the new girl at one of my favorite bakeries called me pretty this morning and it literally melted all my stress away 🥺
#kai.rambles#i was feeling sad bc my grandma is in the hospital and when i went to visit her they wouldn’t let me pass bc my license is expired#which okay ik that’s my fault but i took my passport with me just in case and the guy straight up told me that it wasn’t a valid form of id#and im like yeah tf it is ITS A PASSPORT and he said no#and while i was waiting for my mom to come down to the lobby an old lady came in and he turned her away for the same thing#and dudeee okay you turn me away fine fuck off but an old ladyyy??? at that age they don’t pay attention to that just let her pass#and then he argued with another woman bc she brought a flower arrangement and it had water so he couldn’t allow it HELLOOO??!?#so i had to leave and went to go get breakfast for my mom at least bc she stayed the night and i was supposed to stay the day#and when i came back to give her the food she told me that the nurse that was with my grandma asked what happened bc she wasn’t expecting#my mom to return and when my mom told her she immediately got so angry bc that same guy#didn’t allow her and a couple other nurses to bring in a cake for one of the residents#who’s birthday is today and they had a full on argument this morning#so it was all in all awful and now my mom has been there for more than 20 hours until later tonight when my aunt goes over :(#anyway this turned into a whole rant im sorry but im so mad bc i know for a FACT that a passport is a valid form of id#and he was just being a fkn dick#but the girl called me pretty and it took some stress off and she really liked my blush#and i liked hers so we had a little makeup 101 exchange and it was so nice at least 🥺#and i have a couple cute asks to answer that have made my day as well so i’ll get to those in a few 🥰

I acknowledged the whole "write the most extremely self-indulgent fic you want, nobody can stop you and it's good for your brain!" advice as good before, because yeah having fun while you write is important! It helps you learn and grow!
But never have I understood it as much as I do now. I managed to cram hyperspecific Jedi lore, hyperspecific kyber crystal and lightsaber construction lore, a new Master/Padawan team figuring out their dynamic, a fun not-SWTOR-canon character that doesn't technically show up at any point in this era of Star Wars but I know exists at this point in Star Wars so I'm seizing the opportunity to use them, and a fanon followup of sorts on one of my favorite Tales of the Jedi (comic) story arcs into this thing. AND I got to write a fight scene that is more or less set to Paramore's Born for This from the Riot! album, which I have ALWAYS wanted to do because it's perfect for one but could never find the right spot to use it until now.
This fic is essentially a 4-episode TCW/Rebels-esque "filler" story arc but set in between the SWTOR 7.3 and 7.4 story updates, packed with the most wildly indulgent KateBait stuff I could possibly fit into it.

I love my soon to be husband very much. He is so pretty and has a lovely voice and just the most squishable cheeks that I could pepper in kisses always
Not only that but I love his love and his eyes and the way he looks good in any lighting. I love that he sings and plays an instrument. I love how confident he is but I also love seeing him more vulnerable. I love him wholly not only for the good parts of him but also for his flaws.

So my nose isn’t fractured but the internal bruising is pretty gnarly they said so they gave me some anti nausea and some pain medication and said I’m good to go so yay not broken and medical professionals validated me and my level of pain and helped me get pain management! Success!
#We talked and we think it was pretty dislocated and I relocated it and the bruising is from the fall and the relocating#and my cat head butting me directly in the nose this morning#So like with my hEDS diagnosis it makes sense that it probably would’ve broken on someone with ‘normal’ cartilage and mine just dislocated#but the swelling and pain and general not okayness is still there so they gave me pain management#drs who listen to their patients and do their jobs my beloved <3#my best friend and mom are spoiling me tonight by letting me go out and do my normal bestie night even though I’m on pain meds & can’t drive#my best friend came and picked me up so we could go pick up dinner and hang out and my mom is coming to pick me up cuz I’m sleepy and ouchie#and it’s bed time for this little guy#but I needed my weekly bestie night but I’m bad at asking for accommodations but I finally did this time and everything is a okay 🥰#I am high on pain meds and I’m feeling fairly okay my dudes#camshitposts

