OH MY GOD CARMY SMOKING WHILE YOU RIDE HIM walk with me…
maybe you’re at his place, or his office, and you’ve just been kinda needy all day. not to an ‘annoying’ extent, but carmen sees it because he knows you. so when he tugs his jeans and boxers down just enough for you, you pounce
he leans back in his couch/chair, pulling out a cigarette and lazily watches you go at it. maybe he’d tug your shirt up so he could ‘see his girls.’ his nonchalance just drives you fucking crazy and he lets you do it yourself, no matter how many times you whine for him to help because ‘you were fuckin’ gagging for it all day, who am i to interrupt, huh? jus’ keep fuckin’ me like that’
i don’t think he’d blow smoke in your face (intentionally) but if you find it hot he would. and once he’s done he puts out the cigarette, his lax grip on your thighs tightening as he starts snapping his hips against yours
Also includes this ask I got shortly after: Camry smoking a cig during sex has my mind going brrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's so lazy, too. just slow riding him while he lays back and watches. Maybe it's punishment for acting up???? You're just whining on his cock begging for him to help you cum.
I. YEAH. YOU GET IT. Time to expand on these thoughts. ( this ended up being 1670k words of filth)
You find yourself at Carmy’s apartment on his day off. Those don’t come around too often. You expected him to do something by now, but he hasn’t made a single move to get his hands on you. He kissed you when you came in, but that was about it.
You take matters into your own hands. Try to, at least. You are practically all over him, never leaving his side. When he’s standing at his kitchen counter that evening, pouring you a glass of wine, you quietly walk up behind him. Your arms wrap around his waist while you rest your forehead on the center of Carmy’s back. You let your hands gently slide over the taunt muscles of his stomach over his shirt as you speak.
“I’ve missed you, Bear. Missed your hugs. It feels like I’ve hardly seen you all week.” He sighs into your touch.
“I’ve missed you too, baby.” Carmy turns around to hand you the glass. “Work was extra crazy this week. I’m sorry I didn’t have time to see you.”
“It’s alright. I know it was out of your control…Maybe there’s a way you can make it up to me?” You flash him a look he knows full well.
A breathy chuckle leaves his lips. “Sweetheart, I’m exhausted. Can we just watch some tv?”
You don’t even attempt to hide the pout on your face as you settle next to him on the couch, leaning against him with his arm around you. Carmy put on a show he knows the both of you like.
You only keep your hands to yourself for one whole episode. Your movements start slow. At first you begin to trail your fingertips along his side. It’s not long before your hand slides up under the fabric of his white tee.
“Baby, what are you doing?” Carmen’s voice is smooth and calm. You lean up to press a kiss on his check, followed by a quick one to his neck.
“Oh. Nothing.”
“Let’s not play dumb now. I think you know better than that.” He leans back away from your body, forcing you to meet his eyes. “I’m going to let you try again. What are you doing?”
You fold instantly. “I need you, Carm. I really need you.”
“Yeah? Missed my cock, huh? Want it so bad that you don’t care about how tired I am?”
“No! No, that’s not it—“ you protest quickly.
“Fine.” Carmy begins to unbuckle his belt as he speaks. “But I’m not putting in any work.” He lowers his jeans and boxers just enough to free his dick.
Without a second thought, you stand up from the couch and pull down your pants and underwear. Once you straddle his hips, you reach down and pump his hard cock, spreading the precum over his length. Carmy takes in the sight of you as you gradually sink down onto him. Slowly, inch by inch.
Despite how many times you've been with Carmy, you still haven't gotten used to the stretch. In a position like this, it almost feels like he's in your stomach. Your eyelids squint shut while you take deep breaths and try to adjust. Though, at the sound of a lighter, your eyes pop right back open, staring down at Carmen with wide-eyes. A cigarette rests between his lips, having just been lit.
“W-what are you doing?” You’re expecting him to start guiding your hips, but he doesn’t. Carmy leans back against the couch, making himself comfortable. He lets his legs spread wide, forcing you to straddle higher up on his hips. The action presses his cock even deeper inside of you. He looks as though he’s having an evening cigarette, only difference is that you’re on top of him.
His tattooed fingers takes the cigarette from his mouth so he can blow out the smoke. Carmy turns his head to the side, blowing the smoke cloud away from you. The smell quickly fills up your nose. "I told you, l'm tired.” His voice is stoic. If it wasn’t for his cock pulsing inside of you, you wouldn’t think he’s turned on. “Go on and get yourself off. I'm going to enjoy my cigarette."
You start slow, grinding your hips on him. Your hands rest on his lower stomach for leverage as you rock against him. His abs are taunt and hard underneath your palms. The motion rubs your clit on his pelvis, causing a breathless moan to leave your throat.
Carmy remains still beneath you, watching you with lust-filled eyes. One of his hands rests on your thigh. His other hand tends to the cigarette in his mouth. He speaks up after a moment of letting you rock against him.
“Should have just let you sit on my thigh if all you’re going to do is grind on me. Thought you said you wanted my cock?” He waits for your response, bringing the cigarette back up to his lips to take a deep drag.
“I-I do—“ Carmy doesn’t let you finish your sentence, lightly blowing smoke into your face. He doesn’t miss the way you clench around him from the simple action, but he chooses not to tease you for it.
“Then fuck yourself on me. You’re a big girl. You can do it by yourself.”
You whimper pitifully. You want his strong arms to grab your hips and slam you down onto his cock, but that wasn’t going to happen. You rise up on your knees, letting his cock thrust almost entirely out of you. Your hips sink right back down onto him afterwards. The pleasure is unexplainable, sending electricity through your veins as he bottoms out.
You set a slow pace, not able to go as fast without Carmy’s help. His pupils are blown wide as he stares up at you, before his gaze moves downwards. He watches as his cock disappears inside of you with each slow thrust. You’re dripping, coating his dick with your arousal. The sight of his thick cock stretching you out hypnotizes him.
His lack of words and refusal to help is killing you. You need him to fuck you. Your thighs burn, growing tired from the repetitive movements. “C-carm. Need you to help. Please- please I need it.” You cry out.
“You were the one gagging for my cock all day. Why should I help? Just keep fucking me like this, yeah?” He’s nearing the end of his cigarette, only a couple more minutes of life left in it. You try your best to continue bouncing on him, but it’s getting more difficult by the minute.
“Carm— fuck!” You exclaim as his cock nudges against that spot deep inside you. Carmy ignores your cries. He takes his hand off of your thigh and tugs the material of your tank top up, exposing your tits.
“There we go. Now I can see my girls.” He still doesn’t go any further than that, letting his hand go back to resting on your thigh. Not even so much as rubbing a thumb over your breast. He goes back to watching you move, fighting the urge to hold your tits for you while you bounce.
The muscles in your legs begin to twitch, but not from being close to your high. Your legs are exhausted, and your pace shows it. You’re getting slower, not going as consistently.
Carmy reaches the end of his cigarette, taking one last long drag. He grabs your face with his hand. His thumb on your chin opens up your lips. Carmen exhales the smoke into your mouth, expecting you to inhale it. You do exactly that, letting the smoke fill up your lungs before blowing it out in the space between the two of you.
Now fully satisfied, Carmy reaches over to stub out his cigarette on the ash tray sitting on the side table. Without offering a single word, Carmy digs his hands into both of your thighs and starts slamming his hips into yours. Sounds of skin against skin echo against the walls.
“Shit! Fuck, Carmy—“ you moan, not even trying to control your volume. “I can— I can feel you in my stomach, shit—“ You take one of your hands and press beneath your navel, feeling his cock as it thrusts rapidly into your soaking cunt. “Feels so good, Carm.” You’re blabbering at this point, high on the feeling of him inside you. Your orgasm draws close fast.
“Yeah you needed me so bad that you couldn’t get off without me? Is that it? My little girl needed some help?”
“Yes—“
“Then what do you say?” Carmen is nearing his own high, too. His pace grows sloppy.
“T-thank you— fuck— thank you, Carmy.”
“There’s my respectful good girl. Just needed a little bit of punishment to get her back.” He detaches a hand from your thigh, moving it to your aching clit. He rubs tight fast circles on the bud with a calloused thumb. “Go on, baby. Cum for me. Soak my cock.”
Your orgasm hits you like a freight train. Euphoria floods through your veins as Carmy fucks you through it. You collapse into his body, hiding your face in the crook of his neck. The sounds of your moans and whimpers muffles in the skin of his neck. Your body shakes from pleasure.
Carmy removes his thumb from your clit, not wanting to overstimulate you. You had already been punished enough. His hand rests at the back of your head, cupping it gently. The gentleness of his hands starkly contrasts the way his hips sharply thrust into you.
“Atta girl. Just a bit more—“ he groans, offering you some praise. With a few more powerful thrusts of his hips, Carmy spills inside of you, filling you up with his cum. You both remain wordless in each others’ arms for a moment, trying to catch a breath. Carmy is the first to break the silence. “You happy now?” This time his voice has a hint of laugh to it.
“Mhm.” You kiss his neck. “Very happy. Thank you.”
“I think you know I’ll do anything you want at this point.” He laughs. “Now, can we go clean up and go to sleep? I’m even more exhausted now, baby.”

how you met
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
rockstar!rafe x model!reader
The pulsing bass and dim lights made it easy to get lost in the heat of the underground club. The air was thick with the smell of sweat, spilled drinks, and the kind of energy that came alive after midnight. It was the perfect place to forget… or be forgotten. Exactly what you’d needed after your friends all but forced you out tonight, insisting that life didn’t end just because you’d left your famous ex in the past.
"Look around!" one of them yelled over the music, nudging you with a sly grin. “This is exactly what you need!”
“Right,” you muttered, taking a sip of whatever drink they’d ordered for you, scanning the room with a sort of lazy detachment. You weren’t really looking to rebound with anyone here. That is, until you saw him.
He was on stage, barely ten feet away. Shirtless, tattoos splashed across his skin, he had that dark, brooding edge that made him look like he was born for a stage like this, all arrogance and mystery wrapped up in a stunning face with a jawline that could cut glass. His voice was raw, gravelly, like he was spitting out every word with a vengeance, and somehow, he had the entire crowd hooked.
Rafe Cameron.
You recognized him immediately—he’d been the face (and body) of a million indie music magazines you’d been in too, though your worlds had never actually crossed. But seeing him up close, hearing him live, felt different. You watched, your heart picking up speed with each word he growled into the mic, his piercing blue eyes scanning the room until—
He saw you.
There was a beat, maybe two, where the energy between you was so thick it was almost tangible. His gaze raked over you slowly, starting from the glossy heels that matched the clingy little dress your friends had practically begged you to wear. His eyes were heavy, hooded, and every time he looked at you, you could practically feel the heat licking at your skin. You arched a brow, pretending not to notice, barely giving him a second glance, which only seemed to make his stare even bolder.
“God, he’s looking right at you,” your friend whispered, practically squealing in excitement. You kept a cool exterior, giving Rafe the most casual of glances before looking away, leaning back to take a slow sip of your drink. His band continued their set, but he never stopped glancing in your direction, his attention flickering between the song and whatever spell you’d cast over him.
The moment they finished, you expected him to disappear backstage. Instead, Rafe practically leaped off the stage, heading straight for the bar, for you.
“Didn’t think a girl like you would ever show up in a place like this,” he drawled, voice low and teasing as he leaned an arm on the bar next to you. He smelled like sweat and the faintest hint of smoke, and somehow, it was intoxicating. Up close, he was even more gorgeous, a mix of rugged, careless appeal and a confidence that was probably earned from too many one-night stands.
“Maybe you don’t know what kind of girl I am,” you replied, shooting him a little smirk. You wanted him, yes, but the game was too fun to rush. Besides, you were still reeling from the effect he had on you. You couldn’t give him the satisfaction of knowing that.
Rafe chuckled, and there was something wicked about it, like he already knew exactly what you were doing and had every intention of breaking down your resolve. “Oh, I know. I’ve seen your face on more magazine covers than I can count. Got them all over my place, by the way.” His eyes roamed your body again, this time with no hint of shame. “But trust me, you’re even better in person.”
“You talk like you think you’ve got me all figured out,” you shot back, the smirk playing on your lips as you turned to face him. His stare was unrelenting, blue eyes devouring every inch of you, and there was no hiding the smolder in them. He’d probably perfected that look a long time ago, and it was undeniably sexy.
He leaned in, his lips brushing just past your ear. “You want me to figure you out?” His voice was a low, dangerous whisper. “Because, baby, I’ll take all night if that’s what it takes.”
You couldn’t help the way your breath hitched at his words. He was crass, unapologetic, and entirely too good at this game, but you weren’t about to let him know he’d gotten under your skin. Yet.
“Oh, please,” you replied coolly, rolling your eyes as if unaffected. “Like you could handle it.”
Rafe’s grin widened, flashing that perfect smile that made your pulse thud in your chest. “Big words for a girl playing hard to get,” he said, his hand reaching to twirl a strand of your hair between his fingers. He was close enough that you could see every detail of the tattoos etched along his collarbone, and you had to focus hard to keep your cool as he looked at you like you were something he was seconds away from devouring.
You arched a brow, meeting his gaze head-on. “Playing?” you echoed, feigning nonchalance. “This is just my normal.”
His laugh was a dark, husky sound, and the way his fingers brushed along your arm left a trail of heat on your skin. “If that’s the case, sweetheart, consider me hooked.”
He paused, eyes locking on yours as he closed the distance, his hand coming to rest on your waist. You could feel his warm breath on your lips, smell the scent of whiskey on his breath. You knew exactly what he wanted—and, if you were honest with yourself, you wanted it too. But you weren’t about to make it easy.
You let a long moment of silence stretch between you, your eyes flicking to his mouth for the briefest second before meeting his gaze again, a smile tugging at the corner of your lips. “Then I guess you’ll just have to work a little harder for it, won’t you?”
Rafe’s smirk softened into something that was almost a grin. “Oh, trust me, I don’t mind putting in the work.” Without another word, his lips crashed against yours, hungry, unrestrained, a kiss that held every bit of the reckless energy he had on stage. His hands held you firmly, like he was staking a claim, and the way he kissed was more than just a kiss—it was a promise, a challenge, a taunt all in one.
As you pulled away, a satisfied smirk played on your lips. Rafe was left standing there, his hand still lingering at his side as if reluctant to let go. You met his heated gaze, letting a slow, coy smile spread across your face before stepping back, savoring the way his eyes stayed locked on you, intense and unyielding.
With one last lingering glance, you turned on your heel, swaying your hips with each step, knowing full well he was watching every second. Each sway was deliberate, your heels clicking against the floor in time with the pounding bass of the music, and you didn’t look back, but you could practically feel his eyes tracing every curve.
Rafe’s husky voice rang out, half-amused, half-starved, over the music. “You’re playing a dangerous game, you know that?”
You glanced back, giving him a sly wink. “Guess you’ll just have to catch up and see.”
His smirk grew, and you knew you’d just sparked something wild in him. Just the way you wanted it. And as you slipped into the crowd, you could already feel the tension simmering, ready to pull you back to him the second you both decided to stop playing games.

