Hello blusy!
I would like to request something about Donna dating reader and everything going great but reader's family is hesitant about the relationship and that makes reader sad. Donna sensing how important family is to reader decides to get out of her comfort zone and tries to make reader's family more comfortable around her like making toys for readers little nieces and nephews after seeing their parents don't have much money to buy them a lot of toys. and ironically the little ones of the family are the ones more comfortable around donna and angie. Maybe one day reader gets sick and her family witness how donna is there for her and taking care of her and that makes them change their mind like "okay, maybe she is not that bad like they say".
Thank you!
Yesss!!!! Thank you for your request!!! I hope you like it and sorry about the language mistakes!!!! :))))

N/A: Sorry about the language mistakes!!! Requests are open!!! I'm waiting yours!!! I love you all!!! :))
“Ugh, mom,” you protested while your mother hugged you as if she hadn't seen you in years.
“(Y/N), you don't know how happy I am to see you,” the woman said, with shining eyes, as if she really thought that for a moment she had lost you. “I thought I would never…”
“It's not that big of a deal,” you said with an amused smile, downplaying it while you made a gesture with your hands.
“Young lady,” your father whispered, crossing his arms as you entered the house. “We were really worried about you. You didn't come last week.”
“Oh, well, I had a terrible cold,” you explained, accompanying your parents to the living room. “I was too tired to come.”
“It was definitely a cold,” your father said with a certain irony that made you roll your eyes. “You could have called.”
“Sorry, dad, I was too busy with the fever,” you said amused, relaxing in what was once your home. “I've told you a thousand times that I'm fine.”
They both looked at each other with a strange expression, sitting next to you and bringing you a cup of tea.
“I know those looks,” you said suspiciously, frowning. “What's wrong? Did something happen with Mihaela? Oh, don't tell me she's pregnant again.”
“Your sister is perfectly fine, (Y/N),” your mother said with a serious tone.
“Great,” you said nodding, blowing on your cup. “Me too.”
“Allow me to doubt it,” your father murmured, with his eyebrows raised.
“Look at me, I’m fine,” you said spreading your arms in an exaggerated way. “I've never been better,” you said the last sentence with a slightly darker tone, knowing what they really meant. “(Y/N), honey, why don't you come home?” your mother finally asked, giving vent to something you knew she was holding back. “You'd be better off with your parents.”
“Mm, I see,” you said, huffing again, leaning your back on the couch as you shook your head. “There's no way I'm coming to visit you without you trying to drag me back into your shelter, huh?”
“We only want the best for you,” your mother said, with a worried expression.
“What about Mihaela? You don't demand that she come back to live with you,” you protested, in a somewhat childish way.
“Mihaela has formed a wonderful family, (Y/N),” your father asserted. “A completely normal one.”
“Oh, of course, I'm not normal,” you said in a mocking tone, narrowing your eyes. “I've heard this before.”
“What your father means, (Y/N),” your mother interrupted, giving her husband a fiery look. “It's that your sister doesn't give us any reason to worry about.”
“Doesn’t she?” you said, blinking petulantly. “So, according to you, I should be married and giving you lots of grandchildren, right?”
“Sometimes I dream that's true, (Y/N),” the man said, with a satisfied look. “At least she doesn't live with a dangerous crazy woman.”
“Hey,” you sighed annoyed, shaking your head. “You've set a new record, dad, it didn't take you even 5 minutes to mess with Donna, fabulous.”
“Donna…” he whispered, with a fake smile. “Of course, I should have guessed that my youngest daughter would get involved with the freakiest freak in the village.”
“Marcus… Don't say things like that, what if she can hear you?” your mother said, looking around.
At that comment you couldn't help but laugh ironically, swallowing the words that wanted to come out of your mouth, reflecting before starting another argument with your parents, another argument about your girlfriend.
“Can't you understand that I love her?” you said annoyed. “Besides, Donna is a Lord, I couldn't be more protected with anyone.”
“We, (Y/N), we are the ones who need to be protected from them,” your father said, always finding a scathing answer for everything you said. “Protectors of the village… well, they're just a bunch of heartless monsters. Sorry for worrying that one of them seduced my daughter.”
“Seduced?” you asked, leaning forward, starting to get nervous. “There are at least two things wrong with what you said. First, Donna isn't a monster, and second… to be fair, I seduced her.”
“Gods…” your mother sighed, probably imagining horrible things in her head. “Couldn't you notice someone normal, like your sister did?”
“You know that my tastes are special,” you said haughtily, looking at your nails. “Hey, I understand that you have doubts, but I assure you that Donna is a nice soul, she takes care of me, loves me and protects me.”
“She's crazy, (Y/N), everyone knows it, you knew it since you were little,” your mother said, putting a protective hand on your shoulder. “It's just a matter of time before she hurts you.”
“Ugh, how many times do I have to say it? Donna isn't crazy, she's sick,” you said, defending your girlfriend, as always. “If I had lived in isolation, enduring the mockery of children, my sister would have died and my parents would have thrown themselves into the void in front of me, I wouldn't be right in the head either.”
“I see she has taught you well to defend her,” your father whispered, darkening his gaze. “What else has she taught you, (Y/N)?”
“Do you really want to know?” you challenged with a sharp tone, internally trying to calm your words.
“(Y/N),” your mother protested at your rudeness. “It doesn't matter what you say, we are older, we have known Lady Beneviento since long before you were born and we know the horrible things she has done.”
“You know how to judge others, don't you? You seem good at it,” you said with a slightly childish tone. “Look, I'm 22 years old. I'm old enough to judge for myself.”
“You're a brat, (Y/N),” your father said, pointing at you with his finger. “Your mother also thought she was old enough at your age, and what a coincidence, Mihaela was born shortly after.”
“Well, don't worry, I'm not pregnant,” you said mockingly, looking away from your parents. “Hey... I know Donna seems terrible and that she's... a little scary, but I assure you that she's a kind, loving and sensitive woman. She has nothing to do with what those stupid rumors say.”
“A rumor can be false, (Y/N), but hundreds of them are closer to the truth,” your mother commented, with that tone of false wisdom that got on your nerves. “You're in love, you probably have her idealized, and when you realize your mistake we won't be able to save you.”
“Save me? That was a good one,” you said, shaking your head, moving your legs nervously. “I don't need anyone to save me, mom. Donna isn't like they say, but I care less and less that you don't believe me.”
“You should care, young lady,” your father said with the same smug tone. “Don't you understand that we're doing this for your own sake?”
“And you don't understand that Donna is good for me?” you counterattacked, with a harsher tone. “If you're going to be messing with Donna every time I come to see you, maybe I have to stop coming.”
“Lady Beneviento is a sinister and dangerous woman, I can't sleep peacefully knowing that you live with someone like that,” your mother said, making your anger increase.
“If you knew her you wouldn't say those things,” you murmured with an indignant pose, thinking coldly about your words.
“No, thank you, I'm proud that none of those abominations have ever entered my house,” the man said with a sarcastic smile. “That woman is not welcome here, (Y/N).”
“Wait, Marcus...” your mother whispered, thoughtfully. “What if the girl is right? Maybe we should give her the benefit of the doubt.”
“Svetlana, don't be condescending, a brat like her doesn't have the right to the benefit of the doubt,” your father growled. “Keep that freak away from this house, (Y/N), and away from you.”
“Insult her again, come on,” you said, standing up threateningly. “If you don't accept Donna it means you don't accept me, so I don't want to waste my time in this house anymore,” you said angrily, walking to grab your coat and walk out the door.
“(Y/N)…” your mother sighed, chasing you, while your father didn't move, staying on the couch with a mocking laugh. “(Y/N), wait…”
“No, mom, you're always judging me, I've been living with Donna for a year and I've never given you any reason to worry about, but you don't understand, you still don't understand,” you said, opening the door. “My sister married an idiot and you've never said anything to her, is it because Donna's a woman?”
“No, honey, it's because of who that woman is,” your mother said, closing the door a little behind you.
“It doesn't matter how many times I tell you that the rumors are wrong, right? Why bother to keep insisting? I'm leaving, we'll see each other later,” you said, turning around abruptly, ready to go back home.
“Wait, (Y/N),” your mother interrupted with a hand on your arm. “Wait, my girl. Listen, next week your nephews are coming to eat at home, and I would like you to come too.
“I, of course,” you hissed, blinking impatiently. “I'll think about it.”
“Maybe you could... I don't know, maybe it would be a good time for us to meet... Lady Beneviento,” your mother hinted, making you raise your eyebrows.
“Mm, do you want to meet Donna? It's funny, you just said that she's a dangerous crazy woman,” you said suspiciously.
“I honestly don't have any desire to meet... that woman, but maybe I could feel relieved if I saw for myself that she's not a danger to you,” the woman explained, making you think.
“Donna doesn't leave the house, I doubt it's possible,” you muttered to yourself, scratching the back of your neck. “Can't you just trust my word?”
“We trust your sister's word and now we have two grandchildren,” your mother joked, which caused you to give a slight smile to her. “Sometimes you have to see it to believe it, (Y/N).”
“I don't promise you anything,” you whispered, really thinking about that possibility. “Besides, dad doesn't want her to enter his house.”
“Oh, let me convince your father, you know that he softens a lot when he's with the kids,” she said amused, putting your clothes back on in a motherly way.
“I assure you that it is much easier to convince that stubborn old man than Donna, but well, I will try,” you said, walking back home.
Visits to your parents always had a bitter taste, an almost unbearable tension that you had to go through. For you, your family was important, really important, and your new circumstances didn’t prevent you from continuing to maintain contact.
You were a simple villager, born into a humble family, with no outstanding features beyond a certain ease with words. Your destiny was never written, it was always a messy scribble written with erasable ink. One day, the day when, by chance, you met Donna Beneviento, Lord of the village, the words were finally written permanently, indelible.
Donna was a strange woman, yes, sick and tormented by her past. She had been alone for years, fulfilling her duties to the village, protecting it, keeping it under the protection of the Black Gods. You were no stranger to the rumors, to the terrible things she did in the past. You never gave importance to those acts of self-defense or desperate moves.
She was… cultured, sensitive, tremendously intelligent and she was longing to have someone who really understood her, someone who would brutally end her loneliness, forever. Of course you didn't think that it was you.
Her beauty hidden by a horrible veil, the sale of her soul to the Gods, her worries, her complexes, her insecurities, soon became discoveries for you, things that made the lady in black more and more interesting.
Falling in love with her was not difficult, her falling in love with you was just a matter of days. Contrary to what anyone might think, your life wasn’t a torment of hallucinations and nightmares, but quite the opposite, it was a valley full of light and affection, of kisses, hugs, words of love, strong and unbreakable feelings.
Of course you remember the day when you had no choice but to tell your parents who was occupying your thoughts, with whom you would spend the rest of your life. To say that they were surprised would be to understate it. You argued with them, your mother cried, your father cried for revenge…
During that whole year you did nothing but show off the Italian's goodness to them, beg them to stop worrying and pay attention to partially false rumors. They never believed you, every time you went to visit them it was the same story. Worry, fear, childish strategies to get you to return to them…
No one, not even your family could get you to stop loving Donna, no one, never, but sometimes, just sometimes, you wished the situation would change, that your parents would accept your decisions and stop thinking you were just an immature brat.
You had found the love of your life and, having clear where you wanted to be, your next goal became to achieve that pleasant coexistence between the two most important things in your life, Donna and your family.
“Tesoro, are you okay? You haven't tried the lasagna, don't you like it?” the lady in black asked, while you were having dinner in silence, as always.
You shook your head as you played with your food, submerged in a sea of thoughts and helplessness that threatened to disturb your happiness.
“I love your lasagna, really,” you said sighing, starting to eat your dinner so as not to worry your girlfriend absurdly.
“Is something wrong, (Y/N)? Are you feeling sick again?” the lady asked again, with that worried glint in her eye that you adored.
Seriously, how could your parents doubt her? The hard thing was getting her to let you breathe.
“Mm? No, no, I'm fine,” you said with a confident tone, nodding confidently.
“You shouldn't leave the house yet, you could suffer a relapse,” Donna said, with a dark look.
“Nonsense, I'm fine,” you said amused, suppressing a cough that revealed that perhaps you hadn't fully recovered. “I need some wine.”
Donna smiled tenderly, serving you a glass in an elegant manner.
“Prego…” she whispered, leaving the bottle on the table and studying you with her gaze. “Is anything worrying you?”
“No, nothing,” you lied, with a sigh that revealed your true thoughts.
As expected, the lady in black wasn’t the most versed in interpreting gestures or typical human behavior. Poor thing, she spent too much time alone.
“Donna,” you said, drawing her attention with a frown at her involuntary indifference. “Hey, look at me. It's obvious that something is worrying me.”
“Oh, um... is something wrong?” she asked confused, stopping eating. “You told me you were fine.”
“Please, it was obviously a lie,” you joked, shaking your head. “Come on, try again, darling.”
“I... Is something wrong?” she asked nervously, confused by your much more casual attitude, by your heart's attempt to give back to the brunette all the years that cruel fate had taken from her.
“Yes,” you sighed, finishing your dinner and taking a sip of wine. “I argued with my parents again,” you finally said, with a sad tone.
“I'm so sorry,” Donna said, reaching out her hand to caress yours tenderly. “It was my fault, right?”
“No, well…” you said, unsure if it was the right answer. “It's not your fault, darling, it's just that they are… stubborn,” you said with a slightly more relaxed tone. “They are incapable of accepting what we have.”
“It’s my fault then,” she murmured, wiping her face with a napkin and lowering her gaze. “They must think I'm a monster.”
“No,” you lied again, playing with her hand, caressing it gently so she wouldn't get too nervous.
A crisis was the last thing you needed that day.
“It's not your fault, Donna, it's them who... Ugh, they think I don't have enough judgment to decide who I want to spend the rest of my life with,” you commented, rolling your eyes. “What nonsense, my sister's husband is a jerk and they never told her anything.”
“He wasn't a Lord,” the lady whispered, shaking her head. “They just want to protect you... from me.”
“No, no, no, Donna, don't start with your super-powerful-Lord complex” you said moving your other hand and studying her nervous gestures, the trembling of her hand in yours. “I love you just the way you are, my love, I don't care if you're a Lord or...”
“Or a nutcase,” she finished, lowering her gaze again.
“Well, they can say whatever they want,” you finally sighed, finishing your glass of wine. “I don't care what they think of you, I know it's not like that. Damn it, they judge me when both my mother and my sister got pregnant by two stupid oafs, do they really think I would do the same?”
The lady choked on her drink at your joking tone, taking everything you said seriously again.
“(Y/N)..., n-no, I don't think…” she said somewhat nervously, with a fake laugh.
“I'm just saying it's unfair,” you said, rolling your eyes again at her innocence.
“Yes, but don't worry, tesoro, I don't care what they think of me,” she said, downplaying it.
“I do care, Donna. They're just stupid rumors,” you protested, crossing your arms.
“Not everything is rumors,” the lady whispered, looking away, embarrassed. “You know that, (Y/N)”
“W-Well, what does it matter? We've all made mistakes in the past, or killed someone, or… well, not that but…”
Donna shook her head, with a mix of pain and amusement at your stupid way of excusing the Lord for… well, being a Lord.
“(Y/N), vieni,” she said, gesturing for you to get up, a gesture you obeyed, letting her sit you on her lap with an elegant movement. “Amore mio… don't give it any importance, everything is fine.”
You sighed, letting her lips rest on yours slowly, in one of those kisses that melted you completely.
“Yes, Donna, but… it's frustrating, they say those horrible things because they don't know you,” you murmured, playing playfully with her black hair, pouting. “That no one is able to see the wonderful woman you are makes me angry.”
“The only thing I care about is that you think that way, even if you're wrong,” your girlfriend whispered, kissing you again, giving you that tenderness you needed at that moment. “Mm, let's go pick this up, okay? It's been a long day.”
The time finally came for the sheets to warm your body a little. You were exhausted, still recovering from the flu you had a week ago, and with everything that had happened, you just wanted to rest.
Donna was reading beside you as always, stroking your head distractedly while you daydreamed suddenly remembering something important, something you had to try.
“Donna,” you said, getting her attention, making her put the book down and nod for you to talk. “Next week I have to go to have lunch with my parents, my nephews are coming and…”
“Mm, well, I guess I can't do anything to stop you from leaving me alone,” she whispered in a sad tone.
Yes, it had been hard for you to fight her madness, her jealousy, her reluctance to stay alone in that mansion again.
“Yes, well…” you said, scratching the back of your neck, keeping her gaze, something difficult to do due to the spark of jealousy in her eye. “I-I want to ask you a favor.”
“If it's in my hands, I'll do it,” she said in a stoic, confident tone.
“Yes, um…” you stammered, regretting the proposal you were going to make her. “My nephews, Niko and Olga, you know that their family doesn't have much money and…”
“How much do they need?” Donna offered immediately, without thinking.
“No, no, it's not that,” you stammered, juggling in your mind to avoid that awkward moment. “What I mean is that their parents can't buy them many toys and they have to share them.”
“What's the point, tesoro?” the lady asked, impatient with your stammering.
“Well, you make dolls so… I thought that if you don't have much work, you could make them some toys, you know…” you asked uncertainly.
She nodded without hesitation, looking for a notebook on her table, where she used to write down orders.
“Sure, of course,” she said with a smile, opening the notebook. “It's my job. Tell me, what do your nephews like?”
“Niko is a fan of racing cars and Olga… Well, it's not hard to please her, one of those cheesy dolls you make will do, Oh, I mean… one of your fantastic dolls,” you said amused.
“Mm,” Donna murmured, writing things down in the notebook and laughing at your innocent mistake. “Una macchina… va bene. I'll need to ask the Duke for some materials, but it's no problem.”
“See? You're wonderful, my love,” you said, stealing a deep kiss from her while she laughed at your attack of affection.
“I would do anything to see you happy, you know that,” the lady whispered, kissing you again, brushing your hair out of your face.
“I know,” you whispered confused, thinking about what you really wanted to tell her. “Good night, Donna,” you said romantically, kissing her for the last time and turning off the light.
You weren't able to sleep, because your mother's offer was still in your head. Maybe, just maybe, it would be a good idea to try to get Donna to meet your family, although you knew it was a bit complicated.
“Um, Donna…” you said after a few minutes, turning the light back on and making the lady grunt.
“Cosa…?”
“I have to ask you another favor,” you said sitting on the bed, playing with your hands. “I would like you to come with me.”
“Dove?” she asked, rubbing her eye, with a hoarse voice.
“To my house, to my parents' house,” you said cautiously.
“No,” Donna said dryly, with a suddenly cold expression.
“I was expecting that answer…” you whispered to yourself. “Come on, darling, it could be a perfect occasion to prove they’re wrong, for them to get to know you.”
“I don't want them to know me, I don't need them to know me, (Y/N), no,” she repeated again, crossing her arms with childish arrogance.
“But I do,” you sighed, bringing your hands together. “Donna, please, it would be very important for me.”
“I'm sorry, no,” the brunette insisted, making you growl.
“I thought my parents were stubborn…” you murmured, squeezing your eyes with your fingers. “It's not a trap, I promise, I just want my parents to see how you really are, that you love and care for me.”
“I know I love you, you know I love you. That's enough,” she said, looking away with a sharp gesture.
“Ugh, Donna,” you said, crossing your arms with another groan. “Come on, my nephews are going, I'm sure they'll...”
“Nephews?” a shrill voice burst into the bedroom.
The Angie doll appeared, comically walking and climbing the bed while you both followed her with your eyes.
“Hey, were you spying?” you asked as the doll climbed towards her owner. “You shouldn't listen to other people's conversations.”
“I wasn't spying, silly, silly, you just talk too loud,” Angie said, with her hands on her hips.
“Oh,” you said blinking with a cocky smile. “Since when do you dedicate yourself to listening behind the door? Do you always do it?”
“Unfortunately,” the puppet murmured, letting herself fall between you two. “Let's see, let's see, have I heard anything about some nephews?”
“My nephews, next week I'll eat with my parents and them,” you explained, having no reason to lie to the rebellious and shameless counterpart of the doll maker.
“Oh, oh, are they children?” Angie asked, getting too close to you.
“Yes, they are 7 and 8 years old,” you said amused.
“Oh, interesting...”
You definitely couldn't waste that unique opportunity.
“Do you like children, Angie?” you asked curiously, while the lady stared at her, also annoyed with her unwanted intrusion.
“Of course I like children. They are the only ones who want to play with me, not like you, boring, clingy fools,” the doll said, pointing at you mockingly.
“You would like to play with them, wouldn't you?” you asked in a sweet tone, making the brunette turn her head towards you abruptly, knowing, surely, what you intended.
“Yes, yes, yes,” the doll said, excited.
“It's a shame,” you sighed, pretending sadness. “I've told Donna to come with me, but she doesn't want to.”
“Why? Silly Donna…” Angie said, growling comically at her owner, now harassing her.
-Angie, don't get involved in our affairs –the lady hissed, pushing her away from her body. –I said no, and that's no.
“You say you'd do anything to make me happy…” you said in a low tone, a little sadder, bordering on disappointment. “This would make me very happy.”
“(Y/N), I wouldn't…” Donna said, shaking her head.
“Silly Donna, listen to the other silly, it would make her very happy…” Angie sang, tilting her head in an impossible way.
“I said no! Cazzo!” the lady shrieked, making the doll flee to your lap, scared by the irrational anger of her owner.
“Leave it be Angie,” you said, sad, disappointed. “It's not worth it.”
“You stupid, stubborn spaghetti,” the doll accused, pulling even harder on her patience. “You're going to make the fool cry.”
“All you want is to scare those children,” Donna said, with a stern but somewhat calmer tone.
“No, I want to play, (Y/N) wants you to go with her and you want to make her happy, what's the problem? Are you afraid that people will stop thinking that you are a monster without feelings?” the puppet mocked without fearing the wrath of its owner.
Donna didn't say anything, she just sighed, running a hand through her hair and glancing at you out of the corner of her eye, watching how you curled up in bed, turning your back on her, suppressing a sob.
Your family was important to you, Donna was important to you. You couldn't, you simply couldn't choose between the two things, you couldn't stand it anymore.
“(Y/N), I'm sorry I yelled,” the brunette apologized, putting a hand on your shoulder to turn you around.
“Donna, you know how important my family is to me,” you sighed, wiping a tear that ran down your cheek. “I can't stand the idea of them thinking you're a danger, of them thinking you don't love me, because it's not true. But don't worry, just keep on with your dolls and your stupid isolation, I'll figure out how to continue without your help.”
“Cavolo…” the doll maker growled, crossing her arms and looking at the Angie doll, who looked at her expectantly.
“You made her cry, Donna, you fool,” Angie hissed. “Fix it.”
“I…” the lady murmured, thinking carefully about her words. “Okay, I'll do it. I'll do it for you, (Y/N). I would die without thinking that I wouldn't be able to do anything for you.”
Finally the lady accepted the offer, and you couldn't be happier, but as the date of the meeting approached, nerves mercilessly invaded your entire body. You knew that Donna was nice; you knew that she had sacrificed her comfort zone for you, but you weren't sure if your parents would change their minds. You hoped so.
As expected, your parents' faces paled when they saw the woman with the veil. Your father remained cold, your mother trembled, but you tried to ignore those dangerous signs.
“Well, I guess you already know Donna,” you said nervously, watching the children hide because of that imposing presence. “Look, honey, this is my mother, Svetlana,” you said, guiding the brunette towards the frightened woman, who bowed her head in respect.
“It's an honor, Lady Beneviento,” she said in a helpful tone, without looking at the lady, who nodded slowly, without showing any emotion.
“Um, and this... this is Marcus, my father,” you said a little more nervously, pointing at your father, who looked at Donna with distrust, giving her a reluctant greeting.
“Grandma, what is that?” Niko, your nephew asked tugging at your mother's dress and pointing shamelessly at Angie, who pointed at herself.
“That? That?” the doll asked, breaking free from her owner's grip. “I'm not that, my little friend, I'm the fabulous, the unique, the fantastic Angie.”
Both children backed away as the doll approached.
“Hey, leave them alone,” your father said, protecting your nephews, making clumsy gestures towards Angie.
“No, no, it's not okay, she won't hurt them,” you said, grabbing your father's arm, who growled as he watched the doll chase your nephews.
“Oh, you little cowards…” Angie crooned. “Very well, then I won't show you my magic tricks.”
“Magic?” your niece asked, peeking timidly.
“Yes, magic,” the doll said, nodding proudly. “Tell me, have you ever seen a doll that does this?” she shouted amused, twisting her head comically, instantly gaining the attention of the children.
“Wow…” they sighed at the same time, dazzled by Angie's charisma.
“What else can you do?” Niko asked, shyly approaching the doll.
“Mm, I'm the world champion of hide and seek, you scumbags,” the doll commented, before your attentive gaze.
“That's a lie, I'm better,” Olga said, protesting amused.
“Dear…we'll have to prove it…”
Surprisingly, the children didn't take long to gain confidence with Angie, and with Donna, as she timidly handed them the gifts she had made. Of course, that woman in black, veiled and silent, scared them, but they soon lost fear when they saw their new toys, jumping for joy and thanking your girlfriend effusively.
Your parents barely spoke. They limited themselves to watching your nephews when they dared to approach Donna to give her a tender hug for their gifts. The children were wonderful, they were immune to rumors. They soon felt totally comfortable with the presence of that mysterious woman.
“What is this?” your father asked, sitting at the table while the children had fun with the doll and their new toys.
“It's lasagna, dad, Donna made it,” you said, serving him a portion of the dish that the lady had prepared.
“Lasagna,” your mother murmured, observing the plate with curiosity.
You nodded, glancing at the lady in black, who, to no one's surprise, didn't say a single word, just nodded slightly, remaining silent, which increased the tension of the meal even more.
“Mm, how do I know it's not poisoned?” your father asked, dipping his cutlery into the plate, distrustful.
“Dad,” you protested at his rudeness. “You just... eat and shut up.”
“Marcus, please...” your mother said, trying to save the situation.
It was a silent, tense, heavy lunch. The glances flew like constant knives between you.
“It's delicious, Lady Beneviento,” your mother said with a fake smile, making the lady look at her and nod reluctantly. “It looks like complicated to make.”
“Oh, not at all,” you said with a smile. “Donna is an excellent cook,” you commented. “Isn't that right, darling?”
The lady didn't move, she continued eating in silence, moving her veil a bit aside.
“Does she never take that thing off?” your father asked in an unpleasant tone, finishing his meal, which he seemed to have liked. “Hey, I'm talking to you.”
“Marcus, please,” your mother said, terribly scared by the way her husband addressed the Lord. “Show some respect.”
“Respect? Svetlana, that woman has taken our daughter,” your father growled, hitting the table with his fist, drawing the attention of everyone present. “You may be very powerful, Beneviento, but you're in my territory now.”
“Dad,” you said, scared by his attitude as the lady in black slowly raised her gaze, dropping her cutlery. “Don't talk to her like that.”
“Don't talk to her like that?” the man said, pointing at the lady with a fork. “What's wrong with you? Can't you talk?”
“Leave her alone,” you insisted, terribly nervous. “She doesn't talk to strangers.”
“Oh, um... the tomato sauce is homemade, right?” your mother asked, trying by all means to divert the conversation.
Donna looked at her and nodded slowly, but unable to suppress the trembling of her hands.
“You like my daughter, you like her body, how beautiful she is...” your father murmured, crossing his arms, with a look of absolute contempt. “You the Lords think you can do whatever you want why anyone, don't you? Even with an innocent girl.”
“Dad!” you shouted on the verge of a heart attack, and tears.
“Enough, Marcus,” your mother demanded, also hitting the table. “Lady Beneviento, I beg your forgiveness for my husband's attitude, it's just that…”
“Excuse me? She should be asking me for forgiveness. He sleeps with our daughter, Svetlana,” your father said, dragging his words. “What do you think will happen when she gets tired of her?”
“Can't you stop acting like an orangutan?” you said nervously. “She hasn't done anything for you to treat her like that.”
“She hasn't done anything,” your father said, with a mocking smile. “Come on, Beneviento, defend yourself, tell me I'm lying, say something, damn it, do you even know how to talk? Or do you only know how to screw up the life of a girl like (Y/N)?”
Donna reacted, abruptly getting up from the table, looking at your father, without saying anything, but clenching her fists, repressing her rage.
“No, no, no, Donna, honey, calm down,” you said nervously, grabbing the brunette by the shoulders. “Shh, calm down…”
“Stop it!” your mother shouted, standing up too. “Marcus, apologize! You're being unfair to her. We don't know what can happen to us if…”
“Mom!” you shrieked, not accepting the cautious attitude of the woman, who seemed to fear her, she was terribly afraid of Donna. “I'm starting to realize that it was a mistake to come here,” you hissed, throwing the napkin on the table and shaking your head.
“That woman is the mistake,” your father growled, making Donna turn around again, with a furious gasp.
“Let's go, Donna,” you said, taking the brunette by the arm and walking towards the exit.
“Hey! Are we leaving?” Angie protested, still playing with the children. “I want to stay a little longer.”
“Vai, Angie!” Donna squealed making the children back off with the first words the lady said.
The doll said goodbye to the children happily and walked next to you.
“Wait, (Y/N), you should stay,” Donna said, already outside the house.
“No, I'm not going to stay after what they did to you,” you said frowning. “Donna, I'm so sorry…”
“I'm used to this, tesoro… don't worry about me, stay with your family, I need to go home, I have to… relax…” the lady said, lifting your chin, giving you a quick kiss through her veil, walking away without letting you protest any further.
“Donna…” you said with a sob, letting your shoulders fall as your girlfriend walked away from you with a quick step. “Shit, shit…”
You stormed back into your house, slamming the door shut, scaring the kids even more.
“Are you happy?” you asked nervously, on the verge of tears. “Look what you’ve achieved!”
“That crazy bitch has left my house, I’m satisfied,” your father said in a cocky tone. “It’s over, (Y/N), she’s never coming back to that house again, do you hear me?”
“You haven’t even given her a chance!” you shouted, ignoring those banal threats. “You’re… Ugh!”
“Please, calm down, both of you,” your mother said, standing between the two of you before the shouting could escalate. “Marcus, you should be ashamed.”
“I don’t regret anything, Svetlana, I won’t tolerate that disgusting monster continuing to grope my daughter,” your father said, approaching threateningly.
“You’re a disgusting monster,” you muttered in childish rage.
“For Gods’ sake, that's enough,” your mother pleaded. “Please, let's talk things over, Marcus.”
“Leave me alone,” your father said, walking out the door, angry and furious.
You, silent, stunned just like your nephews, let yourself be seated on a chair, putting a hand on your forehead.
“Damn it...” you whispered, being comforted by the two children, who sat next to you and rubbed your back.
“I like her, I like your girlfriend, Aunt (Y/N),” Olga said, touching her new doll. “Grandpa has been mean to her.”
“Yes, Angie is great too, she hasn't tired of playing with us,” her brother said, excited about his racing car. “Do you think we can play with her again?”
“I don't know, Niko,” you sighed, letting yourself be carried away by the innocence of children, crying subtly.
“Children, go to your room,” your mother said with a serious gesture, pointing to a door.
The children nodded and obeyed with a sad look.
“I can't believe it, mom,” you whispered after a few seconds of silence. “Was it so hard for you to behave like normal people for once?”
“Honey...” your mother sighed, coming a little closer. “You have to understand that for us it is a very complicated situation.”
“Complicated? Dad has been insulting Donna all the time for no reason,” you said angrily, arching your eyebrows. “And you did nothing but grovel before her because she terrifies you. If your plan is to ruin our relationship, you are on the right track.”
“(Y/N)…” your mother sighed. “We care about you.”
“Cut the crap, mom, you haven't even given her the chance to prove that she is nice, that she takes care of me and…” you said, suddenly feeling terrible dizziness and intense chills.
“Are you okay?” your mother asked, scared by your immediate paleness. “Honey, what's wrong?”
“I-I don't know… I…” you said with a sudden tiredness, a terrible one along with a stabbing pain in your joints. “I…”
You couldn't say anything else, because everything went black.
“Stop talking nonsense, Marcus,” you heard your mother say when you were able to open your eyes.
Your whole body was weak, burning, you could barely move. You were tucked into your old bed and your father, nervous, paced from one side of the house to the other.
“I'm telling you that it's all that monster's fault, she must have poisoned her,” the man said, nervous, furious.
The darkness that could be seen through the window told you that it was already night, you don't know how long you had been unconscious.
“Mom…” you whispered with a weak voice, putting an end to those horrible insinuations. “What…? What happened to me?”
“Oh, (Y/N), you're awake,” she said, taking your burning hand. “Gosh, you have a high fever, you fainted.”
“Damn it…” you complained, realizing that Donna was right, you still hadn't recovered from the flu. “I-I have to…”
Before you could continue, the door sounded with a thunderous bang, causing your father to be on alert, grabbing a nearby shotgun.
“Marcus, what's wrong?” your mother asked, also scared.
“Stay here,” he said, approaching the door and taking a quick look. “You… Go away!”
“D-Donna…” you murmured when you saw the lady in black behind the door, making an impulse to move, which your mother stopped. “Donna…”
“Didn't you hear me? We don't want you here. Get out or... or...!” your father shrieked, closing the door in her face.
“Dad... no,” you complained, reaching out your hand towards the open door of your room. “Donna...”
With a kick that could be comical, the lady in black didn’t accept the answer, opening the door abruptly, making your father step back and point the shotgun at her.
“D-Don't move...” the man said, trembling as Donna approached, grabbing the barrel of the gun and bending it without difficulty. “No, don't hurt me,” he said cowardly afterwards.
The lady ignored him, looking for something with her eye, looking for you. When she found, she didn't waste a second in running to your side, almost throwing herself onto the bed.
“(Y/N), tesoro,” she gasped nervously as your mother cautiously moved away. “Amore mio, what's happening? You didn't come home and…”
“She has a high fever,” your mother said dryly while your girlfriend checked it, caressing your forehead. “She has fainted.”
“What?” Donna asked. “Oddio… you're burning up…” she whispered.
“Wow, you sure know how to talk,” your father said, crossing his arms behind the door frame. “What have you done to my daughter, you psychopath?”
“Dad…” you moaned desperately at Marcus's inflexible attitude.
“We don't know what to do, my lady, the doctor is not in the village and we don't have money for…” your mother said, clasping her hands, with a look, not of terror, but of pity, of fear that something would happen to you.
“Telefono” the lady hissed, glancing at your mother through that dark veil.
Your mother shook her head, unable to understand her words, nervous, and now, frightened.
“Telefono! Porca puttana! A telephone!” the Lord demanded, causing the woman to instinctively protect herself, nodding and pointing to the required device.
Donna stepped aside, hitting your mother on the shoulder as she walked, dialing a number, the only possible one, the Duke’s.
Soon the merchant arrived with the medicines, but they would take a while to take effect. Your longed-for return home would have to wait a bit, but luckily, Donna and your mother took care of you in the meantime.
Tiredness made you fall asleep, with your hand held by the lady in black, who didn’t move from your side while she caressed you. At one point you woke up, but you decided not to open your eyes, you were very tired, weak.
“Excuse me, my lady,” your mother's voice interrupted that quiet moment, along with her footsteps on the old wood. “It's a very cold night, you could use some tea.”
“Grazie,” Donna whispered, nodding gratefully, or so you saw with your half-open eyes.
“(Y/N) sister's room is free, the children are gone... if you want you can rest,” the woman said, lowering her head and passing a hand over your forehead.
“No,” the lady said, coldly, turning her head back to you.
Your mother nodded, sitting down in another chair and letting a tense atmosphere of silence cover you completely. Your eyes danced with the temptation to close completely again, but you were alert, you had to be.
“(Y/N) is right, you are a woman of few words,” your mother said after a few minutes that seemed eternal.
Donna turned slowly to look at her, but only briefly.
“I-I don't mean it's a bad thing, it's wise to be cautious with words,” she said again in the absence of a verbal response from the hierarch, who sighed annoyed by the situation. “I-I've prepared some hot soup for when (Y/N) recovers, perhaps you would like some.”
“No,” Donna repeated, with a dark hiss, almost begging for your mother to leave you alone.
Your mother lowered her head, nodding slowly, obeying in a submissive way.
“My lady, I beg your pardon for our behavior. My husband and I are very sorry,” Svetlana said, forcing you to stop pretending and intervene.
“Come on,” you said, groaning and opening your eyes, hurt, but completely conscious.
“(Y/N)…” Donna sighed, caressing your cheek. “Don't get up, per favore,” she whispered to you in a tender voice, laying you back down on the bed.
“Mom, who are you trying to fool? Dad has pointed a damn shotgun at my girlfriend,” you protested, fighting against the lady's attempts to cover you well with the sheets.
“Shh, taci, amore mio,” Donna said in a sweet voice, not caring that a villager like your mother heard her. “It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters to me is that you recover so we can go home.”
“Home…” you gasped, giving in and letting her take care of you in bed. “For a moment I thought I had dreamed it all, that you weren't here.”
“Of course I'm here, tesoro,” your girlfriend said, getting a little closer while you reached out your hand clumsily, brushing the veil.
“I hate seeing you with that on,” you commented amused, making a shy laugh come out of her black veil as well.
“Shh, don't talk, (Y/N),” Donna whispered, caressing your cheek and checking that your clumsy caresses hadn't uncovered her face. “You've already taken the medicine, now you have to rest so that the fever goes down completely.”
“Mm…” you murmured, glancing sideways at your mother. “Mom…”
“Hi honey… I'm here,” the woman said, bringing her hand closer to yours. “Thank Gods you feel better…”
“Your mother has prepared a soup for you, I think you should have some,” Donna said, with an irresistible voice that would melt any metal.
“My lady, would you be so kind as to take care of…?” your mother asked with a trembling voice, bringing the plate closer to the lady in black, who took it without hesitation, nodding. “I better… leave you two alone…” she said after, making a ridiculous bow and leaving the room.
“Are you comfortable?” Donna asked, helping you to sit up and bringing you a spoonful. “It smells very good.”
“My mother cooks well, although not as well as you,” you joked a little, letting the soup soothe your throat. “I'm convinced that she's dying to ask you for the lasagna recipe.”
“Mm,” she murmured, helping you to eat. “She's dying for me to disappear from your life, (Y/N).”
“Donna…” you sighed with a sad voice. “You don't know how sorry I am.”
“I've already told you that it doesn't matter,” she answered, cleaning you lovingly with a napkin. “The prejudices in this village are strong, it's not their fault.”
“No, my love,” you corrected, with tears in your eyes. “I'm so sorry I asked you to come. I should have known it was a bad idea.”
“Don't apologize. I know how important your family is to you. It hurts me to say it, but Angie was right. Just because it was a mistake doesn't mean it wasn't the right thing to do, (Y/N)” she said, while continuing to take care of you.
“You always do the right thing, don't you?” she asked, letting you fall back onto the mattress, pleasantly warmed by that soup. “Donna, it makes me so helpless that people don't know what you're really like…”
“I'm not a good person, (Y/N), I've done horrible things, I've killed, I've spread terror with my siblings. I don't deserve for you to try to make others see me the same way you do,” Donna said, settling you down again.
“But it's just that…” you sighed, taking her hand, squeezing it with all the strength you had. “I see you, Donna, and I see you are not that horrible person you think you are. I see you as you really are, your way of loving… I see the person you want to be, what you are when you are with me and…”
“You left (Y/N) alone, with her!” your father's screams interrupted that romantic moment, bouncing off the walls.
“Marcus, please! You've caused enough trouble!” your mother shouted, making you both look at each other in silence, listening. “Do you know how much that medicine cost? We could never have afforded it.”
“Svetlana, I can't believe you're so impressed with a Lord’s money,” Marcus growled. “She wants the girl alive, she needs her alive…”
“Stop talking nonsense and behave like what you are!” your mother responded, catching your attention even more. “You're her father, Marcus. Her happiness is what should matter to you, not nonsense about monstrous Lords.”
“She's a monster!” he shrieked, making Donna move, squeezing your hand as she trembled from the pain of those words. “She's…!”
“Sometimes you are unbearable, Marcus, she is your daughter's girlfriend, and you better go in there and apologize to Lady Beneviento, and thank her for taking care of your daughter like we were never able to do,” your mother demanded, making you smile.
“But...”
“Do it! Or we will lose our daughter forever. Open your eyes, dear. You have seen that this woman is not as the rumors say. Fix things, Marcus, or your daughter won’t be the only thing you lose tonight,” your mother threatened, leaving behind her words an uncomfortable halo of silence.
Donna lowered her gaze, shaking her head softly at hearing those insults, those words that were only based on opinions, unfounded or not, about a completely different woman, about a Donna Beneviento who didn’t know what love was.
A few seconds later, the door opened and your father entered the room, head down, scratching the back of his neck. Donna, startled, stood up from her chair, ready to fight your father's ignorance again.
“Lady Beneviento,” your father whispered, glancing at you out of the corner of his eye, relieved to see you awake. “I have one question, just one, and I demand…I want you to answer me.”
The lady nodded slowly, keeping her composure.
“Do you love my daughter? Do you really love (Y/N)? Will you take care of her?” the man asked, to which you rolled your eyes.
“Hey, that's a lot of questions,” you interrupted.
“(Y/N)…” your mother sighed, gesturing for you to remain silent.
“I do,” Donna answered, dryly, but self-assured.
Your father sighed, glancing at your mother out of the corner of his eye and taking a breath, slowly extending his hand towards the brunette, with a look of distrust.
“(Y/N) loves you, and it seems that you have managed to convince my wife, but be clear about one thing, Beneviento, it will take me a while to trust you. But I may change my mind if you give me, right now, your word,” your father said, challenging Donna with his gaze, who was surely doing the same.
The brunette didn’t hesitate and extended her hand towards his, shaking it silently, slowly moving it away and maintaining that defiant look that you knew wasn’t threatening at all.
“Good,” he said, nodding satisfied. “I hope your status as a Lord will serve to keep my girl away from all the evils of this village. My home is your home, my lady.”
“Dad, you are great,” you said amused. “Hey, Donna, he did the best he could, really.”
The lady looked at you and nodded, sitting back down in her chair and taking your hand. You breathed easily for the first time.
You knew it was a temporary truce, but Donna would know how to handle it, how to convince your father, without needing any words, that she was the best thing that could happen to you, that she deserved you. Besides, your nephews seemed to take a liking to her, to her and to Angie, as your mother did.
Ahead of you, there was a promising future.
“Tomorrow morning we will return home, okay, my love?” you whispered, proud of Donna’s composure, of her integrity, of not being able to hurt anyone, your family, even if they thought she was a monster.
“Well, everything is settled,” your mother said, with the same relieved smile. “My lady, if you don't mind, I would like to ask you a few questions about that… lasagna…”

