noise of it echoing down the alley you and Levi were in. Not at Levi's attitude to you, but for the fight that is already ensuing around you.

“Depends. Will you zip to a roof and away from the battle until it's time to leave?”

“No.”

“Then yes, I will be mad at you all night.”

You don't respond back to that. You really don't regret coming but Levi was sure to make every moment hell. From the silent treatment on the way to Libero to the dirty glances and tongue clicks thrown your way.

Fortunately, it seems you didn't need to wait very long as you watched the jaw titan leap off the roof and onto Eren's titan – its jaws already bearing down onto his neck. You finally glance back at Levi to get the okay and you watch something flash in his eyes before they narrow at you.

“He took too long. It's time to go.”

As you're about to fly up to the roof, you feel Levi grip your arm in tight fingers.

“Don't you dare die. If there's any order you're going to obey, follow that.” He doesn't wait for you to answer before throwing himself out into the raging battlefield.

You followed orders – you didn't die, though you're not sure how.

As all fights went, things happened too fast. Fellow scouts whirred around you as you tried to get from point A to point B, shooting anyone that got in your way without the scout emblem on their uniform. There were too many close calls but overall, you were doing well. Shooting was always your strong suit… but maneuvering?

You thought you were clear to zip to where Levi stood on top of the fallen beast titan's body with Zeke Jaeger in his grip. He's growling something down to the worn out Marleyan when he looks up to the noise of your ODM gear.

At first, his heavy lidded eyes glance at you impassively. But in a split second, they widen in shock as something shoves you to the side with enough force that your hooks release from the brick building you were latched onto. You're flung backwards into a pile of rubble, a plume of dust exploding on impact.

You're so disoriented that you don't feel the pain that shoots through your whole body. Your ears ring as you attempt to move but your limbs are filled with lead. It takes what feels like years for some senses to come back to you. The first thing you feel is the soreness of being thrown out of the air. The next is the sharp and agonizing pain originating from your left shoulder and radiating through your bones. Even though it's muffled, you hear your name being yelled out. Cracking an eye open, you see a shadow of a figure coming straight at you with stars dancing around them.

“Dumbass!” Levi shouts, his voice warbled from the high pitch whine in your ears. You attempt to open your eyes fully, struggling to do so. Through heavy blinks, you see gray eyes blown wide in panic.

“M'fine Levi.” Is all you're able to get out before your vision fails you and your senses cut out once again.

It feels as if you blinked and suddenly you're transported somewhere else. The moment your eyes open, you're met with a sheer curtain blowing in the gentle breeze coming from the open window. Sunlight filters through in soft rays. You're propped up against multiple pillows and lying in a plush bed. Everything aches.

As you blink awake, you look down at the state you're in.

Your body is wrapped in white bandages that circle around your chest multiple times then around your shoulder, covering enough that a top wasn't needed. You're so stiff that you can't move very easily even if you wanted to. You think you feel something wrapping around your head as well, which throbs in pain. But you're breathing easily and every toe and finger wiggle without issue. You take a look at your surroundings next.

You're in a room that looks very familiar to you. Not like you've been in this room specifically, but the architecture is something you know. Wooden paneled walls, dark wood floors, basic furniture. You almost miss it as your eyes scan the room, but they double take back to the disheveled man sleeping in what looks to be a very uncomfortable chair in an even more uncomfortable position.

He's slouched all the way back with an arm draped over his eyes, soft snores escaping the pouty lips that sit agape. He's back in the regular scout uniform, straps and all. His green cape wraps around him, the only other sign of life outside of the soft noises he makes is the lift of his shoulders as he breathes.

“Levi?” Your voice comes out scratchy and hoarse, dry from the lack of moisture.

Levi's arm slips off and he sits up with a start, his eyes looking around in surprise until they fall on you. As if a weight lifts off his chest, his face relaxes at the sight of you. He's quick to stand up and move to the other side of the room where you are before sitting on the edge of the bed next to you. The sudden shift in weight moves your body and you can't help the wince that contorts your face as a hiss escapes between your clenched teeth.

“No, it's okay.” You assure when Levi moves to get up. He stays. Reaching over, he grabs the lukewarm glass of water that sits on the bedside table next to you and hovers it in front of your face. You get the hint and lean back more so he can tip it back for you, the water relieving the soreness in the back of your throat.

“Were you even thinking?” He asks once you're done. His eyebrows furrow, a look of concern laced with anxiety and a hint of anger pointed in your direction. He sets the glass back down on the wood with a ‘thunk'.

“I just thought you could use the backup.”

“I was fine. You should have gone to higher ground with the others.”

“I didn't want to sit idle while your back was open.”

“You know better than to worry about me. You're lucky the other brats were there to help grab the asshole because otherwise I-.”

“Levi, did you stay just to berate me?” Annoyance seeps into your tone as you lean back to stare at the white ceiling. Tears prick the corners of your eyes. From frustration at your situation. From the way Levi was talking to you. At yourself for making Levi so upset.

“I told you to stay here. You wouldn't have been hurt if you just stayed.”

“I was not okay with the idea of watching everyone go without me. If something happened while I was here twiddling my thumbs, I would never forgive myself.”

“And if you died, I would never have forgiven myself.”

“Why do you even care? Scouts join with the threat of dying looming over our heads all the time. I know what I signed up for.” Your eyes glare daggers into Levi's face, which stays deadpan as always.

“Because I care about you, dumbass.” Levi growls, standing up abruptly with his back to you. You can tell his arms are crossed even with the cape obscuring his upper body. He starts pacing between the desk and the bed.

“Pfft yeah okay, Captain.”

“Is it so hard to believe that I'd care about my team?”

“I'm not on your team and I didn't see you fighting to make anyone else stay home.”

“You're so dense. You know that?” Levi whips around to face you and you're shocked to find a much softer expression than what his tone indicated.

“I-"

You don't get another word in as your mouth is cut off by Levi striding over to you in a few short steps and leaning down to press his lips onto yours roughly. You instantly feel his frustration, so palpable on your tongue as he kisses you deeply.

It takes a moment for you to register what's happening and when you do, you don't hold back. Even though your body screams in agony, you pull your arms up and wrap them around Levi's neck to pull him closer as you mirror back the same intensity he was giving you.

Levi pulls away and tilts his head so that his cool forehead is resting against yours. He sighs. It's as if that pent up anger and fear he had chewing on his insides were now free, and all he felt was relief.

“I couldn't lose you. I thought if I pushed you to stay here, you would stay safe. Not saying I was right but…” He trails off.

“I'm sorry.” You whisper back, finally finding your voice.

Eventually he pulls away and sits back on the bed, staring straight ahead to the bare walls so that all you see is his side profile. His jaw tenses as he clenches it in thought. There's a soft pink dusting his cheeks from what you can tell.

“You don't need to apologize. I'm the one that's sorry, for not being honest about how I feel about you before we left. If I had, maybe you would have stayed. ”

“And how do you feel about me?”

Levi suddenly starts picking at an invisible string that must be hanging off his coat sleeve. You've never seen Levi so bashful, so shy. He doesn't even look at you as he mumbles away, voice barely audible.

“Don't make me say it.”

“These wounds may kill me, you know.” You tease.

“Tch, you're going to be fine.”

“Levi…” You say softly, reaching over to tug on his cape to get his attention. When he looks over to you, his expression looks wary like the night before the raid. Dark circles cut into the porcelain skin under his eyes which were droopy with exhaustion.

“I-I think I like you. I have for a while.”

“That much I can tell.” You retort, feeling your face bloom in heat at his adorable confession. Levi Ackerman could cut down twenty titans in the span of fifteen minutes, but he can't talk about his feelings. It was comical, in a very endearing way.

“Don’t tease me or I'll never open up to you again.” He threatens though his voice contains no malice.

“Okay, okay. But why did you wait so long to say anything?” You ask, raising an eyebrow.

“I thought if I just ignored the feeling, kept you at arms length, it would go away.”

“And did it?” A smirk tugs at your lips.

“Obviously not, stupid.”

You reach your hand out to Levi, palm open and fingers loose. He regards you once again, sighing heavily before taking it into his own. His skin is calloused from his years of ODM gear usage.

“I like you too, Levi.” You give him a lopsided grin when he looks into your eyes, searching for the same sincerity that you laced into your voice. You really did, and like him you didn't say anything for the longest time. Why though, you weren't sure. Maybe for the same reason. The room is quiet save for the distant chatter from outside the window, until Levi finally pipes up eventually.

“You know, we probably don't have time for something like this right now.” He watches you with apprehension. Like he was asking for you to refute that, not like he had to ask.

“Isn't that more reason to push for it if our time is so limited anyways?”

“We could lose each other so easily in this line of work.”

“If I'm going to die anyways, I might as well live it the way I want to. I'd like to spend the rest of it with you, if you'll have me.” This catches Levi off-guard. His lips purse at the thought, but he doesn't dismiss it. In fact, a smile tugs at the corners of his mouth after a moment.