Description: Single dad Miguel who replaced himself in a new universe meets his daughter's favorite teacher, you, who just happens to have a shitty boyfriend and doesn't yet know how much the O'Hara family wants you to stick around
Pt 2
I cracked y'all, and I blame TikTok
“Ms. Y/N, watch me, watch me!” Gabi calls, waving her arms in the air to catch your attention.
“I’m watching, go ahead.” You encourage her, smiling brightly when she does a successful cartwheel, her hair spilling from the loose braid one of her classmates had done for her during quiet reading.
You know teachers aren’t supposed to have favorite students, you tell each and every one of your students that you don’t have favorites, that you adore all of them equally. But Gabriella O’Hara holds a special place in your heart.
“Did you see, did you see?” She asks excitedly, running up to you, dark curls tumbling wildly around her shoulders.
You kneel down, and brush the hair back from her face, still smiling brightly. “I did, that was amazing, who taught you that?”
“My dad, he helped me practice.” She says, giving you a toothy grin, one front tooth missing from where she’d knocked it out eating an apple yesterday.
A tear-filled lunch that had been until you reminded her that now the Tooth Fairy would come visit her. The idea of a sparkly fairy leaving her money in exchange for her tooth dried her tears quickly, and soon enough she was proudly showing off her lost tooth (safely contained in a Ziploc bag) to anyone who would listen.
“Well, it seems like your dad is a very good teacher, then.” You say, giving her shoulder a quick squeeze before her friends dragged her back onto the playground.
You stood back up and rejoined the other first grade teachers.
“She’s adorable.” Janey says, nodding at Gabi who was playing tag with a few other girls.
Janey taught in the classroom next to yours. You started teaching at the same time, but she’d been hired at Steve Rodgers Elementary a year before you. Janey was the first friend you made when you got hired, and you soon became close friends inside and outside school.
“She’s so well-behaved, too; I wish I knew who her mom was, so I could thank her.” You say, a slight grimace on your face, when you watched two boys from your class begin to shove each other.
You called out to them, and they stopped, giving you guilty looks before running towards the swing sets.
“There’s no mom, she walked out on Gabi and her father after she was born.” Melissa says, her arms crossed over her chest as she watched her kids.
Melissa was a senior teacher at Rodgers Elementary. A tough love works the best teacher with the confidence of a god, and a nose for gossip like you couldn’t believe.
“Oh, that’s so sad.” You say, your heart hurting for the sweet little girl who always wanted to sit next to you during story time. Gabi had told you about her dad many times, but never mentioned her mom, you just assumed she was away for work often, or that they didn’t have many things in common.
You looked at Gabi, watching as she helped one of her friends tie their shoes. Sitting beside them and patiently demonstrating on her own sneakers. How could anyone walk away from her?
“It is, but her dad…he’s hot, I’ve seen him in the pickup line, he’s like a male model or something.” Melissa says, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.
You gave her an incredulous look. “Melissa! That’s a parent you’re talking about.”
She shrugs. “Hey, I’m married, I’m not gonna do anything, but one of you could.”
Janey turns her head to hide her laughter, and you smack her arm. “Janey, hitting on a child’s parent is wildly inappropriate, besides I have Todd.”
Melissa snorts, and you bite the inside of your cheek. Todd was not a popular man around the school, especially after what he pulled on your birthday.
The bell rings signaling the end of recess and your kids begin to line up, ending your conversation as the three of you are pulled in different directions.
There’s a knock at your door, and you look up from grading papers, to see Janey. “Hey y/n, Gabi’s father is here to see you?”
You shoot her a look of confusion and begin to tidy up your desk, then stand, smoothing out the wrinkles in your baby pink dress. “Oh, yeah, sure, let him in.”
Janey disappears, and the space is filled by a giant of a man. He towers over the desks, making them look even tinier than they already were. His shoulders are massive, his biceps you swear are bigger than your thighs, though you could be exaggerating, but you’re honestly not sure, and when he fixes those dark brown eyes on you, and suddenly the floor beneath you feels unsteady.
“Mr. O’Hara, how can I help you?” You manage to get out, motioning for him to take a seat in front of his desk.
“I’ll stand.” He says curtly. His voice is deep, settling in your bones, the faint whisper of an accent, and confidence behind his words makes you nervous for a moment, then you recognize the feeling, not nerves…something else, something much more inappropriate.
“Oh—okay, is there something you need, is Gabi okay?” You ask, realizing she isn’t in the classroom with him.
“She’s fine, just sitting outside with her book.” He explains, his eyes piercing straight through you.
“Margaret and Margarita, right? Your daughter an exceptional reader, in both English and Spanish, you should be very proud.” You say, giving him a smile, hoping the compliment will soften his expression and make it seem like he didn’t want to murder you.
Melissa was right, Mr. O’Hara was gorgeous. With a strong jawline, high cheekbones, a mess of thick dark hair, and perfectly formed lips, all tapering down to the body of an Adonis, clothed in a white button up that stretched across his broad chest, and black slacks that clung to his muscled legs like it was their job and rent was due next week. But his expression was flat, his eyes cold, his stance rigid.
“Why did you lie to my daughter?” He asks flatly, looking down at you, as if you were a bug on his windshield.
You blink up at him in confusion. “I’m sorry?”
“You should be.”
An indignant expression flashed across your face before you could stop it, and you saw Mr. O’Hara’s lip twitch. “I’m not apologizing, I’m asking for clarification.”
“You told Gabi that the Tooth Fairy was going to visit her, I wasn’t going to do the Tooth Fairy , she doesn’t need false hope.” He snaps, leaning forward slightly, towering over you.
The hair on your arms stands up, but you brush it off as a stab of guilt goes through you. He was a single dad, maybe he couldn’t afford such frivolous traditions. “Mr. O’Hara, if this is a financial issue, I am so sorry. I should’ve tried to comfort her another way, my sincerest apologizes.”
“This isn’t a financial issu—comfort her?” He stops midsentence, his brows furrowing.
“She was upset because she lost her teeth, it’s her first one, a ton of kids get a little scared, but the promise of a reward usually clears those tears right up.” You tell him, holding your hands up in a pacifying way as you talk.
His eyes dart down to your hands, then back to your eyes, lingering for a moment on your lips. “I didn’t—Gabi didn’t tell me she was scared.”
“She was probably a little embarrassed. She talks all the time about how brave you are and how she wants to be just like you when she grows up.”
His expression softens.
“I actually—”you turn to rifle through your desk until you find Gabi’s latest assignment—“have something for you.”
He takes the paper from you, and you can’t help but notice how his hands dwarf yours, his tanned skin is scattered with small scars, and his calloused fingertips brush against yours. “What is this?”
“I had the kids draw a picture of their hero and then write a few sentences about why that person is their hero. I think she was one of a few who didn’t draw Spiderman.” You laugh softly.
He cradles the paper and a soft smile spreads across his face as he reads her writing under his breath. “Porque mi papá lucha contra los monstruos en mi armario.”
“I had to look that one up, my Spanish is terrible.” You admit sheepishly, watching as he reads her words over and over again.
“Thank you, for this, and for comforting Gabi.” He says, folding the paper carefully and sliding it in his pocket.
“Of course, I love Gabi, she’s such a pleasure to have in class.”
He looks at you, really looks at you, and you’re struck by how similar he and Gabi are. They have the same nose, the same almost curls that frame their faces, and when he tilts his head ever so slightly to the side you almost burst out laughing. You can’t count how many times you’ve seen Gabi do that exact same thing.
“You know Gabi talks a lot about you, how pretty you are, she was right.” His voice is low, smooth, and sends a jolt through you. Then he takes his leave, with you standing there stunned, wondering what the hell just happened to you.

In your love-M. Rempe
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Matt Rempe x fem! Reader
In which you and Matt finally pronounce your love for one another
Warnings?: tooth rotting fluff, kissing, concert setting, large crowd, based off of Tyler Childers song “In your love.”
“You excited?” He smiled down at you, his bright smile stretching out over his face.
“Yeah, I’ve only been to one country concert before.” You replied, rocking back and forth on your feet as you waited for the line to move up.
“Oh honey you’ve been missing out.” He laughed, wrapping his strong arm over your shoulder as he pulled you closer to him.
The second Matt heard Tyler Childers would be in town the man bought the tickets immediately, did he get yelled at for spending the amount of money he did? Yes, but he could care less.
He watched you dance around his apartment day after day singing multiple songs and there was nothing he wanted more then for you to be able to experience them live.
By the time you guys made it in and found a good spot in the crowd it had began to get dark, the opener coming on stage with a warm greeting.
You two didn’t know any of his songs but danced and enjoyed the music nonetheless, giggles floated from you as Matt spun you in circles and dipped you, his sisters taking video after video making sure to capture the sweet moments.
“Do you want a drink?” Matt asked once a small intermission came between the opener and Tyler..
“Just a water please.” You smiled politely.
“Gotcha.” He spoke, dipping down to place a kiss to your cheek before taking off.
You couldn’t help the way your eyes watched him walk away, butterflies floating in your chest as the heat of his lips still lingered on your cheek.
Many people thought he was a big buff jerk for the way he fought on the ice but they couldn’t be more wrong. He was gentle and kind, he was the guy that helped the old ladies in the grocery store grab things off the top shelf.
He was welcoming to anyone new, so open to giving new people a chance and while sometimes it gets him burned he always says he’d rather take the chance then not.
The voice of one of his sisters pulled you from your thoughts, “God he is so in love with you.” She laughed.
You blushed at her words, “you think so?”
“Think so? Girl I know so. I’ve never in my entire life seen him look at anyone or anything the way he looks at you.” She smiled throwing her arm over your shoulder similar to how her brother did earlier in the evening.
You didn’t get a chance to reply to her before you saw your boy heading your way, his large frame towering over a majority of the crowd.
“Here you go.” He smiled as he handed you the bottle of water.
“Thank you.” You hummed leaning to place a quick peck to his lips.
“You are very welcome pretty lady.” He replied, leaning down to lock your lips in one more sweet kiss.
Your small group talked and took some pictures while you waited for Tyler to take the stage, childhood stories and funny memories were shared from his sisters while you laughed and Matt blushed in embarrassment.
Finally when the lights dimmed and people started to cheer did you guys turn back towards the stage, watching as Tyler came out.
He greeted the crowd before jumping into his set list, multiple of your favorites starting off the show. You had your back resting against Matt’s chest while his arms wrapped around your front swaying you two side to side.
The beat to the song died and Tyler stepped away from the mic, he interacted with the crowd for a moment before introducing his next song.
“This one I wrote for a special someone in my life and I hope you love it as much as I do them. This is in your love.” He smiled.
“Oh I love this one” you smiled as you squeezed Matt’s arm in excitement.
You sang along to the intro watching him perform until you were turned to face Matt, you threw your arms around his shoulder, his hands dropped to your waist as he pulled you flush against him.
You felt your heart flutter in your chest as he cupped your cheek softly and began to sing the words to you.
I will stand my ground, I'm a bad man looking for takers, You're the finest thing around.
So I will stand my ground
'Cause it's cold out there
And you know some men search for ages
For the love that I have found
So I will stand my ground
Tears pricked your eyes as he kept going, you’d been together almost a year now but neither of you had let the three word sentence slip yet.
You’d never felt anything like this before, nobody had made you feel as safe and loved like Matt had but you were scared of saying it too early for him.
We were never made to run forever
We were just meant to go long enough
To find what we were chasin' after
I believe I found it here in your love
You didn’t let him say another lyric before your lips were on his, hands gripping his thick jean jacket while both of his much larger ones came to cup your cheeks gently.
“I love you so much.” You cried when you pulled back.
He smiled, his own eyes watering as he wiped away your escaped tears, “I love you too sweetheart.”
He pecked your lips one last time before pulling you into his side, this time both of you belting out the lyrics.
I will work for you
'Til my hands are tired and bleedin'
I know what it is from us I'm needin'
I will work for you
His sisters watched in a quiet silence, tears of their own pricking their eyes as they watched their brother be so effortlessly in love with you.
The way he held you so close and tender, his fingers gently caressing your arm, his head rested against yours.
There were no doubts in their hearts that their brother had found his person.
Honey, I will wait for you
Honey, I will stand my ground
I will work for you
I will stand my ground

