this is probably gonna be even longer than my ramble after completing the greyscale series so once again i dont expect you to read all of this but OHHH YM GODDD i need to dump my thoughts somewhere cause HOLY SHITTT

after writing this out i really only managed to touch on the last 2-3 episodes but yk. there are my thoughts on the ending so it makes sense. i dont think we wanna see how big my ramble on the entire fucking series could get

spoilers ahead for anyone else who sees this: literally all of prime defenders s1 and s2

ashe came home.

ashe fucking CAME HOME.

now, i had a feeling since about episode 35 that ashe was certainly coming home, because there was so much buildup, yakko did an ashe cosplay, etc. like it would have been stupid for her not to return at that point. plus i kept seeing people drawing a post-trickster ashe and was like huh.

so essentially, i thought that because i Knew, i wouldn't get blindsided by these final episodes. in fact, knowing almost made it more... bearable? i guess, because i could hold onto the light at the end of the tunnel that ashe was 100% coming home. it almost made me feel the same hope that the group was feeling about ashe, because i had that certainty and faith in the good ending.

and then william wisp fucking died. again.

i was really sleepy when i was listening to that scene but still persisting because my anxiety was slowly increasing as the episode went on, but when the trickster just. plunged his hands through william's chest i was FULLY awake just sitting in absolute shock. i'm not the kind of person to cry huge tears over media (i think the only time i non-happy cried watching riptide was ep 53), but when william died For Real i actually gave a good few sobs. i was no longer sleepy i was just in shock and then in grief.

and i was like. oh shit. maybe there is no good ending.

something like that ENTIRELY blindsided me in such a crazy way that it had me doubting ashe would even come home.

and i kept thinking, hey, no, he's risen before, he'll be okay! but then he went to the fucking spirit realm. he got dispensed there with kumori and began the first day of forever and i was like oh. shit.

william was gone.

and the REACTIONS from dakota and vyncent were both so guttural and real and true to their characters in their own ways. like so good it's nearly painful to think about.

dakota's loud. he's loud and he's rambunctious because he's dakota. he never speaks below a shout.

but when william was torn in half, he wasn't shouting, he was wailing. the absolute shock and denial he was in haunts me dude.

dakota's was begging william not to do this to him. he could forgive william for so much-- for lying to him, for not asking for his help, for fucking killing jade, but he could never forgive william for dying.

dakota's not the kind of kid to ask, y'know? if something doesn't go the way it should to him then he'll fight abrasively and outwardly for what he believes is right, or in the harder cases he'll bite the bullet and take the fall.

but here, he was pleading with william to just. not die.

and i think the final thing that shattered my faith that hey, maybe william wasn't gone was that tide was so accepting of it. he fell to his knees, he grieved and he was torn apart for a second, but then he was back up, holding dakota, going as far as to use a whole turn in initiative to only hug his boy despite the deadly circumstances. despite the world falling apart around them. to loosely quote my other mutual cayden (<333), "at the end of everything hold onto something and dakota had to hold onto tide because it was the end of everything for him" and i think that's just. the only way i can really phrase it. top 10 moments that rewired my brain chemistry

and dont get me started on dakota LITERALLY JUMPING THROUGH HELL FOR EVERYBODY. JUMPING THROUGH HELL, LOOKING THE TRICKSTER IN THE EYES AS HE DID SO. LIKE I'VE SAID THIS BEFORE BUT SOARING THROUGH THE BURNING SKIES OF THE CHAOS REALM? THE REALM THAT CORRUPTS AND WARPS EVEN THE STRONGEST DEMONS? AND STILL COMING OUT ON THE OTHER SIDE BECAUSE YOU'RE DAKOTA MOTHERFUCKING COLE AND YOU SIMPLY REFUSE TO SUCCUMB?? FUCKING INSANEEE.

and. fucking. fuck.

vyncent. MOTHERFUCKING. sol.

when i fucking catch condifiction.

vyncent sol is such an interesting fucking character. most of the time i'm like "there is something deeply wrong with him <3" in an endearing sense because yknow. he's a little strange. he's not from around here.

but oh my god.

vyncent sol, THE character development guy ever.

he starts off season 1 violent, unable to control his powers. he's violent, and he's scared, and he's homesick, and he's like a skittish dog who bites when it gets nervous because he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing here.

but he changes. he grows.

he gets his closure with fauna, yeah, but then he finds a new home. he finds himself in a flying car, chasing after the fucking lich, watching william and dakota fighting in the front seat like a married couple, and he just thinks yeah. this is home.

and he doesn't quite unlearn his violence or his vengeance but they do certainly shift gears (also tidbit-- the 'fatal flaw' of justice is vengeance which is part of why i chose him for that human soul in the undertale shit i was telling you about :D).

his character is about balance. he has to learn not to be reckless and violent like in season 1, while also not apathetic and taking inaction like he did in s2 episodes 31 and 32.

at the end of everything, he protects william with his life, ready to interpose any attack. he thinks that he can do right by somebody this time, act now so that there aren't any consequences later (y'know, like he never did with jade, or ashe, or the lich).

but william. still. dies.

the sheer anger that vyncent felt in that moment was overshadowed so strongly by his grief, but it was still there. i can't even put it into words without going on a whole nother tangent but oh my fucking god. dude. vyncent sol has irreparably rewired my brain he is all i'm gonna think about.

prime defenders honestly is just THE character development show in general. i haven't even touched on william's development, on how he put faith in his friends over mal even if he knew it was going to make things much harder because he trusted dakota and vyncent so much. on how he literally got killed, repeatedly, over and over, in the spirit realm for 12 hours straight. on how he dirtied his hands during the greyscale arc out of fear.

on how he finally. stopped. running. stopped trying to escape who he was. but still won't come out of the closet

and god this is a looooong fucking ramble and i haven't even said much yet, this is only me screaming about the last two episodes really, but so much has happened in them that i just AUUUUGUGHGGHGHJKTEHRKJ

and. holy fucking shit.

JADE??? MAY STILL BE ALIVE??? D OYOU UNDERSTAND HOW FUCKING FERAL IM GOING OVER THIS JADE CANTRIP VENGEANCE ARC. I NEEEEEED XAVIERRRR TO SEE HER AGAINNNN JADE AND XAVIER'S FRIENDSHIP MEANS SO FUCKING MUCHHH TO MEEEEE

i think grizzly said it best, how bizly has to 'keep reminding us that prime defenders is r-rated' cause yk. the sudden violence/gore. it was so impactful you were so right when you were talking about tonal whiplash because holy SHIT.

like we were just in mario kart hell chasing after le frog who stole pizza he couldnt even eat cause he was vegetarian. and then atlas' throat was slit and he was marked with an x. (x as in xavier's vigilante persona????????RTEHRTTT$YRJHTTETR)

im just AUGUGHGHGH so FUCKING UNWELLLL OVER THIS ENTIRE SERIES. I'M SO STOKED FOR WONDERLUST BUT ALSO THAT MEANS PRIME DEFENDERS PROBABLY WON'T RETURN UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR OR EVEN LATER.

i need a prime defenders christmas episode. dearly.

the bright side of this is that now i can write a shit ton of fic + inhale every single fic under the prime defenders tag on ao3.

but GODDD this is the most gutwrenching piece of media ever. i've never had such a strong hyperfixation since 2020 because the world is just so good. every single character and npc means the world to me. even summer and doug are constant subjects of my brainrot. even fucking lightspeed and harlem and aughughugnjtr.