“When I get back, we'll talk about it all.”

“So you are leaving. Is that why you're dressed in your uniform?” You frown.

“They're sending me to watch over the stupid monkey and there's no telling how long I'll be out there. I just didn't want to leave without making sure you were okay.”

“I'm going with you.” You shoot up, the pillows behind you toppling over. Despite the pain shooting throughout your system, you bite back the wince and attempt to throw your legs over the side of the bed.

“Don't even think about it! You're not going.” Levi grabs your leg and holds it down, stopping your momentum.

“And why not?”

“You didn't listen to me last time, listen to me now. You need to heal otherwise you're just a liability. Stay. Here.”

“You know, worry is a two way street. If we’re going to make this work, you need to be okay with me fretting over you too.” You point a finger between you and him to make the point. “I don't like the idea of you being out there with him.”

“I won't be alone, I'll be fine.”

“I'm going to need more than a ‘I'll be fine’, Levi.”

He leans towards you, both arms propped on either side of your hips and he's close enough you can smell the mint and tea leaves on his breath. There's a clarity in his eyes that wasn't there before, erasing any sign of exhaustion.

“I promise I'll be back. No matter what shape I'm in. Even if that asshole finds a way out of his shackles, I will find a way back to you.”

He leans in and kisses you again. This time softer, slower. One that sends tingles down your spine and into the tips of your toes. Before pulling away, he kisses the top of your head.

“And when I see you again, we will talk about us.”

The single irony here is that erm my OCs live in space traveling planet 2 planet 2 collect bounties and such, so they dont rlly have local unless we count the sequel story. Also i dont rlly know many dishes admittedly, im picky despite wanting to be a foodie lolol, these r gna be vague in the end but its okay

Oren is picky to the point where he's just not picky. He legit doesn't like the taste or texture of any food and actively dislikes eating, he went to culinary school to try and find anything even. Nada. So he ends up just not having preference in the end but he does make sure that everyone else is getting good food at least.

Codi likes seafood, less so shellfish but she'll still enjoy it. She also likes sour and tangy food. As for pickiness, she actually likes to explore a lot, but still knows what she wont like. She'll try to get something new usually, but if a location has something familiar for once, she'll stubbornly cling to it.

Reagan starts off a little picky, he mostly likes sweet, savory and spicy things, but I only mean picky in that he doesnt like exploring outside those 3 things. He's known for making some terrible stuff that only he enjoys. Luckily, the topic is eating out. He's small so he usually just tries to skip right to some chocolaty dessert, but if he cant then he'll find something to make everyone else's problem by finding the spiciest dish and then asking for it to be even more hot. He revels in it if he can get the others uncomfortable just by being around his dish. Once Rea's powers come into play tho he starts going for quantity and heat more than taste and spice, way less picky.

Sammy goes from incredibly picky (will only eat plain oatmeal and fruit smoothies) to being a wastebin as long as its vegetarian, at which point they love to explore new foods. Sammy has poor spice tolerance, which the others use against them, but otherwise they're excited to try anything. They have a slight preference for baked goods or anything grilled, but that's about it

Eurm in the sequel story, Sammy's actually settled down somewhere, but is pretty agoraphobic, so its rare they go out. When they do, its usually for something small. They dont like most drinks that arent water, but on occasion they might have a citrussy green tea, then they usually just go for some cheesy ass pasta or a chocolatey or lemony pastry.

Iseah, Sammy's housemate, is also not so picky, though he's definitely become less so due to exposure. His only preference is for savory dishes, he likes spicy things and meaty things not too disimilar to Reagan, but unlike Reagan, he isnt willing to make terrible foods just for fun. He loves when Sammy busts out a grill, the only draw back is that Sammy doesnt eat meat but they like to experiment on what they make, so Iseah either gets something very similar to each other or very strange. Either way, its not bad, and usually better at any rate.

One of the dream sheep-pet-Little lamb is always finding themselves in trouble. He has to keep eye on them, he usually carries the winged sheep around to make sure they run away.

Two head dog-pet-he found him once in forest cold & alone. He took pity on him, so he took him and raised him to be a shaped dog which he file much easier. He genuinely loved the little hyper ball and would do anything for him.

Personality/main attributes: He is generally a pretty laid-back dude. He doesn't like doing much work instead would like to sleep all day. He doesn't like being woke up, and he is quite cold to outsiders. If you gonna wake him from his nap then you better have a good reason. He can be quite stubborn. He usually groans and goes back to sleep, ignoring you. And sometimes snaps back if pushed. His expression is almost unchanging, staying stoic. He can always be calm no matter what situation and doesn't rush into things instead take his time. He is usually quiet when he speaks it's slowly. He is a bit pacifist though knows peace can't love everything.

backstory:

He was once a cookie named"Red poppy", He had short red hair and greens, even in his past he was still a pretty lazy cookie, always taking any moment to sleep, it was one of his few escapes. His parents were arguing all the time and school was no better either. The kids often picked on him and had few escapes to go to. He could dream everything was okay, which gave him a moment to stop stressing about stuff. It soon became a"hobby" of his, he would dream, wake up, and write what was a dream about before doing it again. he soon grew interested and start studying the dream, where he grew even more respect for moonlight and wanted to become a wizard.

However, life was not so kind to him, trying to study to become a wizard wasn't easy. He had failed many times and during adulthood, He took odd jobs to sustain himself and his studies You can imagine he was pretty stressed out most of the time but he kept going with the encouragement of his friends. However as time went on, he slowly lost contact with them. it saddens him but was too engrossed with his studies, he wanted to learn more dreams to see what was out there.

He tried many spells to help, but none were successful. He was close to giving up until he found one spell. That could help him explore the dream world by leaving his body temporarily, no what happened he was supposed to stay in his room until it was morning. He was able to see what was out there, which was his mindscape where all memories were locked away. When he"woke" up it was the middle of the night and in his body. He noticed it was still night and decided to wander around his house where he was attacked unknown entity and turned to shred. He died in his sleep that night meanwhile his spirit was torn into a nonsense nightmare, that floated aimlessly in the mindscape. He latched to whatever mindscape in his path and tied communication but it was nothing but a mess of words and images.

One day, he was found by a nightgazer who pitied the broken dream and offered it a deal, if he worked for her he would get his body back if not she would cast him away into nothingness. He thought about it for a bit before agreeing. She gave him a body and restore some of his memories. . he was assigned to look after and protect the dream sheep from harm while also being ready to call upon them to deliver a message to mortals. He was given the new name Opium poppy.

He was given a new outfit for the job and was sent to look after the sheep. This is where he is today, looking after and protecting the sheep.

Daily routine and cure for the crumbly day:

He wakes up in late the afternoon before getting ready for the day. He does the usual morning routine(Have a bath, get dressed, and have breakfast) before he starts herding the sheep using his staff guide from field to field, most of them being filled with poppies. Even if he has trouble falling staying away because of them, it doesn't matter since he usually falls asleep while the sheep graze. He has his dog to keep looking at them and he occasionally counts them whenever he wants to make none have left. He much prefers doing nothing however that doesn't mean he is neglectful. He will care for and provide for his sheep's needs. Like sheering them and making sure they are healthy. He will occasionally bump into other shepherds but he will ignore them.

Nothing eventful happens except for the occasion a sheep wonders off without the dog nor him knowing. He usually manages to find them before they are eaten by wolves and he uses the staff to them away then he takes the sheep back home.

Eventually coming night, he will return to his home, despite being asleep most of the time he usually has a strong sense of where they are. and he has a map However if too far, or if he doesn't feel like it (which is usually what he does)He will make a camp at the location, they are in and sleep in. He is usually called upon by Nightgaze to deliver a message to someone during this time. After getting a brief rundown of the person, He falls into a deep sleep where he transforms himself into a dream and visits that person to deliver the message

His life is pretty uneventful for him, on rare occasions when he loses a sheep to a wolf or other causes. He is seemly unaffected by it, he just moves on but he makes sure to make a burial for the sheep and pays them respect. Occasionally, crying a bit he will read a book to get his mind off it. He will drop it after a few days and presume his shepherd job as normal.

What is he attracted to?/What type of (X) do they like?: Strong partners  who are pretty chilled out and don't annoy him

Sexual experience: None, he fails to sleep before their partner can do anything with him. If he were to participate, he would be a sub.

normal ones- Blue, Yellow, and Pink sheep are normal sheep except they are colored. It affected the planets they eat which are usually poppies, depending on how many they eat it can change their color completely.

Winged ones-the winged sheep have wings on their side and are light purple with a soft glow to them. They will be hardest to keep an eye on since they are surprisingly easy to keep eye on since the only time they fly is to eat some food up on the or escape from predators. However there is a couple of trouble maker usually the lambs, they have their wings tied up for a bit because of this until they are older. They grow up slightly bigger than the rest.

Big ones-They are near the size of a cow and are almost always bright yellow. They can ram you if you provoke them or if they are just playing, they are usually docile creatures unless there is a threat.