my favorite girl
caitlin clark x reader angst
(be nice)
“YOU DID GREAT”
“all for my favorite girl”
dowling catholic has just beaten valley high. not only with the same city rivalry, this game was the season opener, caitlin just got done with fiba u17, the game was huge. everyone was there, it honestly seemed like everyone in des moine was there.
you sat in the first row watching your best friend play her heart out.
her basketball games always brought a smile to your face, seeing your best friend play with so much passion always made you smile.
the loud horn rang, signaling the game ended dowling won 80-26.
you watch as students started to leave, filled with excitement and joy from the win.  sitting on a bench outside of the school waiting for her. you wondered how she was feeling, you couldn’t wait to see her smile from the win.
then you see her.
she was walking out with some of her teammates smiling and laughing about their win. you waited till she parted ways with them, smiling as you watched their.
then she spots you, running up to her and tackle hugging her.
“YOU DID GREAT” the excitement and enthusiasm in your voice could be heard thousands of miles away.
“all for you my favorite girl” she responded with a huge smile on her face. as she wrapped her arms around your waist.
you hide your face in her neck hearing the sweet nickname. staying like that for a bit. you let go of her embrace, asking her in a much calmer voice.
“where do you want to eat champ”  still trying to get your mind off of the nickname.
“hmmm, do you want to try that new pizza place, it’s by jordan creek?” she sounded happy but seemed sad that you let go of her embrace.
“Oh my god yes! i’ve heard so many good things about it! lilly and emma went there a few days ago and i swear they still haven’t stopped talking about it!” you exclaimed with so much excitement.
caitlin smiled widely, she loved it when you would get so excited and passionate about whatever you guys would talk about. but she was also trying to push back her jealousy. even though she knew she was your favorite person, lilly and emma were two of your closest friends. she was jealous how they got to hang out with you all the time. she had just gotten back from fiba U17 which took up practically all spring and summer and now basketball season started so she would barely  see you again. she couldn’t help but to feel jealous when she would watch and hear you talk about them all the time.
“you gotta stop hanging out with my dad, you’re starting to turn into him, champ” she nudged you in the arm.
“hey, it’s not my fault that your parents needed someone to look after colin and it’s not my fault your dad loves me” you’re really close with the clark family, the clark parent has always saw you as a second daughter and blake and colin have always seen you as a sister.
“eh colin’s fine, you should come travel with me next time i’m in fiba”
“cait you know i would love to, but with what money? i’m babysitting colin for my college fund”
“ill pay for you!” she replied with her great big smile
“you have as much money as i do. now focus on the road before we get in an accident” you could hear the fake annoyance in your voice as you roll your eyes at her.
“you’re no fun”
turning on taylor’s 1989 album, the same one you’d gotten catlin for her birthday a while back.
you hadn’t even realized you were there until she turned off the music.
“you ready?” she asked calmly
“yea i just zoned out” taking her hand as you guys run inside.
but that was the old days
the old caitlin
now you barely see her, talk to her, touch her.
all because her stupid boyfriend being jealous of you.
hell the last time you guys even spoke was a because of a fight.
“God y/n why didn’t you tell me you’re dating someone, i’m your best friend” she yelled
“You’re blaming this on me?” you asked, you were confused and hurt.
“Yes i’m blaming this on you, we’re difting apart, you never talk to me, god I didn’t even know you were dating someone. we haven’t spoken in literal months y/n, this is the first time we’ve talked and we’re fucking fighting”
“Oh My Fucking God Caitlin, you don’t get the right to put this on me. ever since you gotten with connor you’ve been ignoring me, you act like i didn’t exist when you were with him, you don’t respond to me or acknowledge me. and for what he was jealous of me? it’s not like you even like me. you have no right to be mad at me for not telling you i’m dating when you don’t even care.” you yelled back. hurt that she’s mad at you, hurt that she’s been ignoring you, hurt that she got with connor after you told her you loved her.
silence fell between you two. feeling tears starting to form, you knew it was time to leave.
“i’m going to go, bye caitlin.” you left, head down, with tears streaming down your face. you close the door hearing no response.
but caitlin did respond, too quite for you to hear.
“I love you so much y/n, more than you could ever know.” as she hears the door shut. she silently sob realizing her best friend, her childhood love, her favorite girl had just left.
all because of a stupid boy she doesn’t even love.
(this is ass so i’m sorry)
i really gotta stop writing angst before i get murdered.

Something out of a rom com | Steph Catley x reader
Tumblr media
Summary; The night of Steph’s 30th birthday party leads to the telling of your romantic love story that really should be made into a rom com.
Words; 2.5k
Pairing; Steph Catley x reader
Warnings; none really, pure fluff
A/N; This is in honour of her birthday and I wrote it because I had the idea during a shower and I just had to write it. It might not be the best but hopefully it's cute and decently written. I’ve also got two blurbs for other players in the process atm so stay tuned for that!
The 26th of January. A seemingly normal day to most people, but it was in fact one of your favourites. It not only marks the day you met the love of your life and future wife, but it coincidentally happened to be her birthday as well. It also happened to be today's date once again.
So here you sat in your shared living room, Steph snuggled up to you on the couch surrounded by some of the people who loved her the most after a very successful 30th birthday party.
A lot of other party goers had left as it was getting late, except for almost half of her Arsenal teammates who always seemed to linger after events such as these, not that you minded.
Different conversations littered the room, most didn’t make sense because of the alcohol that was still flowing. But it was the newest team member Emily Fox who brought the group back together.
“So, how long have you guys been together?” Emily asked, sitting directly across the room from you and Steph.
“Almost 3 years now.” Steph smiled at her and the rest of the group listened in.
“Oh my god, their relationship story is like something out of a rom com!” Jen talked excitingly whilst looking at Emily.
“What do you mean?” You looked at Jen first and then down to Steph who looked just as confused.
“Wait, I’ve never heard the full story.” Kyra piped up from her place on the floor beside Alessia.
“Me either.” Alessia raised a finger while looking between you and Steph.
“It’s not that exciting.” Steph let out a laugh which caused Kyra and Alessia to pout.
“Yes it is. Now listen up children…” Beth cleared her throat from the other edge of the couch next to Viv who was rolling her eyes as Beth began to tell your love story.
6 years ago, January 26th 2018
“Oh come on, just let us go out one last time before you leave me forever!” Your best friend was standing in your room as you laid on your bed and stared up at her.
“Do I have to?” You tried giving her puppy eyes but it wasn’t working, she walked closer to your bed, sitting down and taking your hands in hers.
“You, my best friend of 10 plus years, are leaving me for London for who knows how long.” She pouted at you. “Of course you have to go out with me one last time. So get up, look hot and start drinking.” She pulled your covers off you and dragged you to your vanity, placing a drink in front of you and leaving to go get ready herself.
Over an hour later you were both ready and a little tipsy, ready to leave and adventure into the Melbourne nightlife.
It took a while for you to find a club that was half decent and didn’t have ridiculously overpriced drinks but you secured a place in the corner and were finishing your like 10th drink of the night.
“I’m going to get another, you want one?” You shouted over the music to your friend and pointed to the bar. She shook her head before talking into your ear.
“I’m gonna go on the dance floor, come find me when you're done?” She pointed to where most people congregated and you sent her a thumbs up before weaving through way too many drunk people.
You accidently bumped into someone as you tried to reach the bar, someone else pushing you in the crowd causing you to fall into her.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry.” You apologised as she began to turn around and you suddenly found yourself staring at the most beautiful girl you’ve ever seen.
“Don’t even, it’s so fine.” She replied with a sweet smile and placed a hand on your arm sending chills up it.
“I’m going to take a wild guess and say it’s your birthday?” You laughed as your eyes drifted down the sash she was currently wearing.
“My friends made me wear it, hoping I could score us a few free drinks.” She shook her head and laughed with you.
“Well, let’s not disappoint and let me buy you a drink.” You smiled at her and if it weren't for the dark lighting, you would have seen the blush that accompanied her beautiful smile.
“You don’t have to.” She immediately rejected but this time you reached down and held her arm.
“I insist, birthday girl.” You winked before leading her through the crowd again and finally reaching the bar. “Order whatever you want.” You leant down to her ear as you waited for a bartender.
She politely asked the bartender for her drink of choice before he looked over to you.
“Make it two, please.” You smiled before pulling your card out to pay. You both thanked the bartender before walking away and standing against a wall out of the way.
“Thank you.” She looked up at you with a smile again.
“My pleasure.” You couldn't stop staring at her, she was the most beautiful person ever and she was talking to you. “Wanna go dance? I told my friend I would meet her when I was done.” You asked after finishing your drinks in silence.
“I would love to, but…” She looked down at her watch and you could feel the smile falling off your face. “I’ve got an early morning and my cut off was supposed to be 12.” She made a pout at you.
“That’s okay, I get it.” You nodded and sent her a tight lipped smile.
“There is something I have to do before I go though.” She sent you a smirk and you creased your eyebrows in confusion.
“What?” You looked down at her, barely having any time to think before she reached up and kissed you hard, placing a hand on your face. Immediately your hand fell to her waist and you fell into a rhythm.
The kiss was very nice and a little long but it ended and you parted with big smiles.
“I really have to go now.” She smiled and let out a little laugh.
“Okay cinderella.” You bit your lip before letting her go and she ran off through the crowd to find her friends. You stood in a daze for a second before a hand clasped your shoulder, shaking you out of your trance.
“Oh my god, who was that?” Your best friend had spotted the end of the kiss as she came to find you but didn’t see her face.
“Um,” You blinked before turning to her. “I… don’t… know.” You realised she never shared her name and neither did you. And now she was gone; a mystery kiss from the mystery birthday girl.
3 years later, May 19th 2021
You have been in London for 3 years now, working for an event planning company, establishing a close group of friends and having the time of your life.
Some of the friends you made had managed to drag you along to a women's football match now that people were allowed back to the matches after the covid lockdown last year, despite your lack of interest in or awareness of the sport, either male or female.
So here you were at Meadow Park on a Wednesday evening, watching a sport you’ve never taken interest in but were enjoying to some degree in the fading spring sun.
“I told you. I knew you would enjoy it eventually.” Your friend shoved your shoulder after seeing you get up when it was thought a shot might finally go in for the home side and her team of choice, Arsenal.
“Yeah, yeah.” You brushed her off, eyes focused on the game at play and becoming more and more invested with each pass.
It wasn’t till halfway through the second half that a certain defender caught your eye as she ran past and towards the opposite end of the field. There was something about her that seemed so familiar but you couldn’t place it.
The game ended in a 0-0 draw and left you with a new interest that would soon turn into a regular outing on Sundays and Wednesdays, instead of your regular dinner and drinks throughout the week.
The players began to do their rounds and you stuck around, waiting to spot a certain defender once again and figure out the mystery that was the jersey with ‘Catley’ plastered over her back.
She had been talking with another player as they walked, eyes scanning the crowd for any fans with signs or hopeful smiles when she found your eyes further up, you resting along the barrier. The words fell from her lips and the player beside her was tapping her shoulder in an attempt to gain her focus once again but it was no use.
“One sec.” She gently spoke before running over to where you were standing, now looking down at your phone and missing her completely until a familiar accent fell on your ears.
“Hi.” She gave you a smile and your head whipped up from your screen, finding that beautiful face from all those years ago in your sights again.
“Hi.” You breathed out as you assessed her features and reassured yourself you weren’t once again imagining those eyes that plagued your dreams every few months.
“Fancy seeing you here, halfway across the world.” She spoke again, noticing that you were in a sort of daze still.
“Uh yeah. Sorry, this is just so weird.” You shook your head, letting out a laugh. “Not in a bad way,” You spoke quickly. “I just never thought I would see you again. Especially not halfway across the world.” She smiled at your shyness, the opposite to the confident you she remembers; though you are quite confident with alcohol in your system.
“Yeah.” Steph laughed and continued to analyse your features, every part of that night coming back to her in full view rather than scattered pieces of memory like she has for the last three years.
“So,” You tried to keep the conversation flowing, realising you would have to wrap up soon so she could get back to her team and you to your friends. “Do you think I could finally get the name and number that's not on the back of your shirt? I think that’s something you forgot all those years ago.” You smiled at her and began pulling your phone from its place in your pocket.
She let out a laugh, a real one before nodding. “Oh yeah. I guess so.” She held your phone in her hands and began adding a contact in, handing it back quickly. “There you go.”
“Thank you.” You took a look at your phone before returning eye contact with her, feeling once again that same thing inside your chest from the night you first met. “I’ll call you, Steph.” You nodded, beginning to retreat from the barrier and up the stairs.
“And who should I be expecting said call from?” She called out to you, stopping you in your tracks to turn your head back around.
“Y/N.” You smiled before being the one walking away this time and leaving her with a dazed expression and confused friends.
“Who was that?” Beth appeared beside her, looking at the retreating girl Steph had just interacted with but couldn’t see the face.
“Um,” Steph shook her head. “An…old…friend.” She turned her face to Beth who was more confused than ever but began walking towards the changerooms with the rest of the team.
Over the next few weeks it seemed like you and Steph were texting every spare second you each had when she wasn’t training and you weren't working, even before you could finally arrange a time to meet up and have your official first date.
She suggested you go out for dinner one night before she was set to go off and play in the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics over the summer. You had the best time together, chatting for hours and catching up on everything over the past few years, talking as if you had known each other forever. The night ended and she walked you back to your apartment which happened to be just down the street from hers, once again leaving you with a kiss that left you feeling dazed; but this time she couldn’t run and hide from you.
After watching and cheering on Steph and the national team at the Olympics from home, you knew that this was the person you wanted to pursue a future with.
So when she came back you made it official with one another, a private time for the two of you to continue to learn everything about one another until you were ready to share it with your friends and the world.
After a few months of secretly dating, realising this is how the rest of your life was going to look like, you began to share with friends, family and eventually the media which caused a flurry in the football world because of Steph’s public status. It turned out to be even better for your relationship now that you could express your love for one another to other people.
“And then last year, Steph decided to pop the question the day before Y/N wanted to do it.” Beth concluded the story, somehow managing to keep everyone invested despite the late hour and disappearing energy from tonight's events.
“Thank you Beth, that was quite an accurate retelling.” You smiled over at the blonde, reaching out for a high whilst trying not to disturb Steph who had actually fallen asleep. “But I think you bored Stephy here to sleep.” You brushed the hair on her head and her eyes snapped open with a sharp inhale.
“Huh?” Steph began to sit up, looking around the room in confusion, all of her teammates letting out small giggles, you simply looking down at her with admiration.
“I think you’re too old now for all this partying darling.” You laughed at her watching her face form into a scowl.
“I am 3 months older than you!” She pointed a finger at you, now pouting while looking up into your eyes.
“Well this looks like fun, we’ll leave you two to it then.” Lia spoke for the group as they all began standing from their places, yourself and Steph rising from the couch too so you could say goodbye at the door.
“Bye!” You both waved at the last people before you closed the door, Stephs arms securely wrapped around your waist, head against your chest.
“Let’s get you to bed, cinderella.” You laughed, picking her up by her thighs and carrying her like a koala to your bedroom.
“Thank you, my princess charming.” Steph mumbled into your neck, placing a soft kiss there while you let out a small laugh. Maybe this was like something out of a rom com.