“Focus!” (j.jh)
015. contract? warnings: swearing, kind of short (srry in advance, studying gives me writers block)
Friday was dragging on, and for Y/n, every second felt like torture. She walked through the hallways of the building with Ten, venting her frustrations. ''Seriously, I run into him everywhere'' said Y/n, tossing him a knowing look.
''You’ve gotta stop giving it so much importance. How many times have I told you that? You still haven’t learned, have you?''
''Yeah, yeah, I know...'' Y/n groaned. ''But every time he walks past me, he huffs like I'm bothering him just by existing. And, I swear, it makes me wanna spin his head like in The Exorcist.'' She said it so deadpan that Ten burst out laughing.
''Sorry! It’s just... you said it with such a straight face, I couldn’t help it.''
''Alright, enough'' she muttered, rolling her eyes ''I just don’t get why he’s wandering around the building all the time. The only thing he needs to do is show up for the photos and leave. That’s literally it.''
They kept walking until they reached their office. Y/n stopped and turned to Ten. ''Oh, and remember, Ash is coming in...'' she checked her watch. ''In about two hours. We need everything set up by then so we can go over the plan, mkay?''
''Yes, ma’am.'' Ten straightened up with an exaggerated salute, making her snicker. She reached for the doorknob, but the door wouldn’t budge.
''Ugh, this fucking lock! I swear it’s out to get me'' she grumbled, twisting and pulling the handle to no avail ''No... not again.''
After a bit of struggling, the door finally clicked open.
''Okay, seriously, I need to get this shit fixed...'' she muttered with a half-smile. But before she could say anything else, a familiar voice cut through the moment.
''Yeah, you should fix it. Don’t you think?'' Y/n froze on the spot. Standing right in front of her was Jaehyun, calm as ever. He looked at her briefly, then added, almost casually: ''And, by the way... in case you didn’t know, Im kinda sealing a deal with your brother, that's why im roaming aroung as you say.''
Without waiting for a response, Jaehyun turned and walked off, leaving Y/n and Ten standing there, too stunned to speak. After a beat, Ten turned to her ''Girl... we’re so fucked.''
Ten opened the door and found Y/n looking at him with eager anticipation. She hurried inside.
''Come on, spill the tea!'' Y/n said, grabbing Ten by the shoulders and lowering her voice since there were staff members wandering around.
''I overheard Ash and Jaehyun talking'' he paused, and Y/n raised an eyebrow ''Ash was laughing about something Jaehyun said, and it was loud enough that I thought everyone in the building would hear'' Ten continued, waving to a passing staff member.
''And then what?'' Y/n asked, clearly interested.
''Then Jaehyun hugged her, like, by the shoulders and whispered something in her ear, but I couldn’t catch it'' Ten said, mimicking the scene, which made Y/n frown. ''And that was it.''
''Seriously, Ten, if you were sent to rob a house, you’d probably knock on the door first'' Y/n joked, smacking her forehead in mock frustration.
''What do you want me to do? I can’t just creep around and spy on them!'' Ten protested, but before Y/n could respond, someone called out.
''Hey! Y/n, how have you been? Long time, no see!'' It was Ash, who rushed over and pulled Y/n into a tight hug. Y/n felt a bit awkward at Ash's enthusiastic greeting because she was really calm and collected, y/n hugged her back, stealing a glance at Ten, who looked just as baffled. Ash pulled away and grabbed Y/n’s hands. ''I’m so excited to work with you again!'' she exclaimed, and without waiting for a reply, turned and dashed off, leaving Y/n with a mix of confusion and amusement.
''What the fuck'' mouthed Y/n looking at Ten who had the same confused expression.

