SQH Time

Welcome to my SQH AUs! I've been making progress in filling out the peaks, so here's a round-up of what we have so far (everything rated T for Teen):

Peak 1: Yue Qingyuan

M/M, one-sided

~5,000 words

Summary:

The plan had seemed simple. It was a “for want of a nail,” situation, wasn’t it?

If Yue Qingyuan hadn’t been locked in the Ling Xi caves, he would have made it to the Qiu estate in time to rescue Xiao Jiu. If Shen Qingqiu was not a bitter person with ruined cultivation, he would not be so jealous of young Luo Binghe. And if Shen Qingqiu did not torment Luo Binghe when he was a disciple, and if Yue Qingyuan did not simply let it happen out of guilt, Luo Binghe would not have a reason to destroy Cang Qiong Mountain Sect.

So all Shang Qinghua had to do to save this ill-fated world (and most importantly, his own skin) was stop a young and desperate Yue Qingyuan from trying to force a connection with his future spiritual sword too soon.

Summary:

Alternatively titled, Shang Qinghua never met a meet-cute he couldn't screw up.

The story of how a pre-canon Shang Qinghua came to mean something to a future scum villain.

Summary:

Summary:

Qi Qingqi had heard it said that a woman’s heart was moved by admiration, while a man’s heart was moved by pity, but she’d always felt it was the other way around.

a.k.a Qi Qingqi takes her duties as Shang Qinghua's wingwoman seriously.

Peak 7: Liu Qingge

M/M

~10,000 words

Summary:

Liu Qingge was beautiful, and delicate, or so everyone assumed when they saw him, and he hated it.

Shang Qinghua was the big, dumb packmule of An Ding. Or so Liu Qingge first assumed.

But Shang Qinghua is cursed with very, very bad luck and Liu Qingge is about the only cultivator strong enough, fast enough, and resourceful enough to keep him out of harm's (or at least inconvenience's) way. When the two are assigned as mission partners, Liu Qingge steps up.

Summary:

This boy who always scurries off as soon as the lecture ends in a flurry of papers is never in the dining hall, has no bed in the dorms, and no shift in the infirmary. Asking around about him only gets Mu Fang blank looks and shrugs.

Whoever he is, and whatever color he may wear, he's not a Qian Cao disciple.

Summary:

Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky was an anti-social agoraphobic loser if there ever was one, albeit one with a talent for writing highly addictive and wildly entertaining stories. Who would live that kind of shitty, isolated life except by choice?

Wang Qingjie, Peak Lord of Ku Xing Peak, had a secret of his own, that should his fellow sect members been aware of it, would have had them shouting it from the rooftops for their own gain—which was why he had never revealed it.

This is not a “raising the protagonist” fic. This is a “raising the protagonist’s future wife” fic. Or rather, it’s Shang Qinghua trying to be a mentor to a teenage (demon) girl with anger management issues and bad decision making skills, and his debatable success.

       Uh... I think I actually have a blog for just about everyone I’ve ever wanted to play, at this point. There’s one OC I’d like to have a blog for but It’s not something I’d do without any push before hand, I don’t really like making OC blogs without knowing for certain at least one or two people would be interested in interacting with me. 

       Aforementioned OC is named Ku Shen. I’m writing up a post about all my Genshin OCs rn so I suppose more info on him will be available later- not that I intend to write him at the moment, just that if anyone wants to hear the brainrot abt the one other oc who lives in my head absolutely rent free.

       Uhhhh... other than that I’m going to be writing Diluc in a discord thread w/ @/melodicbreeze. Kinda lookin’ forward to that tbh.

📝 PATS TABLE AGGRESSIVELY GIMME MORE OF YOUR OCs

       Ku Shen is supposed to be dead. Shortly after the archon war it had happened- not that anyone knew how or why. He had never been the best fighter, true, but for someone so young and blind, he had excelled beyond expectations. The mission he had been sent on had been... so menial. A meaningless task of dispatching a small but restless beast, nothing he hadn’t done several times over in his centuries of life. 

       But he had simply... never returned.        Searches yielded nothing. Calls for the Adeptus were met with silence.         Eventually had a small funeral been held, a silent gathering of mourning for another friend lost- One of the first to go in a time of peace. 

              “You know, you really have no right to be mad at me after the stunt Rex Lapis pulled.”

       But there he stands, the long lost Adeptus himself- Looking quite well for someone whose supposedly been dead for over a thousand years- If only a bit bizarre in the department of clothing, but who could blame a blind man for not being the most fashion forward? 

              “Who would’ve thought! Our very own Rex Lapis faking his own death... I heard he caused quite the scene!” he holds his spear close, leaning ever so slightly against it- Liyue Harbor has changed so much, after all, and his little journey around the city had been on old memories, long since outdated- But at least the kind old ladies had been more than willing to help nudge him off in the right direction, when necessary. 

              “Do you think the old rock got the idea from me?” Of course, it seems he certainly doesn’t need any nudging when he makes his way to sit down like a man who owns the place. “Oh, to see the day the teacher becomes the student! Or, well... takes a hint from the student, I suppose. One of my teachers, anyways!” 

       A hand reaches out, careful, poking around on the desk for... ah! There! The cup of tea he’d been smelling! Yes, yes, that’s his now, thank you. “So... How’ve you been the past thousand years, D o c?”