Okay so since I finally got around to watching Beast Wars I'm def gonna finally be watching other Tf series finally!

Just putting a lil thing here for myself an talking about whatever with the Tf shows I wanna watch bleh bleh bleh!

Cyberverse- Need to Restart, watched like 2 episodes and forgot to keep going LOL, I see so much shit that goes down I just need to sit down an have a watch, butch lugnut??? Characters that perma die in the show ??? I need to see what this is all about and I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed!!

Beast wars 2- Maybe ? Idk where it is in terms of lore but it looks like a fun watch either way!! I love how the 2d animation looks and I love the few designs I've seen from the show, lio convoy the most prominent I lovveeee his design of my gosh what a gorgeous bot.... Green an purple Megatron too!!!

Beast Machines- I am a lil weary of the art style, they are a bit gross but I'm ngl I'm a big fan of it ? Ugly in a way that intrigues me! I just hope the story is as fun as beast wars, I have not seen a lot of this show actually just designs. (and no I don't like silverbolts design he's ugly I'm sorry please make him a furry again god EW, arachnid tho ...💖)

Earthspark- I need to suck it up an watch season 2 part 1 and 2 because I just really liked its first season an got scared away when ppl said it started to get a bit uhhhh not that great so I got weary... Megatron is so gorgeous, beautiful, amazing, stunning, butch dyke, and handsome to me, you know?

RiD 2001: Big maybe!!!! I've seen so many clips that are pretty funny an goofy, I know it's not all that crazy in terms of lore or characters maybe? But it's definitely funny to me, I wanna give it a try an then see if it sticks!

Armada: ohhh yes Yess YESSSS I love Starscream in this show, I watched clips of him I've seen so many videos, I need to watch the actual show! I also just like the dynamics of everyone in the show overall? Seems nice an the humans don't make me wanna groan an cringe from the clips I've seen, also minicons!!! I love minicons!!! Yay!!!!!! Do I remember any of their names RN no but it's okay.yay!💖

OKAY I have a lot of things to say about this

One, I read somewhere that this line was the voice actor's idea. She knew her character well enough at that point to know this is the kind of thing she'd do: just absolutely twist the knife again before going.

But yeah, she blows herself up, basically; along with the tentacle monster

Adora falls to knees, Catra just stands there, and tears roll down their faces.

But yeah it reminds me of this post:

There's a fic I yelled about a few times recently as I was reading it (because the vast majority of the fic was like, 100k of UST that had me pulling out my hair) but one of the things I really liked about it was that when Catra's foster mom dies (it's an AU) Catra is both furious and genuinely grieving--she basically disappears off the earth hiding in bed for two months. When Adora's mom does the same in a short sequel, it's also portrayed accurately--she's just tired and brain-fogged. And jfc I just. I remember that, after my dad died. That I didn't feel consciously sad. I felt exhausted and stupid, and I would've self-isolated REALLY bad if Daci hadn't insisted on video calling me every day of my bereavement leave.

In the long run, though; it was a relief. A relief!! Imagine being so shitty to your kids that when you die, once the worst of the grieving is over, they mostly feel relief that you're gone.

DON'T HIT YOUR KIDS, FOLKS

(I'm being sort of cavalier here but for real: do not hit or spank your children. Unless your actual goal is for them to be relieved when you die.)

But they barely get a chance to acknowledge what just happened.

I just went and flipped the laundry and stopped by where Daci is gaming to tell them "I'm halfway through the episode and Shadow Weaver fucking kicked it" and they responded "Yeah! Kill that bitch." XD

(okay not actually halfway through but near it?)

Speaking of Daci, the only other time I watched this was marathoning s5 with them a couple days after it came out, and they cried through this entire episode. ;_;

ANYWAY okay back to the show

Hordak has his laser gun thing aimed at Entrapta. They are making Significant Eye Contact and Hordak is clearly conflicted.

AHAHAH AND HE SHOOTS HORDE PRIME INSTEAD, he goes straight through all that glass

it's 1:21pm and I have laundry to do AND Easter Vigil service starts at 8pm, can I get this all watched before 7pm?

Or am I gonna sit there in church vibrating in place for two hours knowing I have three minutes left on the episode or some bullshit lol

(That's longer than usual, yes. Easter Vigil is actually one of my fave services of the year--we start outside lighting candles (the ones inside have been out since Thursday night, even the one we otherwise never put out), then walk into the dark church, then sorta speedrun bits of the old testament (with a hymn after every reading) and then we decide OKAY IT'S EASTER NOW :D and turn on the lights and make a lot of noise and sing a few more hymns--we don't sing or say alleluia during Lent so all the hymns have that in it. There's often MASSIVE amounts of church incense, too. Anyway by the end it's a bit of a party. Apparently some churches have an actual party after the service.)(side note if you're new-ish to these posts that I'm Episcopalian, like, the priests at my church are a gay man and a woman, we're cool people mostly I promise)

See this is why these posts take forever. Why do I keep infodumping shit. This is what it's like to watch things with me in person, though.

If I get through this episode before Easter Vigil my reward is gonna be coming home and taking an edible and rewatching the last two episodes without screenshots so I can just cry over them.

And she stands up and starts to fall over and fucking Shadow Weaver helps her stand up, uGH

oh god so Shadow Weaver basically drags off Adora, Catra's like "I'll catch up, okay?" and Adora's like "no no Catraaaaa" her voice is cracking and everything, she doesn't want to do this without her and also worries about Catra and that tentacle monster thing

I'm not gonna screenshot it but poor Glimmer is fighting her dad, who is still chipped and Evil.

Bow is fighting Scorpia, also chipped and Evil. Oh hey Melog shows up and makes Bow invisible.

Micah is MEAN when chipped. He calls Glimmer a failure.

Glimmer: "My mother raised me to be brave. My friends taught me to be kind. And I'm stubborn. I get that from you. I will never stop fighting! And I won't lose another parent! I love you, dad."

She blasts him with enough magic that he collapses.

Bow, invisible, types away on Entrapta's computer she set up in the Horde thing, but when he gets it to start to do its thing he gets excited and says "I've got it!!" and Scorpia hears it and blasts him and is standing over him about to get him.

Bow: "Prime may have made you do a lot of things, but he can't turn you into something you're not. So, right now, all I need you to do is trust me."

Her eyes get normal for a second and she yells, and Bow slams a button on Entrapta's computer. There's a bright light.

Where Sea Hawk is holding Mermista, her chip goes dead and falls off. We get a lovely montage of other characters from all over Etheria, like Huntara and the folks at Elberon, who'd been chipped having their eyes go back to normal!

Scorpia: "oh my gosh I am so sorry!!"

yeah she's definitely back to normal lol

up on Horde Prime's ship:

"My device worked! I knew it would!"

Bow: "Hey, everyone. I'm Bow."

(lol there's so much story in just this frame alone)

But yeah they show people from all over Etheria stopping to watch him speak, including his dads.

"Right now, we're the only thing standing in the way of him controlling it forever. You might be feeling hopeless. You might be thinking "We don't stand a chance." And maybe we don't. Prime's too strong. His army is too powerful. But that's not gonna stop us. We need to show Prime we're not afraid of him, because we have each other. And we have love. We can't give up. And if we go down, we go down together. We need you. All of you."

"It's time to fight. For She-Ra, for our homes, for each other!"

Broadcast over, back to Horde Prime. "Put an end to this mockery."