On with the show...
Their plan to infiltrate the competition was just way too easy. No one had seen them sneak in. No one had suspected them.
Slider-punk had even been able to disguise himself as one of the employees and hacked into the main system! His associates were outside, Spider-Dee and Spider-Gal working as employees as while Spider-Shine had gone off on his own to open a pop-up therapy stand. Business was booming, apparently. Slider-Punk was no better, he'd abandoned the real mission for a little side mission of his own, to see just how much trouble he could get himself into. He'd allowed a disembodied hand to play some Broadway showtunes over the speaker system earlier.... but the hand had disappeared shortly after, leaving Slider-Punk alone again. It was odds-bodkins, but no stranger than anything else he'd seen in this place. Anyways, what should he do next? There was so much he could do! He could practically do whatever he wanted, now...
Before he could decide, an alert showed up on the computer. Someone was trying to hack in?
Well, no joke, Sherlock! HE had ALREADY--
A line of code showed up on the screen.
Up, up, down, down, left, right, 'A'.
The computer glitched. The screen turned purple. Then blue. Slider-Punk tried rebooting. A small icon of a purple-clad ninja turtle wagging his finger and saying "Nuh-uh-uh!" popped up. Donnie. Of course. A Donnie was trying to hack in. And it didn't seem like they cared if anybody knew... which meant they were making a statement, and didn't plan on sharing their hard-earned goods.
Slider-Punk's spider sense began to tingle. He felt anxious and uneasy. His senses drew his attention away from the computer, and up to... the air vents?
Uh oh.
He immediately dashed out of the room, abandoning his bowtie and went in search of his mates -- Spider-Dee, Spider-Shine, and Spider-Gal. They would have sensed the danger as well, they needed to get to safety, see if they could protect anyone -- something bad was about to happen.
Misa struggled against Ra-Ra's tight grip on her. He was careful not to hurt her, but she still hated it. She screamed and shrieked and howled in furious anger at him, demanding that he release her.
"I'm so sorry, Misa," he wept, cradling her as he approached his prison. "But it has to be this way."
"NO! No, Ra-Ra, let go! Let go o' Misa!! Pwease, Ra-Ra!!!"
Raphael sniffled as he hugged her. He hated doing this. But... he had no choice. She was too dangerous. She knew too much, and knew too many competitors. She might have been small, but the leeway she held with everyone made her possibly the most powerful turtle mutant in this entire competition. With as many connections as she had, she could raise up an entire army against them. Raphael sighed sadly... there was no other option.
As he approached the door, Raphael saw four turtles waiting for him. The Void brothers.
"Move," he growled at them.
"I don't see why we should listen to you!" Signal hissed, Static and Waves doing their best to keep him in his "safe" form, rather than his "absolutely enraged eldritch horror" form.
"Just let me back into the room, and no one will be hurt," Raphael promised.
"And do you plan on taking the kid with you?" Radio growled back at him.
Misa whined, reaching for Waves to come and take her away. Raphael pulled her arms back down.
"Yes."
"N̴̳̆Ó̵ͅ," Signal growled, his face contorting and blackening like tar. "IÌ̵̟ ̴̯̃D̶͚͝O̶̓͜N̶̞̕'̶̹͑T̷͉̋ ̸̫̏T̸̟̅H̶͓͊Í̵̟N̷͈̾K̵͈̄ ̴̲̇Ÿ̵́͜O̴̘̓U̸̠͌'̵̯͑L̶̟̈́L̸͚̈́ ̵̯̓B̷̭̽E̵͉͘ ̷̪̚G̴̼̈Ọ̶̑I̵̭͛Ṇ̵̎G̶̛̘ ̴͖͒Ạ̶͊Ǹ̸̹Ÿ̷͙W͎͝H̵̯̚E̷͇̍R̵͔͛Ȩ̴̓.̴͋"
Signal reached out, his arm elongating with a horrid schlurp sound as he went for Misa.
Raph created a hologram over himself, his usually red ninpo having turned that wretched shade of blue. Misa gasped in fear, the warmth she typically felt from such a magic was bone-chillingly cold.
"D̶̒ͅȌ̵͉ ̶̣̓Y̶̛̹O̸̪̍Ų̷̇ ̵͔̀Ĥ̶͙O̴̝͑N̴̢͘Ẹ̷͘Ș̵̕T̶̫̏L̵̻͋Ỵ̶̌ ̵̭̌Ţ̶̔H̷̨̐I̵̾ͅN̴̫͛K̴͕͠ ̵͔̎T̶̢̿H̵̭̽A̶͕̐Ṫ̵̬ ̶̢͝W̷͔̌I̷̞̒L̴̟̃L̴͓̉ ̸̯̓Ŝ̴̫T̵̩̎Ö̷͕́P̸̙̈ ̵̢̌M̸̨͌Ĕ̷͙?̴̩̊!̸̡͗" Signal screeched, laughing hysterically at the boy's attempts to fend him off.
Signal started ripping apart the holographic figure, only to discover that it had been a clone -- even the Misa in his hold was a duplicate, who shed a single tear as she dissolved.
The four heads turned back to see Raphael about to enter the room behind them. Waves screeched, flying at him with barred teeth and sharpened claws, his mystic powers creating an ebony black chain-whip within his hands.
Misa was off-limits.
Raphael opened the door. A flood of spores engulfed him, Misa, and Waves, who screamed in anger and fear as the spores filled him up, hollow as he was. He coughed and hacked and howled, holding his head in pain as he reeled backwards.
"WAVES!!" Static shouted, rushing forwards and grabbing his brother, holding him down.
Signal roared at Raph, eyes turning fully black and body disfiguring into a monster. Even Radio wouldn't dare hold him back after what that punk just did to Waves.
Raphael whimpered sadly as tears streaked down his cheeks.
"I'm so sorry," he wept. "I had to."
Raphael closed the door behind him, taking Misa into the dark room.
Misa pressed her hands over her mouth and nose, trying desperately to keep the spores out.
It was so cold... it was practically freezing.
Misa's eyes didn't need to adjust to the darkness, she found that as soon as the exterior light was gone, the room provided its own light... neon blue, emanating from the many eyes and mushrooms in the enclosed space. It was so absolutely terrifying, every gaze fixated on her and burning blue. Misa did her best to keep her whimpers to herself.
"Don't try to fight it," Raph begged her, as he gently laid her down in a bed of toadstools and moss. "Just... just let it happen, okay? I know it will be scary, but once you give in to the fear, it's just like sleepwalking. You won't even know it's happened, at first. I promised you would be safe, and you will be... you must simply let go, and let the fear take over."
Small vines and roots began to wrap over her, closing in like a tiny cage, keeping her from running away.
Her eyes watered as the air around her closed in. She couldn't keep holding her breath like this! Her hands shook, her chest hurt, the carbon dioxide in her lungs was getting hot and stale.
Misa gasped.
The fungus-riddled air infected her lungs, she coughed and hacked at how chilled the oxygen was in her ribs. She screamed in protest, curling up inside of herself, ready for the birds to come and scratch her shell, peck at her eyes, grab her with their claws and talons and carry her away...
Nothing happened.
Misa looked up, slowly.
She... she was in the labs?
There was a heavy weight chafing her neck, causing irritation on the sensitive skin. She lifted her hand up and felt cold metal.
The linoleum room she was being held in had a glass wall, through which she could see everyone.
EVERYONE.
Mikey, Ra-Ra, Dee-Dee, Lee-Lee, that one robotic-looking Dee that had congratulated her on stealing the moneys, the ballerina Donnie she'd gotten the Lake Water for, all the grow-ed Leos with missing arms, Poptart and Sprout, cowboy versions and bunnies and dragons and beetles and --
EVERYONE.
Claire and Draxum -- the orchestrators of this whole terrible captivity -- walked through the halls, talking to each other and even laughing together. Draxum's vines were dragging a Mikey behind him carelessly, the body scraping across the floor. He was still alive, she could see him struggling against his captors and she could hear him crying. Claire turned to look at Misa as she passed by her cell.
"Oh, hello little thing! Before I forget, I wanted to thank you for leading me to all these funny friends of yours! Now they can all suffer the same fate as you..."
"No! NO! NO NO NO NONONONO--"
Misa sobbed, began slamming her tiny fists against the glass, begging Claire to release all her friends and families. Claire only chortled like a Disney villain, walking away with Draxum and dragging the poor Mikey along with them. Misa would not stop, she'd never stop fighting against this!! SHE WOULD NOT GIVE IN TO THE FEAR! She continued to pound her fists against the glass, screaming angrily at the hallucination that kept her prisoner.
"...Are you sure she won't suffer?" AudRaph asked, his hands wringing.
"Not unless she fights against the fear," AudreyTello answered flatly as he began to type on his wrist tech, starting the hack to contaminate the entire arena.
"She is still young, I suspect she won't know how to fight against it," AudRai added, as she walked over to the little prisoner to inspect her as she sobbed uncontrollably in her cell. "It shouldn't be much longer now."
"It doesn't matter much either way," MichelAudrelo interjected angrily as he examined the new scars on his arms. "If she gives in, she becomes one of us. If not... we can feed off her fear." He looked over at the last Hamato in the room, still held in place against the wall, eyes drowsily watching the rest as they spoke.
"Like him."
"He is one of us," AudreyTello corrected. "But he was the first, so he had to make the sacrifice and give the necessary nutrients for our true form."
"I sense apprehension from Raphael's form," MichelAudrelo noted, scowling. "You do not approve of our survival?"
"...Raphael does not want his brother to die," AudRaph explained. "He would rather they all stay alive. It is his weakness..."
"Unfortunately, to be as strong as we are now -- and to produce as many spores as we have -- we need a physical form to feed off of. So Leonardo stays where he is," AudreyTello explained. "You know this. Choke down that pathetic worm and don't let him speak again. It's irritating."
"He has some immunity, or tolerance to invading hive minds. You recall from his memories, he has dealt with it before."
"Ah, yes. Well, even he cannot stop us soon enough," AudreyTello said with a chuckle. "Karai, Michelangelo, you know what to do now."
The two zombies nodded, and together created an enormous flow of spores. AudreyTello typed in a final command on his wrist tech, and the air vents promptly popped open. The spores filled the ventilation system.
"Now, for a little announcement..."
Ghost had unofficially adopted two more kids. Abby, a cat mutant, with her big and bright personality, though her figure was small. She'd gotten injured during the preliminaries -- apparently she'd attempted some kind of extravagant musical number -- and had to use a crutch to hobble around for the past several weeks while it healed up. She'd only just recently been released from the med ward, along with her friend and protector Diana, the second adoptee. The two girls were laughing and making quite the ruckus as they danced around Ghost's cape.
"Are you sure you wouldn't like me to carry you?" Ghost asked, fretting over her injury.
"I'm fine!" Abby laughed, waving her hand as a dismissal. "I've been used to this for a while. No worries!"
"Besides --" Diana added, "-- she needs the exercise if she wants to get rid of the crutch as soon as possible--"
Diana was cut short by a sudden burst of light and a loud roaring whoosh. A wind picked up, and a spark ignited behind them as a portal opened.
rhg!Donnie wanted to hold his father close. He hated, absolutely despised how the other competitors are holding his attention. He, more than anything, he wanted to run over to where his father was and hold him close, sob into his chest like when he was so much younger and so much more naive and so much more innocent. He wanted to talk for hours, ask how Raph is, how Leo is doing, if Mikey is okay. He wanted to say absolutely nothing and just sit in his company. He couldn't decide what to do first, and it utterly galled him how open he was with everyone, how chummy they all were with him. How dare Cassandra hug him like that. How dare Kendra pretend to be cordial. It might have been selfish, but he wanted his Papa all to himself. He tried to get as close to dear Papa as he could without making it obvious. The last thing he needed was everyone thinking he was childish. But Atomo Grey opened the doors to the elevators and made a stupid joke about how "the District Twelve tributes will get to their apartment before we can even set foot into ours!" which only got one laugh from the escort as he ushered the competitors into the lift. rhg!Donatello slowly entered the elevator as the doors closed behind him...
The lights flickered, the people in the lift start to vanish one by one, thunder and wind ripped through the box and caused a horrible feeling of claustrophobia in rhg!Dee. rhg!Donatello nervously backed up against the wall, confused and scared. Was this a trick from the Capitol? Or the Gamemakers?? He wanted to shout for his Papa, shout for anyone, but the elevator was empty now and the lights had all gone out. A multicoloured portal opened at his feet, and rhg!Donnie was sucked in, shouting his protest.
rhg!Donnie landed on the floor for the second time this night. But rather than being pancaked by Cassandra Jones, he slid on his stomach and arrived at the feet of three odd strangers. A giant turtle mutt, a cat mutt, and a regular human girl.
"...Well, that was out of the blue..."
rhg!Donnie slowly backed away from the characters, taking in the strange scene around him. He needed to get back, he has to get back, if they find out he'd been portalled away or something then they'll punish his family --
Wait, he knew this place...
He's... back at the AU competition? The one with all the strange turtles and different versions of his brothers...?
But... he was sent back home... why was he here now?
The large middle-aged turtle mutant kneeled down next to him, his joints popping as he did. He inspected the teen, analyzing every little scratch and every major scar with worry. His silent inquisitiveness was starting to annoy him.
"Who are you?" rhg!Dee asked, passing paranoid glances between the trio before him.
"I'm Abby," said the cat, smiling as she offered him her hand to help him up. "This is Diana, my bff, and the big guy is called 'Ghost'! But I'm pretty sure he's a Donatello, hence the purple mask..."
Abby gestured to the tall turtle mutt mutant. He smiled, his white eyes hiding years of trauma and loneliness. rhg!Donnie recognized that loneliness. He'd seen it in his father's eyes. He's seen it in his own reflection.
"Hey there, kid," the 'Ghost' said, his voice low yet overpowering. "Are you alright?"
"I... how did I get here?"
"No clue, but -- wait, I recognize you!" Diana said suddenly. "You were part of the preliminaries, right? The Rise Hunger Games AU!"
"Y-yes, that's me," rhg!Donnie mumbled, shooing away Abby's hands as he stood up by himself.
"We were in the prelims, too!" Diana noted, pointing to herself and then Abby.
"Great. Congratulations."
"We didn't win our round, though..."
"How unfortunate for you," rhg!Donnie sighed as he looked around, getting his bearings. Something about this place seemed off... different now. Something had changed. There was fear amongst these halls, now... an unspoken chill in the air.
"I didn't win, either -- wait... I was sent back because I lost the preliminary round... so, why...?"
"Why weren't we sent back?" Abby finished. "Or... why were you returned?"
rhg!Donnie looked around anxiously.
"I don't know if it's mandatory to leave the contest once you lose a round," Ghost interjected. "But perhaps the Mods sent you home so you could get back to the contest without -- oh, you've got something on your head..."
rhg!Donnie started smacking the top of his head frantically, worried that it might be something dangerous sent by the Gamemakers. Mutated hornets, or a tracking device that would explode if he strayed too far....
Instead, a small note floated off of his cranium and landed at his feet. Somewhat embarrassed by his reaction, rhg!Donnie leaned down and inspected the note with caution.
𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔! 𝚆𝚎 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚑𝚎𝚕𝚙…
"What does that mean?" Abby asked as she read over rgh!Dee's shoulder.
"I'm... I'm not sure... who wrote this, who needs my help...? And what could I possibly have to do with --"
"Wait, did you hear that?" Ghost interrupted, having caught the echo of a garbled glitching noise from the speakers.
The lights suddenly shut off, as hundreds of unprepared contestants and supporters started yelling in a panic.
A tinny voice echoed over the intercom speakers.
"Hello everyone in the competition! It’s your new overlord, Audrey III!"
"That's Donnie's voice," Abbey noted nervously.
"But which Donnie?" Diana asked. "I don't know any Donatellos who go by the name Audrey III..."
"Well, obviously it isn't me or the big guy," Donatello noted, gesturing to Ghost. "But I don't like this --"
"Shh, kids, listen...!"
Ghost could hear a slight hissing sound. He wasn't sure where in the area it was coming from. It sounded like a gas leak, air slowly spilling into the room. It had to be from the vents. Where was the closest vent?? He searched the halls, and found one not too far away. A small cloud of electric blue was pouring out.
Without hesitation, Ghost grabbed the kids and started running.
"EVERYONE, CLEAR THE HALLS! THERE'S A GAS LEAK!"
People began screaming as they all ran in different directions, trying to get away.
“Don’t resist," the Donatello on the intercom said. "Or do, your fear is tastier that way.”
"WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN, OUR FEAR IS TASTIER?!" Diana shrieked. "WHAT IS GOING ON??"
"Do you see a fire alarm anywhere?" Ghost yelled over the panicked mob around them.
"Over there!" rhg!Donnie shouted, pointing to a small glass box on the wall ahead of them, a fire extinguisher by its side.
Ghost rushed over, pulled the alarm, and grabbed the extinguisher.
"What exactly do you expect to do with a fire extinguisher?!" rhg!Donatello shouted, finally wrestling himself free from the old man's hold.
Ghost wasn't sure, there weren’t any fires -- yet. But years of experience taught him to always be prepared.
He most certainly was not prepared for what happened next.
The vent covers were blown right off their panels, slamming into the walls across, or in some cases, a few contestants. Abby screamed in fright as she ducked, Diana ducking over her as well to shield her, and Ghost shielding the three teens together. Blue fog filled the halls, slowly covering the floors. A few contestants starting coughing and choking. Then the sobs. The screams. The weeping and wailing.
rhg!Donatello didn't know what was going on, but he could guess. The smoke must be drugged, he thought to himself, staring at the oddly coloured gas that started to cover the floors. Was this... was this the Capitol’s doing? Had they discovered his previous absence and this was their attempt to punish him? To capture this new dimension or realm or world or whatever it was, and use it for their Hunger Games?? But how?! How could they have followed him? He was portalled here alone, twice now, and when he was returned there had been no time passed in his world and no change in his appearance, so they could never have known... This must be something else.
Ghost lifted the girls up onto his shoulders before they could inhale the hallucinogen and began to run again, grabbing rhg!Donatello by the hand and dragging him along, effectively snapping him out of his shock.
A father who had been shielding his little "SweetPea" from the vent panels was on his hands and knees, gasping for air as his eyes widened and slowly turned blue. His daughter August kept begging him to get up, crying for her Papa. She started coughing, shaking, blue panic filling her eyes as she began to succumb to the gas as well. A Feral Leo had inhaled the gas and was starting to attack his brothers. A pair of finely-dressed Gemini twins were clutching onto each other, shaking violently as they pressed themselves into a corner, watching as the gas closed in on them... rhg!Donatello was horrified by it all. It felt too much like something that the Capital or the Gamemakers would do...
Ghost could see the panic on the teen's face. It was pure terror, pure fear. He was worried that maybe he'd inhaled some of the smoke... But his eyes weren't blue... so he must just be regular scared, not infected by whatever was happening now. Ghost had to find some place that would be safe from the vapour... but where?! What room wouldn't have ventilation??
A television screen on a single rolling stand zipped past him, an electric Donatello voice shouting over the mayhem in the room. A dial tone was playing from its speakers, as if a call had gone to voicemail.
"LEO? MIKEY? APRIL! WHY WON'T ANYONE PICK UP?!"
"Watch out!" Ghost yelled, grabbing the TV by its stand and lifting it up just before it could run over a convulsing body on the ground.
"WHOAH! HEY!! Put me down, I demand that you put me down this instant, this is no way to treat a creation of the great and late Hamato Donatello--!!"
"Oi, mate!" a voice shouted. A door opened, and a brightly-costumed punk-rock turtle with a guitar strapped across his back leaned out quickly. "In here!!"
Ghost flung himself, the kids, and the sentient television into the room as quickly as he could, the door slamming and locking behind them all.
The medical masks worked surprisingly well. They kept out the spores, in any case. DvD had been worried that they wouldn't be strong enough, they should find some gas masks or ventilators. He didn't want to take any chances, but with time running thin they had no choice. The Hand.PNG had assured them that the masks would work for the time being.
They made their way through the halls, DvD using a torch-light feature on his tech-bō and April using her phone to light the way. Mikey stumbled as he tiptoed along with them, tripping and falling to his knees, the blue spores clouding around his head. He froze, terrified that the airborne fungus was going to seep in somehow... through the mask, through his open and untreated wounds... He couldn't move. He wanted to run, he wanted to scream, he wanted to go home. But his limbs didn't listen to him. His head clouded over, his thoughts disappeared.
Fight, flight, freeze or fawn. He froze, vanishing into himself...
DvD stopped at the sound of Mikey's knees hitting the floor, turned around to see if he was alright. Michael had started shaking and whimpering, near-silent terrified chirps escaping from him. He was too weak to walk on his own. 'Phael was busy carrying the TNT, Leon the container of weird ninpo stuff. DvD could manage carrying the weightless teen...
"Micheal?" he whispered, coming over to him and gently placing a hand on his shoulder. "You okay?"
That was a stupid question. Of course he was not okay. The kid had literally died not ten minutes ago, and 15 minutes prior to that he'd used his mystic abilities to the max and run himself dry of all possible energy, as well as reopening his scars and losing a lot of blood as a result. And even before that, he'd given away some of his strength to help aid the swayed NFIF Donatello. Mikey had been run through the ringer, and it had barely been over an hour. It was no wonder he was shaking as much as he was, unable to pick himself back up.
"Would you like me to carry you?" DvD asked, rubbing circles onto his back.
Michael didn't answer, at least not verbally. After a pause he nodded softly, squeezing his eyes shut as the tremors continued. DvD turned around and kneeled in front of him, letting the box turtle slowly climb onto his back and drape his arms over his brother's shoulders. DvD slipped the boy's legs over his hips, making sure he was secure before standing back up.
"All good back there?"
He didn't answer.
"Michael?"
He gently nuzzled his face into DvD's shoulder.
"All good--" he rasped, coughing afterwards.
Right, his throat was raw from screaming and crying.
"Alright then. Let's get going."
DvD continued, catching up quite easily to his family (and the Hand.PNG). They were taking it slow, trying to remain inconspicuous as best as possible. They saw something glowing blue approaching, and the Hand.PNG warned them to get back, slip into a side hall and wait for them to pass.... The group turned off all their lights, watching in horror as a swayed Swanatello sluggishly meandered through the corridor, his face stained with glowing blue tears and his eyes matching the shade. Mikey stifled a gasp. He was horrified viewing first face he'd seen upon entering this whole competition now taken by the spores. He buried his face into DvD's neck and shoulder blades, trying not to cry.
"We may continue," the hand whispered once the zombie was gone.
They continued, searching for a place that would shield them from the zombies and the spores.
