Because I feel like rambling forever about my Star Trek trash fire--picrews and of the link from this Picrew maker - introducing 3 of the characters that appear. It also just so happens these are the 3 oldest Star Trek characters I've got! Figured I'd start off with them. They're in the same story as zh'Ezkel, but her bio and T'val's bio will be for another day.

Expect a lot to change as I review Starfleet ranks and jobs also I'm trash at character summary things like this where I can either never stfu about them or splutter out a few sentences.

Lieutenants Warden & Ward - I put them together because they're effectively everywhere together both in-story and meta-wise and this is the first time they have ever had last names hot damn.

Random note: Oceana is one of my oldest characters and I've had her in one canon or other world or another since I was ~7 or so

-Names: Oceana Warden & Nick Ward -Rank: Lieutenant (I messed up on the pips in the picrews forgive me) -Department: Insurance Security -Age: "35" -DOB: ??? They'll say within a month or so of each other -Nicknames: Merry for Oceana and Pippin for Nick -Very Brief bio: Little is known about these two other than they are incredibly close (friends? a couple ??). They showed up one day, seemingly out of nowhere, and joined Starfleet a couple years after their records materialized. The only one who seems to know a whole lot about them is their Andorian friend from the Academy days, Sabrin. ...And good luck getting him to tell you anything about them. -Current status: Recently transferred to serve under Captain Viráy of the USS [tf are names]. New to the ship and on there for a very specific mission, the two are eager to pretend nothing is amiss if it means spending time with their friend Sabrin again.

These two share everything, by the way. Every. Thing. The poor CMO knows if one shows up for a penicillin shot, the other will be there once their shift is done.

-Name: Zaelisabrin th'Gaoli -Rank: Commander -Department: Medical -Age: ~40 -Nicknames: Sabrin -Very Brief Bio: Youngest of three, Sabrin's clan set up had it set that if he joined the military, he'd join Starfleet. Initially hesitant, Sabrin did accept the task if it meant doing right by his family. He signed up when he was in his early 20s, after he and his quad had a family started. He is, miraculously, a father of five very chaotic, curious teenagers. -Current status: Chief Medical Officer under Captain Viráy for the last eight years, Sabrin feels he has finally found his place in Starfleet. He is very happy to see his friends Oceana and Nick once more, and while he knows that means Some Serious Shit is about to go down (it's never normal around those two), he isn't going to complain. It's also a welcome distraction from the family drama that's his separatist brother.

Note: I'm pulling a lot of Andorian lore from The Last Unicorn's Among the Clans but also mixing it with the DS9 relaunch-related canon.

Band Aid Covers the Bullet Hole

She wished she could say she had been shoved out of her house.

But Oceana knew nobody would believe her. That had been the case–sort of. They had indeed shoved her out with their indifference and callousness and the thoughts they thought she had no knowledge of. 

Instead, Ocean had to say she as a runaway. That was the truth to everyone who meant anything in this world. But not to her–they were simply other blobs that walked upright and knew how to feed themselves. And were willing to do the work she detested or couldn't do.

What did Oceana want to do?

She had no clue. One that didn't pair her with people. People were awful. They thought things and did things that annoyed her, disgusted her, and worst of all, frightened her. She wouldn't admit to being scared.

But with how she could read minds, getting what she needed was easy.

Supposedly.

So said the people who did things that kept the world running.

But they didn't know what it was like to read minds. To actually peer into the thoughts and peel things back and see how people actually ticked and operated. 

It was awful. Disgusting. Vile. 

Relatable.

Oceana shivered as she pulled the ratty hoodie tighter around her. She hated getting what she needed. Not because she was a liar when she did it, knowing exactly what sob story to say to the person to get the food or things she needed. It was by necessity only. That was how she would get by.

As she walked down the empty, cold streets at who knew what hour, she spotted an old, torn down poster. It was a recruitment ad. She had seen plenty. She knew what it was for: Star Fleet.

First off, I want to say sorry for not answering this one sooner! I've had a hard time focusing on drawing lately and I've been a bit busy, But as a bonus you get 2 mews!

First here is Gumi, he's just a silly guy! he was my first idea for this ask, He is based off those kinda scary bioluminescent fish (like angler fish and such) I imagen he can't go to long without water, so he uses the frill around his neck to hold a bubble to stay hydrated.

And then Oceana! (still in the early works) she's a Primarina fusion! she is mostly based on some inside jokes my siblings kept making about another character I'm working on (which I'll hopefully post soon as well as a slightly more detailed depiction of this one >:3 )

As for canon, Oceana has a fairly important part I'm still working on and will be part the comics at some point, and Gumi is more of a side character but will be in at least one or two chapters with Oceana.

Pokemon AU: Oceana the Inteleon

Oceana the HippoSpy would be an Inteleon in the Pokemon world, she would be still some kind of Spy, using her skills to spy on outlaws and other villains. Finding out about evil plots and either stopping them herself or getting the needed help to do it instead. In this Au She would be more of a loner than her other versions as its would just be a lot easier for her to get around by her self than having a teammate, it would take a lot of convincing and friendship to get her on your team.

Hoshi has said that Flynn would actually be considered the scum of the Earth if he was an Oni . oni Kinda have an Inherent thing againist some of his Sketchy ways.

Hoshiguma said that If Flynn and Nanos Traits were Translated into an oni ,Nanoy would be the more Desirable one due to his demeanor , and the Scars , oni women like men like Nano in Personailty

he also says that Flynn would weight a bit more than Hoshi Doses as an oni however he’d be “soft” but Nanoya would be even bigger due to muscle .

Flynn would keep the Feathers but he’d be too heavy to Fly with them . They basically be decoration.

Oni Get offended by Curse meant to turn peoples into Orges as punishment ,like imagine people treating your whole Race as a punishment . They instead try to help people adapt to how an oni body works.

Oni have High Libido but they wish it was less it’s unknown how they kept it under control most oni due so you wouldn’t know until You get one in bed .

They also use alot of stuff to make food more Filling for themselves Eles Oni would eat all the Time due thier Strange metabolisms. If you have an Oni as a Partner you That weights going to sneak up on you and they Worried when People don’t eat
