Saw this prompt for incorrect OC quotes and couldn't resist with a bunch of my Breach goobers. Some of them would absolutely say these things word for word in canon if I gave them half the chance to, though. XD

still endlessly fascinating to me that the whole "Casanova"/"romance" angle of Raymond's character is just a word-of-god informed trait that we never actually.... see, in-show?? Like, if you're Just watching the episodes without any other contact to fandom/Krew stuff, Raymond is purely just a haughty sports-themed bot with a bit of a flair for the dramatic, so Ernesto's jab at him in Let's Watch The Boxmore Show about needing to "pick a lane" between Sports or Romance feels like it comes?? completely out of left field????? 😂😂 (yes, sports pun intended lol) Like... is it just because of his whole roses/flowers motif??? Is that really all it takes to somehow constitute "romance" here?? OK I'm utterly fascinated with the implications of this. We know that Li Lianhua is actually a consummate liar when he wants to be. I mean, we joke about how he bullshits people in ways that are super obvious, but the man existed in the jianghu for 10 years pulling all kinds of identity shenanigans and no one ever questioned it. So why WOULDN'T he pretend to be unconscious when he's vulnerable but doesn't want to be? I argue that he would. And I agree that this is partly coming from pride, because that part of Li Xiangyi never fully laid down and died, but I think part of it is also coming from Li Lianhua's hypervigilant need to know what's going on at all times so he can best react to it/plan around it. Because now that he doesn't have Li XIangyi's power, he needs as much information as he can get at all times to use Li Lianhua's greatest ability to its full potential: his cunning mind.

Just a few episodes earlier (episode 30), we have Fang Duobing carrying Li Lianhua away from the cave where they confronted Nioutou Mamian. And I had to actually slow down the playback to catch this because it really looks like he's resting his chin on Fang Duobing's shoulder for the entire conversation with Yun Biqiu.

But from the way Li Lianhua's head bobs in several places during that scene, you can see that he's actually not resting his head on Fang Duobing. He's keeping it JUST above Fang Duobing's shoulder with his upper back and shoulders just rigid enough to keep it from coming down, even when Fang Duobing walks off.

But at the very very end of this confrontation, we see a close up of that walking away, focused on Li Lianhua. The point of this shot is for Yun Biqiu to notice the darkened veins at Li Lianhua's neck and conclude that he, like Li Xiangyi, was poisoned by Bicha Poison. And Li Lianhua is definitively resting his head on Fang Duobing's shoulder:

There are a few things I can think of to explain this:

Li Lianhua, knowing that the confrontation is over and he's temporarily safe in Fang Duobing's care, may have just let go and dropped his head, content to fall fully unconscious at last.

This could be Yun Biqiu just looking more closely than we can from the other wider angle and seeing something we didn't.

This could be Yun Biqiu's reconstruction of what he saw. It certainly acts like a flash of memory, the way it's been cut. And his memory might not be perfect. He could be supplying Li Lianhua's chin resting on Fang Duobing's shoulder because he expects it to be there.

(Of course it's also just possible that the people cutting the scene didn't realize that Cheng Yi wasn't actually resting his chin on Zeng Shunxi's shoulder in those other bits of the scene when they filmed the close up. XD)

No matter what it is, it says something interesting about either Cheng Yi's acting choices, Yun Biqiu's assumptions, or Li Lianhua's character for sure. ^_^

Li Lianhua not putting his head against fdb's neck is such an interesting detail to me bc cheng yi himself is a stickler for realism and detail (eg in IS when his character passed out he made sure not to use his arm to cushion his fall), so unless llh was in fact not fully unconscious during scene, there's nothing else that can explain why he isn't fully limp against fdb

And I'm more inclined to believe that llh has some semblance of consciousness here, half bc medically I don't think llh would actually be in a full in coma during this scene, and half bc despite everything, llh still has lxy's pride engraved in his bones. He might be too weak to stand or even talk at the moment, but there's some part of him that's too proud to accept having to fully lean on and rely on someone, a mentality that extends even to the very last moments of the show where he'd rather run off and die on his own than have people who care about him watch him fully loose his senses and mind. So hence, llh being unwilling to go fully limp and rest his head against fdb's shoulder, because he wants as much independence and pride in a way as he possibly can in this situation, even if it's just holding his head up by his own will

Jazz was tired, they haven't given him much time to rest since he came back. And even if they did, it's not like he could rest anyways, thinking about....about Prowl.

No way he could have just left him, right? After everything....it just didn't feel right, and the way they spoke to him about it too. Call him crazy but something in his gut told him they were hiding something from him. But it just never seemed enough to push him to look into it (oh how he would regret that for the rest of his life)

Today was supposed to be a normal routine check to the new mechas, with new recruits coming in for him to teach.

Jazz was given a new mecha suit, despite his protests to it (which surprised even him honestly, but it just didn't feel right). He hadn't gotten the chance to see it yet, today was the day they would present the new model, though it was said to be in its early stages still.

...