Yandere One Piece - Irish/Nordic Fae Folk Myth X F!Reader - Pookah!Luffy
PROLOGUE Pookah - a mischievous yet friendly fae, capable of shapeshifting into any form as they please - malevolent ones included. Legends have told that anyone lucky or unlucky enough to get a ride from Pookah will experience the wildest travel of their lives.
You barely have the time to calm yourself when the Pookah circles you around like a wolf waiting for its prey to move. You’ve been here for a few minutes and already you encountered a fairy folk! Fortunately, luck seemed to be on your side - Pookahs are not relatively dangerous unless you treat them with care.
However, Pookah’s personality is proven to be quite a challenge,  considering this one has the childish personality of a hyperactive boy, drunk with too many candies. Also, he seems to be the talkative type too, jumping around whenever you tried to side-stepped him.
“A human! Sweet! Haven’t seen a human for a while! I mean, on my side anyway. My brothers saw humans all the time because they got permission for it, but I don’t!” The Pookah grumbled, “They said that I need to practice more on my human transformation, but I think it’s perfect!” He gestured towards himself, forgetting about his longish furry ears and tail.
“I… see. That’s very nice, but I have to go.”
Frustratingly, Luffy seems to follow you around, not giving you a moment of rest. It did not help that he had no sense of personal space, always coming in inches close to you - a new toy that he had never seen.
“By the way, my name is Luffy! What’s yours?”
You are about to instinctively answer but a particular warning from your parents hit you on the head. An iron-clad superstition rules that any good children must follow to survive Grand Line if they happened to stumble upon it.
Never tell them your real name, Y/N. That’s how they control you - words have more power in the fairy world than in the human world.
Frowning, you turned your head away from Luffy, “You don’t need to know.”
“Aw, you’re no fun! What am I supposed to call you then? Seaweed? Meat-girl? Oh! I can call you… ‘Wet Blankie’! Because, you know-”
“Alright, I got it! Call me any way you like but you’ll never find out what my name is!” You boldly asserted, keeping to yourself that you can endure the humiliation of being weirdly dubbed for now.
“Fine!” Luffy stuck his tongue out, “...wet blankie.” he added the last part with a laugh, earning him a scowl.
Hurriedly, you walked at a faster pace, hoping to leave the Pookah to his ministrations
“So, whatcha doing here? Are you going somewhere?” “No, I’m lost! I don’t know where I am, what time is it…” You trailed mournfully, “I even started to lose my way around this place.”
“Oh well, Grand Line can be a maze sometimes. Heck, even my friend, Zoro got lost here plenty of times… and he’s a native!”
A certain name from Luffy’s speech puts you into a standstill horror, “Grand Line? As in… THE Grand Line? I’m here in THAT Grand Line?”
“Dang, no need to say three times. But yeah, you’re in Grand Line! You’ll love it! There are so many fun places here - there are so many interesting things happening around here-”
A shudder of panic courses through your body, “No, no, no, no, no! I’m not supposed to be here! My parents told me to stay away from this place! That’s where the fairy folks live, I’ve heard stories of what they’ll do to humans! I have to get out of here!”
Unbeknownst to you, Luffy studied you a little more carefully than the first time he met you. As if he can sense something beyond your appearance.
“That’s… an interesting way to put it,” Luffy droned, “Somehow, you felt different than other humans who fell here.” “You mean there are other humans besides me here?” “Great!” You raised your hands exasperatedly, “I’m lost in this god-forsaken forest,  I can’t find my classmates, and I’m supposed to be home right now! But I’m stuck here! This sucks!” You sobbed
“If you like to… I can give you a ride,” Luffy smiled gently, “I know my way around Grand Line, I can take you to the entrance.” You gasped indignantly at his idiocy, “Are you mad? I can’t trust fairies - that’s the third most important rule that everybody knows!” Luffy’s eyebrows raised in confusion, “Really? Then what’s the second one? I mean, you did tell me the first rule is-”
“-not to reveal my real name to a fairy, I KNOW. You KNOW,” You repeated the rule as if you were schooling a first grader, “The second rule is not to eat and drink anything that the fairies offer.”
“What?!” Luffy jumped in horror, “That’s a terrible rule! You can't do that! Everybody has to eat! Who made that? This is the first time I’ve ever heard it!”
You rolled your eyes in irritation, “Not if you’re a human. They’ll be bound to the fairy world forever if they eat anything in here, and I still want to go home.”
“Not if I can ask the bigwigs to change it!” An optimistic grin burst from Luffy’s face, “I mean, I managed to change a few rules after causing some trouble from time to time again. Which reminds me - I need to hide from my grandpa - he is so pissed off after I destroyed the palace’s garden the other day.”
“You do that while I’m searching for any entrances here,” you murmured, slipping by Luffy.
“Alright, suit yourself!” Luffy shrugged nonchalantly.
Time passed, and you still need to find an entrance. You felt as if the forest was keen on making you even more lost on your path - each shrub seemed to change, pebbles moving out of your marked gaze, not giving you the slightest hope of any exit. What makes matters worse is that you estimated that the sun will set soon. The risk of falling under the clutches of the fairy folk increases with each second you have wasted.
Just as you circled anguishedly around the rock for the fourth time, Luffy popped back again, keeping his irritating grin at your hopeless attempt. “You know, I still can help-”
“Oh, alright!” You snapped, realizing that it’s futile to rely on your own… for now, “But be warned - I have ways to kill you if you break your promise. Got it?”
“Sure thing! I can still take you on if you do! Shishishi!” Luffy innocently chuckled - you felt tempted to smack his head at his indifference.
In just one breath, Luffy transformed himself into a creature that wasn’t a horse but not a mammal either. It was more of like… a rabbit-horse. You were hesitant to approach him but Luffy casually grinned again, lowering his back before.
“Hop on! Don’t worry, I’ll make sure that you won’t fall!”
“I’ll make sure of it too.” You murmured, climbing onto his back.
Luffy is proof that all legends about Pookah giving their passengers the wildest ride of their lives are true. As you let yourself settle in, Luffy sprints at a breakneck speed - so fast and rough that you must hang onto his neck for your dear life. You didn’t even try to utter a scream, only small whimpers in fear of biting your tongue.
So many thoughts ran through your head. Is it a mistake to trust Luffy? How much time had passed - hopefully you would only miss a day or two. And will you make it out of here? You can almost imagine yourself running through the exit out of Grand Line, ignoring any of Luffy’s farewells and just stomping straight to Stelly and Sarie, giving them the beating of their lifetimes at the dining hall. There was also a huge hope that you would be reunited home again with your parents, maybe you could explain why you had lost your iron earrings and being in the Grand Line in the first place-
Luffy suddenly came to an abrupt stop. Before you can recollect yourself, Luffy turned back into his default form, unaware that he let his occupant fall behind his back.
You quickly rose to your feet, nursing your sore arm, “W-Wha? Why did you stop-?”
Luffy’s eyes grimaced, “Someone’s in our path. Look.” Luffy pointed towards a figure in a near distance.
It was a male fairy - an intimidating one at that. Build impressively in a visage fit for royalty, but contains plenty of rebelliousness on the side. Freckles adorn his face like stars and black, wavy hair frames his fiery visage. Behind his back are a pair of transparent, fiery wings that almost resemble that of a hawk. By mortal standards, he is… magnificent.
Your blood ran cold. You recognize the mark on his wings from the illustrations that your mother once drew. She is an impressive artist, painting one bestiary after another with near accuracy. There was no doubt that right in front of your mortal eyes was the son of the Fairy King himself, Portgas D. Ace.
The very same one who thinks burning mortals who pissed him off can be considered normal in Grand Line.
“Wha- what is he doing here? H-H-He’s not supposed to be here-” You stammered.
“Who’s not here who?” Luffy stared at you in question.
“That fairy! Ace! I heard stories about him - he’s dangerous! We have to go!” You furiously shook your head, already searching for a hiding spot.
Upon looking at the fairy in question, Luffy’s face lightens up, “Oh, yeah! You’re right! That’s my brother! OII! ACE-!”
You felt your heart drop at this revelation. Brother. He just has to be Luffy’s brother - why not? It didn’t help that Ace’s attention was stirred by Luffy’s ruckus. Rushing to Luffy’s side, you grabbed his arm as tightly as possible.
“No!” You pleaded, shaking, “Don’t let him see me! I can’t be seen by a fae folk, especially him!”
“What? Why not? I know Ace very well, he won’t hurt-”
“Luffy, please.”
There was a slight hesitation when Luffy analyzed the fear in your voice. It was a gamble, whether or not Luffy would listen to you. Pouting always works, that’s how you got a leeway from the authorities if you happen to be in any sort of problem - like that time you accidentally broke Mayor Woodlsap’s window for a lighter punishment from him. You put your best one yet, coupled with a doe eye that made you seem helpless and innocent.
A few seconds later, Luffy solemnly nodded, “Okay, I won’t tell him that you’re here. Just hide wherever you can, alright? I’ll come and get you when he’s gone.”
You didn’t think twice and made a run for the nearest bushes and rocks that concealed your entire body. Your head peered out upon the two fairy brothers conversing after Ace made his way to Luffy.
Everything about Ace is breathtaking. His beauty is every bit as true as the stories told by swoony-eyed village women. You also have to remind yourself - thanks to your father’s stern warnings time and time again - that Ace is also well-known for his trickery. He is a fairy that would burn humans into a pile of dust or turn them into trinkets if he fancies.
The fact that Ace is unpredictably harmful.
It felt like forever when you counted until five minutes passed by, trying to make out what Ace was saying to Luffy. He seems to whisper something into Luffy’s ears, but the distance is far too wide for you to listen. So you rely on your eyes instead, observing Luffy’s face slowly form into an enthusiastic expression as Ace conversed excitedly with his brother.
You silently breathed in relief when Luffy waved goodbye to Ace, gently coaxing you out of the hiding spot, “He’s gone, don’t worry.”
“What are you talking about with Ace?” You brushed off the dirt in a hurry and climbed to Luffy’s back once more.
“Noooo….thing?” Luffy innocently answered - you rolled your eyes.
“Okay, fine. How far are we to the edge of the entrance?”
“Won't be long now. We just need to make a BIIIG dash straight there…” Luffy pointed straight at a cluster of trees.
“Alright,” you nodded, “Let’s go.”
You barely notice a sliver of Luffy’s dark grin as he runs with all his might towards the clearing. You ignored all the branches, the leaves, and the force of the wind that blinded you - all you care about is reaching the end - to home.
A bright light blinded you at the end of the path. When Luffy stops and lets you off his back carefully, you slowly adjust your eyes to the new surroundings.
But it wasn't the entrance as you might have hoped.
It was a lakeside.
A lakeside that is also full of various fairy folks - bathing and playing and hanging around one another.
It dawns on you that Ace had persuaded his brother to lead you to a trap.
“Hey, guys!” Luffy shouted, dragging you towards them, “I brought a new friend!”
A green-haired demon-like fae folk sighed exasperatedly, getting out of the water, “Luffy. How many times do we have to tell you not to bring any more weird people-”
That’s when his eyes landed on you.
Everything went quiet. Several eyes gazed upon you in interest for a few seconds.
And then it exploded into elated chatters.
Oh no.
“Luffy…” A blonde nymph-like man with swirly eyebrows eyed you as if his birthday came early, “You didn't tell me that you caught a human girl.”
His statement brought an ominous wonder to the rest of the occupants in the lake.
“Somehow, you know how to lighten our day, Luffy.” A fae with a top hat chuckled, already getting up from his position, and making his way carefully around you.
“Come little human, would you like to join us…?” A pretty maiden with long dark hair and piercing blue gaze, a Huldufolk, she recognized, put down her book, and extended her arm at her.
“Listen up, I want her first.” A large troll with red hair quipped, taking in your fearful form.
“Mind your turn, Eustass-ya,” Another fae, dark and attractive, scanned your visage, “It’s been a while since I have a human to play with. The last one didn’t last long on my table.”
An overwhelming sensation flooded your brain - the fae folks sauntered towards you closely, each with every step you took back. Luffy’s reckless decision had earned you a cold, hard target from every fae folk on your back. In a split second, you did the only thing you could think of.
You ran.
Several cries of “Come back!”, “Play with us!” rang all across the field. But you did not listen. No, not when every mere form of danger is right by your footsteps.
Hurt. Sickened. Betrayed. These are the only things that are in your mind. Oh, how foolish you are - no matter how good his intentions are, Luffy is still a fairy who plays tricks upon humans - and now you are his next victim.
Your mind is made up in determination when Luffy springs before you again, trying to explain something. By now, you have already pulled out the cross from your bag and brandished it upon Luffy who backed away.
“I shouldn’t have trusted you,” You growled dangerously, hovering the cross like a weapon.
“Wait! What’s-your-name, I can explain-!”
“Oh, you have already explained enough! Now begone!”
Luffy drew a wicked grin, “Yeah, I was planning to take you back…” Luffy circled you in a predatory manner, “...but my brother Ace had better plans.”
Luffy effortlessly dodged the cross that you had swiped at him, “GET AWAY FROM ME! I wasted enough time with you around! I’ll go home myself!”
“I like you, you’re interesting. Join my pack.” You gasped - Luffy’s arms started to stretch like rubber, coiling onto your other weaponless arm.
“I refuse!” You hissed, trying to escape from his bond.
“Then I refuse your refusal!” Luffy starts to lose his calmness, and he holds you even tighter, “Please Wet blankie! What’s-your-name! I promise you, they are not going to hurt you-!”
“Go away!” You screeched with all your might, pushing Luffy away and hoping that your cross might make a nick on him. You kept running, you could care less if Luffy begged you to stop, you can't simply look back. Perhaps you assumed that Ace summoned himself right next to Luffy, his eyes boring at your running form. He grabbed Luffy by his shoulder, in a regality fit for a king.
“Don't let her go, Luff,” Ace spoke, honeyed and full of dark intent, “All of us had waited years to have her back. We can’t lose her now.”
“No…” Luffy nodded, “I won’t. We’ll get her.”
-
There is nothing worse than to run from fairies and get lost again in their forest. Exhausted as you are, there is no willingness from you to yield from their relentless pursuit. You are going home, and that is final.
Then your nose picked up a salt-like scent. The ground is becoming more coarser as well. You finally realize that as you are busy fleeing for your life, you end up on a sandy beach. Not too distant from you is an ominous cave on the seawater, far too eerie to enter.
And yet, as if curiosity overrides your logic, you decided to take a closer look at it instead.
“Come here…” You jumped. There was a faint voice coming from the cave. So you know how to play this game. You firmly planted your foot into the sand, ignoring the voice that keeps persistently trying to coax you inside.
You crossed your arms and looked away.
The cave lets out a guttural growl - something comes out. You kept your fingers clenched onto the cross as a creature, a merman-like being, swims out, and reaches near you. Aside from his long hair, a striking feature of him is his strange triangle-shaped eyebrows that frame his sharp eyes.
“Must you be so stubborn, child? I know what was going on here, and I am here to help.” He drawled.
Basil Hawkins, the Marmennill, is here to lead you.

