We already know what happens if a critter gets involved in it (Octopus Wildkratticus) but that didn’t have a disc for a walrus, great white shark, bow whale or atka mackerel sooooo

I’m dead serious when I ask this but,and sorry if this is in an episode,I haven’t rewatched wild kratts since I was a kid(I SHOULD), how would everyone from the wild kratts react to a child getting their hands on the creature power suits and/or managed to activate it?

(My bloody auto correct corrected kratts for krafts. Wild krafts sounds a bit funky.just had a look at what it means and apparently it means a kind of strong, smooth brown wrapping paper. 0_o)

Many instances..if a child gets onto the hands of a creature power suit, they wouldn't be able to activate it, because number one: you need a disc to activate it, and number two: even if there IS a disc in the suit for some reason, a child wouldn't know how to activate it or find the right animal to activate it

Another instance if a kid manages to use it, considering its still a child, it would be hard for them to get used to the activated suit, it depends on what animal though, and the crew of the kratt brothers could easily deactivate it and take the suit away to be more secure..soooo idk

Octopus Wildkratticus is absolutely iconic, ngl my little sister and I always joked about the Among Us references we could squeeze out of it. And Chris is legendary in this episode.

Them having a Bimbo/Himbo dynamic where one or both of them will come up with a dumb idea and then execute it. Aviva is very much a fuck around/find out kind of inventor and Martin is creative and willing to learn.

They just constantly encourage each other in the shenanigans until something goes wrong (or right!) or one of the others steps in (or Martin and Aviva will suck the others into the invention shenanigans).

Like just,,,,, one of my favorite details about Bandito: The Black Footed Ferret is Martin being eager to test the stonedriller because "It looks awesome."

Their interactions in Flight of the Pollinators—the bit where Aviva thinks Martin is losing it, their pooled efforts to find Chris and the little interactions between them that ensue. Aviva making the keychain for Martin in the Christmas Special. Martin making sure to grab Stuffo when leaving Zach's jet in Panda Power Up. Pretty much all of their interactions in Mosquito Dragon, Crocogator Contest, and so many more episodes—there's just something so sweet and wholesome and vaguely nuts about them and it gives my brain all of the happy juice when they interact.

Finally a translation of this sorry for taking so long

It is true that some brands test their products of almost any kind on animals but… what if Aviva does the same with CPS but not only tested them on animals but also on humans creating hybrids, chimeras or horrid-looking amalgams which some she thought she had killed and destroyed but they managed to survive, did they adapt to the environment where Aviva had abandoned the body?

These experiments gone wrong, the older the more horrid and the more in constant pain they are (imagine two fucking voices in your fucking head yelling at you to do one thing and another telling you to do the opposite)

Chris and Martin meet one of these creatures on one of their adventures and almost die after the attempted amalgamation attack, they begin to find out the origin of this creature, obviously at first thinking that it was a new species as they did in the Octopus episode. Wildkratticus where they believed that the octopus that had "fused" was an undiscovered species (I can come up with an idea for an AU with this concept of cross-species fusion)

I was inspired by the original idea I had for Gen chimera au/Forest Green au where Naztarim received help from Zach modifying Chris's CPS causing horrible chimera-like genetic modifications and his final stage an amalgamation (part of this idea stayed in the version I currently have for Gen Chimera au)

oh time to get creative!! well i gotta say as for hc's im pretty much projecting, most, if not all of them, come from my own experiences

-chris is sensitive to touch and texture, and while for the most part hes gotten over this it was a bit of an inconvenience when the team first started their adventuring. sometimes some animals just fucked with his senses really bad, either smell or how they felt. (same king) but hes loved them all the same and tries his best not to let it get in the way of his adventuring and is (mostly) successful but has the one off day sometimes

-martin is super expressive! he stims a lot for really strong emotions like excitement or anxiety. they show up externally including but not limited to, flapping his hands jumping up and down kickin his feet and rocking or bouncing in his seat. he also can get really loud when hes super excited and when hes overwhelmed he gets either super silent or if hes talking hes kinda shouty.

-(my friend and i came up w this one) they all knew each other one way or another as kids, and while the bros mostly stuck together as kids, they met koki aviva and jimmy along the way and eventually they kinda melded their groups together and began going on adventures together!

-in "Octopus Wildkratticus" aviva and chris are 'fighting' over discovering a new species or saving the creature powersuits and when they ask martin he says "i agree with both of you?" my man doesnt like confict and hates coming between people (hey like me!) so he tends to usually be a middle ground in arguments or disagreements, and the team have learned this over the years. chris pokes fun at him for it but they all know he will pick a side when he needs to.

-chris likes to draw the animals. no explanation other than he was my favorite when i was a kid and i grew up loving to draw so now i decided he loves to draw. ever adventure they go on he always tries to take time to at least sketch them, and hes put his favorites up around his room (do they have bedrooms in the tortuga?)

i think this is all i have for now but wow this was longer than i thought it would be! thanks so much for asking!! i really like making hcs for a show that means so much to me.  (edit: i was gonna do opinions in a different post bc i thought you could answer the same ask twice but apparently you cant?) as for opinions!!  the show is a lot more chaotic than i remember!! and i forgot just how much i adored it. there are tons of shows that i loved as a kid but going back to now, they were certainly meant for a specific audience which isnt bad! just not the same rewatching it right? wild kratts cannot get old ever like, the aspects that really give away that its made for kids dont take away from the show at all. its enjoyable even now and as someone who thrives in media with huge fandoms its definitely fun to come back to something i loved as a kid and poke around its fandom now that i have The Internet.

i hope that didnt sound too weird im forgetting that im writing a tumblr post not an english paper, and that i dont really have to seem like i know what the fuck im saying its just gotta be coherent.

with that said id like to shake them around in a pickle jar like lilo does and study them like im a scientist discovering genetics or something.