Catra injures the tentacle monster thing, but now that green is spreading into the room, and as Catra runs down the hall towards the Heart, she stops as Horde Prime shows up in hologram form

"I had such high hopes for you." like what, dude. keeping her around and chipped like a fucking puppet as an example? eugh. (something something about how her speeches to Adora while chipped were an obvious reference to people proselytizing high-control faiths)

the moment of distraction is enough for the tentacle monster to grab one of Catra's legs and she screams in pain D:

also there's still a bunch of earthquakes happening as these two limp towards the Heart

Poor Adora is just weakly going "No...no...wait" Shadow Weaver: "Don't lose your focus. We're so close."

What's this WE shit.

But also damn one thing Shadow Weaver and Horde Prime (and Light Hope!) have in common is they both believe love and affection and "attachments" are weaknesses. Shadow Weaver just cannot seem to get it through her head that Adora's love for Catra (and vice versa) is helpful here. Not a detriment. Love isn't a distraction!!! It gives us a stable ground of security and safety from which to do hard things!!

Meanwhile poor Angella told Adora "take care of each other."

This is pulsating, and so is the Failsafe on Adora's chest

OH NO oh god Okay being near that much hardcore magic is making Shadow Weaver powerful--her hair does the floaty thing for the first time since, what, s2? And she starts reaching for it, but THEN--

Adora yells Catra's name and starts walking back towards her, and Shadow Weaver's hair falls down again and she says the most weirdly desperate-sounding "Adora, wait!"

Prime's hologram is still torturing Catra along with the actual tentacle monster

(someone has drawn rule 34 of that thing but I'm not looking for it. I am content to know it exists.)

AND THEN THE MONSTER GETS BLASTED BY SHADOW WEAVER AHAHA NICE

about time she was useful amiright

okay so is this Shadow Weaver actually realizing she's been wrong about The Power of Love, or is this just her begrudgingly accepting that these two are Sold as A Set, Do Not Separate, and unless Catra's there Adora won't be able to use the Failsafe because she'll be looking for Catra the whole time???

Like is this an emotional epiphany or just pragmatism?

oh god so she magically shoves Catra away (towards Adora), but Catra runs back to Shadow Weaver

And y'all I know I talked about this a LOT way back in earlier seasons but I cannot tell you how accurate this keeps being in regards to dealing with an abusive parent. Like if you'd asked me, even after I cut off contact, if I wanted my dad to die, I would've said No! Of course not! At that point I didn't know whether the no-contact thing was temporary or not. I just knew I needed time and space to not be constantly stressed and anxious, for a notification on my phone to not immediately fill me with so much adrenaline my hands shook.

Anyway Shadow Weaver puts up a magical shield to keep Catra back

Shadow Weaver's response is amazingly calm and quiet. "Please, Catra. You need to make sure Adora reaches the Heart. The magic must be set free."

Her fight with Tentacle Monster isn't going well.

Catra's voice is heartbreaking here. "Stop it! It's going to kill you!"

"But you, this is only the beginning for you."

THOUGHTS ON THE FINALE OF PRETTY LITTLE LIARS ORIGINAL SIN!!!!

*SPOILERS* if you haven't watched the last few episodes yet you've been warned

I am literally still processing everything but:

Was I the only one who thought the Liars' plan with the blood drive was actually kind of creative?

Ohhh the principal rejecting Tabby's film had me SEETHING. I should have known from that scene he'd be the one behind it all/pulling the strings.

Going back and rewatching the scene where Chip tries to ask Imogen if she wants to go to his place for Thanksgiving is now very uncomfortable. Thank god she had Tabby and her mom!! And that's on the tabogen agenda.

I honestly thought Shawn was going to be a part of the A stuff or the guy who assaulted Tabby and Imogen but he was not. If we get a season 2 though, I'm keeping an eye on him. No offense Noa- but he lied about the pills/drugs. Like I wonder if he really was telling the truth when he said later that he threw them out.

The club scene!! Iconic, but the rational part of my brain also was like "Yes Faran good suggestion- WAIT THEY'RE MINORS THEY SHOULD NOT BE OUT CLUBBING"

When Kelly(?) "said call me Karen" to Greg- HUHHH?

I knew Crazy Joe wasn't A

It felt too much like a red herring to me- too obvious

The Waters' house did give me AHS Murder House vibes- they really nailed the creepy vibe with the set

Yess finally I’m so glad they got the moms to talk about Angela- also the fact that each mom's situation with Angela paralleled the daughters in the present

The whole scene when Imogen and Tabby confronted Chip though?Wow. Top tier acting from Bailee and Chandler. Powerful.

Aww Elodie and Shirley saying they're going to couples therapy GOOD FOR THEM!! (technically they ALL need it lol)

Interesting way to bring back some original PLL with that Aria and Ezra mention.. but when that baby finds out that her parents were in a student teacher relationship-

Overall glad that all those nasty men were EXPOSED. Especially the principal and Sheriff Beasley. Still wondering about Wes though. If there's a season 2 I'm keeping an eye on him too.

So Kelly was Kelly the whole time- I like that there’s a possibility that she stays friends with the Liars in the future- but like what if it’s still Karen? I wanna believe it’s Kelly and that Kelly is good but still.

And finally, Imogen saying she thinks it’s over

But A killed Sheriff Beasley AND came back for Chip-

When I first heard about this show, I was skeptical at first and didn't have many expectations going into it. I never watched the very first Pretty Little Liars series in its entirety, but this spinoff somehow managed to pull me in. Thank you PLLOS Original Sin for everything! What an amazing cast and show. I would definitely recommend this show to others.

Also I'm spoiled for the thing at the end but pretty much nothing else

Let's see how they turn Judd's storyline into Owen's storyline

Okay so Judd isn't in the elevator when the building collapses, he's talking to the absolute douchebag CEO guy

I was momentarily horrified thinking that we were cutting to a shot of Owen in bed with Amy Acker's character, but it turns out it's Lisa Edelstein in a flashback

Ohhh it was a 9/11 flashback – for a second I thought they were actually going to do a CGI shot of the plane going into the building but thankfully they didn't

Also to age Rob Lowe down they had to smear Vaseline on the lens of the camera and make the shot as soft as possible

There's another mass in Owen's lung, hopefully he dies

TK is upset that Carlos was updating his will, proving once again that TK is a fucking moron

And then they got into a fight about it

TK thinks the only reason he survived both his near death experiences is because he doesn't have a will, proving twice in less than five minutes that TK is a fucking moron

Grace knows that Judd is in the building

But we instantly cut to Judd and he's OKAY

10 bucks says the CEO dude gets crushed/smushed at some point in this episode

I will say that ain't no one do building collapses like the OG

Okay I might be wrong about the CEO guy, he's now actually showing signs of humanity by helping Judd

Here I thought he was a soulless monster

All right so… it's like 8.21 in the morning and I am still waking up, and I decided to do this now because I wanted to get this damn show over and done with, so I'm pretty sluggish right now but… my brain literally just went, "oh that's why they did the 9/11 reference at the start, because of the building collapse, and now Owen's lung cancer is back and he's going to almost die in this building collapse and it's like a full circle thing"

So sometimes my brain just takes a little while to catch up, but after 16 minutes of the episode it just clicked in, so we should be good now

Owen just said there's probably some pockets of gas left in the building which is almost definitely foreshadowing

Like I know he's not going to die, obviously, but it'd be fun if he did

Owen's going in ALONE

Marjan and Paul are literally just stuck up a ladder together doing nothing

Judd's OUT

Look this is the only thing we fucking care about right

In conclusion, a total wasted possibility in a season of boring bullshit, Judd and Grace continue to be the only reason I'm still watching this show, I hate Owen more than anything and I don't give a shit about TK and Carlos

The light of the sun seeping through the curtains, the room started to get a little warm, I felt something lick my face I opened my eyes to see Darong greeting me with a small meow “Yea Yeah I’m hungry too ill go get us something to eat” I said, I got up and did my morning routine and then started to make breakfast.

mornings were lazy for me, extremely lazy, I ate my breakfast finished up and washed the dishes, while Darong was in front of the TV watching animal planet, I still don’t know whether she even understood that or not, but I let my curiosity die there.

