Currently working on a random doodle sheet of fan art and also a draw of the best boi’s (promise it will be done eventually, I just need to draw shakes head (and shade it) and I’ve been avoiding that, it looks hard to draw ok!!!). Any suggestions on what I should draw next? Currently been drawing lots of Kirby fanart doodles but I can do other stuff too (cough cough dwtb cough cough). Anyone have any recommendations on what I should draw?

7. What is an aspect of their appearance that you like the most?

The silly little pencil moustache! It's a fundamental part of his design, it's simple, it's fun to draw, and it's very gender to me personally.

10. What is their main character arc in the story? Where do they start and how do they develop? Do they get a happy ending or is their story a tragic one?

(I wrote a bit about his earlier characterisation here, sharing the link to avoid making this post super long)

Hiram's main arc develops through his ambition and his attempts to save London. The ambition began from a need to have more time to figure out the Neath, and it became a gamble to secure the city's future. His curious nature is what plunged him into a corruption arc after the Fall, and what's fuelling his need to always strive for more, have more, achieve more. But none of this is possible if the eldritch powers that be declare his home and his existence illegal, and he's not planning to stick around just to witness everything drown in ammonia and melancholy in an unspecified future.

Currently, he's working with Hell to forge a Law that will raise London to the Surface again (as per the ending of the Season of Skies), indirectly supporting all revolutionary endeavours as a plan B, although he'd rather control the Laws than dismantle them completely. Just in case, he's also fomenting as much chaos as possible on a certain chessboard.

His plans will ultimately fail because he's slowly becoming increasingly obsessed with power and control, not trusting anyone other than himself to see the bigger picture. His goals are good, but his problem solving skills are just like him, too uncaring and self centred to achieve anything useful.

He'll really start to improve and let go of some of his ego after the fall of the 6th city, but not fast enough to prevent the fall of the 7th. He won't ever become a morally good or law abiding person, but he'll tone down the unhingedness, slowly realising that the ends cannot always justify the means. He'll end up finally saving Berlin in the Neon Future, one way on another. The headcanon is always a work in progress, it changes as new developments are introduced in game, and I consider the Neon Future to be an open ending for his arc.

Hiram is a fun oc, and he has a lot of silly moments, but he's fundamentally a tragic character. No matter how much he tries to control his own narrative, he's always in the throes of his desires, and things will have to get even harder for him to understand that he needs to change and improve his attitude in order to change and improve his surroundings. But he'll end up reluctantly dragged in a found family trope in the Neon Future, and the whole narrative genre will shift from tragedy to sitcom so yes, there's definitely a happy ending, albeit bittersweet (it includes Morgan's true death, amongst other things. @thunder-threnodies and me have a lot of future headcanons that we might or might not share sooner or later)

its chris' second day and to your suprise he's not very liked so far, you managed to escape from him yesterday but today was different. it was like he was tracing your every step because when you turn around? he's there. it was lunch period and normally you go to the old makeout cupboard, where everyone would go make out with their boyfriends, seniors, ex's and even other people's girlfriends. that was until the teachers found out and another random closet started getting used. instead of constantly sitting in a bathroom stool and getting made fun of you starting using the closet to finally eat lunch in peace.

Flashback!!

after you left the classroom you head straight for the cupboard and sit down on the floor against one of the shelving units. you open ur beat up, pink lunchbox you've had for as long as you can remember and look over what you packed for yourself today. lunch ends just before u can finish and you pack up quickly, needing to leave the cupboard before the halls fill up and people realise where you disappear to at lunch.

Flashback ends!!

unfortunately chris had a feeling, and a strong one too. chris could sense something was off about your silence and even if you were hated for it he would figure out what it was, he'd made the effort to follow you around like a spy for the whole day and at lunch he finally saw where you disappeared into yesterday. he has no clue why your hiding in there all the time but he knows he's going to find out either way. he follows you and waits a few minutes before opening the door and going in, closing it behind him. you look up from the floor and see him, your heart immediately stops and you, as usual stay completely silent.

