Mountain pulls Dew close once the laughing slows and kisses his forehead and Dew stretches up to kiss his. when they get back up to the abbey they both reveal they actually have rings for each other too (i know nothing about rings dont get mad at me. i also dont know why i gravitated towards agates idek if theyre good ring gems) a ring with a moss agate for Mountain and a fire agate for Dew, each representing their element. for their wedding its the other way around. Mountain gives Dew a ring infused with his earth element and Dew gives him one enthused with his fire element. theyre both giving away parts of their being to the other because thats how deep their bond is. Dew's wedding ring is a wooden band, a testament to the knowledge that Mountain knows he would never burn him with his flame. when Dew touches it, its helps his mind clear and calms him.