“Darong-ah~ I’ll be back okay, I’m heading outside” I said as I put on my sneakers and head out, the heat was hitting the sand, I squinted “I’ll take a little walk” I said to myself I started to walk by the sea, there weren’t a lot of people but a few, parents with their children, an old woman with his son, I started to head towards the rock where I saw the merman last night, I was fighting with my thoughts “did I see it or did I not?” I said in a low voice, searching through my thoughts, memories of last night coming back but they were a little hazy “mermaids don’t exist, mermaids don’t exist” I started to whisper under my breath.

“Who said they don’t?” I looked back to see an old woman smiling at me, “sorry?” I said turning completely to her “I asked that who said mermaids don’t exist?” the old woman repeated herself “I saw one, when I was your age she was beautiful, she had a beautiful voice and a blue tail, black glossy hair with a green streak, they sing a song to lure humans into the water and drown them but not all of them are the same, some like humans very much, but they aren’t called mermaids their called..” she was about to finish when a guy came and stopped her “Granny it’s time to leave, come on” he said, he wasn’t tall, he had black hair and was covered in black from head to toe, his Granny started to make her way to wherever they lived, before leaving she winked at me.

“I’m sorry, my grandma believes too much in fantasy’s” he said bowing down a little

“I’m Choi San by the way” he said “I’m Lee Y/n” I said we both shook hands

“you just moved in”

“how do you know” I asked

“it’s a small town everyone knows everyone hear” he said

“ooh” I said nodding “umm I have to go it was very nice to meet you, you can stop by we have a chicken restaurant near the convenience store.. and if you need anything your most welcome to come by” he said smiling “thank you so much I'll make sure to stop by” I said with that we both waved and started to head to our own destination.

I wanted to take a walk around the town, It wasn’t big San was right, a lot of people waved and I bowed in response, coffee shop, stationary, fashion, this was a remote place but surprisingly had everything, I saw a paint shop so i went there, there were many portraits there of the sea, pirates etcetera but the one that caught my attention the most was of a man crying setting on the rock, his face gave off many emotions, emotions of sadness, joy it was hard to pinpoint a single out of those emotions “you like it?” the Oldman came from behind me “yes it's very..” I searched for the proper word to describe it “expressive” I said he smiled in response “you can keep it… I see your new.. Take it as a gift I would appreciate it please” he said, taking the painting off the wall and packing it “I-.. Thank you, you didn’t have too” I said but he smiled and waved it off.

Night came pretty quickly “Darong-ah your foods ready” I said as she licked her lips and came to the kitchen I put her bowl down “enjoy” I said and picked up the fresh popcorn and sat down on the sofa “a little Goblin will get my mind off of things” I said as I played the first episode, watching dramas was my second hobby … other than sleeping(if you even call that a hobby).

“Meow” I jolted up, shit I fell asleep I glanced at the tv to see it was still on and I was suddenly on the 4th episode great Y/n just great I yawned and got up “a nice walk would do it” I stretched and head outside, as yesterday it was calm no soul in sight I mean obviously it was midnight, I sat on the rock it was half submerged in water when-

*a rock falls*

The merman “ hey don’t leave I wanna meet you this time” I said I slightly bowed in the forward direction to see what it was but it was just a crab “great I’m completely going…AHHH” I fell back on the rock, i sighed and rubbed my back when i opened my eyes, the merman was now in front of me, he tilted his head to the side and gave me a confused look, “hi” I said in a little whisper, he started to look at my feet then at my clothes, he picked up my feet as I slightly feel backwards “those are my….hahahah.. Please don’t it tickles” I said, he leaves my feet and I sit back up , I’m not crazy this time I’m up. “What’s your name, human?” he says, wait he can speak “wait you can speak” I asked “yes I can speak all human tongues… my name is Han, Han Jisung” he said “I’m Lee Y/n” you said bringing your hand to shake it but he just stares at it “you...shake it” you said he slowly brings his hands to yours and shakes it, and then he smiles and shakes it again “ooookay” you said “I've never seen a merman before” you said, he gave you a confused look and then looks behind “Merman where?” he asks

“you” I said getting more confused, did he not know, he smiles “I'm not a merman I'm a siren, mermaids and merman's are covered with scales they resemble the fishes a lot, we sirens look like humans more” he said

“Ahhh.. okay” I said, he started to look at my feet again “how does it feel to have feet?” he asks I look at my feet then at his fins “hmm it feels like how you feel with your tail I guess” I said he makes an ohhh face “do you-” he stops then looks behind him “I have to go… will you come here tomorrow?” he said “yes i will” I said he smiles and then takes my hand and kisses the top of it, my face turns red , he smiles and then swims away “what was that?”

Han’s PoV

Alone I’ve been alone from the start, the sea is a beautiful place but sometimes it can be extremely suffocating, the land calls out to me, I wish to become a human but some wishes are to never be fulfilled.

I swim and I swim endlessly, unsure of my destination, of where I’m headed, of where I’m supposed to be, Sirens aren’t allowed near land there told to kill humans, but those who have a broken heart, who don’t wanna live, but I would never hurt anyone.

“I’m back” I said as I got in the cave, I lived with my uncle, the seeker. He was like the law here, hated humans, killed them whenever he saw one, and extremely extremely bossy.

“Where were you?” He asked not even giving me a single look his whole attention was on the fish in his hands, he was staring at it with extreme hunger “nowhere just here and there” I said as I sat down “my nephew, look at this fish” he said eyes on the fish as it struggled “what does it want most now?” He asks, I look at the fish, pity it was to be devoured by my uncle “freedom?” I said my uncle laughed “exactly, but food is essential, find a moment catch it and then kill it” he said as he ate the whole fish, sometimes I don’t get what he says “go to sleep” he says reading my expression that I have no idea what he says.

I do exactly as he says I lie down, clearing my head of everything my uncle leaves, and I’m left there alone with my thoughts when Y/n comes to my mind I never saw a cute human she was nice...right? She had beautiful black hair, her eyes were sparkling, I wonder how it actually felt to have feet …. Wait was I falling for a human

My uncles gonna kill me “stupid stupid” I hit my head with my fist, I throw my thoughts away and get ready to sleep

Han’s Pov:

“Wake up we need to go” my uncle said, hearing his voice in the morning wasn't one of the things I liked “where?” I asked as I rubbed my eyes, “ I want you to do something for me” he said and left the cave, “weird he never asks my help in anything”

“Please don't kill me” said the siren in front me, I looked at my uncle but all I could see in his eyes was amusement at how she begged for her life, I just stood there unable to move, it wasn't like this was the first time he was killing someone in front of me, he was the seeker he could do anything he wants “Han ” he said as I looked at him “I want you to finish the job” he said smiling, my heart stopped, I can't do this, I can't kill someone who hasn't done anything “I cant” I say my voice shaking, my uncle turned to me “say that again” he says “I can't do this” I repeat, he slaps me hard, my ears ring “you are gonna kill her and that's an order or I'm gonna kill all the sirens and lay their bodies in front of you” he said, I knew he'd do it, I swim toward the siren and look at her, she begs me not to but it's not like I have a choice I extend my hand to her slowly feeling the power of the water in my hand and then releasing it, water tore's through her stomach with force and she stops, I look at her without emotion, Sirens should be creatures with no emotion, my uncle smiles as he sees her turn into sea form “good my nephew well done, no emotion, just wanted to remind you that” he says as he pats my back and heads back into the cave, i stay there with her till her last breath, she deserves that much.