"what the fuck..."

he stares at you then you see his expression slightly soften which suprises you as its completely different from the whole mean, tough demeanor he gives off. he sits down opposite you and sighs to himself as he looks around where youve been sitting at lunch for god knows how long.

"what are you doing? there's empty tables out there.."

you shrug softly obviously not going to speak and tell him your hiding so no one can see you eating alone, he looks at your beat lunchbox, your old backpack and your clothes and he can already tell your not the luckiest of people but he still thinks your insanely beautiful and just simply misunderstood.

weeks later

its been around 2 weeks since chris found your spot and everyday without fail he's came in and sat on the cold floor with you to eat his lunch just so ur not completely alone. he's always rambling about his day or how another teacher has become one of his worst for simply asking him to do his work, of course you dont say anything but you listen to him and you nod to show him your listening. you've weirdly became kind of comfortable around chris which isnt a feeling youve felt in a while and your honestly thinking about speaking to him while he rants on about how shit his old school was and how he's glad he was finally kicked out so he could start again. your so tempted to speak and while he's mid sentence you crack.

he groans " and the gym teacher? actually the biggest dick ive ev-"

"chris." you whisper just loud enough for his head to shoot up in shock.

octavia was not being irrational with how she acted in sinsmas!! just imagine being in her shoes: your dad cheats on ur mom with some random dude, constantly picks him, and even sacrifices his life for him on live television. how would that make you feel?

“oh but stolas has shown he cares about her!” he SAID he cares about her with words, yes, but he had never shown it with his actions, atleast not on screen. you can see it in the loo loo land ep when he claimed he wanted to have a special day for via but made blitzo tag along despite the fact he can defend the both of them just fine because?? he was just horny i guess???

you can also see it in the seeing stars ep when he goes to la to look for via but gets sidetracked by blitzo again, at the end it wasn’t even him that found her, it was loona 😭

stolas is not a good father, nor was he “trying his best”, and the fact that the show expects the audience to believe that shows how incompetent the writing is at times

the MURDER TIME TRIO!!!

(really undertale and it's aus but this trio is the one that i focus on the most)

brief explanation... the murder time trio (abbreviated as the mtt) are a trio of sanses (killer, dust, and horror) who are edgy and murderous and also severely traumatized. i really like to think about them a lot because i think they're really interesting and they get my gears thinking. i usually post my art, writing, headcanons, character analysises, rants, questions (all mostly about the mtt) and then other random stuff in my life that i need to get out :3

i might talk about serious topics like murder, abuse, toxic relationships, eating disorders, mental issues, and (a LOT) more. no matter how much i sillyfy the murder time trio at the end of the day they belong to dark aus with a lot of potentially triggering concepts involved and maybe i even amplify that. if you're not ok with that stuff then i really don't mind if you scroll past my stuff or just straight up block me i won't mind 🧡

Ok so I saw the take that the reason Ami does everything she does during the second half of Toradora is explicitly for Ryuji and his happiness and like

I am honor-bound, as the owner of Minami/Aminori, to refute this understandable take with my own delusions. I won't say where I saw this take cuz I don't wanna have beef with no-one but I can't not answer either.

So I'll just pick the scene the scene that seemed to prompt this take and say nuh-uh. The fight after the room discussion. "Ami knew the guys were in the closet and she was just trying to get Minori to confess that she likes Ryuji, or that she doesn't like him, to give him a straight answer."

This one's easy to disprove. For starters, Ami has no way to know the guys were in the closet. At best, she can guess Taiga is there, thanks to the towel. Could she extrapolate Ryuji being there? I mean, sure, maybe. It's a bit of a leap in logic but let's say she figured it out.

EVEN WITH THAT!

She literally disproves it herself. She wants Minori to be honest with her, and that's what's pissing her off. I already made a whole ass analysis of this entire episode here and here (and of pretty much every important moment for Minori and Ami just check the Toradora tag in my archive) so I won't be going on a whole rant about it here but yeah.

I mean, she's not angry that she couldn't give Ryuji the answer. She's explicitly angry she can't get Minori to be honest.

Could Ryuji also be influencing her? Oh, totally. She still likes him... kinda. At this point she's so fucking done with it all.