The sunlight burns down on you as you walk through the park with your boyfriend. Kento loves to spend his time off with you, although today is a bit different. With only a half day at work and the boiling weather, the office said business casual was all that was required today. Although you managed to convince Kento to wear khaki shorts ("It's hot out!"), you hadn't managed to get him to abandon his spotted tie. This didn't upset you, however, as you found a man in a suit highly appealing. You watch how his tie bobs a bit when he swallows.

"Nami, baby, can we get some ice cream please? It's realllllly hot."

"You're the one who asked to come to the park, sweetheart."

"I know I did, but still....please? We can share if you want!" You smiled sweetly at him with puppy dog eyes. His stony expression cracked at this and he nodded. "Anything for you, my love." “Yes, dear?” The two of you stop in your tracks as you face him. “You have some ice cream on your face.”

“Oh? Where?” He immediately licks one of his fingers with the intention of rubbing it off once you tell him where it is. “It’s okay, I’ve got it.” Grasping his spotted tie, you pull him down and get the kiss you’ve been thinking about all day. The mint of the ice cream can be tasted on his tongue and you bring both hands up to his face to hold him to you, refusing to let him go. Eventually, his eyes flutter closed after the initial surprise as he melts into the kiss with you. You only realize that he dropped the cone when you feel both large hands engulfing your face in return. Smaller hands run through his hair as you move closer to him. The butterflies that you first felt when you saw him for the first time at this very park flutter as the kiss continues. One of his hands makes its way down to your hips, then your lower back. As the two of you separate, he rests his forehead on yours. “I thought I told you I didn’t want to do that in public.”

Aether always thought that immortality brought with it wisdom, beings who live for much longer than an ordinary human tend to gain an understanding of life and changes in the world after years of appreciating the passing of the ages.

But when he met you he couldn't help but feel that all his beliefs were based on fiction and old rumors from other worlds. You were anything but wise, not even his first choice to be the voice of reason.

Even Paimon takes her role as his guide seriously.

But what was so wrong about you that get him on his nerves all the time? And most important, why does is he still dealing with you?

To be fair, maybe he was waiting a little too much from you. After all, he always forget that you still have half of a human’s nature.

“Mmh? What are you doing?” You asked Aether the first time he removed your hair from your ears to see if they were pointy. They were, and Paimon yelled kind of a objection when she realize she had to pay for losing their bet.

Not a human, not a elf, but a hybrid between them.

The first encounter was really something he would never forget. Rumors about treasures and requests from the guild made them follow some clues to find a cave that was marked as lost, impossible to enter and explore.

But “impossible” is a word that doesn’t exist their vocabulary. Yet is common that regretting comes along when you’re that bold and risky.

At the very end of that strange cave there wasn’t a treasure waiting, not even a new clue to keep going with the mystery. Instead, was a humanoid silhouette, they seemed to be meditating, not showing a single interest in their voices neither getting nervous because of Aether and Paimon taking some steps forward to have a better look.

But they were breathing, and both could see the pupils moving slightly under their eyelids. Eyebrows twitching now and then, like they were having a nightmare, one of which they couldn’t wake up.

Paimon encouraged him to get even closer to shake that person's shoulder, while she was hiding behind some rocks, obviously.

Aether summoned his sword and then he approached slowly until touching them with his fingertips, waiting for some kind of jumpscare.

The stranger raised their arm, carefully but also in a robotic way. Their fingers were tense, as much that it was painful just looking at them. Like a quiet call, like a order that couldn’t be heard, from the pile of rocks where Paimon was hiding something emerge, breaking through the stone and letting a rusty polearm to be seen.

Their fingers closed around the weapon, bringing them back to reality.

“Master and weapon, reunited again, rise so the world can meet their end!”

Or at least that's what he would have preferred to find. A servant guarding a lost relic, a soulless body moving by a curse, perhaps even a fate that death could not prevent.

But instead it was something really underwhelming, something that broke the mystical and strange atmosphere. That person opened their eyes, annoyed by the light of the torches and disoriented by the situation.

With their body in pain and numb at the same time, how long have they slept in that position?

The first thing they did after waking up was sneezing.

‘So much dust…’

Never accepting missions for exploring legendary caves ever again. Nope. Negative. He refuse to.

“It seems that we found the remains of an ancient race that used to exist in Teyvat.” Aether said, still surprised by the way you roamed to feel the wood of the trees and the grass under your bare feet. Kind of heartbreaking.

“Like the boar we found with Xiangling!”

He wasn’t sure if it was okay to compare both encounters but he could see her point.

“… ‘Wait for us’, they told me, ‘think about your existence and find the answer to why your conception is not the atrocity that everyone says you are. May their words not reach you, because we have long ears to hear the words of the gods and not the ones of those who defile earth’… ” You pronounced after decades of not needing to use the language you were taught, with one hand on your chin and eyes closed to concentrate. All you had left was the few memories you preserved inside your mind and heart.

“With ‘they’ you mean your parents?”

You nodded.

“And what happened next?… ” Asked back the tiny companion of the blond guy that rescued you.

Paimon crossed her arms to almost immediately duck down to dodge a fire bullet from the Fatui. Aether didn’t say anything, he was concentrated fighting.

“Oh, yeah… You’re doing great. Go, Aether, go…”

“Was that supposed to be a cheering?!”

“Hey, calm down” You said “He doesn’t need my help. Just take a look, he’s an adventurer. If I meddle it will be really boring for him.”

“Hmp! Now Paimon believes that you were lying when you said that you were a well refined fighter!” She was floating around you, ignoring the battle of his blond friend. Like a pesky bee, the only thing you did was avoiding her furious gaze. “Don’t ignore Paimon! How can you not hear with those ears!? That’s it! Paimon will give you a ugly nickname!”

When the last Fatui was defeated Aether turned back to face both of you, sighing because of the new arguing between you two. His sword disappeared and some steps were took to get closer.

Your eyes met each other, a slight smile in your face after looking him safe and sound. So confident but so unaware of the remain danger hiding. Your expression became a surprised one, then your gaze sharped like a killer sight.

You left Paimon on top of the rock when you jumped down, summoning your own weapon you ran straight to where Aether was. The traveler panicked just a fraction of second before loosing sight of you.

Next thing they know was that a you were behind him, facing at the nothing with a defensive pose, just a second of silence before a impact could be heard. Some dirt and dust was lift as the pair of Fatui Pyro Agents became visible again. They stayed there, defeated in one hit.

“Like I said. It would be pretty boring if I meddle...” Aether and Paimon were shocked, none of them felt their presence, not even the heat of the pyro delusion. Your weapon disappeared in the air, and your hands rested on your waist. “Dear Seven, that was intense.” Looking at your friends you sighed, with the laziness on your body language. “It was my turn to cook dinner, right? What a pain having to eat again… ”

Acting that relaxed after that really made them went Ô_Ô and Ö

A silent speech, where devotion and gratitude are the best topics of conversation. The message that is heard even if there’s no words in between. Just a exchange of gazes. Little signs of affection that are shown when it’s necessary.

Your family was gone. No clues about their whereabouts could’ve found in that cave of where you came. Not even the skeletons of a couple holding their hands and petrified in a sobbing position. Not even ashes.

When you have been thinking about the most unimportant things in the universe for so long you can deal with the lost faster than anyone else. Getting the idea of no remain evidence of your parents and feeling that it wasn’t that heartbreaking.

Still you could empathize with Aether, he still had his precious memories with his sister, still remember her face and her voice. And most important was that he knew that she was still roaming Teyvat, waiting for him.

And depending on who he’s texting, his formality either elevates or drops.

However, not to the degree that he uses text language like ‘wyd’ or ‘btw’.

He just doesn’t like it, he feels like he’s losing his class by using abbreviations for phrases and such.

He absolutely hates the term ‘lol’--he simply can’t wrap his head around it.

“Honestly, humans spent centuries developing their language and then they cut it down into atrocious phrases like this.”

Now onto how his texting style varying based on who he’s texting.

So, if he’s texting a stranger, such as someone he got assigned to be partners with from class for a project and he’s genuinely okay with them, he’s very formal.

Like, too formal. If he has to start a conversation over text, he’ll begin it with, ‘I hope this message finds you well…’.

Which is just… odd… considering the world’s in the modern age now.

His brothers tease him about getting with the times, especially Ayato and Laito. They’re constantly on his case about this, but he brushes them off and tells them they’re wrong and that only ‘classy’ people like him text this way.

“What would imbeciles like them understand? It’s patently offensive to text with no effort.” He’d say, pushing up the bridge of his glasses.

Reiji is usually pretty fast at getting back to people and never tries to lag because he finds it ‘imperfect’ and ‘lazy’.

“That good for nothing keeps his contacts on read for days. How does he go on that way?” He’d comment towards a familiar, lazy vampire we all know.

Reiji also likes to keep the convo short with someone he barely knows, mostly because he doesn't know what to talk about considering he doesn't really know them and vice versa. He keeps it pretty polite and straight to the point in all honesty.