DvD passed by a small opening of the arena, an overturned box of cake pops crushed under the feet of panicked rioters and spored contestants. Mikey must've seen it; he gripped DvD's tear-soaked vest as tightly as he could manage. Which wasn't very tight. His fingers trembled and shook, the fabric constantly slipped through his meager grip. DvD could feel Mikey's heartbeat speeding up through his chest, the breaths coming in ragged and shaky as he started to hyperventilate.
"Michael?" DvD whispered. "What's wrong?"
Mikey couldn't answer. He tried, DvD could hear him try. Tiny squeaks and cracks in his voice as he attempted a response. In the end he pressed his face into DvD's neck, hiding his vision from the warzone they were traipsing through.
"Right, can't really talk... here, try this: tap once for yes, twice for no. Are you having a panic attack?"
Mikey tapped DvD's chest once.
Tap.
"I see. Is it... the spores? Did you inhale any?"
Tap. Tap.
"Hm. Is it just... being around them? Being surrounded by the spores?"
Tap.
"I see. I'm sorry. But I won't let anything happen to you, Michael, you can be sure of that. And you can tell me if anything's wrong, you know? I want to be able to help if you see Draxum again--"
Michael's face scrunched up as he leaned over DvD's shoulder to look him in the eye.
"W-what? What did you say?" he squeaked.
"I said -- oh. I said more than I meant to." DvD cleared his throat. "Yes, well... 'Phael might've told us that you'd been having dreams."
Michael's head snapped around to glare at 'Phael, who saw the look and immediately knew what it was for. He slowed his pace and nervously hid behind Leon.
"I'm gonna kill him."
"You can't really blame him for it, you were struggling and we couldn't understand why..."
Mikey sighed sadly, resting his head against DvD's back.
"Y-yeah... I know. S-so, wh-what else did he... say... ab-bout me...?"
"Oh, nothing much. Just that you'd been having visions and recurring nightmares since Karai showed up and that you'd seen everything that happened to you."
"Dang it, 'Phael," Mikey croaked. "I w-wish he'd just -- let ME tell you, y'know? I-I would've l-liked to... tell you myself..."
"I understand. But you should have told us before. I... I would have wanted to know. Even if it hurt me. I'd rather have known you and I could have helped each other, than us both stay hurting on our own..."
"...Wait, what else did 'Phael say?" Mikey asked, knowing exactly what DvD was hinting to.
"He may have mentioned the reasoning behind you keeping your secret..."
Mikey grumbled.
"Okay, now I really am gonna kill him--"
"No you're not," Donnie interjected. "He did what he felt was right."
"I understand... but... why do I have to be so weak and pathetic??" Mikey whined. "Why can't I just... take care o-of m-m-myself? I keep getting hu-hurt and I keep having to rely on everyone to s-s-save me. To protect m-me. I mean, look at me right n-now-w!"
"Physically I can't look at you, since you are on my back...."
DvD wasn't sure why Michael hoarsely chuckled at that. But he was glad the kid could laugh at anything currently.
"...But I understand what you're getting at. You aren't weak, Michael, you're surprisingly strong. To have been through what you've experienced, and to keep your innocence, your joy, your love for everyone, and your trust? That's not an easy feat. Even I can't say that I've retained that sort of strength."
"Emotionally unavailable bad boy..." Mikey joked.
"Exactly. But you aren't weak or pathetic; you've handled so much."
"But... shouldn't I be able to take care of myself? I don't want to keep being a burden to you guys. Is it always going to be like this? Me getting hurt, and you having to carry me home?" Mikey asked softly.
"...I don't know. Hopefully not the former, but I'll always be in favour of the latter."
DvD could feel Mikey smile through his mask, the corners of his mouth turning up as he nuzzled closer to his protective and loving older brother.
"...I'm so tired. I'd fall asleep if I wasn't in a panic-fueled state of adrenaline..."
"I bet. I promise you can sleep for as long as you want once this whole thing is over--"
"Quiet!" Leon snapped. "Someone's coming!!"
The group halted, pressing against the walls in any way they could. April extinguished her light.
"DvD!" she hissed. "Your tech-bō! Get the light off!"
"I'm trying," he hissed back. He was struggling to deactivate it, what with Mikey clinging onto his back and requiring DvD's arms to keep him supported.
A group of zombies approached them. They saw the light... They started running at them.
"Run!" Leon shouted.
The UIFY group darted away, DvD gripping onto Mikey as tightly as he could with one hand, and holding his tech-bō with the other.
"This way, lads!" 'Phael called out, directing them down a side hall that would have lead to an open area for new arrivals.
It lead to doom.
The group froze upon entering the arrival arena. It was swarmed.
"NOT GOOD!" Leon shouted. "Back up, back up, BACK UP!"
An army of swayed zombies started coming at them, each one smiling evilly as they all started chanting together...
"Feed me... feed me.... feed me!"
Mikey shrieked in terror as the zombies closed in on them from both sides.
"We're surrounded!" April yelled over the roar.
"Well, you stupid disembodied hand?!" Leon shouted. "What's your brilliant plan now?!"
"Don't worry," it said, though the quiver in its voice hinted that there was some small reason to worry. "It isn't meant to end this way..."
A shout rang out from above them, followed by two small explosions that cut the zombies off from the group. High up in the rafters, high above the smoke line, a teenage boy watched his handiwork.
"TAKE THAT, YOU STUPID MUTTS!!" he shouted.
"Nice Derry and Toms, kid!" Slider-Punk laughed, as he wrapped an arm around him and jumped down from the rafters, shooting a web that slowed their descent.
From behind the group, a door burst open. Out popped a familiar middle-aged Donatello, who reached forwards and grabbed the kids.
"GET IN, QUICK! That won't hold them back for long!!"
rhg!Donnie and Slider-Punk rushed inside the room after the UIFY group, slamming and bolting the door behind them. A few moments later, the door began to pound with zombies, the faint sound of their cries coming from beyond.
Leon gasped for air, but didn't dare rest before he could see where he was and who was in here.
It was quite an assortment of characters...
A human Donatello, a Donatello who was called "Ghost", spider-themed superhero versions of Donnie, Mikey, April, and Leo, a Cat mutant and her human friend, and... a giant computer with Donnie's face on it? Okay, weird...
"I'm assuming the lack of masks means that it is safe to breath in here?"
"It's safe," Spider-Shine said. "We blocked off the vents with our webs, and Omega an' Ghostie here helped build a makeshift air generator!"
"Is that everyone?" rhg!Donnie asked, short of breath as he examined the new arrivals to their little resistance.
"Yeah, it's just us," April gasped, pulling the mask from her face as she breathed in the clean air. "Dang, that was too close for comfort! Thanks for your help, uh... I'm guessing 'Donnie'?"
rhg!Donatello looked her over cautiously. She was used to that look, everyone who had ever met her after the mutation gave her that look. But what surprised her was how eerily familiar this Donatello was, despite being so entirely different. He really looked exactly like DvD... if DvD had ten fingers instead of six, dark curly hair and human skin, and was not quite so heavily built and muscular as the turtle mutant she knew. This one was a lot thinner, though he had muscle tone too. But he was mostly covered in scars and scrapes and... was that dried blood? She smiled nervously at him as she held out a hand.
"I'm April."
"...You would be, wouldn't you?"
He took her hand and shook it gently.
"You're not a turtle," he said, continuing to eye her over.
"Well, neither are you!" she chuckled anxiously.
He could tell she felt uncomfortable. He recognized the feeling, it was how he felt in the capitol and under the gaze of so many who cheered him on as he prepared to end a life. But this was different. He'd seen enough Aprils here to know they weren't supposed to be... not human. He could tell she hadn't been like this for too long, based on how she sort of hid herself, moved away from the others as if she couldn't tell she was one of them or a part of their group. The way she rubbed the fur on her arms, kept pressing her tongue against her miniature tusk and moving it around anxiously like a loose tooth that might fall out.
"...No kidding. Anyways, who are those guys?" he asked, tilting his head to look behind her at the others.
"I can answer that!" Abby said with a giggle as she skipped over to the teens panting on the floor. "This is the Until I Found You AU team! I met DvD here a few weeks prior to the prelims! And then again in the med ward while Mikey was being treated for hypoglycemia -- speaking of which, when was the last time you ate something? You're shaking pretty bad."
"I'm okay for the moment," Mikey gasped, trying to clear his throat. "But I should probably get something to eat while I can..."
"I've met them, too," Ghost said, as he came over and leaned over to the two orphan teens, reaching over to rub their heads affectionately. "I got them a pizza. How're you kids doing?"
Mikey smiled up at him. It was a weak smile, trying desperately to hide the red eyes and the tear stains on his mask, the sore and reopened wounds on his arms and the shakiness of his frail frame. Leo didn't try at all to mask his emotional state.
"Could be better," he griped.
"I imagine," Ghost sighed, bringing the two close and wrapping his cloak around them -- especially Mikey, who couldn't stop shivering. "Let's get some warm food in you, hmm?"
Mikey nodded, reaching up and asking to be carried. Ghost obliged, scooping the child into his arms and taking him to the other side of the room where there was a heater and a kitchenette, stocked with small snacks and a few easy-bake items. Leon followed after them, just like he had when they'd first met. rhg!Donnie followed after them, having caught sight of how small and frail this Mikey was, as well as the injuries on his arms...
Ghost took the tiny teen and laid him down on the couch by the fireplace. It was a much nicer lounge than the one they'd occupied previously. As mentioned, there was a mini kitchen and a decorative faux fireplace with a heater that warmed the room up quite nicely; and there were also more seating arrangements here than the other room. Mikey settled into the sofa comfortably, snuggling in with a wiggle and a giggle like he typically did. Leon scoffed at him, though he did so with a smile. Mikey always managed to find the positive and cheery moments in even the most dire of situations. Ghost grabbed a few blankets from a small basket in the corner and draped one over Leon, who smiled and nodded a quick 'thank you' at him. He went to tuck in Mikey when noticed his arms, which DvD had failed to re-wrap.
"...What happened here?" Ghost asked, gently taking Mikey's hands and lifting his forearms closer to his face. Mikey gently pulled them away.
"Just a little... um... m-m-mystic mishap," he chuckled. "It-it's alright... really!"
"I'm going to get the antiseptics," Ghost informed. "These should be bandaged. No sense in leaving them open to get infected."
"I can treat the wounds," a voice said from behind them, causing Leon to jump slightly. It was rhg!Donnie, already holding the first aid kit. "You can go get him something to eat instead."
"Alright then," Ghost consented, then turned back to Mikey. "But you will tell me how you got these, okay? If only so we can treat them properly."
Mikey swallowed nervously and nodded. Ghost stood with a soft grunt and walked over to the kitchen, getting warm snacks ready for the guests as rhg!Donnie kneeled by the sofa and started to rub disinfectant on the wounds. Mikey hissed at the touch.
"Ow! That stings," he whinged.
"That means it's working. Stop moving so much."
Mikey did as he was told. There was something about this Donnie that was... different, but familiar. He was overprotective of Mikey, he knew the feeling of someone playing mother hen. DvD acted like this a lot, especially after everything that happened with Draxum. He wondered what could have happened to his Mikey to make him want to protect him like this... the protective drive was the same, but the reactions were different. DvD was overly gentle with him. rhg!Donnie was firm and stern. Driven. Serious. He reminded him of DvD when they'd first met each other. Far too grown-up for their age, and with a determination that could kill you if you crossed them the wrong way.
rhg!Donnie was careful, but not entirely gentle. His rough and calloused hands were strict and commanding, no room for error or hesitance. Mikey winced as he took his wrist and turned it over a little too forcefully.
"Hey, careful!" Leon scolded.
"Do you want me to bandage him, or not? He has cuts all over his arms, I have to move him to get to them."
"Well, you could be a little more sympathetic with the guy!"
rhg!Donnie glared at Leon. He sighed.
"Sorry. I'll try to be more... sympathetic."
rhg!Donnie cleaned the wounds with a bit more grace than before. Mikey still whimpered and gasped in discomfort at the antibacterial and iodine.
"So, tell me... how did you get these?"
"M-m-mystic mishap," Mikey managed, coughing afterwards.
"Nice try," rhg!Donnie scoffed. "How'd you really get them?"
"What are you talking about?" Leon asked angrily. "It was mystic! He was using his magic powers too much and then--"
"Look, I'm not an idiot, I know that those scars were made by a knife, so I'm asking you, who cut your brother like this--"
"It happened a while ago," Mikey interrupted, forcing his voice to be a little louder so rhg!Donnie could hear him properly. Even still, it was low and raspy and the effort made him cough and hack profusely afterwards. Leon immediately rushed to the sink and got him some water. Mikey downed the cup, choking for a half second and spilling some of the tap water on his shirt.
"Sorry, sorry... I'm okay, I'm...!"
"It's okay, Mike, it's only water," Leon said, clapping his hand on his little brother's back to help him. "Just chillax for a sec, let your voice come back, okay? I'll do the talking."
Mikey nodded as he continued to slurp down the water.
"Anyways, Mikey here was sorta kidnapped not too long ago and experimented on -- geez, are you okay?" he asked, grimacing at the human sitting across from him.
rhg!Donnie had gone awfully pale, his eyes wide and glazed over with panic.
"...Fine," he mumbled. "Go on."
"Uh... yeah... anyways, Mike was kidnapped by Draxum -- do you have a Draxum in your universe? Ah, whatever, he was kidnapped by a bad dude and this bad dude did bad dude evil scientist stuff to Mikey and that's where he got the scars from. But that was like, weeks ago. Mikey accidentally reopened his wounds when his ninpo went into overdrive--"
"His what?" rhg!Donnie asked.
"His ninpo... y'know, like magic?"
"I said not to lie to me--!"
"They're not lying," Ghost said, standing over them with a tray of hot chocolate and some cookies. "I should've realized this sooner, but I'm guessing that since you're human that means you don't have any mutants or magic in your world," he said as he gently ruffled the teen's hair. rhg!Donnie shooed the affection away, suspicious of ulterior motives. Ghost sighed and continued.
"These kids come from a universe where their family has special abilities, mystic powers that are unique to them. And sometimes, using those powers too much have... unforeseen consequences," Ghost noted, taking Mikey's hand once again and looking at the wounds.
Michael nodded sadly. Ghost smiled and placed the warm mug into his hand.
"Just be careful next time, okay kid?" he asked, rubbing his head to assure him he wasn't mad, only concerned.
"...Very well, then," rhg!Donnie exhaled, finally admitting defeat. "In that case, I'm not sure I know how to tend to 'mystic' injuries."
"I got it," Ghost volunteered, searching in the first aid for anything especially sparkly or glowing. That would be a good sign. After some rummaging, he managed to procure some mystic cream and began to salve the cuts and sores.
rhg!Donnie watched with interest and concern. He studied the label for future reference. He memorized the patterns in which Ghost anointed the child. He took internal photographs of the angles and shapes of Mikey's scars... and prayed that he would never have to see them on his baby brother back home. He had been concerned that this was the same Mikey he'd met earlier... they looked very much alike upon first glance. But after closer inspection, he saw that they had some differences. The scars were obvious. But this one was younger, and much smaller. Not just shorter, but skinnier too. He looked a lot like his brother in that sense. As for the Leon beside him -- the one that kept giving rhg!Donnie dirty side glances -- he looked like his twin brother. Except bald. No sign of the beautiful and soft hair that rhg!Dee used to braid and style for him before he'd left. He was frightfully thin, too. A thick scarf surrounded his neck to help insulate the miniscule amount of warmth his body could provide. rhg!Donnie happened to glance over at him when he didn't expect it, and saw him pocket a few extra medical supplies, subconsciously stuffing them into his pants. There were quite a few things already in his pockets, rhg!Dee realized. This kid was a thief. Not that it bothered him, he and his Leo had been sneaky like that on more than one occasion. District 4 wasn't a very generous place to live.
rhg!Donnie found himself reaching for his hand the next time he went to snatch something. Not so much to stop him as to simply just... hold something that was so similar to his brother. He knew he wouldn't get a chance like this again for a long time. If ever. It might be stupid, but for a moment he wanted to pretend that this was his Leo. It worked for half a moment, he could almost see his brother here in the room with him.
Leon turned to him as he grabbed his hand, wide-eyed in surprise before realizing that he'd been caught.
"Oh... Old habits die hard, I guess," he explained, sheepishly dropping the tube of ointment he'd taken.
"Next time, try it like this," rhg!Donnie whispered, showing him how to take the tube with better efficiency, while simultaneously distracting the victim while you repurposed their possessions. But he got the feeling this teen already knew all the tricks of the trade.
Leon smiled weakly at him.
"Thanks, but... well, there's not really supposed to be a 'next time'," he explained, while looking back at DvD and 'Phael. "I kinda have a family now... and a home."
"Congratulations," rhg!Donnie said, hoping the genuine delight that this Leon had his family all around him came through, despite the monotonous tone in his voice.
"The kleptomania just sorta... flares up when I'm stressed," he mumbled. "When I feel like I'm not safe. I take stuff so I can pretend that I have everything I might need in an emergency." He laughed as he pulled out all the band-aids and alcohol wipes and gauze from his pockets. "I don't even know what I'd do with half of this stuff!"
"It's better to have most of this than not," rhg!Donnie mentioned, taking half of the pile and stuffing them into his own pockets, despite knowing that if he were to be portalled home again the items wouldn't be going with him. "Just in case..."
DvD had strolled right up to the giant tv screen in the room with a 2D icon of his face... or rather, a face greatly resembling his.
The icon looked down at him, it made an expression. It looked skeptical of him. It could express emotions, and could have thoughts. It must be an AI.
"How fascinating..." DvD murmured, looking the screen over. "What kind of CPU do you run on...?"
"That is classified information," the voice responded. And as flat-toned as most Donatellos tended to be, this one had actual emotion in its voice! It sounded just like him.
"What kind of program are you? You operate like a mimicry program, copying expressions and reactions..." he poked around behind the screen, investigating a few wires and buttons. "What's back here--"
"HEY NOW!" the AI reeled, two mechanical arms grabbing DvD's wrists and pulling him away as the screen moved back on its tiny little wheelie stand. "Hands to yourself, thank you very much!"
DvD's eyes widened. This was much more than a simple AI...
"What... who are you?" he asked.
"My name is OMEGA BOOTYYYSHAKER9000. Most people simply refer to me as 'Omega'. I am a replica of Hamato Donatello."
"Replica..." DvD looked the screen over as his brain pieced together the information. "...Oh."
This was always Omega's least favourite part of the competition, when the younger versions of his family understood that the future was not only unkind, but in most cases it took more than it gave.
"...Well, at the very least, you have achieved the perfect form -- man and machine, finally as one!" DvD said with a grin.
"You sound like Leonardo."
"You take that slander back."
Omega chuckled. When his Leo had first met him, he'd said something almost exactly like that...
"Do you think... do you think that this will be my fate?" DvD asked cautiously, as he continued to inspect the replica. "I've met a few older versions of myself in this competition. One was a demon-void-thing. One is tending to my brother now. I know better than to alter the course of time, I wouldn't dream of... well. But I'd like to know the probabilities, weigh out the outcomes and prepare myself mentally."
"You want to know if... you might end up as a digital duplicate?" Omega asked nervously.
"Only the statistical probability of it happening."
Omega wasn't sure about this. Yes, this teenager seemed highly intelligent and had an iron-clad determination, but he knew better than to actually tell him the truth. For whatever reason -- perhaps his own insatiable curiosity and need to know the outcome and 'create a fix' -- he crunched the numbers. He ran the simulation to test his theory. He knew the outcome of their storyline. And he was right, there was no real benefit to tell him the truth of his future... There was no benefit to telling him how -- in the wrong timeline -- his brother Leon would be the first to go, sacrificing himself to save the others during the first few years of the invasion. And Mikey would follow some time after, his hypoglycemia becoming too much of a strain for his body in a society where food was scarce and rations were slim. There was no point in telling him of the pain that he and 'Phael would bear, caring for the lone orphan son of their late comrade Cassandra Jones. No point in DvD knowing that he would be the one to invent time travel, only to use the machine once -- to send his surrogate nephew into the past to remedy everything. Omega smiled at him, keeping the simulation to himself.
"...Who can say what will happen next?"
'Phael looked in awe at the spider-themed teens in the corner who all jibbered and jabbered away. He was a little too nervous to actually approach them. They were superheroes, weren't they? He'd seen how superheroes looked in the movies! And these blokes looked just like 'em. But 'Phael's social anxiety started kicking into high gear, he fidgeted with his hands, picking at the fingernails which he'd nibbled down to stubs. He shifted his weight from foot to foot as he tried not to think about what they were thinking about, which was probably him and about how embarrassing he was --
One of the spider-teetlez turned to look at him. Oh no. OH HEADS NO, he caught him staring. He stared back. OH HEADS. The spider kid smiled and skipped over to him, his hair bouncing with each and every step.
"Hey there, big guy! You okay?"
"Oh, uh, s-sure!" 'Phael mumbled nervously. "W-w-why wouldn't I be?"
"Oi, is that another Brit I hear!?"
'Phael jumped suddenly as the blue and red turtle that had helped them in the halls immediately pounced at him, wrapping an arm around his neck with a great big smile.
"I was 'bout to lose hope for this Johnny Horner, I thought the entire arena was filled with yanks!"
"Uh heh, yeh," 'Phael chuckled, thinking maybe this wasn't the best time to tell him he technically was a 'Yank', having been born and raised in the Colonies. He was just brought up around folks with British accents...
"Hey, lads (and April)! Come 'ere, I wanna introduce ya to one of the dustbin lids that just arrived! This here is a BRITISH RAPHAEL!"
'Phael smiled nervously as he was passed around from hero to hero -- and they all were very nice and friendly, if not a bit intimidating. But then again, everyone was intimidating to him.
Everyone had gathered in the center of the room, squeezing together on the couches and sofas and ottomans and even one rocking chair. Now that everyone had introduced themselves, and Mikey had been taken care of -- his arms rebandaged and his stomach filled with tea and cookies -- it was time to come up with a plan of action.
There wasn't much time left...