Y/n’s Pov

“Darong-ah~ I'm going out kay” I said as I closed the door behind me, we were out of milk, it was almost night, the whole morning I was occupied with cleaning up and thinking about the siren I meet last night, I started to walk to the convenience store, he must be very lonely, does he have any family, siblings I thought, he had a beautiful tail, and eyes

Wait-

I blinked “focus on getting the milk Y/n” i said and went in the store, i got my milk and was about to pay “I'll pay for that” someone said and I glanced back to see San smiling “San-shi you don't have too” i said but he smiled and payed “you can pay me back by having a walk with me”

“So why did you move here?” he asked as we walked “well...because of my health” I said he stopped and looked at me “health? Are you okay?, is it serious?” he asked “no not that serious, it's just a migraine not that serious, but thank you for asking.. Were you born here?” I asked changing the topic “no I wasn't born here my Dad passed away and my mom left me here” he said, eyes sad “oh I'm sorry” I said “so I've been living here since now I'm just waiting to audition and be something” he said smiling at the thought “audition? You can rap” I ask he laughs “more like I can sing, but I can rap too a little” he said rubbing his neck and chuckling

“That's cool you got to sing for me someday okay” I smiled tilting my head a little, he just nodded and looked away “what about you? Any plans?” he asked “well umm I just applied for a university, I wanna be a robotics engineer” he looked at me confused “wait you'll leave but you just got here” he said “its an online university, I'm not leaving” I said “Ahhh”

“This is my stop thank you so much for walking me back” he smiled

“It's fine if you need anything I'll be here” he said, waved and went his way

Han ’s POV:

I sat down on the sand

I wish i was a human, how could he be so heartless and to his own kind, but then again, sirens dont have hearts, I looked at my hands, I killed someone with these hands, someone who did nothing wrong, its weird how everyone longs to live, but doesn't care about the same thing, the same feeling when they kill.

“I hate the sea” i said, there's not even a soul here, i remember the warmth of Y/n’s hand how it made me feel a weird sensation in my chest, i searched through my memory for a single time i felt the same warmth as i did yesterday, i remember opening my eyes in the sea, i wasn't born i looked the same as i do now, i had no parents, but this person who claimed to be my uncle, no memory of who i was just my name.

I heard a voice whisper “who's there?” i asked looking around but I saw no one

But cursed to be a part of the sea, doesn't break easily

“Who's there?” I asked again waiting for it to say something so I can follow its voice, but I hear nothing

Y/n’s POV:

It's half past midnight and yet no sign of Han anywhere, maybe he got late or doesn't wanna come. I say to myself thinking of a proper excuse of why he didn't make it. I was kicking the water beneath me when I felt a pull on my feet. I glanced down to see the Siren boy… which almost gave me a heart attack.

“Can you not scare the shit out of me?” I said, he just laughed “you're my only source of entertainment” he said “what do you mean by only?” I ask but he ignores the question and stares at the thing I have in my hand “What's in your hand?” he asked “oh it's called ice cream its sweat here try it” he gives me a suspicious look but takes the treat from my hand, he takes a big bite and slowly chews it and swallows it.

“Wow you humans have a better taste in food then us, so this is how sweat tastes like” he said “well we have lots of seasonings here salty, spicy etc.” I say as he eats the ice cream completely “i wish you could taste them” I say “ I wish I could to” he says, my eyes were stuck on his tail “can I- can I touch your tail?” I ask he stops, eyes wide but then he looks at me “yeah” he says and slowly pulls me in the water, he takes my hand and submerge it under water where his tail is and slowly traces my hand over it, it was soft it had a beautiful red color, I wonder how it felt to have a tail and swim.

Han slowly lets me go and I panic “Hold on to me please.” I say and cling to him “I cant swim” I say he laughs at my reaction “you don't know how to swim? But you live near the ocean” he asks “nope and what does that have to do with anything”

“Okay I'm gonna put you back” he says holding my waist and lifting me up, he places me back on the rock. For a minute we stayed like that, my hands on his arms and his on my waist.

“so you don't eat humans do you?” i asked “if we did you guys probably would have noticed” he said,

“where do you live?”

I asked i was basically asking him tons of questions since the past hour “in a cave”

“Do sea monsters exist?”

“Not that I've seen any?”

“What's in the Bermuda triangle?”

“Do I look like I've been there?.... Enough with the weird human Questions it's my turn to ask” he laughs,

“Okay” I laugh,

“do you have a family?” he asks “yeah my mother died when I was young, i have an older brother, and my father” he nods he had this curious and astonished look on his face and I didn't know why “what about friends”

“I also have friends a few” I said “what are their names?” he asked which i don't know why he wanted to know but i asked him a lot of weird questions and he answered so cant really complain,

“Changbin, Chan, Felix, Seungmin, Hyunjin and Jeongin” I said he tilted his head in confusion “Why are they all men?” he asked I laughed

“well they are my childhood friends and I was never popular with other kids or girls for a matter of fact, so they were basically my only friends” he nodded in response.

“I wish I was a human” he whispered

“I wish I was a human” I whispered looking at my tail and the thing i just committed, she gives me a confused look “isn't it also nice to be a siren” she says slowly, but all i could focus was on the way her heart glowed, sirens can see human hearts, her heart was glowing a bit yellow and then green, yellow means happy or it could mean love too, green means confusion or jealousy and blue means sadness.

“I mean the sea is beautiful, and you must have other sirens who love you right?” she asked looking a bit unsure “sirens have no feelings, they're creatures without a heart, without family.. So no I was alone since the beginning” i said, her heart glowed blue, a darker shade of it, “I'm sorry” she said

“Not your fault you don't need to apologize” I say, but she avoids my eyes and looks at her hands, i was just observing her, and up till now she was a cheerful and a curious human and… different, not that I meet a lot of humans but she gave of a weird comforting vibe.

“I want to ask you something?” I said it was something that's been disturbing me since the day I met her and saw her heart glow, she hums and looks at me “I-..” I was about to say it but i felt something watching us, I turned around to see something glowing

Uncle, I should have known he’ll follow me, I cursed under my breath “I have to go” I say and dive, i hear her calling me out but I need to get away from her, for her own good

~End Flashback~

“WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!” my uncle screamed at me, i kept my gaze down

“SHE'S A HUMAN, WHY DIDN'T YOU KILL HER THE MOMENT YOU SAW HER?” he asked, but I said nothing “WHAT IF SHE KILLED YOU HUH?” he said shaking me, I snapped “BUT SHE DIDN'T” i said, i could see rage in his eyes growing and growing by every moment “IS THIS THE WAY YOU REPAY ME, OR DID YOU FORGET THAT I PROTECTED YOU, WHEN YOU DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING” he said pushing me a little

“Protect you my foot… all you did was tell me that you're my uncle other than that you never did anything, YOU LEFT ME TO BE EATEN BY SHARKS YOU DON'T REMEMBER THAT?” I asked, but he just stared at me “you have no right to tell me what to do or what not to do” i said

“That's for me to decide” he said and with that he went in the cave

Flower of Evil Thoughts- Episode 13

I think for Episode 13's post, I'm not going recap the whole thing. I'm just going to talk about some keypoints throughout the episode that really stuck with me as these posts are taking up too much time to write and gather caps for. I hope you understand.