However, if he gets paired up with someone he doesn’t like and that he finds to be annoying, he’ll take his formality up a notch and even use words most people don’t know just to throw the other person off and show that he’s ‘more educated’ and ‘better’ than them.

Reiji isn’t the type to ghost, mostly because he doesn’t know how. So, if he’s texting someone he doesn’t like and they get into an argument of some sort, he’s not afraid to tell them what he thinks and just blocks them as a result.

“Good riddance.”

If he gets along with the person he had to do a project with, he debates on whether or not he’s going to still keep them as a contact after the project is over.

Mostly because he only wants to keep people that are up to his standards as his contacts--minus his brothers of course.

So, through talking to his class partner enough by working together on the project they were assigned, he tries to get to know them in order to decide if he wants to keep them in his phone.

After the project is over, if he sees that it isn't relevant to keep them in his contact list, he just deletes their contact.

Just know though, if Reiji does decide to keep someone as a contact in his phone, there’s something about them that he admires or that he finds interesting. If he gets along with the person and they’re up to his standards, he finds no harm in being friends with them.

It takes a lot to be considered his best friend. They seriously have to pass all his tests and prove him wrong. Yes, Reiji isn't the easiest person to deal with.

He'd prefer if the person is a vampire like him cuz they would understand each other better due to having the same nature. He wouldn't be too keen on being friends with a human, but then again, if they impress him enough, he doesn’t mind it.

If the new contact is a girl, he may have a crush on her, but he of course wouldn't admit that. It takes him a lot to come to that conclusion.

If he ends up becoming friends with his class partner, he’ll quit being very formal as he was before and be pretty casual, just no text language though.

Make no mistake though, he won't let them in too much--mostly because his life is pretty classified considering he’s Karlheinz’s son.

Now, if Reiji’s texting his best friend, things are a lot different.

He’s obviously been friends with them for ages and they very much understand each other. They’re probably a lover of science just like him.

He’ll usually text nerdy things like science memes--his favorites are probably all the Einstein ones xDD.

It’s mostly lots of nerd talk really with his best friend. He might even send them a picture of a new china set he bought, but he of course makes it very aesthetically pleasing because he can’t stand raw light in photos lol.

Now when it comes to texting his brothers, it honestly depends on who it is, but he drops his formality with them and is pretty casual about conversation.

Has a group chat with them on his phone, but only uses it when he has to tell all of them something important.

He wants to block Shu so badly since Shu decides to be an ass and text him about things that annoy him, which includes him teasing Reiji about his crush if he has one.

Shu: ‘So… have you asked her?’

Reiji: ‘Asked her what?’

Shu: ‘Y’know... ;)’

With Reiji being confused, he’d just respond with: ‘...’

Shu also teases him about being boring and single and tells him he’s looking for too much. Will also send him memes about things like this too, along with ones about ghosts.

Or Shu will be bold to say: *sends photo* ‘She’ll be in your room at midnight.’

And of course Reiji doesn’t hold back and tells him he’s a good-for-nothing and sends back memes about laziness or fire.

And in response to Shu sending Reiji a picture of a ghost woman, he’d respond: *sends photo* ‘What your room will look like after midnight.’

It’s a never-ending battle in all honesty, and it gets so out of control that Reiji ends up cursing at Shu via text since he provokes him that much. It honestly makes Shu’s day knowing he’s able to make him pissed off this much.

Ah, the love between bros lmao xDD.

Luckily, this only happens from time to time.

But make no mistake, sometimes Reiji initiates these snappy virtual arguments with Shu too--it’s usually when Shu’s pissed him off in some way or Reiji needs someone to take his anger out on over something he’s upset about personally.

But other than this, they don’t text normally unless it involves something their father wants.

Even though he wants to block Shu, he knows he can't because they sometimes have to talk about things regarding family matters. So, it's utterly pointless.

Although, Reiji will periodically block the triplets because he grows tired of them and the trouble they cause him… but he ends up unblocking them later on. And the cycle only repeats from there.

Subaru doesn't really cause him trouble so Reiji doesn't care since they don't really talk. If Reiji ever asks him to do something it's not that much of a hassle.

Now, when it comes to texting his s/o, things are a lot different in comparison to his brothers.

It's honestly 50/50 on who starts the conversation, and he texts them pretty much every day.

He’ll talk about pretty much anything with his s/o, but bear in mind that he will be sharing what experiments he’s working on along with sending his s/o a picture of something he ordered in the mail.

You snort a little before texting a quick reply of, "You might’ve been jumping the gun saying that tho."

The day follows on with that sort of half dry banter, Totty doesn't seem like a bad guy or anything. Just bland. That's okay though because not everyone's charms shine through in text. You get it, after all your dry sense of humor doesn’t really ring true through text either. You're willing to look past that since texting is always a bit awkward with strangers no matter what.

Plus you only want to try getting a boyfriend since the guy you're actually interested in seems to be content to string you along without a real rejection either way. There's two tickets intended as a date with your crush, Daisuke in the small homegoods section that are just burning a hole in your pocket. You felt silly inviting Daisuke to an event that you were only interested in without considering his feelings when he politely turned you down. Oh well though.

You invite Totty to the San-x event instead because it might be better to get to know someone new? You wouldn't mind going by yourself however but it really sucks standing out so much when you're alone. As much fun it is to flip people off and show your pierced tongue to anyone who whispers about you it gets tiring constantly having to ask if randos have ‘a fucking problem?!'

Being scary is hard work, don't get you wrong though! It feeds your ego that ripped skinny jeans, a little dark make up and a choker makes you terrifying; sometimes it'd just be nice to go on a normal date. After all you don’t even have any visible tattoos!

And the whole cigarette smoke filled punk bar isn't your scene now that you go through nicotine withdrawals. Plus getting black out drunk isn't good for the upward mobility at your job and self medicating with those two substances hasn’t ever gotten you anywhere.

Totty seems a bit too eager to meet up, you think over the following days approaching the event. Constant texts about how exciting it is to meet and other obvious bullshitting pleasantries.

He even asked to have a phone conversation with you, which you agreed to! Turns out the only time he had available to talk was a five minute window that got cut short.

“Good mornin-- Jyushimatsu-niisan! I’m on the phone!” followed by what sounded like the loud sound of splashing water.

The call ended before you could even say anything, but you did hear a shriek as it ended. You sat on pins and needles your entire break sending text messages to confirm the exact five minutes you could speak to him only for it to end so abruptly.

After a few hours, Totty sent multiple messages apologizing, and complimenting your voice he did not even get to hear. Seems really fake but once again you'll give him the benefit of the doubt because whatever happened on his end sounded overwhelming.

If you're just misreading it Totty's sincerity will actually be really adorable and sweet.

On the day of the event you dress to impress with all of your piercings in and cutest outfit. Oh, the sacred counsel of Teddy Bears had to be called out in order for you to determine the right amount of color for your outfit.

Black yes was a given, but since it’s a San-X event should you have gone neon or pastel? You went pastel in the end, with a small assortment of cutely cool colors that wouldn’t draw too much attention to themselves but would compliment your outfit otherwise. And of course your make up was carefully applied too.

You went with a dark lipstick instead of black, because you knew sometimes the whole 100% punk thing can be intimidating. But all in all you look great! After all today you could finally end up with a bubblegum boyfriend like you've always wanted!

Ah, this is a route you don’t go on very often isn’t it? You left your apartment extra early to board the train heading southbound.

You’ll need to make two transfers and then walk some but you aren’t familiar with this area in order to find the last short bus route where you agreed to take together.

You also aren’t great at following the phone map. As you walked you searched for your compass because you needed to go east from the train only to find you forgot it at home.

“Um, excuse me...Which way is east from here?” You quietly ask a nice middle aged woman, who blinks in response.

“Let me think, I believe you’re heading down the right way.” She points forward. You notice a glint of hesitation in her eyes, and are grateful she still helped you out even if she seems apprehensive to do so.

“Thank you so much for your help!” When you smile at her, she begins to stop you.

“Excuse me. Do you work at that bookstore not too far from here?”

That’s where it clicks!

“Oh, yes I do! I’m so sorry for not recognizing you, valued customer I have slight face blindness!” Which is true, if you don’t expect to see someone outside of a certain context you don’t even register who they are.

It’s happened so many times, and you have lost friends because of it. You sorta thought you recognized her voice, but now that you think about it this woman is a semi regular.

“Ah, it’s okay. I don’t mean to keep you but I heard there might be new event with housewives in mind, do you know when it will take place?”

She asks very sweetly. “Yes! We’re in the middle of preparing it now, so it’ll be happening in two weeks. It’s for our newly expanded Josei section! We’re trying to attract more women and girls to the store so in the event we’re going to take a survey and find out which new manga titles are the most highly anticipated! We’ll also have a demo for an upcoming joseimuke game by a popular studio! If those don’t interest you, there will be a sale on dramas and later on that day we will have a special surprise comedy guest!”

