Thoughts on the way spirits present themselves:

Sometimes, when we're calling spirits, they're arrive without us knowing. The spirit could be standing right in front of us waving, and our subtle senses just aren't fine-tuned enough to see them. Some get around this by working with a scryer. Others might build the ritual pressure in the space until the spirit is compelled into become more visible. Something i find consistently reliable is utilizing forms of passive divination.

This way, you have ways of diving a spirit's presence without having to pull your attention away from your conjurations or ritual actions.

Passive divination methods for spirit conjuration could include:

Burning incense to see figures and signs in the smoke

Letting candles melt to look for symbols in the wax

Hanging bells around the space

A water scrying set up where the surface is oily to more easily produce images

Above, I included photos from a ritual I did a while ago where I used candles and stone with a similar purpose. This stone was being consecrated as a tool to scry with in the future, and I wasn't receiving clear signs that the spirit i called had come. It wasn't until I looked down and saw the melted wax in the form of a black hand that I realized they were sitting with me. It was small and very subtle, so subtle I could've easily missed it.

Having passive ways of scrying and divining the presence of spirits can be a huge help when exploring new spirits and conjuration methods. It takes some discernment to know how to use them, but when applied well, they are a huge boon to one's setup.

Honestly, I really dig this combination of cards. I feel like this Page of Wands is asking you to take a different approach when thinking of success. It's clear that you value material and spiritual achievements equally, but you see them as something that's too far away from your reality. I think that it is very important to recognize that you are guarded by energies that match your ambitions, and you are doing things right to become the person you wish to be. 

Other than that, it is also relevant to think of the dissonances and miscommunications that can cause you trouble when trying to face any obstacles in your journey. The Emperor and The High Priestess are both equally strong in their own ways. Both of these energies are present in your life, and they happen to be complete polar opposites, the peak of male energy and the peak of female energy. Consecration of the Seat of Spirit:

Inspired by dreams and visions, I began the process of creating this new ritual tool. Where this chair serves as a receptacle for receiving spirits, allowing them to manifest in this seat.

I came across this child sized rocking chair at a thrift store, and immediately knew it was the one. The people working in the shop told me this chair had been there since before they were hired, and they never expected to see it go. But for only $6 it became mine.

To consecrate this spiritual throne, it was washed with water imbued with willow and blessed under the full moon, anointed with a Serpent Oil of my own design, and dressed in smoke & powders before being fed. Finally, a spirit in my court who has dominion over gates and spiritual passages was invited to be the first to sit and empower this seat.

Im beyond excited to begin putting it to daily use.

PICK A PILE READING- what you're focusing on right now vs. what you should be really focusing on

pile 1: you might have overindulged in resting or withdrawing from your actual duties this last month, possibly because of burnout and mental exhaustion which has put you in a flight or fight mode and everything that followed was pretty much of a domino effect. you're awaiting the next battle instead of peace and the cards want you to know that it's time to get out of your head. overanalyzing is clouding your vision, you should focus on being emotionally vulnerable instead of getting stuck in rigid thought patterns. be more curious, ask yourself what has led you to this point instead of punishing yourself for it. it's time to recognize what's truly holding you back: you. stop overthinking!! you're gonna be absolutely fine. remember your affirmations and drink more water pls

pile 2: you're battling challenges and pushing forward like no other, instead of fighting against life or against yourself let the page of swords (curiosity) guide you towards wisdom and structure. grounding yourself in stability, knowledge and financial security is what you should be doing right now. if you've been feeling like things are out of your control, trust that the universe is shifting in your vision and in your favor. you're always in control, whether you're aware of it or not. surrender to the state of the wish fulfilled.

pile 3: you're stuck between clarity and emotional attachment, you know that something/someone is bad for you and yet you stay because it's too hard to walk away from it emotionally, you're still holding on this emotional cycle that keeps pulling you back in your self made prison. you are a powerful manifestor so why do you feel the need to do this to yourself? focus on emotional fulfillment and on creating a solid foundation for yourself. create the life you know you deserve instead of settling for whatever it is that you're accepting as your current reality.