I saw you across the room
Summary: you walk into Rafes parties and the moment he lays eyes on you he knows he must have you.
A/N: rafe Cameron is definitely the type of person to have a soft spot for you, but only show it when no one else is around
-
You’re not really up to this party, your friend dragged you here because she had just broken up with her boyfriend and needed “emotional support”. Which really just meant drinking her sorrows away.
To be honest you weren’t really the type to go out to parties. More of the type to stay home and read a good book while petting your cat in bed, a home body. A girl who usually kept to herself. Although you knew there was a party being thrown almost every single night, this was figure 8 after all, you never found fascination in reality like you did when you would read.
“Ariella, I really don’t wanna be here” you whined and stomped your foot into the ground like a kindergartener refusing to go to the first day of school. “And this outfit-“ Ariella was your friend since grade school, she was so much more out going and confident than you and you have no idea why she chose to be friends with you but your lucky to have her. She chose your outfit tonight, a mini black dress with the cleavage cut practically down the middle. You always had big boobs and were told they were your best feature but you weren’t the type to expose your body like some other girls would. You liked being reserved, and you were happy in your own little bubble. “Girl, stop being like that! You look hot. And we’re gonna have fun tonight, please”
You rolled your eyes but let your friend drag you inside the tannyhill mansion. You knew she needed this. Despite putting on an act of toughness, you knew she was actually devastated about breaking up with her boyfriend. Ariella was the type to cry about it alone, but in a crowd she’d usually be the one cheering everybody up while dealing with her inner demons. And plus she’s put up with so much of your bullshit you figured she deserved a night of fun.
“Oh my gosh we’re gonna have so much fun tonight!” Ariellas face beamed as she scanned the room, finding her inner circle. “Go get us some drinks, I have to say hi to some people” she let go of your hand and there you were. Standing alone, in the middle of some strangers house, wearing the skimpiest dress you owned.
-
Rafe couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw you. Who were you? He’d never seen you before. He sure would have remembered if he’d fucked you. He’s probably been in every pussy on his god awful island. But you. He’s definitely never seen or been inside you, yet.
“Yo top” he nods his head in your direction, your in the kitchen pouring some drinks, “whose the chick?”
Topper eyes you up and down, “never seen her before” he goes back to explaining why basketball is better than football to some poor sap and dismissing rafe.
“Interesting” rafe says under his breath as he fixes his SnapBack and stands to make his way to you.
-
“So many drinks” you mumble to yourself as you skim the bottles lined up on the table. “Wonder which asshole this place belongs too” you scoff as you top off the two cups in front of you with some tequila.
“That would be me” your started as a voice speaks up behind you. Turning around you find a boy with a childish smirk on his face, wearing a SnapBack hat that you shouldn’t find so attractive but he makes it work, and a polo shirt and some slacks, typical figure 8 style. “The names-“
“Rafe” Ariella speaks up before the boy gets a chance. “Y/n, where have you been. I’ve been looking everywhere for you” Rafes face turns sour as he looks at your friend and then back to you. “You told me to get us some drinks” you raise the two solo cups, giving one to your friend. “Don’t even think about it” Ariella takes the drink and steps in front of you and rafe, giving him a death stare before turning around and dragging you off.
“What was that” you ask confused as she continues dragging you through the crowd, “just some asshole looking to get laid. Don’t let him even talk to you, y/n. Seriously, he’s not worth it”
-
As the rest of the night went on you got more comfortable, having had a few drinks and mingled with some of Ariellas friends.
You can’t help but feel like you’re being watched and every time you look up your eyes lock with Rafes. No matter where you were in the house you could feel his eyes on you, your body, your face.
It made you uncomfortable, but you’d be lying if you said it didn’t make your insides turn with excitement.
You were never the type to get attention from guys. There would be some that would talk to you, but they were only after one thing and although you’ve had sex before, it was never meaningful. You’ve never found anybody who cared for your feelings and actually wanted to take the time to get to know you before.
But looking into Rafes eyes something felt different. Sure maybe he also wanted you just for your body, but it also felt like there was a connection, something pulling your body’s together. And the fact that he was hot was just a plus, you’ve never been attracted to someone this bad before.
“I’ll be right back” you lean over to your friend who’s busy talking to some guy to really hear you. You know you shouldn’t leave her this drunk and vulnerable with some rando but you’ve had to pee for so long, you couldn’t hold it anymore.
You finally found the bathroom, doing your business and washing your hands before stepping out, only to bump into a broad body that smelled like whisky mixed with sandalwood, “so sorry-“ you excuse yourself.
“No worries, I was hoping we’d run into each other” that same childish smirk on his face. “I’m rafe, I’m sure your friend told you a little about me. But I’m not all bad, trust me” he winks and your insides melt. Why are you so attracted to him? From what Ariella told you he’s a douch bag, a sleeze who’s slept with almost every girl on this island, and yet you want him to do unholy things to you.
You clear your throat before talking, “ha, well she did tell me some things, but uh, I usually like to judge people based on my own opinion.”
Rafes completely mesmerized by you. He’s never seen a girl more beautiful, and he’s been with many. There’s something about you that’s caught his attention but he can’t figure out what. All he knows is that he’s seen you, and now he has to have you.
“Right, well what do you say we go somewhere more private and get to know one another?” He cocks an eyebrow at you, he can tell you wanna say yes but you’re worried. “Hey, no worries. I won’t try anything, promise” he throws his hand in the air to show you he won’t touch you. You can’t help but let out a small laugh and that sound alone has rafe melting. Your voice is like an angel and he wants to know what other sounds he can get out of you.
“I can’t just leave Ariella alone. She’s had a few drinks and she’s with some random guy.. I want to but I can’t be a bad friend” you start to walk away and Rafes heart aches, he doesn’t wanna let you go yet.
He looks over at where your friend is, she’s making out with Kelce, rafe smirks to himself. “Trust me, she’s in good hands. Kelce is a buddy of mine, he won’t do anything to her” he turns back to you, a waiting look on his face. And when you nod your head yes his heart all but does back flips. He can’t wait to get to know you better.

abby’s pov
walking into the seattle hospital, abby greeted everyone, hands in her white coats pockets as she entered her personal office.
Dr. Abigail Anderson
was written on the black door name slip, unlocking her door she slid her coat off, placing it behind her rolling chair before taking a seat herself, she starting on all the paperwork for surgeries she had to confirm for. a soft knock from her door only a few minutes after she walked in.
“come in” her eyes never adverting from her paper and signatures “hey abs, i got you coffee” owen chimed in, placing her favorite black coffee on the table near the doctor. “oh hey owen, thank you, how you been?” she finally focused her attention on her ex fiancé who unfortunately is neurosurgeon at the same facility.
“i’ve been the same, just curious, manny is having an engagement party next week on sunday, he finally proposed to ms. scientist” owen let out a chuckle, desperately trying to get his ex back. “yeah of course i’ll come, haven’t seen that pendejo in months” she crossed her arms, mans spreading in her chair.
“would you be wanting to come with me? yanno, for old times sake” he left out a breathy chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck “well, i was thinking if manny will let me, bring my close friend along instead” she only used close friend not wanting to assume your guys situation at the moment. seeing as owen clearly tensed up in his chair, he sat up straight.
“oh who’s the friend?” he could only curiously ask, not knowing what abby has been doing ever since she broke things off with him “her name is y/n, she’s pretty young but i think everyone would love her, she has the best humor i’ve ever seen” the muscular woman clearly swooning over the girl, even just saying her name gave her butterflies in her stomach.
“oh a girl” owen relaxed a bit, not seeing the very indicating signs that his ex was now fascinated with someone else, a woman. “i don’t think manny would mind at all, she’s probably harmless” he would’ve continued on the conversation until his pager started to go off “that’s my sign to see myself out, see you sunday abs” his gaze lingered a little longer before he left her office.
abby pulled out her phone, her big arms leaning on her desk as she carelessly scrolled through all your social media pages. abby being older didn’t understand that tiktok showed who was able to view your page, the doctor repeatedly watching all your videos, biting down on her bottom lip.
one thing about the cardiologist is that she loved to take things slow, first kiss on the third date, confirm the mutual feelings for each other, she will take her time to make sure its the perfect day to ask you to be hers.
abby hates having intimate moments over the phone, it’s classless unlike her who will take you out on the most magical date, wait till the moonlight is shining on your face, ocean waves flowing so heavily she has to give you her coat to ask you to be her girlfriend.
then theres you … who is literally the most impatient, impulsive girl anyone knows, how else did you get majority of your tattoos anyways? and how else did you end up with three cats that you had to sneak into your apartment to avoid the repulsive pet fee. you’ve gotten into god knows how many fights and arguments with random people because they looked at your loved ones the wrong way.
polar opposites
abby dialed your number into her phone, waiting as it rang for the first, second and third time before you picked up with “doctor? is there an emergency” you sarcastically gasped causing abby to snort “yes there is actually, i need you to be my date for my friends engagement party” she had a toothy smile over the phone, your voice already having her in a foolish daze.
“and how could i ever say no to that? it’s a date lady hulk” god that made her die of laughter “lady hulk? you’re so creative with your words baby” you swore up and down if she continued calling you these pet names you would get down on your knees and suck her str-“will you pick me up?” you spoke up “of course, i’m a lady, i’ll see you sunday and i’ll text you the time when i find out ok?” her little black box going off in the pocket of her fitted scrubs “sounds good to me doc” “bye sweetheart.”
she smiled oh so sweetly before hanging up the call, she could swear that she could listen to you talk nonstop and never get bored. getting up and wrapping the coat around her she dashed into the patients room “he’s having a stroke, close the curtains.”
sunday came creeping by sooner or later, abby who was getting dressed in a fitted long sleeve beige sweater that showed off her arms so well, black slacks with a belt wrapped around and her boots, her har as always in her signature braided ponytail.
she wrapped a cartier watch around her wrist, god she looked so expensive. abby grabbed her engagement present for her friends and headed out her house to swoop you up finally.
parked outside of your apartment she took her phone out to text her pinned contact, y/n 💕. (shes a old give her a break)
Hey, I’m outside.
coming! putting on my shoes loser
she watched as you exited the apartment complex, she couldn’t keep her damn eyes off of you, admiring every aspect of your outfit to the way your black skirt fitted your waist, your grey sweater that fell off your shoulder to the stunning way you layered your silver jewelry.
silver, got it.
she thought to herself, doing her usual thing and opening the door for you, the smell of your florally perfume hitting her like a drug that she can’t get enough of. “you look so so beautiful y/nn” she softly licked her lips, basically drooling over you.
you couldn’t even lie, you were doing the exact same thing, your jaw wanting to drop to the floor with how she had her sleeves rolled up halfway on her arms, god her arms. “you literally look tasty” you giggled causing her to grin.
y/n’s pov
it had been almost ten minutes since you and abby arrived at manny’s, abby having a glass of very expensive liquor in her hand while having you cling onto her other arm like you were showing her off, she loved the way you were wrapped around her.
“so y/n are you in school? majoring in anything?” owen brought up, he was burning holes into your face ever since you walked in holding abby like she was yours. “um no, i’m not in school, i just decided it wasn’t for me i think i rather just explore different things before i settle into one thing for the rest of my life” nora and mel were literally in awe of you, they loved that you were so open and honest.
“oh so what is it that you’re interested in doing?” mel smiled, genuinely wondering unlike owen who wanted to tear you limb from limb. “i think if i do want to school for something it would be veterinarian school, i adore animals.”
abby couldn’t keep her eyes off you, gently rubbing her fingers on your arm with a loving smile across her freckled face. “so do you work?” owen butted in once more “yeah i work at a small coffee shop” you gave him a tight lipped smile causing him to snicker “abby you found her at a coffee shop?” he remarked, he fucking hated that he would rather be with someone of working class than him.
abby was quick to defend you but you were quicker “listen white guy, not all of us our privileged enough to even afford to go to school, i will beat your ass if you keep talking” you jabbed your finger in his chest, everyone around chiming in to calm down the situation.
“oh please you’re the size of my fucking arm i can throw you around like a rag doll” abby pushed you behind her, grabbing the collar of owens button up, nostrils flaring as she threw him against the wall causing him to lose his breath for a minute. “keep talking owen and i will rip your god damn head off” she yelled before manny had to get in between the both of them.
“owen it’s time to go, guys the party is over just go home” he sighed defeated that owen managed to ruin a important day for him.
abby had taken you to her place, still in complete anger from what owen did. you sat on the edge of her bed as she undressed into something more comfortable, she walked back towards you, cupping your face in her hands making you look up at her, her thumbs softly caressing your face “i am so so sorry for what he did, i would have never let him touched you ever.” you held one of her hands that was holding your face and smiled up at her. “abs, i’m not mad at you i swear, plus why was he even coming at me?” you farrowed your brows in genuine confusion.
she sighed heavily, getting down on her knees in front of you, her hand still holding yours. “he’s my ex fiancé, he was jealous of you, why do you think i left him? he always had outbursts like that and i just couldn’t.” she shook her head disappointed “ew you were almost married to a man?” you looked at her in disgusted before turning into a ball of laughter “he’s so ugly, why?” you were curious “i can’t even tell you myself hun, here, i’ll grab you some of my clothes and you can stay here for the night ok?” you felt your stomach burst out in fireworks.
staying at her house? oh my god.