You excitedly tell her of this large event, you’re so happy she asked about it! You hand her a coupon booklet as well, “These will get you discounts too!” You chatted her ear off for a while, until she asks you, “Oh yes, are you heading east for that event down the road?” while looking at her watch.

“The San-X one? Yes, I am!” You answer diligently.

“The next bus is scheduled soon then, you should run along so you aren’t late!” You look at your phone and with a friendly wave good bye you haul ass so you aren’t late!

Which you weren’t! In fact you still arrived fairly early.

Totty isn’t here yet, so you decide to wait.

And you wait.

And wait. Two buses go by without you aboard.

You wait well past the agreed upon meetup time and just as you were going to head on by yourself, Totty finally shows up. You actually know he's approaching from a distance for multiple reasons you don't wanna get into just yet.

But you will say that Totty is a bit of a disappointment to be honest. It might not just be his outfit or anything but the fact he physically recoils when meeting you at the bus station is a real turn off.

"Heh...hehe...um, it's nice to finally meet you! I'm Todomatsu, but cute girls call me Totty." It was obviously a forced greeting, the guy was sweating and clearly trying not to run away.

"Same to you, Totty." Your reply is even because it might be just a shock to see someone dressed like you out of nowhere.

One look on his face tells you Totty actually seems a bit offended you called him by the nickname. Alright. Won't do that again. An unhealthy amount of silence takes place as you wait for the 3rd bus to pull over to allow boarding. Rudely Todomatsu cuts in front of you to pay first, but as you wait the polite distance you notice him struggling to get enough change for the fare. Uh, that’s weird. “Want me to handle that?”

You ask from over his shoulder while he counts his small amount of change. It’s definitely not enough fare. Todomatsu yelps at the sound of your voice and embarrassingly throws his change in the till.

The driver gives him a semi disgusted face and you totally get it while Todomatsu digs in all of his pockets with growing desperation. Finally you wordlessly pop the remaining coins in with your own fare.

The bus ride is very boring since Todomatsu barely responds to your attempts at small talk, plus his body language is totally uncomfortable and it's making you feel weird.

The ride is also shittier than a usual bad date because Todomatsu fucking stinks. Like not of body odor, but this cheap ass "my first body mist" found rattling inside the trashcan of a 3rd year middle school girl's room.

The smell of the overwhelming alcohol and whatever is supposed to make the 'sugar pink kiss pop' is popping you a major headache in the close quarters.

Eventually you get to the event. This is feeling like you’re pulling your teeth out to be honest, the absolutely awkward and silent treatment is killing you! Once standing in line Todomatsu finally begins to warm up to you a bit, and by warm up you mean he starts "charming" you with PUA tactics.

"Aren't you hot in all of that black? I couldn't wear all of that, I'm getting hot just looking at you. Do you want me to get you a drink? You can pay me back later." Todomatsu's smile at this point is a fraction less strained but still incredibly manufactured. You can tell he felt cringy winking and the second hand embarrassment is gross.

"With what money? Besides I'm not hot. I was wondering if I should get you something instead since you’re so broke and I can see your pit stains. You probably need some water after sweating so much."

Todomatsu doesn't appreciate your comment, the second you turn away to look at your placement in line you swear catch a glimpse of something demonic.

"Soo, which one are you going to take the picture with?" Todomatsu asks with a pinned on grimace-smile. While his tone was casual and even you could tell he wasn’t enjoying this date. You literally haven’t even done anything wrong or weird, which makes you angry because this fucked up aura is on him.

"Rilakkuma. I'm gonna hug that big cuddly sonvabitch until his lil button eyes go pop." You wiggle your hugging fingers in a silly way in anticipation for the bear hugging to lighten the mood.

Todomatsu laughs nervously, "We might get kicked out if you hug that hard..."

"Oh! Maybe they'll just let me unzip his costume and reveal his true form? Isn't it time the people know who's in there?" You know that Rilakkuma is being acted by the person wearing the costume... But maybe there's a hint to Rilakkuma's comic book true identity. Like the actor wearing a little shirt with a clue?

"A man. A very sweaty man who isn't paid is enough to be here is inside of that costume." Todomatsu is sorta a buzz kill, huh?

"Could be an even smaller bear though, maybe a little AI thingy? I've heard those guys are hanging around nowadays."

You're just trying to shoot the breeze at this point, but you can feel your chill cool girl image cracking. You start glaring at the massive line ahead, this isn't really what you expected. Todomatsu seems to catch onto your new forming negative energy too.

The sun glaring into your light sensitive eyes also has a negative effect on your growing bad mood. Usually you enjoy the slight strain when you get to see the big blue sky, but today it isn’t working. Nor is the feeling of the sun on your skin making you feel better, instead you just feel muggy and uncomfortable.

"Yeah. AI. Those are around I guess..." Todomatsu begins leaning over every few minutes to frantically text someone until you glance at him. This scares him further for literally no reason. You barely even looked at him!

You must look hella annoyed at this point, but you say nothing. Not until it's your turn to take a picture with Rilakkuma, which more than brightens your mood immediately.

You were nearly bouncing off of the heels of your platforms the closer you got to Rilakkuma. Yeah, there's other little mascots but Rilakkuma is the original and the most popular for a reason! He's soo cute!! As you hug the little teddy bear you couldn't help but squeal in delight that you loved him!

You feel the shoujo sparkles everywhere, and the weight lifted from your poor heart makes you feel light and airy! When your picture was snapped, you floated off giggling to yourself on a cloud of hopes and dreams.

When you receive the snapshot you nearly twirl when hugging it close to your heart. You look back at Rilakkuma who gives a slight wave in your direction which makes you even happier! The sunshine never felt so sweet before.

“I love you, Rilakkuma! See you again later!” You wave back overly ecstatic.

"So you can make expressions like that too?" Oh. Yeah. Your date.

Like your aforementioned hopes and dreams shattering at once by a voice that honestly should be attached to an idol instead of this dickhead.

"Yeah, with the right motivation." You look at your printed picture but feel like the happiness from it has been stolen a little.

"You should smile more, you'd look way less scary. I had no idea there was such a cute face under all of that edgy doom and gloom." Yeah, Todomatsu is an asshole. This isn't gonna work out at all.

You don't bother to look up from your picture yet as Todomatsu berates you in efforts to smile more. After a few seconds of debate you decide to pull the plug on whatever the hell this was.

"Yeah, not feeling this anymore so I'm gonna go alone from here. Bye." You tuck the picture in a little keepsafe holder before turning to leave.

Todomatsu audibly gasps, even stamping his feet so childishly. "Have fun kissing a metal detector instead of a guy, you weirdo! I only stayed this long because I felt bad for you anyways!"

“You messaged me first.” You tell him quietly with gritted teeth, feeling so much more than offended.

“I swipe right on every girl, and send that line to everyone who matches with me! You weren’t special! Do you know how lucky you are that I even came out here to meet with you?! You look like a vampire! It’s scary!”

You won't let him get away with insulting you after giving his ass the benefit of the doubt multiple times.

The fury bubbles up in your throat until it boils over. But. Instead of cursing or screaming at Todomatsu you pin point in that exact moment how to render him to devastation.

With a calm voice you tell him, "I wonder if anyone would actually ever like the real you, and not the artificial dollar store signature scent version of it. Probably not, you seem nauseating either way."

After finally walking away for good you're consumed with thoughts. Shit, you should've said 'instead of pretending to stomach your artificial dollar store signature scent ass' or something! Aw fuck it would have been great to let him know you were legit going to throw up next to him on the bus too.

You think about these things going around the event, of course your mind takes breaks from new insults when you buy one of every Jinbeisan merch for sale. You stock up on other various cuties, take more pictures and just generally have a great rest of the day on your own. You even got ice cream!

Eating alone at a bench is a bit lonely, you would have much preferred your date to work out if you're honest... But you'd rather be alone than ignore hot pink flags. You're not desperate enough to go out with that guy.

You had to buy totes to carry all of the lil things you bought and it cost you all of your fun money for the month, but it was so worth it. You'll probably deck out your phone tonight and maybe put all of the new stickers onto anything you could get your hands on. Whatever this uncomfortable feeling is will pass, and you'll forget all about it.

What going on a road trip with different members of the DreamSMP would be like

Dream- Lots and lots of music! The windows are rolled down 24/7 so the music can be blasting loud enough for the other cars to hear your amazing music taste! Not one much to stop for like the basic sight seeing but will if you want to! Lots of stops for gas station snacks! Said stops for gas station snacks turn into speed runs tho because he always jokingly threatens to leave you behind or else he says loser has to pay for the others snacks. Only time he turns the music down and rolls up the windows is when he notices your falling asleep. Specifically keeps a blanket and small pillow in the car for when you do fall asleep. Leaves small kisses on the top of your head at every stop light. Gets so flustered when someone taking your picture mistakes you as couple like he fill in stutters and is bright red as he tries to correct them but before he can you’re playing acting as if you are a couple and thanking the person purfusley as you kiss him on the cheek. You’re dying of laughter after the persons left and then Dream says he’ll give you something to laugh about and chases you before tickling you. If you are a couple he will still be very flustered but smile and nod as he thanks them and then after they leave he kisses you on the forehead or top of your head and tells you how lucky he is to have you.