It's true she was pushing Minori and Ryuji to be together, presumably for his sake too. But... We're in chapter 21 already bro. You think Ami doesn't know full well what's going on?

This stopped being about Ryuji at least 4 chapters ago. 5 if you push me. It's also why she's feeling so guilty! She's been pushing Minori to be honest and only ended up hurting her and Ryuji!

But why is she going through all this trouble?! Think, random internet user, think! If she already knows Ryuji and Taiga will end up together (And she fucking does), then the only person who actually stands to benefit from being wholly honest is Minori! Ryuji doesn't need the closure of a straight answer, it's Minori who needs to be relieved of the burden of a not-pursued love!

This shit ain't for Ryuji, not fully. It's for Minori.

It's first time ever I post something on Tumblr and I probably won't do it ever again, but this idea kinda stuck with me, so here you go, dp x dc prompt.

Danny is on a family trip in some hero adjacent city (preferably not Gotham, as much as I love Batpham fics, let's give others time to shine). It would be a great chance to rest if ghosts knew and respected words "free time." They don't, so he has to constantly fly back and forth between Amity and wherever he is. He doesn't know how to make portals yet, so he spends quite a lot of time on transportation alone, and then he fights and goes back ASAP, because as much as he can always count on Jazz to cover for him and the fact that Fentons aren't most observant, at some point they have to realise if he didn't pop up from time to time.

So now, he is running like a third day without so much as five minutes to sleep, purely on caffeine and spite, just got this okay looking sandwich from petrol station and strongest coffee he could buy and eat/drink in some secluded place (rooftop, abounded building, some really quiet alley, you know), right before he has to return to his family and act like he had nice night sleep and isn't "the Phantom menace" his parents are always threatening to post mortem murder AND THIS RANDOM PIGEON DARES TO TRY TO STEAL HIS FOOD!!!

Yes, he proceeds to yell at the pigeon because ✨️misplaced aggression✨️

He rants about his life right when local hero is near enough to hear him and just is like "You ok kid?"

They're not even too surprised hearing news about ghost (I mean, there is Deadman and also they probably had seen weirder), but still this boy shouldn't be the only one handling it (how old is he anyway, thirteen?). Oh, he isn't alone in it, ok, that's good. He has two friends (without powers or training) and two years older sister and not even his parents are in the know about his hero gig, well that's bad, gotta help him somehow.

From here, there are two ways it can go (at least I thought about these two)

1. Danny let's out one (1) scream of absolute terror and vanishes from the sight (especially if hero is in costume)

2. He proceeds to yell at the hero, because there is so much steam he has to let out and you know ✨️misplaced aggression✨️ once again (probably would work best if chosen hero was in civies, on their way grocery shopping or something)("There is no way this random civilan will belive me I may as well just continue" Danny Fenton, probably)

This is how Justice Legue lears about Amity (maybe because no one in Amity ever called because "Phantom can handle it" and Danny really didn't want to handle possessed heroes, I like this headcannon)

It can also start when Danny screams at someone's pet, but I don't know enough about dc to tell who would fit (I literally know it only from fanfics. This tag fanfics). Like, I know Damian Wayne is supposed to have a thing for animals, there are Klarion with Teekl (though they may not be the ones Danny would like to meet at the moment) and I think Captain Marvel/ Shazam had some connections with a tiger? But like, I don't think Danny would scream at tiger. I don't know, though. I've seen only a few episodes of the show, but he as well could just do it.

Idk, I just really want to see Danny full on screaming at the pigeon. And a hero. Take it from here, I'm really curious how someone who knows more about these fandoms (and English, it's not my mother tongue, I hope my brain hadn't gone "ah yes, it sounds similar, 'day' is how 'they' is supposed to be written" or something like that anywhere in this post) handles it. Who would even fit?

No, I'll elaborate. For my first reason, I'll quote my own post:

"Imagine. Going through your whole life looking like that." Yeah I can imagine going through my whole life looking like Fox Mulder, it's called gender eurphoria

Apart from the looks, though, he seems to have a pretty cool life. UFO hunting, investigating the supernatural, cool apartment, great partner, fun basement office, action and adventure...of course, there are downsides (missing sister, constant brushes with danger, frequently hunted by the government, paperwork, etc.), but overall it looks very interesting.

