Howdy! I'm Jay! (she/they, 29, genderfluid, bisexual) This is my main blog, where you'll find fandom content, shiny rocks, spooky shit, funny stories (usually by other people), and whatever else catches my fancy. I run a shit-ton of RP blogs, but only a few of them are active at any given time. I also have a writing blog and an RP meme blog that I occasionally update. Outside of Tumblr, I have a full time job at a fast food joint (hate with a burning passion), and I play a lot of Dungeons & Dragons (love!!!), and I try to just live my life. I'm a disabled punk who's really tired of living in a Red State, but can't bring myself to leave because this is my home, and there are still plenty of good things about it, like roadrunners, armadillos, cacti, cave systems, and prairies! Wish I could get out and see more of it.

Some guidelines for following/interacting with me:

No bigotry of any kind. That means no racism, no homophobia, no antisemitism or religious discrimination, no TERF or radfem bullshit, no man-hater nonsense (even from so-called feminists), and no sexism. Don't like, don't follow. You whine about it, you get blocked instantly. I will not suffer hateful fools!

If you regularly post about politics, US or otherwise, please tag it. Same with the wars in Gaza and Ukraine. It's not that I don't care! I think it's shitty what's happening over there, and the fact that America is on the wrong side in what is essentially World War III is fucking disgusting, but I do not have the funds or mental capacity to donate to every fundraiser that shows up on my dash, and seeing people suffering and feeling guilty for not being able to help has made my depression a lot worse over the past year. This is the reason why I've shut off my inbox.

That being said, if you have questions or want to chat, my DMs are always open! It might take me hours to respond because of my work schedule, but I will at least try. I am a very awkward and shy person. It takes me a bit to start coming out of my shell, and even then, I tend to be a social chameleon, matching the energy and interests of those around me. It is extremely difficult for me to truly be myself around someone else. Please be patient with me.

I do have Discord! If you want it, you can always DM me, but I admit that it's no longer my preferred method of contact, unless you want to voice chat. I'll join a server if I'm invited to one that interests me, but I won't always be active. Something about large groups of people being intimidating even on the internet!

As I said, I run way too many RP blogs, and I'll list the active ones below, but if you want to play with them, either shoot me a DM or send in a starter or five. I'm not exclusive, but I do tend to follow my partners back. I'm fine with playing with Anons, too!

@haunted-ex-rocket - My newest blog! Averis is a Pokémon OC based on my Pokémon GO! avatar, a rakish Ghost-type trainer from Kanto who used to work for Team Rocket but defected when he stumbled upon the Giovanni-funded Mewtwo Project.

@cursedphoenix - Another of my favorite OCs! Tancred is a witch who was afflicted with a sleeping curse after losing a duel to his evil mother. Over three hundred years later, he woke up, and is still trying to adjust to the modern world after decades of living in it. I used to write both him and Jett over on @covenunited , but that blog is no longer active due to loss of muse.

@feathers-n-fangs - Griffin is my vampire/warlock OC, and I love him a lot! He also has a Pokémon AU, among others.

@mage-of-black-robes - my Raistlin Majere RP blog!!! Heavily influenced by the Russian musical The Last Trial, but he also has a ton of AUs.

Vesper + 🦾🔮🩺 pls!! I'm intrigued 👀

vesper + johnny. the cringe fail duo my beloved. they hate each other sooooo much at first, johnny might be an asshole but vesper can be worse if you push her to that point. her first interactions with johnny are basically a 'oh he thinks he's an asshole? i'm going to show him who's a son of a bitch then.' they basically antagonize each other sooo much until they kinda...like to antagonize each other, you feel me? might be a fucked up way to bond but i mean, what's not fucked up about what happened to them. they become the type of besties that shit on everyone else, vesper ESPECIALLY likes when johnny shits on fenix bc the fact that fenix can't hear him but KNOWS when johnny is talking about him (bc vesper can't stop her snarky laugh) pisses him off soooooooooo much. they have their moments tho, sometimes vesper just wants to make johnny shut the fuck up but after getting rid of him,,yea she kinda misses him, won't say it out loud but it's clear when sometimes she turns to speak with him only to find silence ://

vesper + misty. ah..this is the kind of 'that's the gf of my best friend so i have to act polite and friendly at all costs' case. or at least at the start of their relationship. they would chat a few times, vesper would ask her how she's doing out of politeness and that would be it. it's not that she thinks anything bad of misty but they're kinda too different, misty is a 'head in the clouds' type of person for vesper, while she has her feet firmly planted on planet earth, let's say that. still tho, she always thought highly of misty, she has a good heart and made jackie very happy so vesper had no problem with her at all. it's tragedy that brings them together, as tragedy usually does. vesper was truly touched by misty's care and attention after everything that happened with the heist and the fact they both lost someone so dear to them truly brought them together. i think vesper would take a bullet for misty, she would do ANYTHING for her if she asked

vesper + viktor. let's..let's start with a reveal here..vesper had one big crush on viktor. veeeery big. vesper would always ask jackie if he was going to visit viktor and if she could tag along jdkfhk, viktor is the kindest of the souls in that damn city and vesper was starving for some kindness when they met. i think viktor knew, maybe, and maybe was flattered by the attentions but that's it. he was a boxer, she was a boxer, they clicked very easily over that. her, viktor and jackie would meet to watch matches together, and vesper has playfully challenged him to a little friendly boxing match too a few times. i think they both care for each other a lot and are very good friends!! vesper needs to hide her embarassment at times bc she's plagued by memories of every stupid thing she did to spend time with him kfjdfhjds

tancred + saul. rubbing my evil little hands together. still unsure if they meet up in canon or not tbh but i'll pretend that they do rn. first reaction: tancred thinks saul is hot. he'd probably want to fuck him once, or twice, some fun among the desert u know. aside from that, he would be wary as tancred usually is, other nomads clans can mean trouble for HIS nomad family so he's always like..attentive, ready to put a knife behind's someone back or a bullet. they would be civil to one another, maybe even have some kind of "alliance"? helping each other etc but i think saul would think tancred a bit too crazy to actually engage with him for more than a few chats or a few funny silly nights. insane in the head as insane in the pussy as they say JKDFHNDSKJF

