do you have a favorite minor character? minor as in they only appear in like three chapters and will probably never be mentioned again.

mine is Portgas D Rouge because I find her fascinating despite the little we know about her. like how and when did she meet Roger? what was their relationship like? what type of person would the Pirate King fall in love with? what type of person would fall in love with the Pirate King? were they even in love or was Ace an oopsie??

was she a pirate herself at some point? did she ever meet the rest of Roger's crew? did Rayleigh know about her? why did she stay in Baterilla if she knew the Navy was hunting down babies and pregnant women?? did she use Haki to stay pregnant so long? idk is that even possible?

did she know about the Will of D?? she's one of the very few female character that we know of with the D initial. she was the ONLY one for a long time before we knew Vivi was a D.

I just have so many questions about her but I have a sneaking feeling that Oda will never answer any of this.

Through the years of reading and watching one piece, the dressrosa arc is by far the BEST arc I've ever read (ofc not for the anime, the pacing and artstyle were terrible) with all the diverse characters and the amazing fights as well as the lore. One thing that caught my eyes in this arc is the people of Dressrosa, the citizens ofc.

No I'm not talking about Viola or Kyros or Rebecca or even The tontattas, I'm talking about those dressrosan civilians whom you saw in the background, either cheering for the death of rebecca or kyros in his flashback or shaming Riku or even running for their lives.

Those people honestly are the worst! Worse than doflamingo even (ngl the doffy family looked rad) because even though he did what he did, he did it because he had a goal on his mind: overthrow the rikus, take over dressrosa and start manufacturing the smile fruits. But the citizens though... They were literally cheering for the death of a minor. Why? Because her gRaNdPa DiD aN oOpSiE. Like, even if her grandpa did something bad, she shouldn't be treated like that for god knows how long...

GOD oda is so good at making the citizens insufferable AF, and that's why he's the goat