Mc is wearing a tight unflattering Halloween costume in bed
Like the devil one or the low rent cheetah 🐆 cat ears
Whos getting 👀 hot 🔥
Mc with bad costume
Cw lewd Luvan gets a little angy
༺𓆩❦𓆪༻ ༺𓆩❦𓆪༻ ༺𓆩❦𓆪༻ ༺𓆩❦𓆪༻ ༺𓆩❦𓆪༻
Obelix would struggle not to laugh seeing you in such a horrible costume. He would walk over to you and gently touch your hips before ripping the costume off of you.
“Sorry my cutie pie but I got a better costume in mind for you.”
He would dress you himself in a much flattering outfit and put on a matching one. Obelix will puff out with pride having dressed you up in a more feathery outfit.
“There we match! How about we go see if you can sing just like a cute little birdie.~ But seriously I’m never allowing you to pick your own costume again. I love you but it was awful.”
Luvan is just blankly staring at you the whole time trying to figure out if you choose a shitty costume on purpose or not. He’s honestly a little annoyed. Luvan stays indoors for things like Halloween and doesn’t really like dressing up too much in costumes. And in general he’s not that sexually active. So seeing his darling in bed dressed up like that feels more like you’re trying to push his buttons.
“I’m not giving you what you want. I’m not encouraging your behavior. And I’m not entertained.”
He’ll huff and take a deep breath as he holds onto the door frame tightly to calm himself down from snapping at you.
“I’m going to my brother’s.”
He keeps it nice and quick as he storms away to go stay at Halio’s for the night. And vent to him how he feels like you were mocking him for having a such a low sex drive. Since why else would you purposefully choose such an awful costume for bed if not to mock him.
Halio on one hand wants to give you the most what the fuck look, but on the other he doesn’t want to turn down an offer to sleep with you soooo he’s already getting undress. He’s taking everything off of you beside those bad cat ears since they’re cutely charming on you.
“Shush don’t say anything kitty, you’re only allowed to meow for me.”
Though he’s definitely taking a mental note to never let you buy outfits by yourself again. Or at least give you a link to a website to buy costumes that he knows are going to be better.
“So good taking me so well. That’s it mewl for me as you take me nice and deep in you.”
Oblivi is honestly way more flattered that you’re trying to seduce her to focus on the costume. Unlike her siblings and father she doesn’t take on the most human of forms. So seeing that you still want her gets her very flustered fast.
“Oh my. I goodness, you got me such a mess my dear. I’ll gladly take you as much as you want.”
She aims to please you especially after making her feel so nice and wanted. You will have your make a safe word or tap out though because as a god she has so much stamina and she’s using all of that to make you feel so good, she forgets that you don’t have much stamina compared to her.
“Hm stop why? Oh..oh! Apologies my love are you ok?! You look so blissed out of it…well I’m happy you’re ok go ahead and rest. I’ll go get you some water and come cuddle up with you.”
Dio would take on look at you and sigh before letting out a deep chuckle walking over and sitting on the bed. He’ll pull you onto his lap and look into your eyes as he rubs your thighs.
“You’re being a cheeky thing aren’t you wearing such a bad costume. Or are you really that oblivious not to realize it? Either way it’s cute seeing you try to get me to sleep with you.”
He’ll buck up into you on pair of arms holding your thighs the other caressing your cheeks before slipping his finger into your mouth to suck on it.
“Go on you seduce me. You wanted this right? You wanted me to fuck your brains out? Fuck you till you can only think about my cock. Then you’re gonna have to work for it baby. Prove to me you want my cock.”

"I FUCKIN HATE MENSTRUATING"
(this is a mini comic/vent I did some months ago)
Why wasn't I fucking born with a dick?
it would be cool if I could remove my uterus/matrix idk. I'm not gonna use it.
It would be nice to be able to give it to someone who needs it. "Thanks friend!"
BUT NOOOO… IT CAN'T BE JUST THAT EASY , AND IN THE MEANTIME, MY BODY KEEPS GOING THROUGH UNNECESSARY RESOURCE LOSSES AND HORMONAL DISRUPTIONS. - fuckindamit!!
So yeah, it would be cool if it didn't happen, not necessarily if you don't need it…. (I already have enough with the "feel too much" issue).
... But oh well, whatever. (Pass the ibuprofen)

is it weird that as soon as I vent or ask for advice from an advice blog or vent blog, I get this fear that they'll track me down and expose that I was the one who sent in my anon - which leads me to freak out to the point of extreme paranoia and then delete my account only to go and do it all over again because I think that "oh this time will be different!" I know I show signs of high functioning bpd but is this really a symptom or just me being dramatic
-Angie💟
Paranoia and fear of the world in general are major BPD symptoms, so no it's not just you (and every time someone says "you're just being dramatic", they're usually referencing a symptom of something whether they know it or not). I spend a lot of days trying not to wipe myself off the Internet because of it, it just happens. It's hard though, and I hope it gets easier to deal with.

lovefool | tom holland
summary: tom is your best friend's brother and you have nooooo idea how you got here.
↳ best friends brother au genre: implied smut, fluff, angst if you squint
word count: 1.7k+
song inspiration: lovefool by the cardigans
You had no idea how you got here.
Actually, that was a lie. You had a really good idea of how you got here. In fact, a few months ago you planned to be right here, on your best friend's couch, your lips intertwined with his brother’s. You knew that if he had found you in this position, with his brother's knee planted firmly in between your thighs, that both you and Tom would be dead. You should stop, you thought to yourself. You knew this could hurt Harry but yet here you were still allowing his brother to practically deflower you with his kneecap.
You should stop, your mind rang again as Tom’s hands moved from your ribcage to your waist. Whatever air he was breathing out was now your own, the space between you two practically nonexistent. He smelled of lemon and sandalwood and tasted like spearmint, but when he bit down on your lip all you tasted was the sour taste of your own blood. He wasn’t as gentle as you thought he would be but that didn’t stop you any less.
You should stop, your conscience reminded you as he started to make his way down your neck with only his mouth. He was panting and nipping at your skin as if he was starving and you were the only one around, every little noise you made making him smirk against your skin as if he knew what he was doing to you. He was pressing you into the cushions below and you were convinced that the minute you got up the shape of you and him would remain there for years to come.
You should sto-, your mind tried to tell you but was cut short by him sucking on the sensitive skin behind your ear.
Fuck it.
It had been a week since you hooked up with Tom and despite your best efforts you couldn’t help but feel guilty about it. Harry was your best friend, the person you told everything to, and every moment you spent around him was another moment you felt like you were lying to him. He wouldn’t mind, you tried convincing yourself, but even your own mind laughed at the thought. Your mind flashed to a time where he was punching the shit out of a guy ten times his size because he thought he grabbed you too hard.
It wasn’t like he was in love with you. He was in a happy and healthy relationship with your other friend Angi and he almost always referred to you as his little sister, even though you were older than him. He found you at a particularly rough time in your life and you understood that him meeting you under that circumstance forced him to play a protective role in your life.
On top of that his relationship with his brother wasn’t the best. They had an on-again off-again relationship, being each other's best friends one minute, and tearing each other to shreds the next. You couldn’t begin to understand it, but it wasn’t your place in the first place. So when he needed to vent, you were there. And when he needed to ditch you to hang out with Tom, you understood.
So here you sat in this shitty dive bar across from Angi, giggling with her about various stuff, the liquor now getting to both of your heads. It was nice being out with her getting tipsy off of two dollar margaritas and getting to catch up on the boring stuff that happened to you during the week when you weren’t able to talk. It was also serving as a distraction, your mind not wanting to discuss what you were keeping from Harry and what you did with hi- fuck, was that Tom?
“What is Tom doing here?” You slumped in the booth, taking a large swig from your straw and draining the cup.
“Oh, I invited Harry and I guess they’re friends again because he asked if he could bring him along.” Angi replied matter of factly as you sat there with your eyes trained on him. You watched as he maneuvered his way through people, smiling and waving at the bartender before his eyes locked on you. Even though the expression on your face was now leaning toward fear as he moved closer, he had the cockiest smirk on his face as he approached you.
“Hey Angi,” He smiled as he slid into the seat next to you and you watched as Harry sat next to Angi and pressed a gentle kiss on her cheek. You smiled at the interaction but that smile quickly fell as Tom turned to face you in his seat. His face was just a few inches from yours and he allowed his knee to knock against yours.
“Y/n.” He stated simply, smiling at you like his brother wasn’t right there across the table from you. You didn’t even realize how tightly your hand was gripping the wooden seat of the booth until he brushed his fingers along your knuckles and you instantly relaxed.
You glanced over at Harry whose full attention was on his girlfriend which allowed you to take a breath of relief.
“Hi, Tom.” You whispered back, allowing a smile to grace your face. With that grin the tension in the room dissipated and you allowed yourself to relax. You were just talking to your best friend's brother, nothing weird about that.
“I missed you,” he whispered, looking down to where his hand was still lightly placed upon yours. He moved his hand down, allowing his pinky to interlock with yours. “Have you been getting my texts?”
Yes, you thought, but you didn’t want to let him know you were actively ignoring him because you felt shitty for allowing him to fuck you.
“I’ve just been too busy to reply this week.” You lied through your teeth, hoping he wouldn’t notice your sharp intake of breath. But he just hummed in response, and got up to get a drink from the bar.
The night when smoother than you thought it would, the lights getting more blurry with each drink you took. It was like everything everyone said was getting increasingly more funny as the night went on and your body grew warmer. You would occasionally laugh so hard that you had to lean your head on Tom’s shoulder. Well, you didn’t have to, but you really really wanted to. And Tom would welcome your warmth by leaning his head on top of yours, and from what you could tell, Harry didn’t mind.
But as time went on, you only got more drunk which meant you grew more tired and needed to get home to the warmth of your own bed.
“I need to leave.” You managed to slur out randomly as you tried stepping over Tom in the booth, only managing to trip and nearly fall flat on your face if it wasn’t for Tom’s arm firmly pulling you back up.
“Woah, there. You’re not going to go home by yourself, are you?” He questioned glancing over at Harry and Angi, who were a lot more sober and staring at you with wide eyes.
“Mate, why don’t you take an Uber home with her?” he suggested, glancing in between you and his brother. “Me and Angi want to stay, plus I have to take her home later.”
Tom gave him a look that asked him ‘are you sure?’, but all he did was nod back in response, giving him a tight lipped smile. With that confirmation Tom moved out of his seat and pulled out his wallet to place a few twenties on the table. “Nice seeing you Angi.” He smiled as he turned to walk you out to where your Uber was already waiting.
As you both piled into the backseat he laughed as your head smashed into the window. He nudged you with his arm as he watched you carefully, waiting for your eyes to open in acknowledgment. You could only manage to open one eye to look at him, but when you did you were filled with warmth. He was looking at you like you held the world in your head and you tried to remember the last time someone looked at you like that. You don’t think anyone ever has.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” you slurred out, your voice slightly muffled since your face was smashed up on the glass.
“Like what?” he questioned cluelessly.
“Like I’m the only person in the world.” You stated, now mustering up the courage to sit up straight and stare right back at him.
“You are.” he said much quieter, his hand moving to hold yours for what felt like the millionth time tonight. “To me at least.”
You felt flustered, not only were you way past drunk, but here was the person you had been pining after for years telling you that you were the only person that existed to. You understood the implications of that. There was a pleasant isolation that came with liking someone. You woke up thinking about them, and when you closed your eyes they followed you into your dreams. They appeared in your favorite movies, your favorite songs, and even on the pages of your favorite book. You knew that feeling because for so long that is what you felt about him. He was the end all and be all of the human race and your heart grew ten sizes when he walked in a room. That’s what you felt like at least.
“I liked being with you,” you started, not sure what you were trying to convey “not just sexually, but like, romantically.” You looked down where he was squeezing at your hand, a soft laugh coming from his lips that seemed to mix with the sound of the car engine.
“I like being with you too.” He whispered back, now scared he was sounding like a schoolgirl. “So why have you been ignoring me?” he asked firmly. As you opened your mouth to speak he began again. “The real reason.”
You gave him a half smile before pulling your hand from his. “Because of Harry.”
He looked puzzled for a minute before the realization hit him. “But Harry knows.”