We do need more Genya content 😔 In modern time, him and Nemi are inseparable and get along well in their own weird way lol.
Like Nemi would say, “You’re such an annoying little brother” and Genya would respond “Love you too Nemi” kekeke
Everyone else thinks they hate each other with how aggressive and loud they can get but they actually couldn’t live without one another. Always going out to the same places together and if they become regulars at some places, they’re just known as the siblings that are always together. Genya also definitely gets mistaken as the older brother for being taller and it irritates Sanemi anytime some stranger asks. “I’m the oldest, actually. This twerp is five years younger than me.”
Some headcanons for Genya me and Giyuu is that Genya visits pretty often. He just likes to chat with us and fill us up on his day while I cook him some good fulfilling meals ☺️ Sometimes Nemi comes over and we’re all just hanging out, watch a movie, chat, play some video games. As much as Nemi taunts Giyuu, he still enjoys him. Thanked him once for being a friend with his little brother when he came over to pick up him up and never again. Gets angry if anyone mentions it. Will aggressively tell me and Giyuu thanks for the food and to take care as he huffs out the door.

Today was such a mixed bag in terms of events that happened (so much happened 😳) but I’m currently riding the high of having found the perfect dress that makes me genuinely feel pretty and happy about my body! The last time that happened was prom 10 years ago with a ridiculous ball gown I’ll never wear again lol but that’s not even the best part! The best part of this perfect dress that will work for all occasions- casual get togethers, weddings, date nights, etc depending on jewelry and outerwear- is that it was found at a thrift store for $5!! Literally could not have been more perfect 🥰 after 3 kids I had kind of resigned myself to never really liking my body again and was focusing on body neutrality. But this dress gave me such a confidence boost! I didn’t even know it was possible.
#personal#like sure okay two of my three kids were stung by bees today#and two separate plans in two different locations were ruined because of said bees#btw did you know that if you get stung and go to your car to get away from the bees that they can somehow follow your car? who knew?#and maybe one child got a really bad nosebleed while also dealing with a bee stings#and maybe there was a bathroom accident due to a child not letting us know they had to go quickly enough#but hey! who cares about any of that! I got a great new dress 🥰#oh also my mom went thrift shopping with me and while I was picking her up her neighbor had a free giant doll house on the curb!#so we also got a super awesome dollhouse that the kids are in love with 😊#also the bee stung kids are absolutely fine we dont seem to be dealing with any allergies#the baby was actually the first one to get stung (🥺😣) but she’s fine#she didn’t even cry and kept looking at me like I was crazy when I was worrying over her#meanwhile I was stung a few weeks ago and it hurt so badly!#my baby is making me look like… well…. a baby lol

Anyway, I did know the basics of Charlie's backstory, just stuff I've found out (like form tumblr or tiktok), but seeing it portrayed in the show is just heartbreaking. I seriously loved this episode, and this entire season, SO much :'))). I'm sure I'll have more to say so I'll either edit this or make more posts lol, but right now, I'm just so happy <333. It was so good, I loved it so much :)). Also, I managed to watch the entire show in less than 12 hours, which included doing several other things xDD. So, slay for me lol XD.
Oh, and as I joked to my mom, THE COUPLES!! ALL THE COUPLES!! SO MANY COUPLES LOL!! And even just relationship plots like with Isaac xD! I love them all though don't get me wrong lol <333. What an amazing episode, and an amazing season :). They all had such great growth, and I loved everyone's individual storylines :')). Heartstopper is just genuinely such a beautiful story - or like, a billion (okay like a dozen lol) beautiful stories wrapped up in one :')). It's so crazy to me that this can exist, that I get to see something this beautiful and sweet and silly and queer :'D. I love it so much, and I'm so grateful <333.

Please don't ever get a credit card for a clothing store. It is easy to max it out and incredibly annoying and difficult to pay it off. You can ask my dad; he's got like 7 of them. And the debt is biting him in the butt.

#try not to spiral rapidly into isolation and depression New Years Eve 🥰 /s#crying crying crying my eyes out but I have to be brave like. there’s people with worse problems I feel so guilty#every day it gets harder and harder to not relapse into self harm. it’s been nearly a year#everything is too much but nothing is ever enough.