Sapnap- Again lots of music but not at an overwhelming loud volume it’s a decent volume but definitely does get turned up when one of your favorite songs is on so you guys can belt it out together with no shame! Again lots of gas station snacks but no races just casual leg stretching and snack grabbing but he insists on paying for all the snacks! He’s definitely not past a gas station hot dog to tide him over tik you guys get to somewhere slightly less concerning to eat at. Is totally down to see all the sights and will probably actually be the one begging you to stop and see the sights. Is very embarrassed when someone mistakes you as couple when you’re not but when you are a couple he will proudly smile and hold you close as he calls you his baby as he thanks them.

George- Yea sure there’s music but he prefers it at a lower volume to try and hear your true singing voice because it makes him so happy. He steals glances with the cutest little smiles at you when you’re singing and looking out the window. He’ll stop for gas station snacks here and there but he’d really rather not he despises gas station food completely including the snacks but he’s not past a bag of chips or something. He’s down to take you to any sight you wanna see because he loves seeing you smile. Loves wrapping his arms around you from behind and either resting his head on your shoulder or head depending on the height difference, as you both look out at the beauty of nature. If you’re really smaller than him he will not hesitate to use your head as an arm rest, you’ll just be talking about the view and he just casually puts his arm on your head. Little secret though if you don’t want his arm on your head just give him a quick tickle and his arm will retract so fast! He gets mega embarrassed when someone mistakes you for a couple when you’re not but also is a bit embarrassed when you are a couple and someone says how cute you are. He’s not ashamed of you or anything not at all! He’s just not good with people noticing when he’s giving you affection be it platonic or in this case romantic.

Phil- He’s similar to George in he doesn’t like the music overly loud but as similar to sap some songs he will allow to be played fairly loud as to emphasize the jamming out session. He’s down to stop for gas station snacks and like sap will always insist/offer to pay for your snacks. He’s definitely not fully against stopping at a basic fast food place like McDonalds he doesn’t prefer to but will admit the food is rather okay for being so cheap. He prefers though to try and stop at more sit down and order type places both because the food is better and because he likes the short break from driving, mainly though he likes it because he feels it’s easier to talk to you without the distraction of the music or having to pay attention to the road. He really loves being able to just fully give you his undivided attention, he will also insist/offer to pay the bill. He will obviously respect if you do want to go halves on the bill but would greatly prefer to be a gentleman and pay for it in full! If it’s a restaurant like Cracker Barrel and it has a little shop he will secretly pay for anything he notices that you really like but refuse to get for yourself, he will also get tons of candy. He wants to stop at every single sight seeing place possible and will ask you to take his picture at every single one and then also try and take your picture as well along with either a selfie of you two or asking someone to take a picture of you both. Blushes purfusley though if someone taking the picture calls you guys a cute couple when you’re just friends, he’s unable to say anything though as he’s too flustered and you just smile a bit as you nod and thank them but later in the car have an absolute laughing fit over it. If you are together though and someone says that he smiles brightly as he kisses you on the side or top of the head and thanks them.

Wilbur- MUSIC IS SO LOUD YOU FEEL AS IF YOUR EAR DRUMS WILL BREAK BUT YOU COULD NOT CARE LESS BECAUSE SEEING THIS MAN JAM OUT TO ANY AND EVERYTHING IS SUCH A TREASURE! He’s so down to do gas station snack stops but will like Dream try and turn them into a race and also will sometimes do that thing where you pick snacks for the other person and sometimes he’ll be serious about it and get you you’re favorite snacks but other times he’ll get the craziest and most random things. It’s okay though because you do the same and then you both have a long laughing fit as you’re trying all the items. Also if you try and scare him he will without hesitation chase you around the gas station and then tickle you as slight punishment for scaring him. He is so down for any and every sight stop like my gosh imagine him and Phil on a road trip together! It’s worth it though to see his giant smile as he stands on the edge of the guard rail looking over into the gorgeous waterfall. If someone takes a picture of you two and calls you a cute couple when you’re not he totally milks it and fully embarrasses you by holding your closely and kissing your head and even bending down to kiss your cheek as he’s thanking them repeatedly with a huge smile on his face. If you are together though he’ll blush a very light pink as he smiles a small smile and thanks them. Again if you try and scare him, act like you’re gonna push him off,ETC... he will tackle you and tickle you until you apologize. It’s fine though because it’s all in good fun and you can easily get him back later, meaning you can also get him back for embarrassing you if you really want to. Man stops at so many fast food places just for fries like you’ll have just left one place having gotten a full combo meal and an hour later he sees a sign about more fast food places and is like “oh I’m hungry! ya know I could really go for some fries right now!” He’s also heavily down for a sit down restaurant though but mainly only when he’s getting tired and about ready to stop at a hotel or something for the night.

Tubbo- PLEASE MY EARS! THE MUSIC IS ABSOLUTELY BLARING! He won’t hesitate to turn it down though if it is truly hurting your ears or head! Will not hesitate to scream out songs with you literally like even ones he barely knows he will try and scream them out with you. Gas station snack stops are a must and he will always get at least one or two wacky things for you both to try and then proceed to die laughing at your reaction but then when he tries it it’s now your turn to die laughing at him. He doesn’t mind paying for your snacks and also doesn’t mind you paying for your own he leaves it up to you to decide. He’s a sucker for any and every sight seeing place possible and always wants to get at least one souvenir from all of them and you have to try and stop him or else at least have him get the cheapest thing possible so that he doesn’t spend all his money in the first few hours of the trip! He’s always wanting to take selfie’s with you at them all and also some funny pictures of him to send to Tommy and Wilbur. He’s down for sit down restaurants or fast food he really doesn’t have much preference, though sometimes your guys laughter can cause some looks from other restaurants patrons but neither of you care much because you’re just having fun. If someone mistakes you for a couple at a sight seeing spot he starts dying of laughter as you have to explain that you’re not a couple and he’s much more of an annoying little brother. If you are a couple though he smiles proudly as he thanks them and wraps his arm around your waist kissing your cheek or the side of your head depending on your height difference.

Tommy- Surprisingly doesn’t like the music too loud most of the time when he’s the one driving. If he’s the passenger then he loves having it hecka loud if the driver is okay with it. Again gas station snack stops are a must but not just for snacks but just so he can get out and run around a bit as well! He’s definitely the type to sneak behind you as you’re looking at snacks and scare you or just start to tickle you because he wants to embarrass you. If he doesn’t know your ticklish and does that thing people do where they like squeeze your sides and say boo to scare you, he’s definitely gonna notice the smile on your face and how quick you are to move his hands and gonna straight up ask if your ticklish and will not hesitate to tickle you right there in the gas station just like the annoying little brother he is! Makes jokes about how you should pay for your own snacks but will definitely actually pay for them if you want him too! He’s down for fast food or sit down restaurants but probably prefers fast food. Will once again joke about you paying but won’t actually let you pay unless you really insist! He’s not really to into the stop at every sight type thing but will stop at any one you want to with no hesitation he’ll not even complain once he sees the happiness you’re absolutely over flowing with. He also just kinda takes it as a chance to get out and try to scare scare you again. Gets very caught off guard when someone mistakes you for a couple dramatically says “What like I would ever date this B! Ew I am way too good looking for her!” You roll your eyes and smack him lightly. If you are a couple though he proudly says “D right we are!” And doesn’t hesitate to turn your head towards him and press a kiss to your lips!

BadBoyHalo- He’s not one for mega loud music but will gladly let you set the volume to whatever your preference is with no complaints! Is willing to listen to anything you want to but is very grateful when you play songs that either have no naughty words or else are the clean versions. Will insist on paying for your snacks at each and every gas station stop and restaurant or fast food stop. Is down for every sight seeing stop you’re down for and won’t force you to go to any you don’t want to! He’s not one for having his picture taken but will insist on taking yours and will take selfie’s with you! If he asks someone to take your picture together and they say you’re a cute couple he quickly says what an honor it is that they think that but that he no where near good enough to compare to your good looks. Laughs when you lightly punch him and tell him he’s more than good enough. If you are a couple he smiles brightly and proudly thanking them and telling them how lucky he is.