Jasper
Another boring day at this high school which means another tally added to the long list of days spent amongst hormonal teenagers for almost no reason.
Almost.
I understand the importance of learning to curb my hunger, to be able to assimilate into society as easily as my coven members. I crave the ability they possess to just exist in public without any hint of the monster that lies within. I’ll give it to Carlisle, not many places could I be immersed in an environment flush with humans, but also have the ability to blame my awkwardness with them on teenage hormones while I adjust. I’m not too keen on taking the risk with literal children, but the risk forces me to maintain a tighter grip on the bloodlust raging inside.
I still don’t like the experimentation of it all.
At least my adopted brothers and sisters are close by whenever I need. I hate that I’m not sure of myself yet, like I’m still in need of the crutch they provide should I need it. This is a never-ending war crawling under my skin. I should be strong enough to control this, I’m nearly 160 years old. I’ve commanded humans and vampires alike, why can I not command my own urges for blood?
I'm deep in my own mind walking alongside Emmett as he talks my ear off about his Jeep and the modifications he contemplates making tonight to kill time, and as we pass the front office to our high school, I nearly miss catching the door before it could crack me across the face.
Once I gain my bearings after the momentary shock of being caught in my thoughts, I let the door drift shut and look to the culprit-
Thoughts are foreign to me all of a sudden.
I immediately stop breathing in shock, my back goes rigid, and blinking becomes a thing of the past as my eyes connect with the most gorgeous girl I’ve ever seen.
I’ve never seen such a beautiful person, human or vampire, in my life. My eyes are greedy as I drink her in. From the white converse, worn overalls, the chunky sweater underneath to ward off the early morning chill, to her beautifully messy hair hastily clipped up in a twist at the base of her head - she’s a breath of fresh air and I’ve been submerged for over a century.
But what really catches me off guard is her scent. She smells like fresh lavender and something else so decadent I can’t quite put my finger on it. I can feel the beginnings of flames licking down my throat at just the microscopic inhale after releasing the door from my death-grip moments ago.
The scent of this bewitching girl had me in such a trance, enough that when Emmett delivers a clap to my shoulder to shake me from my thoughts, I didn’t even realize he was chuckling at my expense.
“Oh god I’m so sorry! I was so focused on my schedule that I didn’t even see you-“ she immediately began apologizing.
“No need to worry, doll. It’ll require a little more than a door to take me out.” I immediately interrupted her nervous rambling. Did I really just say that?
“Jasper Hale.” I stuck my hand out for her to shake, trying to start this introduction all over on the right foot.
I noticed her glance to my outstretched hand and back up to my face as her warm hand slid into mine.
“Y/n, Y/n Y/l/n.” She replied, still looking a little surprised. She squeezed my hand a little before allowing hers to slip from mine.
Just from the small amount of skin to skin contact with this beautiful girl, everything inside of me roars to life. I’m worried that if I glance at my hand, I’ll see the skin crawling from where the heat of her hand lingers.
Surprise, worry, anxiety, embarrassment, self-deprecation, awe - the emotions a rolodex scrolling in rapid succession in the forefront of my mind. The shock of meeting her momentarily throwing my supernatural ability for a loop. I haven’t had such shit control over the emotions surrounding me since I was a newborn vampire.
I’ve never had such an interesting reaction to something, or rather someone, before - it scares me slightly. I can only gape as Y/n turns and makes her way quickly to class.

Can someone die from stupidity?
I’m at my new high school for less than an hour and I’ve already made the biggest fool of myself. I almost just took out the most attractive human being at this school by complete accident.
After introducing myself to Jasper Hale, I hastily turned around and booked it for my first class in the hopes to avoid further insult to injury.
Smooth, Y/n. Real fucking smooth.

next chapter
seven ,, miguel’s POV
“You have some cojones, Miguel O’Hara.”
My eyes slowly lift from the place where they were once glued, the small tree. It still stands, the shattered and jagged bite of glass the most unavoidable ornament. Right in the enter for my eyes to see.
It’s been a week, one week of plain, suffocating normality. No clumsy girl, no doe eyes that I can only seem to fill with tears. No intimidating someone who I can’t guess the reaction of, no excitement.
My girls must feel it too. Maybe they liked having those stupid ribbons and pearly white smile bouncing around the office. Maybe they liked the distraction. Too bad. It’s better this way…
“Jessica, mi amor— though I always enjoy your visits in with me-”
She raises a suspicious brow at my words but I continue before she takes the first chance she can to interrupt me, as always…
“Today isn’t the day.” It really, truly fucking isn’t.
I sound apathetic, unbothered. Truthfully, I am bothered. I am bothered because it's been a week and yet I feel this uncomfortable burning at my mind. It’s inhuman, unnatural. I’ve yelled at dozens before, girls even sweeter than her. Girls with pretty eyes and pouty lips, melting into expressions of horror and sorrow. It was expected, needed. They needed to become better, to not be weak.
So why the fuck do I feel like I was in the wrong this time?
Jessica, coiled locks tamed back with a headband and stomach protruding with her soon to be first-born, she huffs as she sits down on my corner chair.
“This still work?” She asks. Stupid question. I regard her with dark, annoyed eyes and a single nod. She immediately presses the button, then heat and vibrations engulf her. She moans in content, enjoying the ease of tension in her back from carrying that child around.
“Oh yeah, it does. God I love this thing.” Her voice is vibrating.
Good, she should. It’s for her anyways. There’s no other moody, bossy and inhumanly hungry pregnant woman in sight. Gracias a Dios. Me mataría.
She’s distracted, I believe for a second that maybe I’ve just been saved by that expensive fucking chair but oh no, lately I’m just proving to be an unlucky bastard. She talks again.
“Where was I… oh yeah, that’s the problem, Miguel. It’s never the day with you. But shit, when I get curious and decide to check those security tapes and see you caging a small girl against the wall and making her hunch over in fear? Today is gonna have to be the day. What the fuck happened to morale? Why couldn’t you take it out on Moon, on someone we know, at least.” She doesn’t understand, I don’t expect her to.
I narrow my eyes, lifting from my seat. I don’t like being on her level. I feel suffocated there, with all these questions. Boss of my own empire and yet I’m getting an inquisition by a woman I hired. Regardless, my mind is clearer when I stare out at the city, looking down at all those people. I feel big, powerful. Like I know everything. I do, mostly. This time though? I don’t.
Me está volviendo loco.
And that’s because of that fucking girl. Es un misterio, un enigma. Never in my life have I sat across from someone I don’t fucking understand. I didn’t get this successful from not understanding the idiots around me, no. But her? I didn’t expect the dramatics.
“I don’t always like what I have to do, but I know I have to be the one to do it. Involving my personal life into her work is not only inappropriate but it is disrespectful.” I sound uninterested, lazed with my words. I know Jessica, they won’t be enough for her.
“You know what’s inappropriate? Your employees watching Lacy walk into your office in shorts that barely cover her nonexistent ass. You think they don’t know you’re banging her in between meetings?”
My jaw ticks, and I exhale all the air from my lungs through my nose.
“I know they know.”
I do. I do and I don’t give a shit what they think. I have urges, needs. No, not wants. Needs. Uncontrollable, demanding. My eyes glaze over my window, memories of fucking Lacy here with her pretty tits hung for the world to see. The thought brings me peace.
Jessica leans forward or tries too with that protruded stomach of hers.
“Oh you do. Okay, right. So that’s okay but a picture of Gabby isn’t?”
Gabby.
Mi princesa.
The name is like the crown on Medusa’s head. But I don’t let it freeze me, no. I don’t let it stop me from moving. Working. Breathing. Reacting. I react. I react before it can stop me and if that stupid girl would’ve done as she was told, she wouldn’t have had to be on the other side of those reactions.
I hate it.
Fucking hate it when they utter her name. Jessica… she’s lucky she’s pregnant and lucky she’s Jessica because coño, I would case her up against the wall too if she wasn’t.
“No, Jessica. It’s not okay. Lacy equates to a fucking— masseuse.” I snap.
“She’s massaging something alright.” She interjects.
“Carajo.” I exhale, reaching angrily at my silk handkerchief and tossing it with force to the leather loveseat. There’s no winning with her. Back in my throne, I collapse.
She’s infuriating, and she’s lecturing me over a girl that was only here for a week and has already caused so much trouble. Me está dando vueltas la cabeza.
“What is it Jessica, huh? What— are you dumbstruck by her stupid ribbons and worn-out clothes too?” It’s the only explanation for this. The girl must be a witch.
She sucks her teeth at that,
“Nope. I never even met the girl. Seems like it’s you that’s dumbstruck.”
Me?
That thought… it’s stupid.
My fists clench, a sting of pain burning at the place where she dug those nails into me. There’s skin dented there.
“Cállate.” I warn. But she’s Jessica. She’s not Mary Jane, not Cindy or any of my other obedient girls. Es un dolor de cabeza.
To no surprise, she does anything but shut the fuck up.
“Look, I could give less of a shit if your dick does a dance for her or not—”
“Dios mío…” She’s gone crazy.
“My point is— we don’t know her. We don’t know her, and she could talk. She could tell the story of how you emotionally and fuck— almost physically assaulted her to the Bugle and then what?”
I shake my head at that. She’s fucking wrong.
“I would never put my hands on her.” Not her. Not any woman.
Jessica displays two defeated palms up in the air, annoyance laced in their lines.
“But ya did, Miguel. You did when you grabbed her chin. And wether you and I know that it was softly or not, it doesn’t fucking matter. It’s about what they believe, what they see and you look psychotic on that tape.”
I turn my face from her, grinding my teeth as I search my mind for a way to answer back. To explain.
I can’t. I can’t and it makes me angrier.
“You’re not invincible, Miguel. People get tired of your shit and we agreed. We agreed that if you kept the reins on your issues, it would be enough. You don’t have to come to the gatherings or the holiday meetings. They know you don’t give a shit about any of them-”
“They’re employees.” I interrupt. Their job is to follow my orders and keep smiles on their pretty faces. That is morale.
“Yeah, they’re employees and they don’t get paid enough to deal with your shit.”
My eyes say it all, she knows that’s not true. Their checks are full. My girls have paid off debt, bought houses, taken vacations and bought all their materialistic heart desire. Some within their first year with me. Jessica sighs, shaking her head at my stubbornness. Silence blankets us and I fucking prefer it that way.
“My point is that people can walk, Miguel. They can walk when they aren’t happy. When they read the outsiders input on your bad behavior. Nobody wants to work for an asshole and fuck, I don’t blame her for walking out. Actually, I respect her for it. The girl’s shoes are practically falling off of her feet and she’s wearing skirts in the winter, yet it looks like she’d rather starve on those ice-cold New York City streets than work for someone who spits on her effort and time.”
Her words strike me silent. It seems like Jessica Drew is the only one who can make me have nothing to say. Què maravilla. I won’t admit that it’s because she’s right. She isn’t.
She might be.
My silence, it prompts her to continue. She shuts the seat off, groaning as she stands to her feet. She waddles to me, one hand on my cherrywood desk as she bows her head to speak to me.
“Look, I know this shit isn’t easy. I get that. You and I? We’re day ones. Peter and I watched you build this company up from the ground. We watched you make something of yourself. The bastard kid out of Nueva York turned into the bastard man above it. And I- … I lost her too, Miguel. Lost her. I didn’t forget her, and I sure as fuck don’t want to run from her. If someone was so fucking kind enough to put effort into making me that—”
Her eyes glow golden as they fall upon the small tree, on the shattered ornament with that beautiful, delicate smile. My girl. Against my own will, I find myself stuck, gazing at it too.
“Shit, maybe I’d promote them. That? That’s special, it’s kind. Most people don’t have the guts to do that, especially not for a boss— let alone a new one… but as always, you’ve laid down the cement on yet another grave. No chance in hell she comes back, no chance we fix this before Jameson gets his dirty hands on it.”
Jameson. Maldito cerdo.
It was his men that he sent out that day. All of them gathered up on my doorstep like fucking vultures, flashing their lights at the place where my baby girl just— fuck...
He was a lucky son of a bitch that day. I would’ve snapped that cockroach’s neck if it weren’t for Murdock.
Fuck…
I don’t like loose ends. No, I don’t like being wrong. I strive every day of my life to be anything but it. I was wrong once. And look what it cost me? My baby’s life. I won’t make the same mistake again. Not with my company.
Sure as hell not because of the balding bastard and a delicate girl with ribbons in her hair.
No.
“I’ll convince her.” I will. I’ll mail her check with a note attached. An invitation back. Maybe I’ll raise her pay. She could use it, anyway.
But Jessica fucking Drew. Always finding microscopic holes in my plans. She laughs at me.
She fucking laughs at me as she straightens her back, hands resting on the place where her baby kicks.
“Sure, good luck with that. She might’ve hunched over and cried but damn— I saw the way she dug those nails into you. She’s a tough one… besides, I think it’s best If you keep away. Don’t wanna make their new front cover story more interesting.”
Que mierda.
I raise my hand, pinching at the place where tension pools between my brows. Fucking Jessica. Analytical, frustrating, and always convinced she’s right.
She is tough… that girl. Un fuego.
I saw it when she sat in my chair and dug her nails into it, and I saw it when she dug her nails into me. I saw it when she pushed my hand away, straightened up and wiped those tears off her pretty face like they were nothing more than meaningless water on her skin. She turned her back on me. No one ever does. No one has ever not succumbed to my hand. And she’s lucky, I never offer comfort to any of the girls I yell at. No, they don’t need it. They’d accept it, regardless. Not her.
Un enigma.
Jessica sighs, turning from me and finally leaving me to be. Leaving me with no solutions, only loose ends. She must feel my eyes burning holes into her back. Frustrated fucking holes. She stops.
Carajo.
I sigh now, allowing my eyes to fall shut into the comfort of darkness. A place behind my lids where no Jessica Drew exists.
“There’s another gathering tonight, actually. Perfect way to win your people back before you even lose them.”
She’s smiling, she’s proud of her stupid little idea. I don’t need to open my eyes to see it. The ache in my neck makes my head fall into my palms— and though every part of me wants to tell her to get out?
“What time, Jessica?”