ೃ༄HIT DICE (V)
EDDIE MUNSON X HARRINGTON!OC
MASTERLIST
✧chapter five: the relams of death
↳ word count: 6,6K
↳ spoiler warning: up until s4ep3-5
↳ other warnings: angst, death, wound and injury descriptions, violence, assault
↳ mentioned songs/artists: Angie by The Rolling Stones, Billy Idol, The Cure
↳ a/n: it’s high time I finally thanked you all for all of the interactions you’re giving this fic. I’m grateful from the bottom of my heart!
"Be careful, okay?"
Resounding in her mind, the sentence accompanied Stacy everywhere she had found herself since the visit at Reefer Rick's. Firstly said by Eddie, she kept those words in mind when she and Dustin jeopardized the radio frequency and later while informing the metalhead that the police had already began a search for him when they returned to the shack with groceries.
Then, said by Steve when they decided to split up after meeting up with Nancy Wheeler at the trailer park. The young journalist and Robin set off to the library in search of information about Victor Creel — a man, whose family had been killed a few decades ago and a person, who Eddie's uncle thought to be the true perpetrator.
After Max stated Chrissy was seeing Ms. Kelley — the school’s counselor — she and Dustin opted for investigating on the matter. Despite notorious complaints from Steve, arguing he had grown sick of being a babysitter and a driver, he was claimed to pursue just exactly that. Stacy, on the other hand, was meant to join the girls, until she figured out there was a greater mission awaiting her.
That was why she was now standing on the porch of Debbie Donoghue's house, hands behind her back.
"I think I might be of use," she remembered herself saying to the others. "Maybe Chrissy shared something with the Cheer Team... I can try asking them about it."
It was high time she finally contributed to the case and — if the social status she so frantically tried to keep up could help — she was going to do everything it took not only to bring the closure to herself but also to learn the truth. To protect others, who might get possessed. To bring justice to Eddie.
And she could only do that by gaining knowledge of Vecna's modus operandi. Who, why and when did he attack. With that, she, her brother and friends could stop him. Just like they stopped the Mind Flayer and Demogorgons over the years.
They had to. Simply because they had no other option.
"Oh, Stacy, dear. The girls are upstairs," Debbie's mother whined as she opened the front door, emptying her nose into an already wet handkerchief. "I'm so sorry. Debbie mentioned you and Chrissy had been friends since diapers and... Oh, god. I'm so sorry."
Stacy's jaw trembled the moment she watched the middle-aged woman breaking into an ugly cry. She fought with her own self not to do the same because she knew in order to make things right she needed to keep her composure. As brutal and heartless it sounded, Stacy had her fair share in seeing numerous deaths. Deaths that were soaked with unfairness and absurdity. Deaths that could have been avoided.
This was what she was trying to do. Avoid anyone else getting hurt.
Murmuring soft words of comfort, Stacy headed up the stairs, her destination being the bedroom she had spent countless hours in Middle School.
Debbie's room hadn't changed at all since then. Flowery wallpaper of pastel colors was still the vocal point of the place, fuzzy pink pillows and matching blankets were decorating her bed. Only the pictures on the walls grew in numbers, now displaying the cheerleaders and the trophies they had won on the span of the last few years.
It wasn't uncommon for Debbie's room to become a venting space, a spot where her and the girls could cry about the boys, arguments with their parents, or the grades. Yet that day, seeing sobbing Angie Ferguson was heart-wrenching. Beside her and Debbie they were three other girls in the room — all that Stacy recognized as cheerleaders. One of them was hugging Angie, the other two leaning against the wall with equally sorrowful eyes.
"I've been calling you the whole goddamn day, Stace!" Debbie exclaimed angrily the moment she saw her classmate. With her fists clenched, she approached Stacy, grabbing her by the collar of her denim jacket. "Do you have any idea how fucking terrified I was when my boyfriend called me telling Chrissy's been murdered? Do you have any fucking idea..?"
She spoke in frenzy, her fingers loosening up due to her losing control. Her grip disappeared only when Stacy touched her back, quietly apologizing to her. She had never seen Debbie in that state; she had always came off as untouchable for any outside factors. But a person, who was known for being rude and confident was now on the verge of tears, stripped off of the persona she tended to put on.
"D-did the police talk to you?" Stacy tried to ask firmly, however, her voice cracked at the beginning of her sentence.
"Why the hell would they talk to us? Her killer is on a loose, they better focus on that," Debbie scoffed, her emotions seemingly untamable.
"What if there was something she had told us... something that we deemed unimportant up until this point," Stacy replied in a hushed tone that sounded almost ghoulish.
"You’ve gotta be kidding me, Harrington," Debbie hissed, her face red from fury. Not waiting for any sort of explanation, she blasted out, "We're mourning our friend... our goddamn captain and you're questioning us about her? What the fuck is wrong with you?"
"...Maybe that's the way she's dealing with it all," one of the cheerleaders interfered, defending Stacy. A grave mistake, considering that Debbie's next words was an allegory of a brutal punch the a face.
"There's no way of dealing with this! Jason spoke with the police, and you know what they told him? That her eyes were ripped out and all of her joints were broken. How the fuck you think we're gonna deal with that?!"
Gruesome silence filled the pink bedroom, a clinking sound of Debbie's mom doing dishes being the only thing the girls could hear. It wasn't until Angie Ferguson covered her mouth, rapidly standing up and warning, "I'm gonna be sick."
Debbie scoffed as she watched her friend running towards the toilet on the other side of the hallway, glancing over the rest of the cheerleaders with reprimanding stare.
"I'll go after her," Stacy offered as it was her that stood the closest to the door.
A notion of trepidation captured her mind when she realized it was the second time this week, she found herself in a bathroom with one of her friends. Before she went in, a fearful thought appeared on the brim of her mind. What if Angie was going to be the next victim? Crying, running to the closed off space. So far, the case was looking alarmingly similar.
"Hey... you okay?" Stacy asked as soon as she entered the toilet.
With arms wrapped around her own body, Angie leaned against the wall, looking up at her friend's face with big, watery eyes.
"I lied," she confessed, making sure the door was locked. "I'm not feeling unwell... it's just..."
Her hands gestured vividly as though she was looking for the right words to use. With the tears dripping down her cheeks, she glanced at Stacy, visibly searching her to help her.
"...she told you something, didn't she?" the wavy-haired girl spoke, placing her hand on Angie's shoulder.
"A week ago. She said she had this bad dream of her mom being mean to her... You know how she is... very mean sometimes," she mumbled, her voice, as well as her mannerisms, becoming childlike. "I thought it was just this one time and she'll get better after the weekend but..."
"...the dreams continued?"
"Mhm... and they got worse... so much worse," Angie cried, hiding her face behind her hands. "She... she didn't tell me exactly what were they about, but I remember her face during English when she said that... they couldn't seem to stop."
The terror in her eyes, the tears staining her cheeks, her sweet tone calloused by her cries... It all caused Stacy to grab Angie’s hand, holding it tightly.
"Remember when Chrissy played that Rolling Stones song when you were told to keep wearing your braces? Summer before your freshman year? Angie, Angie, I hate the sadness in your eyes," she sang softly, her steady tone sounding incredibly soothing. It didn't matter she had botched the lyrics.
"Yeah," Angie let out a singular giggle through the streams of tears. "I thought everyone would laugh at me but she said that it only matter how I saw myself... and that if I liked myself everyone would like me back."
"Exactly. That's how you need to remember her. As the sweetest, most caring girl in Hawkins," Stacy whispered, a tear escaping her eye. "I'm gonna find out, who did this to her. And I swear on everything in this world, Chrissy'll be avenged."
"I don't understand..." Angie murmured quietly, her grip tightening one last time before she let go of her hand.
"I'll explain you everything in detail someday but for now... just please tell the girls I had to go," Stacy responded, sending her a faded smile.
"Stacy!" Angie called after her after she had already turned on her heel. "Ms. Kelley asked Chrissy to keep a diary. I saw her throwing it into her locker before the game yesterday. I-I think it still might be there."
Unexplainably grateful, Stacy ran towards her friend, hugging her one last time before she speeded off towards the direction of her car. The sky flushed in soft pink, tangerine orange and fiery auburn as she made her way to the Hawkins High, ready to take action. Her thoughts rushed, sorting the collected information. Briefly but comprehensively, Angie's confession pointed her towards the direction of pondering a few, fairly concrete theories that only awaited to be confirmed or negated by her friends.
Grabbing the walkie-talkie with the intention to check at what point of their investigations where they, she pressed the black button on the side of the device, saying, "It's Stacy. Anyone there?"
Silence.
"Dusty? Robin? My idiot brother?"
"How about me?" a familiar voice asked from the other side of the shortwave diathermy, making Stacy immediately smile.
"You'll do," she replied, knowing her grin could be very well audible. "How are you? Hope you haven't smoked all of my cigarettes."
Eddie chuckled, admitting, "In times of desperation even a man with the most exquisite taste can find himself smoking menthol Newport's."
"So how is he?"
"Huh?"
"The man with taste you're talking about. Last time I've checked you were lacking common sense, so I figured you must be talking about someone else," she replied, a wide grin on her face.
"Very funny, buttercup. Kick me when I'm down."
Another person getting on the frequency made it unable for Stacy to answer. Her face covered in red when she heard,"Okay, lovebirds, date's over. Mommy's home,"
"Oh, hi, Harrington!" Eddie replied, although it could be sensed by his vary tone he suddenly became nervous.
"Steve, you all good? I've talked to Angie and I'm on my way to search Chrissy's locker," Stacy informed her brother before he had a chance to put in another embarrassing remark.
"We'll meet you at school then. Max came up with an idea to break in the counselor's office," he stated as if it was the most natural thing to do. "By the way. Why's Munson calling you pet names?"
There it was. The demeaning comment she was expecting.
"Who's Munson? Don't know that dude," Eddie replied, casually playing off Steve's question.
"I'll meet you guys at school," Stacy said before turning off the walkie-talkie.
As promised, in another few minutes she arrived at the parking lot, opening the trunk of her car. A victorious expression came over her when she found the tool box, laying in between all the junk she had been driving with just in case. Another disturbing habit she developed after the events that took place on the span of past two years.
"Gotcha," she exclaimed after grabbing a wrench.
Jumping through the opened window of the girls' changing room, she followed the dark path of the hallway. Hawkins High always seemed quite eerie after hours; almost like something sinister had been hiding in its shadows all along, waiting to hunt its pray.
A chill came right down Stacy's spine when she located the locker. An utterly gruesome sensation tightened her stomach as she realized she was about to break in her dead childhood friend personal space.
"Focus, Stace," she whispered to herself, taking the first swing at the metal doors.
Concentrated on destroying the lock, she clenched her jaw, putting all of her strength into every single hit. The moment it loosened, she undermine it from the side, almost collapsing when she managed to get the locker opened. Rummaging through its contents, she couldn't help but notice the photos, plastered to the side. One of them displayed her and Jason in an embrace after one of the last year's game. The second and the third showed the Cheer Team, but the second... was the exact same photo that was framed on Stacy's gallery wall — a picture of them, aged five and six, in matching Halloween ballerina costumes.
She had no idea how much tears she had cried out for the past day. She had no idea where would they stop appearing. If they would ever stop.
Her body shivered when she took the yellow diary in her hands, opening it on the page one. Making a mental note to thank her primary school teacher for sending her to the speed-reading competition, she skimmed through the sentences as fast as she could. If she didn't, she knew she would broke into tears again.
Monsters that look like my parents... a clock… my mom telling me I put on weight... a low voice calling my name... a silhouette...
"Fuck," Stacy mumbled, not realizing she was holding her breath during the whole time she was reading Chrissy's confessions.
What acted as a further reminiscence was her brother's muffled screams, followed by Dustin's panic. Without thinking she ran towards the direction from where the voices were coming and just as she feared, it was Ms. Kelley's office.
"Max! Maxine!" Steve called, hysterically tapping her shoulder.
Fortunately, the redhead opened her eyes, gasping loudly the moment she was brought back to reality.
"What happened?!" Dustin shouted, taking a look at her scared face.
"I... you need to come with me," she whispered, heading out to the corridor and showing them the place in which she saw a grandfather's clock.
Soon after, Robin and Nancy stormed into the hallway, listening into the story of the nightmare the girl just had. A trance. Just like Chrissy. Just like Fred. They found their way back to the counselor's room, taking places beside the desk. Explaining what they all learned, they let the Max conclude the investigations. It being the fact she had less than twenty-four hours before Vecna attacked.
A clank interrupted their consultation. One that caused everyone to feel disturbingly frightened. Without unnecessary words Steve approached the door, grabbing the standing lamp as his weapon of choice. Not being able to let him alone, Stacy hid Chrissy's diary beside her belt, following her brother.
With a stare that said, "sit on your ass and don't move," Steve wanted to scold his sister, yet, he received a shrug in response as she raised her hand that held a wrench in it. Carefully coming out to the hallway, the rest followed the Harrington siblings, who instead of bravery, basked in their own hot-headedness.
"It's me!" Terrified voice of Lucas Sinclair yelled as Steve almost hit him with the lamp he had just held to ransom.
Panting, sounding absolutely petrified, the basketball player tried to explaining to Dustin what had happened. The moment Stacy heard the name Jason being mentioned, she froze, the wrench she was holding hitting the floor.
They were trying to hunt Eddie down.
All she could think of while driving to the Wheeler's house was his safety. Her hands were so cold she couldn't even feel the sweat that appeared on her skin. Revising what they'd learnt, what they planned on next, the group spent half of the night scheming their next steps. Especially what they could do in Max's case. Majority of them realized how grave the danger were when they found out about the visions the cursed people were having. Painful memories used against them, nights that were either sleepless or filled with nightmares...
Seated in between her brother and Dustin, Stacy couldn't focus on anything else than her own fear. Fear, that something could happen to her loved ones. It wasn't the first time she found herself brainstorming in the Wheeler's basement, yet somehow it felt colossally different. Drastically intense.
Clasping her hands, Stacy knew she needed to get out of the room, even for a tiniest while. It was suffocating her.
"Where are you going?" Steve asked before Stacy had the chance to fully stand up.
"Kitchen," she answered swiftly, however, her voice was far from being present.
"Oh, could you bring me some water?" Dustin asked, placing his hands on his knees.
"Really, dude? Really?" Steve rolled his eyes, pointing at his sister as though tell his younger friend it was best to leave her alone.
"What? You want me to die of dehydration? What kind of person are you?" Henderson argued, not picking up on the cue.
With a tiny smile, Stacy reassured him she would bring him something to drink. Before that, however, she made her way outside, sitting on the Wheeler's back porch, her head hanging low in her lap. Tauntingly afraid of what awaited her and her friends, Stacy needed some time to calm her uneasy breathing. Nevertheless, her thoughts always traveled to only one person in the end — Eddie Munson.
She could've only imagine how lonely and scared he must've been feeling, sitting all by himself in the boathouse, guilt dripping off of him. She could've only guess how the horrid images haunted his mind, drilling a wide hole through his soul, leaving scars he could never recover from.
Never wanting anyone else to experience what she and her friends went through, she wished she could take his memories away, erase them, never let them be perpetuated. It made her realize she cared about him. More than she had ever thought she would.
"Hi," soft voice belonging to Nancy Wheeler interrupted her invasive wonderings. "We haven't talked in a while."
"Yeah..." Stacy smirked. Exactly since the Starcount Mall battle happened. It so happened the paths of the two girls had not crossed, partially because Nancy busy with collage application, working at a local newspaper and Stacy buried herself under piles of books and social gatherings.
"How are you?"
Stacy rolled her eyes, shaking her head, "You don't have to do this, Nance. I appreciate it but I'm not a fan of small talks... Just cut to the case."
Nancy chuckled timidly, sitting right beside the sister of her ex-boyfriend, "I honestly wanted to ask you how are you doing."
"Spectacularly splendid," she rolled off her tongue, sending her companion a resigned smirk. "My friend is dead, my other friend's suspected of killing her, this sci-fi shit's back... a casual day for me."
"You talk just like Steve," the curly-haired girl smiled, biting her lip. "Downplaying how you're feeling to make a joke... I used to think that's adorable but I realized sometimes acting tough is worse than allowing yourself to be vulnerable," she explained, glancing directly at Stacy.
"Siblings thing," the younger girl shrugged, toying with the rock she picked up. "You and Mike have that, too, you know? This all being tough shit. I close my eyes one moment, then next thing I know you’re taking out monsters with that gun of yours. And Mike's fighting alongside his supernatural girlfriend... truly something else. But still you never ask for help. Even if you need it," she stated, staring at her challengingly.
"Why do I get a feeling you're hostile towards me?" Nancy asked, although her caring expression didn't vanish even for a while. Just as her question was spoken out of pure curiosity.
"Well, you did break my brother's heart..." Stacy answered with an overly-dramatic expression, breaking into a smile. "I'm kidding. I held no reservations for you, Miss Wheeler. I'm just super tired," she yawned as though she tried to make a point of her theatrical curtesy.
"...and super worried," Nancy added, meeting with Stacy's furrowed brow. "It shows. That's why I came up here... because I know you saw Chrissy in the same state as I saw Fred," she explained, her mannerism beginning to lack her usual confidence.
Noticing that, Stacy, ever so slightly, touched the nose of her shoe, saying, "That's why we won't let it happen to anyone else."
"Why does everyone keep taking my place of being the most caring brother in the world?" Steve complained the moment he entered the patio, leaning on the doorframe.
"See?" Nancy chuckled, referring to the conversation they just had.
In between the half-forced laugh, Stacy observed the abruptly odd and quite a specific stare her brother watched Nancy with. Driven by both emotional exhaustion and the idea of her brother finding happiness, she stood up, optimizing the best possible plan.
"I promised Dustin to bring him some water but... I think you should talk with Nance about it. Maybe she'll give you some advice on how to be a better older sibling," Stacy claimed, patting her brother's back as she passed him by.
She felt his burning eyes on her back when she made her way towards the kitchen, almost as he was internally screaming "Really?!". Pouring the water into a glass, she jumped in the air the moment she felt a hand being placed on her back.
"Sorry for spooking you," Robin Buckley apologized, leaning over the counter and pointing at the opened back door, "Just look at them... feels like love problems are a reoccurring theme in our little bunch."
"Can't help it. He looks at her with those puppy eyes and I just had to fulfill my wingman duty," Stacy laughed, observing her brother gesturing nervously thorough his talk with Nancy.
"He's not the only one, who can't deal with his feeling," Robin sang, ducking her lips as she fidgeted with the ring she was wearing. "How's Eddie?"
Stacy scoffed with a theatrically offended face, "Oh, come on, Robin. Now's not the time."
"Listen, Stacy. Whether it's romantic or not you're worried about him a-and I don't blame you! I mean, kinda I do, he's like, super-weird sometimes, and I've never seen you interested in someone other than Matthew Broderick from WarGames, although I think this movie fundamentally sucks..."
"Robin," Stacy chuckled at her rambling, shaking her head. "I get your point. And if it'll let you sleep tonight — of course I'm worried about Eddie. It's just..." she stopped herself, grabbing the glass she was holding with both of her hands.
"I know you are. You don't just punch a jock for a random person," Robin cheered quietly, but realizing she interrupted Stacy, she whispered "Sorry."
"I'm scared of leaving you all, even for a short while," Stacy admitted, looking down at her hands. "And now that Max is..."
"Hey, hey, hey, hey... Stace," Robin panicked, placing her hands on her friend's arms to stop her obtrusive thoughts. "Me and Nancy are going to the facility where they keep that Creel guy. We'll find out how he survived and hopefully we can apply that to Max, who'll be staying with Steve and the kids... And someone needs to check on our runaway, so..."
"I don't think Steve will be fine with it," Stacy chuckled, keeping in mind how he complained about being the babysitter for today. One more day and he would surely needed a break.
"He asked me to tell you this," Robin blabbered out. "We were talking about the conversation you and Eddie had over the radio and..."
"Geez, it was really nothing..."
"It was sweet, Stacy!" she argued, throwing her hands in the air. "So sweet, in fact, that dingus needed a pep talk to get out of that basement and talk to you!"
"So you say I sabotaged his plan?" Stacy raised up one of her eyebrows.
"Totally... Jesus, look at him!" Robin exclaimed, pointing at Steve, who was now describing something to Nancy, using his hands a bit excessively to illustrate it. "Like a child in the fog!"
Stacy smirked, biting her thumb as she repeated her words from before, "Siblings things."
Not long after the interaction with Robin, Stacy returned to the basement, getting scolded by Dustin for her taking thirty minutes to bring him a plain glass of water. As an apology, she suggested she could be the one, who went on a Max watch first. Re-reading Chrissy's diary as the boys fell asleep, Stacy tried finding any further connection, a link, anything that could possibly extract Vecna's scheme. Later, when Robin, Steve and Nancy came down, they brainstormed to the extend. Stacy exhaustingly laid down on one of the couches, immediately falling asleep.
The next day brought no peace to the crew, as they splinted up once again. Therefore, Stacy was now leaving her car on the driver of Reefer Rick's house, making her way towards the little shack.
Carefully, not to frighten Eddie, she opened the door, saying, "It's me. It's Stacy."
"I know," a bland voice reached her ears. Turning her head to the left, she noticed Eddie, sitting on the floor, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket. "Your car keys make that funky sound when you walk," he explained imitating with his hand the way the metal swung.
Stacy smiled, approaching him slowly, "You all good here?"
"As good as a wanted man can be," he answered, winking at her to ease her mind. From the look on her face he knew she was troubled.
"C'mon, you know what I meant," Stacy chuckled. Kneeling down, she placed her hands over his knees, continuing, "Do you need any food? Music? Clothes?"
As she listed out, Eddie raised his deep brown eyes, shaking his head, "For now just you staying a bit longer."
"Can do that," the girl smirked, shifting herself to sit beside him.
Raising one of his arm, he wrapped one side of the blanket over Stacy which resulted in her leaning closer as her chin found its way to rest on his shoulder. The silence surrounded them, although it was unlike any previous. It was comforting, almost vocalizing their gladness of seeing each other, safe. Even if it was only from the surface level.
"Y'know," Eddie started, a smirk entering his tired face. "You should've told me you fought with outer dimensional monsters and shit. That would've explained why Miss Hawkins' such a badass," he chuckled, noticing her batting her eyes at him.
"Yeah, and you'd believe me?"
Eddie adjusted his position, making a dramatic expression, "You undermine the mental capacity of your local Dungeon Master? Shame on you, darling."
The way the last word rolled out his mouth resulted in a subconscious smile, spread widely across Stacy's face. He had never called her that before.
"All I'm saying is that those things are gravely fucked up," she proclaimed, reaching out for the Walkman she lend him that was now placed in his lap. Biting her lip, she changed the subject, asking, "Mixtape review?"
"To little thrash metal, too much punk and new wave," he shrugged, failing to keep up a serious expression.
"There's literally one Billy Idol song... and maybe a few the Cure things but it's not too much," she disagreed, crossing her arms.
Eddie smirked, suddenly feeling nostalgic. This little bicker brought him the ideal amount of sentimental peace he needed at that moment.
"I missed you," he admitted quietly, as if he was unsure whether saying this out loud would be a rightful choice.
"I missed you, too," Stacy whispered. He failed to notice, but the stare with which she cherished his features was soaked with excessive share of care and affection. "So much, in fact, even my socially awkward brother noticed," she confessed as her right hand traveled to close him in a hug.
"You say so?" Eddie asked, although he wasn't sure it was him, who was speaking. He could've sworn his cheeks were the color of a ripe tomato in the middle of the summer.
"Mhm," Stacy murmured, her head now plastered to his chest. "I missed our talks, I missed you rambling about DnD and I missed you ripping on your guitar..."
"Hey!" he called in dramatic indignation.
"I meant that as a compliment," she argued, her eyes squinted as she looked up at him.
"Just admit you're bullying me," he joked, his arms now around her waist.
"Never ever in a million years would I do that," Stacy pouted childishly. "You're my favorite metalhead. It'd be a crime to bully you."
"I can't take so much flattery, darling," Eddie chuckled, playfully flicking her nose.
"Then don't call me darling because apparently I can't take that," she replied in the same manner, being pulled closer by him.
"Well, on the other hand..." he wondered, his eyes high above her reach.
"You are something else, Munson," Stacy shook her head, standing up.
She didn't want to if she had to be frank. It was something that was inevitable when regarding their current state. She knew if it went on like that, she would've felt the emerging urge to do something that could only disturb the state of things. After all, she needed to put all of her focus on thinking how to stop Vecna. Anything else could only clutter her mind — therefore allowing her emotions to take over was the worst decision possible.
Contradictory, Eddie felt his heart sinking deep down in his chest as he watched her breaking their embrace and beginning to pick up the empty boxes of cereals he had threw on the ground. He wished he could hold her a little while longer. He wished they could stay exactly like that, without any care in the world. There didn't even needed to be any physical touch involved; they could just sit next to each other. Just the two of them.
"When all this is over you have to teach me how to play DnD," Stacy offered in the midst of her cleaning. "I think I could be a pretty cool goblin princess."
How couldn't he fall for her? She was everything he could've possibly wanted.
"Whatevers your wish, goblin princess," he murmured, unable to stop his lips from curling into a wide smile.
Stacy needed to return back to the Wheeler's house as the sun began to disappear on the horizon. Especially after Steve had informed her over the walkie-talkie that Max had been miraculously saved from Vecna. Music was what was her remedy. Scared beyond the realms of death, Stacy and the others found themselves back in the basement, trying to come up with a plan that this time could have a higher proximity of working out. Exactly that was the major factor in the team falling asleep almost as they stood. The exhaustion overtook them, making Nancy the only person, who woke up early the day next.
It was Eddie's voice blasting through walkie-talkie that caused Stacy to get up. As the journalist complained all of them are busy, the other girl volunteered to pick up food (and beer) the runaway asked for. Vanishing around the noon, Stacy found herself half of an hour later in the grocery store. Denim jacked wrapped around her waist, her hair in a ponytail to hide the grease that formed on them due to not washing them for three days, Stacy walked into one of the aisles, grabbing canned soups into her basket.
"Look who it is!"
She could've recognized this venomous tone even through the walls of deep sleep.
"Debbie… hi," Stacy greeted the girl, taking a proper look at her just now.
Black dress, hair parted, properly brushed. Behind her two cheerleaders, whose faces were red from crying.
Fuck, she scolded herself in her thoughts.
"You are the fakest bitch I've ever met, Harrington. A fucking snake," Debbie Donoghue hissed, taking three confident steps forward.
"Look, I'm terribly sorry I..."
"...didn't show up on Chrissy's funeral? And what else? You'd try explaining yourself? Oh, Debbie, I'm sorry, I was shagging her murdered and I completely forgot!" Debbie mocked her, agitation dripping from her words.
"I..."
"Oh, shut up! You knew damn well she was found in his trailer and you didn't tell us!"
"He didn't do it," Stacy breathed out, not realizing she began to tremble.
"He didn't— Are you fucking insane, Stacy?! With all of the evidence you're telling me he didn't killed Chrissy?!" Debbie spitted out, getting dangerously close to the other girl. "It's a relief Jason found out where he's hiding... and you know what? He's going to do the same to that freak to what he did to Chrissy..."
She sounded malicious. Sinister. Meaning every single word she spat out, Debbie dig her long nails into Stacy's shoulder.
The girl felt no pain, whatsoever. All she could focus on were the cheerleader's threats and promises, leading her thoughts to spiral. Jason found out where Eddie was hiding...
"Debbie, there's a myriad things you have no idea of..."
Stacy was never let to finish as her head abruptly turned to the side. It took a few seconds for her to realize it was due to Debbie's swift stroke, aimed directly at her nose. Before she could deflect another punch, she bounced off of one of the shelves. Her nostrils began to feel full, burning with a scorching liquid that leaked out of her nose the second she got back up on her feet. In amok, Stacy heard one of the cheerleader's telling Debbie to stop, and the other grabbing her hand. Inaudible shriek of complains left her mouth as she was not finished with letting her anger out on the now bleeding girl.
Taking the moment of tantrum to her advantage, Stacy rapidly collected herself, abandoning her shopping cart.
"You and your sick boyfriend deserve to burn in hell! You hear me, Stacy?! You deserve to fucking burn!"
Debbie's yells did not stop Stacy from running outside and starting her car. He threats were meaningless in comparison to what was bound to happen. Her head spun due to the injuries she endured which made it unable for her to drive in a straight line. Yet, she couldn't focus on anything else than to driving back to Eddie's hideout. Getting there before Jason and the jocks became her priority; so much so she couldn't hear the walkie-talkie constantly going on and off.
It had already gone dark when she ran off her red Chevrolet, making it unable for her to see a tree trunk pointing out of the front yard. Tripping down, she could've felt her jeans ripping open around her left knee and her hands being scratched due to her fall. But she didn't care. The voices inside Reefer Rick's house made it clear she needed to hurry. Running into the house, she scanned through every room, noticing the back door being open. Her heart palpitated so loudly it was almost audible. Like a bell in a destined tower, it was the only thing she could hear besides her rushing blood.
"Carver!" Stacy screamed the moment she noticed the teenager's silhouette in the midst of the darkened backyard. "Carver, stop!"
"My, my, isn't that Stacy Harrington?!" Jason yelled from afar, nodding to his friend to keep going.
"Carver, you don't understand! You all don't understand!" She was terrified. Tormented by the possibility of the jocks getting to Eddie, she ran out of the house in hopes of, at least, buying more time for Eddie to escape.
"It's always you getting tangled up with the things you shouldn't be a part of, huh?!" the jock called, laughing in her face.
Shaking their heads, Jason and his friend Patrick didn't wait any longer before they headed out to the boathouse.
Frantically calling their names, Stacy wanted to run towards them, to stop her. However, before her feet had the chance to lift off the ground, she felt her hand being pulled into a tight, brutal grip.
"Debbie did a good one on you," another mocking tone growled. This time, it was Donoghue's boyfriend judging Stacy's facial injuries.
"Let me go, you bastard!" she screamed, corrupted by hysteria that overtook her entirely.
"Hey, freak! Where do you think you're going?!" the muffled call of Jason caused her to wanting to wiggle out of Debbie's boyfriend's hold even harder.
"I said, let me go!" she yelled, however, her attempts brought no success.
However, giving up was not an option. It wasn't even a possibility. She knew in order to stop Eddie from getting hurt, she needed to gather all of her strength.
And so she did.
When the jock grasping her called her names that were meant to humiliate her, she took a deep breath and with all of her brawn, she head-butted his face.
"You bitch!" he called, grabbing his bleeding nose as he backed down.
"Tell Debbie it was eye for an eye," Stacy hissed, running down to the bay of the Lover's Lake.
The sight she encountered, however, was worse than her most disturbing nightmares. Patrick's body was high up in the air when Jason and Eddie screamed in unison trying to keep themselves on the water surface. The boat was turned on its back, making it unable for them to even try to rescue themselves.
But then, it took even more of a devilish turn.
Patrick's bones snapped so noisily it was ear-piercing. His jaw dislocated, his limbs deformed, the boy suddenly fell down, sinking in the cold water.
Jason's scream was thundering; pure terror was covered by rowdy rasp as his throat gave him a sign it couldn't let out any louder noise. A moment after that, he disappeared, diving in search of Patrick's body.
Although they were so drastically far away, Stacy could've tell Eddie was in shock so taunting it took him some time to even comprehend what was happening. She wants to scream, to tell him to run, to escape, however, no words were coming out of her mouth.
She fell down on her knees, feeling her vital forces leaving her psyche. Not being aware of Debbie boyfriend's presence, she let out a reverberant sob.
"We have to call the ambulance," the teenager whispered, sounding awfully horror-stricken. "Do you hear me, Stacy? We need to call for help!"
However, in a state of a hazy mind, the girl stood back up, taming her tears and unsteady breath. Appearing deadly disconnected from what had just happened, she stared blankly at Eddie, who was making his escape.
"I told you, you don't understand..." she murmured. "You don't..."