Karl- Music can either be blaring or very low there’s no in between and he’s down for whatever you want but does sometimes prefer it on the louder side. He will jam out to anything from one direction to Thomas Rhett to 5 seconds of summer you get the point the man has exaquisite music taste! Gas station stops for snacks always literally anytime you want he will stop and he will gladly offer to pay for your snacks but is okay if you insist that you wanna pay instead and he blushes purfusley and thanks you multiple times if you pay for his,same situation with fast food or sit down restaurants. Another sucker for sight seeing and will ask you to take the wackiest pictures of him to send to the boys, will be so serious about taking your picture though! Like this man will do a full on photo shoot having you pose,making sure the lighting is perfect and everything. He’ll also take tons of silly selfies with you and will blush so much if someone takes a picture of you guys calls you a couple whether you are one or not. Though if you aren’t he stutters a bit as he shyly says you’re not but if you’re like best best friends like best friends he’ll laugh he shoves you a bit and says something like “HA! As if I would ever date this loser!” And you roll your eyes as you shove him back and say something like “Yea like I would ever date that idiot!” If you are a couple he will blush so much but smile so happily as he pulls you closer to him if it’s even possible and he thanks them greatly.

Quackity- Music music music and more music there’s hardly a second without any he loves having it loud and jamming out with you but also is down to have it very quiet and just talk with you. He’s also down for you to FaceTime the guys and you all chat for a while as you guys are driving! The guys will definitely “accidentally”spill your tickle secret though making the rest of the trip very interesting as he gets so excited but also soft and takes advantage of it any chance he gets! He also really just enjoys the time with you alone, not face timing the boys,whether you’re a couple or not! He’s always stopping for gas station snacks and is down for a terrible gas station hotdog or burger! Though as you guys are eating it you both laugh hysterically about how bad it is. He’ll insist to pay for everything for you but won’t get mad if you don’t let him. He prefers sit down restaurants a little more but is fine with fast food. He’s down to stop at as many sight seeing places as you want and definitely either gets very embarrassed when you’re mistaken as a couple or plays it up and embarrasses you. If you are a couple he’s quick to show off his proudest smile as he thanks them and talks about how wonderful you are and how he doesn’t know how he got so lucky.

Why do you think Mr. Darcy tried to break up Jane and Mr. Bingley's relationship when he wanted to be with Elizabeth? It's not like the circumstances of the family were different lol so why would it be okay for him but not mr bingley??

Because it’s not really about the Bennets’ circumstances. It’s about the fact that Darcy believed that Jane didn’t love Bingley. He explains in his letter to Elizabeth:

“I could then perceive that his partiality for Miss Bennet was beyond what I had ever witnessed in him. Your sister I also watched. Her look and manners were open, cheerful, and engaging as ever, but without any symptom of peculiar regard, and I remained convinced from the evening’s scrutiny, that though she received his attentions with pleasure, she did not invite them by any participation of sentiment.”

After watching them at the Netherfield Ball, Darcy believes that Bingley’s feelings are one-sided and that Jane is, presumably, only interested in Bingley insofar as he is rich and would be a good match for her, but not actually out of any affection or regard for the man himself. 

It’s not an unreasonable assumption to make given the time period - as the eldest of five daughters all fairly close in age, Jane would be under pressure to get married first and to marry well in order to give her sisters better opportunities. And while there’s a significant level of arrogance in Darcy making his decision based on one night’s observation, his conclusions aren’t entirely without foundation. It harks back to the warning Charlotte gives when Bingley first starts paying attention to Jane:

“It may perhaps be pleasant,” replied Charlotte, “to be able to impose on the public in such a case; but it is sometimes a disadvantage to be so very guarded. If a woman conceals her affection with the same skill from the object of it, she may lose the opportunity of fixing him; and it will then be but poor consolation to believe the world equally in the dark. There is so much of gratitude or vanity in almost every attachment, that it is not safe to leave any to itself. We can all begin freely—a slight preference is natural enough; but there are very few of us who have heart enough to be really in love without encouragement. In nine cases out of ten a woman had better show more affection than she feels. Bingley likes your sister undoubtedly; but he may never do more than like her, if she does not help him on.”

“But she does help him on, as much as her nature will allow. If I can perceive her regard for him, he must be a simpleton, indeed, not to discover it too.”

“Remember, Eliza, that he does not know Jane’s disposition as you do.”

Jane is naturally a reserved person who doesn’t easily let her emotions show, and only those who know her very well see through that. Charlotte outright tells Elizabeth not to forget that she has the benefit of knowing Jane far better than Bingley or anyone else and so understanding her far more easily - but that’s exactly what Elizabeth does. She displays a good deal of arrogance of her own, assuming that because she can tell that Jane has sincerely fallen for Bingley that everyone else should be able to see it, too. 

And when Elizabeth looks back at everything after reading the letter, she acknowledges that “Jane’s feelings, though fervent, were little displayed”, so while Darcy is dead wrong about what Jane’s actually feeling, there’s no real reason why, just from appearances, he should believe otherwise - which is the point, given one of the book’s biggest themes is appearances vs reality.

It’s partly why the proposal is the turning point in her own arc as well Darcy’s: she’s not just mistaken about him and Wickham, but she also has to reassess everything that happened between Jane and Bingley. 

Additionally, although Darcy does still object to the fact that Bennets’ circumstances are inferior, he also clarifies:

“My objections to the marriage were not merely those which I last night acknowledged to have the utmost force of passion to put aside, in my own case; the want of connection could not be so great an evil to my friend as to me.”

So it’s not so much that it’s okay for him, but not for Bingley and in fact if it were just about the Bennets’ circumstances it would rather be the opposite. He’s never going completely approve of what he sees as marrying beneath him or Bingley - because, hello, classism - but if he had seen and understood that Jane was genuinely, deeply in love with Bingley he wouldn’t have objected, as he shows at the end of the book.

But as to why he still proposes to Elizabeth himself . . . well, I think it hangs on that line: “the utmost force of passion to put aside.”

When Darcy proposes to Elizabeth for the first time, he believes her to be expecting and even wanting it but I don’t think he’s insensible to the possibility that she might not love him. Maybe he thinks she does, or that there’s a chance she could, but mostly I think he believes she’ll accept because she knows she’s not likely to have a better prospect for a husband. 

So he knows, going to see her, that he might well be in the same position as (he believes) Bingley’s in. But Darcy’s too in love with her to care. He says to her:

“I have no wish of denying that I did everything in my power to separate my friend from your sister, or that I rejoice in my success. Towards him I have been kinder than towards myself.”

Darcy went to great lengths to separate Jane and Bingley because he didn’t want to see his friend trapped in a marriage where Bingley wasn’t loved or cared for - he’s genuinely trying to do the right thing. But he feels such an “utmost force of passion” for Elizabeth that he can’t do the same thing for himself. He’s so far gone, he wants to marry her even with the chance that she might not love him back.

WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING MOMENTS WAS YOUR FAVORITE? 93 Responses

Mikasa and Levi took the spotlight this week! 30.1% of viewers felt most hyped up by Mikasa’s “explosive” reintroduction to the anime, while 22.6% were stoked to see Levi take on Porco to save Eren. 18.3% were most hyped by the Survey Corps taking on the Jaw Titan and the subsequent cliffhanger.

THE CGI CONTINUES TO BE A POINT OF CONTENTION. BE HONEST, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE EXECUTION OF CGI SO FAR THIS SEASON? 93 Responses

Just under 50% of responses seemed to indicate that they thought MAPPA was doing very well with the CGI utilized. A little over 15% stated that although it was not their favorite, they understood that it could be a lot worse. Other responses (in order) were being neutral about the CGI, not liking it, but understanding the need for its usage and folks who adamantly rejected 3D animation. 

I actually prefer CGI titans because of the way their movements looks, it looks almost slower, to me it fits very well with how the big titans are. Im not an anime guy at all so ive never seen cgi in other anime but i really like the way Mappa's CGI looks, it blends in very well. I dont like CGI people though, the shot with Jean throwing the marly soldier off the rooftop i didn't like very much.

I feel horrible saying this believe me... but I really vibed with the CGI up until this episode. I think maybe because it's the first time its been used on humans (OPM) rather then titans. I'm not massively put off though, I really apreciate the efforts this episode must have taken. TY Mappa

The episode is great no doubt, my only concern is the CG personally, as a 3D artist myself, I think I would prefer an all 2D medium like the battle at Stohess. Using 3D is fine as long as it blends seamlessly to the background, like kengan ashura, it's not perfect but bearable.

I honestly think that 2D will always 100% be better than cgi but I can understand why mappa is using cgi

It was fine in the other episodes, but in this episode, it looked overused and bit bad

In relation to the previous question, we still haven’t seen 3 major members of the cast. Armin, Hange and Historia. When we asked which of the three you were most looking forward to seeing next, the slight majority (52.7%) expressed their excitement for seeing Armin again, followed by 11.8% wanting to see Hange most. Some others have also expressed their desire to see Historia again. 17.2% simply could not choose and 10.8% stated that they simply didn’t care about the 3 characters.

WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT THE WARHAMMER TITAN? 90 Responses

The Warhammer received an overwhelmingly positive response, with the majority expressing much excitement over both its design and powers. 15.6% noted that the design was a bit too creepy for their liking, but the powers were awesome. And on the flip side, 10% noted the Titan’s design was rather cool, in contrast to its rather OP ability. A select few did not enjoy either aspect. 

