Walker left the zone to arrest him too why? Because clearly he is neglecting the child king! Smh. 😔 Walker greatly respects the rules but now that King Phantom is in place he respects something more. This child has brought order back to the zone (not really he kinda just wrote off some rules for Walker to enforce to get him out of his hair) and even after Walker imprisoned him too! So now hes back to his old ways of bending the rules to fit his whims. But this weird Bat Man person is deserving of a harsh punishment, that or a good thrashin’, for how hes done gone and treated their new King! Can’t the man tell the boy has a familial bond with ‘em? For cryin out loud the youngin already gave em core charm! No all the others can clearly see plain as day that hes apart of the boys family. (Danny made Batman an ice ward that helps protect from other ghosts… or so he thought oops it’s telling all the other ghosts that hes Danny fam)

Yet despite all this the man still is refusing to bring the kid into his fold. You don’t just go on and do that to a young one. Their King is only a baby and now this man has gone and ignored him like hes plans to go out to get some milk and never come back. Can’t he see how this is affecting his development? Walker wont have anyone doin that to his ghost King No Sir. Hes gonna education this man himself if he has to. Rehabilitation is something he can do. It’s within his jurisdiction after all.

It was Wednesday and your friend invited you to hang out with him and help, while he was in a studio helping with a photoshoot for his friends. You said why not, you needed to get out for a bit anyways. Plus you loved this kind of stuff, photography has always been one of your favorite hobbies. When you guys arrived, your friend invited you to sit in a couch while you guys waited for them to come.

As you lay on the couch you heard the door swing open and your friend say, “AHHHH finally, you guys take forever”, while laughing. “It wasn’t my fault, Hamzah takes forever to fix his fucking hair”, says a tall white guy. “ Yea okay blame me acting like you didn’t drive slow as fuck over here” says another tall, curly headed guy. They all start laughing and your friend says “oh this is my friend I invited her to come and help”. You get up and go over to them. “ Hi I’m Martin nice to meet you” “ Hi nice to meet you I’m Hamzah” They seemed extremely nice and you returned a smile and introduced yourself as well. You couldn’t help but notice how much Hamzah was staring at you while in group conversations. And you couldn’t lie you were doing the same he was a VERYYY attractive .

As Hamzah and Martin got dress your friend explained the concept of their photoshoot and what kind of vibes they were going for. As you’re helping set up lights and cameras, you hear laughing, when you turn you see Hamzah and Martin in blue scrubs. You couldn’t help but giggle as well. While taking the photo shoot the energy in the room was so good, the music in the background, everything was just perfect . “everything alright?” I asked as I walked in. Eliot spun around towards me and growled in frustration. “I know. It’s after a job and you don’t like to be bothered while you’re decompressing but Eliot…” I held my hands up as I walked over to him.

“No matter how many times I put my hair up, it keeps falling out and getting in my face.” Eliot grumbled. I nodded and slipped my arms around his waist. He begrudgingly wrapped his arms around me. “Everything ok with you?” I shook my head.

“bad day.” I shrugged. “Just finished cleaning the office.” Eliot nodded and kissed my forehead. “I think I already what you’re going to say but…” I played with the back of Eliot’s shirt. “Can I braid your hair?” Eliot stared at me for a second before turning off the stove. Then he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the living room. Gently pushing on my shoulders, Eliot walked over to the bathroom. He came back with a hair tie and the hair brush.

“here.” He said, pushing them into my hands before sitting down on the floor in front of me. Reaching for the tv remote, Eliot put on the first sports game that he came across. Then he settled back between my legs against the couch. “Go ahead and start.” I hesitantly ran my fingers through his hair.

“you sure?” I asked as I gently scratched his scalp. Eliot hummed happily.

“yeah. I think we both need it.” Eliot looked over his shoulder at me. “Just don’t make it tight and make sure it wont come apart and get in my face.” I leaned down and kissed his cheek.

