Listening to Old Gods of Appalachia and decided to try my hand at digital art for the first time in A Long while. Wanted to figure out my visualization of Jack and got a bit caught in the weeds.

I'm relistening to Old Gods of Appalachia and I realized something I hadn't thought of before. In Episode 0.5, Horned Head says Daughter Dooley has "kinship with this land." I always thought that just referred to how she shepherds it and lives off it and nourishes it.

BUT I just realized today that parts of Ireland used to be part of the same mountain range as the Appalachians. So there's also a kinship there. I'm only just now entering the Old Gods online discourse so no idea if this has been brought up before.