He doesn't know how it happened, how he'd gotten here, but all he knew was that he had seen red. When he gotten to see his new mech suit, it seemed oddly familiar in touch, in fact something about it made him feel sick to his stomach.

Small dents and scarring coated the plating around the panels that opened to the cockpit. He recognised that plating, from crawling on it with his magnets, sleeping on them comfortably despite being made of metal (there was something so warm about it, but that warmth was....lost. He wanted to puke). But what broke the string holding him together, a scar, a scar so familiar it sent him back to the exact moment he witnessed his partner getting it in the first place.

Jazz had weilded that shut himself, they had gotten in a bad scuffle a while back, and with worry he wanted to try and make sure Prowl wouldn't be in too much pain before they could get some proper help.

"Jazz?" Someone called out to him. That was the last thing he remembered.

Now? Now he stood by the halls in which they didn't allow the likes of him inside, the halls in which the scientists worked on. He made a fast dash to the last room, the room one of the scientists told him had the one he was looking for (though he wasn't proud to admit he had perhaps aggressively gotten that answer out of the poor guy). He had a weird unknown blaster weapon with him that he had ripped from the mech suit he was supposed to try out (deep down, he hoped that weapon didn't belong to Prowl. He hoped that he wasn't too late), using that, he blasted the door open hoping that would keep anyone from stopping him from getting inside.

As soon as Jazz layed his eyes on the scene before him; his partner hanging from wires holding him into place, chain keeping him from leaving, mutilated almost beyong recognition save his face, and with a small weak staticked cry from his partner, "Jazz?" the small bit of awarness he had gained back was gone again. All he could do in that moment was to yell, a desperate cry that came from the pits of his lungs.

"GET AWAY FROM MY PARTNER!"

And in another flurry of motions he didn’t have complete control over, he was beating the ever living hell out of the prick who decided it was a good idea to mess with HIS partner! He didn’t even know how long he had been at it until the twisted man he called a boss scratched his face, small bits of blood flowing out. In shock and pain, he grabbed the man by the neck of his shirt and threw him to the otherside of the room. Once he was certain that he wouldn't be getting up again, he turned to face Prowl once more, running and calling out to him as he ran to scoop up his beloved's face, blurting out a mess of an apology.

"I'm so sorry, i shouldn't have brought you here- we, we need to get you out-"

Oh did the guilt eat him up from the inside, he- he shouldn't have brought him here. Prowl probably hated him right now, but the sudden distant bell of an alarm down the halls had him scrambling to his feet to try and make things right.

Suddenly, as adrenaline slowly faded off, he realised how much damage he had actually taken throughout his rampage, a limp on his left leg catching up to him. Stinging pain on his face and limbs, but he needed to keep moving, they weren't safe yet.

"I have to get you to a safe place," he mumbled, mostly to himself, "and- and then maybe call for help. Oh but who could i even go to?" As he spoke, he started to set Prowl's limbs free from it's chains, gods they were so damaged, he could barely look at the missing parts. But as he worked his way through, he let out small sighs of relief to see that at least, he seemed to not be missing some vital parts. He could still maybe make a run for it, if only he could stall the facility long enough-

"You really shouldn't have...."

Jazz turned in shock, Prowl's voice snapping him out of his panicked haze.

"Prowl..." if he wasn’t crying already, now he certainly was. Gods he fucked up badly.

Not having the courage to face the other just yet, he turned back to the chained leg he had been working on. Prowl didn't seem to have wanted an answer either way, sitting up as he watched the organic do his work (Jazz tried to ignore the missing arm).

As he finished getting rid of the chain, he got up again, letting out a hiss of pain from his injuries (which did not go unnoticed by the mech). Clutching his left side as a bleeding cut let out a terrible stinging sensation which he doesn't think he'll ever get used to, he walked over to the final limb stuck under chains. As he walked over, he briefed over the quick plan he thought of

"Look, i- i know you might not trust me right now-" a huff, almost soundling like a disbeliefing chuckle, was heard from the mech, Jazz ignored it. "But there is a place you can go to and hide, hide- hide until maybe i can get help or- or find a way to send you back-"

"You wouldn't make it that far." Prowl spoke, matter of factly, which got a hit under Jazz's skin

"I know that! Which is why you will make a run for it. There's an exit by the other side of this room where you can leave-"

A sudden realisation hit Prowl. Jazz wasn't planning on coming with him.

And the human nodded, seeming to understand that Prowl finally got what he was saying. As he reached the last final screw to Prowl's chains, he finished off what he was trying to say "I'll keep them busy long enough for you to leave," before he could finish, as the final screw was let lose and Prowl was free to move, he felt himself be lift up from the ground and let out a startled yelp. "Wha- HEY!"

It took Jazz being shoved inside Prowl's cockpit for him to realise that he had been picked up by the mech (maybe a possible concussion he thought to himself). Jazz couldn't even try to jump out as, despite it missing the plating to shut him inside, Prowl placed his servo up to close to exit.

Desperately and confused, Jazz called out, "What are you doing?!"

