since ive always been a sucker for happy endings, i'll definitely be leaning towards that. kara would definitely remember the whole thing, both from when she didn't have her memories and how much lena wanted kara to remember which makes it all the more devastating when lena would start to push her away again once she gets her memories back. it leaves kara confused about the hot and cold and finds herself wishing she never got her memory back so much so that she tries to recreate the same incident that might have caused her to lose her memory in the first place of course lena would stop her and boom love confession. the end. haha

Omg yes merformers!!! Y/n accidentally discovering a long lost civilisation while shipwrecked and accidentally entered a relationship with Optimus become that was customary in that society. But because of the language barrier Y/n doesn't realise Optimus sees them as his mate and just glad his friendly.

I love it 😈 if i can i like to think there's pool connected to the ocean that was made specifically for the Mers to meet their spouses. And y/n just so happened to set up camp there because it as shelter and fresh water which feeds into Optimus delusion when he meets them there.

Optimus is so excited and happy that his spouse came, he wants to introduce them to the whole pod but he needs to be patience as they seem to still be overwhelmed by his presence. Also because his being a little possessive and wants y/n undivided attention after waiting so long for them. Optimus chirping handing them shells, stones or even fish as gifts to show his love and how resourceful he is UwU. When y/n realise Optimus can catch fish for them, their quick to communicate these with him which he is all to happy to do. Y/n wants fish? I will catch a whole school (of fish) for them

Ohhhh, let’s get INTO IT. ( This is particularly for my open minded, fanfic reading, Abbott fans lol)

Crystal and Ava’s dynamic is so layered, and I need people to hear me no matter how crazy it may sound LOL!

From the moment Crystal stepped on screen, it was too familiar. The little smirks, the way she just knew how to push Ava’s buttons…like, sis wasn’t just some old sorority sister, that was an old flame.

Don’t get me started on how touchy Crystal is. Like, Ava be swerving everybody 😂 she barely even lets Janine and Jacob breathe in her space), but Crystal? She lets her get close. Too close. Even to the point of hugging her. She doesn’t hug her back but she doesn’t push her away.

It’s like Crystal got some pull over her, and the way Ava’s eyes got all soft for a second? Not in a “I’m in love” way, but in a “I remember” way. Like for a second, the walls drop, and we get a glimpse of the girl she used to be. The one before the ego, before the show she puts on at Abbott. The girl that nobody else at that school has seen that side of her—only Crystal.

That’s why I very VERY lowkey feel like Crystal was part of Ava’s bisexual awakening. Like, I know in my little delusional soul that Crystal was Ava’s first real crush, the one that made her realize she was into women. Maybe in their sorority days, Crystal was the one who cracked open something in Ava, made her feel in a way she wasn’t ready for. Maybe it was love?

I could see something messy going down. I wouldn’t put it past Crystal to have played along with some pledge humiliation, made Ava feel small in front of the other girls, maybe even acted like whatever they had wasn’t real.

And that’s why Ava’s been trying to get the upper hand ever since. Every little jab, every attempt to one-up Crystal—it’s not just for fun. It’s a grudge. A wound that never really healed. It’s not just about competition; it’s about power. Like, Ava refuses to be put in a position where Crystal can hurt her again, so she masks everything with jokes and pettiness.

So yes, Ava has to one-up Crystal. But It’s not just ego. It’s protection. BUT she did let her ego go this latest episode so we shall see how this dynamic goes.

I finally reached the anticipated Willorine reunion and felt like I needed to dedicate an entire ramble for this cuz even tho I'm SURE this isn't their gayest interaction there was so much buildup to this chapter- Caroline's initial intro, asking Toof to help, Willow's reaction to Toof namedropping her, that darn cliffhanger from the previous chap, HELL EVEN THE DESCRIPTION IS RAISING EXPECTATIONS

It definitely delivered. Witness my descent to madness.

This entire chapter is very much filled with "exes who still want each other" energy and dialogues that you don't even need shipping goggles to see the palpable subtext and Flutterpage (bless her) BEING THE BEST WINGWOMAN EVER.

LIKE UGHHH Willow is trying so hard to ignore her then Flutterpage goes "She's still there" 🥹 she's such a sweetie

Then Willow was skeptical that she'd come all the way there just to see her only for Caroline to say "I do miss you actually,"

SHE AINT EVEN DENYING SHE WANTS THAT COOKIE BADLY

Then she goddamn goes

THATS BASICALLY RIVAL SPEAK FOR "I still love you, do you?" 🙄🙄🙄 That's her entire reason for coming there btw, she legit just came there not just because she misses Willow, but because she misses her DESPERATELY.

THEN WILLOW REPLIES WITH

Translation: "You deserve someone better" like SUREEE in the context of the scene she's insulted that Caroline thinks it'd be a fair challenge given her condition (tho it's pretty endearing she thinks Willow can still keep up) but STILL a part of her self-loathing is thinking she doesn't deserve to be in the spotlight with her rival anymore nor can she even do that because she doubts she'll be able to with a handicap.

BUT OHHHH IT IS NOT OVER YET CUZ GAYORINE BARTLEY IS COMING IN WITH THE

Translation: "Bitch even then, I still want you" THEY ARE MAKING ME BASH MY HEAD Willow pushing her away saying she doesn't have anything to her liking only for Caroline to snatch a random cup (I refuse to believe it had actual tea in it, girl is drinking invisible air) and saying she liked what she had just fine (she doesn't care if Willow's changed, she likes her all the same) AAAAUUUUUUUGJHJ.

THESE BITCHES ARE IN A YEARNING COMPETITION TO SEE WHO PINES HARDER AND FLUTTERPAGE (bless her) IS THE WITNESS!!

I like to think that Caroline's reaction to Willow pointing out the flaws in her ribbon technique was a mixture of emotions, joy that she's still sharp enough in the sports to notice, pride in managing to impress her slightly, and annoyance that she has the gall to call her lazy when she's probably trained more actively and properly than her in the last decade.

Anyways Caroline won the yearning contest cuz Willow was the first to push away.

I think it's pretty interesting how Willow was still trying to help her even when she's pointing out her flaws, albeit the advice is heavily laced with condescending arrogance that she probably knew would anger Caroline.

That seemed pretty intentional too, as she decided to taunt Caroline when it was clear she was going to walk away, even being calm and smiling after it pissed her off. If she hadn't, this encounter would've ended pretty friendly and even pleasant, Caroline would've probably come back some other day to try convincing her again.

But whether or not she knew that doesn't really matter, Willow wanted to push her away all the same, and unfortunately she knew all the right buttons to hurt Caroline's pride.

AUGHHHHHH on second thought a part of her self-loathing was probably thinking Caroline's fixation on her and her techniques would only hinder her growth and prevent her from becoming the star she wants to be 🥹

OR WHO KNOWS MAYBE IM JUST DELUSIONAL 😭😭😭

Wugh whatever. Willow is a character so full of angst and self-loathing and I'm so glad to see the story exploring how it's affecting her and the people close to her pretty thoroughly.

Anyways, patch is peak and I haven't even reached the major conflict, genuinely looking forward to how things go because I KNOW shit gets gayer between these two.