Alright, so... we are starting off Episode 13 showing us a bit of Heeseong's past. And it would seem that from the time he was a kid, he was a pretty mentally screwed up individual. Such as throwing bricks off the roof and killing a dog. And I don't buy for one moment, one MOMENT that he "can't remember" and that he's stressed over school and depressed. That's just an excuse. Like I said. He walks out of the counselor's room, smirks and brushes off his fake crocodile tears. He uses that to get people to feel pity for him.

And would you look at that. There's Hyunsoo and his creepy dad sitting there at the psychiatric center. Do Minseok calls Heeseong out there asking if he knows why he did that. "Yes. It was because of teenage depression caused by academic stress." LOL No it wasn't. That sounds like such a fake, rehearsed line to get people to feel sorry for you. Anybody who pays close enough attention to you, or is just like you *cough*DoMinseok*cough*

"You've never met someone like you. You don't know how to play. You must've been lonely while doing it."

Oh my GOD you creeptastic man! We don't mold and groom people to turn into serial killers and be buddied up while doing it, regardless of how *like you* this kid might be. Well, at least now we know how Heeseong became Do Minseok's accomplice and prodigy. Ughhh ewww... that whole scene actually gave me chills.

Okay, so back to where we left off last episode. You know, just Heeseong and his father casually dumping Soon Young's body into the trunk of their car and finding out Hyunsoo and is wife are there at the house. Hyunsoo and Jiwon have arrived at the place they weren't planning to arrive, surprise! Or is it... trash mom looks a little nervewracked over the fact that they're just randomly showing up there. She keeps peeking and checking corners to make sure Heeseong isn't within eyeshot. It's not like a murder was just committed in the middle of the hallway of her house after all. She tries to pull the "I'm feeling tired. I'd like for you to come back tomorrow."

Jiwon interrupts with "I know everything." Uh oh...

So they're in, they're sitting down. Trash mom is all agitated again.

"What do you know and how much do you know?" her fidgety ass gets on my nerves.

Without missing a beat, Jiwon looks her dead in the eye.

"What are you hiding and how much are you hiding?" Girl YASSSSS.

And then they start pulling the whole "you know who your husband really is, and so you'll just accept that?"

"First of all, I want you to know, that I'm on his side no matter what happens."

Damn right she is. That's her man. Whether his name is Do Hyunsoo or Baek Heeseong, that her is MAN and she's got his back. She loves him and she will support him, regardless of what happens because that's what a strong wife does.

So trash dad says there are many things the 4 of them could talk about it.

"There's not only four of us. There's one more person this house, right? Where is he?" LOL GIRRRRRRRLLLLL. I REALLY love her. My badass female lead. She's not wasting ANY time. And they sure did not waste any time in showing Heeseong hooked up and supposedly in that coma. Claiming he could die at any moment. Oh, please. You can't keep this a secret forever.

"We revealed all the secrets we have." LMAO NO YOU HAVE NOT. LYING SACKS A SHIT.

The way Jiwon and Hyunsoo are looking at each other, they BOTH know something is up and that something is not right.

Ohhh, Hyunsoo, you're brave but playing a VERY dangerous game here. I had a feeling that SOMEHOW this trap he set to catch Yeom Sangchul was going to backfire. But Hyunsoo is right. The person who made a deal with Yeom Sangchul to kill him, the person who offered double the amount of money, the ONLY person who knew he'd struck a deal with Yeom Sangchul that night, who knew the exact amount of money he paid Yeom Sangchul was trash dad, Baek Manwoo. He also wanted him to kill Park Kyung Choon and was going to pay him to leave quietly. All signs point to there's some seriously shady business going on with Baek Manwoo, and I think Jiwon knows this, no matter how much he and his wife try and play up the innocent act.

"I believe I underestimated you." Well, they definitely handled that well.

"Hyunsoo, it's not me." Thing is, trash dad isn't lying. He's not the accomplice for the murders, but he knows who is and him trying to fake both Hyunsoo and Jiwon out is very obvious. If only they knew that Heeseong is not in a coma.

Oh look, the lights just conveniently go out... and here's how we find out that Yeom Sangchul did not go to the summer house. Because Heeseong tells him not to. This guy is really really smart. He's so smart, he's cunning and having that kind of person for a serial killer is rather terrifying if you ask me.

"Something is off. Something doesn't feel right, but I can't figure out what that is."

Jiwon, you're so close... You KNOW something isn't right and I think Hyunsoo can feel it too.

Also, HYUNSOO DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING IN THAT BASKET. DAMMIT. This is going to be how they frame him for the housemaid's murder. I just know it. He's literally handling everything in that basket and getting his fingerprints all over it. They plotted the whole thing with the lights going out, the candles, the mother dropping the basket of items with a tape roll in it.

They had to figure out how they were going to frame Hyunsoo, and this was too perfect. They are so ahead of the game that it's terrifying, and Heeseong is loving it because it really IS all just a game to him. He's a really scary and creepy character. His calculations are spot on with everything. I'm curious how this is going to turn out when Hyunsoo and Jiwon find out Heeseong is alive and out of his coma and he's the one doing this. I really can't get a read on Gong Mija... is she doing this because she fears for her life hence her almost seemingly reluctance? Or is she doing this because Heeseong's her son? I mean she tried to kill him twice now, so...

"Hyunsoo, I've always thought of you as family. That much I was sincere about."

Is she being serious right now? I mean here she is helping frame him for a murder he didn't commit, but is she also cooperating with Heeseong because she doesn't want her son to kill her on one of his crazy rampages? I think she's afraid of her son and fears for her life, but that she actually does care for Hyunsoo because she knows Hyunsoo is not a monster of a man that everyone has spent years making him out to be? I don't know. It's so strange... she's hard to get a read on.

"No matter what you thought of me, I have never wondered what you sincerely felt, not even once."

What does he mean by saying this? That he doesn't really care what she felt? That maybe he actually knows she's always cared for him? Or that maybe she's never given him a reason to wonder about what she sincerely felt in regards to him? The way she's watching him though as he places everything back into the basket she dropped, particularly when he grabs the roll of tape, is unsettling... I really don't get her. Why would she say that? Is she on his side and is just being used by her son and husband? Or is she on her family's side and enjoying plotting against Hyunsoo, tricking him and then framing him for murder? I can't figure her out yet... she's too back and forth and very inconsistent.

Wow... they're very thorough with framing Hyunsoo for this murder. To the point he's pulling hairs out and putting them in their car. More evidence for the police to find that Hyunsoo is the murderer. Heeseong is one formidable foe. He looks far too amused while sprinkling her hair everywhere. As they say in kdrama, AISH!!!

Alright, who's smoking cigarettes and watching Haesoo...? Is there someone else we don't know about?? Does she have a target on her back too? Can we think at all of who smokes in this drama? Has there been anything suggesting a character like that? Also, the person's handprint is on the window. I would think Haesoo would want to tell the cops this...?