To be entirely honest, Prowl wasn't sure himself, he was just as confused as the human to his actions, usually so full of logic. This one was acted apon pure emotion. Emotion of fear, anxiety, anger but most importantly

Desperation

Because somehow, this stupid human had his spark between his fingers, and he'd be dammed if he let him get himself killed just for him.

This isn't how he would want to say goodbye

You try to alert someone about this, but it didn't go too well and now rjalker is demanding for a witchhunt for anyone that goes against crippled-peeper.

And I thought shit like this only happens on twitter....

Might as well clear my name and debunk the claims present here.

To clarify, transmisic is not a misspelling of transmisogynic. It is another word for "transphobic".

First of all, I had never interacted with crippled-peeper before I got the tip from anon. At all.

I never even heard of that user before in my life.

I probably bet that the users that rjalker claim to be ableist or transmisic have never heard of or interacted with crippled-peeper either.

Next point:

Let me answer rjalker's question with a question. Have you ever seen JPEG artifacts before?

And, more specifically, do you know the difference between ai pixel art and regular pixel art?

The fact that it don't show evidence/proof that the icon is not ai generated and shows examples of jpeg artifacting clearly shows that its post is a reactionary response. (I know this sentence structure sounds kind of weird, but I'm trying my best with the pronouns that I have been provided.)

Luckily, I can debunk that claim right away because I am quite familiar with pixel art myself.

I have done my fair share of sprite edits.

And before this user claims that I'm stealing another person's art, no. I am not. My main account is @magicalmysteryperson, and here is the proof.

Now, with that out of the way, allow me to prove why rjalker's claims make no sense.

By redrawing the image from scratch. Here's the image.

Already something is amiss.

There are a whole bunch of varying line weights and splotches that are considered by most sprite artists as serious faux pas.

Some parts of the image are blending with each other.

The gradients with both the floor and the wall are way too smooth for an image like this.

And the small leaves on the soil are an extremely big give away that the image was ai generated.

I am not demonizing the person for ai generating their icon.

Yes, ai art is bad, but some people do use it, even disabled artists.

I'm not going to demonize someone just because they play with that tool.

It's the dishonesty that is the main issue here.

Remember: their story behind this icon was that they made it over three years ago.

And their stance on AI on September 25th, 2024:

However, the claim that they made the image over three years ago is put into question when in 2021, 2022, and 2023, they had various other icons... as well as using ai art constantly.

The images in the latter two screenshots have not been archived by the wayback machine, and these posts have been scrubbed by the user. Again, everything prior to 2023 is scrubbed from the account.

I will also do what rjalker did and provide wayback machine links. here, and here, and here, and especially here.

Now, let's tackle the second claim: "It's JPEG compression".

Here's both the png and the jpeg files of the plant I drew.

Note that with the jpeg compression, you can also see that even though the image looks softer, there is still a form of pixelation. It's still made up of little squares, not rounded splotches.

You can simply look up "compression artifacts" and find that what's going on in crippled-peeper's image is not the result of jpeg compression artifacting.

I have also did numerous forms of jpeg compression to see if I could replicate what crippled-peeper did.

I wasn't able to.

I just got more cronch and more pixels.

And before rjalker claims that the icon was an ai upscale of a jpeg...

I upscaled my own images on various sites to check if that claim even had any legs to stand on.

While some of the effects were present, it wasn't enough for me to replicate what crippled-peeper did unless I made the same thing with an ai image generator.

Until crippled-peeper has proof that the image was made over three years ago and made on a tablet in the hospital, the allegations presented here stand.

And please, do not harass rjalker.

I get that it made a post that, while it had the best intentions, was poorly researched and reactionary.

But I don't want that post to ruin its life.

I want that post to be used as a teachable moment.

To think before you type or post.

Don't let your gut control you. Just stop and think.

You don't want to post a call out post that completely backfires and hits you instead.

So, I had a few ideas.

One sticks to the original ending of the movie, and in this case she died not long before the resistance failed. I thought about that their base got attacked, and during the evacuation, and shielded Leo with her body.

If changing the ending, during it, Ana would join Casey, Leo and Mikey right before Leo say about time gateway. After giving Casey the instructions, Leo would turn to Ana and say that he's sorry about how he failed to give them a better future. She says it's okay, and that she'll buy them as much time as she can before rushing towards the Kraang hounds to fight them so they wouldn't interrupt Mikey.

I've been actually working a bit on a fake Rise movie screenshots of some scenes. This is just one of them, but I'm planning on drawing more once I get more of free time.

I had the idea that Leo might've dodged the laser that we saw after he threw Casey into the portal. Then, Ana covered him from the next attack of the Kraang titan. It pierced her with it's claw then threw to the side. Leo would ran to her and took into his arms. Realizing she's dying, he would panic but Ana would reassure him it's okay. Making sure Casey got to the portal, she would smile at Leo, saying they've done all they could. Leo would smile and kiss her one last time before the next laser got them both.

So, yeah, Ana getting pierced is kinda of a canon event xd

About the wedding, the theme of the final round of the tmnt oc x canon competition is wedding, so, yeah, I'm planning on drawing another comic. Already got the idea.)
