The Forum OCs are retired and I probably won't ever write them again. Mako Jun, I'd probably have to brush up on every now and again when the mam of his husband Atlas pops in to chat. I’ve been out of touch with anime as of late so you can imagine my absolute horror when I found out that Inuyasha had a sequel where Sesshomaru had kids with Rin. Wtaf I thought we were past this. I thought that we were progressing past this goddamn genre of “couples”. The studio making this sequel pulled an Usagi Drop on every dedicated Inuyasha fan and said, “yeah, this is going to be an anime about feminism”. I’m so heartbroken but I’m glad that there’s some semblance of sanity here because Twitter and Instagram are just minefields.

I imagined this is your reaction when you came back from anime hiatus only to find all the madness that was unleashed 😂😂

On a serious note though, I'm sorry that you have to feel this way 😭 and I'm sorry too to everyone whose experiences with the og Inuyasha series were forever tainted because of that horrendous pairing :" This is something we didn't foresee and expected to happen, except for those who have weird fetishes and haven't grown out of their self-insert phase......

imo usagi drop is another level of disgust cause it was the mangaka herself who made the ending of rin and daikichi ended up together 🤮🤮 even though we are beyond devastated that RT approved of her characters to be a romantic pairing in HnY, at least she herself actually considers their relationship as parent-guardian and child.

Yeah, ngl, twitter ig and tiktok are SUPER messed up. Especially twitter. Like, there are fights almost every single fucking day because we are not allowed to criticize their rating-is-the-same-as-One Piece show and their oh-so-beloved favorite characters. Absolutely ridiculous. Although we can also find shippers who crossed their line to comment on antis' post (they can just strolling around somewhere else and read posts that fit their tastes for fucks sake instead of "preaching" on antis' posts and tags), at least we are still able to discuss things without worrying too much that things will escalate quickly and badly. oh kacc//hako isn’t like. problematic persay, it just personally doesn’t sit right with me because the idea of deku’s best friend dating his bully feels very... odd to me, and besides that the ship is just kinda boring to me imo. i do know deku n bakugo’s relationship has gotten better since the manga but idk it just doesn’t do it for me. i might take it out of my dni eventually though

also for sess//rin.... OH BOY um. it’s bad. it’s awful LOL basically sesshomaru found rin as a little girl (she’s like 9 or something and he’s like a 200 years old but in demon years he’s what... 20? 19?) and he saves her from getting attacked by wolves. when he first met her, she was a mute and helpless little girl who’d been abused by the villagers in her village, but thanks to him taking care of her, she learned to talk and feel better again, and also caused him to open up as a person too. he takes care of her for a few years then dumps her in the village inuyasha and his gang stay in, but keeps in contact with her through letters and visits throughout the years. so... he’s watching her grow essentially and people ship them. it’s real gross

A small update I’ve been meaning to make for a hot minute now. My dumb ass hit another mental health low point and although I’ve been writing here and there, nothing is actually sticking. It sucks major donkey balls because I have all these ideas I want to explore but even though the desire is there, my brain just shuts that shit down. The good news tho is that I have officially started seeing a therapist, which was long overdue. My first appointment was this past Tuesday and I’d honestly be shocked if she didn’t prescribe me some sort of antidepressant going forward so fingers crossed that it will help balance me out some. I don’t expect a miracle, obviously, but any level of improvement would be a welcome one at this point. 😅

Besides that, I finished the first Inuyasha series and I’m currently on episode 11 of The Final Act so I’ll definitely have this knocked out before Yashahime starts up. Idk about anyone else, but the melodrama between Inuyasha, Kagome and Kikyo actually ruined any and all enjoyment I felt for the series and I’m really only here for the side characters at this point. I have a lot of unpopular opinions about that three way cluster fuck, btw, but I’ll keep that to myself. For now. ☕️🥱

Oh, I also got hooked on playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild just in time for Nintendo to announce the prequel game so that’s cool ig. I’m not much of a gamer tbh but Zelda has the nostalgia factor going for it since I used to play Ocarina of Time on the N64 constantly. Plus, the open world gameplay is super cool imo and I like that you can just kind of fuck around doing whatever. Yes, I feel thirst for a few characters. No, none of the ones you just thought of are correct. 😂 One doesn’t even have a name, that’s how unimportant he is to the story.

So anyway, that’s about it. I’m just over here wading through the muck, trying to find my way out. I’m not done writing, I enjoy it too much to give it up forever, but hopefully I’ll be back to posting sooner rather than later and if I’m lucky enough to find a medication that works for me, y’all won’t have to deal with these random hiatuses anymore. 😂