Imagine reader having a bad day. She just rants and raves and doesn’t shut the hell up.
Karl is busy trying to work and reader is starting to get on his nerves because he can’t concentrate (while finding her rants low-key cute).
In a moment of madness + frustration, he pushes back his chair, storms over to her and kisses her. He’ll say he did it to shut you up but the really he’s been wanting to do that for a long time.
Need me a guy like this.
You had been ranting for who knows how long. Today, it felt like everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. And, sadly, the only person who was available for you to vent to was Karl. Beloved Karl. It wasn't often he let you interrupt his work so you can talk, let alone complain about things he found rather silly. He felt bad for you due to the frustrated state you were in which is why he agreed in the first place. Now, he's barely gotten any work done as you both sat in his office space.
"And then, this lady at the village looked at me weird. She just kept staring and she scrunched her nose at me as if she was looking at something revolting!", you had been pacing back in forth during the whole rant. Karl was trying to draw out some blueprints, but seeing you pace around back and forth in the corner of his eye kept interrupting. It wasn't as distracting as your words though. You were so flustered and aggravated. While he was growing aggravated as well, he began to find your anger cute.
"And guess what? When I went to the Duke today, HE DIDN'T HAVE WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! CAN YOU BEIEVE IT?", you threw your arms up in disbelief. "Nope.", he responds with a sigh as he made a tiny adjustment to his barely progressed work. "I was looking for some specific berries. Luckily, the book Donna gave me about the local wildlife said I could find them on bushes. I found the bushes, but there weren't any berries! They're out of season!", you continued to complain, not even checking to see if he was a actively listening. You just kept on until it was all finally of your chest.
"And after that, I tried to fix that chair with the broken leg in the bedroom, and I broke it more! How did I even do that!?', your pacing began to pick up speed. "No clue.", he says bluntly. The pencil he was holding in his hand was about to snap under the pressure he was gripping it with. His other hand was place on his head, propping it up as he rested his elbow on his desk with a growing pissed expression.
"And one of the lycans had a bad cut, so I tried to give it some bandages and the damn thing nearly bit my hand off! I thought you trained those things!", the image of you trying to help an injured lycan and failing drifted around in his head. It was almost as funny as it was distracting. He was fighting a smile that was creeping up on his face. While he found your efforts to help the creature cute, he was still frustrated that his time was seemingly being wasted.
He sat up straight and took a good hard look at the blueprint in front of him. The first picture was barely sketched out. It was covered in eraser shavings from the amount of times he messed up. And, upon further inspection, he could see where he was writing a description for something and accidentally began to write down things that you were saying as he struggled to multitask. The sight of this made his brow furrow and his jaw clench. All of his efforts for his work for the past unknown amount of time were useless.
"And Donna invited me to another tea party, but I can't deal with Angie. I mean I know Donna loves her, but that piece of plastic is fucking nuts and it makes me so uncomfortable.", you continued to rant about the doll. He didn't know if he wanted to correct you and tell you that she's porcelain and not plastic. All he knew is how much he missed the silence of his office now. Although, there was something about you running around in circles while wildly throwing your hands up in frustrated fits of rage that he found adorable.
Finally, he knew he had enough. He knew he had to do something if he wanted to finish his work. He sighed and put down the pencil he was using to draw out some blueprints. He looks over, preparing to tell you to shut up, but he couldn't help but get distracted. You were talking with your hands. And, you kept running your hands through your hair, making messier and messier as your pointless ranting went on and on.
He didn't even notice he was staring until you made eye contact with him and stopped. 'Are you listening to me?" "Yes.", he lies. And with that, your pacing continues as you spout more and more bullshit. His feelings confused him. You were keeping him from being productive and nothing you were upset about had any real long term meaning, but you just looked so cute when you're all riled up. His work laid on his desk, practically screaming to be finished.
"Oh right...", he turned back to his work in hopes to finish it. "And Alcina said I need to think more about what I wear because I care more about how comfortable my clothes are compared to how they look. Isn't that just bitchy?" "Mhm." The mentioning of her caused his eyes to roll. "Please just stop please just stop please just stop please just stop", repeated through his head as he wished for peace and quiet. He accidentally broke his pencil in his tense and clutched hands.
Finally, he had had enough. He threw the broken pencil pieces to the ground and stood up, shoving his chair to the side before marching over towards you. You didn't even notice until his fingers were tangled in your hair, turning your face towards his. He then pulls you into a kiss that lasts a couple of seconds. Enough for him to release some of his energy in a not so aggressive way while also getting you to be quiet for a bit.
You were speechless when he pulled away and he was thankful. "What was that for?', you ask as you smile and grab him by the coat sleeve, tugging on it. He pulls it out of your grasp, but not too aggressively. "Just wanted to shut you up for a goddamn second." "Oh yeah? Well what if I keep talking?" A mischievous smile spreads on your face as he looks back at you with a growing frustrated expression, but you could spot a small smile curling upwards from the corners of his mouth. "Nope.", he picks you up and throws you over his shoulder, carrying you out the door. Once you're out the door, he puts you down. "Don't interrupt my works again. And, for the love of god, stop caring so much about what other people think. " You open your mouth to object to his decision on kicking you out, but he kisses you again. This time, you can feel him smile into it. He truly just wanted to kiss you again. "Now, leave me alone for a second. When I'm finished, you can tell me about all the other pointless bullshit from your day." And with that, he closes the door. While having you away is less distracting, he still can't help but think of you as he works, the taste of you still lingering on his lips. "Better get this done fast."

My more detailed thoughts on the Leak/spoilers as I read them:
[don’t read if you don’t wanna know I just want to vent somewhere while reading through them]
(I decided to post this after all for those who couldn’t read the scripts before they were privated and maybe want to know more)
the line in episode 34 where MC’s partner says they don’t understand how people expect men and women to smell like different things is such a Will thing I just love him sm
Wowsers they’re shoving Kelly down our throats, I think they really are trying to push her as the next Chelsea or something she’s EVERYWHERE in chapter 34 its kinda annoying. Like she seems lovely but FB really set her up stalking mc
ALSO WILL + MC HIDEAWAY SCENE????? HSJLKSJDFKS YES PLEASE
Will CAN pick MC at the recoupling sobbing crying throwing up but his speech should be better, he poured his heart out for thabi then we get “i don’t know what i’m doing or where i’m going but i like the ride” 🙄
AWWW Will was nervous about picking MC even though it was a guys day (also its an exclusive text for him, the others are nervous too but written differently)
OH MY GOD if you aren’t with Will he picks Tiffany? Plot twist and here we all were thinking it was Kelly (but Will has a prom outfit and Tiff and Kelly don’t interesting)
Oh god yeah Tom isn’t for me, you’ve known each other like 3 days and you pop an I love you during a recoupling speech? gives me the ick
Kelly gets eliminated??? Over Angie (no offense I ADORE Angie but she’s been single for 3 recouplings??) People are gonna be PISSED
WILL (?) TALKING ABOUT UNCLOGGING THE SINK AGAIN AND ASKING IF IT WAS ROMANTIC FOR MC JKLDSJKFDLS BYE
The omelette/scramble talk sounds like Will too, (Pretty sure it is Will exclusive seeing MC call him Will directly) talking about the slow burn and how lots of people don’t like waiting around 😭 I’m falling in love
“Will finds James comforting. He thinks of him as a dad.” 💀
The game remembers that Will is ticklish I love that
HAHA Will being worried about another boy with tats
Youcef’s “Maybe I made a mistake” talking about Dylan I’m dying
Oliver is turning my head a little, might need to run a second game for him buuut I still feel weird that Will is the only dom guy (and even then I get the feeling Will is a switch) every guy this season is subby which isn’t totally bad I love myself a good switch
OLIVER HAS A PET CAT NAMED DANDELION I LOVE HIM
LOL poor Anj she finally see’s a guy she's interested in and MC gets voted to go on the dates instead of her, also yet again we go on another date where we can’t pick our date sigh LET ME GO ON A DATE WITH MY CHOSEN PARTNER
Will better not get up to something while I’m on a date AGAIN or I’m gonna slap someone probably him
Not Dylan saying artist have unsteady jobs, which is so funny bc I headcanon my mc as being a successful artist who finally got her big break and is selling her art for a lot of money like babe she probably makes more money than you
Dylan is literally just Jakub 2.0
Dylan “back at home they call me vanilla ice cream” MC “Because it's bland and full of low expectations?” 💀 💀 💀 💀
Oliver Oliver Oliver I love him he’s turning my head so much its spinning also towel daddy is no daddy he’s subby and that’s okay
SITTING ON WILL’S LAP SITTING ON WILL’S LAP SITTING ON WILL’S-
People seriously thought Will would cheat on us when its Dylan being a dickhead and saying WE cheated my heart’s going to break
AND THEY FIND OUT ABOUT YOU KISSING HAZEEM HAHAHAHA but I wasn’t with Will when it happened so he can’t be mad at me for it? He had just pied me off for Thabi and my mc was so confused 🥺
During the Dylan argument Will seems to have his own separate dialogue in which he opens up a bit more and I like that there’s multiple outcomes like? Will can dump you or you can work things out from what I can tell which is nice its giving me ON vibes except in this we’re Noah??? and someone is trying to test our relationship??? lol
“I had a miserable night without you too. As lonely as the moon hanging in the empty sky above a mountaintop” WILL HAND IN MARRIAGE RIGHT NOW
“No one does this kind of crap to my girl. No one.” this is probably Bruno or all the LIs/Besties but this line right here. I love.
“We belong together now, you won’t get rid of me that easily!” 😭
MC gets to pick first at the final recoupling! Hee haw
Endgame options (as far as I can tell) are Angie, Bruno, James, Najuma, Youcef, Oliver, Tom, and Will?
Okay I skipped ahead to chapter 47 and Will YOU KINKY BASTARD I LOVE YOU he’s done it in airplanes, saunas, you name it
okay back to chapter 42 the way I screamed at the “you and Will are enjoying a lazy afternoon in the sun” AS I SHOULD’VE BEEN ALL DAMN SEASON
“It might have taken us a long time to find each other, but I'm glad we did." " feel like a fool for not coupling up with you sooner.” WILL 💍💍💍💍
Okay that dialogue is repeated with like everyone 😔
And that’s all that I live wrote as I was reading because I was getting tired and skimmed through the last few chapters, I didn’t even get to read chapter 48 😭💔 I hope it gets reposted somewhere
#I wasn't going to post this bc its long and rambley#but the scripts got privated so i thought some people might wanna know some details#if anyone has any questions in particular i'll try to answer them the best i can!#i did skim the last few chapters and didn't read 48 so idk everything though