Would probably enjoy it more if it belonged to someone that likely is not going to be just cannon fodder

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE NEW UNIFORMS? 92 Responses

The Survey Corps returned sporting new uniforms to much fanfare. 30.4% of respondents really enjoy the upgrade, finding the suits to be badass. 23.9% couldn’t find the words and just settled for pure hype. 20.7% enjoy the new uniforms just as much as they enjoy the classic uniforms. 12% felt it was a much needed upgrade, though 10.9% don’t care at all about the uniform change.

EREN SAYS TO MIKASA, “YOU GUYS ACTUALLY CAME.” THIS IS FOLLOWED UP BY MIKASA ASKING EREN TO COME HOME. DOES THIS INSINUATE THAT EREN WENT TO THE MAINLAND ON HIS OWN? 90 Responses

The circumstances of the Survey Corps’ presence on the mainland continues to be a mystery. When we asked about whether Eren was there alone or not a few episodes ago, the majority believed that he was either there alongside the Survey Corps or was sent there by them. Overall, the feelings seem to be the same (that Eren came alongside the Survey Corps). 45.6% think that Mikasa’s words may have some other meaning and that things are way too planned out to be coincidence. 18.9% believe that Eren did go rogue, while 15.6% think that Eren didn’t necessarily go rogue, but wasn’t working with them for a while either. The remaining 20% have already been spoiled on this particular plot point.

THE ATTACK ON LIBERIO SEEMS TO PARALLEL THE BREACH OF SHIGANSHINA. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS EVENT IN COMPARISON? 92 Responses

Now that both sides of the conflict have had their rude awakening, we asked how you guys felt about the two events comparatively. 33.7% feel that both attacks were tragic, but still feel more empathy toward the Eldians on Paradis than they do toward those who were raised on Marley. At a tie, 22.8% of respondents felt that the victims of the Liberio attack got what was coming with them, while another 22.8% felt about the same amount of sympathy for the victims on both sides. 10.9% feel this is way worse than what happened in Shiganshina and feel more sympathy for the victims in Liberio. 

I am yet to know the goals behind this attack.

Marley did this countless times so I don’t feel bad for them. I kind of feel for eldians tho bc they are brainwashed from a young age to give up their lives for a country who doesn’t give a shit about them. 

Honestly they deserve what Eren is doing to them. Excluding Falco, no one outside of Paradis has earned my sympathy, even with the additional context.

SADLY, UDO AND ZOFIA DID NOT SURVIVE THE ATTACK ON LIBERIO. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THEIR DEATHS? 91 Responses

Udo and Zofia have joined the ranks of characters who tagged along with the main cast for a while only to be killed off for character development. 25.3% anticipated at least one of them to die, but not both. Another tie on this poll, 24.2% stated that they were disappointed and was hoping to see more of them, while another 24.2% didn’t care about them at all. 14.3% are happy to ditch the focus on them in favor of more familiar characters, and 8.8% feel pure and utter devastation.

Eren and Floch were anything but BFF’s at the closing of season 3. Now Floch seems to be wholly devoted to Eren’s cause… What changed? 28.6% believe that nothing has actually changed in terms of their relationship, but that Floch simply just latched onto Eren’s fight in need of a new devil. 23.1% feel that they still aren’t friends, but are in more comfortable “ally” territory. 15.4% aren’t sure what to make of it. Gabi moves headstrong into the fight, wanting to play her part in defending her hometown. A large chunk of anime only viewers have been spoiled on future developments for her character. But for those still in the dark - 24.4% feel that she will successfully kill a member of the Survey Corps. 21.1% aren’t sure what to expect, while 10% think she will only manage to injure someone in the Survey Corps. Smaller amounts feel she won’t be successful in any capacity or may even die herself.

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS ON THE EPISODE?

Epic episode, survey corps come back, OH YEAH, but I wished they didn’t use CGI on humans and bettered the CGI on Titans.

It really makes me sad how Eren is continuing the cycle of revenge by killing innocent Marleyan civilians, but it makes sense for his character.

I think I need more dialogue between the old crew to really settle back in with them. I kinda believe that Mappa's still trying to 'click', they obviously can't just get it right immediately. Other then that I loved the titan scenes, more than ODM scenes 😔

This was a great episode and I was literally vibrating in my seat from excitement! I think MAPPA is doing a great job with the animation and the music works really well with the action. Can’t wait for the rest of the season!

Hey, it's me again! ^.^ I was wondering if I could order a red velvet truffle this time. As a reminder, here's the info from the previous request (with new info that I forgot to mention on the other one 😅):

I'm a 5'4" tall, straight Virgo girl with brown eyes, glasses (I only need them for distance since my eyes can't focus all too well). My hair color is currently blonde, but I'm dying it platinum blonde (dying it from dark auburn so the color rn is kinda a caramel color). I'm pretty chubby, but I guess not that chubby since I'm not obese but not exactly healthy either....

Let's see... I'm pretty shy at first when meeting knew people, and tend to talk so fast I trip over my words from time to time and get tongue tied (This gets worse around a guy I like and it frustrates me). The more someone gets to know me, the more talkative I become (which doesn't mean I wanna talk all the time, I'd be happy listening to him talk more than me, but I do tend to go into an excited rant like Midoriya if someone brings up something I really like [aka MHA 🤣]). I'm sweet, caring, loyal to a fault but I can be stubborn when I wanna be and insecure (boy with me must have extreme patience)...

I love listening to music, singing (I haven't sang in front of a huge crowd before), reading, writing (though my brain jumps back and forth between ideas, so I haven't exactly finished writing a fanfic yet 😅). I get flustered easily when complimented, so....

Dislikes include bullies (I was bullied myself, so I hate it when other people do it) cheaters (been cheated on in a relationship, no way do I wanna go through it again), alcoholics and drug addicts (I would explain why but I don't wanna get into something that might trigger someone, so I won't get into the details, just know that my biological Dad was one and I've seen what alchohol and drugs can do to someone... It's not pretty)

Talents: I know for sure that singing is one of them (which is one of my hobbies XD) and I'm told I'm a talented writer (writing is also one of my hobbies :3), but given the fact that I have a brain that keeps switching focus on ideas for different fandoms I haven't finished anything yet 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Fears: The list could go on forever.... I have a slight stage fright (I shake a bit until I start singing, but I don't freeze up, never ask me to public speak thou...). I'm insecure as well, so my biggest fear is not being good enough (I can't remember if I already told you if I'm insecure and the boy paired with me is gonne have to be super duper patient 😅)

Aspirations: I really wanna be a singer one day (I'm actually doing voice lessons so I'm on my way there! ^.^) I'm good at writing lyrics but composing music? Not so much XD Oh, I do eventually wanna have a family, just later down the road with the right guy ^.^

I admire someone who is brave, compassionate, loyal to a fault (as loyal as I am ^.^ and I don't mind if he gets a bit protective of me XD)...

But, since I got dragged into too much drama during high school, I hate people who spread rumors for attention, players (people who date multiple people), and I usually stay away from people who are arrogant beyond belief (believing in urself is important, but it becomes a problem if you're over confident, know what I mean?) and people who are conceited (not to say that loving yourself isn't important, it is! I just don't like it when people are obsessed with themselves.... If that made any sense XD)

OOH back to back protag boyfriends, lucky you ;0 It actually took me a while to land on him but I have no idea why, you guys are so similar it hurts in the best way possible oml—

First off, he’s ecstatic to find someone that doesn’t mind his muttering and rambling, even more so when he discovers you do it too! You’re both naturally shy and easily flustered (which makes for some very entertaining scenes when you’re both pining for each other and get all stuttery and flushed, people have full on brought out snacks and watched 👀👀) but it also means you understand one another well, able to comfort and assure the other with ease.

In more ways than one, if you really think about it. Both of you have a history of bullying, a tendency for low self-esteem, daddy issues, gosh your relationship is so mutualistic both of you always know what to say to lift the other up 🥺 On top of all that you also greatly admire each other—Izuku’s the bravest and sweetest guy you know by far, while he thinks you’re incredibly talented in turn. You constantly support each other with your goals, heroism and stardom respectively, fighting back whenever insecurities and doubts start to bleed through because you just care for the other so so deeply, and I’m def starting to sound like a broken record so lemme move onto the zodiac portion asjfakshswajdb

Izuku is a Cancer, a bit more of an emotional sign than Virgos tend to be, but that doesn’t make you guys any less close! The relationship is a very sincere, secure, and down-to-earth one, as along with everything else you have near-identical beliefs and domestic desires (which will make his mom very happy, she’s always wanted grandkids ûwû) so no matter what hiccups you may face, you guys always power through it ^w^

There’s not much else to say lmao, you guys are practically inseparable. All your nights are spent reading together and discussing your writings, yours being stories while his were hero notes, listening to music all the while, until it gets turned down in favor of your voice that sings him to sleep. He much prefers it anyway, and will for the rest of his life〜
