Today was such a mixed bag in terms of events that happened (so much happened 😳) but I’m currently riding the high of having found the perfect dress that makes me genuinely feel pretty and happy about my body! The last time that happened was prom 10 years ago with a ridiculous ball gown I’ll never wear again lol but that’s not even the best part! The best part of this perfect dress that will work for all occasions- casual get togethers, weddings, date nights, etc depending on jewelry and outerwear- is that it was found at a thrift store for $5!! Literally could not have been more perfect 🥰 after 3 kids I had kind of resigned myself to never really liking my body again and was focusing on body neutrality. But this dress gave me such a confidence boost! I didn’t even know it was possible.

#personal #like sure okay two of my three kids were stung by bees today #and two separate plans in two different locations were ruined because of said bees #btw did you know that if you get stung and go to your car to get away from the bees that they can somehow follow your car? who knew?#and maybe one child got a really bad nosebleed while also dealing with a bee stings #and maybe there was a bathroom accident due to a child not letting us know they had to go quickly enough #but hey! who cares about any of that! I got a great new dress 🥰#oh also my mom went thrift shopping with me and while I was picking her up her neighbor had a free giant doll house on the curb!#so we also got a super awesome dollhouse that the kids are in love with 😊#also the bee stung kids are absolutely fine we dont seem to be dealing with any allergies #the baby was actually the first one to get stung (🥺😣) but she’s fine #she didn’t even cry and kept looking at me like I was crazy when I was worrying over her #meanwhile I was stung a few weeks ago and it hurt so badly!#my baby is making me look like… well…. a baby lol