Ferdinand didn't take any heed of the whispers around him. Many people hadn't taken issue with the fact that the little stowaway had taking such a shine to him. They thought it was rather adorable how the young Vestra boy followed him around. One of the nuns had compared it to a kitten following its mother.

But what some had started to take issue with is the fact that Ferdinand insisted on taking the lad everywhere with him where he could. If it was safe enough, and Tancred's health was good that day, he took the child out for a ride on his horse. Or took him to market when it was his turn to run errands. The two often found themselves in the kitchens as well, with little Tancred taste testing anything Ferdinand had chosen to create that afternoon.

And now, Ferdinand was sitting in on a lecture being hosted by a guest speaker from the School of Sorcery in Fhirdiad. With Tancred sitting in his lap, listening closely.

And the teacher wasn't pleased.

"Young man," the speaker called out. "Could you please take your little brother out of here? This is a lecture for Academy students only."

Ferdinand looked up from his notes. "Brother? Apologies, but you are mistaken. I am an only child."

"Then why do you have a child on your lap?"

"He is the little brother of a peer," Ferdinand explained. "And he is in need of constant watching due to his health. He is well behaved. And skilled in magic. I can promise, we will both be model students in this lecture."

"Is he now?" The speaker came over and looked at Tancred, eyes narrowed as he assessed him. "Tell me, child. Do you know the difference between Black magic and Dark magic? And why both are listed under Reason?"

Tancred tilted his head, as if he didn't even see the mage in front of him.

The speaker scoffed. "I expected as much. Didn't hear a word, did he?"

"He did," Ferdinand assured. "He's just shy."

"'Shy'. Is that what we're calling it these days?"

Ferdinand glared at him. "I do not like your tone, sir."

"And I do not like having my time wasted." The mage walked back to the podium, waving his hand dismissively. "Take the boy and leave."

Ferdinand held his tongue and stood, balancing Tancred on his hip as he walked out. He didn't even notice a few of the other students following him. And he didn't spare a moment to those who snickered.

Tancred looked at him, and slowly began to sign. “Just because I can’t speak doesn’t mean I can’t hear.”

"I know that, Treasure," Ferdinand assured soothingly. "That man is just too full of himself. That is all."

"He's also very off about most of his basic theory," Tancred added. "Brother could give a better lecture."

"Is that so? Then perhaps we should ask Hubert to give a lecture sometime soon. Want to help me try to convince him?"

Tancred's eyes widened as he smiled in excitement.

He took that as a yes.

It's kind of sickening to root for him and Jaskier, especially when Jaskier is close friends with a Witcher, a Sorceress, and the Lady of Space and Time. All three of which Radovid would strap to a pyre without hesitation.

Like Ide has grown from depressed alcoholic mess to depressed businesswoman, mother of five, happily married, surrounded by close friends and I actually feel SO PROUD!!!! 10. Would you be friends with your muse if they were real?

Honestly? Probably not. At least not for a long time. Billy is a dickhead, and I have very little patience for people in general, let alone for people who act like they are the top dog. He’s loud, he’s aggressive, he’s insufferable, and I’d either be too anxious to want to be anywhere near him or end up getting into a fistfight with him that I would almost certainly lose. However! If I were to come across him in a situation where we were one on one, without all of his cronies feeding his ego, we might be able to get along. Possibly bond over being stressed out older siblings. I would also be like madly in love with his car because that Camaro is ✨😍Gorgeous!😍✨

12. Any old muses you’d love to bring back?

Ooh, okay, I have had A LOT of muses over the years I’ve spent on this hellsite lol. Some of the the OCs I have blogs for on this account are actually revamped Descendants OCs from an old account (Tancred on @covenunited and Basil on @poisonappleprince ). If I was gonna bring any more OCs back, I’d probably pull from there. Damien Frollo was one of my favorites. As far as canon muses go, I’d love to bring back Jaden Yuki from Yu-Gi-Oh GX if I still had the muse for him, or Dorian Gray (for the third time), or Enjolras from Les Miserables (also for the third time!), or possibly Kylo Ren/Ben Solo from Star Wars. Also had a pair of twin X-Men OCs that I wouldn’t mind revamping. The problem is that I already have too many blogs that are now derelict because I tend to just lose interest at the drop of a hat. (Gonna try not to do that here!)

16. Favorite trope?

Enemies to “Oh fuck, everything’s fucked!” to “I’ll tolerate you enough to work together,” to “We actually make a decent team,” to friends to “Who the fuck hurt you?” to “We’re ride or die,” to lovers! Or also “lovable dumbass sunshine sweetheart x grouchy asshole”. Or!!! Big Bad Evil Thing is secretly super easily flustered! And many more, but my brain is melting lol
