first thing i drew on my new tablet to test it out is the tv beast themselves
#gonna take a while to get used to... tfw u get an intuos for the buttons but realize u have#way too much muscle memory for ur old keyboard shortcuts (im talking YEARS. of the same/similar shortcuts. like. when did i get my first#tablet???? 2015??? YEAH.) Be wary of reviewers who say not to buy a protective foil for your display tablet.
#commentary#i got a nice glossy one for my cintiq and it made the display sharper and ironed out the scratches from near daily use#might be easier on pen nib wear too#i legit heard someone say “oh the screen doesn't get scratched up”#had me thinking that for a while until i saw an opaque circle forming right in the middle of the tablet#also my friend was tormented by the awful scritch scratch noises the bare ass display made when drawing and now it feels much more pleasant

hm. maybe snapping and finally giving up on my 2% pen pressure tablet and buying a new one after a couple of weeks of putting up with it was some kind of lucky intuition. bc it is not working at all now
at least ordering it earlier means i should get a replacement tomorrow,,,silver linings????? 🎉🎉
#it is very periodically working but 90% of the time the pen isn't registering............wuh oh#shame bc i wanted to draw. but oh well it Is late#it might be the pen that's the problem. but a replacement pen is £40 and non returnable#and a new tablet was £70 with a discount that popped up so it wasn't worth the risk 😭😭#well. at least it didn't break while i was dogsitting this weekend i guess!!#fredspeaks
