OK so brief theorising from the promo, Stedes wearing I think the same blue shirt when he's getting tortured and when he pushes Ed into the wall. And then the shirtless bed scene you can see the healing wound, so thats after all the torture and whatnot. So what if once they survive ~all that~ they go back to the cabin are like, fuck going slow we almost died again, it's time to fuck nasty, and boom Eds slammed up against a wall so fast his head spins.

So you know how izzy doesn't have a right leg in the new trailer, maybe, maybe I'm theorising here. But yknow how ed made him eat his toes maybe he just kept on going up from there? 😬

You know what I have noticed a distinct lack of? After-fix-it texts or discussions. If you’ve been on OFMD Tumblr, you’ve bound to come across scenarios and headcanons of the Great Ed/Stede Meet-And-Make-Up, theorised to occur around the middle of s2. But what after that? When they’ve made up, when they’ve reconciled, what happens then? What occurs in that awkward last-half before the very probably cliffhanger? Because I refuse to believe nothing will happen and Ed and Stede will just live in bliss of knowing that they love eachother. I want drama, I want something like the Fuckery, or the Hoity-Toity party (of course not that, but you know what I mean, right??)

okay so narratively, i understand this decision. crowley has Fallen, he has seen the worst sides of [angelism?? ethereality? eh] and understands that theres a systemic issue here, not just a few bad apples. slight sidenote, LOVING the protective energy here!!

but yeah, crowley sees the bad but aziraphale has lived his millennia essentially being puppeteered, terrified of Falling, of defying God, (see that Job episode as eg.) of [anything which crowley represents, really]. he has been basically trained to go "God" = "Good", so understandable that even when angels or archangels or the metatron are doing questionable things (2nd armageddon, or whatever the "Second Coming" is (is that a bible thing? im not christian i dont know shit but it sounds like an antichrist thing maybe we get more adam/anathema/dog content, idk, fingies crossed)) aziraphale just thinks "do what god intended and it will be fixed"

went off a bit there but yeah, i see why narratively they took it like that. something needs to snap in aziraphale to be able to see what the issue is - you saw them all (hopefully, ur not reading this w/o having seen it) freaking TF OUT in ep6 when the metatron walked in and revealed himself, they idolise that fucker for some reason.

but - logically, yes, make me Suffer watching the best bois but emotionally??? how could you! ive been stalking the good omens s2 tag for a lil bit before writing this and yes, people have a point, my ofmd trauma is kicking in because i Feel the pain but am now also hopelessly theorising on what possibly could fix this in s3 (hopefully the Writing Gods provide it for us!!! strike time permitted, obviously, as long as its actually confirmed and not just sitting around without answers on a potential continuation because that is agony)