You know, I'm with Jiwon on this. I really wish Hyunsoo would stop getting himself involved, but it's almost like he can't help himself. I mean I can't really blame him. Being pushed into almost committing murder (Park Kyung Choon), being told to leave quietly, having a hit put on his life, his wife finding out who he really is, almost having to leave his entire life and family behind and spending the rest of his life on the run? That's a lot for one man to deal with, but if he'd stop getting himself involved, maybe things wouldn't go so far south. Oh who am I kidding. This is kdrama.

And god love him, he's scared to the core for the safety of his family. The very idea that someone like that could exist in his life makes him sick, and the fact that they could reach Jiwon and Eunha terrifies him. This is definitely one of the WORST times he could've picked to discover he has emotions. I feel so sorry for him right now, because he's doing what every loving father and husband would around the world. He's wanting to protect his family. And I love how Jiwon tells him that they're stronger than that serial killer. I love how they smile at each other, that seems to give him confidence. that she covers his trembling hand with hers to comfort him. Jiwon is so amazingly strong. I just love her. I can't stop loving this incredible character. I may even love her as equally as I love Hyunsoo.

JEONG MISOOK IS ALIVE AND I KNEW IT. I KNEW IT. I CALLED IT!!! I called it from the VERY START of them saying they never found her body and that she is still missing. Kdrama rules. If the body is missing, it likely means that person is alive somewhere. But still I KNEW she wasn't dead. It was a feeling I had since before Park Kyung Choon tried to kill Hyunsoo. It would seem she has no memory of anything. She didn't even know her own name, so it makes me wonder just what happened to this woman?? Hmmm... and how is Sangchul going to use her for insurance? Insurance of what? Is he going to go up against Heeseong now and use Jeong Misook being alive to his advantage? This is definitely interesting.

It's 2:31am and Hyunsoo is getting a call that's waking him. I think that's me every time someone wakes me up haha. That's a pretty late time in the night to be calling anyone though. Annnnd it's Heeseong. That much is obvious. He starts mentioning Jiwon and Eunha claiming he's a fan, but it's more than obvious by the total creep factor of his voice that he indirectly threatening Hyunsoo's family. And Hyunsoo knows this. He can feel it. And the anxiety and fear in him is high now. His family has a target on their backs.

What does he do? Search up the location of the phone number and leaves... oh NO. DO NOT leave the house!!! This is the perfect opportunity they have to continue to frame you for murder. They will use the "You left the house for awhile last night, so where were you?" Hyunsoo, I admire your fierce determination to protect your family and to continue to put together pieces of the puzzle, but this is REALLY REALLY bad... and OOHHHH there's a dash cam on someone's car!!! I mean I get that they're on vacation, but please tell me that dash cam might come into play??

Inside the payphone box written on the wall is

"Hide and seek. I can see you, but you cannot see me." And we know Heeseong wrote that specifically for Hyunsoo. He knew that Hyunsoo would come to that pay phone trying to find him. He's having far too much fun with this. It's nervewracking how calculating he is.

And naturally, people cleaning up the woods would find the body. Of course. Hyunsoo left the house, went to the pay phone and that body is likely buried very close to where he was at. And poor Hyunsoo. He's so stressed out and nervous about the indrectly threatening phone call he received, that while he's pouring breakfast smoothies he made for his family, he doesn't realize he's spilling it out all over the table. Instead, he keeps repeating the sound of the voice from last night's call and comparing it to the accomplice's voice in the threatening message he sent years ago. He knows they're the same.

Jiwon asks if her hubby is okay because he's thinking so hard about something he's spilling smoothie everywhere. Then sweet little Eunha comes running with a hairclip for her daddy to put in her hair for her. Makes me wonder how often he's went shopping with Eunha, picked out little hair clips and things for her as well as do her hair for her in the mornings before school? It's such a sweet thing between father and daughter. But ohhhh, Eunha. Why do kids have such big mouths? Lol He left early this morning and she saw? Ohhhh noooo... Busted. Jiwon knows you left. And saved by the bell. Or rather, the phone ringing. It's not like he can just start telling his family right there in front of the both of them that he received a passive aggressive call last night indirectly threatening their lives.

Eunha's little "Fighting, mom!" Was soooo cute as Jiwon rushes off to work.

I love how protective Hyunsoo is over his precious little girl.

"Eunha, look at daddy. Did you talk to a stranger recently?" "No." "You didn't think first." "Hmmm? No." "Never go anywhere with a stranger. What are the rules?" "I will not go anywhere with a stranger. An adult doesn't ask a kid for help. Mom, Dad or Grandma would never ask someone else to come pick up Eunha."

Look at their big smiles. I love how holds her face in his hands and tells her she did well.

Awww baby girl is hungry! How is she SO CUTE!?

"Dad! My stomach gurgled! Did you hear that?" And when he puts his ear up against Eunha's belly. Goodness my heart melted but then cracked at the same time. I'm so scared for this little family. I'm scared to death for Eunha... she's so precious and innocent. Heeseong worked for human traffickers that also kidnapped and sold off children. I'm so afraid for her. I'm so scared something is going to happen to her.

Alright, so the thumbnail is missing on Soon Young's body again. What is it about Heeseong's obsession with fingernails?? He collects the ones on the left hand from his victims while also biting off his own on his left hand. Is this just how he commemorates the killings of his victims? By collecting their nails? Ughhh GOD he is just so GROSS.

Noona is back at Hyunsoo's shop and confirms to Hyunsoo that the accomplice can't be Baek Manwoo because during the time that he was meeting up with them, someone was watching her. Hyunsoo tells Haesoo about the strange call he received in the middle of the night. Thank GOD she knows this!! This is actually really important, I feel. I'm almost hoping that Haesoo contacts Jiwon to tell her about this after everything goes down. I don't like that Hyunsoo is keeping this a secret from Jiwon. I get why, but I wish he'd tell her. I feel like this is really important. And now Moojin is telling them about the body being found and that it was missing a thumbnail, because neither had any clue about anyone being murdered.

The fact that they found her notebook and her notes inside shows the direct connection she had with the murderer. Jiwon looks unsettled as she's reading the notes and wondering who she'd be referring to when she says "If you do this again, I'll tell madam and Director Baek." And of COURSE the body would be found in Makmun-dong... the same location Hyunsoo was at last night when he was checking where the phone call he received had come from. UGH! The Baeks had this too well planned. How frustrating...

And now that they have identified the body, Sunbae is informing Jiwon that it's her in-law's housemaid. Jiwon thinks back to last night on their drive home when Hyunsoo states he needs to meet with the housemaid. She knows something isn't right and rushes out stating she has something to confirm urgently.

I'm really trying to understand Heeseong's obsession with Hyunsoo. Why is he so obsessed with him? Does it have to do with the fact he's Do Minseok's son? Is there something he has planned in regards to him?

Moojin says something here that I feel is really important.

"Serial killers can't contain their urge to kill. Perhaps it was because they were in a situation where they couldn't do anything for the last 18 years."

He's right. Heeseong was in a coma. That's why he couldn't do anything. That's why the serial killings stopped. I'm sure he worked behind the scenes for awhile with the human trafficking ring, but the night he hit Hyunsoo with the car and tried to bury him alive? That's when everything stopped. His family even went to so far as to lie and state he left the country and was studying abroad. I mean really now.

Awww, Hyunsoo doesn't want his sister being alone and very unsafe and exposed, so he tells her that she needs to stay with Moojin. I'm not really a fan of their pairing, but I do love the fact that Hyunsoo is entrusting her safety to someone. Honestly, I'd rather it be Moojin because there's nobody else out there he can ask or trust to care for her and keep her safe. He makes Moojin promise him that he won't leave Noona alone and that he'll keep her safe.