So far AJ’s day, his first at this new job, had been predictably miserable. He figured that was sort of normal, kinda expected. He’d been his own boss, owner of his own little construction firm for years, so going back to being a manual labor grunt for someone else again was sure to feel like ten steps in the wrong direction. But working on a demo team for a bunch of girls? The women, the company that had put him out of business? That was turning out to be particularly soul-sucking and demeaning work. But, hey, a buck’s a buck and he needed as many of those as he could muster these days. His saving grace was, with a little effort keeping his head down, that he could remain faceless and anonymous and just do his work. The morning had been spent taking down some walls in the area of the building that was to be the new wing. He’d sat by himself for his meager lunch outside - his buddies, guys that used to work for him, were on another team entirely, at another site - and he had now this afternoon been asked to step into the doctor's office area to look at some venting. Privately, he leapt at the chance: maybe he’d be able to see Angie. Or, for that matter, catch a glimpse of - or even meet - that statuesque, brunette boss of hers, her friend Melissa...
He was in luck.
“Oh! H-hey, hun,” AJ said, acting surprised to bump into his girlfriend, Angie, as he turned the corner in the back hallway. He’d already checked out what he’d needed to see, looked at the thermostats, and had been sort of aimlessly drifting around, avoiding others, waiting for just this moment. He managed what he hoped was a casual smile. “Funny meeting you here haha,” he joked, wiping plaster dust from his forehead, “H-how’s the first day?”
At first, Angie looked surprised to see him, too - eyes widening. But she didn’t even give him a word of greeting before her eyes flashed, her smile grew into a grin, and she bit her lower lip. Looking behind herself, down the hall, checking if they’d be seen, she then suddenly grabbed him by the collar of his green, grime-covered t-shirt and pulled him aside. “Here, let’s go in here-“ she said, opening the door to a supply closet and yanking him into it. She shut the door behind them and flipped on a switch.
“Hey wow..!” AJ exclaimed, eyes immediately going wide in pleasant surprise, “Nice to see you too!”
The switch she had hit had turned on an overhead fluorescent, which was just flickering to life. “Shush,” she said, locking the door, “The last thing I need is someone to see us together.” She’d just gotten out of lunch, where all the office girls had assembled, crowded into the too-small breakroom for a welcome meeting. She’d had a few great little chats and was just really beginning to grasp what was going on here, what she was now part of. It was thrilling and her blood was still on fire from the excitement, the potential. Yes yes yes...female empowerment, sisters united, blah blah blah. But there was opportunity here for her.
She’d just been headed to her new temporary, makeshift desk in accounting when she ran into her, well, boyfriend. Though AJ was here doing some work for the construction company hired to renovate the building, she really didn’t want to be seen with him. Things were too big here, there was too much at stake for her to risk getting muddled down by, well, him. “I can’t be the girl dating the hired help,” she said, not smiling, but her heart still thumping.
“Hey, that hurt..!” AJ remarked, taken a bit aback by her bluntness but trying to laugh. Angie looked so good in her short, floral dress, boobs big and on display. “How’s the first day?” he repeated.
Angie faced AJ, mind still swimming with the excitement from the meeting and an electric, estrogen-fueled energy. “Eh, sort of chaotic, with all these new girls, there’s not enough space for us all until the new wing is ready,” she answered, looking him up and down. She’d seen him in his construction gear countless times before, but here - on the job, dirty, as a low-level grunt - he just looked so plebeian. And too tall. “I got to meet the doctor, this morning,” she said, feeling her eyes sparkle and the enthusiasm in her voice, “he’s sooo vulni…”
He’d heard that term before, and he knew how girls were all starting to like that: small, weak, vulnerable men. It had been why she’d had him stop going to the gym, eat less, get skinnier. He thought she liked it, though it never seemed as if it was quite enough for her; he was still tall and lanky, and he felt she’d actually like it if he was somehow smaller than her, shorter than her, weighed less than her. That was the fad, these days, and Angie was into it. But he’d never heard that weird tone in her voice when talking about another guy, not in all the months they’d been together. Here in the supply closet he felt the first pangs of jealousy, starting in his stomach, and it was envy for Angie’s new boss. Not because he was successful, a doctor, and was her superior here (though Ang probably loved that too), but because he was so “vulni” . As he watched her face, seeing how she talked about this guy, the sensation grew heavier, and worked its way up to his throat.
“He was hiding, totally hiding, in his office. But I went in and met him,” she said, “he looked like a kid sitting at a big-boy desk. He was afraid to stand up in front of me, but I bet I’d be taller than him in my heels…”
There it is, AJ thought.
“Your friend Melissa probably has him by more than a foot, then,” AJ blurted, smiling but speaking before thinking and immediately regretting it as Angie’s eyes narrowed, analyzing him. His grin disappeared as her expression changed.
“Yeaaaaah...have you noticed?” she continued, still watching his face, “a lot of the girls here are tall. They’re all hot…”
Smart enough at least for this moment, AJ held his tongue. Saying too much would just dig him deeper into the hole that he was apparently already in.
Angie still looked at her boyfriend of these many months, her smile crooked, and considered him. He’d always felt like she could read his mind, and seemed to be doing it now. She knew what he wanted. “Take off your shirt,” she instructed, hands on her wide hips.
Without as much as a thought, AJ was peeling himself out of his dusty work tee, revealing his trim, lean torso, his ink. Angie’s eyes immediately drifted from his still-defined abs, up his chest and went to the new tattoo on his throat, her name: “Angie Wade”. She reached out and gently caressed it.
“Yeah, he’s surrounded by women here, pretty women,” she continued, once again talking about this dude that AJ was starting to like less and less, “Lots of them are taller than him, walking around in their pumps, their high wedge sandals.” Her hand drifted up to cup the right side of his face, tenderly, watching how her words affected him. “They’re all ditzes, but they adore him,” she said, her expression still hard for him to read, “Imagine that? Imagine being surrounded by huge, brainless bimbos that all love and adore you and just want to get into your pants? I’ll bet he loves it. God that’s so hot.”
AJ, still knowing he shouldn’t say a word, just watched her as she looked at him. Despite his rising jealousy - what kind of girlfriend talks about another guy like this? - he was starting to feel himself hardening between his legs. He had no idea what she was thinking, what she was doing (or why she’d had him take off his shirt) but there were gears turning in her head, for sure.
“And,” she pressed on, “his office is smaller - a lot smaller - than hers. The way she was talking today, you’d have trouble knowing exactly who was in charge, here...” Angie’s left hand had settled behind AJ’s shaved head, holding it, and her right was now resting lightly on his chest. The feel of her soft palm on his shaved skin was exciting him. “...But I’m going to find out. There’s something going on under the surface here, something big. Here. Sit-“
At that, Angie pushed his chest, forcing him to half-sit back on the low shelving unit behind him. He knocked over a couple reams of paper towels, but was left with his eyes at just about boob-level.
She stepped in close.
“Lunch, with all the girls,” Angie continued, smiling again as his eyes settled right into her cleavage, “There was so much estrogen in the air, what with all the laughing and rah-rah cheering for this new place. Most of the girls here are morons, but damn if they aren’t hooked up to the right train, as things are going to be changing.”
She was talking almost to herself, he thought, while he knew he was being so passively quiet. He struggled to think of something to say. “Wow, Ang,” AJ finally spoke, “your tits look really big today.”
Angie chuckled, took a casually deep breath for him.”He’s a boob-guy, just like you,” she mused, reveling in the gift of her naturally big, full bosom, with its perfect, milky skin, “so, yeah, I wanted show them off…think he’ll like me?”
The jealousy continued to sit with him, inside his throat, tightening.
“Well, uh, y-yeah, of course,” he managed, figuring he should be supportive rather than risking her ire by sounding indignant. “Wh-what are they going to have you doing?”
“I’m going to be working with Kathy, this lady reassigned from some pharmaceutical company, to help run the practice’s accounting,” Angie continued, “Technically she’s my immediate boss, for the time being. But it’s okay, for now. She actually sounds like she has half a brain.” Her hand went up onto the side of his head, stroked his scalp leisurely, kept his gaze focused where she wanted it. “If I play my cards right, I’ll get hooked up doing financials for this study, with all the money coming in from the grants,” she said, her tone aggressively self-assured, “I’m going to be on it, totally in the right place, when things go down. Meet the right people, rise up the ranks, make more and more money…”
This was...yikes, wow...really turning him on. Secretly he loved hearing Angie embellish her own ego like this. Her boastful narcissism - she was constantly convinced that she was the smartest person in the room - was just always so hot to him. And he wasn’t nearly sure what she was talking about, but he loved how excited she sounded and how, in the face of his recent career troubles, how powerful she wanted to become. When had he gotten this way? When had he gotten to be such a junkie for the, well, submissive thrill he felt hearing a woman talk about being smart, successful...superior?
“Yeah, well, t-they’ve given me some responsibility too…” he found himself saying, maybe out of a reflexive knee-jerk reaction, some male pride bubbling weakly to the surface, “They’re having us tear out the old HVAC systems, and have me inspecting the venting, some of the thermostats...” Angie was letting him talk, possessively stroking his head, so he just continued. “Supposedly they’re putting in a new central one that’ll handle the whole building,” he explained, “be able to put some sort of aromatherapy into it. Weird, huh?”
“Aromatherapy, huh?” Angie asked, her interest piqued - and betrayed by a new purr, “In the air-conditioning?” She continued to pet his head, and drew in a little closer to him as she thought to herself. “Can you find out...any more about that for me?“
“Oh, uh, yeah...sure…” he agreed, though not really sure what he could do. Lots of this project seemed so under-wraps, at least from the guys. He hadn’t laid eyes on much in the way of blueprints or tech sheets or whatever.
“Good boy…” she praised, speaking plainly, “pull down your pants.”
Suddenly, AJ’s heart leapt. Was he about to get some?? Here in a storage closet?? Ha he’d take anything he could get these days, he thought to himself as he clumsily unzipped his thick, loose-fit utility pants, started to pull them down.
“B-boxers too?” he asked.
“Sure,” Angie allowed, and in a moment they were down at his knees, too. His erection already stood proud; of that he was glad. He wanted her to know how much she turned him on. But, then he thought - how had they gotten here? Didn’t she used to be the swooning drama nerd in high school, who’d barely been on his radar? The one who used to have the crush on him??
“A-Angie…?” he began.
“Shush, quiet,” she said, “grab your cock.”
“Wh-what?” he stammered, knowing exactly what she wanted him to do, “n-no I’m not going to, like, j-jerk off here in a cl-“
“Yes you will,” she stated, her confidence only making him harder, as she physically took his hand and planted it on his erection, balling it into a fist around his turgid shaft, “because you're submissive, just like him, and you’ll do exactly what I say...just like he will, some day.”
”I-I’m n-not,,,’submissive’..!” he bristled, male ego once again raising its battered head in the face of insult and jealousy. Like, what did she mean, ‘just like he will’??
“Okay sure, you’re not submissive,” she chuckled, laughing unpleasantly at his little snit, “prove it.”
With that, Angie took AJ’s full head between her hands, palms on his face and manicured fingers stretching back behind his head, and faced him solidly into her plumply bulging cleavage.
“Now stroke,” she directed, and to his own aghast he couldn’t help but obey. He’d been conditioned, over these past months, helpless when confronted by her, powerless to defy her will...especially when she used her tits. What was wrong with him??? In his hand, with his eyes plastered on the pale, soft flesh of her big breasts, his cock suddenly became even more needy, ached immediately for release. He groaned, both in spleen at himself and this crippling arousal.
She laughed again. “Not submissive, hm?” she purred, “Look at you. You're totally dominated by women. You’re working for women now, you do everything women tell you to do. At the job here, in bed with me…”
”hey..!” he began to protest, eyes rising for the moment, looking for hers, “I thought you liked-”
“Oh, I do, we all do,” she capitulated, shaking her hair over her shoulder with a toss of her head, redirecting his gaze back to her chest, “we love when the roles start reversing like this. Like you, getting to be my little bitch.”
“h-h-heyyyy…” he began to protest, but his voice faded, most of his fight lost between her E-cups.
“Aww, don’t feel badly,” she said, “I’ve been reading up on this. I really think men in general are getting more submissive, turning more beta, just watching as women take charge more. The doctor here included. Look what he’s done - or let happen. This whole place is run by girls.”
“H-h-huh…” AJ stammered dumbly, not even realizing he’d fallen into a rhythm, stroking himself, staring at Angie’s breasts.
“This is my chance, to get in, to take my piece,” she pronounced, ego swelling her bosom like a deep breath, “I’m so fucking alpha, I could run this place.”
”oh, uh, y-yeah..?” he spoke, bewitched and befuddled by every ripple and jiggle under her skin.
“You men like me to be in charge, don’t you? The thought of a woman boss?” she pressed, “You’d all never admit it but it gets you excited, how the women here - everywhere - are really the ones running the show, that any male authority is really just a thin facade, ready to be, like, cracked.”
“Oh my god Angie,” AJ moaned, now in the full grip of arousal, starting to pump himself with more abandon as Angie’s words struck chords with him neither he nor she had yet heard. Angie was experimenting, learning.
“Women have always been the ones to take up responsibilities, accept them and take them on, when men fail. We’ve been getting more able, more and more competent, while you all just, like, get lazy and dumb and shrink away,” she said, watching how his eyes were glazing over, his face going slack. Still he stared at her tits. “And you know the best part? It fucking turns you all on. You like getting weaker, losing responsibility and authority, your lives getting smaller as ours get bigger…”
“J-j-jesus Angie yes,” he stammered, mouth fully gaping now, his whole body shaking as he jacked off to her, to this vision of women.
She pulled his face closer. “Look at my tits. Look how big they are, look how deep and dark my cleavage is,” she commanded, “I’ll bet you wish you could shrink down and sink in there. Just become a little man and live between your girlfriend’s tits.”
“A-Angie n-n-n-...” he began, trying to deny but unable to come up with a sentence, in the face of the shame.
“Shhh, I know. I know what kind of porn guys have been into these days. I know what kind you’ve been into,” she said, “the shrinking, the bodybuilders, the giantesses…”
“unnh...unnnh…” he grunted, vision starting to close in, laser focused between her tits.
“And our breasts,” she continued, but knowing she had him close, “When did you become so obsessed with breasts? Even when you sleep, they’re there, aren’t they? Vision of my breasts swim in your head all night long.”
It was true. Her boobs were all he dreamed about. He moaned in forbearance and began to shudder.
“It’s true,” she said, her words echoing his thoughts, right as his climax began to crest, “It totally is. It’s why you wake up in the middle of the night sucking your own thumb. You want to be our fucking babies…”.
That was it, that was the final blow, and AJ could take no more. He groaned, finally closed his eyes, and came. His body lurched, shook, and cum shot up out of his cock.
Angie backed off, an inch, his head still in her hands. “There you go,” she said, plainly, “don’t get it on my dress.”
AJ, for himself, opened his eyes again, now jerking himself through it while staring into her tits again. He didn’t want to get it on her dress, so he pointed it back at himself, soiling his hand, his belly, his thigh.
“That’s right, get it all out,” she employed, patience now starting to wear thin, a new edge sharpening her voice. Though his climax still had him, she released his head, backing off another step. Her hands went to her top, pulling her neckline now more fully up over her breasts. “Finish up…”
AJ groaned in distress, his orgasm waning but ruined in its final moments. He just wanted those tits to bury himself into, and she was stepping away...
“Mommy’s got to go,” she said, finally, looking down at herself, shimmying herself back into some semblance of modesty, “Now, Aaron. This is it for us. I’m through.”
“w-w-wait whut?” AJ sputtered, confused, as his cock - just starting to deflate - leaked its final jisms onto his hand.
“I said I’m, like, done,” Angie said, straightly, looking down at him again, “You’ve been the perfect toy to practice on, and I’d be lying if I said it hadn’t been fun. But I’m moving on, to bigger and better things.”
“Wait, no…” AJ managed, sobering quickly in shock but still struggling to grasp what was happening, “...are you...b-breaking up with me?”
“Yep,” she said, no hint of empathy softening her words as she watched the guy she’d lived with, the man she’d broken, start to shake. He was flailing, looking down at himself, at his mess, unsure what to do.
She reached out, grabbed a team of paper towels, and tossed it at him. “Here, clean up.”
“Angie, wait,” he tried, pulling several sheets out and starting to wipe himself down. She can’t do this, not now..! he thought, What will I do? Where will I live?? He had to stop her. “Let’s-“
“No, I’m done waiting,” she stopped him, turning away, hand already reaching for the door, grabbing the handle. An image of Melissa, her last Instagram post, flashed into her mind, made Angie seethe. “I’ve got things to do.”
And then he was alone.

OH ALSO-
MEDICINE and LION with Strum perhaps? 👉👈
-@fictionallyinparadise
Hiii bestieeeeee!! I'm. LATE AF but here I am and I hope this lengthy teeth-rotting insight of my mind is worth the wait <;3c
MEDICINE - How do you and your f/o take care of each other when you're not feeling well? This could apply to a physical illness (whether it be the common cold or a chronic illness) or mental illness.
Silvia is constantly wearing her nurse outfit (and not the sexy one, she ain't build like that sdfghj) with Sturm being...,., well,.. Sturm.
I mean, that man literally charges through fucking walls head first, he gets into fights with the other Soldaten, his engine tends to overheat leaving burn marks where the metal connects to his body and not to mention the state his arms are, like... Unacceptable. Embarrassing even.
So, as you can image, she's been tending to his wounds since after the day they met, stitching up gashes, changing bandages, removing shards of various materials (mostly glass and metal) from his flesh and so on. Sometimes it's more about ordinary things, like putting a band-aid on a scratch (the kind kids would wear ofc) or rubbing some of that First Aid Med on a cut, what matters to her is to take care of her sweet mechanical teddy bear at the best of her skills. And to have her hands constantly on him too, ofc sdfghj.
Not that he minds that, actually he's become known inside the Factory for pawing at her door at almost every hour of the day for the most insignificant of reasons to have a chance to have her hands anywhere near and/or on his body (i will not apologize for the phrasing sdfghk) <;3c
When it comes to turn the tables though, Sturm is Silvia's emotional support undead: as much as unbelievable y'all might find it, Sturm has learnt to recognize tune shifts and other subtle variations in Silvia's voice in order to understand her state of mind, same thing for her gait. It takes the smallest of changes for him to pick up something is wrong™ with her and come to her aid.
He will get as close to her as possible without hurting her and just. Stays there. He's a surprisingly good listener and he won't leave until Silvia has assured him everything is ok or until she's finished venting. Or crying. Mostly the latter, and while perhaps Sturm isn't exactly built for finding comforting words, he sure gives the best hugs and he's there for her whenever she needs it, and she doesn't even have to ask. Not that she's actually able to do that without eating her own heart out first, but when it happens it usually leads to a very fluffy-touchy-mushy cuddle pile that is indeed a cure for all ills....
Come on, don't look at me like that, it ain't my fault we want each other in the way of flesh wanting to knit itself together over a wound, ya know??? [from These Violent Delights by Micah Nemerever]
LION - Was it hard to get close to your f/o? Did they have a difficult time opening up to you?
Honestly? Easiest thing ever for Sturm.
He literally started following Silvia around like a lost puppy looking for much coveted attention the moment she treated him with the same kindness she's shown to all the other Soldaten <3c (← lies and slander, Sturm def got waaaaaaaaay more pats and cuddles than the others jhgfasdsfdgh).
On the other hand though? It's been an absolute challenge for her.
Like between the danger of being torn to shreds for standing too close to his blades, the unabating efforts to find a way of communication, her own issues with showing vulnerability as she could no longer deny the feelings she has for him and most of all having such feeling be reciprocated, Silvia has been faced with an inner conflict the size of the whole village.
Fortunately, with the help of her adoptive father, Donna (and Angie too I guess asdfghj) and the Duke (who might or might not have pulled some strings to make certain things happen *wink wink*), she has finally felt comfortable letting down her guard and allow herself to trust again.
Call that the power of love or whatever, but now Silvia is ready to throw hands with Ethan, the whole BSAA and even Mother Miranda herself if they were ever to hurt her lover uwu

RESPECT OTHER PEOPLES TRIGGER!!
I don’t care if you think they’re dumb or some shit. RESPECT THEM. You have NO idea what that person has went through to gain that trigger. And you have NO right to make fun of them for it.
Having a trigger doesn’t make you a ‘sensitive snowflake who couldn’t survive in the real world’ it just means that certain things gives memories of trauma or make you extremely uncomfortable. AND THATS OKAY. Having one trigger or having tons of triggers doesn’t make you any less valid.
SO RESPECT PEOPLE’S TRIGGERS WHEN THEY TELL YOU THEM. It’s not hard.

I’m angy so here
I am SO sick of non autistic ppl saying “oh tone indicators are useless or dumb” PLEASE SHUT UP. I don’t care care what you have to say, if you’re not autistic I don’t give a shit what you think about tone indicators bc they weren’t made for you. They were make FOR autistic ppl.
Even if you’re ND, you rlly have to understand that a lotta autistic ppl (like myself) NEED them, and once again, if you’re not autistic then they weren’t made for you, (you can still use and benefit from them ofc but it’s important to understand they weren’t made specifically for you)
Even IF you think a certain indicator is dumb, or someone is using too many, it doesn’t matter bc they weren’t made for you, and other people CAN benefit from them
PLEASE SHUT UP FOR ONCE
Dgmw, I get how certain tone indicators aren’t great or some ppl use way too many, but honestly, I don’t really care. For me personally I’d rather have someone use a million tone indicators than none at all,
And like I said before, they weren’t made for you, so you HAVE to keep them in mind
(Also like, don’t get mad when an autistic person tells you why certain tone indicators exist/how they can be useful??? Maybe???)

Short Halloween oneshot bc Halloween.
----------------------------------------------
The Harmony class really should have known this...
----------------------------------------------
Not Foolproof
They should have knew...
Keyword should.
But their plan had looked foolproof this time.
And still....
Shuichi sighed. It wasn't the first time they had done this. Bonding over their love of horror and scary stuff, Tsumugi and Angie were known for their way too scary Halloween decorations. That's why they had been banned from decorating.
But still they alway found a way....
Each year...
Even though being forbidden, now four years later they still hadn't stopped. Each Halloween, without fail, they would leave jumpscares and the scariest decoration you could imange.
He still remembered the year before. They had tried locking the duo in their rooms the night before so they wouldn't be able to set up. But that morning, Shuichi was greeted with an screwed open vent and the two gone. The halls decked out in the creepy decorations again.
Although luckily, the cosplayer and the artist weren't monsters, Shuichi was happy they always warned the others with trigger warnings on each hallway. He was happy with that they were at least taking the others in consideration. And knowing what he could expect helped his anxiety tremendously.
This year however was different. They had a different plan.
A foolproof one.
Kokichi had suggested tying them down to their beds and Miu had immediately replied that that was kinky, but that idea was quickly shut down. A new plan was decided.
To give them a taste of their own medicine.
The class had worked tirelessly on decorations that would scare the two. With Tenko and Gonta in charge of keeping the duo away from the attic and the others working on the decoration, this couldn't have failed.
That night, they made sure the cosplayer and the artist were sleeping and snuck down the hall. Why were they sleeping so early? Shuichi had questioned. Wouldn't they be planning something again?
Everywhere they could they put the decoration. It had looked really realistic. So realistic that they would sometimes scare themselves with it.
That morning, everything was weirdly quiet. No sounds was heard. Everyone met up in the dining hall like everyday.
But two people were missing.
Tsumugi and Angie.
Their decorations had been untouched and nobody had seen the two at night. Where they planning something?
Something bigger and scarier? Something that would not make them able to sleep for several days?!
Shuichi was sure they were planning something. It wasn't like they could leave the school so they would be there somewhere. With everyone on high alert and freaked out by whatever the duo could have planned, they searched the entire school but no signal from the two missing people.
Until...
"Shhh, there he is"
A quiet voice whispered to someone else. Shuichi had just been walking down the hallway. It had been hours that they had been searching. He nearly screamed. What was happening, why wasn't anything happening?!
Every year they had planned something scary but this time....not.
"Tsumugi? Angie? Come down now!" He said to them, opening the door to the classroom he had come the voice coming from.
A half hour later everyone had gathered in the dining hall again. Tsumugi and Angie weirdly calm although having a mischievous smile on their faces.
"What did you plan?!" Miu yelled, her face obviously showing her fear. Angie only smiled. "Oh, we planned nothing"
"What?!" Kaito stepped forward. "What do you mean, nothing?!"
"Yeah, absolutely nothing." Tsumugi laughed. "The scariest things always are the ones you don't expect. You didn't expect nothing happening so that's why."
All this nervousness and fear for nothing?
"Besides" Angie's chipper voice added. "You guys already had taken care of the decorations, they are very good, Atua is proud"
Tsumugi and Angie had played them...
There was no winning from them...
The class really needed a better actually foolproof plan next time.