Tumblr media
Pairing: Chris Sturniolo X Female Reader💌
Synopsis: Chris feels like Y/N deserves more. And what better way to show this than to take her to her favorite place.🌻
Warnings⚠️: None at all. This shit is just soooo CUTEEEE😭
Song for the imagine: Nothing Even Matters-Lauryn Hill (feat. D’Angelo)
Ardor
Noun
Enthusiasm or passion
Lately Chris and his brothers have been super busy between creating content and touring, that I hadn’t really had a chance to spend time with my boyfriend. Even though the tour ended, and they were back in LA they immediately started filming for their channel.
Personally I didn’t mind this, yes I missed my boyfriend, but this was his job. He always still made time to text me, call me, send me flowers, take me on a few dates.
However this was bothering Chris as he felt like he hasn’t really been able to sit and spend time with me. No matter how many times I told him I didn’t care he still protested against it.
“Y/N no! I feel like I haven’t been here for you, and we haven’t really spent a good amount of time together” Chris would say as we sat on the couch with his arm slung over my shoulder
“Baby, we’re spending time together right now” I told him
“Yes, but also no. I want to be with you, and only you and just spend every second glued at the hip. I want to stare into your eyes and watch the stars, all that romantic movie shit” he told me kissing me on the forehead
“Chris you hate that corny shit” I said laughing
“I’m a changed man mama” he said laughing
“We should take a trip one of these days. Just go to another state and get away” I told him
“Yeah let’s say fuck it and go to like Vermont or some shit” he said back to me
“Oh my god Vermont is so pretty during this time of the year. With all the orange and yellow leaves” I said getting excited
That was two weeks ago, and within a day Chris was getting everything booked. The flight, the Airbnb, the activities. All while I had no idea. Chris had surprised me one day telling me where we were going.
And that brings it to now. We had just got to a small little house in Vermont surrounded by the beauty of the woods and the orange and yellow leaves falling to the ground.
“Baby this is the best thing you have ever done” I told him as we settled into the house
“Anything for my pretty lady” he told me coming over and grabbing me by the waist, pulling me in for a kiss
“Chris I love you so much” I told him kissing him back
“I love you way more pretty girl” he said kissing me on the forehead
We had got to Vermont at 2, and by the time we settled in we decided we wanted to walk to the nearest town and find something to eat.
There was a small town within a 10 minute walk. Chris and I headed out, and as we got into the town we truly enjoyed how tight knight the community was.
“Man I could live here forever” I said looking at every store we passed
“Could you really?” He asked looking over at me
“100%, it’s so small and pretty, and quiet” I told him
“Maybe we could make that happen in the future” he said kissing my hand that he was holding
We had stopped at a small mom and pop restaurant. We sat, and decided to look at the menu.
“Ouu everything looks good” Chris said
“Chris you’re such a picky eater you better ask for chicken tenders and fries” I told him laughing
“Hey! Not nice, but also not wrong” he said laughing
We were interrupted by the waitress
“Hi guys! How are you my names Ari, and I’ll be your server for today” she said smiling at us
“Could I get you started with drinks?” She asked us
“May I have a Dr. Pepper?” I asked her smiling up at her
“And may I have a pepsi” Chris asked, and I laughed. Him and his Pepsi addiction
After we got our drinks we ordered. And the whole time we were laughing at each other, and he was reminiscing about the tour, and how much he loved meeting his fans.
A little while later the waitress came back with our check
“I’ve never seen you guys around here” she said handing the check to Chris who had his hand out
“Oh we’re visiting!” I told her looking up at her
“Ahhh I see! Thats nice. Are you guys on a honeymoon” she asked
“Oh uh-“ but I was cut off by Chris
“Yeah something like that” he said handing her the check back with cash
“Oh that’s so nice! You guys should check out the little cafe across from here! They sell the best homemade cookie dough!” She said
“Thank you! We will” Chris said, “oh and keep the change” he told her
She thanked him and walked away. We walked over to the cafe and purchased some cookie dough, and decided to walk back hand in hand.
“I can’t thank you enough for doing this for me” I said looking over at Chris
“I’m glad you’re loving it pretty mama” he said kissing me on my temple
We had got back to the house, and decided to make some cookies
“CHRIS THATS TOO BIG” I yelled as he rolled a ginormous ball of a cookie
“HA! That’s what she said” he said pointing his finger at me
“Chris…you’re such a child” I told him snatching the huge cookie ball out of his hand and breaking it into smaller pieces
“But you love it” he responded looking over at me
“I really do” I said smirking at him
I put the cookies in the oven, and set a 12 minute timer
“Babe! They have a glass lanai” Chris said running back into the kitchen
“They do???” I said excited
“We have to eat our cookies out there” he said, and I agreed
After the cookies were done I took them out and put them on a plate, and we walked out to the lanai
“Holy shit this is beautiful” I said placing the plate down on the coffee table
“Isnt it” he said looking at me
“I’m a whore for glass lanais” I told him sitting down on the couch
“Interesting choice of words, but yes” he said laughing and also sitting down next to me
He grabbed two cookies, and then sat back, wrapping his arm over my shoulder, and pulling me in towards him
“Here you go my love” he said giving me a cookie
“Thank you” I responded taking the cookie from him and biting into it
“I would’ve never thought I’d be sitting here eating cookies with you, and madly in love” he said eating his cookie
“I would’ve never thought either. You were such a player” I said looking at him to see his reaction
“What?” He said with his jaw dropped
“God we used to hate each other so much” I told him finishing my cookie
“We really did. Never understood why. When you’re the best thing to have ever happened to me” he said also finishing his cookie
“I guess I was scared of falling for the “bad” guy” i told him
“And I was so scared of commitment” he told me
“Isn’t it strange? How people can change from strangers to friends, and then friends into lovers” I asked him
“It truly is, and I’m so glad we did. I love you so fucking much. Like I get emotional and shit” he said pretending to wipe a tear
“Chris, I love you so much. I have no idea what I’d do without you” I told him kissing his cheek
“I think I’d die without you” he said looking at me
“I think I’d die too” I said going in to kiss him
When we pulled away we stared into each others eyes just truly enjoying each others company
I leaned my head back and looked up at the night sky
“Look babe, the stars are shining so bright tonight” I told Chris while pointing at the sky
“Fuck this is so beautiful” he said looking up at the sky with me
“You got your wish. To watch the night sky with me” I told him
“And look how bright they’re shining for you” he said back
“I never want to leave this feeling” I responded back to him
“Me neither” he said
“Chris, I love you so much. This is a love I’ve never felt for anyone. My heart just bursts anytime I look at you, and when I’m with you all my problems are just a mere afterthought” I said to him still looking up at the night sky
“Y/N when I’m with you I never want to leave the moment. I want to hold on to you forever and always. I was so scared of loving someone because I felt I couldn’t get that love back, but you….you showed me new ways to be loved every single day” he said also still looking at the sky
“Out of my mind in love with you” I said back
“I hope in every lifetime you choose me” Chris said back
“Always Chris. I will always choose you” I said snuggling tighter to him
“Good because I will always choose you” he said kissing my head
“It was always you, and it will always be you” I said back to him
Chris let a tear slip out of his eye. Overwhelmed by the immense love he feels for Y/N, and that he’ll always have her no matter what. Chris loved Y/N with every fiber in his body, but most importantly Y/N loved Chris.
The End
I know this is pretty short, but I don’t like to drag out cute stories, but also Idk wtf to say, but I hope you enjoyed❤️

Manchester Memories (Ona Batlle x Reader)
Tumblr media
Part two to this fic, I recommend you read part one first.
Did you really just pull an Amy? As if on cue, your phone started ringing: FaceTime, Amy.
“Hey Ames, how’s Par-” “Y/N What the fuck!?” She cut you off. You looked at her questioningly. “What, are you like, eating truffle stuffed golden oysters for breakfast?” She yelled at the screen. You realise she must have noticed your excessive spending on her creditcard. “Yeah, sorry about that.” You started, suddenly looking away from the camera. “I figured I deserved it though, given you just ditched me last moment.” “Hm.” Amy took a moment to consider your argument. “Okay, fair enough. But it has to end here!” “Fine, I’ll stop.” You chuckled. “Seriously though what did you eat?” She asked. “I may have ordered breakfast for two.” You mumbled. “Were you that hungry?” Amy started, before noticing your cheeks starting to flush. “OH MY GOD, you had a guest! You should’ve just started with that. I’d love to financially support your love- and/or sex life!” Amy shrieked. “Amy, Jesus, calm down. Yes I had someone over. It was fun. Now let’s move on, how’s Paris?” You quickly changed the subject. “How’s erm, I feel like his name is Logan, or Levi?” “It’s Lewis, actually. Paris is beautiful, so is Lewis, formidable guy, great in bed, blah blah blah.” She quickly summed up. “Now we’ve gotten that out of the way: TELL. ME. EVERYTHING! Spare no details.” Knowing very well she wasn’t going to drop this, you told her the whole story, starting at the coffeeshop.
“Oh my god Y/N/N.” she said when you had finally finished your story. “What?” “You’re in looove!” She teased. “Wha- no I’m not. I just met her yesterday.” “Doesn’t matter, you are sweet for the Spaniard, mad for the Mancunian, lovesick for lobster-girl, enamorado de la chica española!” As much as you wanted to hang up and hide the smile on your tomato-red face, you couldn’t help but laugh at her quickly devised alliterations. “Shut up, Ames.” You mumbled in between laughs. “Oh man, I’ve only once seen you this flustered before, you’re in deep mate.” She said. “Whatever,” you answered. “I’m only here for a few days anyways.” “Now don’t be like that Y/N/N, you can always move to Manchester. Do it for looooove.” “Okay calm down. I have a life to go back to remember? I’m not like you Amy.” “Well, I’m not so sure about that anymore.” She chuckled. “Anyways, I have to go. Lewis is taking me to the Eiffel Tower. At least promise me you’ll make the most out of the time you have together?” “Yeah, I will. Have fun Ames!” “You too babes, talk to you soon!”
The next two days were spend on cloud 9. Ona had a busy training schedule, but made an effort to text you in between sessions whenever she could. As soon as she was done you’d meet up and hang out the rest of the day. You went on many walks, talked about anything and everything, visited random places in Manchester Ona had never even heard about and just enjoyed each others presence. You were pretty sure you were already gaining abs from all the fits of laughter you two shared. By the evening of the second day, neither of you felt like going out for dinner anymore, and Ona offered to cook for you at her apartment. Her roommate was staying at her girlfriends house, so you had the place all to yourself. You filled up on the Ona’s dinner (which was delicious by the way), before cuddling up on the couch to attempt watching the Lion King again. You actually finished the movie this time which you then, as Ona stated, had to celebrate. You happily obliged, and you spend the night there, leaving your luxurious hotel suite empty for the night.
You woke up to the sound of keys rumbling and the front door opening and closing. You turned around to discover your human pillow was no longer there. You found a note saying: “Off to get us some breakfast. Back in a bit.” You decided to stay in bed, hoping to persuade Ona into coming back to bed. “Ona!” A voice called, that clearly didn’t belong to Ona herself. You panicked, desperately grasping around you in search of something to cover up your nakedness. As you heard footsteps approaching the room you were in, you quickly picked up the nearest shirt you could find, which was the one Ona wore yesterday. You had barely put it over your head when the door flew open. “Ona have you seen my shin p- Oh. You’re not Ona.” The blond girl in the dooropening stated. “That is correct” The both of you were quiet for a second, whilst her eyes scanned over your messy hair, the clothes scattered on the floor and Ona’s shirt you were wearing, which you now realised was on backwards. “You erm, want some coffee or something?” She asked. “Yeah, sure” you said quietly. The blond girl, which you assumed was Ona’s roommate, finally closed the door, giving you some time to actually put some clothes on. You went to the kitchen and she handed you a cup. “I’m Millie by the way.” She smiled. “Hi, I’m Y/N” “So,” she started “you must be the reason Ona has been so absent these past days.” She chuckled, seeing your cheeks flush in embarrassment. Before you could answer you heard the jingling of keys. “Thank god.” You thought to yourself.
“Millie!” Ona shouted, also turning red immediately. “What are you doing here?” “Forgot my shin pads. Good morning to you too by the way” She was now grinning, clearly very amused about what she walked in on. You and Ona exchanged some looks as she mouthed “I’m sorry” to you. “Oh I love this. Everyone is going to hear about this at training later.” Millie teased, winking at you. “Are you bringing her tonight?” She asked, turning to look at Ona. Ona didn’t answer, instead just looking at you with a bittersweet smile. You both knew you had to leave this afternoon, so this was your last day together. “All right then, guess I’ll leave you two to it” Millie said when no one answered her question. After she shut the door you both burst out laughing, letting out all the tension from before. “Sorry about that.” Ona said once she recovered.
You plopped down on the couch whilst Ona started unpacking the breakfast she got you. “We are having a small party tonight. You could come if you want to?” She asked. You hesitated for a bit. “Ona, you know I-” “Please Y/N, one more night?” She now stood in front of you, handing you a plate and looking at you with a shy smile. You’d already skipped your plans to go to Birmingham to extend your Manchester stay, but you had promised to meet up with a friend in London, and you didn’t want to become a true Amy by ditching them. But damn the puppy dog eyes staring into your soul at that very moment sure made becoming an Amy very tempting. You gathered all your self-control: “I can’t, I- I don’t even have a place to stay and-” “Stay here, with me, por favor Y/N I-” She was practically jumping up and down at this point, when her hopeful expression suddenly changed. “I’m sorry, I’m being way to pushy. You don’t have to stay.” She hastily left to grab some cutlery, missing the pitiful expression in your face. “Ona” you said softly, following her into the kitchen. She didn’t look up from the drawer she was rummaging through. “One more night, but I leave in the morning. Bueno?” She turned around, dropping everything she had in her hands and ran towards you. She embraced you as her strong arms easily lifted you up in the air and you wrapped your legs around her waist. “Thank you thank you thank you” she said and you felt her smile into your neck.
The rest of the day went by pretty quickly. Ona went to training, where she’d presumably be interrogated about the discovery her roommate made this morning. You went back to your hotel to gather your stuff and pack your suitcase. After checking out, you decided to do some shopping. You went to a thrift store for a bit, but grew tired of it quickly, remembering you don’t actually enjoy shopping. When you walked back out, you noticed an adorable little jewellery store in the alley across the street. You walked in to be met with the friendliest smile you had ever seen from the elderly woman behind the counter. You looked around for a while, until you laid your eyes on a golden necklace with a little lion on it. “The perfect souvenir.” you thought.
“You ready?” Ona screamed through the bathroom door. “Almost” you answered, putting on your new necklace before opening the door. “You look great. I like the necklace” Ona said upon seeing you. “Thank you, so do you.” You smiled. “You ready?” She asked again, making sure you're okay with going out to meet all of her teammates. “They can be quite intense, just so you know.” She looked ay you questioningly. “I will be fine, Hakuna Matata, no worries.” You smiled softly. She smiled back. “Hakuna Matata.”
“Hi! Nice to meet you, I’m Alessia.” Said the girl opening the door for you. “Hi, I’m Y/N.” You held out your hand but she quickly pulled you into a tight hug. You walked into the apartment to find that chaos had already erupted. Girls screaming random things at each other left and right. “See, I told you, intense.” Ona chuckled at your at your stunned expression. “Now come on, I’ll introduce you”. The following hour she dragged you across the room, introducing you to basically everyone there. Some teasing happened, but for the most part everyone had been really nice. As the night progressed everyone started getting tipsier. The music was turned up and people started to dance. Some of the girls you met earlier dragged you onto the dance floor and you danced with them for a while.  When you walked into the kitchen for a drink, Alessia was already there, preparing some snacks. “Enjoying yourself?” She asked. “Yes, everyone is being so nice to me.” You smiled. “Of course we are. We wouldn’t dare be rude to a girl Ona speaks so highly of.” She grinned. “She does?” You blushed. “She does. She really likes you Y/N. She couldn’t stop talking about you at training today.” You smiled softly at her words. “I really like her too.” You said, staring at the ceiling in thought. “But you’re leaving tomorrow, right?” Alessia’s words put you right back down on earth, you felt a knot in your stomach and the soft smile disappeared from your face. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have brought it up. Forget I ever said anything.” She put a reassuring hand on your shoulder. “It’s okay, really, you’re not wrong.” You said, quickly looking away as you felt your eyes starting to water. “I’m just going to get some fresh air.” You hastily turned around, hoping she didn’t notice.
“Y/N?” You heard a familiar voice coming from behind you. The cold air on your skin actually helped, slightly numbing your sadness, as you sat on a bench outside. “Are you okay?” She asked, slowly approaching you. “Here, put your coat on, you’ll catch a cold.” Ona handed you your coat. The cold was no longer numbing enough once you looked into the beautiful eyes that now seemed to be looking into your soul. It simultaneously soothed you and broke you down, ultimately causing you to release a single tear. Ona quickly sat down next to you wrapping both arms around you. “Can you tell me what’s up?” She asked softly. “Tomorrow, I have to go.” You spoke quietly. She hugged you tighter, putting her head in the crook of your neck. You sat in silence for a bit, enjoying her embrace, when you felt something wet in your neck. You pulled away from the embrace to see she was now also getting teary eyed. You cupped her face and you both stared at each other. There was no point in trying to hold it in anymore, and both of you started sobbing uncontrollably. Then, somehow, the sobbing turned into laughter. You sat together laugh-crying for a while before you took a deep breath and said: “Come on, let’s have some fun while we still can, okay?” You finally said, standing up and reaching out your hand. “Yes, let’s do that. Hakuna Matata.”
You went back inside and Ona immediately dragged you to the dance floor, ignoring all the stares from her teammates at your tear-stained faces. The both of you danced like there was no tomorrow, and the rest of the girls joined in. Ona was about to attempt the worm, when the song suddenly changed. You immediately recognised it: Can you feel the love tonight, from the Lion King.
You turned around to see Millie had taken control over the phone connected to the speaker, smirking at the two of you. “You told them?” You chuckled. Ona blushed as you grabbed her hand, pulling her closer to you. You put your head on her shoulder as slow danced together for the whole duration of the song, not noticing how everyone had left the dance floor to leave you two be. When the song was ending you lifted your head back up, but you didn’t break the embrace. You gazed into each others eyes for a bit, before slowly closing the space between you for a slow, passionate kiss. It ended rather abruptly however, when the Spice Girls sudden blasted through the speaker. “No no no, stupid autoplay” Millie sprinted back to the phone to turn it off as fast as she could. “Sorry about that. Don’t mind me, please continue.” You both giggled as she sprinted away again. “Want to get out of here?” Ona asked. “Yes please”
You woke up to the sound of soft snores. You lay there looking at the beautiful girl in front of you for a while, taking it all in one last time, before quietly leaving the bed. You decided against waking her, instead you left a note on her nightstand:
“Thank you for everything, I had an amazing time with you, you made Manchester magical. I will never forget it.
Adéu Ona, Te echaré de menos.
Love,
Y/N
PS: Hakuna Matata”
You put your necklace with the little lion on it next to the note and placed a small kiss on Ona’s forehead. As you opened the door to leave the room, a small ray of light fell on her face. You glanced at the scene a little longer than intended, until you noticed her eyelids had slightly started to tremble. You quickly made your way out, taking a deep breath before closing the front door.
As you walked towards the busstation, you smiled at the sun starting to rise and suddenly, Amy’s words came to mind: “Make the most out of the time you have together.” That you did.