However, we're also already not dissimilar. I may not be quite as much of a conspiracy nut as he is (though of course I believe in aliens 🛸), and I'm certainly not about to join the FBI even if the 'uniform' does look hella cool, but we apparently both have issues with sleeping, eating, trust, fire, and obsession/hyperfixation (e.g. Grotesque and his whole search for the Truth), at least. [Let me know if you think my assessment of his character (and/or mine?!) is unfair or wrong; I can't remember exactly what's in canon and what appears more in fanon.]

The most random similarity is that both of us have used the sound of a light aircraft to locate something. In Mulder's case, during S01E15 'Lazarus', it's a sound caught on a recording that helps him find Scully. For me, I was hiking with a group a few years ago and we were mildly lost. However, when I heard a light aeroplane doing spin training, I knew that it could only being doing that over certain areas in our locality, and from the map we had I could work out our location more accurately, the result being that we made it home that evening.

I can also blame Mulder for my new sunflower seed addiction! Thanks a bunch.

Of course, if I were actually to turn up in a TXF episode, it would probably be as background character #3 who has a couple of lines being questioned by Scully whilst Mulder waits moodily in the background, but hey. I want to believe.

Look, this show may be a new love of mine, but yes, I do already have some potentially unpopular opinions. Buckle in...

I'm not a fan of MSR. You said unpopular! I've really enjoyed the early seasons of the show for the friendship between Mulder and Scully, and I see that as just continuing. Yes, they get closer, how could they not? But I dislike the fact that they (apparently) actually get together in the end and it's canon.

I will add the disclaimer that, yes, I am only up to S05E09 at the moment, and I suppose that the storyline could lead very nicely into it. However, at the moment from what I've seen in content on here like gifsets and edits, I don't think I'll like it, and I prefer the vibe of the show as it now is.

This marries up (!) with my dislike of many of later parts of the mytharc that I'm coming to now. It's probably because I personally prefer monster of the week episodes, but especially the S4 mytharc eps were among my least favourites, and some of them were bordering on a struggle to watch.

Which leads into my general dislike of S4, definitely an unpopular opinion according to the poll that happened recently. I won't go on too much as I've said this in some tags before, but I find it hard to believe that S4 is a favourite season. Yes, there are some good eps! Demons is my favourite of the season and among my top episodes of the show so far, and Tempus Fugit/Max was excellent. But there was also The Field Where I Died, Never Again, Memento Mori, Synchrony, Zero Sum...some of my least favourite episodes so far, that I would probably avoid on a rewatch.

I swear to you, I likely would not have ever shipped or thought Itakugi had a chance at going canon if it wasn't for that scene where her heart skips a beat, when faced with a girl who was in love with Yuji.

Like?? What was the purpose?? Only people with 0 literacy will say "Oh it's just that she didn't want Yuji to have a gf before she had a bf, she said it herself 🙄". One thing is what the character will say verbally and another is author intent. Show vs tell is KEY in fiction, and what that scene heavily hints at is that Nobara had feelings for Yuji she wasn't aware of before. So I just don't understand Gege at all. Why even write that scene that way if they weren't endgame? Why even plant that seed? I liked Yuji and Nobara's friendship just fine as it was and didn't think there was a chance at anything more between them UNTIL that scene happened. Seriously....

Anyway, this is just me ranting after checking out the JJK epilogue. I don't even want to tag this. I'll just tag the ship, because honest to God I don't want to interact with 14 year old antis in the JJK fandom 😅.

I HATE it when main characters end up with random characters who had either never shown up in the story, or showed up once or twice in the ENTIRE series and barely interacted with the other character. Authors forget that what matters to make a story pay off is that it concludes in a satisfying way with what the audience sees and experiences. Maybe the character knew the other character 12348438 years ago and was besties with them, but if the audience did not see those gazillion years of friendship and love between those characters, they are not going to care. We care about the story and characters we experience, not about random characters and moments we didn't experienced with these characters.

