tip toe with my bare feet-it’s your spirit I’ve come to know.

I want to be the salt in your hair, on your lips.

The light that navigates when you come and when you go.

The Rippling Cries

The turtles now

wear plastic rings

In spills of oil,

the birds soak their wings

The corals and their reefs

Are now nothing but bleach't

Plastic bottles and covers

Are filling their appetit'

Their cries are now just echos

Bouncing off the waves

They feel its getting better

But dying, now just takes days

Carry away my collected dust

Shedding my hermetic shell

I felt her hallowed exhales

On my virginal, stretched skin

Is the love of rooting and soaring
