Mundane TWST Headcanons

Riddle: expanded the room the hedgehogs and flamingos have in their enclosures

Trey: actually eats super healthily when it comes to cooking for himself. He can make food taste like whatever he wants, so he has no problem with vegetables

Cater: used to have three diamonds on his cheek because the aesthetic was nicer, but stopped doing that when Jade and Floyd came to school because he didn’t want to ‘steal their shtick’

Ace: the type of kid to throw everything into the trash can from across the room. If it looks like it’s going to miss he does a quick little bit of wind magic to send it back on course

Deuce: his hair is blue because he dyed his hair black a while back and he doesn’t know how often you’re supposed to touch it up (his mom dyes her hair with him)

Leona: actually physically can’t stay awake through a whole day anymore because he accidentally conditioned his body into taking naps

Ruggie: is best friends with the kitchen ghosts. They pile extra food on his plate

Jack: likes to watch the sunrise while jogging in the mornings but will never admit it

Azul: allows his workers one free meal a day

Jade: when he takes off his shoes in their dorm, he stops to find wherever Floyd kicked his shoes off and sets them neatly by the door for him

Floyd: whenever he cooks, people make sure to send their compliments to the chef. He knows it’s at least partially out of fear, but it makes him happy to hear that people enjoyed what he made anyway

Kalim: always makes sure to not throw any parties within a week of Jamil’s birthday. He wants to throw Jamil a party himself, but Jamil would up stressed and trying to micromanage everything from the sidelines, so this is the best he can do

Jamil: his hair is long as a tiny act of rebellion. It’s inconvenient in every part of his job, and it makes him happy to grow it out despite this

Vil: when he gets free samples from brands he models for, he gives them to his dorm members. He can afford to buy it all himself, anyway

Rook: if someone in the dorm ever cries, he’ll stand outside their door making sure no one comes in

Epel: his family sends all of the other first years almost as many apples as Epel himself gets

Idia: used to play ‘monsters vs heroes’ with Ortho when they were kids. Ortho always insisted on being the hero, and Idia would always do the most dramatic, drawn out ‘deaths’ when he ‘lost’

Ortho: he knows he can watch and analyze movies in a second, but he likes to enjoy them in real time

Malleus: if he has ice cream, he will temporarily make the area around himself colder to make sure it doesn’t melt

Lilia: the only reason he remembers his birthday every year is because he makes a point to throw a (small) party just so he can invite Malleus to it

Sebek: is good with volume control if you ask him to be quieter

Silver: his hair is always a mess because birds try to preen him

Inktober day 25: Trey Clover // Patge Xiu-Xiu

Patge Xiu-Xiu is the page in charge of collecting the letters sent to the Three Wise Men by the kids from the city of Terrassa (Vallès Occidental).

Bit of context, in Catalonia as well as celebrating Christmas, we also celebrate the "dia de Reis" (day of the Three Wise Men) on the 6th of January and it's arguably a more important festivity than Christmas itself. Like Christmas, we also receive presents that day, but these are brought by the Tres Reis Mags d'Orient (Three Wise Men), who like Santa Claus (who has been adopted thanks to american advertisements' influence) keep track of which kids have been nice or naughty. To do so, they have a group of helpers, called Patges (pages) who keep an eye on the kids and then inform their majesties about it. They also collect the letters kids write to the Wise Kings asking for presents.

Patge Xiu-Xiu works under Rei Gaspar (King Caspar) and his real name is Patge Hassim Jezzabel. His nickname, comes from the fact that he wispers his findings to King Caspar, taken from the word "xiuxiuejar" (to wisper).

He arrives on the 26th of December to collect the children's letters as well as talking to them. Also, since 2000 Centre Cultural (a social center) hosts "Premi de Narracions Curtes per al Patge Xiu-Xiu" (Award to short narrations for Patge Xiu-Xiu), a literary contest.