I have so many feelings about the first Hunt and it’s aftermath from 2x08 & 09! Apologies for the word-vomit below this.
I never thought it would happen, but dare I say, Travis has become one of my favorite characters this season.
As an older sibling, I was right there with Travis these last two episodes. His guilt and grief in Storyteller hit very close to home for me and I just.
Right after the crash, everyone looked to Travis to take care of Javi, even when he was still trying to process the fact that he had just watched his father fall out of a fucking plane. He dug up his father’s rotting corpse in order to get a ring to help Javi grieve and remember their dad. He spent months walking 7 miles in every direction every day looking for Javi. And after all that, Javi still died. Not only did Travis lose his father, but now he’s lost his brother for the SECOND TIME. To make it worse, Javi was safe, he wasn’t picked! But then Travis decided to protect Natalie, and from the looks of it, he was ready to take her place; he threw himself in front of the door behind her and stood with a knife at his throat (for the second time oh my god these girls). I missed it before, but Travis looked to Javi and whispered his name after the Hunt went after Nat, he asked Javi to protect Natalie when he couldn’t. And doesn’t that make it so much worse? Up until then, Javi had been running away from the violence. Travis asked him to step up and take care of Natalie, someone they both grew to love. Javi became just like his big brother, and he died for it.
Side note: Travis is a better man than me because if that was my sister trust and believe I’d have done more than send them on a guilt trip, even if I was starving!! Not to soft quote Queen Ramonda here but HAS HE NOT GIVEN EVERYTHING?! His dad died while helping the girls put on their oxygen masks during the crash, Javi died so that the rest of them wouldn’t starve. His whole family died saving the Yellowjackets! Ben didn’t eat Jackie OR Javi and he’s still alive and kicking and burning down cabins, our girls SICK AND TWISTED (said with love). Even in the Donner Party, they made sure they ate in separate groups so that families would not have to eat each other or watch as their loved ones were eaten.
Anyway, I’ve seen a lot of people harping on Travis for telling Van that they should all be ashamed of what they did, and god it makes me so upset. Y’all can excuse hunting your friends and cannibalism but not a grieving teenage boy lashing out after the murder of his little brother??!! Like, the first thing Travis did when he saw his brother’s body was try to untie his hands because he’s not an animal he’s just a kid, and then cradled him like a baby, only to have his body taken from him moments later to be dismembered and butchered.
As the youngest of the survivors, Javi was someone who, by normal conventions, should have been protected by the rest of the group. Of course Travis needs them to be ashamed of what they did, he blames himself for Javi’s death just as much as he does then, if not more!! Travis was supposed to protect him and he failed him!!
I understand that Travis is not a fan favorite by a long shot and Van is one of the most popular characters in the show, which might be skewing the perception of this scene a bit, but I think the people who are dunking on Travis here are missing the point a little? Yes, Van gave him some brutal honesty and was well within her rights to do so. However!! Travis also gets to be pissed at the Yellowjackets. The fact is: they absolutely SHOULD be ashamed, but they’re not. They fully COULD HAVE saved Javi, but they didn’t. Javi was not the one who drew the card, but he died anyway. Why was Javi’s life worth less than Lottie’s, who might have died on her own? Because they liked her more? Because he was more expendable? No matter how much you justify it, Javi did not NEED to die. None of it was fair. That’s the point, that’s the tragedy of it all!
Lottie Matthews really dropped the thesis of the show: “Is there a difference?”
It doesn’t matter if there was some supernatural entity out there who “chose” Javi to die, it would have happened anyway. It’s much easier to stand by and watch a boy drown than to do the killing yourself. They were starving, he was there. Even if the Wilderness chose, the Yellowjackets chose, too.
Circling back a bit, I also want to talk about the difference between the two instances of cannibalism on this show: how they’re similar and different.
When Shauna and Travis discover their loved ones bodies (both frozen might I add), they assume very similar positions, kneeling by their heads and touching their faces. Both of their death’s were caused by the collective inaction of the rest of the group. The person who takes the first bite was the person who loved them most, thus giving permission to the others to eat and spurring on the feeding frenzy.
Jackie was an accident, Javi was on purpose. When Shauna found Jackie, she screamed and was in denial, trying to shake her awake. Travis was almost completely silent, only whispering “I’m sorry” and cradling Javi’s head in his lap. They held onto Jackie’s frozen corpse for months so Shauna could grieve her, but they took Javi away from Travis after what couldn’t have been more than a few minutes. They ate Jackie whole like vultures, but they butchered Javi like an animal. The process of eating Jackie took a long time, almost three months from her death to consumption. Hell, she was slow roasted. With Javi though, “it all happened so fast” he was dead, cleaned, and eaten all within a few hours.
Shauna ate Jackie’s ear first. Jackie was driven into the cold by Shauna’s words. Travis ate Javi’s heart first. Javi went after Natalie because Travis loved her and because he loved Travis.
I’ve seen people say that the progression to the Hunt was too sudden and a result of bad writing but I’m going to have to disagree! Just from the parallels between Jackie and Javi’s deaths alone you can tell these writers know their shit. The Hunt has been teased since Doomcoming back in S1, the bloodthirsty side to the Yellowjackets has long been set up (Not!Tai eating Jackie’s face, Misty pushing Crystal, Shauna beating up Lottie). All season, we have seen various characters talking about eating another person multiple times (Misty and Crystal with the bone broth, Gen and Melissa about Crystal’s body, Mari and Misty both threatening Coach Ben), so they’ve had cannibalism on the brain for a while before they decided to Hunt. I’d go so far as to say the first signs of the Hunt were back in 1x01 with the girls icing out Allie for the greater good so they could win nationals. Them shunning Jackie solidified that the Yellowjackets were more than comfortable singling out and dehumanising one of their own, so long as the rest of the group deemed it necessary.
Cannibalism also is probably one of those things that gets easier the more you do it? Like they definitely would have Hunted and eaten Travis during Doomcoming if they had already taken the first step into cannibalism before then. Once they ate Jackie, all bets were off. The Wilderness “refusing” to let Lottie die was just a convenient excuse, they were hurdling headfirst into hunting their friends for sport looooong before then.
All this to say the Season 2 finale destroyed me and these are only Some of my thoughts about it. I’m not even TOUCHING the Natalie stuff yet.

For Ficlet friday Firstprince and Getting lost at the bachelor/bacheloretteparty, pretty please :)
Hi Anna! Sorry I'm late, but thank you for the prompt!
🗺️ Getting lost on the bachelor/bachelorette party
Alex finds himself wandering to the rooftop of the Stargazer Louge. He should be down, celebrating his sister and his best friend during their bachelorette party. He was, and he’s happy for his girls, he really is, but… Ah, well. It hurts to see them so happy with each other, just to find himself alone in a corner. He wants love. Despite his parents’ divorce, some part of him that never grew up to scoff at fairy tales craved that passionate, all-encompassing love, the feeling of finding your soulmate, someone who matches you, someone who loves you with all your strength and flaws. Someone who would never find him too loud, too excited, too messy, too much to say. Someone for him. He tries. His last couple of relationships never even got past the “meet your parents” stage, then he was swamped with work in a new law firm with his new job and just didn’t have the time other than a couple of hook-ups and drunken one-night stands. He used to have June and Nora around his corner to pull him out, a constant reminder that despite everything, he’s not completely alone. But now with them getting married and planning to start a family, they’re inevitably gonna have less and less time for him. And he feels kind of pathetic, like a petulant child crying for attention, even though he’s a grown-ass man. God, why does he keep being the one left behind? He leans against the railing and signs. Fucking hell. But then from the corner of his sight, he sees someone else, also against the fence but looking outwards, staring at the night sky, whimpers and quiet sobs coming from his shaking figure. He walks up to the guy and gets a better look at him and oh my— In front of him is the most handsome man he’s ever seen, with sparkling blue eyes, a tall nose and plush velvet lips, his blonde hair swept back by the evening wind, slender fingers gripping on the railing bars. “Hey,” Alex starts cautiously, not wishing to spook him. The man looks at him, startled, clearly just noticing his presence, and rushing to wipe the tears and snot off his face. Alex hands him a tissue packet from his pocket. “Ah, hello. Goodness, I’m terribly sorry about you seeing this, I’m a proper mess right now.” “Not a problem at all, sweetheart. You alright though? You looked like you could use some company.” Jesus, what was he doing? Alex never comes on this strong, certainly not when he’s sober and the person he’s interested is crying alone on the top of a bar. “Ah. It’s just— My friends offered to take me out for fun tonight, they say that I don’t get out enough. But I’ve never been here before and got lost, and my phone battery died and my friends were my rider here and I just— Everything is going wrong today, and then I just remembered that five years ago today we found out my dad had cancer. He passed three months later. It’s all a mess.” The stranger wipes his new tears and tries to compose himself. “Oh God, what am I doing, I’m so sorry you don’t need to hear a random bloke vent—” “No no no! It’s fine!” Alex rushes to reassure him. “Thank you for telling me that. It’s alright. We all have our bad days. And uh, I’m really sorry about your dad.” Henry sighs and looks up to the sky again. “We used to stargaze. He got me a telescope for my seventh birthday and we’ve been looking for stars ever since. You could see so many in our family’s holiday house in Wales.” He lets out a bitter laugh. “Can’t see shite here though. So much for a place called ‘Stargazer Louge’.” “Yeah, unfortunately, that’s New York for ya.” Alex answers, then tentatively asks “I don’t suppose you could tell me more about the stars? You look like you could use some company?” “Oh please don’t feel obligation—”
“Nope, I genuinely am interested in getting to know you, sweetheart. Unless you don’t want me to, then I will fuck right off, no hard feelings.” The man stares at him for a minute in disbelief, then shakes his head and laughs. It’s a beautiful sound. “Well then, thank you dear. Let’s start with names, shall we? I’m Henry.” He wipes one hand against his pants and holds it out, and Alex grasps it in return, warmth traveling through his palm up his arm and zooming into his heart. “I’m Alex. Nice to meet you, Henry.”
I think I played a little loose with the prompt, but I'm pretty happy with what came out! Might refine it to make a full fic someday in the future