Hyunsoo, Yeom Sangchul is not someone you can use so easily to get close to the accomplice, especially now that Sangchul has his own ideas and isn't so willing to cooperate with Heeseong now.

I'm really wondering what plans Sangchul has for Jeong Misook. He's not sympathetic over her having it rough. He's gonna get paid? How? Obviously he knows that Baek Heeseong is the accomplice and a serial killer, but since he failed to kill Misook, what are his plans to use this to his advantage? I have to do more thinking on this. If you guys have any ideas of what you think he's going to do, please tell me so we can plot and speculate.

Okay, so Jiwon is fingerprinting her husband and comparing the fingerprints. I'm not so sure she willingly believes that her husband went out in the middle of the night and committed a murder on Soon Young. I think Jiwon knows something is definitely up, because she knows Hyunsoo wouldn't just suddenly at the drop of a hat decide to randomly commit a murder after everything they've been through and after revealing his whole life to her. He had plenty of opportunities where he could have committed murder, but the very idea of it sickens him. He expressed that much on their drive home from the Baek's.

Heeseong continues to disturb the hell out of me more and more. He might love and worship his mother, but I get the feeling that if she made one wrong move, he wouldn't hesitate to murder her ass too. And I think the mother is terrified of her son so she's trying to be careful not to make the wrong move. She doesn't want to set off her serial killer son after all. And just like I said, I KNEW they were going to use Hyunsoo picking up all those items, especially the roll of tape, to their advantage. I knew she was in on setting this trap for him. And she seems almost guilty that she did that, after remembering Hyunsoo gently pulling a string of fuzz out of her hair.

Hyunsoo is calling Yeom Sangchul from the burner phone... And who answers? Well SHIT now. Hyunsoo knows that Jeong Mi Sook is alive!!! And I also feel like this is VERY important and needs to be paid close attention to.

Jiwon enters the shop and starts questioning where Hyunsoo was at. Was it Makmun-dong? So Jiwon tells him who's body they found, and that she was in charge of taking care of a person who's in a coma and that she was the Baek's housemaid? She tells him the fingerprints on the tape turned out to be his, all the while shedding tears.

At first I thought, Jiwon are you kidding me? You're a DETECTIVE. You KNOW where the two of you were last night. You KNOW that your husband disappeared from your side very briefly to help "mother" gather up items she dropped everywhere. You KNOW what kind of man your husband is so WHY are you suspecting him of murder now!? This is NOT your style, this is VERY inconsistent of your character, as well as your claim of "no matter what happens, I'll stand beside him." Those were my first thoughts upon all of this when she tells him he's a murder suspect and she's arresting him without a warrant.

Also, I knew the mother would tell the police that she suspects Do Hyunsoo murdered the housemaid. This whole entire thing orchestrated between the 3 Baeks was too well thought out and too well done. Now the entire police force believes him to be a true murderer and that he's guilty. My stomach just twisted. Sunbae just told all of them that Hyunsoo is Jiwon's husband... oh god...

CAN PEOPLE FOR REAL STOP FRAMING HYUNSOO FOR LIKE FIVE FUCKING MINUTES!? OMG!!! It's unbelievingly frustrating!!!!

Anyway, I don't think Jiwon is suspecting her husband of murder. I think she starts to cry because she knows that he's being framed. She also knows that police are going to find out and will be showing up to arrest him as a murder suspect, so she wants to arrest him first. She even tells him that they will make sure he does not get punished for what he didn't do. Jiwon knows that her husband did not murder that woman and that he's been framed. Jiwon is doing this protect him. She's wanting to take him to the police station because honestly he would be safest there while giving his statement as well, but she is not telling her husband this, because she herself wants to get to the bottom of who's framing him once again. That's what I truly believe. Jiwon has her own agenda, and it makes it hard because she and Hyunsoo are not on the same page.

Hyunsoo seems legit heartbroken that his wife believes him to be a murder suspect. So much to the point that he sees the image of his father, has a flashback to his father telling him this.

"Love can be very cunning. It is very sly. It makes you think you can solve everything, but in the end, it betrays you. Hyunsoo, listen to me carefully. When you feel the urge to trust somebody one day, it means you're becoming weak."

Okay, yes, he is distraught by this. He's genuinely hurt because he thinks Jiwon doesn't believe him. That Jiwon doesn't trust him anymore, so much so that it crushes him and makes him see his father once more telling him this. Jiwon gives him that look because she remembers him "seeing" things before that wasn't there. The fact that his wife would believe for even a moment that he could be capable of killing anyone has sent Hyunsoo's mental health on a bad decline once again, and I am so worried for him...

"Tell me something. Do you believe me?"

Jiwon can only say "What?" Because I don't think she realizes what's happening to her husband's mental stability right now thanks to her.

"Or deep down inside, do you believe that I really could have killed her?" He tearfully tells her "If you don't even believe me, then who else in the world would believe me?"

And now, here's where I believe Hyunsoo shuts of those emotions long enough to put his own agenda into play. He's not going to trust anyone anymore, because all it's been doing is getting him hurt, getting people out wanting to kill him, putting his family's lives in danger, and even making his wife not believe in him. Like hell he's going to that police station when the lives of his family are in danger and he knows it. I'm pretty sure I know what Hyunsoo is doing. For this moment, he's throwing away love.

It suggests as much from the preview for Ep 14, but it appears to me that he's setting his own trap.

For one, I will say, he's definitely heartbroken over the fact (at least through Hyunsoo's eyes) that his own wife seemingly does not believe nor trust that he did not kill Park Soon Young, so I can understand his hurt here. I think my heart ached for him too. However, I fully believe that the CCTV was a set up, as well as him "attacking" his wife and holding a blade to her throat. That was a set up too.I believe he was trying to show hostility toward his wife to better her chances and give the accomplice less of a reason to want to go after her. Also, back when he attacked Moojin, he had no CCTV set up in his shop at that point in time, because why would he? It's his OWN shop. There's literally zero reason to have a CCTV in there, especially when he never did before. His shop is right below his house. At least I don’t recall ever seeing one in there til this episode. All he did was lock the doors and close the blinds. There was no unplugging cameras at all.

He points Jiwon toward the monitor and he's turning this into a "hostage" situation because now he's been framed, yet again, for ANOTHER murder he didn't commit, and he knows that that accomplice knows about his family. He knows that the strange call he received at 2:31am was from the accomplice and that his family is ultimately in danger and being targeted. He's creating a hostage situation and is going to do his best to get Jiwon and Eunha somewhere safe. I fully and 100% believe this, because that's Hyunsoo's style and because of the preview for the episode. Like him telling his wife in a very gentle voice "We'll see each other again. Don't look at me like I'm going off to die. Wish me luck instead." Also, they're running off together hand in hand. Jiwon doesn't look like she fears for her life.

It would seem like cheap writing for her to just suddenly start randomly suspecting her husband of murder. It's not Jiwon't style and it's horribly inconsistent to her character up til now. I think both Hyunsoo and Jiwon have their own agendas because Hyunsoo kept the secret of the phone call from Jiwon, and Jiwon knows that someone is trying to have him killed, namely the Baeks. Hyunsoo is using the logical side of himself rather than reacting through the emotional side, because emotions CAN make you weak and now he needs to be as calculating in this game as Heeseong does. Now it's his turn to play Hide and Seek while finding out that Heeseong is the accomplice.

My heart is pumping now and I cannot WAIT til next week!!! It's going to be a very long, agonizing wait, these next 5 days.