Again, Show vs Tell. You want to SHOW the audience how these characters come to care about each other, not TELL them. You can tell all you want, but if I didn't SEE it playing out, I simply cannot care.

I want to edit this real quick here, before someone like replies or something: I know Yuji didn't flat out end up with Ozawa, but that scene between them kinda hints at it. We see them meet up again, which, again, hints at them being the endgame eventually. We don't really see who he ends up with exactly. One could argue the same for Itakugi in a sense, since they do show up as adults together, but the scene with Ozawa being in an epilogue kinda hints at them being endgame in a more solid way, which prompted this rant. Ok carry on. lol

GUAH ok well here's a big post I made abt my biggest headcanons for him and on main @swadloom I tag him on posts and occasionally go on divine madness rants under the #guy tag but aaaaaah here's some more just for you 🤲

He 100% believes all the stuff about justice and heroism that he goes on about and all the crazyass stuff he pulls is justified in his mind for reaching that goal of becoming the most powerful protector of humanity

His eyes glow solid bright green if he's angry or out of it / distressed

I think he would do that thing tiktok boys do where they shush you and wag their finger and trace their jawline but instead of it being a flex on his looks maxing he's trying to channel physical damage to whoever he does it to

I wish him and Pit were a funny friend duo sooooo badly its unreal. Like the idea of him respecting this punching bag angel more than the gods is SUCH AN INSANE CHARACTER REVELATION that could inform SO MUCH about him then two second later he fucked up in space 4ever. Sad! Whatever imagine if chapter 17 opened up with Pit making his way through a big gauntlet of aurum ships then coming out the other end, meeting paths with Pyrrhon and hi-fiving midair. Then he zooms off and only a minute later it's all thrown away for power. Think aboutd it.

Because it's my current biggest fixation: Playing d&d with him would either be heaven or hell. He will come up with some shit the ppl making the rules never prepared for. He will take a random street beggar under his wing and give them a volatile ancient artifact. He will hype the shit out of anything anyone does. He will put his soul in a kua-toa and create a new whole ass god that he puts his soul in AGAIN so he can go party with Primus. He will poke the trap.

Part of an attempted fic I've been working on coming out in 2 million year. But I think he has mild weird psychic abilities that other gods don't have. One bit in there is him trying to learn how to gift prophetic powers but as goodwill apollo its weird and fucked up so that touching his gem just kinda traps you in his adhd mindhellscape for a bit and he doesn't fucking know how to turn it off 💔. Holding together the prophecies with sticks and stones like the spongebob puppet TV thing you know the one. Do I sound insane right now

Sometimes his use of third person upticks if he's trying to reassure himself or if he's less grounded. Which is. Most of the time really but it turns down in straightforward conversation and the like and could be every sentence if he's really out of it

Okay one fucked up one. uhh if/when he returns and gets tentatively accepted back into skyworld, he's paranoid and convinced that people are going to try to send him back to the aurum since he became one with them and in his own eyes can't go back to being who he was. He swings between desperation to return to them and desperation to never leave earth again. He keeps pretending to be confident and unbothered to at least hold on to that part of him, but when he messes up again, and proves he's just as worthless and idiotic as he used to be, he gets that feeling of the path he went down repeating until all that's left for him to do is break down and plead not to go back there, that he knows he deserves it but he'll do anything to make up for it and stay here on earth. Meanwhile none of the others would have a reason to do this, and they have no idea where this is all coming from... though maybe some of them have been there as well.

Gyuhh. Anyways. Once everyone becomes aware of the Problems ppl pitch in more than he expects, and Viridi begrudgingly creates some lil fireproof immortal friendguys, a cat and snake specifically, to be therapy animals for him. This serpentine creature is coiling around pyrrhons arm with nothing but a freak tube body and its force of will!!! And it's sticking its little tongue out awwwwww. I'm split between them having Egyptian deity names or like being the longest most insane gacha 7 star fusion type names that shorten down to like. tabby

I think he would really love insane shitty movies like the channel awesome movies or our drawings or ESPECIALLY the amazing bulk. I HATE DUST I DON'T WANT IT BUILDING UP IN MY HOME was a verbal stim for him at least at some point