“thank you el.” I whispered. Eliot squeezed my knee before turning back towards the tv. Running my fingers through his hair, I sectioned it off into three parts. Grabbing the hair brush, I brushed it. Once I started braiding it, Eliot leaned further into the couch.

“How the hell is this as relaxing as it is?” He grumbled as he crossed his arms. I shrugged.

“beats me.” I carefully brushed the hair back from his face and made sure that it was tucked into the braid. “You going to fall asleep on me?” Eliot chuckled.

“maybe.” He teased. “You keep running your fingers through my hair and I just might.” I chuckled and gently tugged on his hair.

“behave yourself there mister.” I joked. Eliot groaned and leaned back further. Pulling the hair tie from around my wrist, I secured it to the bottom of the braid. “All done.” I patted his shoulders and his head lolled over onto my knee. He fake snored as I started laughing. Pushing his shoulder, Eliot couldn’t keep the smile off his face as he peeked at me laughing.

“got you in a good mood now though.” He laughed as he sat up. Kneeling in front of me, he leaned forward to kiss me. “Thank you.” Eliot whispered as he cupped my cheeks. “Wanna watch me cook?” I nodded.

“sure. If you want me to.” Eliot nodded. “You usually don’t.”

“what can I say?” He shrugged. “I think you need it as much as I do.” Kissing me again, he held his hand out to me and stood up.

You glanced up at Bill before looking back down at your textbooks.

“Nardole?” you asked, “It would be easier to list what he hasn’t done.”

“No not him,” Bill sat down opposite you and folded her arms, “The Doctor. You’re arguing.”

Is there a monomoko stand-in in your AU?

Have you thought about the way each character would have gotten into debt? Like, some are more obvious (Wada, Kamimura, Hiroaki, Ojima etc.) but some of them would be a bit more tricky (Tamba, Watari, etc.)

Would the canon death order still apply to the AU somehow?

In their game, is the additional rule from season 2 used? Or do they follow season 1?

How would Kamimura not end up dead in the first game, since he would pass out from the first gunshot? Same case could be made about Ojima.

I know the marble game wouldn't be in this AU, but if it was, which pairing would re-create *the* marble scene? Similarly, who would be the one to get stuck outside in s2's mingle?

ok SO first of all thank you anon im so happy you like this au! second i will put the answers under the cut so it wont take a lot of space

The first game stays the same since it's pretty international and I would like to keep the way it introduces players to the games. The only thing that changes here is the name of the game (Daruma-san ga koronda) and the song. Then goes the special game. The third (technically second) game is Kagome Kagome (how could I even NOT choose this tbh); the players have to divide in teams of 10, the person with the smallest number would be the first Oni. If the Oni guesses who is behind them then that person is getting shot, if not then the Oni gets shot and the person behind them becomes the next oni. The game lasts until 100 players are left. The next game is Oshikura Manju in which players should divide in teams of 5. I won't go into details since its pretty much the same rules except only one person leaves. Then goes Onigokko (tag). Two players chosen by lottery become the Onis, so they have to tag other 18 players in given time. If Oni touches the player's arms or hands or legs then this player becomes an Oni instead, but if Oni touches the player's back or chest or head then this player immediately gets shot. If Onis can tag all the players in time then they are the only ones to survive. If not, then they get killed and the left players survive. Now I'm really not sure what to do with the final game. I genuinely have no idea sorry lol

Monomoko is the square guard. Specifically the guard that interacts with the players and tells them about the prize, the games, etc etc. Basically all of the staffside is... the staff, surprise! Seki is the officer, Yonekura is the host, Kan, Tatematsu and Hisae are VIPs, everyone else are the guards (psychology- squares, biology- triangles, engineering- circles)

Basically all i had to do is mostly make their stories be known to public there. So, for example, Mai did get caught after killing that guy, and let's just say that it couldn't possibly get a positive effect on her future. Same with Tamba. With Watari, she has a lot of siblings, her parents are divorced, in my opinion this is enough to fit her story in the Squid Game setting. So it gets difficult with like, Hasegawa. But in this case just take everything away from him so he wouldn't have anything from the beginning except his family bc I'm not a monster

The canon death order doesn't really matter here, since in Tetro death are mostly based on given motives and in SG it's more about skills.