I'm back twst tumblr with somewhat of a profile for this au (twst as god intended: criminals and villains) warning because I think this is a LOT of text

In this au, Night Raven College is a sort of juvenile detention to hold the worst of the worst: powerful mages that cannot be contained elsewhere. It's placement is on Sage Island, where no one can leave, but also coincidentally only half an island away from the top school in all of Twisted Wonderland: Royal Sword Academy

Though it's purpose is to hold and rehabilitate and continue to teach the boys stuck in nrc, the schools budget has deteriorated so much due to having to pay for building damages that it can no longer pay for real therapists and good teachers

That's where rsa comes in! this year, rsa has established a volunteer program for it's students where they will go to nrc as staff and hopefully help its poor students think about improving their lives

it ends up being way more chaotic than they expect...

So we're starting with:

Heartslabyul!

Riddle Rosehearts has two attempted murder charges, one being against a magicless human and the other being against a trained magician (his mother, celebrate! ms rosehearts almost died!) and a couple of theft charges

To get a better grasp on the situation that lead him there, Riddle actually meets Trey when he's 15 instead of 8, ms rosehearts finds out and gets trey sentenced to night raven on false charges, leading riddle to look for ways to rebel even harder

so he moved on to theft, things like small convenience store stuff that he could fit into his pockets, one time snatching a box of cigarettes an employee forgot to put away after someone wanted to see them

that's where he got the smoking habit. it felt good to break rules, doing stuff his mother would be appaled by

"how does he get cigarettes at nrc?" azul.

he gets caught and freaks out, gravely injuring an innocent employee and running home in panic

his mother is upset because she didn't even know he snuck out and now she's finding out he's stealing and hurting people, they get into a fight, the authorities come in to see Riddle being very aggressive and take him in

he doesn't like his red hair and dyed it blue the same week he became housewarden (dye from azul again) and his uniforms are oversized because I like the detail that his gym uniform is oversized

Trey Clover, like I said before, attended night raven on fake charges at first but when he was released and returned home he was jittery and nervous all the time

no one knows what happened, but one slow day at the bakery a fight breaks out and treyy is the only standing with 15 people on the ground, all injured

he claimed he didn't do it at first, but layer changed his story to being self defense, but he was carted back to night raven again

he tries to be good but it's really hard when everyone else are actual rowdy evil people and are willing to commit actual crimes for malleus draconia

design wise I wanted him to look like a bit of a nerd

I like Cater a lot but also wanted to spice up his design a little.

in Canon he's against magicam monsters but here? he's the magicam monster boss. he's lost all his sense of self and dignity just for pictures. he's sold pictures of Vil Schoenheit to tabloids before

specifically his crimes are loitering and stalking and breaking and entering and using his magic to get away with it

Rook calls him the chasseur de bonheur here, he likes to take pictures of people smiling and being happy, which would be good if he were some sort of street photographer doing candid shots with consent but he's not

no one knows where he got the camera and film (it was azul)

Deuce the baby. he's here for normal delinquent stuff and aggravated assault on a magicless human

he really wants to get better, he's just normal deuce spade

wears his bow crooked because he doesn't really know how to tie one perfectly yet and he would like to take the piercings off but people seem to like them

Ace almost didn't get in but he's shoplifter an accumulated 10k from stores including alcohol using his wind magic, so he qualified

it hasn't really sinked in yet that he's in here he's having normal teenager fun

i actually love this guy so much he's so silly im throwing hi.m against a wall and seeing if he sticks. i dont believe the weird "hes trying too hard to pretend to be normal because he actually hates everyone and is evil" theory i do literally think he is just. As normal of a guy as you can get at nrc. like yes he hangs out with freaks. however everyone at nrc is a freak. yes he has a weird thing with teeth No it is not the weirdest thing someone here can have. hes not evil he's just kind of two faced in the way that pretty much everyone at nrc is two faced. which is funny i love two faced bitches

also im sending him to therapy because hes an enabler and rhat becomes kind of a problem. anyways post book 1 watching your childhood friend change into someone you resent Partially because you're feeding into it is probably not great for your mental health. and i think he would be the most receptive to therapy anyways. the guys with the severe issues arent so willing to talk about their problems
