WWDITS Gender hcs absolutely no one asked for:
Colin Robinson
Colin Robinson is Transmasc Non binary and taked great pride in telling people who use he/him pronouns on them that he actually uses exclusively They/Them.
In actuality,Colin uses all pronouns. He just likes to feed off of people's guilt they feel when they "misgender him."
Guillermo
Guillermo is a trans man and Vampgender! I hc Guillermo as Autistic (all of them are autistic), and so his gender is linked to their special interest. He uses He/They/Vamp.
Guillermo seems like Vamp would have quite bad dysphoria, and so any sort of extreme feminine thing or term directed at him really upsets him. They have had top surgery and are on T, but haven't come out to the vampires yet.
Nandor
Nandor is Transmasc. He uses He/They pronouns and is a tad more Androgynous leaning then masc leaning. He's possibly comfortable with fem terms but is uncomfortable with trying them out because in his home country, there was a lot of toxic masculinity. Their dysphoria isn't as bad as it used to be as one: they got top surgery and obviously used a Djinn wish to basically get bittom surgery and two: after 700+ years i dont really think you'd think about that stuff much anymore.
Laszlo
Laszlo is transmasc but doesn't really care about how people perceive him. He's more comfortable in a masc body, yes, but isn't uncomfortable with being perceived as feminine. Any pronouns but he/him is preferred.
Nadja
Nadja is transfem, but like Laszlo, she doesn't mind being perceived as masc all that much. Their dysphoria is a tad bit more severe than Laszlo's,but Laszlo reminds people daily of how beautiful his good lady wife is. She/They.
Let me know if you want to hear any more hcs from me! My asks are always open :)

I think if i was to trans the gender of any of the TOS crew, my first choice would be Scotty. You're telling me you don't want the chief engineering officer to be a beautiful butch trans woman, always up to her elbows in grease, who will tell you about the warp core in a thick Scottish accent????? I don't believe you.

eddie being invited to girls night on the basis they clocked his gay ass & his persona seemed exhausting. and it quickly becomes the closest thing he’s ever had to experiencing “girlhood.”
because although, yes, he’s not a girl—never has been—he grew up hearing all about sleepovers, parties, lunch groups, that he never was apart of. he never had much of anyone, frankly, there was one girl he can’t remember the name of, but he moved away when he was eight. and by then, he was already trying to drop who he was told to be—and just be eddie.
and boys, well, boys are drastically different. the roughhousing, teasing, and constant need to puff your chest up to be seen as cool. he only started doing that when he couldn’t take being alone anymore. at least that way, he still has a good group of guys to lean on.
but the long and short of it is: he never got girlhood. not even something similar. he never got sleepovers, doing each other’s hair and makeup, gossiping about crushes while painting nails, and giggling over romcoms.
he never thought he’d get that. he also thought he never would’ve felt comfortable trying.
yet here he was, in the middle of another girls night at kimmy’s. feeling everything but uncomfortable. he can relax, not care how his voice sounds or how he phrases things. not care if he’s the odd one out because they actually want him there. not care when they tease or pick on him because he knows it’s just fun and they could actually care less.
they didn’t know when they invited him, purely inviting him on the basis of just eddie. but when they found out—when eddie mentioned it offhandedly—they where quick to confirm then clarify that was not the reason for inviting him, obviously. he reassured the girls that he knew that, he just thought to mention it. and my god, nothing changed. it’s was refreshing to just- be. with people. feel comfortable around people.
he just never expected it to be at girls night.

Two things that are simultaneously true:
1. Gender and sexuality are complex and can be fluid. An identity isn't always fixed and can change with time for many reasons
2. It is not acceptable to force others to change their gender or sexuality and the mantra that they (queer people) can change if they only "try hard" is both cruel and homophobia and/or transphobia
#queer#lgbt#lgbtq#homophobia#homophobia tw#transphobia#transphobia tw#when i first came out as trans i was told this story about how my dad's therapist had a lesbian client with homophobic parents...#...how her parents were *so close* to coming to terms with her lesbianism and she got a boyfriend and look! she changed so why couldn't you!#the thing that was so fucked up about that story was that it was presented as 'oh you don't know who you are! you'll change!'#and i was never listened to until i went 'so far' in my transness that changing was impractical...#...it never enforced that my sense of self is dynamic but that who i was is something to be 'fixed'#i think a lot of queer people are hostile to the idea of gender/sexuality fluidity because it's framed in such a way...#...that tells them that their queerness will eventually be 'cured'...#...so any notion of 'identity can be fluid' reads like 'your queerness is a flaw and a horrible thing'...#...but that's not the solution to people whose identity has fluctuated and changed...#...it isn't their fault that queerphobes latched onto them as 'case studies' to prove that queerness is curable...#...a queerphobe would latch onto ANYTHING in order to prevent you from living...#...'oh lesbians married men in order to protect themselves? why can't you do that?! why must you insist on marrying a woman?!'...#...that's an example of how they'd just latch onto something else if 'identity is dynamic' didn't exist#the context of 'identity is dynamic' is often one of the most important factors in if it is meant as queer-afirming or not ime

i keep trying to uninstall gender but society keeps forcing mandatory updates that won't let me completely remove the program from my device, so instead i have to settle for just going into settings and removing all permissions & silencing notifications regularly. wish there was an Opt Out button. this gender shit starting to feel like tumblr live & i just gotta keep snoozing it weekly for the rest of my life

i've seen people talk about sirius seeing noel for the first time and having a gay panic and while they are absolutely correct, have you considered the inverse

microchip registration for my ferret today asking for her name, age, sex and her instagram like they’re going to spy on her real and actual socials as a ferret and be like “sorry you’re just not the sort of candidate we want in this position we’re coming to pull the microchip back out in 3-5 working days”

it's still genuinely funny to me that the only eggs to use "she" pronouns decided their pronouns themselves lmfao