They follow season 1 except they do not get the most X votes because not gonna lie I don't think any of them would vote O nor come back after getting out and this kinda ruins the whole point of this s2 rule. Maybe I don't understand the characters enough but I just don't think they are desperate enough.

Kamimura probably would die first or second but you know. This is not what I need so... The doll didn't notice him moving (passing out) because he was hiding behind other players. Then he would probably die when the time runs out, but hasegawa and Tamba helped him- Ruiko was helping him not pass out again while they were both hiding behind Ken. They barely made it but they survived. In Ojima's case, I think a lot of players would actually try to keep him from getting lost in his thoughts because not a lot of people want others to die (before the guards explain the prize rules of course).

By *the* marble scene I assume you mean Ji-yeong's death and honestly I don't know. Maybe Okazaki and Watari? I'm not sure. With mingle I think Chiba? If we're talking about "unnie" scene then yeah it's her

Personality: Very playful and mischievous often playing tricks on or scaring people, enjoys causing trouble. Very Self serving, wont do something if she doesn't find it fun or it doesn't benefit her. 3. Gosh this is such a great thing to hear. There are a looot of characters, and I definitely worry sometimes that it gets to be too much, but I think the IF is getting long enough for me to give enough-ish screentime to each character... though it takes me a while to cycle back to different side characters. I cant believe you remembered the cool ass girl in laser tag! :)

5. Yup, being a character driven IF, there will be a lot of romance (or friendship) beats / moments in the IF (which is already true now). The next couple of chapters will follow the same mix of sports, school and romance / hanging out, so you should already have a sense of how much romance there'll be (it'll just keep unfolding / developing for each of the RO routes!)

ok my thoughts on the section 31 movie below the break with ~spoilers~

OK so first of wtf

let's start with the story... or rather, "story". Very light on the plot, very contrived and rote. Like it was trying SO hard to be something, everything, and ended up being nothing. Basic synopsis: Georgiou is back barkeeping in the past (when isn't important apparently cuz we literally do not know) and the Super Secret Bend-The-Rules Get-Their-Hands-Dirty (this explanation was an exposition voiceover, riveting /sarcasm) Section 31 rag-tag group needs (needs) help from Georgiou to get a Super Bad Universe-Ending Weapon. The team is inept, Georgiou gets the weapon but it's stolen by a Mystery Person in a Suit and they have to find it. Mystery Person ends up being someone from Georgiou's past that she stepped on to become emperor. Im bored just typing this so i'm moving on

It wasn't great...lots of plot points seemed to exist solely to move the plot, not for any particular reason. Like the "we found a ship -> it wont fly cuz its missing a part -> we're stranded what are we gonna do -> jk i hid the part earlier so i could do a big reveal now" part.

Anyway my main gripe was that it had zero connection to the Star Trek universe? No visual cues, only 2 characters we know (which is fine not everything has to be nostalgia or an easter egg), no ships we recognize, nothing? We're just supposed to accept that Section 31 is a cool badass do-anything organization. The most connection to star trek was the constant mention of Starfleet and the Federation and assigning them as the good guys point blank period....over and over again, mostly in pointless exposition.

Besides that (and other stuff, i'm literally just bored typing about this now) the production is WILD. So many unnecessary camera zooms?? Like at the end, in a mayb 3 minute scene of just dialogue, i counted at least 5 random zooms into the characters' faces...for what. Everything was bright and flashy and tried to accentuate teh Action TM portion of things but it just read as...a lot. Also i hated teh chapter markers? Like for what.
